(01:36):
the Nation and Ohio politics generally speaking, how things are going, Uh Donovan
and Neil AFP. Donovan and NeilAmericans for Prosperity, Bidenomics, and Sharon
Brown shared Brown's support of Bidenomics.Of course, passing the torchure Kamala Harris?
Is it gonna be Harris nomics?I don't know. I have to
come up with something for that one. Let us see here. Also,
(01:57):
it's Thursdays slash Friday Eve, sowe're gonna hear from Jay Ratliffe. I
heard me the aviation expert, JayRatliffe. Always enjoyed my conversations with Jay,
and I hope you do too.Lighting things up as we close out
of Friday Eve today, the Apaulplane crash ends with only one survivor not
Good American Airlines flight attendants reach areported deal and another Southwest Airlines flight dropping
(02:19):
to dangerously low levels upon approach toan airport. I think it was like
flying at one hundred and fifty feetor something from what I read. That's
a frighteningly low level. Concerned thesize of the aircraft anyway, That will
be Jay Ratliff this morning at eightthirty. What's going on? Well,
real quick here in advance of JoeBiden addressing the nation and not explaining why
(02:42):
he's quitting. Didn't say a wordabout that. We're left to draw our
own conclusions. Anyhow, more frighteningthan that, maybe we're being tested again.
Prior to the address of the nation, Joe Biden, we had the
Russians and the Chinese. North AmericanAerospace Defense Command Public Affairs NORAD said that
(03:09):
Chinese and Russian fighter we had tosend fighter jets to intercept to Russian TU
ninety five Bear bombers and two Chineseeight six bombers off the coast of Alaska.
Huh, I'm supprised, Joe.Do you wonder where the Iranians were?
Do you think the Iranians feel leftout for not being invited to the
(03:31):
to fly up close to Alaska. They're coming up in the southern border.
At least I can still laugh aboutit. Agency confirmed the detected tract and
intercepted the two Russian t U ninetyfive and PRC H six military aircraft operating
(03:54):
in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone. US and Canadian fighter jets nor ADS
fighter jets conducted the interception, sowe had some help from the Canadians again,
less than an hour before Biden addressedthe nation. According to the statement,
the Russian PRC aircraft remained in internationalairspace and did not enter American or
(04:17):
Canadian sovereign airspace. They said, this Russian and PRC activity and the Alaska
ads IZ is not seen as athreat. Really well, maybe not an
immediate threat, but it certainly suggeststo me that a test. Let's see
what the United States and Canada doeswhen we team them, thinking from a
(04:40):
Russian perspective, when we team upwith the Chinese and get close to their
sovereign airspace. Let's just see howthey react. H frightening that frightening that
anyway, Biden did speak, speakinga night behind the Resolute Desk in the
(05:02):
ol Little office. He started,I've made it clear that I believe America
is an inflection point, one ofthose rare moments in history when the decisions
we make now will determine our fateof our nation and the world for decades
to come. The decisions we makenow, is that the royal we or
is that the decisions that he andObama and the inner circle that tells Biden
(05:27):
what to do make. He didn'tanswer the question in the defense of democracy,
which is at stake, I thinkit's more important than any title referring
to the office of presidency. However, however, in recent weeks, he
went on later in the speech tosay, it's become clear to me that
I needed to unite my party inthis critical endeavor. I believe my record
(05:53):
as president, my leadership in theworld, my vision for America's future,
all merited a second term. Huh. But nothing, nothing can come in
the way of saving our democracy. There we are again, and that includes
personal ambition. This from a partywho throughout the democratic process of nominating the
(06:15):
candidate for presidency in favor of railroadingJoe Biden out of the office and picking
whoever the hell they wanted Kamala Harrisonthis particular case. So I've decided the
best way forward is to pass thetorch to a new generation. Nothing,
nothing can come in the way ofsaving our democracy, and that includes personal
ambition. Referring to himself, hegave you assurances that he would continue his
(06:41):
job as presidents. He will continueto lower costs for hard working families.
How's that working out, folks, growing our economy, etc. He's going
to be calling for Supreme Court reform, he says, while he's still on
the job. He's going to keepfighting for the cancer moonshot. You think
that was the kind of a shotover the battle of Donald Trump who said
(07:03):
he was going to cure cancer. They all claim they're going to cure cancer.
Uh, Supreme Court reform, becausethis is critical to our democracy.
Supreme Court reform. He said ittwice in one sentence. What does he
mean with Supreme Court reform? Youdon't get your way in the courts because
(07:26):
the law is what it is.The Constitution does set parameters and limitations on
what can and cannot be done byway of executive pen waving. It does
have limitations over the size and thescope of federal government. It's right there.
All powers not specifically retain herein Ishall be belong to the states.
Tenth Amendment stuff right the founding fathers, the highest supreme law of the land
(07:49):
says limited powers of federal government rightthere. This is all you get federal
government, the states retaining the balanceof it. The courts confirm that by
way of decision making. And that'sa problem. It needs to be reformed,
allowing states to go their own wayand make their own decisions and draw
their own conclusions. Got a callerlate in the show yesterday. Fred is
(08:13):
upset because his roads need to befixed. Exactly, it's a local issue.
Obviously, our local government has failed. That caller, Fred, I
believe his name. How likely isFred's road going to get fixed if the
federal government's powers grow and whittle awayat the state's powers. That it's not
(08:39):
that's the point. So it's callingfor Supreme Court reform, in other words,
in order to expand retain grow thepower of the federal government. Was
still reeling from the abortion decision.Abortion that the Supreme Court's overturning a road
the way didn't do anything except really, I think in a large part probably
(09:00):
span access to abortion. Now thathasn't been the case in some of the
states. I recognize that, butthere are profound limitations within Roe v.
Wade on the third trimester. Andnow we've moved to states where they have
their own choice in the matter andcan decide what limitations are on abortions,
and some states say basically all theway through pregnancy now, which is disgusting,
(09:24):
but at least you get a sayin it. It becomes a more
local issue. Parenthetic. We're notat war anywhere in the world. He
did say that. Again, Idon't know that that's the case. We're
also securing our border. That's aquote. Border crossings are lower today when
(09:46):
the previous administration left office today. What about the situation up until three weeks
ago when Joe Biden went to DonaldTrump route and executive ordered a limitation on
the number of people allowed into ourcountry. And I don't know that his
facts and figures are correct. Ijust go ahead and give him his due.
(10:07):
Maybe there are fewer at this momentin time than when Trump left office.
Trump did everything in his power totry to curb the border surge.
He wanted to build a wall.Of course, guess who stopped that from
happening. I mean, his effortswere thwarted by Democrats. Trump's efforts would
have been more successful had the Democratsand I'd gotten in the way and then
(10:30):
undone when Trump did. But lookwhat Joe Biden had to do in order
to bring about what he said yesterdaysecuring the border. Oh maybe Donald Trump
was right with his policies. TheAmerican people are a little upset and disgusted
with the surge of illegal immigrants takingover all the resources and available dollars that
(10:52):
we have, which we really didn'thave anyway, the constituents are upset.
I'm gonna have to go the oppositedirection. Joe Biden waves his pen and
look, now we have a secureborder. Is that all it took?
Why did you wait? Sadam Long? Joe anyhow, Absent was any explanation
(11:20):
as to why, based on hisawesome record, he's stepping down. Why
is he stepping down when he's ableto fulfill the balance of his term.
He didn't stay. He didn't explainanything. The defensive democracy, which is
this sake I think is more importantthan any title, without saying why he
(11:41):
could no longer do the defending didhe reassure he's capable of doing the job
the balance of his presidency. Nopulling. That's why he got squeezed out.
(12:01):
And why do you think he waspouring pulling poorly? You got two
things to hang your hat on.One, of course, his age and
infirmity. Well it's not his age. Actually it's his infirmity because you can
struggle with cognitive decline at really anyage. So the eighty one year old
man is really not the issue. It is the feeble minded eighty one year
(12:26):
old man. So hang your haton that. But I think more fundamentally,
and this is something we're talking aboutyesterday. Policies, folks, going
back to the border policies are whyhe was pouring pulling poorly. The direction
he's taken our country, the factthat no one can afford anything anymore.
(12:46):
Everybody's curving like tightening their belt. They're not buying what they used to buy
at the grocery store. They're cuttingthings out from their expenditures because we're struggling
economically. If this report hear abouthow much it cost to buy a house
in this I mean how much salaryyou have to make in order to buy
a house in this country. Now, it's pretty frightening numbers. People want
(13:07):
to buy a house, they can'tbuy a house economic reality, based on
policies implemented by the Biden administration. So there's your more primary reason. He
was pulling so poorly, so poorlyacross the board, and even states that
were never in place started leaning towardDonald Trump or at least getting precipitously close
(13:28):
to crossing that fifty percent threshold. They pulled the plug on him because of
his numbers, only part of whichwere the consequence of his cognitive decline.
It's policies, and Kamala Harris isgoing to double down or even triple down

KRC talk station. How to avoidanswering questions compliments of Democratic Representative Amelia Sykes.
(15:50):
Yesterday, I was alerted to thefact that apparently if you mispronounced Kamala
Harris's name, I learned yesterday, and thank you to Mississippi James Kamala this.
He's the one that said. Youknow. I struggle with that too,
because when I read it, Iwant to say Kamala, but I
had to train myself to say itproperly, which is Kamma. Look Kamala,
(16:12):
very slight difference, and I didn'trealize it was race, just to
mispronounce someone's name. I just thoughtit was an error, lack of knowledge
or information. So I was educatedyesterday and apparently I have been pronouncing it
correctly by saying Kamala. Anyway, turned new Democratic Representative Amelia Sykes, who
is running for re election here inOhio described as a vulnerable race, was
(16:37):
asked a question yesterday, Congresswoman,do you think Kamala Harris or Kamala I
believe is the way. The reporterasked the question, do you think Kamala
Harris is doing a good job asthe borders are? Yes or no borders
are? That's another thing that's goingto come up in conversation this morning.
(17:00):
Her response, I don't know whoKamala Harris or Kamal Yeah, Kamala Harris
is. This is the Democratic representativeof the new sectional hip. I don't
know who Kamala Harris is. Thequestioner says, well, she's the vice
president, bottom line is. Ina statement later, the spokesperson Aiden Johnson
(17:26):
from the DCCC said, what wasbecause they mispronounced her name? If Republican
trackers and Kevin Coughlin are going toask about the vice president they should know
they should show respect and start pronouncingyour name correctly. Okay, so we're
going to start well, we canavoid tough questions by merely hanging your hat
on a mispronounced, mispronounced name.Okay, that's going to do well for
(17:48):
her in the state of Ohio, which is often described anymore as a red
state. Interestingly enough, feel freeto call five one three, seven four

(18:11):
for me to mention my friend PeterShabier kelwiam Sven Hills came back and forth

I pulled up the website and thereit is seven zero eight three thousand dot

the house clean, and you hadto keep the house all polished up,
(18:56):
and you had to get out ofthe house, get the dog out of
the house, arrange for the realestate agents, all the hassle and headaches
that go along with that. Howabout no call Peter Shabrie up and his
team within forty eight hours of SeniorHouse. You're going to have a cash

you've got CAIRCD talk station five thirtyon a Friday Eve and a happy one
to you trying to make it happyanyway, I will acknowledge it can be
quite difficult in these trying times wefind ourselves to put a smile on your
face. But we are heading intothe weekend anyhow, Let's go ahead to
the phones. Five one, three, seven two three talk Dave. Good
morning and a happy Friday Eve toyou, sir. Good morning, Happy
(20:25):
Friday Eve. Maybe Friday for me, I'm not sure, but yeah,
I call. I told Joe Trump'sear. Trump's ear actually tells a tale
of what happened. And I'm surprisedthat actually a little upset with myself not
having caught it immediately. When helooked at that screaming, he took about
a half step to the right andcareer turned and cox his head at the
(20:48):
same time. The geometry says thatthere's no way that kid got that round
off to his ear without going throughhis skull first. That means that there
were two shoot and only yesterday.I've confirmed by three sources that there's audio
analysis saying there were at least twoshooters. You want to let my listeners
know the sources upon what you're relying. One came from Jellyfish News, which
(21:14):
is John b Well site. Thatis, he's your pre overnight program on
Keresey on Friday only, but he'slive on his own stations Monday through Saturday,
and he got the news from where. I don't have it in front
of you right now. Yeah,I can't tell you where. Breakdown.
(21:37):
See this is the analysis I gothrough. I hear stuff like this all
the time. If I write itand put it on the internet, somebody's
gonna repeat it no matter what Imake up or put that on the internet.
I want to know where the informationcame from. Is it an insider,
is it a whistleblower? Does thesource have connection with the information?
You know it's just because some guysays it. I don't know. I
haven't read that literally anywhere. Solet me ask a different question. But
(22:00):
if if that information is so wrong, I didn't say it was wrong,
I'm questioning the source. This isthe point. I'm questioning the source.
How about a personal observation. Thisis not somebody else speaking, This is
me speaking, my personal observer, the one that said he got shot in
the face and that there's those werebullet wounds on his face and it was
(22:21):
just a blood trickle down down hischeeks. I mean, that was the
day after the happen You called hereand said he got hit with multiple rounds.
We know that's not true. Uhyeah, there's it by twice.
But anyway, that's that's that's notwhat I was going to observe. But
I'm just going to I'm going backto comments you made previously, Dave,
and just just pointing out that thelandscape changes moment to moment, and you
(22:44):
said something that is obviously wrong. You're going to find it's correct. Now,
you're going to find his correct now. The other thing is Dan Bonginouh.
It did an analysis which I watchedthe full bearing of shortly after,
and he sided several failures that allhappened at the same time. Now,
how many failures that happened at thesame time need to happen at the same
(23:07):
time before? It's beyond coincidence andit's a total flipping setup. I'm telling
you it was a setup from theinside. How did it? How did
it fail? Yeah, you're tohave an assassinator? Is that we're suggesting
this was this was purposely just donein order to bring about the death of
Donald Trump? Is that the setupyou're talking about? That is exactly correct?
(23:32):
Okay, go ahead. Trump toldyou how it failed. Trump told
you, truck told the whole worldhow it failed. He said, by
the hand of God. The onlyreason he's still alive is because of God,
God protecting him. Okay, whereis God during the Holocaust? Where
is God during the wars and famineand pestilence that have gone on since day
one of his globe that we liveon? I mean, how is it
that God the Old Testament? Yeah? Yeah, you know, yeah,
(24:00):
yeah, he's there too. Hejust doesn't like everything that we do.
We're a bunch of dumbasses down hereon this planet. Na. Thanks,
Dave, appreciate your call. Manfive point thirty four to fifty five kir
Steve Talk Station. We're a bunchof dumb asses down here on this planet.
Uh, Okay, I'm sorry. We have different perceptions, and I
(24:21):
know that maybe my perception flies inthe face of many others perceptions. I
do believe were given the freedom ofchoice, and that maybe God does have
a divine plan for all of us. But I don't really believe the hand
of God comes down and intervenes inevery single aspect of her life. I
don't think he controls the outcome ofa Bengals game, for example. I'd
like to think God doesn't care aboutthat. But if God were engaged actively
(24:45):
in preventing harm and evil from happening. You got to wonder all the different
times that we've I mean, whydidn't he stop COVID? Why do we
even get COVID in the first place. I think we're free to make mistakes
and draw our own conclusions and inferencesfrom the mistakes that are made. Maybe
we should learn some from the outrageousbehavior that dictators and evil people have done,
the harm that has been just meteddown on people over the centuries.
(25:07):
Don't do that. These bad thingsare illustrative guides for learning and growing and
evolving as humanity. Thank God,yes that Donald Trump didn't get shot.
It's nice to be able to saythat. And it's wonderful to believe in
a higher power. They practically speaking, you know, why not why here
and not over there? Why didit happen this time but not in this
(25:30):
other instance? Sense? Why didJohn F. Kennedy get his brains blown
out? I questions of faith. We're all left to our own devices,
right, we are all left toour own choices and our own perceptions of
reality. I'm just looking for somethingconcrete of this world. If there were
two shooters I'd like to know thatI haven't seen any evidence of it.
(25:56):
We're still in the dark, andwe live in a world here, in
this particular country, where the powerswould be actually want to keep us in
the dark. We know that fora fact. Look at the US Secret
Service director under cross examination by congresspeople of both parties, not answering a
damn question for information that we knowshe's got, and the Secret Service is
(26:22):
still looking into who was providing overwatchfor that particular built. Still, the
director admitted during during a question thatshe had interviewed every single agent who was
there. How can they not knowwho is providing overwatch for the building?
We know they know the answer tothat question. They just keep us in
the dark. Sadly, I'm leftin a position of being in the dark
(26:45):
like everybody else, which allows us. As was part of the testimony,
do you think that these conspiracy theoriesare bad for the country? Yes,
she said, they are. Well, why don't you do something to dispel
them? Now we've got multiple shootersin multiple bullets, and there's no way
Donald Trump could not have been Ithirty seven fifty five cares toe the dok
station. Sorry, just I'm asfrustrated, I think as many. Something
(27:11):
I'm not frustrated about is my recommendation. You need to call it Zimmer Zimmer
HVAC hand only twenty four hour day, seven day a week emergency service.
They got you covered on that servicingyour HVAC systems. You're well in hand
with uh Zimmer. They do agreat job. Their generation family in and

to replace your air conditioning, itis the perfect time to do it because
(27:32):
you're going to get a cool carriercomfort rebate saving up to twenty one hundred
dollars on the new air conditioning unitfor my friends at Zimmer and of course
carrier carry who invented air conditioning,So kuindt of the folks that invented it
and kind of the folks that areauthorized dealers and again more than seventy five
years keeping their customers homes safe, efficient and comfortable. My friends at zimber

five KRSI the Medal of Honor byforty one fifty five KRC detalk station.
You're welcome, Jeff satisfied with myrant. At least one person was I
apologize five one, three, sevennine fifty five hundred fifty on at and
(28:19):
T funks go free to call youmy best to maintain my composure over to
the stack is stupid. Oh saywhat, Joe, didn't we already start
it? Yeah? That you know? It cracks me up about this article
of I'm gonna read a little bit, pretty bit of it. It's six
(28:41):
pages long. Dispense with a vastmajority of it by pointing out the following,
uh, we go a bride tobe claiming an impulse decision to get
breast surgery in Turkey, the countryidiots doing idiot things because it is there's
a star left her looking like herboob had been bitten by a shark.
(29:03):
What quote when her nipple dropped off? Close quote Madison Goodwin got surgery and
is tanbull Turkey. After seeing whatthey describe as a delighted friends result of
the same clinic, clinic, andon and on, Impulse booked the procedure
to get done. Described as amodel and social media influencer, she spent
four thousand I believe that is poundsor lira, or we'll call it dollars
(29:30):
for the sake of moving forward tohave breast implants and a breast lift,
which involved nipple reconstruction in order tomake her big saggy her words, boob's
perkier. This in April, nineteenyear old concern when she discovered her right
nipple was bright purple the day afterthe surgery and claims to have ordered overheard
(29:52):
a doctor say it was done wrong, but I corrected it. Do what
the hell? Days later described asit's horrified when she took the bandages off
and spotted some of the skin hadturned black and her nipple was hanging on
by a thread that's in quotes beforeeventually dropping off what now refer to a
hospital womon specialist. She's now waitingfor the rest of the necrotic tissue to
(30:15):
heal or drop off before she canget a skin graft at a United Kingdom
hospital where apparently she's from steer clearbreast surgery in foreign countries. Thank you
Joe Strekker for ratting this one tothe stack is stupid. Transgender athletes won
first, second, and third placein a recent women's cycling competition held in
(30:36):
Washington Stateandel Marymore Grand Prix kicked offFriday at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome with
at least three transgender athletes taking partin the two person relay of the quote
Initial caps Elite Women's Division cord theresults. The top three teams each had
(30:59):
one biological mail. It's a manbaby policy, referring back to why Joe
Biden dropped out formerly last night, why his polling numbers are in the toilet.
(31:21):
Looking for reasons, perhaps just putthis one in among them. Five
forty five fifty five KRC detak station. Get in touch with foreign exchange.
You want to imported car pix properly, the traditional import of manufacturers. I
realize those traditional ones are sometimes madethe United States, like Toyota, but
it can still considered import and that'sforeign exchange for it. Right there,
all imported cars, whether from Asiaor Europe, those traditional Asian and European
(31:42):
manufacturers. The reason you take itto foreign exchange, not only are you
going to be treated better than thedealer, they treat you like family.
There. It's a wonderful environment. The Westchester locations one I'm speaking of.
That's where Austin and his ASC certifiedMaster technicians will be working on your car.
You take it there because you don'twant to pay as much as the
deal. That's the bottom line.Your bottom line is always your bottom line.
Of Foreign Exchange, they're gonna giveyou great service. I assure you

not going to continue doing it.No explanation why is bowing out? We're
left our own conclusions on that.So yeah, I can read the speech
and I'll take a few minutes.I don't know how long it took him
to get through it himself, butit's really kind of shallow and lacks depth,
but doesn't answer the question of whyhe's bowing out, So you can
feel free to draw your own conclusions. I go with, you know,
(40:13):
the two things that I mentioned inthe last hour. His infirmity check,
that is true, but more hispolicies. If he had great policies and
the place was a well oiled machine, he'll be in ahead of the polls,
right, I mean, don't weall agree on that. I don't
think any of us can deny thatthe president is, in many respects largely
a figurehead, and that he doesn'tmake his own decisions. No president does
(40:36):
completely. They're not all knowing andall seeing on every subject matter. They
rely on experts and people around him. In this particular presidency, many people
in my listening audience, and Ican count myself among them, kind of
presume that Obama and his people arethe ones that are making the decisions and
telling Biden what to do. Butif those decisions were good ones for the
country, and we were on aright path, and we all felt that
(40:57):
way, the economy was rolling along, the inflation wasn't so outrageously high,
we could afford groceries, we couldafford housing, all the things that are
so important, We had a secureborder, there wasn't crime ramping in the
streets, you know, that kindof thing, then he'd be on his
way to victory. I mean, they've already baked into the cake, this
whole evil Orange Man thing. Imean, there's people have this I called
a Pavlovian response. Yesterday when talkingabout this. It's the only reason Trump
(41:22):
is behind, I think in anypoll, because we've got four years where
we were in a better situation,a better place to compare to where we
are now. I mean, itdoesn't take someone that's looking at every single
wine item detail about the world. We got a sense of it, we
know it, we're living it,and ergo, the polling is down so
(41:43):
much so they had to pull theplug on his campaign. So age yes
or infirmity rather yes. But Ithink more fundamentally the issues are what's sinking
Biden and are you going to getanything better with Kamala Harris. I just
got a big kick out of HillaryClinton's op ed piece in the New York
Times. President Biden's decision and hiscampaign was a pure, active, as
(42:04):
pure an act of patriotism as I'veseen in my lifetime, she wrote,
among other things. But fast forwardin the article. Here's a line from
the center of the article, oralmost halfway through, which I think she
should have made. First, allof us voters must be thoughtful about what
(42:24):
we read, believe, and share. And amonishment from Hillary Clinton that on
the heels of making a statement quote, there is now an even sharper clearer
choice in this election. On oneside is a convicted criminal who cares only
about himself and is trying to turnback the clock on our rights and our
(42:45):
country. What do you think shemeans by that? It's an empty statement.
So yes, I am being thoughtfulabout what I read, believe in,
share, which I recommend doing allthe time, just because someone says
it, like Abraham Lincoln once said, if you read it on the internet,
it's true, turn back the clockon the rights in our country.
(43:09):
You know, I think the onlything that she's referring to is turning back
the clock on the rights is theabortion issue, which is not a federal
anymore. On the other side isa savvy former prosecutor and successful vice president
who embodies our faith in America's bestdays are still ahead. It's old grievances
(43:31):
versus new solutions. Well, I'mbeing thoughtful and about what I read,
believe in chair and I am strugglingto find in what way, shape or
form. Kamala Harris has been asuccessful vice president given that her primary task,
the most prominent check task, isthat she was the borders are which
the Orwellian media is trying to nowbackpedal off of I get that to the
(43:54):
minute. No, No, shewas never The borders are really after you
said that like countless times over andover again. That's a comical road we
can go down a little bit anyway. Clinton writes, Missus Harris record and
character will be distorted and disparaged bya flood of disinformation and the kind of
ugly prejudice we're already hearing from Magamouthpieces. She and the campaign will have
(44:17):
to cut through the noise, andall of us voters must be thoughtful about
what we read, believe in share. That's where the line came from.
And here's a great paragraph. Imean, we are talking about Hillary Clinton.
This is a Hillary Clinton op edpiece, and so of course it
has to be all about Hillary Clintonas much as possible. I love this.
I circled all of the eyes,and I've I know a thing or
(44:37):
two about how hard it could befor a strong for strong women candidates to
fight through these sexism and double standardsof American politics. What decade is she
speaking from. I don't know asingle human being who believes just because the
person is a woman, that youwould be incompetent to manage elected office.
(45:00):
I mean, I remember Margaret Thatcher'ssuccessful running in the United Kingdom. She
was in a powerhouse, a forceto be reckoned with, and not the
only woman politician on the globe oreven in this country. We've been electing
women to high office for decades now. Hillary, I don't know what land
you landed in. They want tolive in the past. They're the ones
(45:21):
that go around saying we live ina racist country. Yes, we once
did, but not everyone. Alot of people who fought to eradicate slavery,
even back in the Civil War.Remember all those white people who held
arms against the evil Confederates. Oneof the main reasons slavery and the abolishment
of it. Anyhow, I've beencalled a witch, a nasty woman,
(45:42):
and much worse. I was evenburned in effigy. As a candidate,
I sometimes shot away from talking abouttalking about making history. I wasn't sure
voters were ready for that, andI wasn't running to break a barrier.
I was running because I thought Iwas the most qualified to do the job.
Well, it's still pain to methat I couldn't break through that highest,
hardest glass ceiling. I'm proud thatmy two presidential campaigns made it seem
(46:07):
normal to have a woman at thetop of the ticket. You didn't do
that. Miss Harris will face uniqueadditional challenges as the first black and South
Asian woman to be at the topof the party's major parties ticket. Again,
we've been blecting black folks to highoffice for a long time. Had
(46:28):
Ken Blackwell on the show the otherday. Black Man was mayor of the
city or mayor of the City ofCincinnati, Secretary of State, right,
I mean, his record is amazing. He's a conservative Republican too. Nobody
had any problem with Ken black Man. Nobody had any problem with Obama.
He was elected president twice. We'rein to post racial world here for the
(46:51):
vast majority of people seeing people anyway. So after talking about her being the
black and South Asian woman at topof the ticket, that's real. But
we shouldn't be afraid. Ooh,why would anyone be afraid of a black
Asian woman. We might be afraidbecause of the policies that she wants to
(47:14):
implement. That's one reason, whichhas got nothing to do with her race
or her color of her skin. And let me just also point out this
is rather bizarre. Hillary Clinton's focusingon the woman part of it. She's
a woman. She's got a problembecause she's a woman. It's going to
be a problem because she's running forhigh office as a woman. Oh oh,
this is the party that doesn't evenbelieve in gender. You can be
(47:37):
whatever you want to be, justdeclare yourself. They're the party of gender
fluidity. Apparently your sex does notreally matter, or at least your biological
sex. As we saw on thetwenty twenty two midterms, abortion bands and
attacks on democracy are galvanizing women voterslike never before. Well again, I
(48:01):
keep going back to and I've setit on blue in the face Donald Trump,
or rather Donald Trump and the federalgovernment can no longer impact abortion policy.
Talk to the state's Hillary. Iknow you're trying to gin up support
among your base by keeping by focusingover and over and over and over again
on the one issue that you havea majority of Americans on, That is
(48:21):
the ability to have access to somepart of abortion. But that's not a
federal issue, So throw that aside, and then you're left with a tax
on democracy. And in what wayis Donald Trump a threat to democracy?
It's a throwaway statement. It doesn'tmean anything. We have a constitution,
(48:42):
and yes, the Supreme Court isthe one that's at least upholding the foundations
are the fundamental principles. While ofthe Constitution a limited federal government with finite
powers that really pisses them off becauseit interferes with their you know, executive
pen dictatorship type executive office that theywant. They in fact are the threat
(49:04):
to democracy. The Democrats, well, the far left of the Democratic Party.
I'm not going to accuse all Democratsof being a threat to democracy.
I know same ones. But thisis the obviously the old bait and switch
to the left uses all the time. They just go after the other side
for doing exactly what they're doing realtime in front of your face. So
I choose as a voter to bethoughtful about what I read, believe,
(49:28):
and share, and I will becritical in my analysis of what's being said.
So I'm taking Hillary Clinton's advice asit relates to her own op ed
piece, which I encourage everybody tolisten to read. Hillary Clinton, how
Kamala Harris can win and make history. Steve hang On, I just looked

might also be trivial, knock yourselcoYou were going on about Hillary Clinton,
and I agree with Hillary. Sheis you know, I can imagine people
calling her a witch. That doesn'tsurprise me at all, So I agree
with her. I never thought thosewords would come out of her out of
(52:06):
my mouth. I was not ableto call the other day, so I'm
going to reach back. You've gotto go back in time and think of
things you said yesterday or two daysago. But you were talking about and
it is twenty twenty four, Snoopdog is going to carry the flag in
the Olympics. Well, the Olympicsare a joke. It's just a marketing
(52:28):
point. How much money can thesecan anybody participating make that? It has
nothing to do with anything but that. But here here's you know, I
would be surprised if he wasn't carryingthe flag. It's twenty twenty four,
it's it's the Olympics, tors,not a flag. That's where we were
joking about him do whatever whatever.Yeah, yeah, well do we want
(52:51):
him around an open flame? Imean, couldn't resist. But guess who's
carrying the flag? Lebron James. Now this is a guy. Why not
pick the guy who kneeled for thenational anthem for for a good year or
two at the start of basketball gamesin this country. What a great representative
of the United States. He'll bethe guy that kneeled when they played the
(53:14):
national anthem at Laker games. That'sthe guy we're going to have carry the
flag. I love it. Itjust makes you proud to be an American.
And here's my main point, whichis trivial as well. Thank goodness
we have the most transparent administration ofall time, because if we did not,
(53:36):
I wouldn't know what's going on.But since they're the most transparent,
we all you know. I'm gladthat got clarified last night too, because
I mean, I I thank goodnessthey're so transparent. So you have a
good day, pull your tongue outof your cheek and gonna pop a hole.
And there's the appreciate the call. And I had forgotten Lebron was one
of the guys that kneeled. Iyou know, and maybe that's a subtle
(53:58):
political point they're trying to make.Hey, Bill, thanks for calling this
morning. Happy Friday, Eve,Hey Brian. Yeah. On Hillary Clinton,
you know, it's kind of funny, but I think she ought to
change parties and become a Republican whenshe was running as the nominee become the
Democratic Party nominee for the president. It was them who turned her down and
(54:22):
turned her away from becoming the presidentor you know, to be elected.
It wasn't the Republicans, it wasn'tanybody else. It was her own party
that did not give her the nomineeto run. You think maybe much in
the same way. I believe themost prominent reason that Biden pulled the plug
on himself or had the plug pulledon him was policies and the direction of
(54:45):
the country. You think maybe thatHillary Clinton's record and the corruption that was
swirling around the destruction of all heremails and documents and running a server from
her home that was not secure andbeen hacked into the Russians, her collusion
and creating the Steel Report, andsupport of this fake Russia Russia Russia Trump
collusion nonsense. You think any ofthat among just that's just a couple of
(55:06):
the multitude of reasons that people mightnot have want vote for Hillary Clinton.
That that might have been said somethingnew with it. You know, you
bring up a good point. Ifshe ran, if she turned parties and
become a Republican, the media wouldthrow that in her face, but they
don't do that when she's a Democrat. So that would be fun to watch.
But no, as far as youknow, Obama turned around and had
(55:30):
a meeting with Bill, and eversince that happened, Obama won the presidency.
Hillary had to go flying around inan airplane for eight years and never
touch ground. I mean, it'samazing to listen to these people and think
that we don't have a memory toremember everything that happens. Thank you for
that fundamental point, Bill. Iappreciate that you're right. I think we're
(55:51):
smarter than that, right, Andit's just sad that we get to hear
the same mumbo jumbo. I mean, back in twenty years ago, we
didn't have the quick access to theprint to the Internet that we do now.
To go back and listen to summerrecordings. Oh, you just stepped
(56:12):
it right there. No, Iknow, I was just looking at this
article. That web page the govTrack, which rated Kamala Harris the most
liberal senator back in twenty nineteen, the most little. They removed that just
yesterday. That has been up sincetwenty nineteen. Oh well, our policy
has changed a few years ago.We just didn't get around to taking that
one off. We no longer raidsenators annually. We do it every two
(56:35):
years now, So it's been deleted. The Ministry of Truth, George Orwell's
Ministry of Truth from nineteen eighty fouris alive and well, so you're right.
We have the Internet. We canoften go back and see what they
said, when they said it,and exactly the words they use, unless
they take it down. I justfeel I feel so sorry. Well,
I just think that the rest ofthe world has the constantly look in America
(57:00):
and think that we are just sostupid and the way we do things and
our bill. Maybe that's by design, Maybe that's the point of why they're
making our country such a mess,so that it does reduce America's status globally,
It does make us look clownish,It does reduce America's superiority in the
(57:21):
hearts and minds of those around theglobe. Right's much more. I don't
know much more time I have, but anyhow, you know there's a lot.
We're out of time. Well finishyour point, We're going to have
to go okay, Well no,I'm just I'm just so surprised that nothing's
brought up about this September October. But when we won't be able to pay
(57:42):
our bills and we're going to fallin debt to China or Rush or both,
I'm just amazed that's not the topstory, and I wish that it
should be the top come up withit, should I wish the Republicans would
come up with a contract for Americaso we know what they would do and
vote for, and get the Congressand Senate this time around to follow and
(58:06):
see how many people would follow along. Well, the Republican Party did come
up with a platform. It isa lot shorter, it's easy to read,
it makes perfect sense, and it'snot the twenty twenty five project from
the Heritage Foundation. Even Donald Trumphas said, I don't even know what
the hell that is, so tryingto tag the Republican Party as inextricably intertwined
with that particular nine hundred page reportfrom the Heritage Foundation. No, that's
(58:27):
the Heritage Foundation with its grand andglorious, long winded list of g if
we could only accomplish everything, whatdo you want on the list list?
So that's not the Trump platform, that's not the Republican Party platform. Although
it does contain some very notable andimportant things, it should be accomplished.
Appreciate the call. Hey Walter, hang on, I'll get you in a

Health obviously had something to do withit, although according to the press secretary,
we all know, we can believekrane G and Pierre his decision to

It had nothing to do with hishealth. His letter, he talked
about the country, He talked aboutthe party, he talked about the moment
we're in right now. It isnot about his health. I can say,
(01:08:44):
no, that's not the reason andwhat I to say. But hear

he's behind because of policies. Couldit possibly be you may just throw this
out there. We're going to findout soon enough. Could it possibly be
(01:09:06):
that his agent his health did comeinto play because voters, when asked to
decide who they're going to vote for, decided they would not vote for Joe
Biden, or were leaning against votingfor Biden, perhaps even going for one
of the independents you had, RobertF. Kennedy Junior, or maybe a

(01:09:28):
concerned people, I'm just throwing itout there. Just maybe we'll find out
soon enough. Anyway, I mentionedthis earlier in passing gov Track, which
was cited quite often over the pastseveral days, pointing out back in twenty
nineteen, the Kamala Harris was themost liberal US Senator one hundred of a
list of one hundred different senators, she ranked the most liberal, with Bernie
(01:09:50):
Sanders coming in a close second.Go ahead to GovTrack and try to find
that page because they removed it.Interestingly, just yesterday, self described government

link was, it now says pagenot found. If you go to the
Internet Archives, it shows the paywas deleted sometime between July tenth and July
twenty third, and some people pointingout that it was still up on the
twenty second. Looking at my watch, it's the twenty fifth. So once
the media got a hold of itand put it back out there in sight
of the specific site, GovTrack said, ah, we're going to take it
(01:10:38):
down. So Fox News reached outto the GovTrack founder, a guy named
Joshua Talburr. He said the pagewas removed because the company adopted a policy,
in his words, several years agoto end its single year ratings of
lawmakers and do only ratings based oncongressional sessions obviously two years quote. We
(01:10:59):
determined that the limited data available ina singer year was not sufficient to create
a reliable portrait of the activity oflegislators, particularly given the ebbs and flows
of the legislative calendar, and thereforedid not serve as a useful tool to
our users and of the American public. We subsequently took down the previously published
single calendar year statistics for the samereason. So several years ago they changed
their policy to do two year tracking. This was twenty nineteen, and it
(01:11:25):
was up there until just a coupleof days ago. Why when he was
asked it remained up since twenty nineteen. It was only taken down a couple

The whole idea that Kamala Harris wasthe borders Are headline. Desperate media seek
(01:12:15):
to erase Kamala Harris failed borders Arerole. It's kind of reminding me of
Orwell's nineteen eighty four in the Ministryof Truth as well Axios was one that
was cited over and over again. But then now they're denying that she was
appointed borders Are. There's one articleafter another from back in twenty twenty one
(01:12:35):
when she was appointed borders Are.They call her borders Are. They talk
about her being put in a positionto address the surging migration into the United
States and Mexico. Now they're allbackpeddling and suggesting, well, no,
she was put in charge of dealingwith the root problem, which was,
well, the issues and problems goingon in Central America. Well, you
can say that, and she didsay that those are the root problems,
(01:12:57):
and we need to put in likeweather resistant crime or something to help their
economies and help them have a betterlife, so they didn't want to flee
their country and come to the UnitedStates. Fine, that's Central America where
a lot of the immigrants were coming. But as we all know now,
because of the failed border policies, what is it one hundred and fifty different
countries or something around the world thatwe've had illegal immigrants coming across the southern

border. What does Central American farmpolicy and global warming have to do with

What does it have to do withpeople from the Middle East coming in
across our southern border. I mean, on and on and on, But
don't call her borders are That's notwhat she was put in charge of.

It's a high honor and privilege tobe on your show. It's good to
be with you. I'm glad youfeel that way. What's your reaction to
(01:21:08):
Joe Biden's sort of kind of announcementlast night. I didn't really put any
flesh on the bones of why hestepped down. He said he was doing
a great job. He's in aposition to continue doing that. Great job
through the balance of his presidency, but it's time to pass the torch to
a younger generation. You take anycomfort in that, And what do you
draw from it, dlex Well,I mean, my drawing from it is
(01:21:29):
that clearly Joe Biden was pushed outby the Democratic machine, by the Wall
Street financiers who stopped funding Democratic efforts. You know, about ten twelve days
ago, Brian, there was Ithought a very very good piece of journalism
out of the Wall Street Journal thatessentially talked about how Wall Street had shut
the spigot of money to the DemocraticParty and the Democratic candates. And look,
(01:21:50):
I've been in politics a long time, and if you don't have money
to run campaigns and run those televisionads and run the camp you know,
the operations of a political party things, you know, it makes it nearly
impossible to win. So look,Joe Biden has long been under the control
of others. That's obvious. Imean, look, I mean I wish
the man well in his personal healthand well being. It's time to turn
(01:22:12):
the page from Joe Biden. Hispresidency has been another disaster for middle class
people. Middle class people pay moreat the pump, they pay more at
the grocery store. You know,it used to be the Democrats spot for
the middle class. Now they kindof fight for the elites, the cultural
elites, you know, the professorsat the universities and the you know,
the elites in Hollywood. They're notlooking out for regular middle class people.
Joe Biden abandoned those people a longtime ago. And so you know my
(01:22:36):
take on it is I expected more, frankly, I expected perhaps a unifying
moment for the country. Instead,he continued with the theme of preserving democracy.
You know, that's all they have, Brian. I mean, that's
all the Democrats have. They can'ttalk about immigration, they can't talk about
inflation, they can't talk about energyproduction, they can't talk about crime.
(01:22:57):
We talk about issues. They callour guy a threat to democracy. And
then you wonder, you know whythings happen like what happened in Pennsylvania.
Yeah, and I just asked youstraightforward, what does that mean? Do
you have any idea what they meanwhen they say Donald Trump is a threat
to democracy? You know, andthey're look and it's funny. I get
asked a lot, and I meanthis not to be flipped to you at
all. Brian, But like,I can't answer sometimes why democrats think the
(01:23:19):
way they think. You know whatI mean, Like it's position. You're
a political strategist, and you're anexcellent one, and you're you're part of
your job is to analyze the whysand the warforce, so you can respond
adequately to a charge of he's athreat to democracy if you don't even understand
what they mean by that, andhonestly I don't. They don't ever point
to any specific illustration of how itis Donald Trump represents a threat to the
(01:23:43):
republic. I just they just sayit as if we get it. I
I'm just at the loss. Imean, you know, I like to
think of myself at this is asomewhat intelligent person capable of breaking down things
and coming to some grasp about whythey're making the argument, so I can
respond to it. But I don'tknow what it means. Thans and I
share that understanding. I look,I think you and I are the same.
(01:24:04):
We're evidence based people. I saythat all the time to my staff.
Let's be evidence based. Let's lookat what the facts tell us and
then make conclusions based on that.I have no idea why they say that
I think. I think for themthough, I think scaring their base into
believing that Donald Trump is going tosomehow, you know, destroy the republic
that has stood tall through civil wars, you know, massive civil rights movements,
(01:24:28):
changes in our constitution. I mean, it's just it's the most preposterous
argument that they have. But again, Brian, the point I would want
to illustrate is that the reason theysay it again, I'm trying to understand
it is one thing, and I'mlike you, I'm struggling to understand why
they say it. But it's adodge from the issues that face the country.
Again. I filled up my cardriving back from the convention in Milwaukee.
(01:24:48):
It was sixty seven dollars in Illinois. Sixty Look, I just drive
a regular old Ford Explorer and Iput the chief gas in there, right,
So it was sixty seven dollars tofill my gas bank. If you're
a regular middle class family and you'reout there working, two parents working,
trying to you know, pay fordaycare and buy groceries, you go to
the grocery store. I mean, heck, my wife and I you know,
(01:25:09):
we belong at Costco. We're droppingthree hundred dollars a month just at
costco I mean, which is atwo of us. It's everything just costs
more. Joe Biden's America has crushedthe middle class. It absolutely has,
and they can't talk about that.So instead they point to a boogeyman in
Donald Trump, and that's I thinkthat's their only argument, and it's one
of the reasons again you continue tosee him lag in the polls. Okay,
(01:25:30):
ah, you anticipated where I wasgoing. The money dried up,
the big wigs that fun campaigns weren'tdonating anymore. The American public, in
poll after poll after poll, saidthey would not vote for Joe Biden in
larger numbers, gravitating over to DonaldTrump and giving him the advantage even in
the swing states and even making inroadsin some states that shouldn't even be up
for grabs. So did the moneydry up because Joe Biden is a an
(01:25:56):
infirm, cognitively impaired individual, ordid it dry up because his policies are
taking our country down the toilet? And if that ladder is the case,
and I truly believe the latter isthe case, then we're not getting an
alternative in Kamala Harris, We're gettingsomeone who actually is even more left leaning
than Joe Biden, no question aboutit. You know, look, I
(01:26:17):
mean, if you like Joe Biden'spolicies, then you know, then vote
for Kamala Harris. But you knowwho can like Biden's policies. That this
myth that he is perpetuating in hisown mind among Democrats, the someone saved
the country and all this job creation, I mean, the country shut down
because of Democrats, largely during COVIDand then claiming the job creation all that
(01:26:39):
stuff is non sensical. We allknow this. But look, Kamala Harris,
it couldn't even get to the Iowacaucuses. Brian. What that means
to regular folks is she never wona single vote on her way to being
the vice president. She joined JoeBiden's ticket, they barely doubt a victory
if they did it all in thelast election. But her policies again and
as a part, and I've saidthis every elected official, I talked to
(01:27:02):
every person campaigning. If we stayfocused on the policies, we win.
The American people are going to votebased on what's happening in their own households,
not on some of the superfluous thingsI don't care about Kamala Harris's race.
I don't care about her history andwho she dated. All those things
are nonsensical, Frankly Bryant, andthat's going to get me in trouble with
(01:27:23):
some of my party favorites. ButI'm going to tell you that's nonsensical.
We should be talking about Joe Biden'sinflation, his absolutely poorous southern border that's
destroying our big cities and everywhere else. We should be talking about crime and
a last fair attitude toward crime onbail that's making it unsafe to park your
car and every major city in America. I mean, we've just got real
(01:27:45):
issues and we should be talking aboutthose. And when we stay on those
kitchen table issues, i mean, look, the people in America, when
asked is the country in the righttrack of the wrong track? It's a
seventy percent of the country that saysit's on the wrong track. If we
talk to those voters about a newpath for the country, we win.
Couldn't agree with you more on that, absolutely across the board, on issues,
issues, issues, So I thinkwhat we can conclude from this this
(01:28:10):
exuberance from the left for having gottenrid of the old man, which they
keep focusing on. Right, everyone'sfucking he Oh my god, he's cognitive
impaired. Oh my god, thecat's out of the bag. Look,
George Colooney, finally a minute.Look, Nancy Pelosi, final a minute.
They are looking at not the truereason Joe Biden dropped out. What
they're looking at as a distraction.Fah my god, we got somebody new
(01:28:30):
and different. We're gonna refresh,We're gonna restart. They're not doing that
in terms of policy though. Whatthey're doing is they're excited because Joe Biden
isn't around. They maybe they improperlybelieve that the only reason he was lagging
in the polls is because of hiscognitive impairment. They got rid of that
part, but they didn't get ridof the policies. So will this actually
work for them? Asking you toread your tea leaves, Alex No,
(01:28:53):
I think this. I think KamalaHarris right now is getting a small bump.
You've seen it in some of thepolling respawning media, which has been
over the top. That's not unexpressed, that's not unexpected, right, the
fawning coverage. But look, Imean when this thing settles out, she
will enjoy whatever little bump she's getting. Is the new candidate. The American
people are going to ultimately ask thetimeless what is now a timeless question in
(01:29:15):
American politics? And you know it, Brian, as well as anybody.
Are you better off now than youwork four years ago? And when asked
that question, there's a single Americanwho can honestly say that their situation,
the situation of this country is betteroff now than it was four years ago.
Again on questions of inflation, crime, immigration, you know what's happening
with wars all across the world thatthreaten ultimately threatened American national security. Iron's
(01:29:41):
on the rise again. You seewhat's happening in Israel. I mean,
we have serious world global problems. And if you think that the last four
years and American weakness is the answer, well then you know you're in the
thirty percent that think the country's onthe right track. But for most Americans,
they're going to ask themselves that question. And if I'm reading the tea

be clear with you, is theparty leader in this state. We're not
(01:30:03):
taking it for granted. We've gotprograms up and down the ballot to help
drive Republican turnout, et cetera.I'm not overconfident, but I like very

his team are with you from themoment you get insured through them, all

lawsuit filed that Trump filed with theFEC about the money going to Kamala Harris
from Joe Biden's campaign? Is thereany merit to the argument, Alex?
It seems this campaign finance law seemsrather convoluted. If you read it.
(01:33:21):
Yeah, I'll confess to not havingread it. I know about the lawsuit.
You know we support it that thereis an argument though for sure,
that the money was intended to goto Joe Biden's campaign and not for Kamala
Harris's campaign. So, look,do I place great hope and that the
answer is no. I think asRepublicans we should get ready to battle Tamala
(01:33:44):
Harris in the literally millions and millionsof elitist Wall Street dollars in Hollywood,
elitist dollars that will float to ourcampaign. So again, I don't have
a great answer for you, Brian. I apologize, I'm aware of it.
I saw a basic memo that wassent to us from some of in
Maryland that we just kind of briefedus about what it was about. But
I can't say more than to saythat I understand those efforts are underway.
(01:34:06):
I support efforts to making sure thatKamala Harris and the Biden people are in
compliance with federal law. But Idon't want for one minute to be distracted
from what we need to focus onover the next seventy days or so before
early voting starts, and that isto defeat her in the money machine,
the absolute money machine that flows fromthe elite people in this country who care
(01:34:28):
very little about the middle class andwhat middle class Americans are dealing with.
So that's the best I can tellyou about that lawsuit. All right,
fair enough, didn't we catch youoff guard? But I had a couple
of listeners who were curious about that. So it's always worthwhile at least asking,

don't want to be critical of Berniebecause I like the guy. I want
him to win. I'll do anythingI can to help him win. Kind
of low on everybody's radar at thispoint, just because it's the summertime still,
I mean, we are keeping hispowder dry in terms of money and
resources. Alex, you know that'san interesting thing. Actually, I'm glad
(01:35:12):
you brought it up, because youknow, candidly, I'm around Ohio so
much that I see Bernie everywhere.I fundamentally see him everywhere. I put
it on my social media in caseeverybody thinks I'm just making that up.
I see him everywhere. Here's Ithink what you're seeing. I think.
Look, Shared Brown did not havea primary, and he has spent over
fifty million dollars in television advertising.Because Shared Brown had an advantage without a
(01:35:35):
primary and spent fifty million dollars inthe first five months of the year doesn't
mean Bernie's not campaigning. He certainlyis. He's campaigning very hard. There's
a recently released public poll that showsBernie at three point six percent down.
That is within the margin of errorfor a person Brian who's never been on
the ballot. Jared Brown is acareer politician, having run since nineteen seventy.
(01:36:00):
This man has been on the ballot. He's a career politician, Chared
Brown, so he has the nameidentification advantage. He had the money advantage
because he didn't have a primary. But this race, the American people of
the Ohioans at this point have notyet focused on this race the way a
lot of us on the inside have. Bernie Marino is well positioned. Let
me share a couple more things withyou. If you look at that publicly
available poll, so I'm not givingaway any insider information. He is down
(01:36:23):
by fewer percentage points than jd Vancewas who ultimately won that race. We
have a big advantage at the topof the ticket. That same poll has
Donald Trump at twelve percentage point victoryhere in Ohio. So anybody who's worried
about Bernie Marino want to know that. Look, that's going to be a
close race. It's an entrenched careerpolitician. Bernie Marino is at first time
candate. But the money is flowing. It will be there. And when
(01:36:44):
you see the ads ramp up andyou'll see them, and trust me when
I tell you this Bright trust me, you can have me back on anytime
you like. You will be sickof Bernie Marino and Share Brown ad by
trying to get to the election. So we're going to point out Shared Brown's
career history being tied to Joe Bidenand to the Democrat administration. He has
been the best friend to the pidonthe Biden Harris administration of any senator in
(01:37:09):
the country. He has a votingrecord that looks like Elizabeth Warrens. The
Ohioans are going to understand that, and you're going to see Bernie Marino win
this race. That's where I amon that. I love your confidence,

talk Shared Brown versus Bernie Morino.Donovan. Alex said, the one poll
(01:41:36):
that's out, Bernie's only behind bythree and a half points, which is
within the margin of error. Veryoptimistic. Conversation with Alex about Bernie's chances
here in the state of Ohio, and he said, by the time the
election comes, we will be overwhelmedwith ads from Bernie Moreno and of course
Shared Brown, who's already been runninga lot of ads on television, which
(01:41:57):
regularly needs leads me to ask, well, where is Bernie then, And
according to Alex, Bernie's all overthe state. He's doing personal appearances,
Q and A sessions. It's justthat they haven't started really in earnest running
television ads, but that's coming soon. Donovan. Yeah, I think you
know, Chairman Alex t is absolutelyright. You know, Americans for Prosperity
Action, we endorsed Bernie Moreno.I was actually just with some of our
(01:42:21):
team getting some recordings of ohioans forsome ads will be running talking about how
Sharon Brown has failed them and whywe need an outsider like Bernie Moreno.
So hold tight, Brian, thecalvaries coming. What we're doing right now
though, is knock indors, talkingto folks in the communities about and introducing
(01:42:44):
them to Bernie Moreno and talking aboutShared Brown's failed record for all the years
he's been in Washington. Well, and that's what I mean, this is
the primary point we're making in thepresidential election. You know, Joe Biden's
failed policies I think was the mostprominent reas and that they pulled the plug
on his campaign. He's policies ledus to this particular state we find ourselves
(01:43:05):
in the country. Sure, he'scognitively impaired, but I think even despite
his cognitive impairment, if things weregoing along swimmingly right now, if the
American people were content and the grocerybills weren't through the roof and we didn't
have a border crisis, that Bidenmay very well have even been ahead in
the polls. I mean, they'vegot a built in Pavlovian response when it
comes to Donald Trunk Trump among halfthe American people. So that's in their
(01:43:27):
advantage. But what it boils downto is policy and Shared Brown is a
mirror image of Biden. Policies.Am I right? Absolutely? Well.
Again, one of the questions thatwe've actually got I've had from a few
folks, the more supporters, AndI even heard it a little bit on
the doors this past Saturday when Iwas out there knocking doors. Hey,
if Biden steps down, because rememberthis was Saturday, he stepped on Sunday.
(01:43:49):
If Biden steps down? Is thisyou know? Is Biden Onmic's over?
Like, do we not have toworry about that anymore? And the
reality is, Brian, No,It's more than just Joe Biden. You
know. Shared Brown has been inWashington, has been in politics for thirty
years. He you know, thesepolicies that underpin by donomics, high spending,
(01:44:11):
top down solutions, government intrusion andinvolvement in our lives. That's what
underpins by dynomics. And we've gotto make sure that we cut through the
noise and connect folks to not justthe guy in the Oval office that makes
these decisions. Shared Brown has takenvotes as well. He's taken votes that
has moved and moved our national debt. We're pushing thirty five trillion dollars in
(01:44:34):
national debt right now. I tooka look a while back, between two
thousand and eight ten, we wereat nearly somewhere between about about ten trillion
dollars Shared Brown has been in office, Brian twenty five trillion dollars in national
debt we've accumulated during Shared Brown's tenureas a US Senator out of the state
(01:44:58):
of Ohio. I just think that'sunaccepted, and we're going to take that
message to the masses across the state. And you know, one of the
other messages and I and I talkedto this about with Alex and I've mentioned
a million times on the program.I don't even know what the hell it
means, threat to democracy. Imean, that's just their default throwaway talking
point when it comes to the threatthe Republicans or Donald Trump or whoever poses
(01:45:18):
to the country, What does thatmean? And in what way, shape
or form are we talking about that? But when it comes to the other
pivotal issue, of course, abortion, and I don't believe it's within the
purview of the federal I'm going toeven touch it anymore because of that Supreme
Court decision. But the choice istheir argument, Yeah, depriving the Americans
of choice, you're letting you notlet me have a chance. What about
(01:45:40):
school choice? I mean, isn'tthat an issue that gravitates and works really
well among people of various political stripes. I mean, the Republicans are far
more in favor of giving people theopportunity to choose the education system children going
into than the Democrats. They're lockstepin it with the teachers' unions, which
have failed our children. Yeah. No, absolutely, And well I think
(01:46:01):
part of the conversation that we reallyneed, you know, work. We're
pushing one hundred days to the election. Believe it or not, This coming
Sunday will be one hundred days toNovember fifth. What folks really need to
be focused in on in the conversationsthey have with their friends and neighbors is
what you call those kitchen table issues, the issues that are pacting everybody families
(01:46:25):
when it comes to education choice, like you're talking about, Brian, Are
we going to elect some Are wegoing to elect folks who, when they
go to Columbus or Washington are goingto work to advance empowering families with education
opportunity. Are they going to workto rein in out of control spending that's
fueling the inflation that we feel whenwe go to the grocery store, are
(01:46:45):
they going to be working to unleashenergy abundance. That's that for right now.
Under this administration in the recent yearshave cost us more at the pumpultating
fifty percent more at the pump thanwhen Joe Biden took off the four years
ago. And then are we goingto secure our border? Folks? There
were some recent polling done that shows, you know, more and more Americans
(01:47:09):
are frustrated with this country's immigration policiesand feel we need to massively curb our
immigration policies in this country. Ithink we need to have a secure border
and we need Washington to get seriousabout about creating an immigration system that all
work so that the folks, thebest and the brightest from around the world
can come to this country and livetheir American dream. Like Bernie Moreno his
(01:47:30):
filmy game illegally from Columbia, hefound his American dream. He chose to
create a business in northeast oll Highland. Now he's looking to serve our state.
Those are the kind of folks wewant to come to the country.
But until we get folks in officein Washington. D. C. Plumost
who are going to tackle these typesof issues that people care about. We're
going to get team have problems, and we really need to focus on connecting
(01:47:53):
our friends and neighbors to those issuesand not let the other noise like this
threat to democracy all these other thingsthat the ground that the progresses want to
try to engage on because they can'twin on those issues, right, they
can't win on the issues of energy, border security, and the economy.
But we can because we've got betterideas. Yes, I do believe we
(01:48:13):
do, and Bernie Marino is theman to do the job. Of course,
all we can do to help Berniema Reno out. And one of
the things you can do is goto Americans for Prosperity AFP action dot com,
Right, Donovan, Yeah, AFPaction dot com over there, sign

Orlando Sanza. I know you're supportingOrlando and doing what you can to give
him elected. Of course, awonderful choice over Greg Lansman, who a
judge actually said should never hold publicoffice again because of the Gang of Five
issues on since II City Council.I think Orlando is a stellar candidate.
(01:49:00):
Orlando came out first met Orlando lastyear. He came We did one of
these gas price rollbacks. We rolledthe price of gas back to it.
It was with Joe Biden took officetwo thirty four gallon, by the way,
it was a lot cheaper four yearsago, and Orlando came out.
He's deeply connected to the problems inWashington. Record of service, phenomenal community
(01:49:25):
leader. We've been excited to endorsehim. We've here some very early on
this year and are excited to beout there because again, the problem is
the the Bidenomics isn't just Joe Biden. He's attributable for a lot of it
for setting that vision, but folkslike Greg Landsman, just like Shared Brown
and Greg Lambs. In short timeWashington, he's helped vote and fuel the
(01:49:49):
national debt and the spending for thatis costing us more at the grocery store.
Power of the purse lives in Congress, President and screaming thee on one
as many or as few policies ashe but it's up to Congress to decide.
And of course you got a recordto run on, and Sharon Brown's

run into an issues campaign to run. I was talking about inflationary problems.
Last hour got a whole bunch ofother information about inflation. Used car prices,
(01:53:03):
for example, have gone through theroof. You know, the average
price of a new car is aboutfifty thousand dollars. That's just mind boggling
to me. So everybody's turning touse cars. A ten year old car.
According to Icy Car Study, theydid a study of one hundred and
(01:53:25):
sixty nine million used cars sold overthe last ten years. Average price of
a ten year old car is nowtwelve thousand and change and flipped back ten
years ago was only seven five hundreddollars. Hum, Joe said, thanks
cash for clunkers. That's not fair. That's a terrible organization, Joe.
(01:53:53):
Anyway, market share of used carsback in twenty twenty was fifteen percent.
That's a I jumped up to nineteam percent by twenty twenty two. The
price also went up precipitously, withmore people out there in the used car
market. That's when the price wentover twelve thousand dollars, up from nine
twenty twenty. And every kind ofcar you can think of is popular among
(01:54:13):
the used cars, including Sedan's hatchbacksand apparently wagons station wagons exceedingly popular,
like the Subaru wagon. Anyhow, that's expensive. Of course, the price
gasolin, which Alex Tranthafila was lamentingas he had to pay sixty seven dollars
to fill up his Explorer with cheapgas. Obviously, that is weighing on
people's hearts and minds inflationary realities. So question. As the Democrats rally behind
(01:54:39):
Kamala Harris, it's worth pointing thatJason Rawley did a good job on this
one. From the Wall Street primary. Voters did reject her only four years
ago, and she didn't even makeit to the Iowa caucuses. I wonder
why Democrats did not embrace Kamala Harrisand did the rank and file Democrats change
their mind. I know there's exuberantout there within the Democrats, just simply
(01:55:00):
because they rid themselves of a weight, which was Joe Biden. But I
keep pointing out this morning, Ithink more of the weight brought about from
the policies rather than the old man'scognitive decline. He could have stayed in
the job as long as he wasalive with a pulse, even though he's
not capable of interacting with people.Because he has people around him who were
making all the decisions, you getthe same team. That's if his policies
(01:55:23):
were successful. But as Alex pointedout, all the money dried up and
disappeared. Why did that happen?People were not supportive of Joe Biden,
and why weren't they supportive of JoeBiden? Do you think it really was
all about his cognitive decline? Doyou think it's the state we find ourselves
in American history? This rally pointsout, you know, Democrats are gonna
(01:55:46):
have to grapple with Ms. Harris'scoastal progressive and which she progressive ism when
she epitomizes as part of the reasonthat she and other hard left candidates flamed
out four years ago when the partychose Biden as at standardbery. You remember
those when Biden, the great moderate, the guy that could reach across the
aisle, that was going to uniteus, all that was going to make
us all feel better that none ofthat happened. The left took over the
(01:56:08):
party, a left that the Democratsrejected in selecting Joe Biden as the candidate.
As Rolly points out, Galliperford thismonth, fifty five percent of the
United States adult adults want immigration levelsreduced, up from forty one percent just
one year ago, and the highestlevel that it's been since two thousand and
(01:56:29):
one. Who's responsible for that figure? Changing the Biden administration, the Biden
policies which Kamala Harris supported fully.Oh and notably was it put in charge
of I mean, it's you're goingto have to remember that is a huge
weight that she carries around her, being responsible for the border and the border
insecurity. According to Gallop, theshifts and attitudes have come after monthly illegal
(01:56:57):
border crossings reached record levels late lastyear. Month measure of most important problem
facing the country finds immigration consistently rankingamong the top issues of the year.
The person responsible for border is thecandidate for the Democrats. It's a top
ranking issue. It's like number oneor two in America on consistent polling over
(01:57:23):
and over again. Who owns that? Did you free yourself? Of that
reality when you got rid of JoeBiden. No oh, and you know,
by the way, it's worth notingthat Joe Biden did solidify the reality
that Donald Trump's border policies were goodin spite of the criticism he faced while
he was in office. Joe Bidenjust undid the Kamala, Harris Well and
(01:57:44):
Biden border policies the other day.And guess what, the number of immigrants
crossing the border illegally stropped. Andthey're now around touting that immigration illegal immigration
is lower than it was when DonaldTrump left office. Well, why yeah,
within the last couple of weeks.Maybe I'll even give you a nod
to that one. Great, youput Donald Trump's policies back in the American
(01:58:06):
people get what they've been demanding. In Harris, Democrats are offering a Kennedy
who was put in charge of addressingthe border crisis and who failed so miserably
at that task that more than halfof the country is now demanding a reduction
in immigration. It's also a favoritereparations too, which more than two to
(01:58:31):
one Americans reject the idea of reparations. And you might think it's good conceptually,
much in the same way you mightthink that Kamala Harris's push for medicare
for all is good conceptually. I'mgoing to pivot back over to something Alex
brought up and to bring up allthe time thirty four coming up with thirty
(01:58:53):
five trillion dollars in national debt broughtabout by government policies already on the books.
What are you going to cut outmake room to pay for fill in
the blank reparations, universal health care? And when we get rid of all
the fossil fuels, which she's infavor of. I don't know. I
(01:59:13):
like the fact that plastics are available. It's uh, it's it's quite convenient
to carry something home in a plasticbottle as opposed to a glass bottle.
But that's just one little small factorin dealing with the oil and gas industry.
See what Mark Scott, Hey,Mark, thanks for calling this morning.
Welcome to the fifty five KRC MorningShow. Yeah, real quick,
Brian talking about that clash for clunkers. I remember when they when they did
(01:59:35):
that with Obama did that. Thatwas his greatest thing. And my brother
he used to work for super aHonda. He worked for he was a
mechanic for years. And I rememberwhen they would bring them cars in.
They would have some really nice usedcars that could be put on a lot
to be sold and sell them. They had to dump the stuff in there.
(01:59:58):
Yeah, they had to ruin theen and you know the engine kill
the engine. Wasn't it like sandor something They were ordered to put in
there, and and and and andfreeze up the cylinders or something along those
lines. You know what it was. It was a jug they dumped in
there. And what the sad issaying? Uh? When after they did
that, a lot of people werecome in looking for used cars, just
not there other places, but therewas no used cars that you could buy
(02:00:23):
because they don't deestroyed them all reallygood cars. It was crazy, you
know what. And I apologize becausewhen Joe said to my ears cash for
clunkers, and I repeated it outloud, I was thinking of like the
uh, the cars for Kids typeprogram or the Good Wills. And I
know you're right though. You you'rethe one that reminded me of the cash
for colnkerors program, which was Obama'sidea to get old cars off the road
(02:00:45):
in the name of in the environment. Right, how do they how do
they? How do folks living onlife's lower margins feel about that? Upon
hindsight recognizing the used cars have gonethrough the roof because the new cars are
so expensive, Right, it's crazy, you know, it's crazy out is
nowadays, and you know you're tryingto you know, you can't even afford
a new car and you want totry to get a used one. At
(02:01:08):
the time, you couldn't even getone because it was desjoyed. I forgot
all about that program. Mark.It was such a stupid program for all
the reasons you're talking about. Andthen we get to live the reality.
Oh, once again the government comingin to help us, right right,
exactly, Mark, exactly, Thankyou, Mark, I appreciate your reminding
me of that absolutely horrifically stupid ideathat did harm the poorest of Americans the
(02:01:31):
most. Thanks exactly. Take careof brother eight fifteen fifty five cares of
the talk station five one, three, seven, four, nine fifty five
hundred, eight hundred and eight totwo three talk God. It was a
dumb idea, wasn't it. Andwho's the Party of the poor and downtrodden?
Huh? Greta Thunberg is happy thatyou can't afford a car, though,
Remember that UH us a insulation. This is a way to save money,
(02:01:55):
folks. I strongly encourage folks tocall us a insulation if you're not
sure if you have sufficient insulation inthe exterior walls of your home, just
call for a free inspection. Theycan do that. Like my daughter,
I love using her as an examplebecause it's a real thing. We bought
her the phone for the exterior wallsbecause the inspection from USA revealed that her
late seventies build house had R twelvein it that is now decades old,
(02:02:17):
and that R twelve is no longereven an R twelve. It reduces its
insulative quality over the time. Butwith deterioration in went the premium phone.
Now they're enjoying the comfort and theenergy savings each and every year they live
in that house, and I thinkit was a nice and nice present to
give them as a housewarming present.I know they truly appreciate it, and
you will too. If your homeneeds insulation, the USA folks can let
(02:02:39):
you know if it has no insulationin it. Because your home was built
before the mid seventies, it isan absolute top priority for you as a
homeowner because you get comfort guaranteed fromthe day they install it, and then
that energy saving is also guaranteed. So if you pay for the exterior walls
and the phone that goes in them, you'll get a free attic, insulation
free, and then you get twelvehundred dollars off the top. Next year
(02:03:00):
when you're doing your taxes, there'san energy tax credit from the federal government
trying to get you to do whatyou should do anyway, which is be
comfortable and save money. It's theright thing to do at all times.
But take advantage of that because it'slaying right there twelve hundred dollars three eight

more online, just go to USAinstallation dot net. The Democrats are not
(02:03:24):
hiding their panic, recording Biden's patheticperformance as the Dems panic spreads a total
debacle and we are in danger.Desperate times, call for desperate measures,
and campaign chaos ensues. If wedon't win this election, this country is
done. People have to stand upand say enough. It's giving us a
whole lot to talk about data field. We're gonna take it no matter what
(02:03:46):
they try to do to try fiftyfive KRC the talk station our iheard radio

umber of people with criminal convictions caughtit in the United States illegally per month,
criminal convictions entering illegally per month theywere it was on a record record
(02:04:09):
highccording to the US Customs and BorderProtection. So in spite of the fact
that they have I guess cut downto the number overall acrossing the border,
the number of illegal immigrants that arecriminals has increased figures from earlier this month
average of fourteen hundred and fifty ninecriminal illegal aliens per month acrossing the US
border unlawfully since the fiscal year beganlast October, every single month, hum
(02:04:34):
I said, if the trend continues, we'll have seventeen thousand criminals caught by
the border folks coming across illegally sofar or so far and we're almost into

Russian coal is being exported to Indiathrough Iran, apparently for the first
(02:05:48):
time, on the railway that theybuilt. Yes, they have a railway
going from Iran or from Russia toIndia through Iran. Head of Islamic Republican
of Iran Railways, Guiani my Saliawhatever said on Saturday, that's seven freight
wagons containing ninety five hundred tons ofRussian coal exported to India through Iran's railway
(02:06:11):
track over the last forty days, the first time in the history of that
railway. You said, expressed hopethat China and Russia and this route to
India would continue, would increase continuously. So Russia gets the fund its economy.
(02:06:32):
It's military whatever Russia wants to fundwith coal coming out of the ground
that's supposed to be so evil anddirty that we're not even allowed to touch
it anymore, although they do digit out of the ground and sell it
to foreign lands. Go ahead andtry to figure that one out. Why
are we cutting our own throats whilethe rest of the world gets to use
these products coal, natural gas oil? The two largest countries in the world
(02:06:57):
use it all the time, andChina. So if you're a worshipper at
that church, why do they geta pass. Why isn't this something that's
being discussed policy? It's your policy, don't understand. It's all injuring America.
(02:07:24):
Our economy suffers mightily because of this, while the rest of the world
moves on its way in the rightdirection. Uh boy, it's frustrating,
It really, really, really is. But we do have choices. Get
engaged, get involved, and getout and vote. Americans for Prosperity is

Delta's kind of been the one we'vebeen watching of late, and yesterday
they had a decent day. Ithink yesterday they Delta only canceled. I
think it was what fifty four flightswhich was not bad. They had twelve
hundred and thirty eight that were delayed, but that's okay. It's the cancelations
that's a big number. But Deltais kind of known as the carrier that
(02:11:11):
is known around the world as theone that has the best completion factor.
They cancel fewer flights than anyone.I remember a time when Delta went one
hundred consecutive days without a single flightcancelation anywhere on the planet. Wow.
And this past weekend they had ina week. Can you imagine having more
cancelations in a two or three dayperiod of time, then you have the
(02:11:35):
entire year. That's how bad itwas for Delta and other airlines. It
started with the low cost carriers forsome reason on Thursday evening after six and
then come Friday morning, we hadDelta United Americans just grounded for a period
of time until they were able toget things back up and running. Delta's
transition was slowed because they were havingissues with their crew scheduling program. As
(02:11:58):
I understand it, the communication betweenthe systems wasn't as rapid as it needed
to be. They were doing somethings manually. It was an absolute mess.
Now you know the one airline thatwas zero affected, which Southwest.
No kidding, because why they didn'tuse computers. They're thirty four years old,
(02:12:18):
so they're so old they didn't needthe updates. So they were the
only ones. Like, yeah, what you think of us now? So
I mean it's they're using Apple orsomething like that, didn't use crowds.
Oh that's no, they got theirfinal quarter floppy and strive still working.
I tell you frequently the seven fortyseven still receive upgrades in the cockpit using
(02:12:39):
floppy discs. Oh that's hard tobelieve. Well, on some that's exactly
the case, so you know, but they're used for cargo, and those
are beautiful airplanes, but they're they'rethey're gas guzzlers, four big engines,
and that's why around the world, for the most part, they've been taken
out of custom passenger service. Likehere in the US you still have several
carriers that are flying them around theworld from a passenger standpoint, but no,
(02:13:03):
sadly those have been relegated for themost part to cargo aircraft. And
just what a beautiful airplane it is. They still using a vacuum tubes in
there. Hurry crank pedal. Yeah, it's something, but I say,
for a lot of people that I'vetalked to, it's the favorite aircraft to
fly, no doubt. Anyhow,it's just a shocking illustration to me,
(02:13:24):
moving aside from you know it obviouslyit impacted airlines, but so many businesses
around the world were impacted by thisone single company and one single upgrade to
this one single cybersecurity system. Itjust freaks the hell out of me considering,
you know, the other implications likeif something else were to craft something
that we all use and you know, like cryptocurrency or something, what happens
(02:13:46):
there was a glitch on that, how do you possibly you can't buy anything,
You couldn't fly a plane over theweekend because of this. It's just
blah. Computer. It is areminder of that when things go wrong,
even in a little way, ourlife and be impacted in a big way.
And you know, we talk aboutstocks all the time, and one
of the things you do is youdiversify. You never have too much in
(02:14:07):
one security and when you have toomuch dependence on a certain thing, which
for us is automation and computer andyou know, as we're moving more towards
the artificial intelligence and going deeper inthat regard. There's some very concerning things
as you go down that road, because if they do backfire, if they
do shut down, if they're outfor whatever period of time, if they're
(02:14:28):
hacked, or something like this justhappens where you had mistakes that were made,
Yeah, it's something. And youtalk about the hundreds of thousands of
passengers, not only from Delta butother airlines around the country where people for
three and four days that were desperatelytrying. We still have some people now
at airports that are trying to getthere, and the ones that have gotten
(02:14:50):
a hold of me, I've toldthem, look, the best option is
to give the agent alternatives. Ifyou're trying to get to Orlando, tell
them, look, Daytona Beach isokay, Tampa's Bete's okay. I'll go
to Jacksonville as long as I canrent a cart my expense to get there.
And you always make sure there's oneavailable Bryd to give the options because
the idea of every plane nearly beingfilled already because of the busy summer travel
(02:15:13):
season, and then you have aflight cancels at one hundred and three people
we're you gonna put them. Imean, there's just no place to put
them. It's almost six thousand flightstoo. That's just a delta you've got.
I mean, it's again, theInsta are the number one airline and
completion factor. And that's why alot of people, including me making my
carrier of choice because I can counton getting Now, I'm always going to
(02:15:35):
try to catch the first flight outin the day because your chances of that
being on time are far greater thana flight later in the day that may
come after a day of weather delaysthat Satali are going to catch up on
that three or four or five pmflight. So all right, well we'll
bring Jay Rattliffe back. In thenext thingment. We'll talk about Catman Dude,
an Apaul plane crash, American Airlines, flight attenants, supporting a deal,
(02:15:56):
among other topics with Jay rattl Ifyou have KC detaxation and I get
to mention chimney Care, fireplace andstove love those folks, boy, they
really helped me out. An inspectioncan reveal some problems and that's why I
always recommending, you know, takecare of your comfort during the months when
you don't need the fireplace that's now, or take care of you your ear
safety that's now. Then you enjoythe comfort with peace of mind. So
(02:16:18):
you know when I had Chimneycare fireplaceand stove out to my house, I
mean Jeff keeper from the Chimney Carefireplaces though, he just kind of shook
his head and he gave me thislook like, yeah, you don't want
to use that. Well, it'sbecause there was a heat venting issue and
its building up heat behind the firebox. It was a builder special thing anyway,
dangerous situation and I wasn't aware ofit. That's the beauty of an
(02:16:39):
inspection. So out the old wentand in went the new. I got
a new fireplace insert from the ChimneyCare fireplace and stove a new lining.
It's amazing, It looks great,it works great. Absolutely could not be
happier. That's the way you're gonnabe. So take care of the inspection.
They'll do a video camera inspection ofyour flu needs to be swept.
You get certified chimney sweep there that'lldo that. Maybe you got water damage
(02:17:00):
you don't even know about. That'spossible. They take care of everything.
Tuck pointing cap and damper replacement, the sweeping. Oh. Parenthetically, get
them to clean your dryer vent out. I know if you haven't, you
can't remember the last time you cleanedyour dryer. Event it's clogged, I
can almost guarantee it. That's justan energy problem, but also it's a
safety problem as well. Venting iscritical. So for all things fireplaces,
(02:17:22):

Jay, And I don't know ifyou know anything about our military defense or
nor Red or anything. I don'tknow if you saw it right before Biden's
speech last night, there were twoRussian TU ninety five bear bombers along with
two Chinese EH six bombers found offthe coast of Alaska. We had to
scramble our jets and intercept them tokeep them from coming into our airspace or
(02:18:07):
something like that. That's just scaryin and of itself. But you know
the fact that the Chinese and theRussians apparently coordinating bomber runs near the coast
of Alaska, that's freaky. Andknowing we're going to do absolutely nothing about
it. Yeah, I mean,if you, if you have certain people
in that in that Oval office, those types of things tend to not happen.
Thank you for putting an exclamation pointon the subtle point I was making
(02:18:30):
Jay Rattler, all right, let'sgo over to Catman Do. What the
hell? Only one survivor and whatan amazing thing that anybody could survive.
Yeah, this was a this wasa flight out of Catman Do. And
it was a Napoleon Airline, soaairlines, and it was a regional jet.
It was a CRG Bombardier two hundredseries. It's the fifty passenger jet
(02:18:54):
that we came to know under comAir. It's taking off because this particular
aircraft it was taken out of passengerservice and they were taking it to another
location for some maintenance work to bedone. So on this flight, you
had nineteen total souls on board, you had fifteen technicians, you had two
extra crew members, and you hadtwo family members that were traveling along,
(02:19:16):
so nineteen altogether. And the videofrom the airport's just terrific. It takes
off and it doesn't get much altitudeat all before it banks to one side
and slams into the ground. Ofcourse, fully fueled up in flames,
it goes and amazingly the captain survives. Now the family as of the last
report I saw of everyone on boardthis airplane, which again I guess you
(02:19:37):
can consider mostly company employees or contractors. They're trying to find out what the
maintenance issue was on this aircraft theywere going to fix, and it was
serious enough that it should have beenfixed before takeoff. So a lot of
questions right now, and sadly youhave no answers. And you know,
Nepoll's not known for its exemplary safetyrecord aim so imagine, Yeah, it's
(02:19:58):
that's why the reasons if you're flyingto different parts of the world where you're
kind of thinking, hey, Idon't know any of these airlines, go
to the State Department's website and theyhave lists of airlines that we should consider
avoiding. That's all this airline wason there. But it's always good when
you're traveling because those advisories from theState Department can really come out or come
in handy. Now they'll tell uswhich parts of the world we should avoid
(02:20:22):
or which one have a heightened riskwhere we need to be aware. And
so for a lot of people thatlike to take some of those exotic trips,
and you know, Sharon, I'vebeen on several of them, one
of the things you do as yourhomework is to find out if the airlines
you're flying you need to look outfor. So, because when we were
in China for two weeks, oneof the airlines was Lucky Air. And
I can promise you I checked outLucky Air in China before we got anywhere
(02:20:45):
near it. Imagine that's just that'sjust tempting fate in China. Well,
Lunky Air sound advice in terms ofto my listeners that the State Department has
a list of things to avoid interms of airlines' Oh yes, that's solid
information right there, thank you,Jay. And you know, it reminds
me that what Leonard skinnered crash.I mean, they knew the plane had
needed had problems, and yet theygot on anyway and flew it. I
(02:21:05):
mean, is this crash directly relatedto the problems that this plane was going
to be treated for or do wedon't know yet. We don't know wait
purely because it may have been anothermechanical issue. It could have been pilot
air it could have been a lotof different things that might have taken place,
and it could have and the speedsuggests not. But one of the
things to look at it was thereany contaminations in the fuel. I mean,
(02:21:26):
if water gets in the fuel,it can it can cause the engines
to stop working. But the waythis thing banked and fell it looked like
something more than that, because thenthe aircraft turns into a glider and the
pilots have to find it what limitedaltitude the rat a way to get that
airplane on the ground safely. Herethe crew didn't have any time at all,
(02:21:46):
it would appear from what happened. And there's lots of times that we
have mechanical issues on aircraft that aredeferable. They're not considered a Nogo situation
where yeah, we've got this situation. It's not something that's going to be
directly tied into the actual peration ofthe aircraft, and we can defer it
till this aircraft gets to the nextmaintenance up. That way, we don't
have to cancel the flight. Soif you see an airplane, it's a
(02:22:07):
lot like when people look out thewindow and they see what appears to be
duct tape on the wings. It'snot. It's the high speed aviation tape.
And what happens is sometimes one ofthe many thousands and thousands of rivets
we have that are on the aircraft, maybe a couple of them come off
and there might be a slight, you know, flap issue where you've got
with the caling engine or something thatis kind of bouncing back and forth.
(02:22:30):
We slept that high speed tape onthere by the mechanics, and then until
it gets to the next maintenance facility, that's taken off and those those rivets
are replaced or installed. So alot of times you see that you're thinking,
oh my gosh. You know, they take the engine nown and it's
a deferbile item. It's something that'svery well controlled and the pilots and the
mechanics in the airlines make sure thateverything is safe as it needs to be,
(02:22:52):
so it don't panic. It's notduct tape, I promise, high
speed aviation tape. Well, i'dsay a rose. Just go row image
and you'll see tons of pictures ofthis stuff with people freaking now they look
out the window. Well, I'djust say a rose Blane in the name
would still smell sweet. I'd stillsay it's a duct tape. Anyway,
moving on, I can call itthat. It's not a lot more expensive
(02:23:13):
than duct tape, I imagine. So let's move to the Southwest airplane.
I thank god this one didn't crashinto the ocean down to one hundred and
fifty feet. Brian, we talkedabout Southwest four different times on them.
Yeah, we had the flight outof Honolulu, took off, got to
one thousand feet and then all ofa sudden started to send to four hundred
feet before they corrected the altitude anddecided to come back and land in Honolulu.
(02:23:35):
Then we had a flight into Omahathat was supposed to be at three
thousand feet nine miles out. Theywere buzzing a neighborhood at twelve thirty in
the morning at five hundred feet. Then there was another situation. Then we
had this one going into Tampa, which the aircraft I think was supposed to
be at two thousand feet or soand they were at one hundred and what
seventy like fifty three meters or somethingoff the ground, dangerously low. And
(02:23:56):
you have time after time after timewhere even with all the technology that's at
the disposal of this highly trained crew, we've had multiple situations that, for
whatever the reason, the aircraft, yes they're boeing, but they're on final
approach into some of these airports, are taking off and there's a very serious
altitude issue, and I can't beginto explain or try to understand what's causing
(02:24:16):
it, because airlines in the cockpit, you've got so many redundant type things
that you can look at, oneof them being the pilots, who are
going to know when you're one hundredand eighty feet off the ground, when
you're many miles from the airport. That's just it shouldn't be happening. But
it continues to. And the FAAhas opened up a safety audit to try
(02:24:37):
to find out exactly what's going onhere, and they need to because this
is unbelievably scary. Yeah, I'dhave to change my shorts after I got
off a flight that flint dropped downa hundred fifty feet. When it happened
in Honolulu, I thought, okay, they came back because they said there
was quote weather issues. I thought, prabb, it might have been something
happened in the cockpit where a mistakewas made, whatever. But to have
(02:24:58):
one after another after another after another, No, that in that short period
of time. You know, Iused to think, Okay, maybe it
was a training thing that's changed orsomething, but no, you've got too
much technology in that cockpit. Andthese are I mean, these are professionals.
These are a lot of these individualsas we've talked about former military podcasts,
and those folks are trained to thehilt. Believe you me, they
(02:25:20):
know what they're doing and then someso to have this happen like this just
defies my ability to understand what's takingplace. Well, if you don't get
it, I certainly wouldn't. Anyway, it sounds like what could be good
news. American Airline flight attendants arepretty reportedly reaching a deal. Yeah,
it looks like they've been able toreach a deal finally with management and they
(02:25:41):
need to, because we've talked abouthow these flight attendants make like twenty seven
thousand dollars a year when they initiallybegin solo. In fact, in the
state of Massachusetts, they actually qualifyfor food stamps even though they are working
full time, which is crazy. But I'm glad to see it because the
flight attendant certainly need this, andI'll be anxious to see the details in
(02:26:03):
the new contract because the old onedid not have them getting paid when the
flights are boarding into planing, andobviously I'm hoping that changes because they're there
in a safety mode, taking careof us in case there's an evacuation,
which the one we talked about happenedwhen they had a computer that overheated and
they had to evacuate at the gate. The idea that somebody's getting paid as
(02:26:24):
almost a first responder, that's howI look at them in that situation,
is again just shouldn't be happening.I agree with you all day long.
You thoroughly convinced me the value ofthe flight attendance, There's no question about
it. And finally, I guess, as we always do, let's close
out on Hubblaze. How's it lookingout there for air traveled Jay right left.
I wanted it to be a goodnews day. I really wanted to
(02:26:45):
get to end on some good news. I can't. I mean, in
essence, draw a line from Houstonstraight up to Philadelphia, and anything east
of that is a mess. You'vegot Houston, we're gonna have Atlanta,
We're gonna have Charlotte, We're gonnahave Philadelphia, washing in d C,
New York later in the day. It's yeah, if you're headed west,
you're gonna be in a pretty goodshape. But unless your airplane is being
routed through some of these affected areas. You know you may be going to
(02:27:09):
California. Say, do you haveno weather issue? Yeah, but if
that plane's being rounded through Charlotte, you might have some issues. So just
make sure the airlines have a wayto get a hold of you. Get
to the airport again at least twohours before departure has been walking in the
door, and it'll better your chancesthat things go a little bit awry,
that you'll have plenty of time toget it worked out. Sound advice,
as always from my heart of methe abas next for Jay, ry Love.
(02:27:30):
I always enjoy having you on theprogram. Jay, I'm already looking
forward to next Thursday, and it'salways best to health you in your better
half. I appreciate that. Thankyou, take care of my friend.

to hear from your doctor, andI know what it's like to hear those
