Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Trevor Carry Show. I'm Jody Jones with
Frank Van Lanningham.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Thank you, Power Talk, Thank you Trevor.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Here he's on vacation day and again I hope you're
having a good vacation. Hey was that betterman? Again?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
That was a Trump supporter. I you do you hear
what he said?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Right?

Speaker 1 (00:14):
All right? Hey, you know a lot of people don't
know this, but Crossfire Hurricane was basically busted right here
in the Central Valley.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Isn't it amazing?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
In the South.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
This didn't happen in North Dakota and Arizona.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Nope, nope, right here in the Central Valley, South County
at Crawdaddy's. And we have a man that is going
to come on and tell us about all of it.
He was there. He's the owner of Crawdaddy's, mister Keith,
of course, Godden Keith. How are you doing, buddy, boys?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I love your last hour was great?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I better watch out. He's going to get Wally Pip.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I don't know who Wallypip was, but I'm I'm sure
you're going to tell.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Us spaceman for the New York Yankees and one day
Wally Pip says, I don't feel so good today. Why
don't you let that Lou Garritt guy go for me today?
And fifteen years later, Lou Garry never missed the day.
So Wally Pip was out of a job.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Well, I don't think we're quite there yet, buddy.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
But yeah, here's I got another question for who who
the heck ever heard of Wally Pip's disease?

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yeah, hey, I love I loved that last segment.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That was awesome, thanks buddy.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
What I got to admit though, when Fetterman was elected,
oh my god, what is this country coming to? But
he's done a couple of things that has not been
absolutely horrible, right from uh praised him for something the
other day. I'm not exactly sure.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I think he said nice sweat panch.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah no, actually, you know what, Keith, You know you're
saying that, but he almost sounds like a Democrat of yesteryear.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Right, Yeah, it's like, well, he's not quite a Kennedy Democrat.
Well no, maybe maybe a little bit left of it
Clinton Democrat.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Hey, you know, Keith, we've been talking about you know, Crossfire, Hurricane,
the Still dossier, and and man, there's nobody better that
I can you know, find or talk to than you.
You have such great stories, and a lot of people
don't understand about Crawdaddy's and the history of that, you know,
the whole thing. The crossfire hurricane was like busted right there. Man,

(02:24):
Well it.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Wasn't busted there, but there's a great story behind that.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
If you want me to tell absolutely, let's hear it.
Let everybody know.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So this was, you know, right after the you know
all about dossier come up. This is pre COVID And
I get a call from Devin and he's gonna bring
his buddies on a newspaper reporter. They're going to hang
out and have dinner and listen to my band. Devin
loves to hear Beatles songs. So we're playing. All that

(02:55):
place is packed, and I had a guy, you know,
you're there all the time. I invite other guys to
come up, so a man, I invite a man up
and James don't go, I'm seeing here, just sing a
song because you like talk a lot. So so he goes, well,
let's do Jumping Jack flash. And I said okay. So

(03:16):
we go into Jumping Jack Flash and the first line
and jumping Jack Flash. For people that may not be
aware of it is I was born in a crossfire hurricane.
And he also said, hey, Devin, this one's for you,
and the crowd went wild. Everybody in crowd out He's
loves Devin Nuness. So we played the song, and you know,

(03:43):
we played an hour and then we take a break
and one of the guys in the group comes up
and he says, hey, man, that was a wild choice
of songs you played. Why'd you play that? What? Oh,
jumping Jack Flash? I said, oh, just just a song,
this guy sings. And then Devin comes up me and
he goes, Keith, that was really an interesting song. Christ

(04:04):
why did you play that? I thought, well, it's weird.
He asked me that too, and I said, well, just
a song. So going on further into the night, we
take a break and we end up we're done, and
Devin goes, you know, I got a bunch of friends
here and I don't want to go home. Let's go
up to the third floor and let's continue to party whatever.

(04:29):
And I said, you're Devin nuns we can do whatever
you want. I want to hang out with you an
your buddy. So we had a whole group of people
out there in my band, and there's forty people on
the third floor, and there's this little guy was standing
on and off to the side, and nobody was talking
to him. And I went up and I introduced myself

(04:51):
and I said, hey, my name is Keith. He goes, yeah,
I'm a whare of you. I know who you are.
I said, that's nice. Well what's your name? He says,
my name is Lee Smith. And he says, I'm a
newspaper reporter. And I'm thinking, okay, this guy writes for
the timest Alter, the Fresno b or something. I go, well,
who do you write for? He says, well, I'm with
the Washington Times and the Epic. Uh what the Epic?

(05:16):
What is it? Epic Times?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Yes, Times, yep.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, Epic Times.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I got to quit acting like an idiot. This guy's
he said, I've been doing foreign affairs over in the
Middle East for the last five years. Oh, you haven't
been reporting on Fresno high football or not. And he's
been doing serious staff. I'm talking to a serious person.
So he we talked talking. He finally says, hey, man,

(05:43):
why did you play jumping Jack Flash and I go, man,
you're the third one that asked me that. I go,
why are you asking me this? He goes, well, Devin was.
We were privately talking and James Comy had just named
that uh and that instigation crossfire Hurricane. And then when

(06:03):
he was whispering this to us, you started playing that
song and we thought, my god, is Keith listening into
our conversation. Oh no, I'm just that was just stupid luck.
I had nothing to do with that. So that is
the story of that. And then they were just freaked

(06:26):
out that I played that song. So a couple months later,
Lee Smith, well, I'll telling you another thing. So I
didn't know who this Lee Smith Smith was at all.
So the next Monday, I'm in bed watching Sean Hannity,
and Sean Hannity goes, we're here with Middle East expert
Lee Smith, and I thought, oh my god, that's the

(06:48):
guy I was partying with the Crowdaddy's on the third floor.
Amazing man' oh my god, that was too cool. And
then a couple of months goes by. I'm trying to
go as fast as I can because I know but
limited for time here. But a couple of months goes
by and I say, you.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Have this floor, bro, this is a great story.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Okay. So so Devon comes up to me. We're a
local event down at Fox Theater and he walks up
to me and he goes, hey, Keith Lee Smith's writing
this book called The Plot Against the President, and he
wants to know if it's okay with you if he

(07:28):
talks about this story in the book. And I'm thinking, gee, Devon,
do I want to have free national attention for crowdaddies.
Let me give this some thought. Yeah, dude, tell him
to write it up. So a couple months later, it's
the bestseller on Amazon for about three weeks. And I

(07:51):
was so proud that our restaurant was named in that book.
So that's that story.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
You know what's funny. We have the book right here
in front of us, actually.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Page seven, so you know, I got a shitting right next.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
To age seven.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
I want you, Yeah, not on page four hundred and
twenty eight. I want you to next time we get together,
I want you to autograph that page for me. Would
you do that?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Oh? Yeah, I will. I got to tell you another
great part of that. So, just a couple of years ago,
the Great General Mike Flynn was at Crawdaddy's and you know.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
There's love that guy.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
By the way, thanks, Oh my god, Jody, you were there?
Was he just amazing, Oh just amazing talk to everything.
Is amazing human being me and him.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
His favorite dish is one of my favorite dishes there.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
The Akkadian shrimp popsack to do a video with me
and I gave him a twenty eight dollars pop gun.
He gives me a promo. I got General Flynn to
do a promo for giveing him a twenty eight dollars off.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
This kind of guy is though, he's he was super nice.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
You call that. You know what you call that, That's
called the art of the deal right there.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
You know you you blocked me, bro. When I was
talking to him. Remember downstairs, he's sitting there talking to me.
I remember who you are, Joy, and we'll start talking
and here you come up. Hey, we gotta go upstairs.
I'm like, oh, man.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Fifteen minutes later, I said, we're talking to this kide.
I got to get him up in seating, right.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I was like, oh, keith Man guilded.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Oh, but I got to tell you one more thing.
So you know, I got to visiting with General Flynn,
and I said, hey, I gotta I gotta tell you this.
I got to show you this book. He goes, well,
I'm very aware of the book. And he looks, give
me that book because around it, I've got Devin's signature
and Lee Smith. And he said, give me that book
and he underlines Crossfire Hurricane and he says, Keith, I

(09:36):
am cross Fire Hurricane. Lieutenant General Michael Flynn. Wow, that
is a treasure to me.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Oh kidding, you know now.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Just the fact that he signed my book and said
I am cross he is Crossfire. He is the reason
you're right for the investigation of Crossfire Hurricane.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
I was on a contract.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
I got ripped off.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Yeah, and they destroyed him to.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
The FBI was trying to ruin his son's life. They
were going to put him in jail.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
That was law at his finest, buddy.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Yeah, that lawfair. Stuff's got to stop. When he told
me that story, I was sick to my stomach.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
I mean, he sold his house all his life.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
And he was off living in an apartment after that
fell his house for a couple of years. Yeah, that
was terrible.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Hey, Keith, did you ever think that, uh, that you
know was going to play out like that when you
were sitting there, and you know, Devin says, hey, and
I want to bring some guys over Crowndaddy's. And did
you ever think it was going to play out like this?

Speaker 3 (10:35):
No? Are you kidding? I mean, I'd look back on that.
How the hell did I get so lucky for that
to happen? Man? And for just just for just the
luck of the Irish to pick that song out of
it a thousands of songs I could have did James
happened to be there, this friend of mine, and that's

(10:55):
the song, one of the five songs he did with
my band, and he picked that one, the ball song
of all things. That's and I have my Andy Warhol moment.
Just the stars were aligned. I don't know what else.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
That's awesome. You know a lot of people probably don't
know that. You also helped us host a benefit for
Corey Comparatore, who this Sunday will be the one year
anniversary of his death. I'm getting shot exactly?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Can you imagine? I mean, can you believe what's happened
in the last year. A year ago Trump was running
for president? He was shot.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Hey, do you remember where you were.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Yeah, I was sitting right where I am right now.
I went home and took a break, and I'm watching
it live and I just could not I couldn't believe it.
You know.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
It's one of those death right, Oh my god, the
big killing.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Yeah right, it's it's one of those things that happens, man,
that that you think, Hey, I'm going to remember this
for the rest of my life. Where I'm at, you
remember what you were doing? You know, myself Frank and
one of our friends, Jamie Salvatoriara he is, he knows
Constant America, dude, you know him, great guy, right, Yes, dude,
we were sitting at a pizza joint in Exeter, Vip Pizza.

(12:15):
That happened. We're watching it in real time and going,
what the heck just happened? You know?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I thought like a fly bit him or something, or
something like a b went by his hair the way
he swung his hand up there, and all of a
sudden you see blood and everybody rushing, and you realize
this is much more than that.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I got to tell you when I seen President Trump
come up and he had the you know, blood on
his face, and he raised his hand. He starts yelling fight. Yes,
I had no idea I was going to actually feel
like that, you know, it just the patriotism came out,
and then it was anger.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Then it was a whole bunch of things.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
That's one of the greatest human beings that's ever lived.
You know, he's not flawless, but he's an he's an
American hero, and he sure deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Oh lord doesn't he. I think it was within that
within an hour of that, I remember, we were.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
I can I talk about something else?

Speaker 2 (13:15):
What'd you please?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah? I got I got it. You know, you guys
did that. You're giving me credit for that Corey Comparatorio party.
You guys through that was all? That was all Frank
and Jody Folks. I mean that. And what did you raised?
You guys? I provided the room, big deal. I made
a couple of bucks off it. Anyway, you guys raised
what twenty five thousand dollars for that family?

Speaker 2 (13:38):
It was, it was.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
It was a good amount that we sent, you know,
and we wanted to do it. We didn't want to
do we want to send it straight to the family.
So we got a hold of uh, the fire department
over there and sent everything straight to them. So every
bit of that went to the family.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
That was That was wonderful. But you know what that
my friend was Tillarry County. That was vice Shelley.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
I don't know why you wouldn't want it tend it
to go fund me so they could steal it.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Right, That's that's the that's the reason we chose it,
you know. And uh, I have pride living here in
the county, you know, in in Central Valley, in Tillarry County,
Fresno County. You know, we had we live in probably
the best part of California, you know. I always say
that the Central Valley is a slice of Texas and
Florida smack right dab in the middle of California where

(14:27):
all the crazies are. But but we're not.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Right, And ask your flyover part of California.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
They could keep flying though, Keith, I I don't want
them to land here because I don't want them here.
And I'll tell you, ask yourself, I don't need it.
I'm with your Ask yourself. What did San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
San Francisco going down to La State go hang out
at MacArthur.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Park exactly right?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Ask yourself. What did Karen Bass do for the Comparatory family?
What did Gavin Newsom do? What did Los Angeles, that
whole city a four and a half million people, how
much they doing nothing?

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Sure, well, I'm gonna tell you what. When my brother
was murdered.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
She's done a lot of damage. Frank.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
You know what, Keith, When my brother was murdered by
an I legal immigrant, no one contacted me other than
President Trump. He he he got home and and it's
just because of Devins.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
And I'll always but you didn't get contacted by anybody
in the county or the state of Contege.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Well, Chriff Boudreau, Sheriff Boudreau, Yeah he did. And yeah,
we were at church one time and he even called
my brother's up and prayed with him. And you know,
I'll never forget that.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Yeah, I love that guy. He's He's a great American.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, Hey, Keith, thanks man.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
This is the Trevor Cherry Show on the Valley's Power Talk.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Trevor, I hope you're having a great time man out there,
So we we are, and thanks man for letting us
fill in for you. But hey, last segment we had
Keith course garden On. We were talking about Crossfire hurricane
and kind of how it how it came about naming
it with that, and it was it was a great interview.
He's we love you, Keith. But you know what you

(16:17):
know FBI coomy Cia Brennan, the investigation, all the law fair,
the Still dossier, it was all paid for by Hillary Clinton.
Why does that always go away? Though?

Speaker 2 (16:27):
You know, it's amazing what the media determines that we
should be looking at what we shouldn't be looking at.
It's that old adage about nothing to see here, folks,
move along, move along. And I can't think of anything
more d meaning than to tell the rightful masters of
this country that would be the we, the people, that
there's nothing here for you to see. Move along. This

(16:48):
is This is like East Germany, you know, pre Berlin
wall falling down kind of crap where I need to
see your papers. You need to tell me who you are,
where you're going, What are you doing? I need to answer?
Do you know? Oh I don't, No, I don't you
answer to me. You see that White House, We think
that's that's Trump's house and yeah, yeah, yeah, that Mike

(17:10):
Orange guy lives there. Hold on a minute, that's my house.
He lives in my house, the governor's mansion. Gavin Newsom
lives in my house.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
You know, that's why President Trump's having a WWE match
at the White House, because he actually came out and said, hey,
are you you know Noah's UFC my bad. But that's
why he's doing that there at the White House. He said,
this isn't my house, this is the people's house. So
and and every UFC fighter wants to fight in that
at that time on that card.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
Oh that's everyone.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah, you know, Dana White come outs and they asked him, hey,
who actually came out and want to fight? He said, everybody,
every one of my fighters want to fight on that card.
So that's telling you something, you know, well.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Trump actually gets it. Trump is not in this for himself,
and the people that would tell you that are counting
on you not being that right. The truth of the
matter is Trump's got a better house than the White House.
Marlogo is much nicer, much bigger, much cleaner, much newer.
He's got a better jet than Air Force one. He's
probably eating better meals at home than he's eating there,

(18:15):
and so he doesn't really need the job. He's actually
losing money doing this, so slow year old folks. Trump
is not doing this all about him. Now. The rest
of us, poor slobs like us, look at that. Go gee,
that'd be nice, that'd be great. I'd love to have this,
and that the truth of the matter is you're not
at the level that he is. I'm not at that level.

(18:36):
I guarantee you I'm not. But thank god, a man
like that, with that much charisma, with that much business acumen,
wants to do this and wants to clean this mess up.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
But you know what, Frank, you know everybody out there,
we are at a level that we can think for
ourselves and that we know that you know what the
Democrat machine is spitting out. We're not picking up.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Man.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
We don't want that.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
No, I think we know some of us actually get it.
We ask ourselves things like why do certain news stories disappear?
Why did the Hunter laptop story get buried? And this
was CIA, this was FBI, and they were like, oh, no,
there's nothing here. It turns out there was something nothing
here to see. Yeah, And a majority of voters that

(19:20):
voted for Kamala would have voted the other way had
they known the truth because they weren't given the truth.
And then you saw the media now getting sued for doctoring.
Was that NBC? I think it was a CBS that doctors.
CBS doctored their interview with her to make it look

(19:40):
like she was a little smarter than she was. I
think they gave her six IQ points by selective ed.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
I think you got like sixteen million, right, yeah, the
sixty minute interview suit them they settle out a core
for like sixteen million. That's telling you a lot, you
know what I mean, without a doubt.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
And so why do they just why did they decide
what I get to see and what it's not? Like
the days of the town crier hear ye, hear ye,
you know, the king to cluck cry as this or that.
What happened, for example, the Veiggas shooting. Remember that guy.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Who who no I know you're talking about. I'm just
being facetious here because you know it just went away, poof.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Is gone within twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
Gone. Yeah, nobody knows who he was.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Nobody, Well, maybe this guy was a spook.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
They found him in a in the in the room
with a self inflicted gunshot and that was it.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
That was.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Wait, what what? Who was this guy? Nothing?

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Yeah, they definitely filter what they tell us because honestly,
this is about crowd management.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Yeah, that's like saying, you know that the kid at Butler,
you know that climbed up on the roof with all
the law enforcement, all the Secret Service there, took some
shots at the President of the United States and nobody knew. Yeah, okay,
it's that's just hard to swats, a hard pill to swallow.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Well, again, I've I've said this a few times and
and I've heard it more than a few times. From
where I stand. Corruption and incompetence look awfully similar.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
They're eerie similar.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Yes they are. So I'm not sure which one it is,
and neither one's really a healthy answer.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Jody, And what's absolutely sinister? We do know that?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Yeah, Why do I know more about the p Diddy
Puff Daddy Puff, the Dragon trial or the Karen Reid
trial then I know.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
About somebody that tried to kill the President of the
United States?

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Right, or the Epstein List? How come I know more
about this than I know about this?

Speaker 1 (21:33):
So the Epstein List, I think a lot of that.
Here's here's my take on that. You know what, I'll
tell you we're gonna take a break. When we come back,
you can as a Tremor Jerry Show on the Valley's
Power Dog Epstein Epstein Files, what is really going on?
So here's my take, guys, here's what I think is

(21:54):
going on. There's a lot of people that is involved.
So okay, so say he did kill himself. Okay, he
killed himself, But what about all the other information? What
about all the other information that surrounds that, like who
was in the who was at the island, who went
to the island, who was paying to have sex with children?

(22:17):
That means something to me. I don't care how much
money you have or how powerful you are. If you
did that, you need to be held accountable and we
need to find out what happened there. You know, it's
not all about just did he kill himself or did
he not kill himself? You know on this perverbal list
that everybody keeps talking about, is there a list? Is
there not a list? I guarantee you there's documentation somewhere.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Right we're clamoring for red meat as a people, and
we've been told by a lot of people in power.
Trump said it, Bongino said it, a lot of people
that there's a list, there's something there, it needs to
be looked into. And unfortunately, we've been made assurances, I
won't say, we've been made assurances that this will get

(23:02):
looked into, this will get uncovered, this will get figured out.
And for all that forget. Justice is not an outcome.
Justice is not a result. Justice is a process. Just
like we were talking about structure and process, it actually matters.
You need to have a righteous process. And if we
have guilty parties, those people need to be identified and

(23:27):
let the chips fall where they may. I don't care
if you're one of those kind of people. You need
to be exposed and to all I hold dear, I
want to know, but I don't want to just be
served up some pablem Oh, well one guy did something.
There it is, folks, there it is, and then we
all clap. Yah, we got to the bottom of it.
Don't feed me garbage. But there is something there now.

(23:51):
But the fact that you're not telling me makes me
wonder is this part of like a CIA compromise?

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Well, now you will.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
They're trying to get dirt on people.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Yeah, you know, Frank, now you have you know, Bongino
and BONDI. They're clashing there, arguing there, and it's it's
sad it got to this point, right, you know, it's
it either happened or it didn't. We all know there's
something there.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Right, And there was some banter about that Epstein was
a Masad asset, not an operative, but an asset. And
I would not be surprised in the least. I mean,
something like this was going on.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Now.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
I don't want to feel speculation, but what else can
we do but speculation? Jody?

Speaker 1 (24:36):
You know yet you know, Frankie, here's the thing. You know,
you have Dan Mangino. Now he's saying he's thinking about
resigning over this, and and it's just it's amazing to
me again that it gets to to to this point.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
You know, did you see?

Speaker 1 (24:53):
But what's that telling you?

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Though?

Speaker 1 (24:55):
What is that telling you?

Speaker 2 (24:57):
It tells me that something doesn't smell right, right, And
watching the two of them at the press conference talk
about this is a nothing burger, I was reading the
facial expressions that tells the body language and the mannerisms
did not line up with the words.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
Yeah you know he didn't, yeah, you know. And even
President Trump. I love President Trump. I'm a supporter of
voted for him. He did a lot for me and
my family, you know. And the other day when he
came on TV and he said, you know, are we
still talking about Epstein? Well, yes, sir, we are still
talking about Epstein. And rightfully, so yeah, you know, it's
it's a big deal. It's a big deal to me

(25:38):
who went to that island and who was you know,
who was involved in that?

Speaker 3 (25:43):
You know.

Speaker 1 (25:43):
But and I get it. You know, if if you're
a politician or you know, just even being around Epstein,
even if you were doing nothing bad, if you have
pictures with him, if you've been at dinners with him,
that's gonna be negative. That's gonna be a negative on you.
Oh without it, and it's almost like a deal breaker,
you're done right.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
And and honestly, we can't ruin people doing guilt by association.
We cannot ruin people like that. If you did something
bad and we know anything about it, this needs to
be brought to light. But again, to all the good
people out there, I know we all want some red meat.
I want somebody's head on a stick. I truly do.

(26:25):
There's nothing lower than this. But let's not be so
quick to barbecue somebody, just for the sake of saving ourselves.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
You know. And I heard I was listening to Trevor
the other day and he said, you know, let's not
throw the baby out with the bath water. You know,
we can't do that, you know. So what we need
to do is we need to have reserve right now
and just kind of see how this plays out and
hopefully and pray to God. But the pressure on, yeah, exactly,
don't lift the pedal up, you know, please keep doing investigation.

(26:56):
The problem is is you have Patel and Bondi and
are saying that's it. There's nothing here, there's nothing more here.
He killed himself, you know, sit and that's not it.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
That may be true, that may not be true. I
don't know. I don't have a truth that I.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
It smells man, similar to a lot of other things.
You know, we're talking about stories that disappear. I think
they want this story to disappear.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Smells like Smallet.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
It smells like Smollett in here. Well, you know, we
could go on and on and on about all the
different stories you know that we've seen come and go,
things that just kind of vanish. And I think it's
important that nobody give cover to evil. It's important that

(27:51):
and the media, of course, it has been a very
long time since there was any TV show, radio show,
print media, even electronic media that actually felt it had
a duty to bring honest information to people. Now, in theory, NPR,
PBS is there to serve the people and tell the truth.

(28:12):
These are extensions of the Democratic Party. I'm not going
to lead myself down to the flower path on that one.
That's ridiculous. But honestly, Trevor does a great job of
speaking the truth. That's why I'm honored to be on
the show. I know every Saturday we do our darnedist
to look people in the eye and tell them what
I believe to be the truth. And perhaps what I'm

(28:32):
saying might not be comfortable because it might run contrary
to what you've chosen to believe.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
But you know what, Frank, if somebody don't agree with it,
that's okay, because you know, that's what America is about.
And somewhere along the line, we've lost the you know,
the ability to you know, disagree with somebody. You know,
if you disagree with somebody, they're your enemy. Now, you know,
that's that's not I don't think like that. I think
if somebody disagrees with me, that's fine, it's okay, it's.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Actually healthy American way thought. I want to provoke a conversation.
If you don't think what I think, like you said,
perfect at a bare minimum, I've drawn you out for dialogue.
I've drawn you out for discourse. We can now have
an intelligent conversation and at the end of it, one
of us is going to walk away a little bit smarter,

(29:18):
you know.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Yeah, you know, I watch the TV, and I'm and
and I I watch it all. I watch CNN, I
watch MSNBC, I watch Fox, I watch News Max. I
watch it all because I'm the one that watches everything
and I and I do my own due diligence and
I form my own thoughts.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Okay, So why you didn't get a COVID shot?

Speaker 1 (29:42):
Yeah, you know, I just I just lost my thought process. No,
I'm just kidding now, it's you know, so I love
debating with somebody. I love talking about things that that provoke,
you know, conversation, And to me, that's what it is, conversation.

(30:04):
And you know, it's it's funny when I'm talking to
a lot of people and and a lot of people
like to say that they like to talk to me
because I don't get crazy, I don't yell, I don't scream.
It's because that's the easy way out. That's a non
intelligent way out when you, you know, you just yell
and scream at somebody because you don't like what they're saying.

(30:24):
You know, if you don't like what they're saying, then
talk to them and engage, you know, don't yell, don't scream,
don't punch them in the face. That's not the American way.
The American way is debate. You debate with people. That's
the American way. And we've gotten away from that. You
can't you can't talk to anybody anymore because they'll get

(30:47):
bad at you. They'll you know, yell at you, they'll
scream at you, they'll call you names, racist, homophobe, all
these just super bad names. But here's what I want
you to do. Don't be a to be called those things.
If they call you that, call them out on it,
and you can call him out on it intelligently. You

(31:07):
don't have to say, you know, call them names back.
But you know, it's it's that's where we went wrong.
As conservatives and as Republicans, we let them. We let
them change the narrative, and they let them. We let
them control the narrative. So when they call you names,
instead of coming back and say, hey, hey, who whoa, whoa, whoa,

(31:28):
I'm not a racist, I'm not this, I'm not that,
we just kind of conformed and it was like, okay,
what do I do now? What do I do now
he called me a racist? I don't know what to
be a checkmate?

Speaker 2 (31:36):
You lost?

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Yeah, you know, it's like, no, I'm not a racist.
I don't care what color you are, black, green, purple.
I don't care. If you're a good person, you're gonna
be my friend.

Speaker 2 (31:45):
I just don't like you because you're a jerk.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Now what what color? God hung on you?

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Has nothing new with it, you know, And I don't care.
I don't care your social economic background. I don't care
your sexual preference. I do not care. If you're a
good person, you're going to be my friend right period
in the story.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Yeah, I don't care. I can tell you honestly, I
go out of my way to be accommodating. I wish
to be polite, kind and open the door to everybody
who is worthy of coming through that door. Don't kick
my door down, don't smash my fence and run into me.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
You know, just like an immigration. I'm so for immigration,
legal immigration. I know a lot of good people. Look
at David tanepaul A, Simon, David tingepaul he has like
the greatest American story his mother. They came here American citizens,
became an American citizens. What a great story that is. It's beautiful,

(32:45):
it truly is.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
And again, if we're going to be a melting pot,
you melt into my pot, right, I don't have to
change my pot for you. It does not work that way.
And we have a culture, yes we do. I want
to say Christmas, Yes, I mean too. I want to
say I love my mom, I love my grandpa, I
love my grandma. Yeah, no, this I don't want to

(33:06):
say I love my person.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (33:09):
You're right, No, I'm totally with you. And I again,
were it not for the structure and order, this place
would not look like this place. Disneyland. Why does it
look like Disneyland, Jody? What makes it Disneyland? They have walls,
they have walls, they have a fence, they have a gate. Right,
if you took down all the walls at Disneyland, it

(33:30):
would look like Orange County. Yeah, there'd be homeless people
peeing on the sidewalk. It'd be a mess.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Right, Yeah, I guess what. You need a ticket to
get in?

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
It's like you don't just walk in, right, there's a
code of conduct. Or you don't just climb the fence
and come and.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
You know what to the twenty million people that came
here under Biden with that auto pen, now is the
day of reckoning. We all knew that that which was
stolen was going to be given back. Ultimately, this was
not yours for the taking and keeping. What happened then
was wrong. This needs to get fixed.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
We don't owe you a free life because you came
through the fence. You're not entitled to that.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
And don't be afraid to say, I am a person
of law and order. I do not want illegal immigrants
here in the United States. If they want to come in,
come in the right way. And if they come in
the right way, I'll be right there give them a
high five helping them come in.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Without a doubt. You're my brother. If you come in
the right way, and you join this team. I love you,
You're my brother. I'm with you, and.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
I want to make a point here. It's not a
Hispanic thing. No, it's an immigration thing, right, I don't care.
I don't care if you're from Mexico's El Salvador, China.
I don't care where you're from. It's an immigration thing.
Let's let's throw that out the window. Let's get that
little you know.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
It's a Mexican Mexic and Mexico. It's not. It's not
border is with Mexico, right, that's our border and I
know it well. I was born right now. Even Mexico
is shutting it down, Yes they are. This is Trevor
Carey Show on the Valley's Cower.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Talk Jody Jones with my co host Frank Van Lanningham.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Great to be here, Thanks.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
I have a show every Saturday right here on Power
Talk one pm. Please tune in. Would love to have
you part of the show.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
So.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
I am an Angel family member, and if you don't
know what that is, unfortunately, it is a family that
has had their family member murdered by an legal immigrant.
And we have a lot of Angel family members in America. Unfortunately,
and we're going to have Mary Ann Mendoza. She's the

(35:40):
founder of Angel Mothers, Angel Families. She's gonna be coming
on in a little bit and we're gonna be talking
about some stuff she's doing. She's working with Tom Homan
and President Trump's administration on a lot of issues, and
we're going to have her on talking about it. Her
son was murdered in two thousand and four. He was
an Arizona Police officer, Brandon Mendoza. He was killed on

(36:04):
his way home after completing his shift on an illegal
alien with a blood alcohol level of three times the
legal limit. Crashed into him head on and unfortunately, he
lost his life due to that crash. The assistant Trevor
