Speaker 1 (00:03):
Some may not want to hear what you have to say,
but we do.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Fifty five KRC the talk station.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
All right back at it.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
We go thirty three minutes af to the top of
the air as I talked about mold and allergens and
things that are byproducts of floods, that we should address
those items, from smells to getting rid of molds. You know,
mold spores are everywhere, literally, and there's mold in my
(00:32):
yard now because some of the grassest dis turned blacked.
I asked Ron, what is that looks like mold? It
is so inside our homes. Molds bad news though. So
we have Deb Marshes with Odorexit. You've heard Deb on
the show before and Deb welcome again at Home with
Gary Salvin.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Good morning, Gary, thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
You're quite welcome. So, boy, all the floods and what
a disaster in the Carolina Mountains. But other people, you know,
I say, you know, there's no such thing as a
little flood. If your basement floods, or you get water
in your house, even as a leaky roof, that's a disaster.
That's a major because it's your house. And I know
(01:14):
you've got a lot of products to help not only
with the odors that water will cause, but also mold.
Maybe you could take us through.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
That, Okay, sure, Yeah. I walked outside the last couple
of days and I can smell mold in the air
just just walking outside. It was amazing all the water
we had. So when water does get in your basement
just a little bit or a lot, we have a
product called Mom's. It stands for mold, Odor, mildew, smoke Good,
(01:46):
and it actually creates a chlorine dioxide gas. When you
put this little packet into water, turns the water yellow.
It's safe. You can spray it on your hands and stuff,
but you've had customers spray it for water weeks in
their basement, even sump pump backups, and what it does
(02:08):
is stop that water from turn into mold. It's really
kind of amazing thing. And put a fan on and
dry it. There never gets that moldy smell. If it's
too late and you've already got some musty smells or
mold growing on things, even a leather jacket, you can
(02:30):
spray the same product on those items and it will
stop that mold. It won't grow anymore, it won't create
any more spores. Eventually you can just kind of knock
it off and it won't leave mostly it won't leave marks,
but you can in the flood. I've got a couple
(02:50):
of customers listeners down in Florida who are spraying the
things they're able to savage out of their house. Is
one lady had four feet of water in her house,
but all receded. But then they told her, well, got
salt water in it, throw it away. Well, no, don't
throw that away. Spray thiss Moms on there. It will
(03:12):
stop that mold from growing. You can wipe it off
and save those items. Books are going to be tougher
to save if the pages got well inside, but for
hardback books that just the ex terrier's wet or got
mold on it, you can save those. I mean, it's
just sentimental items. You don't need to throw them away.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Right, And mold spores are everywhere. They're indoors are outdoors,
there's mold spores. But when you add water to organic material,
colonies begin to grow and produce molds more spores. So
the Mom's product not only eliminates the spores in the air,
also you can use it as a cleaning materials. What
(03:57):
you're saying, then correct.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Correct, And the one for the air, we have a
similar product called AQM Air Quality Manager that instead of
putting the packet into water this gas, you put it
out in the room behind a fan and that gas
will circulate in the air and it will get rid
of the spores in the air and on the surfaces.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Dioxide also. Yes, so this is safe. You could actually
do that and stay in the house.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Correct, that's correct, that's correct. It oxidizes like an ozone machine.
But an ozone machine, you're right, you can't be in
the house in the area while that's working. It will
damage eyes and plastic. And so the AQM you can
be in that room while it's working. You just keep
(04:52):
a fan going. Gas is heavier in air without that
fan moving it and sit on the floor and not
be any good. So just it's like you pour cream
into your coffee and the glass cup and you can
see how it mixes slowly into the black and it's
not black coffee anymore. It's kind of what the gas
in the air is doing. And you just got to
(05:14):
keep it circulating and moving throughout to get all the
spores and where those spores have floated in the air,
inside a lamp shade, inside a fan or light fixture
on the ceiling. You know, those spores are everywhere. We
can't see them. Something we can see them when that
sunshine comes through the window and you see the flex
(05:37):
and that that sunshine. That's what this AQM, the gas
is going after to stop those things, to help you
breathe better, to get rid of that musty smell. Going
back to the mons or the months for a second.
You can spray that on your drapes because those spores
(05:57):
are landing there invisible to you, and you spray your drapes, couches,
and that will get rid of those mold spores even
in the non flooding season, allergens that are on there.
I have a dog and a cat and they shed
(06:17):
and do allergenic things that we don't like to breathe
all the time. So I spray, and I have a
lot of listeners who do that too, Spray their couches,
spray their drapes, just to keep that air being much
cleaner and eat better to breathe for you.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Yeah, I know when you say the word gas, there's
probably people going like, huh, I'm we'll put gas in
my house. But folks, I got to tell you you
might have a hint of a smell of chlorine. You
may not even notice that, but I know it's just
a hint of a smell of chlorine. Just so you
know what to expect and the odor exit products that
Deb's talking about, the AQM and the moms.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
This doesn't mascoder.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
This actually eliminates the old spores and eliminates the odors,
which is very important to.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Absolutely. A dog urinates on the floor. We don't we
don't like it. We want to train them. It smells bad.
You don't want to be breathing that kind of thing.
The spores that you breathe from this water get in
your lungs and they can make your health not not good.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Right.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
I've had people who have gotten rid of aches and
pains in their knees and stuff once they stop stop
the water first. But they had leaky hot water pipes
in their basement. They finally got the water pipes fixed, well,
they were leaking on a pile of clothes, so they
had to get rid of all the wet clothes and
(07:46):
dry up the basement. Spray. The moms use the a
q M and the pain in their knees went away.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Exactly, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
We need mold because it has a purpose in eating
our leaves and putting nutrients back into our lives. But
too like too many bananas, too much, too.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Much is not always good.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
You've been over ex has been around now twenty five years,
and I know people always want to know about you know,
how long you've been doing things, And like I said,
twenty five years, been successful, very unique product. The reviews
you get are really awesome and I know you're proud
of them and absolutely yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
I mean that's the key. It works and it's easy
to use.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Now, that's why we keep doing this. Right, we'll call
and say it worked. Yeah, that's what you said. It's
the one that really works. Right.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
It's not masking anything, it's taking care of the problem. Now,
we talked about the moms in the AQM. I you know,
those are big problems when you're using those, but their
solutions to those problems. And then there's you know, smaller
problems that are more aggravating problems, such as you know,
a stinky sports bag, burnt popcorn, we just fried some fish,
(09:10):
and you've got a product called Magic, and there's a
little spray bottle right underneath my sink. I always hit
the trash can area in the sink probably once a
week for some reason. It gets a little smelly and
I hit it with that. Tell me about the Magic.
That's an all purpose cleaner.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Yeah, it's you spray it in the air. You can
spray it on surfaces and it absorbs that odor. So
what you're spraying under the sink, it's absorbing that decaying
trash smell. You don't have to spray it directly on there.
It's just kind of getting going after those smells in
the air. If you cook fish dinner last night and
(09:55):
then this morning you get up and you smell like
your fish dinner, only old fish. The Magic will absorb
that smell. It's kind of sprayed around the stove wherever
you cooked, going to absorb that odor and and it
will come back. People who smoke cigarettes, you know, they
have that lingering smell. They can kind of sprint themselves
(10:18):
with the Magic. It absorbs that smell. It's not got
to perfume. Nobody's going to think you just douched yourself
in some expensive perfume. It just absorbs that smell and
doesn't leave any smell of its own. It's water and
essential oil, so it's really safe too. The other thing
you can do with it is spray your hands and
(10:40):
pet your dog. It will keep down that dog body odor.
Spray the bed or couch where he lays, it'll get
rid of that body odor.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
So it's it's so it sounds like, yeah, it sounds
like you've got a product for any odors in your home,
whether it's the Mom's, the AQN, the Eliminator for pets
and urine and things like that, and then the Magic
we just talked about.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Now, I know you do customer service top notch.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
If people have questions, they can also get a hold
of you Dodor Exit, and I know you have a
special going on right now.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Also we do.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
We have twenty percent off on our four main products,
the Moms, the AQM, the Magic, and our eliminator or
the eliminator concentrate and something else. The eliminator the concentrate
is good for is if your clothes did get wet
in this storm, you can wash them with a ounce
(11:41):
of the concentrate and with your regular detergent and it
will get rid of that musty smell. So again, don't
be throwing out clothes. You can save those two. I
just add the concentrate to the low laundry. So but
they're all twenty percent off starting today, your listeners. And
of course we wanted to do something special for our
(12:05):
storm victims. I don't know that that's enough. It can
never be enough for what they're saying.
