I know said I haven't had New Zealand meat in
thirty days. I was like, where's the lie?

We're talking about pies, guys. Last night was of course
the surprise the Pie Awards, the Suprame Pie Award Zealand. Okay,
and shout out to the ones that always.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Win, like Patrick's pies. I also see Daniel Order Bakery.
Shout out, shout outs. But I think you'll find the
judges have some competition, especially you guys. And I want
to say for you to Anna as well, because she's
got a real niche need for vegetarian pies and she's
actually putting up her hand for Wild Bean Cafe, you know,

like at the BP she becomes good. She can say, slap, Actually,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
They're not the one you were saying that they were.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I said Mobile. You see BP first.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
It's so funny how this is what he does.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Let him speak speak on Mobile BP. What happens at Mobile.

Mobile has the pont to Bee pies, but then they
have their own little pies as well, which is pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Really.

They just look like they've been in there about seventeen years.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Rolls depends where you go ahead, which mobile you go to.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Zid is hands down the best for me. I like
flaky pastry, whereas when you go to BP, Wild Bean
or Missus Max, like what Charlie has been having every
day after the show, just saying they're like little saucers,
little alien ships and you could go and they're rock hard.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
No, I don't want where are you going?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Every day?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I go to the back of our we're workers. There's
a little shop in the corner here on the corner
of was this Graham.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Street, and like behind us, just.

Behind us, and honestly, the pies, slap.

It's just a Missus Mix pie, Charlie. It's not like
they've made the pie.

I know, I know, I know, But like the thing is,
I'm not a pie guy. You know what I'm seeing.

You are a pie guy every day.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Late for the latter every day.

Speaker 3 (02:26):

It's just on that winter coat. Guys.

But you as you've got plans to have a pipe.

I am going to go to Ashby Pies because I've
watched his pies forever. You may know him on TikTok
if you're on the tiki talkie for deserts Cooked. He
makes ridiculously flavored, ridiculous flavor pies like fried chicken keem chi.
He teams up with different brands and New Zealand businesses
to colon and create pies. But also you know his

his bakery. Can I just say eshb Pies is located
in Saint Halias. It's a twenty five minute drive from
where I am right now.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I don't care. I'm literally gonna go which one can
have beef checken.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
They have specials as well, so I'm probably gonna get
to and I don't care. I actually don't care until
Charlie tells me that I'm signed up with BFT. I'm
gonna I'm gonna eat like I'm.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Still in Europe. No, start tomorrow, August.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
You didn't even tell me.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
No, I'm just saying start tomorrow. If you want to start,
just show up there to show up. But you know what,
you can't have a pie without having it with something.
You know, you can't go.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Like a physic.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
You know what. My husbandill always have a cream donut.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Boom, That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You know, he's a cream donut. Charlie's a cream donut.
And I guess that. I am like, so what else
do you have with your missus magpie? Then what are
you backing up? What if you've been backing that up
with every day.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Blue booth chips chicken it's not even something sweet though, no, no,
but then I have it ah ah.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
So he has the pie and then he has the
blue booth chicken chip, and then he hears an almond gold.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Listen to you, guys, I've upgraded from the small little
bars like from next door. They've got bigger size ones.
They've got big.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Size you know what our local cafe is doing there
buying anything that Charlie eats like and stocking up large.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I wonder if they asked for me.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yes they are, they've got your number. But look, look, honestly,
pie Awards. Come at these two. What a dream job, right.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I know, pie connoisseur. I'd like, honestly, Pie Awards. If
you seriously need someone to try a pie. I don't,
but I will. I will do it, and I'll be
so serious. I'll take any sort of food criticism. Is
so serious it would actually be a dream job of mine. Anyways,
