Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Flavor Podcast Network, the Flavor Breakfast Podcast with
stace A, Zorah and Charlie. We're lucky enough to be
joined the one usual Little Warriors game against the Dolphins
this weekend. Chance Nicole Klokstad morning, thanks brother.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hey, yeah, I know we're going to talk about rugby
lay again the Warriors versus the Dolphins. But about your
Olympic viewing. Have you been watching the Olympics?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
H No, I think I've seen a couple of clubs,
which is cool.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
You're one of those guys, I know what you mean
where you didn't watch it live, You're not watching it
on the on the sky spot. But when the videos
come out of the big moment like yeah, I'm with her,
I know what's been going.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I don't know why I don't watch it because I'm
going through the clubs watching all like the week.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
So you are watching it.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
You gotta watch something to take back to the to
the yarns, you know with the boys.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
You know when they start making conversations, I know what
they're talking about.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, hey, yeah, we see that. You've just had a
birthday too, haven't you.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah I did, I thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, so happy birthday still still a young man, aren't you.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Oh yeah, I felt young when I turned to nine.
I think that's a good start.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah it is. And so now it's all about the finish,
isn't it? For the Warriors taking on the Dolphins. Must
win now, isn't it?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
It is?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
It is?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
It's you know, it's all in our control, like a husband,
the whole year. So we're going to have to finish strong,
end when the next four.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Nice and we've got a home game in the monkst
that when things don't come together, and I mean this
kind of relates to the Olympics. You can see athletes
who have it in them, but they just can't bring
everything together at a particular time, you know, because that
wasn't the result we were after on Friday. How do
you reset? What are the most important things?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
I think it's about the individual I believe. Anyways, everyone
has to focus on what they can bring in, what
they can control, and what sort of effort that they're
going to put in come game day. And if we
can all do that individually, it'll all come together as
a team. So I feel like it's an individual thing.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Nice, So we bring it all together Sunday at four o'clock.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I really wanted to know because obviously huge news from
the week Sean Johnson announcing that this is his last season.
You know, I think everyone watching got a little tear
in their eyes. We saw we even saw you give
him a hug in the video that Sean posted. How
have you sat about the announcement?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yeah, it was crazy sitting there. Cameras were there. I
knew there was a camera in his car because I've
seen them on the way to training. And then I
was like, oh yeah. And then when he got up,
I was like, oh, see, he's going to announce his resigning,
and then he dropped a bombshell and I was, yeah,
I was gobsmack there. I didn't for myself as well.

(02:53):
I vividly remember walking into these these four Wars as
a kid and meet them for the first time, and
you know, just seeing Sean Johnson do his thing growing
up on TV. And I'm sure I'm speaking for a
lot of the boys here in our team and a
lot of you know, Rugby league fans. They all idolize

(03:14):
Sean Johnson and for him too to call at time
and you know close occurtains. It's yeah, it's weird. It's
even weird talking about it. We're going to running back
again next year and you're going to make the mess
over the next four games.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
It's definitely a big call. Aid.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Knowing that he's still got maybe a couple more seasons
under his bowty, he would think, yeah, yeah, no.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
It's I keep saying something, but you're still young man,
Like I compare him to other players and the n R,
like you've got old men over there, paraders. He's turning
threety five. Let me want to go there, but my guys,
my age. Yeah yeah, but I was just chatting to him,

(03:57):
and you know, he feels it's so right time and
there's a lot of weight off his shoulder, his shoulders,
which is you know, I'm happy for him and his
family what I meant to be happy, and he's happy
with his decision. No mean brother, bro, Bro, We're all
behind you here man here at Flavor.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
We love you guys, bro go hard, bring home the
dumb man.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
At the wires.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Thanks, see a fan.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
