DRIVING TIP

A week ago, yesterday, and my daughter got her permit
excited to drive, and we're excited she's excited to drive
because we've noticed there's a good portion of kids out
there who don't want to drive.

the time get in some kind of scooter. So anyway,
if she wanted to go for a drive, we wanted
to go for a drive. So we're gonna do country
road up to one fifty one up to Columbia High School.
Where's school? Yeah, two lane road, but one of them
is fifty five. You know, but we're on the back

There's not a lot of shoulder all the time shoulder,
but also not a lot of traffic.

At this point, there was a truck coming opposite direction
when a squirrel right out in front of us, and
she began to swerve, which I corrected. Okay, all right.
I had to have this conversation where you had the
discussion about you have to kill the squirrel. Yes, you
can to slow down, but you can't lock them up.
You have anywhere who's behind you, but you definitely cannot

swerve for any small roadent.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
How was she with regards to that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
She takes a good message, she does, okay, good, all right.
So she's a little quiet, all right, but she's ready.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
You know, she may have to plow through a deer
it some days some point, and she'll think about you
having saved her for it.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
This is where I'm excited. She's going to take drivers
head in the fall.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, it's possible because they.

Probably know the exact answer. Yes, Like, I'm not sure

Yeah, what's the thing down south? The armadillo? I ran
over an armadillo once. That was incredible. That was like
running over a like a I don't know, like a
big box of compressed air.

If you ever do hit an armadello, throw in the
trunk because they're valuable.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Are they really valuable?

Speaker 1 (02:23):

the road, capitoland did I did I teach her the
right thing? I certainly think running over a squirrel get
on with the truck.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, I mean I think you got the right thing?

We're all on the same page. I hope.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Bigger animal. What about a dog? I mean dogs like
practically the family. I'm gonna try harder for their dogs.

Okay, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I'm celebrating when I think was a good tip and
nobody got hurt. Nobody, all right? Success nobody got upset.
So if you're keeping score at home, yes, this is
her eighth day with the hermit, and we've probably driven
a handful of times. We have not fought. See no yelling,
no yelling at all, no yelling.

Is it the fastest you've gone? Though?

Real quick?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Fifty five? I didn't let her go fifty five?

You know what I said. I said this road it
says fifty five, but I'm not coming with that. See
