Welcome to off the Record with Stace and Azer. Will
you talk about things here? Because well this one really
should have gone here. So on Saturday, a lunch tuned
into a few cocktails, turn into a teddoo parlor, turned
into a beg night and having to go home early.

So it wasn't earlier, it was late because when you started,
when you.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Just start, started at eleven thirty.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
And went home at ten. Yeah, so it's not actually early.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
I know early for me though.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
But something happened during our escapade, me and my best friend.
So we went to a bar while waiting for the
teddo guy to be free for us. And at the
spot we walk and we see a guy from my
high school that we haven't seen in a decade, like
this has been a decade. And it's always really weird
when you see and one that you you know, you

knew him quite well in high school and you see
them like, holy heck, you know that's you.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
You're that person? Tell me why.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
It wasn't until about thirty forty minutes that we were
all sitting around.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
We all had a drink together and stuff. He works
at the bar by the way.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
And then I clicked that I have kissed him. And
we actually used to talk. This is like high school days,
you know, so it was it was all very kosh.
That's as far as it went. But I don't like
it when the penny.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Drops you go, oh, that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Me and you had a moment there because we did.
We used to talk or you know, text as well,
what used to be yes, and we did kiss, and
I like, obviously I always act pretty normal and friendly
to everyone. And I wonder whether he just knew straight
away when he saw me. I probably so he didn't
bring it out. We didn't say that's right, remember no, no, no,

why not because.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
That I forgot that that even happened.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
And so remember, well thirty minutes into the convo, thirty
forty minutes into like hanging out with him.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
But then you didn't say anything, and no onegnows.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
No, I don't think. I don't think my best mate
remembered either. I want to see would have been about
sixteen for fat are your best mate though? If you
don't bring up awkward things like that, I'm glad she
didn't because it just really that just really didn't have
to happen. And then, weirdly enough, he told us that
there was actually going to be like a mini reunion

through some of the people that went to a high school.
Just it's a group of friends. But we knew then,
you know, you sort of all hang out in the
same sort of crowds. Not you know, my group, but
a group I did associate with time to time at
parties and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
And he said that they were.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Having a reunion at that bar that night, and he said, oh,
you know, you guys should come through, and I don't
know why, we were just like yeah, but then we
walked down like no, no, because it already felt quite
like whoa seeing him. I don't know about this whole
reunion thing. And he more, you know how I really
wanted to do the high school reunion.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Now I'm kind of like, I don't know, were they
having theirs that night? Yeah? Ah?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And like what is the odds say?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
The universe is a funny thing for us to quite
literally randomly pick this place while waiting and biding our
time to seeing him, and then finding out that they're
all getting together for the first time and years and
years and years and years that.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Night, All right, that is the first time.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
That's interesting, Although is there a you do tend to
go like, what are the chances? Your idea about getting
your tattoo was what are the chances of us being
in about opposite a tattoo parlor, which means obviously we
had to get a tattoo.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What are the.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Chances, what are the chances, what is impacting the chances
of that happening? Your behavior sobriety, Yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Have no regree. It was the funnest state ever interest me.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I'm like, I'm not going to go out there and
promote like drinking, but they're getting tattoos.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, definitely not.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
But I will say, if you are someone that does drink,
trust me, go to lunch, have a few cocktails, go
shop because let me tell you, that shit.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Looks so good on you.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Oh my gosh, it's how much he's been.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Oh I only spent one hundred and twenty dollars.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
And we went into like the there's a lot of
op shops up on Pontserby Road, and like design and
boutiques and da da da da.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
So it was great.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
It was like so much fun and it's so much
more like WHOA when you're just a little bit tipsy
and then you're vibing in there and.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Then you get a tattoo.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
I just you are my prediction as you're playing it
down now, it's Lead's Chicken in the Month.
