Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, basically I have started calling for the Grim Reaper
because anybody that he touches is going down. This is
not good. So yeah, don't let everybody know who's on
your team because everybody's gonna be freaked out. We have
another injury, and I gotta tell you about another devastating
loss for me as well.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It's time to review your fantasy team commissioners.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
It's time for fantasy freaking football, all right. Before we
get into the Reaper and you're losing another guy, I
gotta tell you, man, there are terrible ways to lose
in fantasy. You know, there might be like you lose
by point zero four points, so I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I'm just throwing that with me to you.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
I was just drawing a number out there. I wasn't
really thinking zero four.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Literally, he needed like a yard and I would have
got No, it's great.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
It's crazy to think about. Yeah, and I lost by
two points recently too.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, it's all sucks. So there's all kinds of terrible
ways to lose. Or you know, you have a injury
mid game and you would have won if that guy
would have played. All those kind of things can happen,
and it's brutal. But one of the worst ways to
lose is when you have a massive week. You scored
these you know, the second most points in the league,
but you're playing against the guy who scores the most

(01:26):
points in the league. There is nothing worse because you.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Look at the matchups and you would beat him with.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Everybody, literally everybody. So that happened to me in my
OG leagues. I had the bit I'm sitting there looking,
I'm like, this guy's scoring, this guy's going off. I
can't like, this is gonna be the greatest week ever.
And then I look at the matchup and I went, oh, man,
like what is how Like what bad timing? What bad
luck you have? That that's who I'm playing this week.
So I literally I lost by one point, So I

(01:54):
get that sting. And then on top of that, I
had these second a huge my biggest week yet and
that league, and I lost by one point and to
the guy who had the most points in the league.
That sucks, And I'm like, come on, man, yeah, that's
that's when you know the fantasy gods are not with you, man.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, like this year with me for the same way,
like I'm in three leagues. Thank god, because in two
of the leagues, our work league I'm doing I'm two
and three.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
I'm I'm snake bit in our work league. That's how
I am crazy.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
It's just so weird, man.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
And then in my and then in this other league
that I'm in, there was a fun league that we
raised the.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
The initiation fee of that.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
It's it's I mean, I'm three and one or three
and two now. So in those two leagues I'm doing well.
But in the league that care about the most, I
just I can't.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
You are ohero and five and.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Five dude, It's like what sucks is like you look
at my team. So like I lost Joe Burrow and
I lost my league Neighbors, right, but I have Puka
still going off. I drafted Stefan Diggs, who's finally balling out.
Like if Neighbors and Burrow didn't get hurt, I'd still
be killing me.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well, the fact that you didn't win last week with
the game that Diggs had, Yeah, and that's brutal.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
And I had Pukah Rashid Shaheed who had twenty points
and Diggs, they all got over twenty and I still
lost because I just have no one my quarterbacks stunk.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
It was dark because I had no one else to start.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
That you were never gonna drop go with giants to start.
I mean, there's other players in the league I know.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
And then my running My running backs are just terrible,
like De Mercado, Taj Spears, oh god, Jaden warm was
on a by checko sucks. And then I and then
I have Brock Bowers who got hurt in week one.
They should have sat him for a week or two
if they didn't, so they've made this injury worse and
they finally sait him. So I'm like, well, there's no
one goal to pick up. Let me go with zach Ertz.

(03:39):
There you go, and he gets zero freaking points. I'm
telling you, you're the reaper. So crash.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I started de Mercado and he dropped the ball in
one yard line.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
That's brutal. I'm telling you you. You have some sort
of whammy on these players, dude.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So Bowers, I think he took in like the third
round or something.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I went, I went, I went neighbor Pooka in the second,
which is a crazy looking back, what a pick? Great
because this fall. And then I took Bowers I thought
that was a great pick.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Well, he was overwhelmingly the number one tight end, and
you know, obviously in most leagues.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
He hit seventeen points in week one and I'm gonna
play three quarters.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
He's great, but he's been banged up all year, so
he's killing everybody. And so he's the latest guy that
he didn't play all last week. I don't think he's
gonna play this week either, So yeah, you're you're a mess.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
They should have benched him for two weeks and that
was really stupid that they didn't, and he's he can't
play with his knee brace on. I'm just a disaster.
I'm just hoping to win a couple of games. So
I'm just hoping to win a couple of games. Thank
God to have the other two weaks.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Well, thank got In that league, I'm killing it. Yeah,
you're I'm in first place by a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I'm gonna go from first to worse first.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Honestly, that may happen, which would be crazy. Uh so yeah,
I'm my team is loaded in that league and I
don't have ceedee lamb.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, but my team is still loaded.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
So I'm like, I don't know what happened. But man,
everything is hitting on all cylinders in that league, but
the rest of the stuff garbage. So it is what
it is. This is the way it goes. And so
as we are continuing, as we get through bye weeks.
Now now we're in full bye week modes, and so
you got to be prepared for all that kind of stuff.
You got to get ready to pick up different guys.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
For those dumbass early morning game.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
But you're the only one that's not paying attention to that.
I mean, never seen anything like it.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Adam Schefter said he was starting in like five minutes
for kickoff bench.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Never seen anything like it. So if you got questions,
hit us up. You can email us, or you can
hit us up on x at the show thor at
the show Eddie, and we'll try to get to your
questions every week. Question this week, this is kind of
interesting because we are now back with your favorite tight
end of all time, Darren Waller. He's back. He's back,

(05:47):
and he's great.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Everybody that leaves the Giants becomes a good player.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Well that two end your team. You did say Darren
Waller was tight end one last year which was insane
or the year before A yeah, but he's back and
he's playing in well, which which is kind of surprising.
So the question is Tucker Craft or Darren Waller for
the rest of the season. He's asking full PPR.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
I mean a Tucker Craft. I don't trust Darren Waller.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Man.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I know he's playing really well right now, but he's
an injury waiting to happen. That offense is you don't
know what's gonna happen. They can fire Mike McDaniel.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
This sounds personal.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Well, I'm just saying that.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
If you're in and off the Packers offense is so
much better and more consistent, they're gonna be a winner.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
You're you can't say for the rest of the season,
you're gonna be weak to week. Yeah, you know. So
if Waller balls out and he continues to ball out,
now you have a real question on your hands. But
it's it's matchups now. You gotta play matchups, and you
gotta it's gonna be coin flips. This happens all the time.
You can't just go I'm all in on Tucker Craft
and then you see Darren Waller outscorem every week or

(06:49):
vice versa. So you know, pump the Brakes on that.
Just just just wait and see what you got out
of Darren Waller right now, even though Craft is kind
of banged up, I think you know he's your safer play.
He's your savor option.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well end up playing the Bengals this week?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Which are you know?

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Their their disaster?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, says need help with my flex position. My choices
are Breis Hall, Ricky Pursall, Chris Godwin or DeAndre Swift.
Who do you like?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Man, I'm gonna go with the running back in that spot. Uh,
Breeshaw's playing the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
There's now grumblings that the Chargers may try to trade
for Breese Hall.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Oh really yeah? Which would see that massive?

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I would, I would. I wouldn't get rid of any
of those guys. I don't know if Persol is gonna play.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah, he's too much of an injury risk.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
And I'm not really gonna touch Godwin right now.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Andre Swist your answer, I'd probably goes Andrew Swift your answer,
because he may not get you. You're gonna get but
like thirteen or fourteen, fifteen points?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Do you know what? I have him in one of
my leagues and he's doing great and he's been banged up,
and so every week he's question all and you're like, oh, no,
is he gonna play? And then he plays and he
does pretty good. He scores a touchdown for me whatever I.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Had inside a tip on DeAndre Swift. Remember how they
didn't you draft him. I did draft to him in
one league.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Okay, that's right. And then he uh, he's coming off
a bye to so he should be fully hell healthy.
So that's that would be my selection as your flex
spot there PPR league. Who do you like? David Montgomery
or the rejuvenated Recal, the Waldele, the Walde Dalde, the Walde.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Listen. Rico Dalwaddle had like.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
One of the craziest two hundred yards.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
I just don't see it happening again.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Also, I think the Cowboys offense and Dak is the
MVP of the league right now, one of the MVP
of the league. He's hitting on all cylinders. I'm going
to stew a David Montgomery. I'm gonna trust the Lions
over the Panthers.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
That's what I'm looking.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
At right Yeah, I think so too. And you got
to show me a little bit.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
More if you started Rico Dawoddle last week.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
That's huge.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Hats off. But if you if you have to start
this week, I get it, But I start Montgomery.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yeah, I agree. All right, let's get to our starts
and sit for the week. At quarterback, who is your
start this week?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
This guy I picked up on waiver on in a
couple of leagues because I could believe he was out there.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Matt Stafford.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
He's older, but he's one of the better quarterbacks in
the league still, and he's playing in Baltimore. But that
Ravens defense is thrash with injuries.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Look what CJ. Stroud the Texas just did to them.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, it is kind of historically bad.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
If they lose again and go to one in five
or one in six. Is John Harball in trouble.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Hot see hot seett I don't know. I think he's
got a lot of equity there, but.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
They can't want to superre over a decade.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
He's got a ring. You know, he's doing all right.
I don't know, we'll see My start this week is
a guy who came back last week, looked like he
has missed a step. I think he's going to be
just fine this week. Jayde Daniels is back. He has
that Commander's offense looking good. He was throwing touchdowns, He's
moving the ball well, taking on a Bears defense. It's
not that good. So I like Jaydon Daniels this week.

(09:55):
Who's your shit?

Speaker 3 (09:56):
This guy?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
I think this team will win, but I don't think
you're gonna get that much from him anymore.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I think he hasn't put up over twenty points since
the week one. He usually gives you about twelve to
fifteen points, which isn't great. Brow He's slow, we can't move,
he might get sacked a lot. I still think the
Steelers win the game, but I'm taking Aaron Rodgers as I.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Sit my sit this week is a guy that is
just coming off a huge performance on Monday Night Football,
Pump the Brakes.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Trevor Lawrence, Oh no, sorry, I think I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
We're gonna have a we have a little bit of
a letdown here. You're coming off this huge win against
the Chiefs. You think, oh, we're the new contenders, We're
the new kids on the block. Yeah. You see Lawrence
make a lot of mistakes. Even though they won.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
He still makes a lot of hand in for an
arm can make every throw, but then just makes the
dumbest mistakes.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yeah, like that haircut.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
So yeah, Trevor Lawrence. You're taking on a Seattle team
who's playing really well. I like Seattle in that game,
So I think Trevor. Trevor comes back down to earth
a little bit. Running back, Who's your start?

Speaker 2 (10:56):
This is a guy I gave up on after the
last season, and then the Cowboys signed him and I
was like, rolling my eyes, Cowboys can't run the ball.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
I don't care who's running back.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
He had a good week one, good week two, and
now he's just bawling out and they're playing the Panthers.
I'm going with Yavonte Williams. Yeah, I know that was
a sneaky pick.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah. Now, Davante has been great. He's he is a
touchdown machine. This year he finds, you know, any kind
of goes line.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
He looks like the old Javonte Williams who he was
supposed to be with the BRONXO. So maybe he just
needed to change the scenery. Change the scenery. And a
year from that injury.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Another guy my start this week is a guy that
I've had before and I wasn't going to touch him
this year, especially with a new rookie running back. I
was like, this guy, he's gonna be out. There's no
way Ramandre Stevenson is going to do anything this year.
And then next thing you know, he's like one of
the top fantasy.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Backs you know around and he keeps fumbling and they
keep giving him. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
So his points would be even better if he stopped fumbling.
But I mean, he's still scoring touchdown. They're still feeding
them off.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
They don't give the ball or trade on Henderson at all.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
It's it's Steevenson.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
So I think Roman is going to continue to do
well and taking on New Orleans this week, I think
they do good. Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (12:11):
My sit this week? I think this is we're seeing
the end of this guy's career.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
He's slow.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
I just watched him this past Sunday when the Giants
played them. The Giants can't stop the run. Saquon Barkles
have a million yards tomorrow. But Alvin Kamara is a
guy I'm sitting.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, I I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
I think it's just times up. Yeah, I think times up.
Maybe he gets traded helps the team win at the
end of the season. This year, but I think times.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Another Charger maybe, yeah, possible.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
My sit this week is a guy that there were,
you know, all the pundits we're talking about before the season.
This is the guy. He's gonna have a huge year.
Uh you know, he's the rookie to watch. No, not
buying it. I told you guys always did like be
careful drafting rookies.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
R J.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Harvey in Denver is non existent.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
And JK Dobbins has taken backfields.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
You know. Now that being said, JK is hit away
from being out. He always is, and so that's when
you may see RJ. But as of right now and
you're taking on the Jets, who's got it still pretty
good defense? I mean, I know they're not playing really well,
but I just don't foresee RJ. Harvey having a big
week this week.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Well and also too, I would still keep RJ.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Harvey on the bench because like any possibility, at any moment, JK.
Dobbins could hurt himself. Yeah like you.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Know, yeah, no, I agree, wide receiver, Who's you start
this week?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
So this is a guy who surprised everyone the way
this season started. Then the offense lost a couple office
a Linemen. They lost a couple of running backs, but
they're playing the Dolphins, and I think Quinton Johnson will
put some numbers up that he put up earlier this year.
I'm talking like five catches, one hundred yards and touchdown.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
He's due Chargers rebound game.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
I think this is a Chargers rebound game. I'm they've
lost two in a row. I'm not counting out Jim
Harball and the Chargers.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
No, I can see that. My start this week, I'm
sort of along the same lines as your quarterback. I
think the Rams are gonna ball out against Baltimore. Baltimore
is just in shambles, so you kind of got to pick.
All right, Well, who's gonna be the big target? I say,
probably DeVante Adams this week. I like him. Obviously Puka
is gonna catch balls, but I think Davante maybe the beneficiary,

(14:14):
maybe in the red zone. So I like Davante Adams
this week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 3 (14:18):
My sit?

Speaker 2 (14:19):
I don't know why they resigned this guy a year
and a half ago, because he is they should trade him.
I'm talking about DJ Moore with the Bears non existent.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
He's got Roma Dunes is the guy.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Now, I got.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Sixteen cashes on the year, one touchdown. He hasn't gotten
more than seventy yards in a game. I would not
start Dj Moore. The name still carries weight, though, so
I would try to trade him.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Yeah, good and maybe again in a new offense or
something he comes back. But yeah, he hasn't done much
in Chicago at all. So I'm sticking in the same
game I was just talking about. But I'm going on
the other side. When you got Cooper Rush as your quarterback,
probably not going to be a great day for you.
So I don't love Zay Flowers this week. Zay's got
a lot of talent, and you saw what he could

(15:01):
do with Lamar, But I mean last week, what'd that
offense do? Nothing? And so yeah, until I get Lamar back,
I'm kind of staying away for most of the Ravens.
It just isn't gonna look good. All right, tight end,
who's your start.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Going with Hunter Henry at again? I watched the Saints
play Theo Johnson had two touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
They don't do a good job against tight ends. The
Patriots are a team that could sneaky make the playoffs.
We look at them on a huge win legit defense.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
It's all about coaching. They got a great boy coaching,
They got a good young quarterback. They and they have
a good running game Hunter Henry.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
This week, I'm gonna go with my start at tight
and with a guy that I never draft because I
don't ever trust him. He'll have a great week and
then have nothing. Have a great week, and then.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
I'll have nothing. No damn.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Although he's kind of coming back. Yeah, he's kind kind
of similar what I'm who I'm talking about. You'll probably
agree with David and Joku. Oh yeah, you never know
what you're gonna get out of it, David and Joku.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
You know what's funny. Guess who threw the ball to him?
Was it last year or two years ago? I think
it was last year and when he was a quarterback,
Joe Flacco and his best in Djoku's best games last year?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Will with Joe Flacco. Well Joe on the Bengals, Yeah,
wrong team.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, he's gonna are you idiots, but along your lines,
Dylan Gabriel is looking for tight ends. Yeah, you're right,
and so he is going to be the guy. He's
gonna benefit. I was like, where's he going with this?
He knows Joe Flacco just got traded.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Got traded. I was like, I don't know what happened there.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
So I do like David and Joku. Now that Dylan
Gabriel's in at quarterback, and I think he's gonna have
a good week. Who's your sit?

Speaker 2 (16:42):
I know everyone was hyped up because this guy scored
two touchdowns against the Saints.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
This team stinks.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
God, you got it. This team stink. You based kind
of everything off. Who plays the Giants or a giant?

Speaker 3 (16:53):
This team stinks.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Come on, I don't think they'll score ten points against
the Eagles. I think the Eagles win forty to ten.
Do not start THEO Johnson. Do not start THEO Johnson
this week. I know he's coming out a big banger.
Do not start THEO Johnson this week.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
I'm gonna stick around in that game you were just
talking about. People were getting hyped again on Juwan Johnson
from the Saints, and you know he had put together
a couple of decent games he would get into not bad.
But we're coming back down to earth, yeah, massively, So
don't I don't know that Juwan Johnson is gonna have
a big week against the Patriots. I like the Patriots
this week, so he's my sid. So there you go again. Ford.

(17:30):
Don't pick up anybody, do touch anybody. We don't need
the Reaper getting around any more players, and hopefully you
go out and get a win.
