Speaker 1 (00:00):
The shut down in the US government continues. Many families
have already been affected by this, and it's going to
get worse. You heard there, maybe at the top of
the hour news about finding some money somewhere, get us
through a couple more weeks. Guys, who's to blame for this?
Both parties are Both parties are get us through a
(00:23):
few more weeks. These continuing resolutions. If you hear CR
that's what you're talking, a continuing resolution. You'd be like
you're sitting down with your family and doing the budget
and going, eh, you know what, let's just keep sitting
like we did last quarter. All right, next same thing.
Let's just put it on the credit card like last quarter. Okay,
(00:43):
what you're against that, let's see. I would be for it.
If the Democrats are saying, let's stop this spending, this
is this wasteful spending. But they're the opposite of that.
They're a one to add another trillion on to it
for crazy stuff. They want a fund illegal alien healthcare.
They're lying and they say it. They most people know
that they've they've been for I legal alien health care
(01:04):
for quite a while. Now, that's not a secret. But
these elected officials on both sides. And I've been talking
about the dead orgy that the Republicans and the Democrats
have been involved in the whole time i've been alive.
Go back to it. Yeah, I'm talking about Trump one
point zero, I'm talking about Reagan. I'm talking about every administration,
(01:25):
the spending of our money. That's how you end up
thirty seven trillion dollars in debt. We haven't even focused
in the unfunded liability. What was that three hundred and
twenty seven thousand dollars per individual in debt in the
United States of America. If you're in traffic right now,
look around, if you're a stoplight, look around. Three hundred
and twenty some one thousand dollars in debt for every
(01:46):
single person that you see. Clean cr hogwash, Dirty is
an Arkansas pig and August humid heat in Little Rock. Republicans,
the Trump administration, our Republicans in Congress wanting the Democrats
to go along with the exact same spending plan that
(02:07):
Joe Biden had. Tell me, who's winning.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
They are very upset about that.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
The tension is rising.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
You had Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, for example, who
just yesterday. I think it was accused his own party
of quote playing chicken with the food security of forty
two million Americans. He's right, And you've seen now the
avalanche of people and organizations and institutions calling on the
Democrats to reopen the government and vote for the Queen
(02:35):
cr You've got labor unions, You've got the largest airlines
in America, You've got independent voters, working class Americans across
the country. They are all pleading with the Democrats to
do their job and stop using their hardships, the people's hardships,
for the Democrats' political games.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
In Washington, Speaker Johnson, you got amuta command.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
It's bigger Johnson com here. Just you guys aren't doing
your job either. So's have a balanced budget spending for
the whole year before that year comes up. You're supposed to,
I don't know, have it together. So what we demand
of businesses out here? So what we demand of like
(03:19):
universities to plan the travel budget for Fresno State to
go to Boise. You know they normal things that require planning.
We're handing our money over to you. You work for us,
so do it right. Can you just do it right? Please?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yesterday there was a lot said written about an editorial
that was in the Washington Post. I commend it to
your reading if you haven't seen that, but it reads
in part, just one line out of that. I would
like to stand up here and read you the whole thing.
The Washington Post, as you know, is not generally on
my side. They said, quote Democrats openly acknowledge that they
(03:59):
refuse to do this reopen the government because it would
mean giving up their leverage.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
All right, so they're they're wrong for the leverage. I'm
gonna say back to you, as a voter of the GOP,
a citizen, so you work for me. I'm the boss
talking to you right now. You have done this wrong.
This is wrong, the position that you're putting the country in.
(04:26):
Sure they could go along. Sure, okay, the Democrats are
more wrong. They're wrong or there? Yes? When is the well,
as he calls it, the when's a pimple gonna pop?
Who said that? Mister wonderful Kevin O'Leary, gonna tell us
when the pimple's gonna pop? Here?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
I think the date is November fifteenth. That's when the
pimple pops. November fifteenth. You heard it here first. That's
when everybody, including you, are double pissed more than you
are today. That's when everybody's paycheck stops. That's when transit
shuts down. That's when people are starving on snap. Everybody's
going to be really, really unhappy, and they're going to
say the representation red or blue. Hey, guys, get back
(05:08):
to DC and solve this problem.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Is a yes, solve it. Solve it. Solve it. But
it's going to require more than going okay, we passed
the clean SR all right. The Democrats came along and
the radical base is going to be mad at them,
and that's going to hurt them in the mid tib let.
They haven't done it right for so long. You'll kick
the can down the road. Obama twenty thirteen. We went
(05:37):
through this. There is one Democrat, but again he's not
even calling out the problem for the problem. I don't
hear anybody calling out the problem for the problem that
they're not doing their job correctly to even get into
a situation where you need to have a continuing resolution.
That's last minute crap. Get it together, please get it together.
(06:03):
Let's go listen to Senator John Fatterman here, talking about
the absolute failure.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
I don't have an explanation for them. All I could
say is I'm sorry, it's an absolute failure what occurred
here for the last month, and now things are really
going to land. And imagine being a parent with a
couple kids, and how you're going to fill their refrigerator
(06:30):
and pack their lunches and get on with their lives
when the things that they've depended on is gone. Because
we can't even agree to just open things up.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
It's not to the government to fill up people's refrigerators.
We need to get right back to the root cause
of it. It's like with the whole transgender thing. Let's
get right back to it. Can't happen. A boy can't
become a girl girl, Okay, all right, so let's just
cut it there. Let's get back to the real issue here,
the government filling people's refrigerators. It has become a lifestyle.
(07:01):
We've known that great society LBJ nineteen sixties onward. Here
of what it's done to America, so many people becoming
dependent on it. And I see sometimes why they're actually
freaking out because it's all that they've known. Maybe they
grew up as a kid that way. Then they became
an adult and they've gone on to that and they
expect it. It's what they've known. Now. There are people
(07:27):
that I will say or warrant it. They deserve it
to be an American citizen. Something happened to them and
they need this help for a time period, just for
a time period. Here's Sean Fetterman, Senator Hoodie Fetterman. He
was asked about Chuck Schumer's coming and he stands up
against the leadership and his own party. I wish we
(07:50):
had some Republicans right now that I could play you. Hey,
here's congressman Republican Congressman fill in the blank here talking
about why continuing resolutions shouldn't even be talked about because
we're not doing our job correctly.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
Yeah, Schumer said, this gets better politically every day for Democrats.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
What do you say to that?
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Yeah, well, ask ask the hungry people on Saturday.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
You know.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
It's that's the thing, you know, Americans are not leverage.
This is not this is not some game show about
who's winning or whatever. It's just like, like, we have
to be better than this.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Well we're not. I would have followed that up with,
well that how do we be better than this? And
if you were actually a representative of the people that
could answer that honestly, you would say, we got to
stop doing it this way. We got to stop doing
this last minute thing. If you do that with your
(08:49):
own finances, you eventually you eventually get into trouble. And
the big elephant in the room is the thirty seven
trillion dollars in debt, which shows that they have not
known how to handle our money for a long long time.
And they're really showing off right now, aren't they. Boy,
they are.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
The Democrats have voted fourteen times now to prolong all
this pain on the American people, and it's so frustrating
to us. That's what you see reflected in the President's
truth post last night about the filibuster.
Speaker 7 (09:19):
We just want this to end.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
They do not deny that they the Democrats themselves, that
they are prolonging this pain.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
They admit to it.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
They said they're using it as leverage.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I wonder what's going to happen this weekend. I don't
know if that supplemental funding will come out here and
cover it. But we already know it doesn't matter about
food stands. We already know that there's going to be
employees that aren't going to be paid, and we're going
to have business transactions that need to happen. People that
need to fly for a wedding, people that needed to
fly for a funeral. American industry is already be infected.
(09:51):
At almost yesterday's shut down, some airports.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
Jeffie here in Orlando is so limited that yesterday, for
a brief moment, the Federally Aviation Administration said that place
wouldn't be able to land here because they didn't have
enough air traffic controlers. This morning, things are running, but
with substantial delays.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Secretary Duffy Transportation.
Speaker 9 (10:13):
As this shutdown continues, you're going to see more pressure
on controllers, more pressure on TSA workers, and that's going
to have real impact.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, I think we can sum up this weekend, but
it's probably just going to be because.
Speaker 7 (10:24):
It's a psycho.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah. Stop things like go okay, stop the CRS get
a balance budget and we wouldn't be here at.
Speaker 7 (10:32):
The Assistent Trevor carry Show on The Valley's Power.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Talk, Listen to Kamala Harris here talking about how young
people sixteen year olds need to need to vote. We
should reduce voting h to sixteen.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
I'll tell you why, so.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Gen Z need sixteen year olds. I remember during the campaign,
though you're saying this about young people.
Speaker 10 (11:00):
Age is more than a chronological fact. What else do
we know about this population eighteenth through twenty four? They
are stupid, that is why we put them in dormitories
and they have a resident assistant. They make really bad decisions.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
So we should move a voting age to twenty five
according to her, But no, she wants to Laura down
to sixteen years old. A lot of wisdom coming from this, lady.
Look at this. Trump's killing babies this weekend.
Speaker 10 (11:34):
That's what's well, completely turning a blind eye to the
fact that that babies are going to starve when the
snap benefits end in just hours from now.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
It's not over dramatic, is it? No, not at all?
Starving babies within hours, Chuck Schumer, he went off the rails.
Let's see about thirty three hours ago with this on Saturday, for.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
The first time in American history, a vicious, heartless president
is cutting off food stamps to hungry children.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Y'all may call me code hearted for this.
Speaker 10 (12:08):
If I knew this was the situation that my children
were gonna have to grow up in. I would have
aborted them as soon as I found out I was pregnant.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Who can afford enough food to feed themselves?
Speaker 6 (12:19):
Veterans who are down on their luck, all because he.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
Wants to use them as hostages so that.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
Democrats will stop fighting for people's health care.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
No, no, no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Donald Trump, come to the front line, baby boy. You
could you could have down better. Reopening doesn't because I
knew my stamps. That's one thing y'a'm not gonna do.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
We can do both provide better healthcare and provide snap
benefits to the tens of millions who needed What do
we just like, I don't know what.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Do we just like overthrowed them?
Speaker 10 (12:52):
You like?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
What's happening to people right now in the world getting
taken about their neighborhoods.
Speaker 10 (12:58):
No, no, if only we would do something.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Together, This president is a liar.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
He says there's no money to provide foodstamps because of
the shutdown. That's his own agriculture department said, there's plenty
of money.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Hey, cousins, So if you work in a grocery store,
just know that you are still going to be paid
that hourly rate, whether they steal that food or not.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
So mind your business and be a team player.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
Every president during shutdowns has provided the money that's needed.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Even Trump in his first term.
Speaker 6 (13:32):
He is bludgeoning the American people, using the most innocent
to victims.
Speaker 10 (13:37):
Yeah, it's going to be looking like the purge out
here pretty soon to.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
Try and go along with his cruel shutdown which takes
away health care for millions of Americans. He is the
most vindictive politician America has ever seen and the most
heartless man America has ever seen in the presidency.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
So when you see them healing, because you will, because
they're going to have to make sure your anger is
intrupted at the individual. We're fighting him every step of
the way.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Yes you are, aren't you, Chuck. They all are. He's
Illuminati globalists. They want him taken out and they want
the country taken down. That's why they're supporting things like this.
You don't hear, Chuck, she were talking about and the
extra one point whatever trillion that we wanted to add
on to it. They don't bring that up. They now
(14:29):
the Illuminati is good, aren't they. Former wrestler former Seal
former governor Jesse Ventura democripts and reblood likins. He knew it.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Now?
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Am I saying that President Trump is trying to destroy America? No,
you caught the show yesterday. I gave a long list
of what he's accomplished in ten months here and to
have all the IEDs thrown in front of what he's
trying to do for this country. If Congress had done
(15:03):
their job correctly and Joe Biden hadn't run the country
prior to it, think how much easier it would be
they had a balanced budget going. It's not Trump's fault,
He's not the one that does it. If they were
actually doing their job correctly. Can you imagine how beautiful
this place could be, how on track this nation could be,
(15:26):
How if they handled our money correctly, we can really
truly help people less fortunate, And we would have a
program where no, it's not a lifestyle, you don't sign
up for lifetime for this, this is for a time period.
Matt Walsh, he had this to say about the EBT,
(15:48):
and I it's pretty spot on with this.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
You go to church on Sunday and pray on church
on Sunday and pray on people the rest.
Speaker 7 (15:57):
What is.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
This?
Speaker 9 (16:01):
The ongoing government shutdown has finally drawn attention to the
scale of this fraud, and it is astronomical. It has
exposed a vast network of criminal activity that needs to
be shut down just for starters. As the attorney Mike
Davis has pointed out, it's illegal under federal law to
provide financial assistant assistance to illegal aliens. It's also illegal
to rob stores and then brag about it on TikTok,
and a minimum we could start there. Arrest these criminals,
(16:24):
prosecute the state officials who are paying out benefits to
illegal aliens, who, by the way, typically receive Medicaid funding
as well.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yes, we know that, we know that there are scams.
New York Posts talking about a scam where they use
your EBT here to buy up American goods and then
ship it off to your home country and you get
paid for it. You're getting paid for something that was
free to you. This has been happening for a long time.
We do need guidelines here. Again, this is not the
(16:53):
Trump administration talking democrats. It's his political commentator, conservative Matt Wallas,
talking about we need sidelines. He even goes as far
to say I guess dietary guidelines. Okay, we need.
Speaker 9 (17:07):
Drug testing and weight testing for anyone receiving SNAP. We
need a system that does not subsidize the grocery bills
of forty five million people for the indefinite future, with
no time limit or restriction. And beyond that point, if
the foodstamp program is going to continue to exist at all,
which I'm not convinced it should, it needs to have standards,
strict standards.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
It needs to have a reason to exist. Someone needs
to be able to.
Speaker 9 (17:27):
Explain in a coherent fashion why the spending is necessary.
Democrats have had several days to give us an explanation,
and they fail to do it. In fact, they've essentially
admitted it's a shell game. We should end this particular
economic activity in its place.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
This is the Trevor Jerry Show on The Valley's Power Talk.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
Donald Trump, Donald Trump.
Speaker 8 (17:46):
Donald Trump, Donald Trump, donald Trump, donald Trump, donald trump
trump Trump.
Speaker 7 (17:51):
Who in the hell does he think he is? Who
does he think he is?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
These people are sick.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Aren't they here? Really? Congress and Jim Coassa held a
news conference this afternoon at the Sister California Food Banked.
He said to Unite Valley leaders in response to the
SNAP funding resulting in the government shut down. I don't
know there, Jimmy, why don't you call Senator Padilla?
Speaker 3 (18:17):
But I was hoping Jose Padilla would be here to
ask a question.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Yeah, telling to maybe stop this. That'd be a good idea,
wouldn't it. Here's what Congress and Jim Coss had to
say about thirty percent of the constituents. I represent her
all food and secure and rely it on SNAP. That
right there just says so much. Thirty percent rely on
(18:40):
the government to eat and you wonder why we're thirty
seven trillion dollars in debt. He said. They rely on
the benefits to feed their family every night. He said,
when you add that number up to the six congressional districts,
we're talking about almost six hundred thousand people, or to
put that on person effect of about the population of
(19:01):
the city of Fresno. Well, somebody's not doing something right there.
Jimmy Boy. Mayor Dyer spoke at the conference that he
and Presno City council member Nelson Asparsa bring forth a
resolution to the city council next week to allocate tw
hundred and fifty thousand to the Central California Food Bank.
Dyer noted that fifty thousand of the money that was
coming from a councilman of Sparsa's district budget. Had that
(19:24):
question earlier. Director Ryan Nigel looked that up, found this,
thank you. So yeah, it's not Nelson Asparsa's personal money,
it's coming from his district budget. Little misleading headline again,
money's money, get a go to food. But this really
just screams underlying problems, truly showing during this shutdown, how
(19:49):
much is spent? Kind of like Gwen alon Musk got
his chainsaw out and went into doze. How much money
is out there being spent around? We'll see we could
have some emmor agency funding to cover it for two
weeks living like a gambling addict in Reno. Hey, I
got another loan for a few weeks. I'll turn this around.
(20:11):
We'll turn it around again. I blame both parties. A
clean continuing resolution. That sounds good, That sounds like the
way it's supposed to be done. Right, No, it's not
not at all. It's like they're running a Ponzi scheme.
Come on, we just see, just let's get some more
(20:33):
funding in here. We can keep it going. We can
keep these limousines going, we can keep these state dinners going.
We can keep paying people that break into our country.
We can keep it going. What happens with all Ponzi schemes,
They crumble eventually and everybody's shocked. All right, I'm going
to move on to federal agents. NBC Bay Area stated
(20:58):
arrested an undocumented father at his home in Sale and say, well,
he was just on his way to work. His family stated, sons, horrible,
doesn't it? Dad was arrested just going to work. This
is part of the propaganda, whether it's with the shutdown
or whether it's with what we're doing with fighting back
against illegal immigration. The real story of NBC Bay Area.
(21:22):
They refuse to tell the public he's an illegal alien
from Mexico. He's not undocumented. He has a rap sheet
that includes lewd and lascivious acts with a child, battery
of a spouse, domestic battery, compensation for prostitution. Well, he's
out selling the goods. Felony re entry after removal sounds
(21:45):
a little different, doesn't it. NBC Bay Area federal agents
arrested a man that had lud acts with a child,
beat his wife was a prostitute, and broke in and
broke in and broke in and legal re entry. While
he was on his way to work, he was arrested.
Oh that might sound good. Good they got arrested somebody
that did lude in the Civius acts with the child
(22:06):
and beat his wife. Now you see how they take
that and how they twist that they're doing the same
thing with the Trump's gonna kill babies. With all of this,
Justice Department announced federal charges against ten anti ICE protesters.
We remember this if you do, if you saw it
at the marijuana farms where they had those children learning
(22:28):
that great career in the cannabis industry. Yeah, underage kids,
no parents around. Maybe part of the missing three hundred
thousand that they funneled into their child sex trafficking rings here.
But this was over in Ventura County. Anti ICE protesters
were tipped off to the raid. So they were tipped
off to the raid and they had to blue tip
(22:48):
their hair and they went out there. The blue and
pink hare protesters started ramming Mexican flags into the tires
of US military vehicles and started smashing the flag bowles
against the window idiots when protests are cut on video
shooting at federal agents. Nobody was hit by the gunfire.
(23:10):
He's still at large that that gumman was. But ten
have now been federally charged engaging in violence and civil
disorder against law enforcement. There in federal custody. One was
already a fugitive. This carries a statutory maximum sentence of
five years in federal prison. Good I put a one
(23:30):
in front of that ice. In coordination with the Nyanta
State Police, arrested more than one hundred and forty five
illegals driving U break or breaker on man. What does
that mean? Semi trucks? The states that issued the most
(23:51):
commercial driver licenses. Can you guess them?
Speaker 7 (23:54):
It's three.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
If you guess them, I'll tell you good job. Can
you guess what we guess? California, right, California and New York.
You got two of the three. What's the third? Oregon
now starts with an eye. Illinois, Yeah, all sanctuary states.
(24:17):
Way too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal
alien truck drivers. They should be getting their kids all
dressed up for trigg or treating right now. They're not.
They're gone. And by the way, it's getting a little darker.
Just remind every body to slow it down. Fifteen Keep
an eye out. Sanctuary states have been issuing a legal
(24:39):
alien commercial driver's license. Trump ended the chaos, but you
got states fighting it back. California, if they hadn't fought
back against the Trump administration and Transportation Secretary Sean Duppy,
there will still be three people alive in southern California
right now. You had the illegal alien from India slam
into the back while high on something. I don't know
(25:02):
if they said alcoholic drugs, but he was driving impaired.
I mean, no brakes, none whatsoever. Just made those cars.
They were cardboard cars and he shouldn't have been on
the road in California. Of the one hundred and forty
five illegals driving semi trucks in Indiana, let's see convicted
(25:22):
a drug driving, drug trafficking, theft, They caught burglary, assault,
child abuse, domestic violence, prostitution, and fraud in the sanctuary
state of Illinois. Governor Pritzkers attempted to stop federal enforcement
there up there. We know all about him. Legal aliens
accused of killing a Republican elected official and his wife.
(25:44):
This thirty four year old illegal from Honduras driving a van,
open container, had magazines in their firearm drugs. He's in
this van. He crossed over the center lane and struck
a seventy one year old Michael seventy one and sixty
six year old wife Gail killed imm instantly. He was
a Republican elect official served on the county board. They
(26:09):
said in his obituary, whether it was groceries, gifts or meals,
they always chose local shops and markets, supported small business,
always gave to others. They're not around anymore. But chacomes
across the border unknown got away. He was from Guatemala,
(26:30):
crossed in twenty twenty three, allowed in by the Biden administration.
There are so many of these stories. So after this
illegal alien was arrested, ICE lodged a detainer against them,
wanting custody, but it was ignored by the Clark County
jail there because of Governor Pritzker's sanctuary state policy, so
(26:55):
he would have been released. ICE agents were waiting though,
when he was released from jay and they arrested him
right outside the jail. It's going to get to a point.
And I said this back right after the election with
what President Trump promised on the campaign trail, and I said,
if he executes what he promises when he gets into office,
(27:15):
and he has, we're going to have local and state
officials having to choose between the state or the FED.
And we're getting closer to that. We've already seen it
now happen in other jurisdiction. Well, we've seen it here
in California. There they're working against the FED. They're choosing
the side of their own state. Now how far is
(27:37):
that going to trickle down with county sheriffs. We're getting
close to all these guys, we really are. And what
the Trump administration has planned for deportations, I think they
have just begun. And this is what America voted for.
If you don't want to self deport, you're going to
(27:58):
be deported, you self depart then do it the right way,
do it the way we do it with everything else
in life. I dare you. I dare you. At that
Shakira concert when everybody was waiting in line, you went
up and said, I'm gonna cut in line, and if
you say anything, I'm gonna call you a name. And
people saw you cutting in line. You didn't wait, you
(28:20):
cheated you it probably your physical being would probably be
not safe at that point. So do it the right way.
It's wrong. Look how they blur right and wrong. Now
we have laws on the bucks that stay. It's wrong
(28:43):
to do this, and it's something how the Democratic Party
used to used to actually believe that. So here we
are again, two innocents killed because a criminal, ilegal alien
was driving under the influence. President Trump sent the refugee
admissions a seventy five hundred for fiscal year next year.
That's the lowest cap on record. This is well, refugees,
(29:09):
they all claim to be crawling across the border. He said,
it's going to focus on South Africans from the white
africanner ethnic minority that are being killed down. That's what
everybody's going to say that he's doing right. US law
requires the President consultant members of Congress before setting refugee
levels seventy five hundred person refugee ceiling. Do you know
(29:36):
how many Joe Biden let in and fiscal year twenty
twenty four, you know, not surge the border, come in illegally,
but through the refugee program, he had over one hundred thousand.
President Trump has moved that back to seventy five hundred.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
And he was a sales guy and he figured out,
I'm going to sell ad space on my suit when
I get married. I guess it's kind of like a
NASCAR you know, ads on the race car or Major
League Baseball helmets. Now now we're the weddings and the
groom suit. He asked people to sponsors wedding and passed
as a business expense and their advertising and sold seven
(30:18):
spots on his suit. At worked, he sold out all
the spaces for ten thousand dollars. I knew that. Huh.
So I had this idea when City Council of Nick
Richardson got married, because he gave ten thousand of his
salaries so that low income kids could learn to swim.
Remember we he did that. He could have made that
If I'd had this idea, he could have made ten
(30:38):
thousand back on his wedding His could have sold ads
on his bow tiede wedding tucks. I don't know. Maybe
I'll do it when I get married. To get in
my eighties on the cruise ship. He's gonna have to
be in her sixties. Horrible segue, but an eighty year
old Australian woman was discovered dead on a remote island
(31:01):
after she was left behind by the cruise ship that
she was traveling on. She was hiking on Lizard Island
with a group of other passengers. She was separated from
the group she decided to take some time to rest.
The cruise ship ended up leaving the woman on the island.
They realized that several hours later, came back at night
(31:23):
and when they found out, she went on board and
they discovered her she was dead. They left. I left
around sunset, came back around ten. When they realized she
was missing, they did a major search operation. They didn't
find her body till that Sunday morning. It was the
first stop of a sixty sixty six zero day cruise
(31:44):
around Australia, tickets costing the tens of thousands of dollars
for this journey. So this wasn't some fly by night
boat operation where the skipper was drunk and they left
her there. This was a real reputable place and she
was hiking. She got really high and she rested and
during I guess that rest time, the ship left and
(32:05):
they didn't do a passenger count. See the dumbing down
of the world. You would think that that would be
rule number one boat floating, rule number two passenger count,
especially when people were getting off the boat at a
remote island. Wow, And I guess I should question why
(32:27):
an eighty year old woman is hiking by herself on
a remote island as well. That's that's not too smart there.
But in that sad story really as well, this was
I don't know if you've heard this term. Have you
have you heard the term eh sixt' seven? You have
heard it. You've heard it, You've heard somebody use that term.
(32:47):
Dictionary dot Com just said it's a new word of
the year. So that's what the kids are saying, not
sixty seven, it's sixty seven. It means maybe this, maybe that,
how was your night? Eh six seven? So so I
guess that's how they're using this now. But that was
the word of the year. But then again, I don't
(33:10):
hang around things. Right where did you hear did you
read or see it? Or did you hear somebody say it?
At the hookah lounge? Somebody's did the cleaning. People's granddaughter
told you, Okay, all right, so the kids are using
it these days
