Speaker 1 (00:00):
Simmily, remember Karl Demyer, He joins us, I assume from
a Sacramento assemblymen.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Actually, I'm in San Diego on my way to Orange
County where we're doing a mailing party for our voter
ide initiative. So I'm not taking any time off. We're
going into battle forever. We're going into battle, and we
are suiting up, and we're getting the grassroots army together.
And you know, if Gavin Newson thinks he can just
simply rig elections and deceive voters, I think he's going
(00:30):
to be quite surprised. I think there's going to be
a rebellion on November fourth in this special election.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I've always said I can't believe President Trump at his age,
He's everywhere. It seems like some of those days you're
in the campaign, he'd be on one side of the
country in the morning on the other side. I put
you in that top ten man. You are just an
all over the place kind of guy, do you. I
bet you rarely take time off.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Rarely take time off. I was in Fresno with my
good friend assembly Member David Tangipa just a few weeks
ago for a voter idvolunteer training, and we're going to
come back when we when we kick off this signature
drive for California Voter ID, We're going to come back Saturday,
October eighteenth, at three o'clock in the afternoon for a
(01:12):
big rally in Fresno. People can r SVP is a
free event, but they need a ticket. R SVP at
voter idevents dot org, voter ID events dot org, show up,
sign the petition and help us restore the farness of
our elections by having voter ID.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Voter ID emails dot o, r No events, vot voter
ID events. I'm sorry, events dot org. I just got
all confused. It sounded kind of race racist. Yeah, you
know that ID kind of thing. As we're doing well, Carl,
I'm glad you're out moving around October eighteenth, three o'clock
big rally. You've been very outspoken, as our Republicans have
(01:56):
been against this jerrymandering. And I stated jerrymanderin kind of medieval,
like the peasants for jerry managering. Assemblymen explain for those
the life boogie of California to survive, a lot of
people don't get to really. They catch bits and pieces
of this explain jerry managering.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Okay, So in our democracy, we have election districts, whether
it's city council districts or state senate, state assembly districts,
or in this case, congressional districts, and they have to
be equal population. Well, if you have a state like
California with fifty two districts where you draw the lines
(02:34):
could actually end up dictating who wins the seat, whether
it's an individual or yes, a political party. So jerry
mandering is the practice of the politicians manipulating the lines
of the districts so that they personally or politically benefit
(02:55):
from the lines that are drawn. Now, we don't want
lines to be drawn to benefit a policy titian or
a political party. We want lines to be drawn that
reflect community ties, that reflect democracy. And if you do that,
if you have fair lines, fair districts that makes sense,
that represent community ties, represent geography, then you're going to
(03:19):
get better representation. Let me give you an example of
a jerrymanderd district. Maxine Waters is back blank crazy, but
she's in south central LA, the Watts area, predominantly black.
But what you could do is you could literally draw
(03:41):
her district from her Watts all the way down the
four H five Freeway in southern California in LA and
go into Orange County and pack in just enough Republican
voters to make them irrelevant because all of those blue
voters will basically dilute the voices of those red voters.
And what happens in Jerry Remandering is you take those
(04:01):
Republican voters and you dilute their voice so that you
can go from forty of California voting for Republicans generically
to having zero zero Republican representatives in the US Congress
the map that they've drawn, instead of going completely to zero,
they go down to just three. That's what they've decided
(04:24):
to give us three. Well, let me ask you this,
Dukens get.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Do Republicans do that to Democrats in some of the
red states to factor out their Democrat votes?
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yes? And that's why I've been kind of like a
populist on this because I'm a government reformer. I don't
care what political party is trying to manipulate lines. It's wrong,
full stop. And so you know in Texas, there's two
things that are different in Texas. Number One, Texas is
(04:54):
being told they have to redraw the lines, not by
Donald Trump, by the way, by the Department of Justice
under Biden, and the federal courts that they violated the
minority right of voters in Texas the Voting Rights Act.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Because of the district has to be a certain minority right, correct.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
So they basically violated federal law and they had to
redraw the districts based on federal legal compliance. But more importantly,
Texas doesn't have what we have in California, which is
an independent citizens redistricting commission that has to use nonpartisan
criteria in drawing the maps. Like I explained earlier, that
(05:40):
was put in place by the citizens in a twenty
ten election where they did a citizens' initiative and said,
we're sick of the politicians manipulating the lines. We want
to get the politicians out of redistricting, and it should
be done by randomly selected citizens with a bipartisan composition
of the board. The maps should be drawn in the
(06:02):
light of day, in public testimony, and partisanship and political
benefit to politicians should be absolutely against the law. And
so we now have this open process in California that's
been working pretty darn good, and now the Democrat politicians
want to end it again. Let me be clear, I
don't care if it's a Republican jerry mandred plan or
(06:26):
a Democrat jerry mandred plan. Jerry Mandering is corrupt, it's wrong,
and it shouldn't happen anywhere in the United States of America.
But what we have here in California is a model
that does it right. And the Democrats in Sacramento, Gavin Newsom,
want to full voters into reversing what the voters clearly
(06:46):
have said they want it all along, which is fair maps,
fair elections.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
My guess is California State Assemblyman Karl de Mayo simblyman
during the man made lockdown, you know, some court stated
that Newsom violated the state constitution, be against the state
constitution if he did not move it to a vote, correct.
Is that why he's having.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
To do that?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
So a couple of things. My office on Monday released
a three point legal memo laying out all the violations
of the state constitution that Newston and California Democrats would
have to commit in order to even call a special election.
The reality is this, they cannot.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
We lost you there, can you hear us? Hello Houston,
Hello Houston. Let's go ahead and let's drop that line.
Maybe when it hangs up, he'll realize what happened. And
this is one of these moments where I got to
be a reporter on the scene.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Is CNN. We've lost contact with the assemblymen here.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
He was talking about the Office of the Legislative Council,
how they provide non part and legal services and they're
not authorized to provide general legal advice or interpretation of
laws to members of the public. All right, I thought
he would already called back by Now, I tell you
what I'm gonna do. Here's what I'm gonna do. We're
gonna go to break. I hope San Diego just didn't
(08:17):
get nuked or something. All right, Okay, I'm gonna I'm
gonna count five, four, three.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Two one. We'll come back with DeMaio.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
This is the Trevor carry Show, Condom Valley's.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Power Talk.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Knew some Hella press conference over the redisser king my
guests back on California. Simonloman, Carl de Mayo. I don't
remember what I had for dinner last night, but I
remember right where we were. You were talking about the
questions you raised about violating the state constitution.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Welcome back, thanks.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
So there are three violations. Number one, the timeline. The
governor is not allowed to get California back into the
redistricting business because it's twenty twenty five and the state
constitution says we can only revisit redistricting every ten years
on the ones. So him calling a special election in
November of twenty twenty five is against the state constitution.
(09:19):
It's illegal. Second violation is the legislature and the governor
are not allowed to be involved in adopting maps. That's
exactly what they're doing here. They're adopting maps and putting
them before voters. They drew maps, they adopt the maps,
and this is against the law as stated in the constitution.
And then third violation is that they're using partisanship to
(09:43):
draw the maps. They've even admitted their crime. They've said
we're going to get rid of five Republican districts to
counterbalance what's going on in Texas. Well. The state constitution
prohibits the use of partisanship to draw a line. So
for all of these reasons, some is breaking the law,
and of course he's going to do it. In his
(10:03):
views might makes right, and we're going to take him
to court, but at the end of the day, we're
going to have to beat him at the ballot box
because the Democrats and the courts at California are corrupt
and they're willing to break the law time and time again,
and the only way to stop them will be public
pressure through the ballot box by rejecting the initiative.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Well, if I'm picking up what you're throwing down, the
chances of it stop being stopped by a court by
November very slim, very.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Slim, very slim. But we have to go to court nonetheless,
because if by some reason we don't prevail in November,
which I think we're going to win this fight. But
if we don't prevail, then we actually have an opportunity
to go to the courts at least delay the maps
and possibly I think have a good shot at overturning them.
(10:52):
But again, the best way to dispose of this is
to get the voters to vote it down in November.
Our challenge, though, is that Newsom is ning the voters
on the ballot. Remember we suited up in twenty eighteen,
you me, Trevor. We were out there at the parking lot,
moving our mobile radio stations in a parking lot, literally
on the move every twenty minutes, to collect signatures on
(11:16):
the gas tax repel. Well, the Democrats killed the gas
tax reppeel by giving us a false, in misleading ballot title. Well,
Newsom is back at it. He's putting on the ballot
that his initiative, his ballot measure, would preserve the independent
citizens or Districting Commission, when in fact, he nullifies it.
(11:37):
So he's a liar, and he's lying to voters on
the ballot, trying to fool them. And that's why we've
got to run an aggressive campaign to get the voters
the truth and get them to vote no on Newsom's scam.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I was reading Politico. They said, by a nearly two
to one margin, voters prefer keeping an independent line drawing
panel to determine our House seats. So that gives me
optimism here.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
But the ballot title is deceptive, and Newsom is trying
to pretend like his initiative keeps the independent Commission. Do
you see how corrupt this guy is? Do you see
how you have.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
You seen the wording yet?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Oh yes, oh no, no, we got our hands on
their polling, and they've been doing these polls to see
what tricky words they can use on the ballot to
dupe voters into approving this. So we have our work
cut out for us. But the good news is, as
you just reference, the voters are on our side on
the issue. The challenge is is that Newsom is lying
(12:36):
to them on the ballot. The ballot title is going
to be very confusing and very misleading. So we need
everybody to join our grassroots campaign so that everyone has
the materials, the information they need to give to their
neighbors or friends or family members when the ballots come
in the mailbox on October first. So go to the
website Reform California dot org and sign up at the
(12:59):
bottom Reform California dot org. We need everyone off the
couch and into the fight to save our democracy here.
We need fair elections and that won't happen if the
politicians gets Jerry Mander.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
My guess, California State Assemblyman Carl de Mayo, let's talk
financial costs. I know I've heard two hundred million, but
we know California projections, it'll be it'll end up being
higher than that. That's that's kind of I guess, as
you've learned now being in Sacramento, kind of kind of
pocket change for government. How they look at our money
out there, But we're already strained. I was reading the
(13:34):
release from a similarman, tany Pa here talking about two
hundred already strained. It the base setup, and it's just
not right to we don't have the money we need
poddoles cover that would cover around my neighborhood right there.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah, the cost that my office put out last week
is two hundred and fifty million dollars. And that's a
low end estimate because remember, a lot of money is laundered,
let me just use the right word, laundered. Money is
laundered to left wing political groups, and we see a
lot of them in Central Valley getting taxpayer money, your
(14:11):
state taxpayer money for their politics. So the low end
estimate is that this is going to cost us two
hundred and fifty million dollars for an unnecessary, illegal special election,
for a corrupt plan that undermines the fairness of our elections.
What an absolute abuse of power that Newsome and Sacramento
(14:35):
Democrats are engaging in here. It's a waste.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
They're sneaky snakes, aren't they this special election? It's way
way off, it's not even a midterm. What do you
think the turnout would be even if the wording will
fool a lot of people, Well, do you think many
people will come out and even know that this is
a big deal? I bet it'd be really low turnout.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
What we expect based on prior special elections, that the
turnout is going to be between forty percent and fifty percent,
maybe as high as fifty five percent statewide. In Central
Valley turnout tends to be a little lower. But my
goal is to make sure that every common sense voter
in California turns out. And we're going to do a
(15:19):
lot of get out the voter operations in Central Valley
in Fresno, and so we need everyone involved at that website,
Reform California dot org. You know, this is not going
to be a well funded campaign that we're going to
have on our side, but we will have the truth
on our side, and we have the issue on our side.
As you just referenced, two thirds of California voters agree
(15:39):
with us that we shouldn't have politicians manipulating the districts
for their political and partisan benefit. So we need more
people to join the fight. If they want a better California,
if they want to take back control of the state,
they need to get involved in the fight at reform
California dot org.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Assembly Men, you mentioned the valley and the turnout with
voting lower here, But that gets me to the census
as well. We're basing it off population that we don't
even know as correct or are not. How many are citizens, how.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Many are illegal?
Speaker 1 (16:09):
We have a high illegal alien population, do the ag
here in the valley? So all the numbers are kind
of kind of skewed, aren't they.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
They are, And I don't think the founders ever anticipated
that we would have an open border back in seventeen
eighty nine when they put our constitution together, and so
it is a flaw in the wording of our constitution.
But the good news is that we do have a
(16:38):
secure border. And let me be clear. You know, Republicans
need to do a better job of explaining we are
a nation of immigrants. We've had ten generations of the
best and brightest coming to America and look at the result.
We've created the best country on the planet. Now, unfortunately,
(17:02):
the latest wave of illegal immigration hasn't always been the
best in the brightest and so what we need to
do is talk about the secure border, achieve the secure border,
but still offer the ability for people to come here
and be part of our great nation. And so we
need a balance, and Central Valley understands that what we
(17:25):
need to do is make sure that our policies reflect
a vetting process, a secure border, and really allowing people
who want to work hard and play by the rules
to be part of the American dream, which we've always
allowed for the last ten generations. And that most I'll
tell you seventy percent of Americans agreed that we should
(17:45):
continue to have a good immigration system and be welcoming.
What we have right now is not bad.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Some of them endmio.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
I want to thank you for your continued fighting and
Sacramento and yes, let's thump Newsome down. Wouldn't that be
great messages to send across the country. His own state
voted voted it is.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
It would end his presidential campaign. So if you want
to stop him from becoming president, if you want to
punish him for this bad behavior, get involved in the
campaign and let's defeat him. November fourth, Reform California dot org.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Folks get involved. You want to give a little or
give a lot to help fight the against this vote
on November fourth, some of them, and thank you, sir, appreciate.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
It, Thank you you bet.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
This is the Trevor Cherry Show on the Valley's Power Talk.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
I want to thank everybody for being here today. Let's
a flow here tomorrow. Let's clap for ourself, bord Nate.
We're moral, not all of you on November fourth.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
We're moral for each other to win this election and
stand up for our democracy.
Speaker 4 (18:48):
Thank you all, very very much.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
Shann in Spanish, this is a mayor speaking with say.
Speaker 6 (19:01):
That is, don't do that, don't do that. I don't
do that.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
I'm sorry, Lennasa. I wonder she was down there in
that crowd. Well, I'm just worn out, just ripping on
newsom Scott Jennings.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Can you help me. Please let me summarize.
Speaker 7 (19:18):
Let me summarize Gavin new some speech today. Jerry mandering
is evil. Please vote for my jerry mandering. Of course,
he failed to mention that it's already jerry mandered. Republicans
get forty percent of the vote in California. They have
seventeen percent of the congressional seats under a supposed independent
redistricting commission. So we're going to further jerrymander the jerrymandering.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
By that standard. Scott Texas is also jerry mander.
Speaker 7 (19:44):
So I'm going to keep out about Illinois.
Speaker 8 (19:46):
Here.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Here's the issue. I I they're on a regular census
the legislature. There jerry mander in Illinois. That's all right.
I got an idea.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Let's take a map of America and do some squares
in just put them down, and some of them had
to be bigger or a little bit smaller, depending on population.
I understand that, but I think somebody that lives a
few miles from me should have the same representative in
Congress as opposed to the guy that lives in Lake
Tahoe having the same representative in Congress as I do
(20:18):
under Congresson Tom mclenntock, some just doesn't seem right. But
he's behind the wheel, he's got it all under control.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
May summarize.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Let's go to newsom here.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Senator Pidia was referencing, you want to go fast, go alone,
you want to.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Go far, go together?
Speaker 5 (20:38):
And I look back at this audience and I look
at all of you united in this cause, and I'm
reminded where we are at this precious moment in time.
We are in Los Angeles, the most diverse city, in
the most diverse county, in the most diverse state, in
(21:01):
the world's most diverse democracy.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
And I've long.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
Believed that the world looks us to all of you
to see that it's possible to live together and advance
together and prosper together across every conceivable and imaginable difference.
What makes La great, what makes California great, what makes
the United States of America great, is at our best,
we don't tolerate our diversity. We celebrate our diversity.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
And it's a point of pride. Did you drive around
in this together?
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Did you drive around all together and look around, smell
a you were downtown. That's what we're talking about. We're
not talking about peoples skin pigmentation. We're talking about the
cesspool that this state has become. Just see, they just
keep all this kind of thing going, like they're standing
up for people, so they never had to focus on
what they're not providing people anyone to be all tough guy.
(21:54):
I wonder why immigration might have shown up there pro.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Up in his minions. Tom Homan, tough guy, tough guy
he called home and a tough guy. Why would he
thumb his nose like this?
Speaker 5 (22:06):
I don't know, President Trump, It's time to stand down.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, there there were immigration raid outside border patrol. I
showed up and.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
That this just happened to be a coincident. There is
no way this was a coincidence.
Speaker 9 (22:18):
This was widely publicized that the governor and many of
our other elected officials were having a press conference here
to talk about redistricting, and they decided they were gonna
come and thumb their nose in front of the governor's face.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Thumb their nose in front of the governor's face.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Say, President Trump, it's time to stand down.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, I'm gonna call home in a tough guy. That
was that's La Mayor Karen Bess Ackwards talking there about
the thumbing, dumbing, dumbing in the naz right in front
of the governor's face. What is she like, he's King
Arthur and she's at his round table or when would
you do that?
Speaker 9 (22:55):
That is unbelievably disrespectful. In Criminals Spocket of Act, they're
talking about disorder in Los Angeles and they are the
source of the disorder in Los Angeles right now. This
is just completely unacceptable. This is a administration, this is
a customs and Border patrol that has gone amuck.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
This absolutely has to stop.
Speaker 9 (23:16):
There was no danger here, there was no need to
detain anyone here, and there was certainly no need to
have a provocative act right here where the governors had
to impress mind.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Hey, hey, mayor, I'm sure there's some people up in
Pacific Palisades that needs your attention. Shouldn't you be in
your office rebuilding the city, that part of it that
burned down? Why are you out there?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Even?
Speaker 1 (23:38):
What does jerry mandering have to do with you? Nothing?
Naa people of vlat vote for you. It stunning, nothing
to do with your office whatsoever. You're the mayor of
Los Angeles. How did that Cuban coming?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Man? Here's more news from here.
Speaker 10 (24:01):
The most corrupt president in history. He doesn't believe in
free enterprise, crony capitalism. He is wrecking this country, wrecking
the economy. It's a lawless president. Wake up America, wake
up to what's going on.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Wake up America and listen to California. Listen to our
press conferences America.
Speaker 11 (24:22):
Aleroorb Yeah, the Democrat. I've almost the fendiendo. It's the
old guess that's the faise. I've almost said.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Yes, so what that so now that's good news.
Speaker 10 (25:00):
Them.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Bullshiff was there.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
He's he's under the gun right now because his house
in intelligence Cherry had some things we call classified information,
and he leaked it to the media in the FBI
Director Casher tell Us put it out DJ looking into it. Charges,
I don't know, statute, the limitations, uh what though? They
can move that date up to something he said or
(25:23):
did in public, and he tweet any comment that he
made at all. There you're lying still. They could go
back just this week and go you're lying still, you're
still continuing it.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Here he was. He was introduced someone who.
Speaker 12 (25:42):
Has a proven track record in defending democracy, our Senator
Adam Schiff.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
This is deep, get ready, very deep, folks.
Speaker 12 (25:55):
We are at a precarious moment in our nation's history.
All of us in this room who have lived in
the generation post World War two were used to growing
up in a world of ever increasing freedoms. We saw
new democracies being born, We saw walls coming down, We
saw our freedoms expand the freedom to speak our mind
or practice our faith history, I can love who we
(26:17):
would love. And we thought that this was anegiable, that
it was like the moral arc of the universe, always
bending towards justice, until suddenly we found ourselves in a
world where it was not bending towards justice. Until suddenly
we saw not new democracies being born, but new autocracies.
Instead of seeing our own rights here at home expand
(26:38):
we saw them start to contract.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
All right, he really has his finger on the pulse
of America and what we're worried about, what California is
worried about. And you know what I want to do,
just to smear it in his face right now as
he goes on his little tangent or ripping into President Trump.
Let me see, canomic numbers are looking better?
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Border?
Speaker 1 (27:03):
No people being released in I'm sure there's still some
people might be slipping through, but secured at least to
the beyond what it was, way way, way, way better.
Campaign promised to deport criminals. Tom Homan said, if you're
standing around, you're illegal. We're sworn our oath we have
to arrest you. That is also happening, so he's going
(27:26):
to meet with with Putin tomorrow in Alaska. The tariffs
fifteen percent on the EU zero on what we send
over there. All the money that's coming from the tariffs, now,
what was it a twenty three billion dollar surplus that
it was the opposite last year. It's kind of stupid
(27:48):
money when we're thirty seven trillion dollars in debt. But
things are going well, extremely well with what they're having
to fight. Think what they could be doing for the
good of America if they didn't have to take care
of all the crap left behind. All right, to smear
it and she's face, let's play that. We know who
(28:09):
the president is. We know that you weren't able, were you?
Speaker 2 (28:12):
At the end of the day?
Speaker 12 (28:13):
Bill, There's only one way to deal with this problem,
whether we impeach him or not, and that is to
vote his ass out of office.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Well he's in office, you fool. What do you got
to say?
Speaker 12 (28:22):
Now, This is a president who has never viewed himself
as a president of the United States of America, vote
only as a president of some of the states and
some of the regions that voted for him. This has
never been the case in America, but I will say this,
you come after our votes in California and we will
(28:43):
fight you tooth and nail.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Where are the California Fighters And what's the California Fighters motto? Well,
I guess the new motto of the election rigging Reach
Sponse Act. Don't you poke that bear.
Speaker 12 (29:04):
Don't Donald Trump, You do not poke the bear, not
while we're around. And people need to understand why he's
doing this. They just passed in Congress the most reprehensible bill,
their big ugly bill that is raising healthcare costs for
millions of people. It's going to cost millions of people
(29:25):
their healthcare.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
As we stand.
Speaker 12 (29:27):
Here today, notices are already beginning to go out to
tell people their health insurance costs are going up by
fifty percent or seven.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
This is the Trevor Jarry Show. On the Valley's Power.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Talk, Carl de Mayo talking about the jerry mandering, all
the map change in that they're trying to put together
here in California. And I love the fact that Homan
sent ice in right outside their press conference in downtown
smell A. Here's Congressman Kevin Kylie. His district is one
they're trying to trying to redo up.
Speaker 6 (30:01):
Sim has targeted me again and again.
Speaker 8 (30:04):
Last year, he actually sent his own staff member to
run against me, and I won by forty six thousand votes.
And the reason he's targeting me is very clear because
I've been leading the opposition to his absolutely insane policies
and we've actually been very successful in reversing a number
of them.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
What this beelzebub of a dipty dub governor is doing
rather obvious, isn't it. He's overturning the voters to California.
And as the Simment Demaiyah was saying, the wording that
he's doing, he's making it look like, now, no, I'm
here to help. I really am.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Let's see, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Let me think, let me knock on mister nawny.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Who couldn't trick?
Speaker 6 (30:44):
Is he doing?
Speaker 8 (30:45):
That? Could have been me?
Speaker 1 (30:47):
See, Yeah, he's on the way.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
He's gonna help, help is on the way.
Speaker 6 (30:54):
Gavin Newsom is a unique threat to democracy. He is
trying to overturn the will of voters who put in
place an independent citizens Redistricting Commission. He's come up with
a scheme to sideline that commission and to seize its
powers for himself in order to draw a hyper partisan map.
Will reduce Republicans to holding nine out of fifty two seats.
Speaker 8 (31:15):
That's what we have right now. Not that many, but
that's too many for him. So he's going to reduce
that to three or four out of fifty two.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Yeah, because he's going to fight Texas. He's going to
get everybody across the nation that are Democrats in other
states to go. Look how he stands up. He is
a national fighter. This is all just part of his plan.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Man.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
You don't even have to look at it from thirty
five thousand feet above. You can see it from ground
level and down here on ground level. We got some
people that get in their cars and well throw back
a bunch of boothe before they get in their car.
I got two stories of DUI. One took out a powerpole,
went one just plowed through a construction zone. Guy was
(31:59):
arrested early this morning suspicion of driving under the influence
suspicion two am Eastern Ashland. Crashed into a power poll
at Arthur Avenue. Car rolled over, hit the pole, came
to rest on the other side of the road. Driver
taking into custody, hit company and all driving under the influence,
working to replace the pole in and Somethinghow drunk people
(32:21):
normally don't seem to get so hurt in accidents. This guy,
another guy here, suspected of being impaired. He drove through
a closed construction zone. All right, another victim of high
speed rail here on it now. This guy didn't die,
But Golden State and Shaw's closed. So the new high
speed rail and will be for whatever they say. Just
(32:43):
times it by seven. And they got this whole temporary
lane shift thing going on. And cruise out there working
all the big road closed signs, all the barriers, all
the detour signs.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
I We'll drive right through it.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Three times over the legal limit. Horse meat and water
and a half inch cot make them sitting there for
twenty years. This person was hospitalized after being hit by
a car northwest Fresno last night about nine oh six
Marx and Ashcroft. They roll up, the cops do they
(33:20):
find a person and a child out in the roadway.
The grown up was taken to the hospital. The child
that was standing next when they crossed the street wasn't hit.
Had some minor injuries unrelated to the crash. That's kind
of strange. Child was also taken to the hospital. They
said car coming down on Mars Avenue approaching Ashloan when
the crash happened.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Driver did cooperate.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
And I'm surprised I don't see more of this next
story than I see. This is a serious injury, not
in death, but I see it all over now. Some
of these seem to be going thirty forty miles an hour,
these e bikes, these eat scooters. I've seen a dude
going up and down Shaw here, no helmet and going
(34:06):
that fast. Man, you hit wrong, that's like being thrown
out of a car at that rate of miles per hour.
And I see them up by Wilburd Park, a lot
crossing right there. I mean, it's kind of cool technology,
great way to get around if you don't have a
have a car. But now we got this blending of
(34:28):
speeds that are normally on the road, that aren't on
the road going fast. Teenager riding an electric bike was
injured yesterday afternoon collision with a pickup in Clovis one
oh five in the afternoon. Clovis Fire treated the team
for taking in the hospital. Driver's stay. They're not saying
it was drugs or alcohol involved, but they're saying watch
(34:49):
out before and after school Boy.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
They are jetting around
Speaker 4 (34:51):
The insistent Trevor Jerry Show, London Valley's power dog,
