he has proposed the legislation to increase the criminal penalties
associated with assaulting and interfering with the duties of law enforcement,

on Policing Services or the Cops Act. You get more
jail time, you get more fines if you assault law
enforcement or interfere. It defines explosive materials like fireworks, anything
combustible deadly weapons when deployed against law enforcement. The Act

with double the penalty for simple assaulting by convicted of
assault RESI opposing impeding, intimidating, or interfering with federal officers
from one year in prison to two years. The fines
would increase from one hundred thousand to two hundred thousand.
Felony assault related to the same offens as to everybody
whose act of assault involved physical contact with law enforcement

or the intent to commit another felony, jail time is
increased to a ten year maximum. A conviction of felony
assault with a dangerous and deadly weapon or bodily injury
would result in jail time rising from twenty years up
