Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, the weekend's upon us. Welcome at home with Gary
Sullivan and talking a little home improvement. Thanks for joining me,
and thank you very much for Tom and LB who
have been holding on. I appreciate it. I hope you
enjoyed the conversation with the disch Codings. I think there'll
be a lot of folks interested in that particular project.

(00:47):
So we thank Peter Dish and to the phones we go.
We got who's first, LB, LB Welcome?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Ah, good morning Gary. Yes, I've used the dich Codings
in the past and it worked out really even the use.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
But yeah, it's good stuff and I love I love
that spreadstone. I mean that's that's good stuff or spread rock.
I get a mixed up spreadstones for the countertops, but
it can be used either way to spread rocks. Good stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yes, come on. My question is I'm going to redo
my deck the previous owners looks like it was a
solid stained deck and I've been here about two years.
I'm going on three years actually, and it's time for
it to be Redone. I need to reduce some stair treads,
but a lot of the stain deck stained strippers. It

(01:40):
doesn't look like just according to the directions, it seems
like they're more for the semi transparent. I'm trying to
find a good one, I guess for it to remove
solid stain because I want to remove the color so
I can change it.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah. Yeah, uh, well, tell me about the solid color
stain that's on there, because I'm not really positive you
have to remove it. Is it warmering.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Some of it?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
It's starting to peel in certain areas of it. You know,
it's it's okay. I've replaced some boards last summer, but
I'd never restained them. I just because I know I
was going to do it all at once, but I
want to make sure I get it done this year.
But there are some areas where I can see it
starting to peel.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Okay, Okay, Yeah, when it peels, it's another story. But
the solid color staying kind of functions like a paint,
So you know, every time you paint, you don't have
to strip the old paint off, But if it's peeling
and you know adhesion is a problem, then you do
have to strip it off. So yeah, I would say
probably a product like smart strip would be a product

(02:51):
that you could use on the deck strippers. And that's
a real good question. I'm not so sure I've been
asked that before. Does it say you cannot use it
on a solid color stain?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It does not, but it seems to tout more for
semi transparent. You know, they both the transparent side of
it and not necessarily the solid stain side of it.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
You know what's really interesting about that when you think
about basic paint stripper will strip coatings, but it won't
strip stain.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Oh yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, you know. So, yeah, that's why I'm going it's
kind of like backwards. That's why I was wondering, Like,
I know people want to use the stripper to remove
the semi transparent stains, but I don't know why it
wouldn't work on the solid color stain. You might, you know,
because that's it's going to be a bunch of work
no matter what you do, right, So I would encourage you,

(03:51):
and I wish I had a quick answer for you.
I think I would go to that next step and
either call the manufacture of that or go to their
website and see if there's any additional information about removing
solid color stains, and again if they say no, it's
a semi transparent there's a product called smart Strip. It's

(04:14):
an environmentally friendly stripper. They make three really awesome strippers.
They make one that will remove like fifteen coats of
paint and lead based paint's been around for years called
peel Away. They make a smart Strip Pro. They make
a smart strip and it's interesting. They have a I

(04:36):
think it's a ten dollars test kit where you can
test to see which one is going to be most
effective because it depends what is in those particular coatings
that's going to be removable. But if this is a
relatively new coding, I'm guessing the smart strip, just the

(04:58):
Smart strip would be the one to use. But you
can get Sherman Williams if if you want to go
that route. But it's a project, so you know, standing
it might be an area where too, where it's peeling,
it might be able to I hate to have you
just put, you know, do the solid color stain over
the whole thing of it's peeling in one place, it

(05:19):
might peel on another and you don't need that headache.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Right.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Uh, yesterday I heard you mentioned that there's kind of
like a hybrid only between oil based.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah, it's a modified oil. Yeah, and again Williams does
have that.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Okay, is it better to do that because I was
thinking of going oil based just with the longevity of it.
But you know, I know that.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
So so here's the deal. The you know, I don't
know if it's really about the longevity, it's it's this
is a issue also, So a late tex solid color
stain has the best resistance to ultraviolet rays, which causes
it to fade and look old, but it also is

(06:13):
the least effective of penetrating and biting onto the wood.
The oil base does a better job of biting onto
the wood and not peeling, but is more apt to fade.
But give you you know, so thecreally gives you the
ultimate protection, but it doesn't penetrate as well. So it's

(06:35):
it's prone to peeling unless we That's when I'm always
talking about using the deck brightener, the oxalic acid deck brightener.
It opens up the boords of the wood to get
the latex to penetrate in and bite into. It's another
step you wouldn't have to use if you use the
deck stripper. It's I remember when this was so easy.

(06:56):
But using the modified oil solid color stain, it's a
blend of acrylics and oil. I think that's the best
of both worlds.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Okay, I'll try that.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
All right, very good, Thank you for holding I appreciate it, right,
take care, bye bye? All right, Tom, welcome, Yes, scary, yes, sir.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Well, oh hey, I got a quick question for you.
I'm at the point where I'm trying to decide about
sighting the home or painting. And Okay, this home here
that I'm in, I was built back in the mid
to late fifties and it was sighted okay at the time.
Of course, you know over age and you know, paint
chalks and all that. So what I'm trying to make

(07:47):
the decision is to go, you know, maybe paint this
place or go with some new sighting. And that brings
up the question whether i'd want to go change it
over to vinyl or not. Now, you know, for cost,
you know whatever in the cost of it. But what
is the best now sighting that you're seeing on the market.

(08:07):
And I haven't done a lot of checking around here
that's best for you know, fade or EEL or chip.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
I'll tell you, what do you recommend? Yeah, I would
say probably my favorite probably still be the LP sighting.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
LP.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeah, it's got a twenty five year warranty. It's comes
in different designs. It's it's really resistant to damage to
i mean hail or anything along those lines. Is just
that's probably my favorite right now.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
It's called smart is impregnant.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I'm sorry, it's called smart side.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Okay, all right? How is it as far as fading,
you know, with the UV and all that, it's got
very very good.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
It's very good, it really is. And it has a
twenty five year warranty on the finish.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
That's good. Yeah. Yeah, So yeah, it's like something to
look into.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
It is, you know, if you're going to be in
that home for a while, that would be a real
good option.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Right, yeah, well we'll look into that.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah. I'd give you a couple of things too, just
to kind of think about too. Painting fine, i mean
the quality of paints nowaday are are excellent. I'd take
a look at the Sherman Williams Emerald paint does a
very good job. Also, the product called Rhino Shield you

(09:42):
may have heard that talked about, is professionally applied. It
has a film, it's not pain, it's a coating. It's
about ten mills thick and it's an insulating product. Also,
we have an intervi view on as a podcast if
you want to just take a listen to it if

(10:04):
that interests you. It's going to be about the price
I would say of probably doing vinyl. Sighting comes with
a twenty five year warranty. So if you go to
the get the iHeart app and just click a little
magnifying glass put at home with Gary Sullivan. We did

(10:26):
this interview yesterday, Danny posted it this morning. So it's
called Rhino Shield and you'll be able to take a
listen to all the pros and how it's made and
different things like that. I think that would be an
option also, so you know, you got the LP siding,
which would be a great, great choice, probably be the

(10:47):
most expensive. Then you got the Rhino shield that would
be less than the LP siding, more than paint, and
then you got paint.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Uh, there's some options to look at then.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, there is. There is. And to be
real honest with you, even though that sightings old, I
think either way you go on those you won't be
sad that you picked one. They'll all do a good
job for you. There's just some that offer you know
a little bit more benefits than the other. But yeah,

(11:23):
take a look at it and you know, make a
good informed decision.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Right. Another question I have and it's in regard to
sink stains in Portland. Sink uh right around where your
sinks trainer goes in around your metal piece. You know,
it goes in and you got your sinks trainer goes
inside of that. How it builds up you get some
mind builders. Okay, I've cleaned these several times. Of course,

(11:48):
we've got real hard water in my area, and I've
used COLR, I've used com of course, comic cleanser, I've
used vinegar. I've used everything, and I finally got more
of all the heavy line stuff off there. But there's
one spot where there's just about a racer head size
where it comes back with a rusting. Now, I've tried

(12:11):
a lot of different things on that. I've tried the works,
you know, the toilet bowl cleaner. I've used it, which
seems to be better than the CLR. And then I've
also used a mixture of say like comic cleanser, Barkeeper's
Friends mixed with that in scrubbit rogain. It might last
maybe four or five days and it bleeds right back there.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Yeah, it's probably rusting from underneath.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
So I did look underneath. You said I couldn't see anything.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Really well, I'll tell you if I was going to
recommend the product after you've tried everything else, I'd recommend
that Jaws Cream cleanser. You got to get it online.
It's Jaws cleans dot com and it's their cream cleanser
and use that now. I know that it'll take that up.

(13:00):
I just don't know what's going on underneath. And that's
why I was a little concerned about rustling.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Right, Yeah, because it could go deep.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Yeah, I understand you give that a try, Tom, I
will do that.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Hey, And I was going to ask you what part
of Cincinnati are you in out there that you're.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
You're right, Nick Kenwood Towers there, so are you? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
I grew up out in the Milford area.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh okay, well that's pretty close, but that's where we
broadcast from. All right, Tom, thank you much for the car.

Speaker 6 (16:31):
Quick question. I have a trailer, which wasn't my choice,
but I have a trailer that has a lot of
water damage moisture damage underneath because they never put down
a moisture barrier. So over the years, my floors have buckled,
councaves and all that. I have a friend that has
fixed them, but the situation keeps going on. So I

(16:54):
actually paid somebody to run dreams under there. It didn't
really help much. But my question to you is a
couple of weeks ago you suggested a product called Conchrobium
where you throw it under there and it could just
set it off and it should help with the mold.
But I want to rescue with twenty six cats and

(17:14):
dogs in the house, so I'm curious how that would
affect them.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Well, So the concrobium is a foger, So if if
underneath this trailer, is it just skirting or is it
like a cross space beneath that.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
No, it's got that skirting, which is also over the
couple of years, like some of it has been moved,
so it's not as tight as it should be, but
the problems have been going on for for I've been
here twelve years. The problem's been going on.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
So I guess my point is, I'm not so sure
that fogger would really work with it just skirting around.
It's more for an enclosed area that you can't get to, so,
you know, I think what you need is something that
you can get in there and literally spray on there.
There is a Wet and Forget has an interior one.

(18:10):
It's actually got the word bathroom on it. But it's
a cleaner and mold eliminator product which could be sprayed
on there and you don't have to scrub it.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
Why can't use that for the bathroom? I thought of that,
But my question is about the wood underneath, because it.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Doesn't have to be a bathroom. That's what I'm saying.
That's just a lot of people have molded bathrooms. But
it's a it's a mold eliminator made by Wet and Forget.
It's a cleaner mold eliminator, so you know, it's a
farmer just isn't going to work. It's it's just not
going to be condensed into that area. You got to
get under there and actually spray and make contact with

(18:51):
that mold to eliminate it. They just relabeled it. That's
why I'm kind of stammering on exactly what that name
is actually called. And I'll look it up here during
the break. But it's it is a it is a cleaner.
Here it is we and forget mold and mildew cleaner.

(19:12):
And it says for bathrooms. But you could use it
anything where you know it's it's You could use it
anywhere you use outside. You can use it inside and
it would be fine. It wouldn't be a foger, so'd
be safe with the pets and stuff. All right, very good,
Uh huh, you bet my bye. All right, we'll take

All right, well, we'll run out of time on this weekend.
If you've been trying to get through, well, that would
be a great time. We've got open lines. If you've
got a question regarding your home maintenance or repair, feel
free to jump on board. It's eight hundred A two
three A two five five. A couple of things I
want to talk about because on the sh all the house,

(23:00):
we spend a little bit time really focusing on the
inside today. But one of the things that's going on
on the outside, and we're not going to talk about,
you know, foundation leaking. Well we might because that's a
big problem this time of year. But also what's a
big problem maybe not right at this moment, but over
the next probably four to six weeks, is animals trying

(23:24):
to get into your attic. And it goes on three
sixty five, It really does. It is not seasonal, but
usually when they start, you know, nesting, having their young,
they love to get inside the attic. They love to
get inside your house. In fact, everything's trying to get

(23:46):
in your house. Ants are trying to get in your house.
I mean, stink bugs they're trying to get out of
your house. But mice are always trying to get in
your house. But wildlife really has become over the years,
I think, more and more prevalent, and I'm not really
sure why that is, I've never really been able to

(24:08):
zero it. Maybe we're just focused on getting it out
when we hear it, and you can hear it. So
if you start hearing clamoring in your attic, it's probably
a squirrel or raccoon. Something is in that attic. And
when you're checking out the xchier of your house, the envelope.

(24:29):
We've talked a lot about keeping that envelope of your
home sealed up the best you can. We've talked about
replacing door sweeps, garage, door weather strip and keep mice out. Okay,
make sure the doors are tight. The threshold's doing his job.
When we talk about ants and bugs and things like that,
I always say, you know, look where there's penetration, e

(24:50):
vent coming out, a gas pipe going into the house,
wires going into the house, anything where that envelope was broken, Well,
is that cocked tight and not going to allow insects in? Well.
The same holds true with wildlife paying attention to how

(25:13):
they're getting in the house, and they're going to get
in the house in a couple of ways at gable
vents on the side. That's one way, breaking the wood slats,
tearing the screen and getting into the house. Squirrels especially
also the ridge vent literally getting their claws in here

(25:35):
and tearing that up. If you see a lot of
squirrel activity on the top of the house, that may
be going on. And then as you get down lower,
you have by the gutters, the facia board, the soffot
which is underneath, so that you got the gutter, and
then you got the facia board which is the facing board,

(25:56):
and then underneath you got the soft it soft it
has vents in it to increase the ventilation. Especially if
you have a ridge vent. It's bringing the air in,
it's pushing the real hot air out, and sometimes those
vents underneath the sopha can be compromised. Again, squirrels are
great at that, Raccoons are great at pulling those vents down.

(26:17):
But also you know the where the where the face
aboards meet at a corner, there's usually a miter cup
cut there forty five degree and it just kind of
you know, makes your turn or around the corner of
the house. And if it's not checked on a you know,

(26:41):
annual basis UH and what you're checking for separation. As
the wood dries out and the miter cut becomes exposed,
and more water gets in there and expands and maybe
creates some rot and and that gap gets bigger. You're
you're you're creating a little bit of an opening where

(27:02):
an animal can really literally just pull that soffet back
and get into your attic. And you know that gets
it's not so difficult. Well, it's not so crazy expensive
to get the animal out of your attic. It's the
damage that they do when they're in the attic. In

(27:24):
a lot of cases, it's not something I recommend you tackle.
And you get a you know, not so friendly raccoon
up in your attic, you get in corner, you're going
to run into some problems. But you know, if they're
up there nesting, and you know, you've got basically a
bedroom and a bathroom and insulations, so you got blankets

(27:48):
and you know, the comforts a home. However, they're soiling everything,
and so you're gonna have disease, right, and then you
got the animal and then you've got this damage. So
when you get a hold of a critter person that's
going to remove it, it's I always feel an asset

(28:09):
to get somebody like that that understands the habits of
an animal and has the protection gear to get up
there and eliminate that animal. And what you can and
can't do, they'll take care of the problem. Now, as
I started the conversation with is it's an expensive project

(28:31):
because you've got to get rid of the animal. Then
you've got to clean up in a lot of cases,
removing the insulation, putting in new insulation, sanitizing that area,
repairing the soffit or the facia board. You get into
a fairly extensive project in some decent sized bucks. And

(28:55):
I'm here to tell you that insurance companies are not
always going to cover that. You're going to get some
pushback possibly if they can determine that the reason you
have this problem is because the lack of maintenance on
your house. You know, if you go to the inspector

(29:17):
comes out and looks and they could have got in there.
They could have got in there. You haven't really done
much to keep them out of your house. And that's
kind of where things are going right now. It's you know,
probably in your policy that talks about that, and insurance
companies and you've heard it in the news, they're getting
more and more. I'm not going to say stingy in

(29:42):
some case almost reasonable and it's supposed to be you know,
accidents right, or it's not. You know, if you just
didn't maintain your house and if you had broken windows
and animals coming right through the window, that's you know,
that's that's lack of maintenance. Rotted would lack of maintenance,

(30:06):
no paint, no cocking, no nothing, to lack of maintenance.
But they may or may not cover that. That's why
I'm giving you this heads up. Also, roofing insurance and
roofing is changing, not with all of them, not with
all insurance companies, but with start with some and now
it's more okay, it's just again a heads up. Read

(30:31):
the policy. And what I'm saying is if you have
a twenty five year warranted roof and you have a leak,
it just might be a worn out roof. They're not
going to compensate you for a brand new roof. So

(30:53):
read the policies. Don't think everything's just covered. I've had
you know, our specialist on and the only thing I'm
trying to do a broker when we were discussing insurances.
You know, I want to know what's going to be

(31:13):
covered in how that payment. It is going to be done.
But I know, you know, I know many many many people,
maybe you as you listen to this, are thinking, heah,
I need a roof, But I think I'm just gonna
wait for a hailstorm and I get a free roof.
And what I'm here to say is, well you may

(31:35):
not get a free roof. That may be pro rated,
but they say, well, you only had a year's worth
of life on that thing. You know we're gonna give
you a one twenty fifth of that. So something to
think about. Something again to motivate you with maintenance and
repair that should it motivates me, and uh, you know,

(32:02):
make sure we get some of those things done. And
again I'm just seeing the roofing thing has been kind
of creeping in for probably the last four or five years.
The animal thing. I get my information from a critter
control company who we've had on this show multiple times,
a plus wildlife control, and he's seeing more of that too,

(32:24):
he goes sometimes they do cover it. Sometimes some insurance
are not covering it. So heads up, all right, when
we come back, if you'd like to be our last

Speaker 1 (35:25):
All right, back at it we go. You are at
home with Garry Selbrall and let's get back to the phones,
and we have Lisa.

Speaker 8 (35:33):
Lisa, welcome, Thank you for taking my call today. You bet,
I have an issue around my house. I had a
new roof put on and I have new box cutters
put on. But my issue is when the water when
it rains there, the water I guess hits the dirt

(35:54):
of course, and then it hits up on the wall
of the house. So I don't know what's causing that.
Is a typical.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Well where so when it's raining, is this water coming
off the roof and the gutters and then hitting the
dirt and the dirt's going up on the wall or
is it just the rain that's hitting the dirt and
splashing up on the wall.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
That's kind of what I'm thinking. It's the rain that's
hitting there because I don't see nothing coming off the
edge of the gutters at all.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah. Yeah, that's really what you got to determine, Lisa,
because you know, if it's if the roof and the
gutters are not installed properly. I mean, its job is
to bring the rain over the mass of the house,
the footprint of the house, bring it down into the gutters,

(36:47):
take it away from the house and the foundation. So
there should be no splashing off the gutters and off
the roof of the house. If there is, I would
contact that roof for the people that did that work.
If it's just the rain coming, which certainly can be it,
and it's splashing up onto the house, there's not much

(37:10):
you're going to do about that outside of you know,
maybe some landscape plannings or mulching that area where you
know it wouldn't be splashing onto the house. Is there
any puddles around the house?

Speaker 2 (37:28):
No puddle?

Speaker 1 (37:29):
Okay, okay? And is the ground tilted away from the
house or is it tilting towards the house?

Speaker 8 (37:39):
I would say it's tilting away from the house, and.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
That's good too. So we got positive grating away from
the house. That's good. And you know, again you know,
if you get a good shower today and it's not
thundering and lightning out there, maybe get an umbrella and
just walk to that area and see if you got
water that's cascading off the roof and gutters. And if
it's not, my guess is it's just raining in that area,

(38:05):
is just hitting that muddy area and splashing up on
the wall.

Speaker 8 (38:11):
Okay, makes sense already.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Thank you, You're quite welcome. Thank you, take care, bye bye,
and again, I've got an area where there's some erosion
around the one around the land near the house, and
we've got some we're looking now at putting an extended
or bigger gutters on this one side. It's a very

(38:37):
steep pitch in this one corner. There's a saddle in
between the two roofs of metal saddle, and that gutter's
only I don't know, three feet long and five inch gutter.
But I think by the way this erosion is shown
up after twenty five years, that that maybe that flow

(39:01):
may be beaten that gutter. So maybe we need to
put in a six inch gutter to catch all that
water and takes it down the down spout, takes it
away from the house. In the meantime, we've put some
rock in to just break down the force of that.
But yeah, rain's got a lot of force and a

(39:21):
lot of push on it. And if it's just splash
and you got a muddy area again, landscaping breaks that up.
Maulch breaks that down and can can help you with that,
that is for sure, And so that might be something
you want to take a look at it. I know
it's crazy to tell us some got in the middle
of a rainstorm and take a look at it, but yeah,

(39:42):
I think we all could do that, especially as we
go into the season of spring rains. Really and I
preach it all the time, and because it's the truth,
and that's where we see a lot of problems. Is
the moisture or the rain really does water is your
big enemy. Just making sure and sometimes just seeing it

(40:06):
happen during a downpour will answer a lot of questions
of why this is a problem. And even folks that
have sidewalks that go around the house, a patio that's
in the backyard that is against the house, you know,
it's just not the soil if that patio has settled

(40:28):
in tilting towards a house, And even pulled away from
the house. Think about that. If you got a sixteen
by sixteen concrete patio and it drops, you know, a
half an inch to three cores of inch against the house,
that whole area, you know, that two three hundred square

(40:51):
foot depending on how big that patio is, is tilted
towards the house. That when that rain hits that it's
not going to soak into the soil. Well, it's not
going to be pushed away from the house. It's tilted,
it's funneled right to your house. And if it's settled
and there's a gap, you basically have this two or
three hundred square foot funnel that's taking all the water

(41:16):
from that area and pouring it right on the foundation.
And that's where an awful lot of problems start. And
you know, before you start having water issues in the basement,
one of the things you might consider, and we all
do this, we'll get out the calking tubes and we'll
try to fill that gap between you know, the patio

(41:39):
in the house or maybe the sidewalk in the house.
And it continues to settle, and eventually that calking fades
and because it's even dropped even more and it's just
funneling all that water into your house. Eventually they'll be
a crack that occurs and you're gonna have a moisture

(42:02):
problem with water problem in the house. So one of
the things if you're not having that, rather than calking,
I'd get a company in there that does slab jacking
or concrete leveling. They'll drill through the top, they will
lift that, they'll get a positive grade from that patio
facing away from the house. You'll create that slope again,

(42:24):
and in a lot of cases they'll bring that up
just to exactly to the point where it was before.
And they might even run a beat of cock down
there too. But you'll have a positive slope for the
landscaping away from the house, and you really kind of
eliminate your problem. And a lot of times they'll guarantee that.

(42:50):
A lot of them will guarantee it. A lot of
the holes are not that big. I've seen one of them.
They do like one inch holes and they patch it.
You can't even and see it. I don't know why
more people don't, you know, actually, uh do that because
you're going to lose that battle. That calcking is not

(43:11):
gonna last. That slab is going to keep settling. Remember,
we dig this big hole, we plan a house, and
we backfill it, and that that phill just settles over time.
And that this slab jacking and again they're drilling through
that slab and they're they're pumping concrete or grouting limestone, grounding,

(43:32):
and they're filling all the voids underneath it and lifting
it up. And what's your options? Calking, No, tearing the
patio out and replacing it. Well, that worked, but no,
just might be something uh you know all about easy
and uh you know, maybe you have to have them

(43:53):
come back in a couple of years and do it again.
But maybe not. I've seen it both ways. All right, So, wow,
what a while and crazy weekend. It was busy and
uh we did a lot of great conversations this weekend,
at least I think we did. If you want to
know more about spread rock and resurfacing concrete, we got

(44:14):
