Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we really have had some all timers this year
when it comes to losses, the way you lose, the
amount of points you lose by, all that kind of stuff. Now,
we haven't really been blown out really in any of
our leagues, but the way Thor lost this week may
be the worst one yet.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
It's time to review your fantasy teams here now, commissioners,
it's time for fantasy freakin' football.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Yeah, we kind of We're both in three leagues, and
we're all over the place really in these three leagues,
and we're oddly kind of mirroring each other the way
it's going. In one league, I am in uh second
place now because I lost last week. Uh so that
hurt a little bit, But I'm in second place doing great.

(00:56):
My OG league, I'm middle of the pack guy. And
then in our work league disaster, Yeah, I have one
win in dead last and so it's just been a nightmare.
All a lot of injuries on that team. I can't
recover from it. It has just been brutal. And you're
in a very similar spot.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah. So in the league that I won the championship
in last year, I'm now I was oh and five,
So I needed to win this week this past week,
and then in my my my our work league, I'm
two and four and in and then my other third league,
which was like a low level league. Now I take
more seriously. I'm four and two, see, so that's why

(01:35):
I take it more seriously. In my oher and five league,
I needed to win and I'm down three points going
into Monday night with a kicker left, so all I
need and it's five and three points. It was two
point eighty six, so I get win field goal, I win,
three extra points. I win, so I have Matt Prater,

(01:56):
the Bills kicker. Oh no, he goes two extra points.
So I'm down point four six because I also had
Drake London going no, I had somebody else going to no, no, no,
the guy had somebody going. So I'm only down point
four to six. So that's it. And it's the final drive.
Josh Allen has the ball. He's only gotten me two points.
I'm down point four six, so that's all I need

(02:20):
is an extra point or a field goal. They get
first down they're down ten, so I'm thinking, well maybe
they'll kick the field goal. Quick kick. Josh Allen rolls out,
throws a pick oh oh, and I go to Owen six.
And now you're wondering why I went to Owen six
because earlier in the day Pooka Nkula got hurt. So

(02:41):
my first pick, Milik Neighbors, done for the year. My
second pick was Pooka Nikula, who knows how he's got hurt,
barely came back. Now that's saying he's not gonna play.
Third pick Rock Bowers, he's not gonna play again this week,
and he has a buye. My fourth pick was Joe Burrow.
He's done for the year. My fifth pick is a Pacheco.
He was terrible. And then my sixth pick was Jalen

(03:02):
Warren and he's missed a game already, dude. So I
and oh, my seventh pick Naja Harris, he's done for
the year. Yeah, so I think. So I've lost three
out of my first seven, no six, sorry, four out
of my first seven picks. I mean that's awful, man,
Like I he was like, no excuses, I mean, what
am I supposed to do? Like, there's nothing, Like, everyone
got hurt. I don't know what to do anymore.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, there's not much you can't do at that point.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
No one's bench. Is that good? Yeah, like, its just
it sucks.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Well, and that's multiple times now you've lost by less
than a point.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I lost in week two, I lost by point zero
four to you.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Sorry, sorry, yeah, you know I'm not at all. No,
I'm not at all, but yeah, it's been brutal for you.
And like I feel bad for my team, you know,
because I've lost Ceedee Lamb for a bunch of time.
I've lost Tyreek Hill for the year. But nothing. I
can't complain because then I'm looking at you and I go,
my god, it sucks.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
You have the worst luck ever at this to this
point this week, Like I'm my lineup is atrocious. I'm
not even trying it. There's nothing I could do because
who you're left? So everyone's hurt. So like right now
in my lineup, I have I have ja I have
Dart going because I have to. I have Stefan Diggs going,
Jalen Warren, I picked up Vital from the Chargers, so

(04:16):
maybe I have Michael Meyer going the tight end because
Bowers out again, Romeo Dobbs, and then probably Rashid Shaheed
or Juwan Jennings who's also always hurt. Rashid Juwan Jennings like,
it's just like it's.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
It's a unit.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
It sucks. Yeah, it's real. I'm gonna be owing six.
I'm gonna be owned seven because I'm not gonna win
this week. So luckily I have the two other leagues
where I'm four and two and two and four, and
the two and four league I would have won if
I would have started the right quarterback one of those
things where you start the wrong guy in the bench.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Good.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
That sucks.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, I get it, man, It's it's tough, you know,
there's it seems and there's injuries every year, don't get
me wrong, but for some reason, it seems like there's
extraordinary about it. And two big guys, a big guys,
you know. So that hurts, Yeah, more so on my team. Yeah, yeah,
I'm sorry. If you have somebody here, You're not sorry. No,
not for you, for people who have those guys, because

(05:07):
that's more like, yeah, that's I'm hoping that Cede Lamb
does get back this week.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Is there.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I'm in the one league that we're in together. I
have CD Lamb and it hasn't hurt me at all
because I drafted incredibly Well.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Oh nice, thank you, The one thing that people keep
saying that I don't agree with is, oh, if you
have George Pickens trade him now, I wouldn't. I think
it's gonna get easier for him because now they're not
gonna be able to roll coverage towards Joe George Pickens.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Just wait, tour starts, it sits, so we'll see. But yeah,
I mean hopefully you know, these guys come back and
you know, aren't you know, dying left and right? You
know whatever, So been tough. I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
So.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
I got a lot of questions from you guys this week.
Questions You can hit us up on X at the show,
Eddie at the show, thor or you can email us
your questions every week. We'll try to answer them. I
always in the flex quisette question need help with the
flex spot? Did I start Jalen Warren or Chase Brown?
The only issue with Brown is I also have T

(06:05):
Higgins as a wide receiver.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
I wouldn't start anybody in that game. I just read
that there might be fifty to sixty mile an hour wins.
Oh really yeah, because there's a big icy hot bowl,
the Icy Hot Nice. I would start Jalen Warren I
know it's a Thursday night game, which sucks, but the
Bengals defense stinks. What has Chase Brown done? Chase Brown's
done nothing, done anything. So I would start Jayleen Warren,
especially if it's PPR who get some catches. Ken game

(06:29):
will have that big game, but he's clearly the number
two guy.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Warren's the guy. Yeah, yeah, I definitely agree with you.
I mean it's kind of crazy, you kind of why
would Chase Brown be affected by Joe Burrow being out?
They should still be running the football and they don't. Yeah,
it's not It's been terrible for those those Bengals players.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Man.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
All right, another question, and it's another Chase Brown question.
Chase Brown versus Pittsburgh or cade Aughton versus Detroit. I'm
assuming this is a flex position because he doesn't specify,
but yeah, I would assume.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
So.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
I mean, the Bucks have no receivers, so I.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Mean, I get that's the thinking too, Kate.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Because otherwise why would I start Kate Oughten. But again,
but even though I just said don't start Chase Brown
over Jayalen Warreck.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
In that case, in this case, is I agree because
Chase Brown is going to get some touches, So.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
You may sneak in a one yard touchdown.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
You may hope that because I don't foresee Kate Oughten
going on. So yeah, I would go with Chase Brown
on that one.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
In the situation where does all those receivers hurt? I
can't just assume Kate Oughten is going to get the ball.
There's wide receiver and the Lions are a decent defense
as other wide receivers. I don't know what they're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Right. Uh, this question says with James Cook on by
this week, what do you guys think is the best option?
Kenneth Gainwell or Isaiah Pacheco, a couple of your favorites.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Neither watching the What was it when the Sunday night
game right and they were talking about how Andy Reid
and all them said this is now the time for
Pacheco to get going, And he did didn't get going.
He's done. They keep being hunt Kareem hunts the guy
Isaiah Pacheco. I don't know what happened. He was a
seventh round pick. He had he had a couple of

(08:09):
good years and there's a reason why he was a
seventh round pick. I mean, in the game he was
gonna get going. He had twelve catch rushes for fifty
one yards. I mean, I just I don't know. And
then Kenneth Gain was the backup, so that just I
honestly would pick up Kareem Hunt because he's gonna because
if you score touchdowns, if if they're inside the five,
it's gonna be Kareem Hunt, not Pacheco.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Yeah, in this case, I think you have to go
with Pachecko because at least you're gonna get more touches
than you are with Gainwell, game Wall has been sneaky
on the goal line here and there, But I think
I think I would roll the dice with Pacheco before
I will.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
We're screwed. Yeah, either way, it's trouble. I mean, it's trouble.
That's like me, I'm choosing between Tony Pollard, Taj Spears
or Woody Marks. I mean, oh my god, I just
gotta get lucky. Oh my god, it's brutal.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah. Uh, this one. First of all, a shoutout to you,
Thor says huge shout out to Thor for that DeAndre
Swift insider tip. But at the beginning of the season,
he's been solid. RB two for me all season long. Yeah,
but his question is Jordan Addison or Stefan Diggs, Who

(09:17):
do you like to start?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I would lean towards Stefan Diggs just because I don't
know who's going to be quarterback for the Vikings. It
could be Wentz against the Eagles, it could be JJJ McCarthy.
I don't know who's better. Also, the Eagles could be
looking at a little redemption game there. Their seasons kind
of falling apart a little bit. And I know Diggs

(09:40):
didn't have the biggest week. He was due a letdown game.
But they're playing the Titans.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
I feel like Diggs only shows up when he plays Buffalo.
Yeah the heck, I know, man, it's weird, But yeah,
Diggs is a one on the team and Addison's a two.
And then I don't really trust their quarterback situation either. Now, Addison,
you know, he did have a good second half, but
you know he was benched and then you know, was

(10:04):
non existent for a little while. So it's again, these
are like coin flips. I would probably go with Diggs.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I could see the Titans not winning the game, but
making it closer. Anytime you change a quarterback, change a coach,
it's always gives the team a little bit of life.
For one, you get get the Titans making you a
little close. But I'm talking more about their offense than
their defense.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Right, all right, let's get to our starts and sits
for the week. At quarterback, who's your start?

Speaker 3 (10:30):
My start this week is Jared Goff. Tampa's got a
million injuries. It's at home in I think if if
that Chiefs Lions game this past Sunday was in Detroit,
the Lions run them out of the stadium, but it
was on grass. It was outside this game in Detroit

(10:51):
on turf, I think the Lions.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Are you know who's favored in that game? I wonder
because I guess obviously Tampa has the better record, But
I don't know who's favored in that game. But either way,
I'm looking it up right, Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
It doesn't really, Yeah, it doesn't. Oh, Lions plus five
and a half?

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Really?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
That Yeah? So the Lions are given five and a half.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Okay, interesting, Yeah, that's gonna be an interesting game. My
start is I'm calling I'm calling upset special here. This
is gonna be a huge upset If this does happen.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
I'm dark.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
No, I'm gonna take the Texans over Seattle.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Really. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Seattle is a team that I don't really understand, you know,
I don't really get what they are. They They are
a very confusing team to me. They're FOURGN two. Houston
is the opposite. They They've been not good this year,
but their defense is legit. And I do think for
some reason, I have a feeling about c J. Stroud
this week, and so I'm rolling the dice. I'm taking

(11:51):
c J. Stroud this week to have a good game
against Seattle.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
For some reason, I have Jordan Love starting. Should I
put in c J. Stroud? Uh No, don't do that.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
But I do think if you have a situation with
like Josh Allen on a bye, which is exactly where
I am, you know, maybe.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
It's funny like you see teams like with Sam Donald,
Gino Smith and Daniel Jones and you're like, I just
can't get behind them. Look at you.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
You feel like the real guy is gonna show up
and Smith.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
And it's going to with Sam Donald, and it's going
to with Daniel Jones. I just don't know who's your set.
My sit this week is Daniel Jones. Oh, come on,
let me know. They beat a good team. They've beaten
the war They've beaten the Cardinals, they've beaten the Dolphins,
they've beaten the Titans. Like they haven't beaten anybody good.

(12:42):
I know they beat the Broncos, but that was in
Week two, okay, and that was because of a penalty.
This is this is on the road in l A.
Daniel Jones gonna throw two picks.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
At least at least two Okay, you're not gonna like
my sorry, damn it, you gotta sit this week. I
get it, you know. I mean, he's he's had a
good few games. And I like Jackson Dart, I really do.
But against Denver, I'm worried about that defense. Well, and
you're starting to get tape on the kid, and you know,
they're running all these quarterback option draws and things like that,

(13:17):
and I'm just looking at it like they're gonna get
this guy killed. Man, And you're taking on a really fast,
good Denver defense. Not only that, you know, Patrick's scertain,
He's incredible. I mean, he shuts down whoever he's on.
And so I just I don't know what the heck
the Giants are going to do to move the ball,
and so I'm worried about Jacksonville.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Arius Slayton's still not practicing. Bum bum, Oh boy, running back?
Who's your start? JK Dobbins Giants. I know that they
stopped Saquan, but they can't stop the run. And until
I see it, I'm going to keep getting running backs again.
I listen. I'm high on the Giants future, but unless

(13:55):
they pull out an upset, I'm.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Making my start be scatter.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
I love my start.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
This week is a guy on the other side of
New York. I'm gonna go with Breese Hall. Let me
explain why. First of all, Aaron Glenn's job is going
to be on the line here pretty soon, so the
Jets gotta figure something out. They have a guy in
Brinese Hall who's really good and really hasn't done much
all season. He started to get going a little bit
as of late, taking on a Carolina team that I'm

(14:25):
not fully sold on Carolina obviously. I know that a
big upset last week, but I think they got to
figure out what they're gonna do with Brees Hall. If not,
Brice Hall is on the trading block, and so I
gotta imagine Brenese Hall. At some point he's gonna just
start putting together great tape because he probably wants to go.
So you know, imagine like the Chargers or somebody getting
Breese Hall. That would be great. So I like Brenese

(14:46):
Hall this week.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Who's your sid the Cardinals backfields? I got Bam Knight bad.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
This is where we're at.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Stop. Yes, they're terrible. I completely agree.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
I said Bam Knight specifically because I know he was
kind of like a hot pickup. But you're right, Michael Carter,
if you're starting to go with backfield by committee, it's over,
it's over.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
It's over. Guys that weren't even the roster two weeks
ago against against Packers to be overrated. But they still
have a decent run defense. So I'm just not starting.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Yeah, I totally agree with you.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Wide receiver, who's your start without Puka Devanta Adams is
gonna be the number one guy? I know they're in London.
I hate those six thirty games. Somebody's just bad car
It's just bad juju. Those six thirty games are fantasy
and we haven't seen big scoring, no, not at all,
so I think. But I think Devanta Adams will have
a big game this week.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
I'm gonna go with a guy who's come out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Hopefully you've picked.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Him up on the waiver wire if he's still available.
That's insane. Kendrick Bourne for the forty nine ers. This
guy is putting together an incredible season his career. Well, honestly,
they don't have anybody else. I mean, you don't have Ayuk,
you don't Debo's gone, Persall's hurt, you know. Juwan Jennings
has been hurt, so literally the scrap heap guys, and
Kendrick Bourne has been awesome. Yeah, I mean he's been great.

(15:56):
He's one hundred yards games every week and he's multiple catches.
So just out of the necessity, he's being used in
San Francisco, So him against Atlanta this week. I do like,
who's your sit?

Speaker 3 (16:07):
My sit this week is the other receiver on the Niners.
Juwan Jennings. He's just he's got.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
He's been banged.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
According to Juwan Jennings, he has five broken ribs, a
high and low ankle spray. Don't forget his shoulders and
his shoulder.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Listen, he's the most injured player I've ever heard of
my life.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I mean, that's he's even walking. How do you could
you breathe? With the five broken ribs? He's getting into
it with shot a hand on the sideline. I don't
even know if he's gonna play. I've never I just
I wouldn't touch him.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
A guy be more of a malcontent who's not a superstar.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
No he's not.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
And I'm like, what this guy asked for more money.
They gave it to him, you know, and then he
still complains. I'm like, what is this guy? And you're
not even.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Healthy and he's not great. He's always heard.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
I don't understand. I don't get my sit this week
is a guy who also has been a malecontent before.
Uh sorry, thor If ceed Lamb's back kind of pushes
Georgie Dickens.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
To the side. Dah's making him happy.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
But you've seen when Ceedee Lamb's in there, George Pickens
doesn't have good games, and so it does depend on
Lamb's health. If flam plays, I think they're gonna involve
him way more than Pickings. So I don't like Pickings
this week against Washington tight end, who's your start?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I wouldn't start anyone on the Jets, but Mason Taylor
is their only receiver and he's decent. I know who
that is. He's there a tight end. He had eighteen
targets in two games and then and then they had
that disastrous game in London. I'm not counting them out.
Panthers defense is not great.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
That's a I'm starting to out there out there pick
my start this week is a guy that is finally
coming back. He's finally starting to make some ways. I
was worried about him. In fact, I've seen him being
dropped in a lot of leagues. But if you've watched
the last two games by the Broncos, Evan Ingram has
starting to come back and he's starting to have better games. Now.

(17:52):
This is also a revenge game for Evan Ingram and
so he sucked with listen. Uh So, I imagine Evan's
gonna be pumped up for this game. I think he
has a good game against the Giants. I like Evan
Ingram this week. Who's your ship?

Speaker 3 (18:06):
My sick was a guy who earlier in the year,
a couple weeks like Week two, Week three, everyone was
picking up Juwan Jennings or Jawan Johnson. Uh, he's on
the Saints throughout the Bear had all Jawan's Yeah, he
Juwan Johnson was a good game and then he's just
fall off a cliff. Get him off your team. He's
not even a part of these.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Worthless worthless Yeah, my sit this week. I know there's
rumblings about him coming back this week. Even if he does,
I'm not trusting George Kittle just yet. I don't care. Like,
if he comes back, he I don't know. I just
don't know he's gonna just break out and have this
huge game and all this stuff. Don't expect that yet.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
I kind of have to start him. Oh god, I
don't want to start Tong just again.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Oh hey, that guy's legit. So yeah, I'm not I'm
not sold on Kittle just yet. So so just give
it a week if you can. All right, there you go.
Hopefully you go out there and get a win.
