Speaker 1 (00:00):
President's gotten some national attention this week when it comes
to immigration. THEI. Earlier in the week, the federal judge
here in Fresne Bard Border patrol from a wrestling base suspected.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yeah, we think you might be here, Leliah troops.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Show us the warrant, give us the reasonablieve the person
might flee before a warrant could be obtained, because they
fled their other countries. So they're pretty good at fleeing
places and getting in and out. That's a reason. US
District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston here from our neck of
the woods. Again, these judges standing up for lawbreakers. Now
(00:45):
here we go again. I'm just going to read from
what Thatteus Miller at the fresneb dot com bust out
here and typed out. Sam Uaquem Valley cities, including Presnell,
were recently recipients of a letter from US Secretary of
Transportation Sean Duffy. Good duff he's sitting down doing a
letter talking about US. Got a little tension here again,
(01:07):
warning Presido they could lose out on federal funding if
they did not drop DEI language and cooperate with immigration enforcement.
I knew they would soon start start turning their eyes
here on California, and rightfully so.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
We are the headquarters.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
We are the biggest magnet, fourth largest economy in the world.
We're our own country out here. We do our own things,
we do our own deals with China. We fly to
Israel as the governor, we we we direct things out here.
But now no, the federal government's come knocking. Presnol County
(01:45):
Boarder Supervisor Gary Bretdefeld on the aspect of these DEI
and how it discriminates, as he stated many times right
here sitting across from.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
It discriminates on the basis of race and gender, which
is illegal and frank on American where DEI is implemented,
people are not selected for hire based on merit, experience
or the qualifications, but whether they are a certain race
or gender. Not only is it unfair and discriminatory, but
it's also dangerous, as we've seen with DEI hiring practices
(02:18):
for our traffic controllers.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Okay, and if you can't understand, and sometimes if politics
gets a little confusing, you can just say to them,
what is all this they're talking about getting rid of DEI? Say, well,
if we're going to really do that across everywhere.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
We think that's right.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
We got to do it with the NFL, the NBA,
Major League Baseball, ice skaters. We got to have everybody
represented more equally. It's not based on whether they can
do those toils on the ice skates or jump in
the end zone and snag it in the end zone,
or throw it fifty five yards on a button. No, see,
(02:54):
that's in any time you catch them in that. Why
shouldn't we do that well, because you've got to have
the best to win. Exactly, so does Boeing, so does
the school district. That's what everybody needs, the best to win. Bravo, bravo, bravo. Yes,
not on your skin pigmentation or the way that you
(03:15):
decide that you know well' was go say the creator
made you. But no, however you say that, transpan whatever,
you say all of that. No, you know what if
if it was the smartest in the world, transpansic and
they wanted to be a scientist and they could get
an astronaut stuck up their home, I'd be like, if
they're the best, Yeah, whatever, get the scientists home. That's
(03:40):
how I look at it. Here's so President County Supervisor
Bredefeld looks at it about again, Yes, being based on
the merit. It's only makes sense. That's that's what Martin
Luther King fought for, guys. That's what the whole civil
rights thing was.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
BI system also puts people in categories as victims or victimizers,
which creates division, strife, and conflict as districts. To Supervisor,
I have taken decisive action to ensure Fresnock Counties hiring
practices are fair, transparent, and based on merit. Hiring should
be rooted in skills, experience, and qualification, not in divisive
(04:20):
narratives or radical political ideology. I'm working to eliminate all
politically driven language from Fresno County government job applications and
ensuring that every candidate is evaluated solely on their ability
to do the job. And we've handed out where you
can see that they have had narratives in their employment opportunities.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Why does the left try and complicate it? So see,
my shoulders are back up again. Forget all that trying
to do that before three. It's just not possible. Just
so short term. This lighter that Transportation Secretary Duffi Center
Fresno dated April twenty fourth, signed by the Secretary said
contract language, hiring practices, and other municipal policies should be
(05:04):
based on merit and should not account for a prohibited
category light, race, or sex. Personal d says a couple
of fresn aria programs. We've already seen funding cut in
recent weeks. We talked about it yesterday the hey let's
pay the people most likely to kill to not kill
Advanced Peace lost two million in funding first five Madera
(05:26):
County seesyl services after these cuts, all right back to
following the law here.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
DEI initiatives not only violate federal anti discrimination laws, but
also create unnecessary division. DEI language and these job announcements
also false. Sleep por trays Fresno County as a place
where people are not hired as the most qualified, and
that perception undermines the hard work of our county employees.
(05:55):
The categories people based on gender, race, or political ideaology
which has no place in a fair and transparent hiring process.
I just think that from the future going forward.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
All all right, that's uh, President County Supervisor Gary Braadfelt.
What did what The City of Reresne respond to this
letter from Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy about, Hey, d
I needs to go away and you're going to work
with this with immigration here or I don't know, I
might not get some of those funds.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
And that how.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Reagan did the drinking age. Yeah, I think some states
were eighteen summer twenty one. He wanted them all to
be twenty one. They stepped in, they said, we'll cut
off federal highway funding and ooop everybody twenty one twenty one.
The letter demands, I read from the Bee, that cities
cooperate with US Immigration and Custom Enforcement or risk losing
federal money. A lot of the transportation in the region
(06:48):
in Fresnoe, much of the roadway maintained through state gas
taxes or dollars from measures c the half sent sales
tax in Fresnel County. The Fresno's mayor's office brushed off
the letter as a in parentheses form letter sent to
many cities in the Sanwa King Valley. Really interesting, don't
(07:11):
they see how all this clogs up the city?
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Man?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I just wish they weren't afraid to do what's right.
I don't know what the word is, mayor dire statement,
and I read quote. We have received the form letter.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Oh soo.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Duffy's sitting there going all right, next city stamp present, next, Hey,
come next damp sit if I tell you, well, yeah,
I don't think that. The Secretary sat down and said,
hmm here, Mayor Jerry, I know you and Joe had
a great relationship, didn't.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
You, Mayor Jerry, I don't want to get you in
trouble out on Fresno, California.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
All right, so form letter, we'll just set that aside. Okay.
A letter was sent from US Transportation Secretary and have
asked our legal team that the mayor saying, to review
the late policy actions from the Trump administration. Their analysis
will help us determine what, if any impact these policies
may have in the city of President. Duffy's letter said,
(08:13):
declining to cooperate with the enforcement of federal immigration law
or otherwise taking action intended to shield illegals from ice
detection contravenes federal law and may give rise to civil
and criminal liability. Shun Duffy's letter statement. Now, Mayor Diers
just not your normal mayor. He knows law enforcement more
(08:37):
than he knows politics, because he was in it a
lot longer, and I think that he knows that state
law here in California, you know, they shield illegals from ice.
What does all this mean? Well, I think it means
(08:59):
that again. Sam I said this right after he won
man that we're going to have a showdown over these
sanctuary states. Presido has never quote declared itself a sanctuary city,
but we've had many around us in the valley here,
some smaller communities that have, and of course the big
daddies to the north and south have. We're a sanctuary state.
(09:22):
We know that for many, many different slices of society today.
Well that's what the mayor's office had to say. We
heard what Brettefeld had to say. Let's go here. What's
the city council member Miguel Arius his response to the letter?
What did he call it?
Speaker 4 (09:41):
Well, this is a good one. Is everybody listening?
Speaker 1 (09:44):
He called it laughable? Laughable, get out of here, betteral
finding come on? Council Area said, quote, I don't want
to dismiss it.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Well you just did.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
You called the letter laughable, But I don't want to
dismiss it because it is an unprecedented threat. But I
believe it's a meritless threat with no teeth. Come on,
Trump and Duffy. Sock it to the socialists wasting our
money and not protecting the people from a foreign invasion.
(10:26):
Sock it to them. Also, some questions, sir, Mayor Dier
and council Member miguil Arius and all the other elected officials,
like your comments on this, You would think you'd be
open arms to work with the Feds. What about the
three hundred thousand? And we're gonna hear Congressman Chiproy of
(10:47):
Texas here say it's over four hundred thousand.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
These children.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Even had Mayor Eric Adams in New York say, he said,
we have half a million, five hundred thousand who had
sponsors in this country that we can't find. We cannot
find them. You got borders are tom Home and sy
and these kids are being exploited in traffic. I mean,
has the city looked into this? And will you work
with ice to find them? Congresson chimp Roy was asking
(11:15):
HHS secretary but Sarah back in the Biden administration, let's
go listen here.
Speaker 5 (11:20):
Mister secretary, is this remotely consistent with the claims by
your department that you're doing everything in your power to
ensure child's security.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Carn said, thank you for the question. All potential sponsors,
anyone who wishes to apply to sponsored child must undergo
extensive vetting process that follows child Wilfare best practices. We
use a variety of tools, we try to monitor as
best we can, and recently, through the Foundational Rule, we
have established an even more extensive process for vetting as well.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Yeah, they lost them, they lost them.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
Mister secretary, how can you credibly claim that HHS is
working to protect these children? And, by the way, children
we're talking about in the order of magnitude of four
hundred and something thousand children, which you are dismissing that
they are lost. Let me ask you a very specific question,
mister secretary, Can you account for the whereabouts of those
(12:17):
four hundred and something thousand children, the three hundred and
twenty thousand that were put in the report by the
Inspector General, the eighty five thousand that we've talked about
before in twenty twenty three. Do you know where all
of these children are and that they are safe? Yes
or no?
Speaker 6 (12:32):
Congressenda, As I explained the process we get these kids
when they are referred to us by the Department of
Homeland Security. We then provide them with care while they
are in our custody. We lose custody of those kids
once we find a vetted sponsor with whom they can stay.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
A vetted sponsor that rapes and murders the people that
they're entrusted to.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
You know this is true our local elected officials, mind us,
a few are too timid. I don't know, too afraid
is in it for what's right for the rural law
and their lack of courage in a desperate times creating
nothing but but cultural suicide. Seriously, work with the Feds
(13:14):
one hundred percent and stand up for our safety. For
Republicans and Democrats and Libertarians and people that don't vote,
stand up for our safety because we are watching in
we do vote the.
Speaker 7 (13:28):
Assist At Trevor Cherry Show on The Valley's Power Talk.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
Chief Fleming Globe's police department held a press.
Speaker 8 (13:35):
Conference what targeted pre planned act of violence that occurs
against our victim And I think it's it's pretty easy
to surmise that based on this video.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah, they showed it. They show some stills as well.
Sat there for thirteen minutes, no food, in front of
him in a chair, almost pushed back at McDonald's. It
didn't look professional whatsoever. Revenge. I mean, we all can speculate.
(14:09):
It wasn't your average derange person that goes around. It
looked like he even like sat there and thought about
it for quite a while.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
What am I going to do?
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Even one of his friends opened up the McDonald's door
for the shooter to exit there.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
And we are not going to change what we're going
to do. Our number one goal is to capture a killer,
and that's what we're going to do. And so to
your question you just asked me, is can I convey
to the public that we know that everybody else is safe?
I kuldn't have come out in day one and said that,
and I still today, can I compantly say that? I
(14:45):
can't say that anybody else is a potential target?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
And there was a car that looking forward driving around,
so obviously somebody else involved with it. So from what
I surmise, and we'll talk more in detail, and I
read you some more quotes next hour. But yeah, not random,
not random, And there'll be rumors and they'll be speculation,
and everybody just shut up with stuff like that. Because
(15:09):
you have no idea not obvious to I guess the
only critique I might give if they had that video
and a description and that they give and we'll talk again.
I keep saying, we'll talk about it next hour. Here
I can't quit talking about it, but we'll go a
little more in depth. But if you had the car
and all that, why this long before you think? You know,
(15:30):
we could have all all these previous days been looking
for this is my question. But then again there's reasonings
and when it's this sensitive, and I back up, let
law enforcement do their job, and you know that they
have to put up with families that are calling daily, hourly,
and you got to be you know, you know what
(15:52):
they're going through there. I hope we don't lose any
more life with this open border that we've these is
longest extremist groups has Balah and whatnot have been caught
at the border. And for everyone that we probably catch,
I mean we can only come up with a number
of how many went through undetected that we never caught.
(16:14):
And I may I'm we know on the terror watch list,
and even behind every name on the terror watch list,
there are probably twenty other cats that were probably on
there as well that slipped by by with that one
that we caught.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Then they blend in.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Man. You know, we talked about illegal alien kids costing
twenty thousand dollars a child in the classroom and an
illegal alien father taking a truck driving job away from
an you know job. School, education all important, But we're
talking about people that could be in here that want
us our heads to blow up. You see the day. Okay, yeah, illegal, Okay,
(16:54):
you go to mass good you were a farmer and Mexican. Okay, good, Yeah,
we can't afford you that. That's one argument over here.
And then we have the criminals over here. And then
we even got the even down and dirtier that want
to be criminals on a much larger scale. They're not
smashing and grabbing.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
They're patient.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
They're looking at you know, missile silos and nuclear power
plants and the kind of things that you could do
mass destruction inside of America. They embed, they build networks.
I even think they worm their way into school districts. Politics, Yeah,
(17:38):
they do. And evil is patient things pastor doing. They
stay quiet and then they and then they act. We
haven't seen it yet. Are their foot soldiers?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Why wouldn't there be.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Well, we it's important about assimilation. We always say jump
in the melting pot. They see the people that are
coming in. Now, why many, many, many on the conservative
side are are willing to take a true stand against this.
It's not assimilation. They want to destroy us. And I'm
(18:22):
a firm belief, not being a FBI trained there's a
lot of highly trained people that are in here. Why
wouldn't there be when you had it wide open. They
know how to play the system of the game. They
don't need to rush times on their side. We got
sanctuary cities and sanctuary states. Guys will give you protection
and you really don't even have to hide. It's not
(18:44):
about immigration, it's about infiltration. So stop pretending that it's compassionate.
You're just signing like a suicide. No, we got to act,
not tomorrow, We got to act now. And I don't
know what's going to happen with these judges again, one
(19:06):
here locally, judge Jenny from the block. President Trump's talking
about resended habeas corpus for some of these individuals, meaning
that hey, there's an invasion. No you don't get your
normal trek to the system.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
Well, there are ways to mitigator, and there's some very
strong ways. There's one way that's been used by three
very highly respected presidents, but we hope we don't have
to go that route. But there is one way that
has been used very successfully by three presidents, all highly respected,
and hopefully we don't have to go that way, but
there are ways of mitigating that.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
This is the Trevor Jary Show on the Valley's Power Talk.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Its a little taste of the old days that Joe
Biden on a Friday here that was the guy in
control of the nuclear button while a lot of us
lept to the man made lockdown. Oh boy, did we
dodge some bullets? Why didn't countries attack us?
Speaker 2 (20:06):
Then?
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Huh? I guess that nuclear arsenal And they thought there'd
be enough generals who had common sense. Speaking of lack
of that common sense up in Sacramento, Boy, this is
gonna be tough. It's gonna be really tough. Simply Milwaukee Arambula.
According Sam muiquin valleysun dot com, a Democrat broke with
(20:29):
the party to vote against this amendment of the not
being a felony for purchasing sixteen and seventeen year olds
for sex. He said he couldn't vote for it as
a father of three daughters. Highly disagree with him on
almost everything in his political journey. Thank you a simple
Minwaukee a Rambla for that vote. I met his mother
(20:50):
out at the waffle house we were protesting when the
city was shutting it down. During the lockdown, I met
his mom out there and his dad. We had a
good conversation out there. Let's see Valley Democrat assembly Woman
Elzmmel the story sided with the majority voted in favor
get rid of the felony language in there. These Democrats
(21:11):
shot down an attempt by well last year State Senator
san and Grove the bill may get a felony to
purchase sixteen to seventeen year olds for sex and Democrats
and and we got to move that around the bill.
We'll just start with the fifteen year olds in down.
This time, assembly Member Maggie Krell, a Democrat, tried to
(21:32):
bring the felony provision to make it a felony to
purchase all minors. First Sects. You have the Democrats in
the can you believe that it's acting This is the
wording of this committee, the Public Safety Committee, unless you're
sixteen or seventeen forced the amendments to not protect the
(21:53):
sixteen and seventeen years old. I've been watching this a
lot with kcra Up and Sacramento. They've covered it, and
I'll let you hear at the end. Normally you don't
hear newscasters that a lot of them do read the teleprompters,
and you don't really hear them going opinionated as much
as you hear it at the end of this report.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
And I was proud of them. I'm glad they did
it here.
Speaker 9 (22:16):
It was Denham Day in the State Assembly, the annual
event when lawmakers can be seen in jeans and Denham
jackets for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Did you catch that? It's Denham Day casual Friday. No,
It's Denham Day because sexual awareness. Oh to stand up
and get what they're voting to get. Oh head spend time.
Speaker 9 (22:38):
But some Democrats arrived to the Assembly floor Thursday hoping
to avoid that talk, scrambling to shut down a Republican
push to vote on a proposed automatic felony for the
buyers or sex solicitors of sixteen and seventeen year olds.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Who would try and the devil would wouldn't he. Yeah,
that's that's what it boils down to. It's actually quite simple.
We didn't used to have to debate things like this.
A child's a child until they're an adult. Who here
is the Democrat assembly Woman Maggie Crell here.
Speaker 7 (23:20):
I want one thing out of this.
Speaker 10 (23:21):
I don't care whether my name's on the bill, but
I would happily support it if it includes protections for
sixteen and seventeen year olds, If it treats them as victims,
because they truly are, If it recognizes the fights that
survivors have led for decades, for the basic understanding that
if you're seventeen years old on a street corner and
(23:44):
an old man comes up and purchases you for sex.
Speaker 7 (23:48):
That's rape. That should be treated as a felony.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah. I think that's the most the way you go
up and down any neighborhood block in any city, of
any income level, and that's what you're going to find
almost ninety nine percent of people would say, and probably
ninety nine points something. I would hope that's the kind
of society that we all move around in. Now, let's
(24:16):
go to that world famous Public Safety Committee, and for
every public safety committee. You've got to have a public
safety chair, and this is the chair, Mike Schules.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Listen to him. Oh no, no, this is already a
law in the state where you can't do that. I
agree with the.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
Governor while he's right in front of everybody saying, no,
we're not going to put that in there. Listen, this
is like double double talk or something.
Speaker 11 (24:42):
I'm sorry that we couldn't see eye to eye on
the solution here. It is important to understand that's sixteen
and seventeen year olds miners of any age in the
state of California that are contacted for a sexual purpose
that is punishable as a felony already. The governor made
a statement earlier this week. I agree heeartedly with the
governor's statement to the extent that it already states existing
(25:04):
state law.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Hey, sneaky snake. If that were the case, why would
everybody be doing this? Why didn't you whip that out?
Show that and everybody goes, oh, okay, what are you
doing this weeknd No, here's a simileman Gallagher.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
We don't need more time, we don't need to study
this anymore. We need to make it just and change
the law.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
That's what we pushed to do today, and unfortunately, the
majority of the Democrats decided to continue this disparity.
Speaker 7 (25:31):
When it comes to sixteen and seventeen year olds, they
are deserving of justice and protection.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
It's it's like there's a dark cloud over this state
that didn't used to be here. It's in for those
of you that have traveled elsewhere. Uh gizl now be
ninety five. He just went to Japan and I was
asking him about it, and he goes.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Man, everything is so clean.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
He just couldn't get over or how clean everything was,
and how everybody wants to help and assist and don't
want to tip, you know, in their jobs that they're doing.
And he said we would both not feel short over there,
And I was like, Okay, that sounds like a good
place to go visit. But even being back in Tennessee
the few times that I've gone back here recently, it's
(26:22):
just there's something over this state.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
Man.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
I don't know if they did some kind of curse
or spell, but there's a lot of people that are
spending a lot of our government time on things that
a lot of us say, Man, we wouldn't even let
our kids around. Somebody that thinks that way where they
want the parents shut out of the conversation that as
(26:47):
odd as we might say, what in the world is
this child thinking about They're obviously thinking about it, and
it has to be addressed. If they're going, I'm not
the person that those bible stupid stories you tell me about.
I've been told by a counselor that I need to
let this out and if mom and dad, if you
try and step in the way, then that's violating my rights. Guys,
(27:10):
it can be happening and you don't know about it
right now because these elected officials have gone all the
way to doing an assembly bill and Newsom signed it
and the interim school superintendent missed her when she was
wanting to be the school superintendent. Reached out contacted her office,
come on and talk about this. As a superintendent, would
(27:31):
you shut parents out? You need to stand up against
this assembly bill? And we got a response back that
the conversation would not be fruitful. Where's our elected officials,
the Porterville mayor and a and vice mayor. They've taken
a stand on this. But it blows my mind that
we're not protecting kids and that we're shutting parents out
(27:53):
and we're letting weirdos get in their life and put
things that you know can't happen. Stop man, somebody, and
I know there's outraged parents and rightfully so, and some
right now that have no idea, no idea because that's
how it's designed. And who would design something to keep
(28:17):
parents out of their kids' lives?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Who could it be?
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Satan?
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Listen to these TV anchors up in Sacramento and go, yeah,
this is see everybody's realizing this.
Speaker 12 (28:30):
Is not right, and we really should point out the
urgency with this that children sixteen and seventeen years old
are being victimized every day, that that is happening right
here and right here in Sacramento.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yep, right here in fro Zone and everywhere nook and
cranny around this state because we're not taking a stand
for him. Here's a similement, David Tangapa on this debacle
that is happening in now. It shouldn't be there. All.
Speaker 13 (29:00):
I used to glorify this building when I grew up
here in California, in Sacramento, and we needed people to
fight for us because those families deserved it. My family
deserved it. So we're asking for something simple, protect all
miners in the state of California. There is one standard
that we need, and it's insane to me that this
(29:23):
is what we are arguing on. How can we be
trusted to do anything else if we can't even work
together to protect the children. I don't get it. Everybody
needs to reflect on themselves and realize just how crazy
this is. How can you balance the budget, protect California
and save hospitals and do everything else when you can't
(29:45):
even have a standard for the kids in this state.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
They deserve those protections.
Speaker 13 (29:50):
We demand answers right now by the leadership in this
state to step up, unify with us all, and put
children first.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Are your people from the Republican Party if they recruct.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Them a blood out of kids him?
Speaker 10 (30:05):
I'm not sure are the people in the Democratic Party?
Speaker 12 (30:08):
To be honest.
Speaker 7 (30:10):
This is the Trevor Cherry Show on the Valley's Power Talk.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I know, I know, you thought you could just sleep outside.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
It's required between six am and two pm on Themorial
the Day weekend any day between June and fifteenth and
August thirteenth, or Labor Day weekend. Visitors that plan to
even enter reservations will be required, and if you've got
to drive in through the park, vehicles block in the
road will be sighted. Oh look at them. You can't
just hang out man and nature don't get sighted. You
(30:46):
can't enter without a reservation if you have a wilderness
or half done permit. Also the city has to okay
or the state has to okay reservation for camping or lodging.
That well, if you have that, or you can take
the bus transit bus into the park. That's probably the
best way to drive up to a certain point and
(31:07):
take a shuttle up not that far. Don't know if
the driver's on futnel going around those corners on mountains,
you know it'd be real relaxing, wouldn't it. The reservation
system was implemented back during our six feet of social distancing.
Let's just keep it in place, because remember new some
tollis We're not going back to normal. Ysemite's the sixth
(31:29):
most visited national park in twenty twenty four. And the
way you hear it, the Trump doge cuts not eanybody
around even put toilet paper out there, and then the
Yosemite bathrooms as well. But isn't that something that you
gotta have your permits. You got to you gotta know
who you are to sleep or or even visit or
to walk around there. But how let's apply Yosemite rules
(31:53):
to our society. I do think that's good news. Now,
that's good news. Wouldn't that be speaking in the mountains?
Did you see that story of that twenty seven year
old Chinese student who lives in Japan and he had
to be rescued from Mount Fuji. That's a big tall mountain. Yeah,
(32:13):
they had to helicopter up, do all that kind of
thing to get the altitude sickness because you know, you
run out of oxygen. He was airlifted from there, and
then what happened They had to go rescue him again
on the same mountain. Why he left his phone that
I'm almost tempted to well, first of all, he's going
(32:36):
to pay for it for the second rescue. Yeah, I
have to work that off. You know, I know Japan's
clean and all, but no, not the second time he
went back up to ten thousand feet he went back
to get his phone. Guys, is that not proof that
this is beyond de diction for some people?
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Man?
Speaker 1 (32:58):
He yeah, he's he to pay for that second rescue.
I've never heard of such. I do watch those YouTube
crash compilations because they know I like frant Roulette, so
they send me other things. And the car was turned over,
people were flipped out. There was a family or a
(33:18):
group of people, four or five people, and they were
all alive, and everybody could tell. Everybody was alive. But
it was smoke hole.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
My arm hurts, I guess. And this kid's where's my phone?
Where's my phone? The guy's like, the car's on fire,
get away, where's my phone? Where's my phone? The car's
on fire, get away.
Speaker 7 (33:35):
The insist that Trevor carry show Mondo Valley's power Dog,
