from now I heard media aviation expertJay rat Look joins the program. Always
look forward to heaving Jay on theprogram and I always love talking to Donovan
and Neil. Americans for Prosperity,go to afpaction dot com, get involved
here in the state of Ohio campaign, and for Bernie Marino. Of course,
he just got off the phone talkingto Alex TRUMPAFILO about that. Orlando
(01:11):
Sonza as well. Welcome back Donovanand Neil. It's a pleasure to have
you on the program. Always apleasure to be with you. Brian.
Let's talk Shared Brown versus Bernie Moreno. Donovan. Alex said, the one
poll that's out, Bernie's only behindby three and a half points, which
is within the margin of error.Very optimistic. Conversation with Alex about Bernie's
(01:33):
chances here in the state of Ohio, and he said, by the time
the election comes, we will beoverwhelmed with ads from Bernie Moreno and of
course Shared Brown, who's already beenrunning a lot of ads on television,
which regularly needs leads me to ask, well, where has Bernie been,
And according to Alex, Bernie's allover the state. He's doing personal appearances,
Q and A sessions. It's justthat they haven't started really in earnest
(01:56):
running television ads. But that's comingsoon, Donovan. Yeah, I think,
you know, Chairman Alex t isabsolutely right. You know, Americans
for Prosperity Action, we endorsed BernieMoreno. I was actually just with some
of our team getting some recordings ofOhioans for some ads will be running talking
(02:16):
about how Shared Brown has failed themand why we need an outsider like Bernie
Moreno. So hold tight, Brian, the Calvaries comming. What we're doing
right now though, is knock indoorstalking to folks in the communities about and
introducing them to Bernie Moreno and talkingabout Shared Brown's failed record for all the
(02:38):
years he's been in Washington. Well, and that's what I mean. This
is the primary point we're making inthe presidential election. You know, Joe
Biden's failed policies I think was themost prominent reason that they pulled the plug
on his campaign. He's policies ledus to this particular state we find ourselves
in the country. Sure, he'scognitively impaired, but I think even despite
(02:58):
his cognitive impairment, if things weregoing along swimmingly right now, if the
American people were content and the grocerybills weren't through the roof and we didn't
have a border crisis that Biden mayvery well have even been ahead in the
polls. I mean, they've gota built in Pavlovian response when it comes
to Donald Trump, a Trump amonghalf the American people. So that's in
their advantage. But what it boilsdown to is policy and Shared Brown is
(03:19):
a mirror image of Biden policies.Am I right? Absolutely? Well.
Again, one of the questions thatwe've actually got I've had from a few
folks, some more supporters, andI even heard it a little bit on
the doors this past Saturday when Iwas out there knocking doors, Hey,
if Biden steps down, because rememberthis was Saturday, stepped on Sunday,
If Biden steps down, is thisyou know, is Bidenomic's over? Like
(03:42):
do we not have to worry aboutthat anymore? And the reality is,
Brian, No, it's more thanjust Joe Biden. You know, Shared
Brown has been in Washington, It'sbeen in politics for thirty years. He
you know, these policies that underpinbidonomics, high spending, top on solutions,
government intrusion, and involvement in ourlives. That's what underpins bydynomics and
(04:06):
We've got to make sure that wecut through the noise and connect folks to
not just the guy in the Ovaloffice that makes these decisions. Shared Brown
has taken votes as well. He'staken votes that has had moved our national
debt. We're pushing thirty five trilliondollars in national debt right now. I
took a look a while back, between two thousand and eighty ten, we
(04:29):
were at nearly somewhere between about aboutten trillion dollars. Shared Brown has been
in office. Brian twenty five trilliondollars in national debt we've accumulated during Shared
Broub's tenure as a US Senator outof the state of Ohio. I just
think that's unacceptable, and we're goingto take that message to the masses across
(04:49):
the state. And you know, one of the other messages and I one
and I talked to this about withAlex and I've mentioned a million times on
the program. I don't even knowwhat the hell it means. Threat to
democracy. I mean, that's justtheir default throwaway talking point when it comes
to the threat the Republicans or DonaldTrump or whoever poses to the country.
What does that mean? And inwhat way, shape or form will we
(05:10):
be talking about that. But whenit comes to the other pivotal issue,
of course, abortion, and Idon't believe it's within the purview of the
federal goverment to even touch it anymorebecause of that Supreme Court decision. But
the choice is their argument. Yeah, depriving the Americans of choice, you're
letting you know, not let mehave it. What about school choice?
I mean, isn't that an issuethat gravitates and works really well among people
(05:31):
of various political stripes. I mean, the Republicans are far more in favor
of giving people the opportunity to choosethe education system children going into than the
Democrats. They're lockstep in it withthe teachers' unions, which have failed our
children. Yeah, no, absolutely, And well, I think part of
the conversation that we really need, you know, work. We're pushing one
(05:55):
hundred days to the election, believeit or not, This coming Sunday,
it will be one hundred days toNovember fifth. What folks really need to
be focused in on in the conversationsthey have with their friends and neighbors is
what you call those kitchen table issues, those issues that are pacting everybody families
when it comes to education choice, like you're talking about, Brian, Are
we going to elect some Are wegoing to elect folks who when they go
(06:17):
to Columbus or Washington, are goingto work to advance empowering families with education
opportunity. Are they going to workto rein in out of control spending that's
fueling the inflation that we feel whenwe go to the grocery store. Are
they going to be working to unleashenergy abundance that's that for right now under
(06:39):
this administration in the recent years havecost us more at the pumpultating fifty percent
more at the pump. And whenJoe Biden took office four years ago,
and then are we going to secureour border? Folks? There was some
recent polling gun that shows, youknow, more and more Americans are frustrated
(06:59):
with this country's immigration policies and feelwe need to massively curb our immigration policies
in this country. I think weneed to have a secure border and we
need Washington to get serious about creatingan immigration system that will work so that
the folks that the best and thebrightest from around the world can come to
this country and live their American dream. Like Bernie Moreno his famly Damie I
legally from Columbia. He found hisAmerican dream. He chose to create a
(07:24):
business in the marketstill Highland. Nowhe's looking to serve our state. Those
are the kind of folks we wantto come to the country. But until
we get folks in office in Washington, DC and alumost who are going to
tackle these types of issues that peoplecare about, we're going to get team
have problems, and we really needto focus on connecting our friends and neighbors
to those issues and not let theother noise like this threat to democracy all
(07:46):
these other things that the ground thatthe progresses want to try to engage on
because they can't win on those issues, right, they can't win on the
issues of energy, border security, and the economy. But we can because
we've got better ideas. Yes,I do believe we do, and Bernie
Marino is the man to do thejob. Of course, all we can
do to help Bernie ma Reno out, and one of the things he can
(08:07):
do is go to Americans for Prosperityafpaction dot com. Right, Donovan,
Yeah, AFP action dot com. We're over there. Sign up give us
your information. We'll reach out toyou. We'll get you plugged in on
different ways you can get involved inyour community to help lead Bernie to success
in November. All right, realquick, let's talk Orlando Sonza. I
(08:31):
know you're supporting Orlando and doing whatyou can to give him elected. Of
course, a wonderful choice over GregLandsman, who a judge actually said should
never hold public office again because ofthe Gang of Five issues on SINCEI City
Council, I think Orlando is astellar candidate. Orlando came out first met
Orlando last year. He came Wedid one of these gas price rollbacks.
(08:54):
We rolled the price of gas backto what it was with Joe Biden took
office two thirty four. Gallon,by the way, who is a four
years ago, and Orlando came out. He's deeply connected to the problems in
Washington. Record of service, phenomenalcommunity leader. We've been excited to endorse
(09:15):
him. We'd some very early onthis year and are excited to be out
there because again, the problem isthe the Bidenomics isn't just Joe Biden.
He's attributable for a lot of itfor setting that vision, but folks like
Greg Landsman, just like Shared Brownand Greg Lamson's short time Washington, he's
(09:35):
helped vote and fuel the national debt, and the spending for that is that
is costing us more at the grocerystore. Power of the purse lies in
Congress, President and screaming THEE wantas many or as few policies as you
want, but it's up to Congressto decide. And of course you got
a record to run on, andShared Brown's going to have to try to
defend his, as is Greg Landsman, and we know who the better alternatives
(09:58):
are, Donald any Well. AFPaction dot com. Folks, it's easy
to get gauged. Try to dosomething anything, and one of the easy
ways to do that is afpaction dotcom. Donate. It's a political action
committee. Look at this, onehundred million pieces of mail, they've sent
out, seven million doors, they'veknocked on one hundred million plus or one
million plus voters they've reached. It'seffective. They're doing a great job.
Dot Itt and Neil, thanks forthe work that you're doing on behalf of
(10:20):
the American people. And I willstrongly encourage my listeners to get in touch
with afpaction dot com and help youhelp us, Brian. Always a pleasure
be with you. We're going tokeep knocking doors and look forward to the
next time we chat. I willtoo, keep up the great work seven
