Time to review your fantasy team.

Commissioners, It's time for Fantasy freaking football. What a week
to return. Thor and I played again each other this week,
this past weekend and our friends league. And this is
the league where I finished in dead last last year,

and I have gone from worst to first. Four has
gone from first to worst. It's crazy.

I started out and the first time we played each
other was Week one and I lost by point zero
point zero four, less than point one.

One of the greatest wins of my life.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
And it doomed my whole season.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
It really did, because after that, Joe Burrow got hurt,
Black Bauers got hurt, the lak neighbors got hurt, blaming Naja.
Harris got hurt me Hookah got hurt by first eight
of my first nine picks got hurt and didn't play
for like four weeks in a row, and I couldn't win.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
You were screwed.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I got screwed, and no, even my backups were hurt.
It was crazy. Now some guys are back, but.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, your team's better now.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, because some guys got back.

You finally got some wins. But again I had to
put the beat down on you again this week. I
don't know, I wasn't point zero zero four this time,
but I beat you by like ten or whatever, and
so swept the season.

So now and that if I win this week and
a guy loses and I score like fifty more points
than him, I don't come in last.

And Week fourteen sucks because there's like six teams with buys,
so it's like a lot of my teams, a lot
of my guys are on buys.

Got to be prepared for that. So uh, in that league,
I am in first place and have clinched a playoff spot,
and so yeah, it is. It is great. It's a
great feeling, you know, to be in that spot. So
I feel great about that one. What's going on in
your other two leagues?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
So my other two leagues the one league that I'm
in where it was a fun league, but then they
decided we're upping the anti to more money, Like yeah,
I voted no, they all voted yes. So in that league,
I'm in third, clinched to playoff spot. But here's the deal.
So I clinched last week. But in that league I
have I'm on Ross Saint Brown and Drake London. Oh,

so both those guys are hurt now. Luckily I clinched
because neither guy looks like they're going.

To play this week. So my whole definitely, So he's definitely.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
My whole is next week at least Drake London comes back,
but I don't know because I've read that they're gonna
be cautus with him if they keep losing, which is stupid,
like doesn't the guy I want to play the last
couple of games of the year, so I'm hoping this
will be his third game out, So I'm hoping he
comes back.

Because you want to make some noise in the playoff.

And if I, if I win this week, I have
a shot at a buye. A bye would be incredible.

And then in our work league, I clenched. I'm in fourth,
and we don't do buys, so I just I'm clenched.

and I don't. My defense is not a buye this
week because I'm just not going to do anything because.

Uh yeah, And that lee. In our work league, I
was struggling last. I was in dead last for the
longest time. And then I've I've made a comeback. I've
again had some injuries, but guys are coming back and
things like that, and so in that league, I have
jumped all the way up to sixth, and so I
am in the playoffs. If the season we're to end
right now, but it's not guaranteed, so I still got

Yeah. In our work league, it's the most log jammed
I've ever seen it. No one ran away. Everyone's within
a game of each other. I've never seen anything like that.

It's pretty crazy.

It's a weird year in the NFL a little bit.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Uh. And then my my OG league, I'm in third place,
and so that one, though we play all the way throughout, it.

Is the weird like you redraft every playoff game.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, it is kind of the most bizarre thing of
all time. But it's the league I've been in the longest,
so I'm still in it. And so uh, that league,
I'm still doing pretty well and feeling good. So overall
pretty good. My three leagues i'm doing. I'm basically in
the playoff spot. In all three leagues you are clenched
in two and then in dead last.

So luckily, though in our dead last league we did,
we couldn't agree on a punishment this year, so I'm kind.

Which is crazy. You gott this.

I'm really lucky about.

It sucks, though, because it does suck to go from
first to worst because I talked a lot of crap
in the draft and.

Jacoby Brissette is on a crazy fantasy run right now,
and I know they're playing the Rams, but that game
may be a blowout fast Brissett maybe slinging it. I
would start Wilson. I honestly would, because I think they're
gonna sling it. The guy's been they have no running game. Yeah,
presets average like twenty points a game.

It's insane. So I would go Wilson, especially if it's PPR,
because Michael Wilson has been the recipient of all those catches.
You know, I do think Marmon Harrison Junior is coming
back this week, so that may affect it a little bit. Maybe. Yeah,
Alec Pearce is too hot and cold. Sometimes he really is,
because he'll catch a fifty yard touchdown pass and then

this game and the Texans win, I think they're out
of the playoffs.

flex position between Jordan Mason and Michael Pittman this week. Now,
here's the thing about Jordan Mason is that the the
offense has gone completely downhill. Uh. Obviously, you know there's

a lot of a lot of factors with the Vikings offense.
They have no quarterbacks, they have no quarterback. But ever
since Aaron Jones has come back, I don't know if
you've noticed, their running game has been atrocious. And so
it's like, I don't understand why you benched Jordan Mason
for an aging veteran. I'm not saying Aaron Jones is washed,
but but Jordan Mason is good. Yeah, and he's younger,

and so I think they're gonna start utilizing Jordan Mason Moore.
You got to recognize that. And Aaron Jones is banged
up as well. So I actually think this week is
a great week to start Jordan Mason. Michael Pittman, like
you just said, the last two weeks, he's been non existent,
I think he's had like a couple of catch Yeah,
so it's not great.

Who knows how many touches is you gonna get if
he even plays? So yeah, I go I agree with you,
Eddie Jordan, I like Jordan Mason.

situation Justin Jefferson, George Pickens, and Ladd McConkie. This is
the only league I'm in the playoffs and I had
all see I had Ladd on my bench all season.
I'm concerned though about Justin Jefferson's quarterback situation, and I'm
thinking about switching them out Lad for Justin Jefferson. What

Oh man, it just depends on.

It's such a tough thing to sit your number one pick.

of the year last week. He threw uh two picks
and a fumble, But he's coming back. Matt Stafford is
going to light up Arizona this week. That the they're
gonna make up for it right now. He's kinda is

Drake May after his performance the Giants, Yeah, I think

My start this week is a guy who's definitely not
lived up to his billing. He was probably either the
second or third quarterback taken in your fantasy league. He's
been hurt. The team hasn't been playing well, but this
is the week for Lamar Jackson. I think we're going
to see a big game with Lamar against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's
defense has been a trocy. They cannot stop anybody.

Mike Tom the Giant should hire I don't get take
it easy.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Literally, the Bills were running the same play over and
over and over and they couldn't stop him. So I
gotta imagine that Derek Henry's gonna go off. And if
you finally have been waiting for Lamar to have a
big game rushing, this may be it. So I imagine
Lamar Jackson is gonna find the end zone with his
legs this week against Pittsburgh. I like Lamar this week.

My sit this week is a guy who went off
on Thanksgiving, but he is so inconsistent. I know Danie
Olofsky likes to say he's an elite quarterback. I don't
see it. Jordan Love, he's at home. I get it,
but he's going against the Bears. People don't want to
buy Itno, the Bears. The Bears are for real season.
They're a good team. They just blew out their Their
run game's crazy good. They're a great team. I will

sit Jordan Love this week. He's just too up and down.

We said it, well, you're gonna probably appreciate this one
because my sit this week he is a guy who's
had a very big bounce back fantasy year, but I

Patrick Mahomes. Ah, sorry, man, Patrick Mahomes. That that Chiefs
game they're taking on Houston, Houston's defense is the top

the guys I really respect says that he thought if
he thought the Chiefs could win out like a month ago,
and I'm like, that's insane.

Beat the Cowboys. Sorry, I don't think the Texans. I
don't think the Chiefs can beat the Texans. Don't think

get like a limited role. You weren't sure, but Bucky
Irvin is just so much better than Rashid White and
Sean Tucker.

You just see it when he's on the field. He's
just better.

So they're playing the Saints, you would assume that they
need this w they need this week. He didn't even
look hurt last week, didn't even look hurt, and he
looks just better than the other two guys.

Obviously, my start this week is a guy we were
just talking about, and for all the reasons why I
said Jordan Mason, I actually like Jordan Mason a lot.

to figure out your run game. You gotta lean on
Jordan Mason this week. I like him a lot into

I don't think he's broke twelve points in Fantasy all year.

I'm so disappointed in his rookie year, Ashton Genty, Like man,
I just expected so much more.

the gate last year hot, but he's always does his
one thing, run fast if you're worthy. I'm sitting in
against the Texans. He doesn't do much for their office.

I would start him. And I'm talking about Darren Waller
against the Gym almost was my sit Darren Wallers. Here's
why not a lot of tight ends out there? A

I feel like Juwan Johnson's due for one of those

A guy that came out of the gates on fire
like a month and a half ago, and now he's
been falling off a cliff. And again, if Justin Harrit
doesn't play, I wouldn't play anybody.

Falcons who had a shot at the division earlier in

did not see this coming from Seattle, and their defense
is lights out to a shutout. I think they're going

I am in first place and have clinched a playoff spot,
and so yeah, it is. It is great. It's a
great feeling, you know, to be in that spot. So

your other two leagues?

So my other two leagues the one league that I'm
in where it was a fun league, but then they
decided we're upping the anti to more money, Like yeah,
I voted no, they all voted yes. So in that league,
I'm in third, clinched to playoff spot. But here's the deal.
So I clinched last week. But in that league I
have I'm on Ross Saint Brown and Drake London. Oh,

so both those guys are hurt now. Luckily I clinched
because neither guy looks like they're going.

To play this week. So my whole definitely, So he's definitely.

My whole is next week at least Drake London comes back,
but I don't know because I've read that they're gonna
be cautus with him if they keep losing, which is stupid,
like doesn't the guy I want to play the last
couple of games of the year, so I'm hoping this
will be his third game out, So I'm hoping he
comes back.

again had some injuries, but guys are coming back and
things like that, and so in that league, I have
jumped all the way up to sixth, and so I
am in the playoffs. If the season we're to end
right now, but it's not guaranteed, so I still got

Yeah. In our work league, it's the most log jammed
I've ever seen it. No one ran away. Everyone's within
a game of each other. I've never seen anything like that.

It's pretty crazy.

It's a weird year in the NFL a little bit.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Uh. And then my my OG league, I'm in third place,
and so that one, though we play all the way throughout, it.

Is the weird like you redraft every playoff game.

Yeah, it is kind of the most bizarre thing of
all time. But it's the league I've been in the longest,
so I'm still in it. And so uh, that league,
I'm still doing pretty well and feeling good. So overall
pretty good. My three leagues i'm doing. I'm basically in
the playoff spot. In all three leagues you are clenched
in two and then in dead last.

So luckily, though in our dead last league we did,
we couldn't agree on a punishment this year, so I'm kind.

I'm really lucky about.

first to worst because I talked a lot of crap

Jacoby Brissette is on a crazy fantasy run right now,
and I know they're playing the Rams, but that game
may be a blowout fast Brissett maybe slinging it. I
would start Wilson. I honestly would, because I think they're
gonna sling it. The guy's been they have no running game. Yeah,
presets average like twenty points a game.

It's insane. So I would go Wilson, especially if it's PPR,
because Michael Wilson has been the recipient of all those catches.
You know, I do think Marmon Harrison Junior is coming
back this week, so that may affect it a little bit. Maybe. Yeah,
Alec Pearce is too hot and cold. Sometimes he really is,
because he'll catch a fifty yard touchdown pass and then

They haven't lost force one and three in their last four. Well,

the thing, though, is that Michael Pittman Junior. He's been
absent the last couple of games, and so you got
to imagine at some point they're going to start feeding

To win, yeah, because I mean they if they lose
this game and the Texans win, I think they're out
of the playoffs.

Yeah, well, I mean Jaguars right now are in first place.

next question is who shore do you start in the
flex position between Jordan Mason and Michael Pittman this week. Now,
here's the thing about Jordan Mason is that the the
offense has gone completely downhill. Uh. Obviously, you know there's

a lot of a lot of factors with the Vikings offense.
They have no quarterbacks, they have no quarterback. But ever
since Aaron Jones has come back, I don't know if
you've noticed, their running game has been atrocious. And so
it's like, I don't understand why you benched Jordan Mason
for an aging veteran. I'm not saying Aaron Jones is washed,
but but Jordan Mason is good. Yeah, and he's younger,

and so I think they're gonna start utilizing Jordan Mason Moore.
You got to recognize that. And Aaron Jones is banged
up as well. So I actually think this week is
a great week to start Jordan Mason. Michael Pittman, like
you just said, the last two weeks, he's been non existent,
I think he's had like a couple of catch Yeah,
so it's not great.

When like you were saying, Aaron Jones is banged up.
Who knows how many touches is you gonna get if
he even plays? So yeah, I go I agree with you,
Eddie Jordan, I like Jordan Mason.

situation Justin Jefferson, George Pickens, and Ladd McConkie. This is
the only league I'm in the playoffs and I had
all see I had Ladd on my bench all season.
I'm concerned though about Justin Jefferson's quarterback situation, and I'm
thinking about switching them out Lad for Justin Jefferson. What

many Eagle fans there. I don't trust Trey Lance and

gonna make up for it right now. He's kinda is

Drake May after his performance the Giants, Yeah, I think

My start this week is a guy who's definitely not
lived up to his billing. He was probably either the
second or third quarterback taken in your fantasy league. He's
been hurt. The team hasn't been playing well, but this
is the week for Lamar Jackson. I think we're going
to see a big game with Lamar against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's
defense has been a trocy. They cannot stop anybody.

Mike Tom the Giant should hire I don't get take
it easy.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Literally, the Bills were running the same play over and
over and over and they couldn't stop him. So I
gotta imagine that Derek Henry's gonna go off. And if
you finally have been waiting for Lamar to have a
big game rushing, this may be it. So I imagine
Lamar Jackson is gonna find the end zone with his
legs this week against Pittsburgh. I like Lamar this week.

My sit this week is a guy who went off
on Thanksgiving, but he is so inconsistent. I know Danie
Olofsky likes to say he's an elite quarterback. I don't
see it. Jordan Love, he's at home. I get it,
but he's going against the Bears. People don't want to
buy Itno, the Bears. The Bears are for real season.
They're a good team. They just blew out their Their
run game's crazy good. They're a great team. I will

had a very big bounce back fantasy year, but I

game they're taking on Houston, Houston's defense is the top

I listened to his law sports radio and one of
the guys I really respect says that he thought if
he thought the Chiefs could win out like a month ago,
and I'm like, that's insane.

Beat the Cowboys. Sorry, I don't think the Texans. I
don't think the Chiefs can beat the Texans. Don't think

My start is a guy who I almost didn't start
him in fantasy because I heard that he was gonna
get like a limited role. You weren't sure, but Bucky
Irvin is just so much better than Rashid White and
Sean Tucker.

You just see it when he's on the field. He's
just better.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
So they're playing the Saints, you would assume that they
need this w they need this week. He didn't even
look hurt last week, didn't even look hurt, and he
looks just better than the other two guys.

So I assume Bucky irvans back man again all the counts.

Obviously, my start this week is a guy we were
just talking about, and for all the reasons why I
said Jordan Mason, I actually like Jordan Mason a lot.
This week, again, you're taking on a commander's defense who
can't stop the run. So if the Vikings have any shot.
Obviously they're not throwing the football, and so you got
to figure out your run game. You gotta lean on
Jordan Mason this week. I like him a lot into

You were a year early on this, Kenneth Walker, because
remember last year you were all about, what's his name is,
Zach Sharbondach Sharperney, and he was okay, but I haven't.
But you have him, and this year, Sharperne, he's getting
all the touchdowns. Kenneth Walker hasn't not a touchdown in weeks.
I don't think he's broke twelve points in Fantasy all year.
So I would sit Kenneth Walker. I know they're out Atlanta,
but I'd sit.

I'm I'm mentioning as my sit almost every week because
I'm so disappointed in his rookie year, Ashton Genty, Like man,
I just expected so much more.

They're garbage.

They're all garbage. I mean that entire Raiders offense is garbage.
And you're taking on Denver, who is maybe the second
or maybe the best defense in the league. So I
gotta imagine all you got to do is shut down

is doing. That's what they're doing. Yeah and so yeah,
I don't like Ashton Genty this week against the Broncos

My wide receiver is a guy who came out of
the gate last year hot, but he's always does his
one thing, run fast if you're worthy. I'm sitting in
against the Texans. He doesn't do much for their office.

and down, not been great. Who's the number one there

if there is a week that Shakir has a good game,
it's got to be this.

have be the best tight end in the league. Some
people said that about him, some people said he is
gonna have the most catches in the league for ago.
I've heard I heard people say that. But this week
I would start him. And I'm talking about Darren Waller
against the Gym almost was my sit Darren Wallers. Here's
why not a lot of tight ends out there? A

another touchdown, but two overthrew him in the end zone.

I was watching the game. I was pretty pissed. They're

talking about Jawan Johnson.

You're gonna go Kate Aton because it could be him.

To absolutely, but taking on Kate Aden's team Tampa Bay,
I feel like Juwan Johnson's due for one of those
games where you're like, oh yeah, I remember him and

A guy that came out of the gates on fire
like a month and a half ago, and now he's
been falling off a cliff. And again, if Justin Harrit
doesn't play, I wouldn't play anybody.

I started him by two weeks in a row and
it was amazing. And now he doesn't get the ball

Yeah, I kind of agree with you. My sid is
a guy who's been up and down. He's had a
little bit better of a year than he has in

can't believe it. He's washed, I mean completely done. The
Falcons who had a shot at the division earlier in

the season and now they're one of the worst teams
in football. And you're taking on Seattle, who, Man, I
did not see this coming from Seattle, and their defense
is lights out to a shutout. I think they're going
to shut down the Falcons again.

Still don't trust Sam Darnold in a big game until
he proves it. But when they play teams like the Falcons,
they ball out for sure, you know.
