Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh, so this was I'm trying to think, how long
has it been. It was the beginning of August, so
about a month. Yeah, yeah, it was because it was
before our trip to Austin, oh it. Emily decided she
was going to join a gym. And and it was
right around the time that school started because she found

(00:23):
herself bored because she no longer was doing pick up
her son, Reid can walk to school now, and so
she in her afternoon time sort of her life revolved
around pickup and once that went away, she had nothing
to do during the day, and so she decided, you
know what, finally time, I'm going to join a gym,

(00:43):
get in shape. Yeah, join a gym, and that'll, you know,
not only take care of you know, my boredom, but
it's going to do kill two birds with one stone
and get back in shape.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Plus she loved the fact that there was a tanning.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Option to well that was really the main reasoning.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that was actually.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
It was really the main reason. But going to go
to the gym. Yes, So she went once or twice, and.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Honestly, I was super proud of her, and like, and
I got in, I got inspired by her, I was thinking,
to the.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Gym, that's what I do. I inspired wait wait wait
wait wait you guys inspired to go to the gym.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
No, but she inspired me to like start working out
again because I was doing as your workout.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I was doing these.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Workouts my WWW's and then I and then I fell off.
It was walk water and waits. Well, walk waits and
water was actually the order I would swim.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
So you got inspired? So are you doing it now?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
No? So so she I don't think you understand how
inspiration works.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, so I was like, wow, if Emily's doing this
to the point where she's joining a gym, like I
got to get off my lazy butt and do something
in the afternoons. And for I think two days after that,
I did actually do my workouts.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
What an inspiration.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Since then kind of fall.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
In office, But for two days I was like, man,
if she could do it, I could do it.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I got to get out. She didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Emily is the Gillian Michael of I don't.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Know, a horrible human that was screaming at the people
I saw the Biggest Loser documentary. I don't know if
that's a compliment A little more Bob Harper was the
vibe I was getting.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Which guy.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Anyway, So Emily was going to gym kind of well
once a week. We were averaging, you know, and I
wasn't anything crazy, but you know, it was what it
was she was going. Then we went to Austin and
Emily had an unfortunate incident go down in Austin where
she was wearing a top that tied in the front. Wow,

(02:46):
and she may or may not have a few cocktails
and some stairs just came out of nowhere, and then
the top she needed to try to retie as she
was walking down the stairs and then whoops, Oh, I'm
really hurt, you guys. It was her ankle. Don't really hurt,
really hurt moves out ankles turned.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
It was a wholes she sprained her ankle. Because since
she sprained her ankle, has she stayed off of it?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Well?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Has she iced it, has she elevated? Its still a sprain.
It must not be that bad.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Doctor X ray it.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
You can't tell if it's a sprain in an X ray.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
So you could see the tissue stretched ray.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
You could just see both an X ray.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
She told me she liked.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
She like, that's insane and so you know, you would
think that's that's gonna put her down for the count.
For a while, you would think it hasn't what. So
like that very next week, Emily went to the gym,
and we were kind of stunned and shocked, and we're like,
Emily must not be that. That's crazy, and and what
does Emily do at the gym? Not like weights and stuff? Emily,

(03:57):
the only thing she does at the gym there a
couple of weights. I do. The main thing you do
is walk on the treadmill.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
That's my first thing. But some squat machines and a
couple of little arm things.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Squat machines. What it's a squat machine.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
Thing we're sitting, that's a leg press machine.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
It's not squatting, and you're using your ankle like crasy.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
We're learning about the So.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That's sort of the last we've heard about Emily and
the gym. It's been I don't know how long has
it been, since about two to three weeks. I haven't heard.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
I know that your man Robert got in there. He
works out. He showed you a thing or two. I
just assumed it's a warrior. I just assumed that she
got to the pumer. She doesn't even to talk about
him because she goes all the time, just like we
talk every day about what we did the day before.
So if she went to the gym, we'd know about it.
It's been two to three weeks since I've heard anything

(05:00):
about the gym, about the squat machine, I don't that's
not even a real thing. We need an update, like,
what's going on with you in the gym?

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Are you going behind her backs?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Resting the ankle?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I've been taking just a little breather, a little rest, Oh,
little breather, a little rest. The ankle has been acting
up extra hard I've had.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I could have sworn that. You said you wore heels
to a dinner this past Friday night. So that's crazy.
Your ankle was acting up so much. I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
She went line dancing.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
But your ankle is acting up.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I mean, I don't.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Understand what I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I mean, if I got a jacked up ankle, I
would wear heels and go line dance. The last activities that's.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Crazy was walking around Disneyland for eight hours a bad idea.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Oh yeah, that was the other thing. Emily and I
went to Disneyland together and she had a walking boot
that she took off.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
I did take it off, an annoyed it was a
little so I guess I'm not doing things.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
To help my ankle. No, it's been hurting a little bit.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
So it's been a minute since i'd gone, and I
didn't really realize until I opened my app. No, you
have a workout app when the last Yeah, download the
gym app for the gym because until you check in. Wow,
have it open and check in, and then it's the
only way you do it. Keep track of your keep

(06:30):
of your fitness journey.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
That's a short journey.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Well, I have a logging of all of my check ins.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Oh, here we go.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
So last time, well, I just let me count one, two, three, four, five.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
You went five times?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
That was it and the last the date The dates
are on there. Oh okay. The date of my last
visit to the gym was August twenty.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Eight, Emily, So you went five times all together, and
you haven't been in a month.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Emily, a month. It's the twenty fourth of September. September.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
How did you only go five times? I'm more concerned
that she only went five times than she hasn't gotten
in a month. But like, that's so creat both, it's
so crazy.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Maybe maybe she bought a month membership.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Yeah you could do that in some gym.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Oh you can't. Well it's a year you bought.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
I knew it. Jim, get you.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
They tell you if you buy the year long membership,
it's like twenty dollars cheaper than the actual month month,
but you have to do it for the full.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Year, and it's annual fee. And I paid the annual fee,
paid the annual What.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Was that like sixty bucks? Yeah, yeah, sixty bucks or
thirty dollars a month, twenty five plus the annual fee. Sure,
that's twice a year out.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
What's what's up? What are we doing?

Speaker 6 (07:52):
Well?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
I blame this on one thing and one thing only.
It's my ankle.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Okay, but we went over all the other things you
do and it don't seem to be an issue.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
It's the gym is the problem.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
No, it really isn't. Before and we've did we told
you other exercise you could do that. Our ankle were
on Friday. She won't ride the bike. You ride the bike,
You ride the bike.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I got a pressure walked in Alzheimer's this Saturday. So
that's that's going to be happening.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I believe I saw you jumping in this room yesterday
regarding gossip you were excited to hear.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Oh yeah, I need I need to bring that up.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Well, I mean, I'm just saying.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
I'm just saying, like I didn't realize your your ankle
was was like that.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
So I think we know what I need to do
and what I need to do back to the gym,
is I need to go.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I'm going to go in there today. Oh good, good
to pause my membership?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Okay, what was it?

Speaker 4 (08:45):
Why I just got to put it on pause?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Isn't that like for when you like travel or you're
like anger, I'm going to pause it.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
And you paid like one hundred and fifty bucks for
five workouts?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Think about that.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
It you just have, Emily. It's not swallen flash someone.
It's not swallen.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Flashe you eyes the less bigger than.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
On my life. It's not that one is a little bit.
It's not swollen.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yes it is.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
No, it's not.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
I mean I have eyes.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
I will use measure, measure, measure, measure how much bigger
it is. I'm coming over there, I'm coming I'm putting
a picture up.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
What you go for it?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
What are we? What are we doing here? Can we stop?

Speaker 4 (09:35):
I'm taking care of my ankle.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
You're not taking care of your ankle. You keep doing
things all the time that are were injuring your ankle
worse and so what you're just saying.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
That for the rest of what am I supposed to
growth crutches?

Speaker 1 (09:46):
If originally we're over a month into this high listen,
see thee Lamb just had a high ankle spring. The
best players, he's going to miss three or four games. Okay,
are you ceee Lamb? Is that what you're saying?

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Okay, you're not.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
I mean, I can't imagine how dramatic she would be
if she actually got a high ankle spring. It would
be crazy And can you imagine it would be crazy dramatic?

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Jerry Jones found out ceed Lamb went line dancing, or
or walked around Disneyland or wore heels with his mom.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
I did have to walk from my mom's apartment on
Friday night and the heels.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
Oh why do you pause your dumb stuff instead of
pausing your members stuff?

Speaker 3 (10:29):
And its.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Heels when the injured ankle is dumb.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Pause, gym you going to go down? Thank you?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
You know it's nice about Emily at the gym. She's
more pleasant to be around. Oh wow, Really, I've heard
that from a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
And you know what, and I really noticed the difference
in her body.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
You really, and honestly, not just that her confidence seemed
really did.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
She seemed skin glowing.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
When she walked in here after like the third day,
and whoa was she thirty five acres?

Speaker 6 (11:00):
Oh my god, say that to me. I'm gonna pause
it stunner. Now we're back again. Next thing, you know,
next thing? You know, it's the it's the neck.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Oh god, another thing. Take care of facts.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Get out of here, Get out of here. Wow, So
we're really doing this. You just you went, You went
for a couple of times and then that's it.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Press pause. What happens? You can press play again? Okay, pause?

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Are you also pressed? You know what that's coming?

Speaker 5 (11:40):
I mean, Sky, you got inspired to work out twice.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I mean you can lose inspiration. Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Well that's a good point.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
So you're doing this kill Okay, look at what you've done.
