Speaker 1 (00:11):
Back at it we go thirty three minutes after the
top of the are at Home with Gary Sullivan and well,
I've been talking about you know, the cold weather will
be here very soon, maybe tonight. In some areas, windows
they're getting closed, snowing in Wyoming, we're going to be
inside more. Boy, what a pretty picture and a quarter.

(00:34):
Of course, we trap a lot of pollutants and a
lot of odors in our homes. So deb Meyer, you've
heard her on the show before. She is with oder exit.
She has joined us and welcome again at Home with
Gary Salivn.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Deb Well, thank you so much for having me Gary,
and yes, odors come. I heard you talk to a
fella about Weiss was getting into his house already.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah. Well they've been doing they've been busy.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Well, you know we have a product that they mice
are unusual animals. They kind of go to the bathroom
as they walk. They don't actually have a bladder. So
you're seeing mice and seeing many. It will start to
smell and our eliminator odor acted eliminator spray that I
mean it works getting rid of the smell of urine.

(01:24):
It doesn't matter or what it is. So if you're
seeing little pepper drops like you're there's probably urine there too,
So that's going to get rid of that smell. And
then the same fellow mentioned he was going to get
cast to get rid of the mice. I think he
was joking and he probably really might need more odor action.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
So the odor exit eliminator, that is your flagship product
because you know with pets, and a lot of people
have pets and that eliminator. I had an email this
week in fact, and they had bought a house, and
I'm trying to get it all together in my head

(02:07):
exactly what they said. They bought a house, they hit
a strong, you know, smell of odor from pets, and
she was going to tear up the carpet and paint
the floor and get new carpet. And I'm going a
lot of people think that's the only way you can
get rid of odors, and in a lot of cases
that doesn't even work. You gotta kill with the odor.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Exactly because you need to know, especially with the eliminare
you need to know where that odor is coming from
and identify it was a dog body odor or was
it actually urine and bodied fluids?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
So how do we do body fluids. How do we
identify where it was?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
We have a black light, and any black light will work,
but on our website is a black light that makes
the body odors for us. Now it's not one hundred percent,
it's probably ninety five percent. It depends on what those
animals are eating within that food. But you know, if
if there's you know, cats will sit on furniture and

(03:16):
not use that as their letter box. So it's dripping
down the wall, it can be behind the base boards,
the tax drips.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
A black light. We really you just don't want to
be spraying willy nilly, is what you're saying. You've got
to really like everything else. We got to identify where
the problem is and what that problem is before we
go attacking it.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Exactly. And you can kind of stand sideways at it's
wall and seed drips of water like even condensation. You know,
you'll see those moisture drips, so you can look at it.
But if you paint over it first, you've just hidden
all of your your signs that there might be your

(04:00):
or odors there. So we say don't paint. Get rid
of that odor first, right, and then paint so that
you're not covering it up. And paint really doesn't get
rid of the odor anyway, it covers it up. So
our products actually eliminate. They're not adding fragrances. Our products

(04:21):
are different because they're water and essential oils, not enzymes.
Most products out there are enzymes, and enzymes smell really
bad when they work, so they add fragrances to cover
up the bad smell of the product working. And sometimes
they will. You know, if the odor is not saturated

(04:44):
into the wood or the carpet, those enzymes will work,
but the odor acts it worked in all those situations.
If not, call us. We'll help you, because there's some
we've been doing this for over twenty five years. We've
got some trick to the trade that we know how
to get at those heavily embedded areas. Sure to get

(05:07):
rid of that, so you know, don't. I had a
fellow who painted the floor too to get rid of
cat urine on his hardwood floor. Well, he ended up
having to stand that off because that paint just did
not encapsulate that smell. The smell is a gas.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, so a lot of paints are breatheable. Now that
means it doesn't let moisture may be in deep into
the floor if it's painted, but if there's something in
the floor that allows that guest to expel through the paint,
so that can always get rid of it. You're exactly right.

(05:45):
You're exactly right. So if somebody old dog, you know,
if somebody is an old dog and you still got
the carpet and you don't have any intention of removing
the carpet and stuff, and they keep wetting in one area,
will the eliminator get through that carpet in that pay?
I can't? I mean, or do you have to? Will

(06:06):
you replace the carpet or can you save it?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
If the carpet's worth saving, you can normally save it.
You've got to saturate that area so that it gets
as deep into the carpet as the urine did. It
has to come in contact with the urine. Okay, so
you know cats will often go in the corners, so
that's really saturated. You may have to pull that corner

(06:32):
of the carpet back and spray both sides.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Okay, saturate that, but then spray on the wall behind
the tax strips or not tax just the toe strips,
and maybe even inject it into the wood of the
dry wall. Okay, we've done that and been very successful.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Yeah, that that odor exit eliminator. That that's a concentrate, right,
use a little to a lot of water, correct.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Right, right, four ounces to a gallon of water. We
sell a product that we've already added the water too,
so if you don't want to mix, you don't have to,
got you. But yeah, and it is a concentrate, a
like a fifty five dollars bottle of concentrate. We'll do
a thousand square feet, so it's like five cents of

(07:21):
square foot, so very economical, and it just eliminates all
kinds of odors. Gasoline on your hands, sure, baby, urine
smells in your clothes in the washing machine. So it's
really and we don't recommend it, but people will use

(07:42):
it in the air after showing a new house that's
been closed up for years. So lots of different firstatile
things that are customers tell us it.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Works for Well, you said, you've been doing it for
a long time and got a whole lineup products. I
do encourage people, and I have on this show for years.

on some of these things because as far as I know,
they're in an odor exit can't tackle.

Speaker 2 (08:37):

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah.

they overlap a little bit, but they are really focused
