Speaker 1 (00:02):
Boy, oh boy. Injuries, injuries everywhere. It is nightmare town
for fantasy owners. Certain fantasy owners. Thor has been rocked
with injuries for his teams. I am now dealing with
a massive injury things like that. Plus I had a
loss in fantasy, then a win, and then a loss again,
(00:25):
all with the same team. I'll explain in this week's
edition of Fantasy freaking Football.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
It's time to review your fantasy team.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Here down, commissioners, it's time for fantasy freakin' football. Yeah,
what does that mean? Uh, I don't know. To be
honest with you, if you are in Yahoo, then you
may be dealing with this too. Obviously. It's it's a
pretty unique situation because of the scoring and what happened.
(00:58):
But I don't know what the heck is going on
with Yahoo. So basically what happened in our work league
is that I was playing a guy. Of course, I
have Cede Lamb in on my team, so that got
me a big fat zero, So that kills I was
sitting pretty and all three of my teams. I was
crushing it after the first games, like I was killing
it on all my games, and then Ceedee Lamb gets
(01:20):
hurt and I'm like, oh no, And so that obviously
really affected my teams. It hurt everything, and so that
wasn't good. And so I'm sitting there and it comes
down to the Monday night game, which was the Chiefs
and Ravens, and I go or that was the Sunday
Night game or whatever. I don't remember. No, it was
Chiefs and Giants and the Chiefs were playing and that
(01:41):
was the last thing that I needed. And so I
was basically taking on this guy and he had the
Chiefs defense, and I was up by eight points, and
so I was like, okay, that's you know, it seems like, okay,
I think I should be good as long as the
Giants can do something on offense, which turned out pretty bad.
So that didn't really happen. And so the game comes
(02:04):
down to the final minutes and I look at the
final score and I've lost by point two points, not
even a full point two, And I'm like, dang it, It's.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Like, what's crazy? Is the week before you beat me
by even less?
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah? Point zero four zero, which man, thank god, you know,
I I'm sorry about that. Yeah, not really, but anyway,
so I'm up. Or I lost by point two points
and I'm like, dang it, that's unbelievable. I can't believe
that that happened. Then I come in the next morning.
Of course I'm back on checking my score or checking
stuff on Fantasy or whatever, and it has me as
(02:42):
a win by one full point, and I went, wait,
what the heck? And I look and they adjusted the
score on what he got for his defense, so he
had nine points to beat me. Then they adjusted it
to eight points and I got the win, and I'm like, wow, okay,
I don't know how that happened, why that happened, but man,
I'll take it. Yeah, the guy was not very happy
(03:04):
about it. He left. He was he I'm the commissioner
of our work league, so he thought shenanigans were going on.
And I go, well, how do you I'm not Yahoo
go in and change the scoring like I don't. I
don't think it's.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
As stupid as that, Like you're gonna cheat that much?
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yeah, you know how it goes. So I just laughed
at him, but I just good, No, I didn't do anything.
You could take your issue up with Yahoo and it
wasn't me, So it was what it was. But I
snuck out a win and I'm mad, I'm sitting pretty,
I'm feeling great. And then when the next day happens,
when they put out the standings and all that stuff,
I see that I'm now instead of two and one,
(03:40):
I'm one and two.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
What the hell?
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Wait a second, I got the win. What happened? So
I go back and look again, and they readjusted the
score and gave him nine points again.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
I wonder why.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I have no idea. I don't know if it was
like a sack that wasn't deemed a sack or I
don't know what, man, but it was really bizarre, and
so I ended up losing by point two points again,
so I'm like, this is unbelievable. So I thought I
had lost, then I thought I won, and then I
actually lost. So it was a bizarre week and it sucked.
(04:12):
So I was not happy about that. And then on
top of that, I've lost ceedee lamb. Now who's my
number one pick in two leagues for three to four weeks,
and so that absolutely kills me. I mean, luckily, in
our Buddies league, my team is loaded, like I have
guys on the bench that I don't have a place
for them. I have JK Dobbins, who's actually is pretty
(04:33):
much a start every week, but I'm never gonna start
him because I got good running backs. I have a
couple of wide receivers. I'm flip flopping between Debo and
DeVante Smith, and then I have another guy I think
I have, like Juwan Jennings or somebody else there. They're good.
So I mean, I'm like set in that league. So
I'm not too worried about it. But my work, our
work league, I'm screwed, like losing ceede lamb. I don't
(04:56):
know what I'm gonna do. I don't have anybody really
it's good enough to back ups. Yeah and that, Yeah,
that's the league that I went heavy ar wide receiver.
So yeah, I'm a mess in that league. I really
don't know what to do. But your injury woes are
way worse than mine, Like you're losing guys at a
record level every.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Week every week like so I had in the league,
I'm owing three in. I was banking on nausea Harris
because a Marion Hampton doesn't look ready. I'm thinking, all right, cool,
I'm gonna start Procheco one week against the Giants, and
I'm gonna start putting in Nase Harris and then he
tears his achilles.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
I mean that's the third week I've lost somebody.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
It seems like they were kind of setting up like that,
like nause. They were working him in for at couple
of weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
He missed most and then he was gonna be the guy,
and he was gonna be the guy, and then Yeah,
I've lost kiddo. I've lost party, I've lost Justin Fields.
I've lost Burrow. Uh. It sucks.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
It sucks the Burrow one. You kind of went all
in on him, and so you really are screwed a yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
And then brock Bowers got hurt. He's finding his way back.
I don't know what to do. I'm one and two,
two and one, but the oh and three league. I
just don't know what to do. And now I see
that Molie Neighbors is in practicing today, which I'm like,
it is Wednesday, so I take it for it with
a grain of salt.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I feel like he's taken Wednesdays off.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Well, he did get banged up on a terrible throw
by Russell Wilson at one point, so I thinking, well,
maybe they're I guess he's running on the side. Yes,
so maybe he'll practice tomorrow or Friday. With Fantasy nowadays too,
I've noticed this a lot this year, is that guys
usually Fantasy wise, if a guy doesn't practice Wednesday and Thursday,
that doesn't mean anything. As long as he's out there Friday,
(06:29):
he's gonna play. Yeah, if he's not out there Wednesday,
if he's not out there Thursday, I know you can
get stressed out, like, oh, this guy's not gonna play,
But it's Friday's all that matters. Most guys nowadays only
need the Friday and then that's it and then they're playing,
especially if they're a stud.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Sometimes they don't even need Friday and they still play play.
So yeah, it's it's been tough, it's been tricky, and
now you're gonna have to figure out.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Try offer somebody a trade, because I'm like, I love
brock Bowers, but I need a running back and a
wide receiver. So I offered him him brock Bowers for
a doonsday and Alvin Kamara because he has two running
He has Alvin Kamara on his bench and he's okay,
he's not great, but he's better than Pacheco.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
So and that I would want something else to powers
his tight end one but he hasn't done anything all
but he's gonna it's probably, but he has no tight end.
Duney has been a stud, but he's gonna come back down.
And Kamara is a decent back. So I'd ask for
something else, Bowers and something else you.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Could have, you know, Tony Pollard. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
I would do it.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
I don't have Tony Poller. I just really love that.
Well then in that league that you don't have Ceedee
lambitt that you don't have Ceedee lamb anymore, I do
have Juwan Jennings, and I'm willing to give up. I mean,
Joe what for JK. Dobbins?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Okay, I don't know about that. I don't know I
need it. I might need him. I might need him.
You never know, Bye week you never know. All right,
let's get to your question. He's got a lot of
questions this weekend. What's funny enough is a lot of
trade questions that are popping out, which is interesting. You
can hit us up on X at the show, Eddie
(08:04):
at the show, thor or you can email us your
questions every week and we'll try to answer him. This
one says, I'm not sure if I'm going to accept
this trade, but I had to reach out. They want
from me Xavier Worthy and Basil Tuton. Is that how
you say his name?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Oh, the bad running back for the Jaguars.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah? Yeah, for Harold Fannin junior. What and Daniel Jones?
And he says, I have Baker as my quarterback, so
I don't really need another one. Kincaid as my tight
end with Djoku as a backup wide receiver. I have
Nico Collins, Keenan, Allen t Higgins. If Worthy is back
and healthy, he would read a great flex off option.
(08:45):
So I'm not sure if I should do it. What
do you think?
Speaker 2 (08:47):
What does he need a running back does he have?
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Well, he's got It's basically Tutin and for Fannin and
then you're throwing in Worthy for Daniel Jones. So if
you already have Baker, why do it?
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Yeah, I don't understand why you want to listen And.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Those two, those two other running backs are garbage.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
So he cares if Daniel Jones balls out Sunday against
the Rams, Oh, here we go, I'll tip my cap.
It's still on the week four. This guy did not
magically learn how to play the corposition position. Believer, for
six years, he could only read half the field. He
didn't magically learn how to read post snap defenses.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
He's playing well. You gotta give him credit.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Two of the teams he's played have a combined oh
and six records. I mean, are we just gonna act
like he hasn't played the Panthers and Titans, the Dolphins
and Titans. I mean, come on, let's see how he
plays Sunday against the Rams' very this is very much better.
I'm just saying it's ridiculous that he's played. He's played
really well the first three weeks, but we're not trading
guys for Daniel Jones.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I'm a believer, Okay, big Indiana Jones guy, I bet
I vet uh this question says, First off, love the Pod,
always my go to fantasy show. Thank you very much.
He says, although a rough start sit last week? Do
we have a rough one? I mean, I said start
John the Taylor guy scored three touchdowns. I think by
(10:02):
start at tight end was Trey McBride. He got in.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
I'm like, what did we mean? I don't know, I
don't remember we write it down. Yeah, we really shouldn't
remember review what we do because I don't remember either.
He should have said it, that's on him. Yeah, you
gotta say what it was.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
No, man, I killed it last week. What you're talking about?
It says? I got a trade question for you. My
running backs are A Chan, David Montgomery, JK. Dobbins, Trey Benson.
I have a lot of interest in Benson and Dobbins.
Should I keep them? And what kind of value could
I get for them?
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I wouldn't trade running backs and I just don't.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Well they look what happened with James Connor.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
One hundred happened James Connor. Who knows how long JK.
Dobbins is going to stay out for. I'm desperate. That's
why I mentioned Eddie would trade Juwan Jennings for JK. Dobbins.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
I want a little more what Yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
You gotta think JK. Dobbins is eventually gonna get hurt
because he always gets hurt.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
But I just but I just need a running back badly, right. Yeah,
But so I wouldn't trade anybody because you need running backs.
Running backs get hurt.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Two extra ones and I don't Are you a real
believer in Trede Benson. Is he you know, I know
he's the guy, right, He's sort of gonna be the guy.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
They got a Marca Marcadaro, he's gonna it's not the Marcadaro,
he's he's the backup. Oh, the Barcadero.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
It's nothing Barcadero.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
He's the I picked him up because I'm like what
I have on my team that I'm owing three and
four backup running backs on right now, and I'm just
hoping one guy becomes the starter, because it's just hoping
for injuries. I really am.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
So if I got h Chan, Montgomery and Dobbins, I'm good. Benson.
I think if I could get some value for him,
meaning a decent wide.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Receiver, which if I if I offered you give me
some if you had Roma Dunezay and offered you Trede Benson,
would you.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Do that absolutely?
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Oh? Then then that that case, go for it? Well,
I mean meaning I get best.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
No, I don't want. I don't want.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
So he's got him though, So if if you offered
me Roma Duneesay for trade Benson, I'm doing that in
a heart.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I don't think somebody would do it.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
What's the value? Then? Where are we saying the value.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
For value is a little. I think you're in j Jennings,
the Juwan Jennings world for trade Benson. But I don't
want to give up a starting running back for a
guy like Juwan Jennings persaal, No, he's a starting running
back I would want. I needed, So I would say
hang on to him, see it and try to get
If he has a big game in a week or
(12:25):
two of one hundred and twenty yards and a touchdown,
then you trade him. When he's high. Right now, people
still look at him and see Trey Benson and go eh.
But if he hasn't.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Somebody he's saying he's seeing interest for him. Yeah, So
what is it? What's the interest?
Speaker 2 (12:38):
If it's a second tier wide receiver, then I would
do it.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Jayleen Waddle. That offense, you got four running backs you
don't want Jalen Waddle doesn't do it for Michael Pittman
jun thrown from Daniel Jones. All right, sorry about the reason.
All right, This question says with ce d lamb out,
trust me. I know what's a better option for wide
(13:02):
receiver to t Higgins, Keenan Allen or Jerry Judy.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Keenan Allen without a doubt. I mean, t Higgins is
shot right now.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
It's not even really his fill.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
But Jake Browning stinks. What did we tell you last
week when they were acting like he was gonna be
And then who's the other one?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Jerry Jerry Judy or Keenan Jerry Judy has done zero
zero well, honestly the whole Cleveland Brown's offense. He shouldn't
start anybody. I got fooled into drafting Jerry Judy. He's
like my fifth wide receiver, so I'm probably never going
to start him anyway. But I was like, oh, you know,
he had a big year last year. Joe Flacco can
(13:39):
throw the rock, you know, But no he can't. And
then they're terrible.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, they're terrible. So I'd go with Keenan Allen.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
He's being out right now, I mean, and and Justin
Herbert loves him. Yeah, I mean, he's he's the guy.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
And this may be a longer than three week thing.
I mean, it's him in three weeks. But if he
could stay healthy, I don't know why he wouldn't catch
more touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Okay, I got another question about your boy, Trey Benson says,
should I put in a waiver claim for Trey Benson?
Possible drops would be Travis Hunter, DeAndre Swift or Matthew
go Golden. I'm in last place, so I likely will
get first Dibbs. I mean I would.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
I would.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
He's he's going to be the starter. Yeah, so you
want a starter. I'm not dropping DeAndre Swift, who's been good. No,
Travis Hunter has done nothing nothing. What's the players.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Keep brewing up? Travis Hunter with this fifty to fifty crap,
having pay fifty percent offense fifty percent defense, He's done nothing.
The Jaguars offense is kind of a mess. Brian Thomas
Junior has done nothing.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
And he looks scary there. Yeah, he's like dropping past
this never.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
La mart Liam Cohen. I I would drop Travis Hunter. Yeah,
someone picks him up. Great. But here's why I don't
want to drop Matthew Golden. He's a rookie. It's only
week three. That's a good offense.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah. I think at some point he's gonna get it going.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Yeah, it might be this week against the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
That could be. You're right, Uh, Final question is a
flex question. JK. Dobbins or the most popular guy on
the show right now, Trey Benson.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I would go with hold on who's playing who I
gotta see.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Well, Dobbins, they're playing the Bengals.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Oh so definitely start.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Dobbins has been the guy I don't know yet what
I'm gonna get out of Trede Benson.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
And you don't know what the Times trips gonna be.
They put it in Barcadero, right, it's not but the Bengals.
The Bengals may fall apart. The Bengals may fall apart.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, they looked.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
If their defense wasn't good with Burrow, now it's even worse.
They look horrible. And Seattle's got a pretty good defense,
so they may that's Seattle who they Since Arizona's got
a pretty good defense, that may be another blowout. I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
So all right, let's get to our starts and since
for the weekend, real.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Quick to start and sit that he may be talking
about is last week I said start Kelsey's start Pacheco,
thinking they were gonna have big games. The Chiefs are terrible, Like,
I'm sorry, it's time it needs to be said the
Chiefs are not the same team. They stink like if
they were, if they played anybody with any sort of offense,
they're gonna lose because they can't score, they can't run
(16:04):
the ball. Kelsey looks a hundred years old. So I
thought that was the game they were going to explode.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
What's really crazy about Pacheco is that he is getting
no touches at the goal line either, So Kareem Hunt
is vulturing all the touchdowns. There's any good yeah, yeah, one,
And so it's just yeah, if you got Pacheco, sorry,
you know it's not great. It sucks, not great.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I thought last week was the week they were him
and Kelsey would finally do something.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yes, now it all makes sense, all right, quarterback, who's
your start?
Speaker 2 (16:33):
My start this week is a guy who's not having
a great year, but two out of three weeks he's
put up big Fantasy points. He's at home and no,
and he's playing a bad defense. Gino Smith. Oh, I
know you hate Genos. I can't stand him. He's ruined
brop hours for me.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
But if I get another text on a Sunday about
Geno Smith, I can't take it.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
But but this is the week, Gino finally has a
big game playing the Bears.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Okay, I'm going with a basically, you could probably start
anybody against the Cowboys defense. Yeah, the Cowboys defense is
absolute worse than the league. They are giving up points
left and right, and just tons of fantasy points.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
They can't run to the quarterback and terrible.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
So Jordan Love, I mean, good, have a have a
day son. I mean he is gonna go off. I
gotta imagine and coming off a really terrible loss, offense
look terrible. They're gonna put it together against Dallas and
look really good. It's the Micah Bowl. It's gonna be
a big game for the Green Bay Packers.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I think, who's your shit on the opposite end of
the spectrum, No, ceedee lamb uh, you knows what George Pickens,
he dropped a big pass last week. I'm gonna go
with Dak Prescott. Oh, because that that that def that
Packer's defense is good and he could get out of
hand pretty quickly where they're gonna have to just throw
a throw throw and Mike is gonna be getting some sacks.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
My sit this week is a guy that I don't
know what's going on with his team? I don't know
what's going on with him. I know that the offensive
line is not good, but c J. Stroud at this point,
he's unplayable. What happened to them? Their offensive line is
not good. I understand that, but they shouldn't be this. Oh,
win three the Texans terrible. I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
This isn't like he was good last year. That was
pretty bad down here too. Yeah, so I know, I
know we like to blame quarterbacks for everything, but he
hasn't played well. Right, Like, the offensive line is not great,
but he also hasn't played well. Yeah, which is weird
because he had such a good rookie year.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, this team is really missing Joe Mixon a lot
because Nick Chubb kind of looks washed there.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
And Tank Dell. I mean remember how when they had
Tank Dell before like ruined his leg and that guy's
career is over.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Forgot about him.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
So because Nico Collins's numbers have gone down.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Yeah, yep, yeah, not good running back. Who's your start?
Speaker 2 (18:46):
We talked about him earlier, JK Dobbins against the Bengals.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
I'm starting him against the Bengals. Loose Bengals. He's terrible.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Uh my start this week obviously, with no Naji Harris anymore,
you're gonna see a lot of Marion Hampton and so
taking on the Giants, I think Omarion is finally going
to have that big game we've been waiting for as
a rookie, and I think he goes off. Who's your sit?
Speaker 2 (19:11):
My sit this week? Is everyone's fantasy darling, But he's
not great. Jacorey Krossky Merit, Bill Merritt, Bill he is?
You don't know who's getting the ball? Is it Chris Rodriguez,
he's been doing pretty Bill Merritt? Is it the other guy?
What's his name? I don't have in my fancy team too?
And he stinks. You don't know who's getting the ball.
You don't who's getting the ball. You don't know if
(19:31):
Jane Daniels is playing. I'm just standing away from that backfield.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
All right. So I'm gonna go with the other guy
that we were talking about, the Embarcadero, Omar Demarcado. I
know that he's a kind of waiver wire snag. You know,
obviously Benson. Everybody's getting him. But Benson's going to be
the guy yeah, de Marcado. I know he's established there before.
(19:54):
He was the starter before when Connor went down. But
I don't think he's gonna get a ton of ton
of carries and so I know, you know, the as
soon as you see someone go down, you're everybody's desperate
to grab the guy. And if you picked him up,
don't expect much. I just don't think he's gonna do
have a big game against Seattle wide receiver. Who's your start?
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Another guy we talked about, Keenan Allen. Oh, I mean
they're at the Giants. The Giants can't stop anybody right now.
On defense, they're just not good. So I start Keenan Allen.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
My start this week. I think you're gonna see a
big rebound game from the Ravens this week. Taking on
the Chiefs that we're talking about. I think we're they're
going to put it on the Chiefs. Actually, I think
we may see a blowout here really where you're just
gonna keep wow.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
I don't the Chiefs defense is good, but they just
flat out stink on offense. Listen, the NFL is all
about one score games. If you can win one score games,
then you'll go far in the NFL, like the Eagles
are doing right now. They're not that great on offense,
but they're winning one score games. Last year, the Chiefs
somehow managed to win all those seventeen one score games.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
This year, they's not happening.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
They're not happening.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Yeah, it's just what.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Honestly, Patrick Mahomes isn't that good this year? You're like,
what happens? It's so weird.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
They would be even worse if Patrick wasn't playing as
well as he.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Actually is, which is not well. Yeah he's missing, He's
still doing stuff, for sure. It's so odd.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Yeah, I'm gonna so I'm gonna go with Jay Flowers
having a big game. I think I think that Zay
goes off this week. Lamar is not going to let
them lose this game. It's great. Yeah, you know, I
mean they that Bill's loss is really going to come
back and haunt him because they had that game one.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, and and and the Lions kind of beat them up.
Yeah it was closed, but not really. And Derek Henry's
got a hold out of the football. But I think
Zay Flowers gets in the end zone this week. Who's
your sid This is a guy who it's shocking. He
was the generational can't miss prospect, but he was terrible
for the Cardinals against the drop against the Niners. Dude,
(21:48):
wide open, Marvin Harrison junior Seahawks have a good defense.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
He's done. I don't know, he's he looks done out there.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Yeah, he's terrible.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Wide open, throws up a can of corn. Yeah, and
he just dropped opposite and you're like, wow, I mean
that was the ballgame? Is he would have scored easily. Yeah.
I don't know what's going on with him.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
It's really crazy.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
It's got to be mental, Yeah, because it just doesn't
make any sense. I sit this week. I'm avoiding all
these guys. It's hard because I know you you may
have with the number one overall pick, take taken Jamar Chase,
but that whole Bengals offense it looks awful. So I'm
gonna sit the other guy, T Higgins until until I
see anything out of the Bengals offense. I just got
(22:30):
to stay away from. And you're playing a really good
defense in Denver, and so you know Patrick Taan all
those guys that will be beloaded ready for Bear. I
just I can't play t Higgins right now. So unfortunately,
I gotta bench him tight end. Who's your start?
Speaker 2 (22:43):
This is a guy you're gonna start, stick to it,
starving no matter what. I know that he's had a
couple bad weeks. I know that Gino Smith's been bad.
Here you're starting brock Bowers. Here we go starting brock Bowers.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Starts and sits to try and get your team.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Starting brock Bowers. He's gonna get you thirty this week.
Booking credit, I'm not.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Booking nothing right out of your mind. I think he's
going to be better. Okay, I'm done with this. I'm
done with this. I start this week is another team
that has been winning with smoking mirrors to me is
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I'm not sure they're as good
as a three and oh team, but they've gotten it done.
(23:24):
So give him credit. But I think they're gonna get
exposed this week. I think Philly is gonna come in
there and bear it up a little bit. So I
like Dallas Goddard this week to actually have a decent game.
So I'm going with Dallas Godard as my start. Who's
your sit?
Speaker 2 (23:36):
My sit is Mark Andrews. I know he just had
a huge game. First two games. His first two games,
first two games, that should be your start. His first
two games were bad. I know he had a big
game last week last week. Chiefs defense. Even though I
don't think their offense is any good, their defense is
still really good. They do well against ten.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
I hate these tight ends. You're making no sense, get
in no sense. My sit this week is a guy
you're gonna start him when I say, obviously as a sit,
you're gonna start him because he's probably your main tight end.
But don't expect big things out of Sam Laporta this week. Now.
I know we saw some good things out of the
Lions last couple of weeks. You're still gonna see that probably,
(24:19):
but you're picking on what I think is the best
defense maybe in the league, which is weirdly the Cleveland Browns.
I mean, they're playing incredible right now. So I don't
know if you're gonna see fifty two again from the
Lions or even what they did against the Ravens. And
I think it's really gonna be tough for Jared Goff
to have time to throw things like that, so they
may still be able to run the ball. I just
(24:40):
don't know that Sam is gonna have a big game
this week. So that's why I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Probably said also quick look at your waiver wire because
people are gonna drop the Browns defense and their next
like four games are against like the Steelers, the Dolphins.
They're gonna dominate the Browns defense. Already pick the league.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
What listen, it's all about the double B right now. Okay,
so we'll see what I happened. Hopefully you go out
there and get a win.
