you don't really want to go changing out, you know countertops,
you can go right over those from Key Countertops with
(01:34):
any of those products I just mentioned. My sister did one.
I think she used the lux rock and it's beautiful.
It is absolutely beautiful, and you can do it over
a weekend, and it's not like you're working sixteen hours.
(01:54):
It's like you're working maybe an hour and then you
let it drive for a couple hours and you work
an hour, maybe two or three cycles on one day
and one cycle on the next and you're finished. And
if you can paint a wall, you can do your countertops.
Check it out Sniche Codings. They got a lot of
different videos on their website also, you might want to
(02:18):
check out all Right, enough of that, Oh, I do
want to reverse back to when we were talking about
the fleets and I said, doing it daily, twice daily,
don't give up on it. You know, flea eggs. I
just googled the flea eggs. I want to see how
long it takes for them to hatch. It's four to
six weeks. So when he was saying, you know, and
(02:44):
he's been trying, I could hear the frustration in his voice.
But it's a process and it takes time. And that's
why you're vacuuming it daily. Four to six weeks. You
can get as much of that up as you poss
we can so stay with it, You'll get it all right.
Our phone number you can grab a line talking about
(03:07):
your home projects. It's eight hundred eight two three A
two five five, and go ahead and grab a line
and we'll be happy to talk about your home project
and get a few things done. You know, one of
the things that's pretty much a trend right now I'm
seeing more and more people tackle that project is if
(03:31):
you live in a home, maybe a track build home
back from probably the seventies on up, you'll have a
popcorn finish or a textured finished ceilings and people want
that removed or gone. I want a nice smooth ceiling.
(03:55):
There is different ways to accomplish that. Now, trying to
remove the I will tell you, is a messy, messy project. Uh,
if it's never been painted. Just wetting that texture down
with a spray bottle a shop back with a scraper
on it, and of course creating a pretty much a
(04:19):
closed off room and working with it with a respirator
and scratching that off and then topping compound and paint.
That's one way. But also you know, putting up a
product called decorative ceiling tiles. I love this product, but
it's a little bit thicker than paper. It's probably about
(04:42):
maybe a rigid three mil four mel thickness. And it
looks like bronze panels. I mean it's it's decorative ceiling
tiles dot com. I think it used to be decorativeseilingtiles
dot net. Think either one works. Now, take a look
(05:02):
at some of these options where you can just uose
brands and put this up. There's no tracks. You can
put up corns drywall directly on top of that. But
it's a project, you know, if it's really you know,
you want to take that next step up. Maybe you're
(05:23):
maybe not modeling but adding some more finished touches to
your home. That might be an option along with crown molding.
Just another idea of different things to bring it up
a notch if you will. All right, it's eight hundred
eight two three eight two five five grab a line
mark welcome, Hello, how you doing doing great? Thank you.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I want to tell you a remedy for the flea guy.
It's gonna sound a little crazy.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
But it works, all right.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
My friend my friends live in Florida and they have
dogs and fleas are a real problem. So what they
do is they take at night, they take a bucket
till it half full of water and put salt in it,
a lot of salt in it. Then they suspend the ladder.
They put a ladder over top of a bucket. They
(06:15):
hang a flashlight from it at night before they go
to bed. Now, they shut all the lights off in
the house and just leave this flashlight on. And at
night the flea see the light and they jump in
and they die from the salt water because they take
their dogs down to the ocean once a week to
let them swim in the ocean. Because they didn't want
(06:36):
to put chemicals in the house. Right, you know, they
were so as crazy as it sounds, I've watched it,
and it works, and you know, it doesn't cost anything.
But make sure he just got good flashlight battery. So
the light stays on for quite a while. Yeah, but
believe it. And then they hang it about two three
feet above the buckets, so the lights flash it in there.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Oh, I think that's fine. I love those kind of ideas.
And and and they still have to stay with it
for a while, right because.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Of the well you know, yeah, you do it every night.
It doesn't cost anything, right, you know, sew flashlight if
you got a rechargeable flash light, you know, you just
recharge it every day. And so there.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Are some other things that are you know, relatively inexpensive
to do. You know, I was talking about flea powers
in carpets, but diet tamacious earth, which is a powder
into fleas or very small insects, is very sharp and
dusting that into carpet and then you know, leaving it
(07:42):
sit for a day and then coming back and vacuum
that up. That'll that's a good remedy. Also, essential oils.
We're always talking about whenever it's a past or, whether
it's fleas or ants or birds, that you got to
change their environment. You got to make your environment unfrint
and you're you're you're making the environment friendly. But they're
(08:04):
meeting their demise. So I'm fine with that too. Yeah,
that's a good tip.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
I used to like listening to the old trapper talk
about home remedies. Yeah, yeah, there's a yeah they used
to tell every Sunday, you know, but how to what
do you do with you? You just want to give
rid of this or that? But hey, I listen to
you all the time. You're very knowledgeable and you've helped
me in times you don't even know.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Very good. I appreciate that. Thank you all anytime, you
bet you all right, there you go. That's that is it?
That is a good idea. I've not heard of that,
but that's it. Sounds like a great plan. But they
are stubborn. I mean they're tough to get rid of,
as you could tell by the frustration and the caller's voice.
(08:50):
But you gotta, you know, the one thing you want
to take away no matter what you do, is you
got to stay with it. It's not something that you're
going to resolve in three days. Stick with it and
it works myself. Yeah, yeah, you just gotta. You just
got to stay with it. I know we don't all
want to do that, but that's how you're going to
resolve the problem.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
All right.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Let me give you that phone number again. We got
some open lines. It's eight hundred eight two three eight
two five five. We'll continue at Home with Gary Sullivan.

by picking up a can or two of Blaster Industrial

And hey, sleds go super fast too. It reduces friction
while preventing rust. Enjoy this winter and grab some Blaster
Industrial Strengths Silicon Lubrican at a home out of our
(11:37):
hardware store near you, and always use Blaster products and
work it like a pro and back in it we go.
You're at home with Gary Solivan. If you'd like to
(11:58):
join the show, do so. You were talking about ceilings
with a popcorn finish and how to you know, go
to a decorative ceiling or a smooth ceiling. I'll tell
you where it gets challenging. And maybe you maybe you've
run into that. You got a textured ceiling or a
(12:19):
popcorn ceiling, and then you got a water stain. Maybe
we had some issues on the upper floor of the
home or the roof or something in the in the
water got behind the drywall and eventually worked through and
worked into the finish, and now we got a yellow stain.
If that popcorn finish when it was applied, I mean
(12:42):
a lot of times it's just blown up there with
a mixture of paint and mud meaning drywall mud, and
it's blown up there or little tiny star foam beads
in a paint. But if it's ever been painted and
it is a texture with drywall compound, and it gets
(13:06):
wet and it's stained, and you're gonna get up there
and you're gonna scrubble with soap and water, that's a
big mistake because what you're gonna find if it's not
been sealed with pain, and a lot of them have not.
You can test it in a corner. You can test
it with just a little wet rag. If you start
rubbing that and it starts getting smooth, or liquefying. I mean,
(13:30):
it's never been sealed. So if you start trying to
remove a stain or you start painting it, what can
happen is it gonna be absorbing all that water and
it'll begin to dilaminate from the drywall, and then then
you got a real mess. And all you're trying to
do is remove the stain. Now again, if you used
(13:56):
a stain blocking primer, because it'll bleed right through your
text paint. I mean you're gonna cover it up in
about you know, a couple of days later, you'll start
seeing that stain coming through the paint you just put
on there. That's if it didn't delaminate. Now, if you
use uh, there's multiple ones out there, ben primer, seiler,
(14:18):
oil base, or solving base. There's a Kills product which
is a solving base, it's not gonna be it's not
gonna be as much of a problem. And you can
block that stain and seal that drywall and you may
end up having to do the whole ceiling that way.
(14:40):
But it's a it's a challenge, and sometimes it really is.
I mean it's in some cases you might just want
to cover it up and I was talking about the
decorative ceiling tiles. Take a look at that. It's a
good option. And uh, also if you have a heavy
(15:01):
texture up there, and I was talking about if you
start using something of pain, or you try to clean
it up, or something starts delaminating and a chunk of
it becomes loose and maybe it's only you know, quarter
inch half inch thick not it probably wouldn't be that thick.
(15:22):
Quarter to five sixteenths of an inch thick there is,
And then you try to start thinking about how you're
going to patch that, and that's a whole nother can
of worms. How do you patch that? There is a
product you'll find in the hardware stores. It's I think
it's called upshot. It's texturing in a can, which is
(15:49):
an aerosol that doesn't spray horizontally, sprays vertically. So what
you would do is you would remove that loose area
and prepare for a mess. So that means drop cloths
covering furniture and flooring just in that area and the
(16:10):
velocity of and it comes in different textures. It comes
in a fine medium in course texture. So this can
with a nozzle that's going spray vertically up onto the ceiling.
You're going to fill in that area after you clean
it off, scrape it off and fill it in and
(16:31):
try to match it as good as you can, challenging
you MESSI can be. I will tell you one tip
if you're going to do that, practice the very first time,
which was years ago that I used that, I had
not used it. It was an aerosol and I expected
(16:53):
it to come out like an aerosol paint, which it
does not because it's got a texture. It's thick, it's thick,
and it came out unexpectedly hard, fast and thick, and
(17:15):
create a little bit of a mess. Got it cleaned up,
got the texture up there. Everything worked out. Had I
practiced like a big cardboard box or something I could
maybe a garage ceiling back in a corner or something
where I can actually practice it so that I had
a feel for the amount of velocity and product that
(17:38):
was going to come out of that can. Because it
stunned me. There was so much. And of course, if
you're not ready for that, and you're trying to patch
a ceiling in a dining room that had a water
stain that delaminated, whoopee, big surprise. So again I think
it's called upshot. I know the upshot product. One of
(18:00):
them is just a primer that you could spray over
that water stain of solving base. So I may have
the name wrong in terms of the patch, but you'll
find it in a hardware store. And again it's got different, different,
different textures, so certainly check that out, all right. Yesterday
I had a conversation with Teresa Britain and we were
(18:21):
talking about some of the Wet and Forget products. They
got a couple of new ones out there, and I
was talking that the black stains on roofing. You know,
in the beginning, that doesn't do damage to the roof
if you don't maintain any Here we go again. It
(18:42):
eventually will start holding water, it will stay damper, it'll
stay hotter, lichen will begin to grow. In other words,
it may not be a problem except curb appeal in
the beginning, but eventually, remember, if it doesn't look right,
it's not right and it should be addressed. And Teresa
(19:04):
is with wedd and Forget, and we will talk to
her about that whole process and how to address that
and how do we get that cleaned up, Whether it's
the curb appeal can be improved, or whether we're trying
to protect that roof. I'd like to replay that for you.

Home with Gary Slivan. Our guest now is Teresa Britton.
She is the vice president of marketing for our product
and products we talk about often wait and Forget, So
let's bring Teresa on. Teresa, Welcome again at Home with
Gary Sullivan. Hi, how are you doing? Wonderful? I can't
believe it, but the weather is absolutely perfect for your
(22:38):
products right now.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
It is. It is actually the perfect time to put
the we forget on for the fall time. I mean,
you don't have to worry about, you know, the weather
being too warm and evaporating quickly. It's it's the time.
And what I love to tell people put it on
now and then you can kind of skip the spring
clean is it's going to clean all winter long.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
So we're going to talk several products today. We'll start
with the one that I've been preaching for at least
ten years, is the the and we talked about earlier
this morning, that black streaking on roofing. You know, it's
not really damaging your roof, it just looks horrible. You
leave it on long enough and it starts having lichen
and things like that moss, it will damage the roof.
(23:25):
So tell us about how to get rid of that
and how to apply it and and it's extra year
of protection.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
Yes, absolutely, you know we starting off our products are
bleach free, which is really nice, so you don't have
to second guess, Hey, can I use it on you know,
my roof shingles? Can I use it on my metal roof?
So you're going and confidently knowing what you're using is
not going to harm your expensive surfaces. But they're so
easy to use. With the you know, the hosan are
you going to do? You catch it to your garden hose,
(23:57):
You spray on the top of the surface and we're
your way down and then you walk away. That's it,
you know, you don't have to do anything more. And
it's kind of shocking to people sometimes they're like, that's it,
that's all there is to it, and it is. So
then you let mother nature kind of take over from
there and the wind the rain, you know, the sun,
everything else is going to do the clean up for you.
(24:18):
So you know, your your green stains will clean up
and you know a couple of weeks. It can take
a couple of months for you know, your roof to
come clean. But you know, it pays lots to be patient.
You're not putting you know, really harsh, you know, like
deep on your roof. Sure, so just being a little
bit patient. And what's nice is that people kind of,
you know, over the winter, you kind of forget about
(24:38):
it and then you you know, you're like, oh my gosh,
just look at that. It looks beautiful and I don't
have to do anything more.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
It's amazing.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
It is a lot of times I'll get calls trees.
I'm sure you guys do too. Is when we talk
about the streaking, they want to know, Zach, that what
it is and they think it's mold. No, it's fungus
at sound, et cetera. Do you have anything for mold
on the inside the home. We've had a couple of
calls today. One was in an attic with he called
it white mold. He didn't know the species or anything,
(25:08):
and they, I know, there's different ones, and he was
wondering if that was something he could tackle himself. I
mentioned the disinfectant and mold killer. Is that something you
would use for then yeah, we do.
Speaker 5 (25:19):
We have the indoor MOULDI mildew product, So that's what
you want to use for indoors like up in the
attic area. Now if you are if you're getting molled,
say in the bathroom and stud we have a brand
new product on the market.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
It's a mold and mildew.
Speaker 5 (25:38):
Product from there and again all bleach free. So you
just go in, you spray it on, and it's in
a small or like sixteen point nine ounce bottle. Okay,
it's called what forget Multi milidyf cleaner, and you'll find
that one at like Target, at Walmart, Lows, all those places,
you know, go online, take a peek and find a
(25:58):
store near you with that one, and.
Speaker 6 (26:01):
You just put it on.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
You let it do its thing. If you've got a
really bad case, you might want to kind of you know,
like agitate it a little bit, but it's going to
clean up beautifully. Those stanes are going to you know,
come right out and actually this new one that I'm
talking about, they just want Good Housekeeping Award for that
one for the bathroom in twenty twenty five. So yeah,
(26:22):
the cleaning and they were thrilled, Yeah for sure, exactly.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah fall clean time shifting outside again. You got a
newer product, which by the way, is an awesome product,
you know for cleaning the roof, and it appears almost
the exact same hose in sprayer. It's you can clean
your screens and your windows outdoors at the same time.
Speaker 5 (26:48):
Yes, we forget window and screen cleaner again. It comes
in that same great hose and bottle that you see
for the outdoor product. So again you just touch it
to your garden hose, you spray it on and let
it sit for a little bit and then you rinse
it clean again. You don't have to take off your
screens and you know, like over the summer, all the
(27:10):
dirt and the pall and everything that's kind of built
up on all of that. Sure, it's a hassle to
pull everything out, you know what I mean, and go
a hose and have to brush it all down. But
this really just takes all the hard work out of it.
You can do thirty six thirty six windows. That's the
one bottle of windows, which is amazing.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
You keep having these products that are like so easy,
they're hard to believe they.
Speaker 5 (27:33):
Work, right, I know, I know, but that's the goal.
We're really we're taking conventional cleaning methods that have been
you know, they're kind of a pain and they take
time and energy, and we're like, what can we come
up with that kind of makes it simple for people.
That way, you don't dread it, you don't put it off.
You're like, hey, I can do this in a couple
hours and get onto the you know, the soccer game
(27:55):
with the kids or whatever. I watch my favorite football games.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Save a couple hundred bucks having somebody clean your windows
and screens.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
Well too, right, Absolutely, it gets expensive. So here's here's
a do it yourself option. I think that people will
really love to give it a shot.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah, somebody called me, is does that really work? Gary?
So you sell me? That's what I always say, that's
what we say. I, well, let me try it, and yeah,
it really does work. It's very easy to use. Very Yeah.
This year, it's been dusty and dry the second half,
so you know, even if you're running an irrigation system,
(28:35):
you have water spots on the windows. I mean you
said pollen in the spring. I mean there's a lot
of gunk that accumulates out there.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
You do you kind of forget about what's floating around
and what the wind's kicking up. And yeah, so again
easy solution for you out there, just to click fix.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Yeah, and then this kind of goes with cleaning all also,
and especially it also goes with September and that is
a product you introduced. Gosh, I don't know how many
years ago it's been, probably so I don't know. The
Miss Muffets Revenge getting rid of spiders talk to me
because they're active.
Speaker 5 (29:17):
They are active, you know. I mean this time of year,
we've got mating season. The temperatures are shifting, so they're
moving from outdoors to warmer areas headed inside. You know,
they're they're drawn, you know, to the light areas around
your porches because that's where all the insects are. So
you're seeing them a lot more this time of year, definitely,
(29:39):
and you're like, what's happening all these cobwebs and everything.
So Miss Muffets Revenge is a great product. Again, another
one you just kind of spray it on there, You
let it kind of sit and you can come back
the next day and then brush down all those cobwebs.
And it's great for indoor and outdoor. So this is
they love it.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Yeah, this good tip for everybody. Also, you say indoor
and outdoors, got an embasement, you get those joist pockets
and they usually got some just fiberglass insulation stuff stuffed
in there. It's not air tight at all. And spiders
love and cobwebs love to be in that area. So
you spray the spider web and everything and then knock
(30:21):
it down.
Speaker 5 (30:23):
Yeah, absolutely, so, yeah, just spray that area, and then
you can also spray like a perimeter of your house
and thinking inside just to kind of create a barrier
to keep them out too. So you're kind of getting
a super one there. You're getting rid of what you
got and keeping them out.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
So and that functions for a while, that stays active.
That's not a just hit and done. I mean, you know,
it's not like we're spraying to kilt the spider. We're
creating a barrier.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Yeah exactly. So you like indoors, you'll get to twelve
months if you put that on there, you know you'll
you'll be good for about twelve months with that. Now, outdoors,
you depends on how much rain is hitting that barrier.
So you know, you just kind of pay attention. If
you notice you're getting spiders again, just put another real
quick spray on again. We have these bottles that are
(31:10):
you know, sixty four ounces, so you can do that
whole most houses, you can do the full you know,
exterior of foundation and you're good to go.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
So so, Teresa, did you come up with the name?
Speaker 5 (31:23):
Oh, but I wish I could take credit for it.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Oh, I wish you could too, Miss Muffet's Revenge. I
always say it's the it's the product with the best
name ever.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
Yeah, or invntor actually came up with that name down
in New Zealand.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Is that right? Yes, that's awesome. Your products are pretty
much everywhere, now, Artey, I mean, you know Walmart Lowe's
Home Depot. I'm sure you got it on Amazon. Everybody's
on Amazon, so hard right, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:54):
So pretty much. If you visit our store locator, you
can look up all the different products that we have.
The Apron products that I was saying, We have melanies
like sixteen point nine ounce bottles. You can get those
at Walmart. And Target and Lows now, so those are
all out there and that you know our home depot, Lows, Walmart,
Amazon always have. You know, a lot of the DIY products.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
The outdoor cleaners that we were talking about in the
beginning of the show or the beginning of our conversation.
I said, boy, this weather is absolutely perfect for your application.
Can you talk to us a little bit about application
of this product, not on how we know that, but
what would be the ideal I know, like some of
(32:40):
the heat we had earlier in the summer when it
was in the nineties and the sun's out, that's probably
not the best application. Seems to me. We're going into
the perfect weather for application.
Speaker 5 (32:51):
We are. Again. The big thing is you when you
apply the products, you want them to be able to
sit on the surface, you know, and work. So you
don't want them to hit a really warm surface because
then they evaporate quickly. They don't have time to do
what they need to do.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
You know.
Speaker 5 (33:08):
Even in the window cleaner, same kind of thing. You
don't want to spray that, you know, when you've had
really hot windows, you know, you want to make sure
you got some shade going on early in the morning.
Those type of you know, cool temperatures are best for
any of these types of applications. Because we want to
make sure you've get the results. You know that we're
promising so well.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
We got the weather for you, we got the products
for you. No excuses anymore, no excuses.
Speaker 5 (33:32):
Right, absolutely, no reason to procrastinate.
Speaker 1 (33:37):

continues to grow. Thank you so much for your time today, Teresa,

Back to work, we go at home with Gary Sullivan
taking your calls regard to your home projects. Our phone
number is eight hundred eight two three eight two five five.
You can jump on board, happy to chat with you
uh about exactly what's your project is? A quick thing
before we get to ted here. The caller one of
(37:05):
the first UH, I don't know, it was probably think
in the first hour we were talking about the person
with the wood columns and head carpenter bees and they
drilled the holes, and you know, the column itself was
kind of a message, was his words. I think. But
if you have UH, And we take these calls a
lot about getting rid of carpenter bees, usually when they're
(37:29):
active April May especially, maybe a little bit of June,
and we always talk about, you know, first we got
to get rid of them, then sanitizing that hole and
patching that hole. You know, once we get rid of
the carpenter bees, so many of us we forget that
that was a problem. Right we're onto something else. But
(37:51):
right now is an excellent time to go ahead and
patch that because if those holes haven't been patched, obviously
they're not painted inside the wood. And we get some
you know, rain, some people ice and snow in the
coming months and it starts the rotting process of that wood.
(38:14):
Now you can fix those holes all kinds of ways.
You can get a wood a pox and patch the
hole with that. You can get like a an acrylic
siliconized clocking, which even comes in colors. You want to
pump and fill that hole with that, that's fine. Yeah,
(38:36):
Remember when that hole goes in, it takes a hard
right or a hard left ninety degrees, so you can
probably create a little bit of pressure and push that
back even further. But patching them up before a wintertime
good idea. All right, let's get to ted ted welcome.
Speaker 6 (38:55):
Thank you Gary for taking my call. You bet I
got a question about spraying my roof last year. I
sprayed the backside of my roof with a spray that
I got from home depot. I can't remember the name
of it, but when I sprayed it on, it went
on white from me and then turned orange, and this
(39:15):
particular one required it to be rinsed. When I rinsed
that off, my shingles turned from the dark My original
color was I think desert caan, but when I spread
that off, it turned from the dark brown to black
color that it had changed into, and they looked like
(39:35):
a new But I only had enough of that to
do one portion of my roof. I didn't realize how
far it wouldn't go. I kept trying to buy the
wet and forget and Loews carried it but was always
out of it. Anyway, I went back. They didn't have
the product I used the first time. I bought the
Wet and Forget and I sprayed the other three quarters
(39:57):
of my roof and it had no impact. And I
can't find the one that I used originally that cleared
the color up so much. Do you have any idea
which one of the sprays that you can buy commercially
that I sprayed on and it turned orange in color
(40:18):
and did its job like it was supposing.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
I don't where did you say you bought that.
Speaker 6 (40:25):
Home depot?
Speaker 1 (40:26):
They had a product called Spray and Forget. I've never
used it, so I don't know if it foams, I
don't know if it's orgy ish, I don't know. But
they had a product called Spray and Forget, and I
think they have since put in the wet and Forget.
I'm not positive on that. I just I remember reading
about that, so that may have been the product I'm
(40:51):
confused of why the Wet and Frigid didn't work. You're
one of the very few people I've ever told me
that I've used it myself multiple times. Doesn't mean anything
I'm just trying to think why it didn't work. I
will say if it was applied during a really hot day.
(41:13):
We were talking with Teresa about evaporation. She was always
telling me that, you know, people got to watch out
for that. So I don't know. If it was a
real hot sunny day and maybe not enough of it
got on there, I don't know. But to answer Europe,
it was a hot day.
Speaker 6 (41:31):
I could remember that. And it's been months ago, and
the instructions did say it could take some time, but
I've given it that time and it's still discolored.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Yeah, it takes four to six weeks for sure, and
today she said even two months, I've used it where
it took a week. So it does really depend on
what's on there. But to answer your question, when you
were asking if there's another product there, there there is,
and I believe the name of that. In fact, I'm
(42:03):
sure the name of it was spray and forget. I
don't know if home depot still carries that. I don't know,
but it'd be worth checking or even check on Amazon
see if there's a product like that. But I have
not used that product, so I okay, no, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (42:22):
Well, When I originally bought it, I was looking for
the Wet and Forget and they never had it. It
was always sold out. So I said, let me try this. Yeah,
and it worked.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
It turned the orange and it worked. It got rid
of it. And what do you have? Did you have
black streaks or what were you trying to remove? I
missed that part.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
It just turned dark. The desert tan shingles turned almost black,
dark brown to black, a little bit of streaks, but
mostly just the entire surface turned dark.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
Was that the original color?
Speaker 6 (42:58):
Desert can was the original color?
Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yeah, but this Spray and Forget turned it dark or
the other No.
Speaker 6 (43:05):
It turned it back into the original color of desert tean.
And they look almost brand new.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 6 (43:15):
And I had to order the Wet and Forget online
because they couldn't find it in any of the box.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
I get that. I mean it is. It is. Seriously,
it's one of the more phenomenal products I've ever talked about.
So yeah, you know, I guess you can search that
Spray and Forget if you'd like, or if you want
to try the Wet and Forget and again, Cloudy Day,
Foolish Day, perfect. It lays on there and then the
(43:41):
sun and the you know, rain does it. So I
don't know, maybe the environmental conditions were just right, so
you might try that. Hopefully that helps a little. Ted,
thank you much for the call. I appreciate it, and
