Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Flavor Podcast Network, the Flavor Breakfast podcast with Stace, A, Zorah,
and Charlie.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
On the podcast, we celebrate our fathers early because we
can exactly, and.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
I made Charlie read some lines from White Checks because
I can.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And we had our air fleave on our boarding winners
Sydney and killing in the House.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yeah, oh you're here where they're going right now? On
the podcast and just like that, it was Flyvey Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Hey, how's your body? After that?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
You're with Zorah and Charlie this morning. No, Stace, she
should be back on Monday. But yeah, we did our
runneth on raising money with the help of A and
C for Defit all day beautiful course incredible, cause I'm
fine because I didn't.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
I didn't do as much running as you.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I think I ran two kilometers, but then I walked
the rest of fight whereas you you ran.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Man, You know what? Running and talking as wild, bro,
like trying to have that energy but then using their
energy to run as well. Ro Malow, we're back my handstrings,
my ankles, everything, So bro, what's on Sunday fast as
far as day on Sunday?

Speaker 4 (01:18):
So what's so far? Was to say, Sunday. What would
the what would the Christian be?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
What day his Father's day?

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Yeah? Right, you got a right Sunday.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Going out to all of the dad's in the world.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
And also just by the figures, right exactly, you know,
I mean it's everyone who's played a significant part in
your life as a father. Could be your uncle, could
just be your brother, anybody, or even the moms that
play your father as well.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, but but this is really important though.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
They're on Father's Day and it's just for the father's
because you know, mother's days does get a lot of love,
a lot of love.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
I do want to know what's it like being a dad.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
It's probably the best job. It's one of those jobs
that you never clock on job. It's not I mean, yeah,
literally your job is to Your job is to nurture, teach, love,
you know all that whole carry on.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
So it's a stiff. You need a job that.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
You're clocking, but you need a clock out, you know
what I'm saying. Like your job, Like my dad. I'm
you know, I have my own kids, but my dad's
still clock and he's always you know, making sure that
we are okay, making sure we're turning up to.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Church, you know, all that whole carry on bro.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So Dan's man, we got to love them. Oh mg.
There's a school in South Africa. And when I say, well,
when you think about chance, men, and you know you
love schools, love a chant, you know, but this's a
vibe and a chance.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
This is Northwood School. Check this out. And I know
you're not gonna be able to understand what you're saying

(03:05):
because they're literally screaming.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So the South Africans said twenty twenty three, we had
the World Cup in our hands. It's out like a light,
you know the Drake song. He said all blacks have
no chance. We're gonna keep it in our hands.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
It's just like they even though this is about the
all Blacks, but you can't deny.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
A good vibe, bro.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Come on, I'm feel a bit of beds say that
because obviously the All Blacks will be going up against
South Africa. You know one thing that I do respect
about South Africans is they love rugby.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
They're passionate.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I would almost say like at the moment, the probably
more into it than than it feels like we.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Are over here we need to change it.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
But you know, our love for rugby league has also
grown it as well. We're spreading the love over here,
whereas that is insane, the fact that they're you know,
their teachers gave them the past to go. Okay, boy,
spind the whole day dressing up and filming and making
a chance for that, but still always go the all blacks.

(04:13):
Yeah up the baby, giv.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
It to them.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Come on, Raiser, come on boys, come on, Sam Kaine,
he's on the team.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Let's go. Is there anything this man can't do? He's
an actor, he's a singer. We're talking about Tyree Gibson,
singer and obviously excell furious. Well, get this man. Where
does he find the time to study? He has graduated
with a doctorate of philosophy and humane tyraneism. What the

(04:42):
heck human terraneanism. I would even just go to a
university to study that word. Who mean who humane traneans?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Anyways, it's humanitarian, say humanity. Just try that for humanitarian,
humanitarian human I don't don't bother with the human part,
just humanitarian.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Okay, that one.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
So he's graduated with a doctor of philosophy in that
and honestly, according to the school's website, this is not
a degree they give out to any regular students. Obviously
he's not a regular student.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Hello, No, I know, I don't want.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
To boost your bubble, but this is this is this
weird thing that they do over in the States is
that they go out full doctorates, which by the way,
people spend like seven years.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
They give it to different celebrities.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
But the way that they work it out basically is
if they have spent x y z amount of years
you know, on music or on Da dada, then they
count that as you know. Technically, yeah, they didn't exams
and do like sitting in lectures, but they have worked.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Long enough, you know, and well more in simple terms,
it means a belief in improving people's life and reducing suffering.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
You know.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
And obviously, bro, he's been on other breakfast shows and
all this and you know, breaking down.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
So this guy man seven years and and other news.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Oh Steve Harvey, you know the guy, the game show guy.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
Everybody has a turn back moment. You have a moment
where you could go forward or you.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Can give up.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
The thing you have to keep in mind before you
give up is that if you give up, the guarantee
is it will never happen. That's the guarantee of quitting,
that it will never happen, no way under the sun.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Yes, Steve, Steve Harvey.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
So he is actually incredible and the reason why you
heard an inspirational quote. I'm not gonna lie. I love
reading his inspirational quotes that he puts on X and Yeah,
he is a very inspiring guy. Well, he's got a
biopic that is currently in early development called seventy two.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
So this should be quite exciting.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Because let's not forget that he lift a sale's job
that age of twenty six to pursue comedy full time,
you know, and he went through so many obstacles during
his career transition before moving into hosting the game shows.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Here's the man.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
A family feud. Even Kamkardashian and Kanye West went on
family feud. That's how famous, Stave Telie.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
You up on a school night.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I was up on a school night, man, And this
for a great reason. We celebrated Pacific Music Awards for
twenty years, you know, twenty years in celebration, and as
I walked in, honestly, I took the crew. This was different,
you know. I wasn't going with three houses down, it
was worth mas. I'll drive host Alissa who's his bestie,

(07:49):
and Michayla right who was in the office with us.
It was so good, Bro, just to walk through and
see all this Pacific talent and all young old and
we're all just there together to celebrate music and you know,
to like to be recognized in yesterday, like to be

(08:11):
named as a finalist, even a win. It's a biggie
and just from outfits to the live entertainment. Broo, just
starffe this guy and honestly, hand on, he's my family.
Like I know a lot of people say sure, Charlie,
but actually we're from Byni together. This guy. I have

(08:32):
never seen the PMAs that pack where to a to
a point where people were standing to watch him perform.
He's from Hawaii, by the way, so and all the
shows are all sold out, but people literally came. Obviously
for the awards, it's always a packed night, but this
was the extra pack for the insurance.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Everything was just packed up.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
And as soon as you perform, Bro, you just see
a seal cameras. You know, the lights and all this
are Bro and the whole I see your people just
singing Zorra like a choir. After Jostaffie was singing, I like,
you know, singing alongside him to a point where people
singing were louder than the actual live performance. But overall,

(09:14):
you know, they're recognizing a lot of people that paved
the way for New Zealand musicians, Pacific islanders.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
You know everything.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
It was just all recognized on the night and me
and Mass had the provisit to present Pacific Best Group
and congratulations to.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Winning that one. I wanted to do that.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
I see.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
I said that to Mathic in his win switt. You
know what I mean. I'm like, bro, you need to
emphasize on the suit. The man just goes congratulations.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Because literally hundreds of people I can underst and Mass
being like, I'm gonna play it safe and I'm gonna
say it properly man, But.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Overall, Pacific music wars.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Here we go, Bro, here's to another twenty more years. Man.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Well done, Patrina. Hey, I know I talked about PMS
just not long ago, but please please, if we're gonna
start at seven o'clock, please make sure we're starting at
seven o'clock right, not this whole island time thing.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
Hey, it's not it's not a.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Pe meal without starting on island time. But bro, what
time did it start and what time did it finish?
I don't know what time I finished, but it literally
started after eight okay.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
And it was still going when you left in eleven.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Yeah, one hundred percent. I think it was still going maybe,
but even though it started a little bit late.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
But that's what it is. What it is, man.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
You got like people going, come on guys in the
horn now people are still waiting around in the foyer,
you know, come on the.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Thing and the Grammys where it's got the countdown for
how long this speech can be?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Oh? True, true true, ten, nine, eight, seven, six.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
All in time, baby, allen time.

Speaker 7 (11:10):
Remember the time.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
This is where we go back down memory lane and
we we unearthed, we dig up, we remember something that
was so big and so iconic at the time that
it just needs to be brought up again.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
This one. We're just going personal to be honest.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
No, remember the time that you wrote a song about
your wife Charlie.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
And General Fire ended up singing the song what.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Affection?

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Yeah, I had to.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I got to bring this up today because Stace isn't
hear h I always feel like I can be a little.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Bit like yeah, yeah, I knew it. So remember the
time when the General Fire sung the song I originally
wrote the song for with the help of General. You know,
we had no no listen.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
He hey, this is new information.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Okay, so no, because the lyrics were really.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Oh you read wrote the song for yes.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
And this is all because he showed up to the
recording studio just to see his dad and his uncles
like recording songs. That's that's what you do. You know,
you are a son of the musician. And as he's there,
he's singing along to the song with the producer, and
the producer thinks, actually, I see something.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
He would be better than you.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
So we had like a pizzas and some takeaways delivered
to the studio and we had our little break. After
the break, I was me to go lead a vocals
down for this track, but then we were interrupted by
the by the producer.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
He comes in.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
I've got something else, but this is it. I can
hear it, I could feel it, I can see it.
Charlie Jennialfier is going to sing. At that time, his
name wasn't even General Fire. This young man, it's going
to sing this song you know, you know what I
mean wrote and I was like, nah, you're having to go.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
I think that's amazing. He does have such a good voice.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I mean he was just performing a at a funeral
and soult la so random over in the US, what
like last week a few days ago. Yeah, and he's
he's got music that's on the way, doesn't So we'll
be releasing a lot of the songs.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
And do you think he'd evilly you sening lyrics he's written.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
I've always wondered that because he has, actually, to be honest,
you guys have written quite a few songs for General Fire.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Now he's an adult, I wonder if he would be
able to write me a song like you Return the Faver.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
When he gets to the age you were when you
wrote Love and a Fiction, which is how old were
you when you wrote that?

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I was twenty twenty nine.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
I think it was, Oh, you gotta You'll be an
old man by the time he reaches that vine.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Yeah, you're playing Arthro.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
See whatever states is away Man, stace A, Zorah, and Charlitte.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
We are being joined by CEO of the Cancer Society.

Speaker 8 (14:09):
Andrew Young, Morina Morena thanks for having me.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
This is a big day, a huge day for everyone
across Old Peror and you know, we feel really lucky
to have you to come in and I guess also
educate people that might still be unsure about the Cancer
Society and Defitial Day.

Speaker 8 (14:27):
Yeah, well, Kira, we've been working for months and months
for Deffitil Day. It's our biggest day of the year
and we need those funds to come through so we
can provide our huge our free services.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Well that's that's what we wanted to know, is you know,
in terms of the free services, what is it that
the Cancer Society can offer families and those affected by
cancer because you know, as you as you know, we're
raising a lot of money at the moment, and I'm
sure and I know that there's a lot that you
guys do behind the scenes.

Speaker 8 (14:55):
Yeah, So our big kind of mission is to ensure
no one faces cancer alone. So we've got a huge
array of services that are free to people to use,
and they can range from community nurses or come in
to your home to visit, to community navigators because it's
really complex going through the public health system, through to

(15:16):
volunteer drivers that can provide travel through the free accommodation
if you have to travel ages to get to treatment
in psychology and counseling services. We're also the biggest private
funder of cancer research, so we want to find cancer
as well.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
That's so awesome.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
My Nan gets that, you know, she gets the drive
from pukakohe up to Auckland Hospital when she has to
get her treatment for my loma. And she has just
joined a support group as well, which took her over
a year and a half to get rid of your
pride and go along to get their support and now
she loves it.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
She goes anyway, I can't talk God to God in
my group and I'm.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Like okay bye.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
So yeah, it's awesome to hear that.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
So Andrew, how's the Cancer Society different to other cancer
foundation or do you guys work together?

Speaker 8 (16:03):
We work together. We try and find collaborations. We were
collaborations my middle name. We're kind of like the mothership
of cancer charities. We've been around for almost one hundred years.
We're the most trusted cancer charity, but we're there to
offfy everyone. So every cancer any time, ye for everyone.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
I love that, and you know that's what we're trying
to do. That last push. Today it is daffit all day.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
We've teamed up with a n Z we you know,
everyone it seems is getting behind making this just extra
big and extra special.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
And we're still taking donations.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
By the way, you can text the word support to
two O six.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
That's two O.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Six and you make an instant three dollar donation.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
How incredible, Andrew Young.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
We really appreciate you coming in the studio and just
making sure people understand the Cancer Society and know how
they can first hand get amongst it. I mean, is
there anything else happening today that people can get amongst.

Speaker 8 (16:57):
Oh, look, there's a street appeal, there's giving online texted ownate. Look,
we're just out there and we want Kiwis to mobilize
behind this fight against cancer.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
So thank you good Andrew.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
This morning we talked about you know, the classic movies,
your all time favorite that you can watch over and
over again. The votes were put in Charlie myself in Stace,
we all put put a movie forward forget about our movies?
A Stace's well get about It one by a landslide.
It was the movie Watchecks.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
How did you know?

Speaker 2 (17:30):
How did you know?

Speaker 4 (17:32):
The song?

Speaker 7 (17:34):
All way down.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Stace knows like she's one of those ones that can
say most of the lines.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
And you know, honestly, she's so passionate when it came
to this movie. It was like I'm putting and putting
everything into this. She know, like this movie like lying
to be.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
I love it and so a lot of people. It's
the kind of movie that wouldn't be made today, and
it's kind of it's fun to watch, do you know
what I mean? And you know, it was Silky Order
in Taki that heard our pleads.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
They heard us and came in exactly.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
We were so passionate about getting a movie like White
Chicks on the big screen. I mean, it might be
the last time that movie ever goes on a movie screen,
do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (18:16):
When you think about it, because going back to what
you're seeing, they won't ever make another movie like this.
So if you've never seen the movie on the.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Big screen, yeah, this is for you.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
This is for you.

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Yeah, yeah, we want you to be there. It's going
to be Tuesday Theater September. So the Tuesday coming out
at Silky by the Way, brand new theater and fim.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Bogie Baby is if you want to be there.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Text ticks to eight to two double low. That will
give you a chance to win an invite for you
and a friend, and of course you'll get drinks and
also bottomless popcorn and a whole lot of laughs.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
We will be there as well.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
We're so excited and in preparation for that, Charlie is
about to attempt saying the scene of hold my poodle,
want some money?

Speaker 6 (19:00):
You got a problem?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
But you're looking at my ass for now? You hold
hold my poo?

Speaker 4 (19:05):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Y'all?

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Got a problem?

Speaker 4 (19:06):
You'll want some of this?

Speaker 2 (19:07):
You want some of this punk?

Speaker 6 (19:08):
What?

Speaker 3 (19:09):
What? Boy?

Speaker 4 (19:10):
I take the pow for you?

Speaker 3 (19:11):
All right, Charlie it is has he been practicing?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
You see? Has okay? I'll start off with the whistle?
You really?

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Okay? What's up?

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Money?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
You got a problem? What's your looking my mask? For?

Speaker 3 (19:27):
No?

Speaker 8 (19:27):
Yo?

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Hold my poodle? Hold my poodle?

Speaker 4 (19:30):
What's up? You got a problem?

Speaker 2 (19:31):
You want some of this? You want some of this punk?

Speaker 1 (19:34):
What? Boy?

Speaker 2 (19:35):
I take the broth of you? Oh?

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (19:37):
And see and.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Charlie hear a vein popping out the side of this.
But we wanted to say a big good luck to
a lot of students and and people that are competing
in the secondary schools tournament week.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
There's actually quite a few that kick off even this weekend.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
I know that the Golf Cup starts this weekend. I
think basketball, football, pretty much every single sport, rugby. I
didn't know that there was a big badminton championship also
beginning on Monday, Equestrian Curling Cup, the Rural Livestock Junior Rugby, Tennis,

(20:28):
Table Tennis Cup.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
It's more like a secondary school Olympics really, like literally,
like literally literally, So I'm pretty sure every single secondary
school kid will know someone, will have someone that is
going to be competing. You remember the times, like you
you'd go to tournaments and every there's somebody that's quite
good at some certain sport and you already know this person,
but they.

Speaker 4 (20:48):
Don't know you.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Like Johnny Johnny Puk, you know what I mean, Like
that was the one all the girls would crush on.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
So imagine all the all the talks and schools at
the moment this.

Speaker 4 (20:59):
Oh, we've got Blake from out in the office.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
You know, he admitted to us that when he went
to tournament week and Topaul he goes, it was all
on how was the ads on the snapchat walking around
the holiday came like, oh he has.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Any follows?

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Like for like, as you're with ZERI and Sally this
morning at sixteen past a and.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
We've got to take it to a place. We got
to take it there, take me there.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
We all know that as Father's Day this Sunday. And
you know, even though I'm a dad, proud dad by
the way, I just sit around and you know, hope
that my kids are going to remember this or you know,
do this or do that. I take a moment to
think about my dad and everything that he's done for me.
You know, it's about celebrating them and everything they have done, sacrifices,

(21:48):
the hard work, you know, the opportunities leaving Tom to
come here to New Zealand for a better opportunity for
his Tamachi, his children.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Do you do you as a true and I mean
obviously I have no kids, but do you appreciate your
parents more once you become a parent, as they.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Know what I've heard that saying before I was even
a dad.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
Yeah, yeah, well exactly.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Now I'm just like Bride, I didn't know how much
did you do it? How did you do it?

Speaker 4 (22:16):
Mommy, how did you do it?

Speaker 2 (22:18):
You know, honestly, I when my kids, well they're children
and they're going through life. When they play out, bro,
I'm like, bro, I'm sure I was worse than this,
and I don't know how my dad did. I don't
know how my dad got through life worth us playing up,
but you know we turned out Okay, I guess you
know so, Dad. This is a time where we get

(22:41):
to remember you guys, all our fathers and all our
fathers that are playing father figures. We love you guys,
We see you guys.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
Yeah, we're going to go with our dads a call.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
I know, I know we're going to have to do
it off here though from in case they say something rogue,
be back in like seven minutes. Happy, Happy Father's Day.
If you've got to shout out that you want to
make for your dad or your father figure in your life, that's.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
What we're here for.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Man. It is obviously Father's Day on Sunday, which met
us more for you, Charlie than myself.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Yeah, it's a bit of a shame for me.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
People don't realize, but my dad lives on the South Island.
So when these when a day like Father's Day comes up,
I'm always like, damn, and I'm going to be with
my little beastie, you know what I mean. Yeah, of
course you're going to be with your father and your kids,
which is actually a blessing in itself because not a
lot of people have that.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Yeah, and going back to what you're saying, it is
a blessing. And I'm grateful for that that my dad's
still around and we still get to spend time together.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
And I say this all the time.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
You know, even though I can actually drive to Autel
and see him, there are times that I'm.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
Just I do get a little bit lazy.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
But as days like this day sort of reminds you,
you know, Father's Day's moments that you get reminded just
spend as much time as you can with your.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Parents or your dad. And I mean, good on you
for admitting that that you could do better.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
You know, I think sat down, you get that weird
pang of of gil. I get it when I talk
to my nan on the phone. But anyways, anyways, we
did call our our father's off ear for just in
case they say something brogue. And this is do you
want to go first? Do you want me to go first.

Speaker 9 (24:22):
This is my dad, good morning.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
I was calling to say in early heavy Father's Day's Sunday.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yeah, baby, this is so beautiful, Yeah heavy Father's Day.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
And I just wanted to say that I love you,
and yeah, I'm really proud to say that you're my dad,
and not only that that me and you are literally
best friends.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
So that's amazing.

Speaker 9 (24:59):
My little hearts breaking.

Speaker 3 (25:00):

Speaker 5 (25:02):
I seen the number of like, oh, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
You know what, man, your your daughter speaks of you
all the time, like you you are her superhero.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
She loves you so much. And we know this, bro, there.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Is no set up, straight from the heart, and I
know it gets a little bit awkward talking like this,
but yes, she really loves you, bro, really does.

Speaker 10 (25:22):
Thank you so much. She loves loves the main thing
please love.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Is love you love you too, Deadbye bye, bubbs.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I know hear how many nicknames were within that one,
honey money, because I rhyme things all the time and
Charlie already calls me out. I know, I know it's
actually it's been passed down. Yeah, and Charlie, of course
he wrung his father that.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I know it's father's day on Sunday, but I just
wanted to ring you and say Happy Father's Day. It's early,
even though I'll see you on Sunday, but I just
want the whole world, the whole of New Zealand, to
know how lucky I am to have a dad like you.
You've always been there for us, you always looked after us,
you supported us with everything that we've done, and you're

(26:14):
counseling your advice even though we have our own kids.
You've been a big part of my life and your
awesome grandfather.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
We love you, Dad, are you? Thank you very much. Dad.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I'll see you on Sunday. I want to come to church, Okay, Dad, it's.

Speaker 8 (26:33):
A good news for me, a good presence.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Okay, love you, Love your dad.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Love you.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
You've been a part of my life. I got that
from myself actually your birthday.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
I just want to say thanks for being a part
of my life.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
I quite like how he didn't really say much until.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
You said you were going to be at church on
church part and he said, this is a good person,
this is good news.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
And going back to what I was, Amen, you got
to spend the most time, and my dad spend most
of his time at church.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
So that's who you'll find it.

Speaker 10 (27:05):

Actually was Yeah, so I can't pull out now.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
I'm out anyway.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
Goods for the week and I love it.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Oh my goodness, Sydney Keeley, there are two Explorer luggage
suitcases behind you. Sydney, there's only one and two left,
so you know what number one and three left?

Speaker 4 (30:04):
So what number are you? Are you feeling? Are you feeling?
Because there is a holiday inside each of those?

Speaker 9 (30:10):
I've got an inclined for number three.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
We have Sydney and your cousin Kelly's slash may as
well be sisters literally neighbors as well. Yeah, and they're
going to be going on it's a girl's trip, but
to where we don't know one of the Jetstar locations
for sure, Sydney. Are you feeling more of a winter
wonder escape or would you want something or does it
not matter?

Speaker 9 (30:34):
I would love a summer one, but I'm just grateful
for wherever we go.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah, because it's a mystery and you guys will definitely
be flying somewhere. What have you guys? Packed?

I don't know, like something's just like I'm not going far,
but it's gonna be somewhere amazing.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Really Queenstown, and you only want to see it in
the winter. May I add, like you know that is
the time.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
To go to Queens Stand. You guys are gonna lose
your mind.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
Oh the girls are going.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
How are you feeling? Said they I'm excited excited.

Speaker 9 (32:40):

Speaker 7 (32:51):

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Okay, oh my gosh, when do you get there? Gotta

list down for us. Yeah, well we will.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
Congratulations again to our ear Flavor now boarding winners, all
thanks to.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Jitster the girls.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
We are being joined by Manyah from the ac scene.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Good morning, Manaya.

Speaker 4 (33:25):
How's it all going the mayor? Not bad? Not bad?
So we're here to talk sports.

Speaker 10 (33:28):
Yeah, a lot of sport going on this weekend. Obviously
the Warriors play tomorrow night, but also the All Blacks
play overnight on Saturday, three in the morning. You guys
will be sitting your alarm for that one, surely.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
But yeah, my.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Partner diven't a hundred percent will be watching. When the
All Blacks were named it was six on the YouTube.
I also want the Razor also watched the Sam Caine
So I sick in hand?

Speaker 4 (33:55):
Have been?

Speaker 10 (33:56):
You've been dragged into it? Oh yeah, you'll get working up.
Three in the morning's not even wrning, like that's still
nighttime to me. I know it's it's brutal. Then it's
also going to be a brutal game.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
I don't know how. I don't know how A team
who lost to Argentina like three weeks ago then turns
around and goes over to South Africa and WinCE. You
know what I mean. It's going to be at.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Them there for a week, right to try and climatize them,
or so have heard.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
In a private facility, Yes.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
Very fat, but you are right.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
The South Africans, Oh, they love their rugby. Actually manyah,
we've we've actually got a clip from a secondary school
over in South Africa who created a chant against the
All Blacks ahead of this weekend's match.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
It's not a content, maniah, No, not a content.

Speaker 10 (34:52):
I can't imagine a school here in New Zealand doing that.
Just vibes, bro, Yeah it was.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
They take it to a whole new level in the
when it comes to chance and they're rug getting behind something.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
I can't I it's good and you know you can't.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Really it's pretty inaudible then the clip, but it says
like twenty twenty three we had the World Cup in
our hands, obles have no chance.

Speaker 4 (35:12):
It sort of sounds like the start of make yeah
right right? Oh is that.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Yeah like a late yes, yeah, yeah it is it
is mode yeaheah yeah right fro on the same page there.

Speaker 10 (35:23):
That's a huge vibe in favor of the spring box
st Unfortunately, when we need someone, some some school around
the country needs to shoot back, I reckon, you know.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
All we can do is just do o haka.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Yeah, that's a good point in return.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
Not gonna lie. It goes pretty hard.

Speaker 10 (35:39):
Yeah yeah, but I think the look I was gonna say,
the biggest game of the weekend, it's the Warriors send off.
It's the last games tomorrow nine thirty five. We're playing
against the Sharks, and that is the team who they
are in I think the fifth and the the fourth
at the moment on the table, so they've got a
lot to play for. I'm gonna be honest, we don't.

(36:00):
So I'm not going to sit in here and tell
you that I feel like the Warriors are going to win.
But what I do think is Vanoah Blake. He's leaving
at the end of the season. Where's he going. He's
going to the Sharks. So this is almost like an
audition for and also got through the audio, I know,
but like showing that coach and the other team like, hey,
this is what you're paying for, this is the kind
of play you're going to get.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
And then there might be a guy.

Speaker 10 (36:19):
Or two on the other team who might just be like,
you know, if he's running at you and the game
has already decided, you might like, oh, I got stepped.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Sorry, we should call it back in back in the
days and mostly rule when you know team's fresh and
you coach late boys, give them a try. You know
him through, Let him through.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
I do I do want to ask you, though, man,
because obviously you work for the a c C.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
You also have a podcast that does all things sports.
Gender Podcast available. We're all good podcasts is sold. There
you go is gender podcast.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
I do want to know what you thought about the
Bunker's decision to not to send Stephen off the field.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
I don't under shouldered Roger to Vasusk last game.

Speaker 10 (37:06):
I don't understand how a player can get hit in
the head and have to go from the field, but
no one gets penalized for hitting him in the head.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
That's the only way that it could have happened.

Speaker 10 (37:15):
But then all they do is they come out the
next week and go, sorry, yeah, we missed it. They
came out and said of the five bennable offenses for
that over the weekend, they got four of them and
the one they missed was RTS, so that's his season over. Also,
he's going to deal with the head knock and for
some reason, and all they do is just come out
and apologize.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
You're actually right, And I don't even care if I'm
being opinionated. It's actually not good enough. It's almost like, brother,
we're all seeing the replay with you. We have a
TV too, We're being gas lit by the bunker.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
I'm like, are we all watching the same thing?

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Like, I'm not even a rugby league expert, and there
is no rubbish way I would have not sent someone
off the field.

Speaker 10 (37:55):
No, well maybe we should put you in the bunker.
May as well, brother, I think to solve the consistency,
they should have the same dude across the whole weekend.
If I can watch every game across the weekend and
Occet paid for it, surely you can put someone in
the bunker who just does every single game the whole
way through.

Speaker 4 (38:09):
It's a good point. Actually, yeah, why is it a
different person every single time I'm watching all the games?

Speaker 2 (38:14):
They sent the money as well?

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Yeah that's right.

Speaker 10 (38:16):
But anyway, I was going to say my hunch at
the tab you can join the TB right now get
up to one hundred dollars in bonus cash with their
four hundred percent deposit matchupic. Obviously, obviously there's t's and
c's gamble responsibly, rot and all that sort of stuff.
But my hunch this week is AFB anytime try scorer
that's at around four dollars, So I think that's I
think that's juicy for four dollars.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
Hey, you're the one the host their gender podcast. Brother,
we trust you.

Speaker 10 (38:41):
Yeah, well you shouldn't because we are down real bad
on the Gender Podcast. But if you want to win
one hundred dollar bonus cash bed with the tab's got
one to give away, you can text TRB to what's
your number?

Speaker 4 (38:51):
Eighteen two double o baby, that's right.

Speaker 10 (38:54):
Texted and now you could win yourself one hundred dollars
bonus cash from the TAIRB Texan follow along responsibly by
the way.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
He's I've got to throw those teas and so don't
come crying to us next week when in like didn't score.
But I don't think you will send it to the bunker.
We'll send it to the bunker.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
And before we get on up and get out of here,
we need to say goodbye to our ear Flavor now
Boarding thanks to Jet Start winners.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Okay, Sydney and Kiley, our Ear Flavor now Boarding winners winning.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
Your trip to Queenstown. You guys are about to leave.

Speaker 7 (39:26):

Speaker 2 (39:31):
We want to say to you guys get out here?

Speaker 3 (39:35):

Speaker 4 (39:40):
You better get that right? Five to two? Okay, Okay,
live it up, ladies. We're not going to hold you up.
