Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Flavor podcast Network.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
You're listening to Stac and Sarah and Charlie's off the record.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
What's your record? Off the record?
Speaker 3 (00:12):
But Jes Stace and Charlie off the record as there
is not here, probably back tomorrow. So the other day, Charlie,
I'm in the wahouse and I'm getting driven around by
my daughter and by the way, she's on her l plate. Nice.
I don't know the people who actually treat lunar drivers
better or worse.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
More like, you know, they make things a lot easier
for them.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
You know. No, they don't though what they don't know?
They just get who really quickly. So anyway, there's another story.
But she's done well. She got her park eventually, and
I went into the wheat house and then as I'm
coming out, the guy who works at the door. I
think that means he's the manager. He said, well done
with Charlie. Stace, keep on going. Well, good work with Charlie.
(00:58):
What do you take that to me? What does he
mean by that?
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I think it's because maybe I come across as a
naughty boy, you know what I mean. So it's like,
finally somebody who's able to tame somebody who's just quite
you know, all over the place. You know, I'm guessing
that's what it is because I got the same comment.
It's not the same comment like like well done on
Charlie Sta.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Charlie.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
But it was just a guy that his name is Peter,
and you know, he just gave so much great words.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
And I'm not lying. Where were you at?
Speaker 2 (01:30):
I was at Countdown and sorry at Woolworst and Monaco.
But like I get this quite often to a point
where I'm like, far out this is. It brings joy
to my heart, like when people are giving me these compliments.
And I never say this like to try and make
out like that we are the best or what.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
But it's just like when people take the time to
say something quite hat.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Found it is and it makes me feel grateful for
the work that we do, like that we could put
a smile or make somebody feel good, whether it's like
one person or a thousand people, it just makes me
feel that much better. But the guy goes to me
far out, man, Now, you guys got a good chemistry.
I used to follow Stace everywhere, like with all the
radio stations that she's worked at, and honestly, man, it's
(02:13):
good that she's come back and really teaching you in a.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Zori, that's what he was saying, and both.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
But it's cool and it's funny how there are different
people that have a different outlook on how they hear and.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
See things with us, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
So it's like, obviously Azara and I are the younger ones,
and you're always teaching us if we're out of place
with our with our real or with what our English
words were always corrected, and you know what, and this
is what he said to me. It's it really gives
a family vibe, you know what I say. When he listens,
it's it's like he's just listening to a family like
a reality show. I was like, oh, that's pretty cool.
(02:51):
But then he said the same thing, man, just like,
you know, keep up the good work and just always
make sure you listen to Stace because.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
You're a bit more you're a bit more comfortable with
us now, Like how long do you think it took
you to feel more comfortable with me and Azerra?
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Man?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
A long time because I don't just ease into things,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
And and you've got actually for me, what I've noticed
is you've got like cultural lines of it of respect
not so much for A zero.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, of.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Course of course, because I mean Zoro and I it's
it's pretty little little siblings. And what really opened things
up for me in A zero is that, like I
felt that she could tell me almost anything and.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
For me it tells you too much.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, And for me.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
To accept that, I need to put aside this whole
cultural hand that I'm wearing and just understand where she's
coming from and accept all of that. So that now
that we have that relationship, it's I feel that we
all have it, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
But yeah, it's a little bit different.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
But see, that's the things that people are saying to me,
is that.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
That's what they hear and feel.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
So obviously when we're on the station, we're selling it feel,
you know, and that's the feel that people are getting. Yeah,
and a good vibe as well, and it's just awesome.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
But that's the thing I noticed with you and Israa
Now she because our girl. She does love to give
details like very much, yeah, and lots of things about
her gut about all sorts of stuff, which is who
blessed her because she's got such a good heart. But yeah,
it is nice to find that place. And like you say,
it's it's not about big numbers, nah, because I care
about every single person that's having a good experience here.
(04:23):
So you might count people by numbers. I don't. I
count it by quality and what it means to me
by I had what he met the pink ribbon walked yesterday.
Say Okay, so I listen to you guys every day
now like I found you, and they're like, Okay, that's
me and that's us and that's what matters and we
love all of you. And yeah, I'm not always telling
(04:43):
your office just sometimes it's not that.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
I say. I made that clear to Peter and he
knows that too and goes, it's how Island wagh. My
brother is how Island way, and I'm like, I love that.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
It's all thanks for listening to stay a, Zara and
Charlie's off the record. Catch them Live Everywhere eight from
six am on Flavor
