Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's showtime, people, It's showtime here we are, yes.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Buckle up for this.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
You're about to experience this show. How would you like
to get down with some real gangsters with the ringleader Eddie.
I'm weird and I have my weird quirks, but overall
I have a pretty normal sensibility.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
The accountant and room mothers Sky.
Speaker 5 (00:22):
I'm also not very brave nor strong.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
The enforcer thor Am I negative all the time? Yeah?
Do I have issues? And dressed in black from head
to toe.
Speaker 6 (00:31):
Emily, I am a mix of trashy and classes.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
It's the show and it starts right now.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Well, there's one thing you gotta know about our friend
Skuy over here. Pretty dramatic. She's a dramatic lady, you know.
I mean sometimes she thinks she's having a stroke when
really she's just got a headache.
Speaker 7 (00:55):
Well, I think you could ask friends to check your
smile to see if it's crooked.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
And I think that's a dramatic I think little.
Speaker 8 (01:02):
If her husband doesn't answer the phone, she thinks that
he's passed out, like he's lost on arm Yes, and
athleting out on the ground.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Definitely, a limb has been chopped off, she's a worst
case scenario chick.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
That is true, which is wild because you're you know,
I have this outlook on life that's supposed to be sunny,
and you always go to the worst case.
Speaker 7 (01:20):
So I have been worst case scenario girl. My whole
life plan for a rainy day. Like I've been thinking
and planning about will I have enough money to retire
since I was like eighteen, because the last thing I
want to do is be the elderly person with no
money for medical care, and then I end up in
some weird pess' eighteen like probably since I was sixteen.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I don't know, why do you think of retiring when
you're eighteen?
Speaker 7 (01:44):
So honestly, my weird My whole thing of the last
couple of years of doing these self help audio books,
which I know you guys love when I tell you
all about them, is to try and change that mindset
because that, like my set of going to the worst
case scenario is like, so bad for you.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
You said the last couple.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Of years, Yeah, that I've been doing myself help. Well,
I mean you went out and bought a retirement house
in Oregon. It's not working. No, I still not working.
Speaker 7 (02:15):
I still feel that as smart planning because I'm a
seven year old woman, but I can now reflect back
at sixteen years old. That's that's not healthy thoughts to have.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
But if you're trying to change the mindset though it's not.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Working right, Well, I'm still working on it and you're
still wildly dramatic. Yes, so I don't know.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
And I still know you're right.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Why not actual therapy?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
No, that's too much.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
You have to do work and figure out why you have.
Speaker 7 (02:45):
These because I have to put a brawn for that.
You know, I don't want to deal I don't want
to deal with that. But but now there is a
little bit of progress.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
Still immediately we'll have that thought.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
But then I'll try and like talk myself out at
that thought, whereas before I was fully in that thought.
Like I'm practically calling nine one one because I know
my husband is laying on the ground bleeding.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Out right now.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Yeah, he was in a bad selsers area, so he
didn't get.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, this is uh, this is Sky, this is who
she is. And so yesterday we had a lot of
drama at Sky's house yesterday really over nothing. Well it
was over nothing. Don't try to don't try to spitch
on this thing.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Okay, you're such like, Honestly, I'm still trying to come
down from it, and I'm.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Still nothing going on, and.
Speaker 7 (03:39):
I'm still trying to life not be mad at my
husband right now.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
You need to be a little mad at yourself.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Phe I'm mad at yourself? What?
Speaker 7 (03:48):
Okay, So we have decided to rent out the a
du in our backyard. Yes, we've heard tenant lovely yea choice.
By the way, going to UCSD, we'll be moving in
August first.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Oh, I can't wait for this. By the way, this
is gonna be phenomenal.
Speaker 7 (04:07):
I know I've already had like wild thoughts, you know,
of like if I run into her bringing dinner in, Like,
do I invite her in for dinner?
Speaker 5 (04:15):
You know, my weird.
Speaker 7 (04:16):
Overtalk, you know, like I don't. I've never done this before.
I don't know the rules, I don't.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Know Jamie's face. Okay, can you imagine you read you
find this place and you're like, all right, finally this
is you know, a cool little rental, you know, an
ad u. Hopefully the people are cool, they seem cool,
and then this starts happening. They invite you in for dinner.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
I read the granny flash from somebody years ago. The
last thing you want to do is talk to the lamb. Yes,
that's the absolute last thing you want to do see them. Yeah,
And if you do see them.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
High and they're a little uncomfortable, that's it. The last
thing you want to do. You don't want them in
your business at all.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
You want to act like they don't exist, and you
hope that What about Poppins.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
Nope, No, So like even me, who's like good friends
with my neighbors, for me, that's different, Like I like,
I'm okay with that, But even me, like who likes
being around people and stuff, this is too far, Like
I would actually not talk to those people just because
you're so close you don't want to know each other
exists almost Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
So we'll see how that interrupts.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
I've already been having weird thoughts like what will I
do in this scenario?
Speaker 5 (05:18):
What will I say?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
No?
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Definitely that braun so uh.
Speaker 7 (05:25):
Basically, the reason I'm mentioning that is because within the
last month, because this just came down like confirmed a
month ago, we have like, okay, the remaining projects at
our house, we got to tidy them up. Because all
of them are basically the entrance to her Adu.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
We got to put a fence.
Speaker 7 (05:42):
Up, we got to move the shed, we got to
actually make a walkway, all this stuff. So that's been
going on and it's like been fast moving. Whereas normally
we take ten thousand years to complete a project, this
one it's like August first is coming.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
We gotta go, yeah, deadline.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
So we've gotten help with our project, and you know,
the hubby has been doing a lot of like the
building of the fences and all that. But we've gotten
help from this company putting turf in because the front
area is going to have some turf where like the
walkways are and stuff.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Great.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Well, probably I don't know. A week ago.
Speaker 7 (06:18):
When the company started, you know, cleaning out the area,
they brought over the role of turf. And if anybody
has ever put turf in their yard, you know that
stuff is crazy stupid expensive.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Oh yeah, like on a wild level.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
Like the first time I got a quote for turf,
I was I was like, this guy's trying to scam me.
And then I realized, oh no, that's just the price
for turf. It's just expensive. Makes sense because it lasts
forever and you don't have to maintain it. So okay, whatever,
So we got a scream and deal on this turf.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
So I'm talking.
Speaker 7 (06:52):
The role of turf we have is about six grand
worth of turf. Okay, which six grand, that's no joke, pies, no,
for anybody. Six grand is a lot of money, especially
right now in this economy like crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
So I was surprised when.
Speaker 7 (07:09):
The company put the roll of turf in our front yard,
like because we have a little gate blocking off the courtyard,
but right next to our driveway there's a little strip
of rock and that's where they put the roll of turf.
And it was probably the second morning it was there.
I was here at work. It was like four thirty
(07:30):
in the morning. My ring cam goes off and it's
a truck going like by our house, really slow that
early in the morning. And immediately my mind does what
my mind does, and I know for a fact that
this truck is loading up our six grand worth of
(07:51):
turf in the back and they're driving away.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I mean, that would be pretty wild. It's probably really heavy, right.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
I mean, yeah, we were, wouldn't you What time is it?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
Four thirty in the morning.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
I just feel like you would hear that like.
Speaker 7 (08:05):
Yeah, but you don't like really hear like heavy.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah, it would take it would take a while you
guys to load it onto a truck.
Speaker 7 (08:14):
Yeah, but if you guys loaded it off a truck
in front of my house. So in my mind, I'm like, well,
if a few guys can load it off a truck,
then a.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Few guys can load it on a truck.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
So I am freaking out to the point where I
don't even mention it to you guys because I'm so
sick to my stomach about it. Last week at work
and as soon as the hobby wakes up, I go.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Hey, can you go out front and check blah blah
blah blah.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Did the truck stop?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, well it's footage.
Speaker 6 (08:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
So it's kind of weird.
Speaker 7 (08:44):
Like basically I see it pull in and kind of
like stop with the lights on. But the way our
ring cam is my husband's car in the parking lot
blocks like half of the view, so all I can
see is that the car is still there. It's the
like because I can see the lights, but I can't
see what's going on in the area where the turf is.
(09:06):
Like it's it's blocked by my husband's car. So I'm
sick to my stomach. I call my husband as soon
as he gets up, and I'm like, can you check?
And that's when he says it's still there and says
exactly what you guys said.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
Do you know how heavy that is? Do you know
how hard that would be?
Speaker 7 (09:24):
Even if you had a pickup truck, the role would
be like hanging off the back because it's longer than
a pickup end.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
I mean, I understand the worry. Uh, But then after that,
did you move it?
Speaker 1 (09:38):
No?
Speaker 7 (09:38):
Because he like kind of talked me down, and like
I and and and then I started feeling bad. And
again with all my self help books, I'm like, hey, dummy,
stop focusing on this, because if you focus on things,
you manifest things. You can make things happen if you
think about them too much.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
So now tools to use other than saying hey dummy,
focus on something else, like other tools to use like hey,
do this, write this or do here's this?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (10:06):
Yeah, like the actual sounds like they're actual psychologists doing
this book.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
So yes, there are actually big sean but well that's
just one of.
Speaker 7 (10:17):
But at this point, you know, I'm I'm going, hey, dummy,
don't do that. You're first off, driving yourself crazy, and
second of off, you can manifest this thing and make
this thing happen, and that's the last thing you want
in the world. That's the last thing you want. So
I've been doing my best.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
It's safe, it's good. The turf is fine.
Speaker 7 (10:36):
Yes, you have six grand worth of products sitting in
your driveway all day, all night, but it's fine. It's safe.
Everyone says it's safe. Okay, great. So yesterday doing my business,
come home, take the dogs for a walk with the daughter.
Walking back up with the dogs, and it had been
trash day.
Speaker 5 (10:53):
Neighbors left their cans out of there.
Speaker 7 (10:55):
Oh hey, they're cans right in front of the area
where the turf is. So I notice the cans are
crazy like, it's like somebody has pulled them and they're
halfway in front of their the neighbor's driveway, but they're
in the street. They're like at a weird colock eyed angle.
And so I'm like, hah. So it draws my attention
(11:15):
to where the turf fizz? Where's the turf? The roll
of turf is gone, Okay, the workers must have brought
it behind the gate. They're probably getting ready to install it.
It's fine, and so I walk in and then the
dogs start barking at the workers, so I'm distracted. And
then later in the evening bring it up to my husband. Hey,
I swear when I came home the roll of turf
(11:37):
was gone. Is it in the front? Is it behind
the gate? Did I not see it? And he goes, no,
it's still out there. He goes, you just must be
seeing things. And I'm like, okay, God, I swear, I
like really thought, Okay, I don't know. And then later
in the evening, normal evening routine. He takes the trash
out every night, which we've discussed, you guys crazy he
takes it's always I don't know why how we're doing
(12:03):
different trashes, but our kitchen trash is always full at
the end of the night.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
Every night empties.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
He emptiest like once a what twice a week?
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Your kitchen trash.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
Yeah, he empties all the bathroom. We have a thirteen gallon.
Speaker 7 (12:19):
I don't know, maybe size big, the tall kitchen and
he empties every bathroom trash every night.
Speaker 8 (12:26):
A lot.
Speaker 5 (12:27):
We do a lot of tissues still, like every night. Yeah,
So that's just the routine.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (12:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I thought that. I thought everybody did that.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
But I guess as to go around to your bathroom
trash every night.
Speaker 8 (12:38):
So as he's a bathroom trash once every two weeks
because it doesn't get it doesn't get full.
Speaker 7 (12:44):
So as he's getting ready to take the trash out,
I go, hey, can you just check and see if
that turf's there? And that's when he rolls his eyes,
doesn't even acknowledge me, and walks out with the trash bag,
comes back in white as a ghost. The turf is gone,
The turf is completely lone. No, so I immediately go
(13:05):
call the landscaper guy like see maybe something I don't
know something happened, Like I have no idea what could
have happened, but call him immediately and he goes, no,
we need to check the ring camera footage. We need
to go through and see what happened. And so again
the cause the landscape.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
Guy a text real quick ago did you remove the turf?
Speaker 7 (13:24):
Yeah, that's exactly what I told him. I probably told
him like three times, and he's adamant. It's almost like
we're calling the cops and we need to have the
story mapped out first.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
That's so odd, and.
Speaker 7 (13:36):
So we're like having an argument of call the landscaper,
check the camera, blah blah blah blah. So I'm checking
the camera for like fifteen minutes, going through different timeframes
because it's the front, so anytime a car goes by,
it goes off, so there's so much to check. And
so finally I'm getting frustrated, we're fifteen minutes. In my
mind's already going to do I call the cops?
Speaker 1 (13:56):
First?
Speaker 7 (13:57):
Do I call my other neighbors and ask to see
their camera footage? Like, what's my next move here?
Speaker 1 (14:03):
The move should be to call the lantern. That should
be the only move.
Speaker 8 (14:08):
So because especially you told me he's responsive to oh
you can tell me he answers right away.
Speaker 6 (14:13):
Answer.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
It is weird though, if he took it and didn't
tell you guys, But that's that's odd.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
I agree. But the only move that's the first page.
Did everybody take it? We can't. We don't know where
it is.
Speaker 7 (14:24):
So I'm now like upset, worried, and then also mad
at the husband.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Why won't you call the landscaper, call this guy?
Speaker 6 (14:32):
What you just do? You have his number?
Speaker 7 (14:33):
But I never like, I don't you know, that's that's
you don't communicate. Yeah, like I think we've said hello
three times, and that's the exception toxician.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
I don't even know if he knows.
Speaker 7 (14:47):
And so finally I get so mad, I say, just
call him, and so the husband walks back and calls him,
like for some reason, walks in the backyard to call him.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
And doesn't come back out.
Speaker 7 (14:59):
So again I'm thinking, police, neighbors, Where am I going next?
And then I can't handle it anymore. So I walk
into the backyard to find the hobby smiling and laughing
and chatting it up with landscaper guy. And then I
give him a look of like of like WTF, like
what's going on?
Speaker 1 (15:19):
And then the husband just looks at me.
Speaker 7 (15:21):
He gives me the thumbs up and mouths he took
the turfees and yeah. So all of that I was like,
literally like internally I was dying. I was like, I
was like level twelve out of ten internally, like ready
to call the police. And it turns out, I mean
the landscaper guy apologized to the next level. He goes,
(15:43):
oh my god, I was gonna tell you, but then
I got distracted by this other thing. Guess he found
out that morning the turf had been cut wrong, so
he needed to bring it back to have it cut again,
and he was gonna tell us but forgot and loaded
it on the truck, which was blocked by the ring cam.
So crisis over.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Well, was it?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Though?
Speaker 8 (16:03):
Well?
Speaker 5 (16:03):
I aged like fifteen?
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Again, this is all very dramatic, I mean too much.
All the things, all the steps are incorrect, and you
could have saved yourself so much.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Why did he just call? Why didn't he just I
don't know, why didn't.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
He just call.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Sky? You are a mess June nightmare.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
When this is over, and then we'll have a whole.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
You'll have a yeah, yeah yet wild All right, we
had an unfortunate tragic death of a celebrity yesterday. Now,
if you grew up watching TV in the eighties, this
is gonna get you. We're gonna tell you who unfortunately
passed away yesterday. Coming up next on the show I'll
rock with a five three disturbed on the show, it's
(16:50):
walking five to three. So whenever you hear about a
you know, untimely death, that's sad.
Speaker 9 (16:57):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Celebrity deaths though, you know, can you know hit you differently,
especially if you have some sort of I don't know
connection to them somehow, like did you watch their show
or their movies or listen to their music? And it
may it may get you in a different way. And
that's sort of what happened yesterday. Yesterday we got this
breaking news and I was stunned. I don't know why
(17:21):
this affected me, but this one got me. And it
was basically because I grew up watching this show. It
was sad to hear that from the Cosby Show Malcolm
Jamal Warner tragically passed away yesterday, and and even hearing that,
you're like, what, Yeah, how the heck can that be?
He was not that old. Yeah, yeah, it was a
(17:43):
very very sad circumstances too.
Speaker 7 (17:45):
Yeah, so after the show every day will I know?
Speaker 8 (17:50):
So that's what hit me hard to Eddie because I
was a big Cosby show. My sister and I watched
a lot of Cosby show like that was one of
the shows.
Speaker 6 (17:57):
Heavy in rotation.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Oh that's surprises.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
So my heart I heard her today.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Knew that you weren't really a part of their family.
Oh did you think you does that thing? He just said,
Emily does that thing? Where she's like thinks that she's
their friends.
Speaker 6 (18:09):
I don't think, say I do that.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
The Bell Show, did.
Speaker 5 (18:14):
You tell people your dad was a doctor? I didn't, Okay,
I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
I didn't know.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (18:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (18:20):
Uh so, yeah, So every day after the show, we
record our P one podcast, and so we did that
and then we finished wrapping that up.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
Yesterday.
Speaker 7 (18:28):
I was around like ten thirty and as we all
do when we're done, look at our phone, and that's
where we saw the news alert that Malcolm Jabal Warner
had died of an accidental drowning at fifty four years old.
And so that, you know, that was all the information.
There was no other information. Was it a pool, was
(18:48):
it a lake, was it an ocean?
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Was it at home?
Speaker 7 (18:50):
Where was it? So we knew nothing, but yes, the
whole room gas.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We were really.
Speaker 7 (18:55):
Upset, and like Eddie said, it was one of those
reactions you didn't think you didn't see coming, but like
our hearts did hurt because I think we all though.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Did you watch the Cosby Show?
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I didn't, so I did not gasp. Yeah, I was
born in eighty I was born in the last day
of eighty six. So the Cosby Show, I was too young,
I was, Yeah, I was, I know who he is.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
But the gasp, yeah, we were very effected.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
I think Emily gasped enough for everybody well, and then
Eddie gasped.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
This one got so that was more of a what.
Speaker 6 (19:33):
Eddie was angry at the situation, didn't want to believe.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
It, denial a little bit. Wow, So there was bro Yeah.
Speaker 7 (19:41):
There were no details at the time, but by last
night we got more details. And it turns out he
died on Sunday while on vacation with his family in
Costa Rica, and according to reports, he was out in
the ocean when he got caught in a strong current
and you know, bystanders on the beach and lifeguards, they
(20:03):
all pulled him in, but by the time they brought
him on shore and attempted CPR, he had Yeah. So
but very kind of interesting, weird. Bill Cosby actually issued
a statement from jail statements on the passing well through
his rep you know, his representative.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Not sure I really was looking for a statement from Bill.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
It was interesting.
Speaker 7 (20:30):
He said he hadn't felt like this since nineteen ninety
seven when he got a phone call letting him know
his real biological son had been murdered, and he said
that's the only way he can equate it.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Did you guys know that.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
I don't remember Bill.
Speaker 7 (20:47):
Venus was murdered in nineteen ninety seven, but he basically
compared getting this news to getting news of his son
being murdered.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Okay, thanks Bill, Yeah, yeah, it does the same.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
No, you're a rapist going to drop a statement.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
We need something she needs, she needs.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Crazy.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
I can't do this, marwhin Uh. Denise made the shirt
for him Arry. He wanted this like really fancy shirt
and Bill said, no, you can't add dark heath Cliff. That'sful.
I told told him you couldn't have it, and so
then he said she'd make it for him, made it
for him, and it was like all jacked up and.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Think about him every day.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Malcolm jamal Water.
Speaker 7 (21:36):
After the list, we got Stanley every day.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Biggie Ye, well, Biggie was the Ridge. Here's the original Stanley.
Alex Trebek is Bob Barker on the No, that's such
a wild Halen Chris Cornell, I swear and missed the
somebody going to say good Judge of Dances. He was
(22:03):
the most recently.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yes, that's the one that really still stinks.
Speaker 6 (22:06):
And he just gave you crap for vegeting ball Barker.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Yeah, Alex Trebek and Lend but it was more about
Bob doesn't mean that to me.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
That connection with.
Speaker 7 (22:19):
Yeah, I thought so, he's like one hundred and fifty.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Yes, he died two years ago.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Yes, Yes, I'm trying to tell you. Yes, THEO. I
don't know if he's going to make the cut, but
I appreciate him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll send him.
I'll send him a shout out, but I'm not I
don't know if I'm gonna think about THEO every day. Wow,
but miss him, miss him? So sad man. We have
(22:48):
been talking a lot about the cold Play kiss cam
scandal a lot these days. Well, this must be why
this study came out. How many workers out there have
had some sort of romance with their boss. We're going
to see what the results are of this study when
we get back on the show. At ROCKOT five three,
(23:09):
that's Blink one eighty two on the show, it's rocko
O five to three. So the world still is not
over the unfortunate kiss cam incident at the Coldplay concert
that cost this CEO guy his job. I'm sure it
cost him his marriage, cost marything, and it is what
it is. You know, Well, this must be why this
(23:32):
study is out, Yes, because everybody's talking about it. They
wanted to know, all right, well, we know the story. Now,
this guy was the CEO. He's hooking up with this
chick in HR by the way, but clearly she's under
him literally, and so that that means he's probably her boss, right,
And so they decided to figure out, all right, well,
(23:53):
how many US workers have actually had some sort of
romance with their boss.
Speaker 7 (24:00):
So it turns out that about eighty percent of us
have had some sort of romance at work. And how
many of those people have gone to tell their HR
department about that, Well, barely any because if you don't know,
that's supposed to be the protocol at most workplaces. If
you're having an inter office romance, it's all right as
(24:23):
long as you let HR know, and of course, as
long as you aren't married and aren't having a fair Yeah, yes,
that is the protocol.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Back in the day, I got myself into a little
bit of a trouble, oh trouble. I had a little
bit of reputation here in the building already skin when
I was a single guy. Can't you can't date a
bunch of people in the same building because then eventually
they talk.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Yeah, that gets around great.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
I did almost have a situation with a boss of
mine at McDonald's, not Bill. I was named assistant manager.
There was an assistant manager above me, and it was
a female. I got the job, no, no, no. She
(25:11):
was a few years older than me. So I was
fifteen and she was like nineteen or something like that,
and she was like, really it sounds lame, but she
was super cool. And I remember that thinking that of
like this chick so cool, like man, and she wouldn't
give me the time of day.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
You know.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
Well, one time we were all hanging out after work
and she was drinking and maybe I don't know, I
might have been hanging out or whatever, and she was
throwing it back at me. Because I was I would
always try to flirt with her and she would not
get me the time to day. Yeah, and then finally
she was like throwing it back at me, and I
was super intimidated because I was fifteen, she was nineteen,
(25:53):
and I thought she was really cool and I was
finally like all right, I'm like this shot. Oh and
we got then she was like, no, I'm not having
all the time for you, and so I didn't get it.
And then she quit after that, and then I got
these She realized what she did. Yeah, she crossed, she
crossed that line. Yeah, yeah you did. It didn't happen,
(26:14):
It didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
But she well, she she quickly. She couldn't handle it.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Maybe right, right right, I guess who slid right into her.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Wow, I became a system manager, surprised to hit her
back up, going hey.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
I should have so much, so much my whole world.
Speaker 7 (26:32):
Well, it turns out that of the people who are
in office romances, only about eight percent to actually tell.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
The h The hottest part about an office romance is
not telling it. Yeah, it's like and it's like the
on the download. No one knows, not that I've had
a million office romances.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Yeah, but I mean that.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
But that's always the hottest thing about It's like a
secreted affair, but you're not having an affair against somebody,
but no one knows.
Speaker 3 (26:59):
This guy I did have a secret love affair going on.
When he was an intern. There was another intern and
they were secretly together, and then we finally found out
about it. They made sweet love on our couch and
I got really pissed. Yeahound the same couch. Yeah, that
disgusting thing.
Speaker 7 (27:17):
Well, and then all of a sudden, they like would
happen to be at the same events and it'd be like, oh, well,
yeah she was going.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
I just decided like, oh we were friends and were
I know what's upends?
Speaker 3 (27:28):
So yeah, that was That was scandal.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
That was little.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
That was scandal.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
That was a scandal.
Speaker 7 (27:33):
Well, how many of people out there admit that they've
dated a boss or a superior? Over thirty percent a
third of people thirty three percent of people say yes,
I've dated a boss or superior.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
When I was in like my twenties, I would do that.
But now, especially now but thirties two, I just I
know way better now. I would never do it. I
just you couldn't because.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
You're you're ruining your social life and your work life.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Will ever do that? No?
Speaker 8 (28:03):
No, No, wildly, I've hooked up with co workers before
the pously, come on, no supervisors.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
That's surprising. Yeah, that's why you were never never raised
it in ranks.
Speaker 7 (28:18):
Sorry, well, I guess One of the upsides you, guys,
of COVID is, according to the study, workers say, it
is much easier now if you're a remote worker or
a hybrid worker to hide your.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
Interview because you don't see him every day relationship.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
That makes sense.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
You don't see him, that's true.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
We just heard about crazy Sky and the Boo earlier. Well, Sky,
I guess has been doing something for her husband, and
I'm not sure this is cool or not. We're going
to see what she has been doing. Coming up next
on the show at Rock with a five three corn
on the show it's Rock five three. So there's a
(28:59):
lot of things about Sky that we're already talking about
this morning.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
What's going on today?
Speaker 3 (29:04):
I don't know. You're just so wacky wack, just a
wacky chick. You're like the wacky neighbor on sitcoms. You know,
Oh there's Sky these days. Well, you've gotten crazy and
you've gotten crazier for the years. But that being said,
I will say this about you, uh, and don't don't
(29:24):
take this the wrong way. You're not that concerned about
outward appearance. Am I wrong? Am I saying anything corrector no?
But look at you, Look at what you're wearing today.
Speaker 7 (29:37):
I normally, when you say that to a woman it
is a full on insult that she'll probably have talked
to her therapist about. But I one hundred percent get
what you're saying. You are accurate. I put comfort before appearance,
and there are a very small it's a very small
list of things I will get dressed up for.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
So there you go.
Speaker 7 (29:58):
So it sounds very insulting. I want to be mad
at you for saying it.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
You say it, I don't say it. Well, I know,
I know, but I feel so me pointing it out
as bad.
Speaker 7 (30:07):
I feel like it's one of those things you can
say about yourself, Like you could be like, oh I
feel so fat today, but nobody can come up to
you and be like, well you're really fat.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
Yeah, I mean if you're walking around like you are
today in another Oregon zip up hoodie with socks and
flip flops, then.
Speaker 1 (30:25):
I'm sorry at work. Yeah, I don't. I'm so, I don't.
I mean, I have that has to be pointed out.
So it is what it is.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yes, you usually don't really care what people think about
appearance and any anything like that. Well, we had just
found out you have been starting to do something which
is again not like you, it's against your your thoughts
and beliefs. Really, so I'm a little bit surprised. Now
this has to do with your husband.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
Right, Yeah, so Eddie is right about everything he says,
even though it sounds incredible adult.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
But I know, I know, I know, I know, shut up.
Speaker 7 (31:04):
But I did start to notice something about a year
ago because here at work kind of things changed a
little bit where all of a sudden we were encouraged
to do more videos to reach out to whether it's
potential clients or people in the community, to like say, hey,
you know, we're here. If you would like to advertise
(31:25):
with us, we're here. So we've been doing a lot
more videos. And after the first couple videos, Mama's confidence
wasn't Mama. So yeah, because said videos here in the studio. Again,
we've already covered how I dress when I come to work.
Makeup is very minimal, jewelry is non exvacant, and I mean,
(31:49):
like I mean, so these videos, I would see them
after recording them at the end of the shift and
be like, oh, I don't like what I see here.
So that's what I decided. I know, I'm not this chick.
But if I'm gonna if I'm gonna have to make
these videos regularly, I am going to pay for a
(32:10):
picture filtering app.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Really, yes, like pretty much.
Speaker 5 (32:15):
Every woman I know has one.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
Yeah, I do you pay for one?
Speaker 6 (32:20):
I use a free version.
Speaker 7 (32:21):
Oh I thought you had to pay one.
Speaker 5 (32:24):
Yeah, so it's super cheap. And I was like, maybe.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
I do I have a Yeah, you did chest bigger?
Have you seen that you.
Speaker 6 (32:32):
Could do anything with huge?
Speaker 8 (32:34):
No?
Speaker 6 (32:34):
Bigger chest bigger?
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Well, because for a while, I know this one girl
that will do this, she'll she'll she doesn't really have
a lot upstairs, and then she You look at the
picture and you're like, whoa wait a minute. Oh, And
then I was told, oh, no, there's an app that
does that.
Speaker 7 (32:49):
Yeah, Because for a while before I got the app,
I knew Emily had a paid app, so I was
sending it to her.
Speaker 5 (32:55):
But then she was putting weird makeup on me and
stuff and.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Make up now eyeliner, yes, scared. I didn't cared.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
These Instagram models I follow are fakewe.
Speaker 7 (33:06):
Yes, sweet yes, Judy Pie, even the guys.
Speaker 6 (33:13):
Yeah really, and so make your muscles bigger.
Speaker 5 (33:18):
So I didn't like Emily adding winged eyeliner.
Speaker 7 (33:23):
So that's what I'm like. I got to get my
own app. I got to be in control of this
blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (33:29):
So I've basically only been using it for sales videos.
I used it I think twice on my social media
and one time was an epic fail because I was
drunk and.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
I is it the Humphreys concert. Yes, your face doesn't
even look real.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Yes, that was the face.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
That's a lot of posts. I mean most people that
post and do a ton of filters, they look fake if.
Speaker 1 (33:51):
We but if we didn't know you, nobody would really
know filter. But like, yeah, that pack of hot dogs
on your forehead is it's not nice?
Speaker 2 (34:03):
You look completely different.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Wrinkling on the face.
Speaker 6 (34:07):
Yo.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Yeah, you look like you're like Barbie.
Speaker 7 (34:12):
And it turns out Mama had had about three cocktails
at this point and was filtering and then was watching
the show and then went back and it and I
think what happened is I double filtered.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
I ran the filter twice.
Speaker 7 (34:26):
So anyway, I mean even in the comments, in the comments,
people are like, whoa calm down?
Speaker 5 (34:32):
Filter? Like people, yeah, I mean people are acknowledging it.
Speaker 7 (34:35):
So I have been very gun shy about the filter
ever since.
Speaker 6 (34:39):
Be careful and just a little bit.
Speaker 7 (34:41):
And this is where this all happened, because yesterday, at
the end of the show, I was having a private
conversation but in the room with my friend Emily, where
I showed her a picture and I said, Hey, does
this look too filtered? And she said, no, I think
you look right like No, that that looks fine.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
And I and then.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
This is what perked the interest in the room.
Speaker 7 (35:03):
I said to her, how does my husband, the Boo look,
Does he look too filtered? Specifically his hair? And that's
when Emily was like, you ran a filter on his hair?
Very confused, and that's when Eddie and Thor perked off
and said, wait, does your husband know you run a
filter on him?
Speaker 3 (35:23):
I don't understand it, because first of all, the Boo
is blessed with a great set of hair, so thick
and lush, it's very lucky. But I'm like, well, what
are you filtering? I don't want that. I don't understand
what's the filter?
Speaker 7 (35:36):
Yeah, he has turned into a gray goose and a
gray one and.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Well this is what happens when you age.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
Yes, I don't women like gray well, she does.
Speaker 6 (35:52):
I don't have a problem with gray.
Speaker 8 (35:53):
I still think a guy is handsome if he's handsome
with gray hair, like any either way.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Yes, can definitely get away with it total, I agree.
Speaker 7 (36:02):
But there have been a couple times where my husband
has seen a photo of himself and like he's shocked
by it and he swearrror. I don't know why, because
I've had this effect too, where like you're in a
certain lighting or it's a certain angle and it's like
the gray's glow.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
You know what I mean, Trust me, I know.
Speaker 7 (36:24):
And so like the picture I took, I felt he
looked a lot more gray than he would look if
you just walked up to him face to face. And
so when I showed him the picture from that night,
because I forced him to take his healfie with me
what he hates doing. I showed him the picture before
I filtered it, and he's like, WHOA, what's up with
all those grays? Like that's crazy? Why did you put
(36:46):
the gray filter on me? And Carol?
Speaker 5 (36:50):
So to me, that means guy doesn't like the grays.
Speaker 7 (36:54):
So when I was filtering, as Eddie calls my pack
of hot dogs on my forehead, when I was doing
a light filter on the pack.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Can you shut up? That's not nice?
Speaker 7 (37:07):
Again, not nice, but it's funny, okay, but.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Notious, but still not nice.
Speaker 7 (37:12):
So when I'm doing that, I'm like, hey, I have
read a little little light filter. Take some of these grapes.
Take some of these grays out. Now, we're not going
just for men jet black. Did he ask for that,
but he had made the comment, and he's made comments
before about he hates the pictures where I use the
quote gray filter and make him look so much grayer
(37:33):
than he actually is. So now if I'm going to
filter a picture of me to post and and I'm
using the gray filter, I've decided filter in the guy's hair.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
That's that's very unlike you. You're putting this much into appearance.
It's very value you care. I'm kind of shocked.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
Very yeah, because usually don't care about appearance or care
about thinks.
Speaker 7 (37:58):
Right, But there is this thing I'm not sure if
you guys are aware about social media, people who even
claim to be your fans, supporters, friends, they will make
the most a whole comments.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
And I understand about the well, so that's the thing.
I'm kind of hair.
Speaker 7 (38:14):
Yes, So I'm kind of used to it, and I'll
take it for myself. But that's why I rarely post
pictures with friends or with family members, because if somebody
comes after them, like I see red, I delete you
from my account, I block you like I get really upset.
So I would rather not get upset. And last time
(38:35):
I posted a picture where the Boo's grays were popping,
there were multiple comments, so I decided to avoid that.
I think the Boo would appreciate it. Didn't ask him
to talk to him about it. I think social media
so any of this you wouldn't.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Even see it. And so I decided that's what I'm
gonna do.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
I am a little bit surprised. Yeah, well, first of all,
here's here's one of the things. If somebody says something
about me, you know, aging or whatever, I just got
to say, this is how it. This is how it works.
When you get older, you get grayer, you get wrinkles,
you get I'm sorry you don't like that, but that's
(39:15):
the way it is good.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
That's life.
Speaker 6 (39:17):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
So if you want to make a comment about my
beers get a little gray there.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
You're right, it is. What do you want me to do?
I'm like, I'm sorry, I'm fifty two years old. Yeah,
and I could take that for me.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
But if people start making comments about your wife and
now she looks like I don't think.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
Obviously that's well, I would delete it. Yeah, I mean,
but I'm not going to filter her. I mean she,
I mean, she probably wants me to do that, but
I'm not. But that's just not I don't.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Know, what do you think?
Speaker 6 (39:46):
Send your photos over a ready all?
Speaker 5 (39:47):
Yeah, give her like crazy like bright red lipstick.
Speaker 6 (39:51):
She looked great, she looks fantastic.
Speaker 8 (39:54):
I wouldn't filter Robert, but only because, like I tell
him that he looks great.
Speaker 6 (39:58):
I sometimes will, well, he does.
Speaker 8 (40:00):
I sometimes help him with a couple of wrinkles on
his face if I'm already doing myself.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
So you do filter him.
Speaker 7 (40:04):
So you've literally just said I wouldn't filter him, but
then you just said I filter his wrinkles.
Speaker 8 (40:08):
I guess I was thinking about gray hair. I'm sorry,
I don't. I don't mess with his gray hair. I
think his gray hair is hot. Like, can I tell
him that?
Speaker 6 (40:14):
Yeah, I don't. They find anything wrong with the.
Speaker 5 (40:15):
Great, But you will filter his face?
Speaker 8 (40:17):
Yeah, but maybe maybe I would if I noticed it
at the time, but like a little bit.
Speaker 6 (40:21):
But I'm like not spending that much time going above
and beyond.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
No, that's exactly what I did. So what you're describing
is exactly what I did.
Speaker 6 (40:27):
Okay, So then I supported.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
I guess you're okay with you. I guess why.
Speaker 8 (40:34):
I feel like if I'm doing it to myself, then
I guess maybe help him a little bit.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
Oh, I didn't realize you do it to yourself too.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
I'm just living a lot lot everybody.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
I'm looking at your face right now, I mean letting
everybody know.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Every doesn't really look like that.
Speaker 6 (40:50):
Okay, I meant videos.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
I mean, you're you're not gonna call out her. I mean,
we're just gonna qu a.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Pack of hot dogs, got a couple of that's it,
You're but she's she goes, she's a botox chick. She
looks great. Why don't you throw them in there?
Speaker 5 (41:06):
That's where I'm gonna I'm gonna go, okay filter Uh.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
The Padres continue their long road trip as they kicked
off a series in Miami yesterday. We're gonna see what
went down against the Marlins next in sports shirt.
Speaker 10 (41:22):
Well.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
The Padres continued their long road trips. Starting a series
in Miami against the Marlins yesterday. Now the POD's gone
on the board. First when Jackson Merrill singled home Xander
Bogarts in the second. Then he scored on a Martin
Maldonado double and ran right through the third base. Coaches
stop signed, wow, Yeah, I didn't give a rip, but listen,
(41:45):
he was more than safe, so it was fine. Put
him up two to nothing.
Speaker 7 (41:49):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
The only run that the Marlins scored was a solo
shot by Alcohol native Kyle Stowers in the fourth, though
the game was two to one and the and then
the Padres bullpen does what they do and shut down
the Marlins the rest of the way. The full horseman
came in, closed the door, and Robert Swarez came in
got to saving the ninth for the two to one win.
(42:12):
So another one run game. It's just crazy, man, I
don't know. I mean, they just listen. As long as
we're winning them, it's all matters. Philip Rivers made it
official now he's retiring a Charger. Now he may be
confused because Philip hasn't played since twenty twenty and he's
pretty much been retired. But for some reason you know,
(42:36):
that was when he was playing with the Colts in
twenty twenty. But he made an official announcement yesterday as
he was officially retiring as a Charger.
Speaker 9 (42:44):
I'm Philip Rivers quarterback and I'm retiring a charger. What
you lived every day?
Speaker 2 (42:51):
It's the days at Murphy Canyon.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
On the practice field. What yeah, you missed those moments.
Speaker 9 (43:00):
Oh you're gonna get me going. I picture riding down
that hill. He ain't nqualkoff, you know, and he's just
going like, man, shoot, they're they're fired up today. Gotta
love and seeing the flags and seeing the you know,
smoke from the girls going and stuff that just never
got old. You know that never got old. Dang, I
(43:23):
expect to.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Get Oh wow, I love him. I love he seventeen
seeing Nady walking in the parking lot.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
I heard it.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
You cut the clip off. I love Philip. Man, it's odd.
I don't know why this is coming out now, like
five years later, and like for him to get this
emotional about it like that was pretty wild. But that's Philip. Yeah,
I love Philip. But he made it officially and he's
retiring San Diego Church and let's just say that. Let's
(44:00):
just say that too.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (44:02):
The Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, he's got some interesting and
negotiating tactics. I guess with his players. Well, he was
doing a press conference yesterday and proceeded to insult both
of his star players. What like this is that? Well,
he was talking about Michaeh Parsons showing up to training
camp but still not having that long term contract that
(44:24):
he's looking for. So he said this about him and
then his star quarterback Dak Prescott.
Speaker 10 (44:30):
Just because we've signed him doesn't mean we're going to
have him. He was hurt six games last year. Seriously,
we've signed I remember signing a player for the highest
paid at the position in the league and he got
knocked out two thirds of the year Dak Prescott?
Speaker 3 (44:46):
What, Jerry, injuries happen. It's football. I don't know, Like,
I don't think that they wanted to get hurt. Yeah,
But so you're just not going to sign guys because
they get hurt. I don't what he has lost his mind?
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Man?
Speaker 3 (44:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:00):
Just why is he still running things?
Speaker 3 (45:02):
I get you're the owner, you can do whatever you
want your money, but like you're worth a ga billion
dollars Son the guy, like, I mean, he's one of
the best defensive guys in football. I don't know this
or or don't Yeah, yeah, I know, but I mean
these saying basically insulting both of them is wild. Like
I don't, I don't understand Jerry Jones anymore.
Speaker 10 (45:22):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
The Phillies won in one of the most unlikely ways
possible last night on catchers interference. Now, the Phillies loaded
the bases in the tenth inning against Boston when Edmundo
Sosa thought he hit the catchers meant on a check swing.
They reviewed it showed that he did, so it ended
up being a walk off win for them.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
You know, a lot of teams teach this now. Oh yeah,
I get the catcher's interference because the coutch stakes his
glow out too far. You could hit Nikki with your bat.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
It's automatic bases loaded tenth inning and that's how you win.
I've never heard of that before. That's pretty wild, man.
There you go. That is sports Dirt for today.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
Well, it's a big week, guys. It's Comic Con Week
kicks off tomorrow. We are gonna go over the most
memorable moments in Comic Con history. When we get back
on the show on Rock with a five three fall
out boy on the show, it's Rock one oh five
to three. So big week mag week here in San
(46:21):
Diego it is Comic Con week. Oh yeah, I can't wait.
It's gonna be awesome. Man. I'm legitimately freaking out this
year because this is the first year ever that George
Lucas is going to be on a panel, which I mean,
that's that's as big as it gets. Yeah, and so
I mean that happening. I can't wait to hear what
(46:41):
that guy's got to say.
Speaker 1 (46:42):
Earlier.
Speaker 5 (46:43):
People gonna line.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Up like, Yeah, that one's gonna be insanity. But that
you know, the thing about Comic Con that we all
love now is these big announcements that they make, They
you know, have bring out the big stars, you know,
and people go bananas for Yeah. And so there has
been some crazy things that have gone down at Comic Con,
(47:04):
and apparently they put together the most memorable moments in
Comic Con history.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Yeah, and we can't go over all of them.
Speaker 3 (47:12):
Was that one of them when me and you met
Dave Franco and Thor didn't get to meet.
Speaker 7 (47:17):
Was it the time that the Rock showed up at
a movie premiere, but went to the second wrong.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
The Dave franco one is Tevis Steady. He's gonna be
at Comic Con this year. I thought little Emily was
on it. When should we expect him?
Speaker 6 (47:34):
Nobody's got did you say that?
Speaker 1 (47:37):
You know?
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Do you remember Sky and Eddie?
Speaker 6 (47:40):
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
I was just you have you followed up?
Speaker 6 (47:43):
Follow up with a couple of them?
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Zero chance yet I appreciate it.
Speaker 9 (47:47):
Zero.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
And then the other time, Yeah, I went to see
what was it?
Speaker 2 (47:56):
It was one of the Rocks. Yeah, it's terrible, but
it was two different theaters, right, they were showing up.
I went to one and the Rock went to the
other one.
Speaker 1 (48:04):
The Rock showed up to all the show that's brutal
and didn't like to give away stuff like it was
like a big thing.
Speaker 2 (48:10):
You basically have to hang out.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
Watched the movie that Sharon Popcorn.
Speaker 2 (48:14):
Yeah, Share Popcorn was great.
Speaker 3 (48:16):
Yeah, that was pretty pretty well.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Those are two things. Those are the two things that
happened to me.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
Now there there was some other, you know things. Remember Sky,
you broke up Justin Threau and Jennifer.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
And I'm sorry, I'm she accosted Justin throw for a
picture and then next thing, you know, a year later.
Speaker 5 (48:33):
He broke up with Jennifer Like. I was looking hot
that year.
Speaker 7 (48:37):
I was dressed as run from a Star trek and
I had this high.
Speaker 5 (48:42):
Pony and the rest, and we took a sweet picture.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Together at that same I think that same year, we
saw Jessica Chastain walk right. Yes, she was surrounded by
like ten people.
Speaker 3 (48:53):
Though of course, the probably the most famous thing, the
thing that went the biggest viral thing.
Speaker 10 (49:00):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
One year we had Chris Evans hang out with us
in studio and Kevin Smith and Jason Muse came in.
They were the guests right after, and Kevin Smith and Jason,
Jay Jane and Silent Bob were in the other room
while Evans was on the air with us, and they
were like kind of freaking out in there, and Jay
started like jumping on the mic and like saying stuff,
(49:23):
and it irritated Chris Evans and he was not having it,
and so he left, and then Kevin Smith came in
and was like joking about it. Kevin Smith then went
on to tell that story on the tonight show Wild. So,
I mean, it was pretty crazy. Was that one of
the most memorable ones show it Yeah, it was, it
(49:48):
really was. What a great guy.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
So it doesn't surprise me at all year for an
Emmy this year, by the way, for his uh role
in the studio.
Speaker 3 (50:00):
I think he'll give you a mean sky shout out.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Probably he'll.
Speaker 3 (50:06):
Really hard. I'll give you credit. You really are.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
But Franks is twenty one Jump Street so much.
Speaker 3 (50:12):
So that you put out your delicious guy's best listen
in Hollywood, and he always makes honorable mentions.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
Always here, almost there he does, even though he did nothing.
He does have a new movie coming out, and if
she wins, so will Dave.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
If Franco cracks, Franco wins an Emmy, how could I
not put him at better come on the show?
Speaker 3 (50:33):
How could I not put him a number ten? Will
you like accept the award?
Speaker 1 (50:36):
Live?
Speaker 5 (50:36):
Think that'd be so cool.
Speaker 8 (50:38):
I think if anybody ever gets back to Okay, well,
you are supposed to follow up here?
Speaker 1 (50:43):
Did you follow up? Zero?
Speaker 6 (50:45):
I did to follow up.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
I know my girl. I know my girl.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
I love her, no chants, there's no follow up, there
is no did right.
Speaker 3 (50:58):
I love my girl to death, but I know her
so well.
Speaker 6 (51:01):
Yeah, did you reach out?
Speaker 3 (51:02):
That is like right out.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
You're the one where it takes.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
She's the one that said she would do it, and
then you and then not only did you say you
would do it, you challenged Eddie and said you could
get him on.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
I will admit I did nothing, but I admit it.
She's never gonna admit it.
Speaker 6 (51:20):
I did things.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
Yeah, but you just lied.
Speaker 3 (51:24):
You absolutely did not.
Speaker 1 (51:27):
I can't looked. I did.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
I love this straight to my face. That's so crazy. Okay, wait,
so you haven't done it. You're gonna fall now?
Speaker 6 (51:42):
No, I followed up, I'll show you later, show you
right now.
Speaker 1 (51:46):
In the day. Go ahead, just.
Speaker 7 (51:50):
Hoping as you can hear so many memorable moments around
Comic Con. D Frank, somebody has put out the rankings,
and this is what they say are the top ten moments.
Number ten was in twenty eleven when they were in
the Spider Man panel and all of a sudden, somebody
(52:11):
dressed in a full Spider Man cost the.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
Andrew Garfield Did I just ruin that?
Speaker 3 (52:17):
Why would you let her say it?
Speaker 1 (52:19):
I mean I would have led with that if I wanted.
Did you letter say it? Was so crazy about to
say it?
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Well, then did you let it finish it and then you
could weigh in.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
Youd you like to think support you? Were you? Sorry?
Speaker 9 (52:36):
You?
Speaker 1 (52:38):
Everyone knew you a brother?
Speaker 3 (52:39):
I mean I had no I was on the edge
of my seat.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
I did follow up.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
No distrack over.
Speaker 1 (52:48):
So yes, you guys.
Speaker 7 (52:49):
Turns out in the Spider Man costume, it was actually Andrew.
Speaker 5 (52:56):
Number ten.
Speaker 7 (52:57):
Number nine was in twenty when Josh Wheaton and JJ
Abrams shared a panel.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
I guess it was like a.
Speaker 7 (53:05):
Nerd dream, so you know that talked about the Avengers movie,
the Star Trek reboot. Number eight Best Comic Con memory
from the con Ryan Reynolds delivering the Green Lantern Oath
in twenty ten.
Speaker 5 (53:20):
I guess a fan.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
Got up movie and asked if.
Speaker 7 (53:23):
He could recite the oath, and he got up and
did the full thing in front of everybody.
Speaker 5 (53:28):
Everybody, Okay, yeah.
Speaker 7 (53:33):
Number seven comic con moment is one of the earliest
moments from nineteen seventy six. When we were doing this,
two men got up and they were comic writers and artists,
and they said, we've been doing still images for an
upcoming movie called Star Wars, and.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
So it yes.
Speaker 7 (53:53):
When Star Wars was first seventy six, coming in number
six and fifteen. It was Star Wars The Force Awakens
when at the end of the panel, JJ Abrams walked
the entire audience across the street to watch the Force
Awakens concert.
Speaker 5 (54:13):
With you know, the symphony, the whole thing. Yeah, that
was pretty cool.
Speaker 7 (54:17):
Number five in two thousand and seven, the Dark Night
Takes Over. There was this massive viral marketing campaign, so
it wasn't even a panel. There was like scavenger hunts
and Harvey Dent protests.
Speaker 3 (54:29):
And all that.
Speaker 7 (54:31):
Yeah, so they say it was like one of the
best ever marketing campaigns of all time. Number four twenty ten,
when Samuel L. Jackson assembles the Avengers on stage for
the first time.
Speaker 5 (54:46):
Yeah, that was pretty huge.
Speaker 7 (54:49):
Number three is when in two thousand and six, Kevin
fig teases the idea of the MCU. Prior to that,
there was just talk about an upcoming Iron Man on movie,
and then the nerds were like, will we ever get
the Avengers? Will you ever put them together? And that's
when he says, well there's potential there.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (55:09):
Number two best comic con moment when the first Iron
Man trailer premiered in two thousand and seven, Jon Favreau
had a tiny bit of test footage and shared it
with the audience and everybody went crazy. Man and coming
in ranked as the number one most memorable Comic Con
moment in twenty thirteen, when Loki commanded haul H to
(55:35):
kneel at his presence.
Speaker 3 (55:37):
That was a pretty big deal. I remember that.
Speaker 1 (55:39):
Yeah, that went viral. Yeah, I definitely nothing.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
Andrew Garfield nothing or as Emily's follow up so many
times straight and then like seriously looked at me like no,
I followed him.
Speaker 3 (55:54):
Yeah, that was fantastic. All right, guys, are you guys ready?
Speaker 6 (56:00):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (56:01):
My newest top ten is about to drop now. This
is obviously cool one with him just retiring my top
ten Ozzy Osbourne songs are happening when we get back
on the show, I'll rock with a five to three
three days grace on the show, It's rock with five three.
(56:22):
So this is going to be a good one, you guys.
After the big concert that went down after his final performance,
I think this is fitting. It is time for my
latest top ten. It's about to happen.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
Would you say, would you say that you agree?
Speaker 3 (56:42):
Or are you pissed?
Speaker 4 (56:44):
You're gonna hear now, you're gonna hear now Eddie's top
ten list.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
And he's top ten list. Wonderful. Yes, this is going
to be great. I'm very excited about this one because
it is top ten Ozzy Osbourne songs. Now, you may
have some questions. I do.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
I immediately have some.
Speaker 3 (57:11):
Questions, Thank you very much, guy. Yes, uh, these are
Azsy solo songs. Oh no, Black Sabbath?
Speaker 1 (57:19):
Okay, what about duets?
Speaker 3 (57:21):
No duet? You know I don't do duets. Come on, skuy,
Oh don't you know my top tens right now?
Speaker 7 (57:26):
I know?
Speaker 5 (57:26):
But I really in this case, I was really hoping you.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
Just let that do it?
Speaker 3 (57:31):
You just like that one? No, it would be in there.
I like that song, But no solo Azzy Black Sabbath.
I can do a whole separate list, so not really
even worried about that. So this is solo Azzy. Of course,
after his retirement show, it was a big deal. I
don't I don't even know how they picked the certain
(57:52):
songs that they did because he didn't do a ton
because obviously he can't really anymore. But I have an
affinity for Ozzy, got to meet him, got to interview him,
got to hang out with him, a little bit, which
was pretty wild. That was back in like twenty nineteen
or something like that. It was like right before COVID.
I just remember that, which was crazy. So it was
twenty twenty, I guess.
Speaker 1 (58:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:11):
So anyway, Ozzy, obviously the legend coming up with the
ten songs was a little bit tricky because then I
would like listen to them and I go, oh, I
really liked that one. But then there was some that
were tougher. I don't know, this is gonna be interesting.
Speaker 5 (58:27):
A quick question.
Speaker 7 (58:27):
So, I know You've always loved Ozzy's music but it's darkness, yes,
But after you got to actually sit with him and
like chat with him, did your affinity for him grow?
Speaker 1 (58:38):
Of course?
Speaker 3 (58:39):
Okay, Well, and it was really interesting too because that
interview we broke down his whole catalog. Yeah, And so
I would ask him, like, all right, tell me about
whatever bark at the Moon, and he would tell me
the story behind it and like the history of it
and like why he wrote that song and blubblah. I mean,
I couldn't understand half of what he said. But I
was also like, I was like really trying to pay attention.
(59:01):
But I do know a little bit more about like
the songs because of that. So yeah, it did make
me appreciate his catalog even more. So here we go
Top ten solo Ozzy Osbourne songs. All right, Now, some
of these ones in the beginning you you may know,
but they're not like the crazy hits, but you may
(59:23):
recognize them eventually because this one at ten. It's tough
because I really liked this song, but it wasn't one
of the like his giant hits. But it is really good.
Here it is kicking off at number ten. I don't know,
(59:46):
so I don't I don't know. No, I don't know.
It's called I don't know. Yeah, this is just a
kick ass rock song.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
Love.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
It sounds exactly like Ossie right Yeah, the riff, the song,
I mean, all of it is just fantastic. So this
is one of the better ones that I was like, oh,
how could that be ten? Like, that's tough, but I
mean the ones that are above this are classics. Yeah,
it's a little tricky.
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
This is a good one for me.
Speaker 7 (01:00:18):
I like this one a lot because it doesn't have
some of the songs because we've worked in rock radio
for so long.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
Fear factor.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
Yeah, yeah, I get that. I get that I really
like it. Yeah, no, yeah, when you listen to it,
you're like, Okay, that's really good. I don't know, all right.
Coming in as my number nine Ozzy Osbourne song is.
Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
Mountain.
Speaker 3 (01:00:47):
Another again all assy songs until you get to like
the kind of ballads are sort of similar, especially now
that I'm listening to them back to back and I'm like, oh,
that's sounding like yeah kind of. But this is just
another kick ass jam song I've always liked. Again, I
when I was listening to it, I was like, yeah,
(01:01:07):
this should be higher, and then I'm like, ah, but
what am I gonna replace it with? So coming in
Number nine is over the Mountain. I think that's a
solid spot. Now number eight, this is again you're getting
into more probably familiar territory for you know you cheer
Cheerry Ozsie fans. Coming in as my number eight Ozzy
Osbourne song is a little different sound, very different, a
(01:01:32):
little different sound, a little different sound. Shot in the Dog.
Oh yes, this is this is a good song. I
I now listen to it, I'm like, well, did I
like the other ones more? But then when yesterday when
I was putting it together, I like this, I'm all
over the place with my Ausie love. This is wildly different.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
So again you're gonna hear the evolution of Ozzie two
in some of these songs. But this is a cool song.
This is this is a cool song. So I like
Shot in the Dark number later eight, kid, I wish
all right now at number seven, this could be controversial
(01:02:16):
for like old school Ausie fans because this is one
of his newer songs, a song that came out just
a few years ago, coming in as my number seven
Ozzie song.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Song.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
We played here rocking fact under the Graveyard when he
put this out. You know, you never know when an
older artist puts out a new song, kind of like whatever,
this is classic Ozzie, and I loved it. I thought
it was great, yeah, and so we played it a
lot and I really enjoyed it, and I really liked it,
and so much so that it's coming in at number seven.
Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
For a little close my Eyes Forever vine.
Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
Some bad you want this song, it's not gonna happen.
I'm just realizing now there's no there's no similarity.
Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
I like this song more.
Speaker 5 (01:03:07):
Thank you for saying that's guy?
Speaker 6 (01:03:09):
Is that the due? She was talking about earlier.
Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
Okay, she just wants it so badly.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
Now.
Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
The next six are all giant classic songs and could
be sort of in any order. But this is what
I ended up with coming in as my number six.
Ozzy Osbourne song, is.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
That sounds good?
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
This guy says this sounds good? Tools that sounds that
they've got that baseline well, No More Tears, but you
know it's yeah, that's this is a jam. I love
this Ozzy Osbourne song No More Tears Again. You're gonna
hear all kinds of different versions of Ozzy. This is
(01:03:54):
like that, you know, almost slower assist.
Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
Artist, gonna be fop like that, don't different versions.
Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
It's incredible when people just want the same thing over
and over and over, like an artist should he.
Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Well then and listen to how he sounds in Black Sabbath.
It's it's wildly different because a great artist. Yes, yeah, legend.
Remember when Sky thought he shouldn't have been in the
Hall of Fame.
Speaker 7 (01:04:13):
I didn't say that. I just don't think he was
going to. And then like I didn't say he didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:04:20):
Can you hear these songs? You're like that?
Speaker 5 (01:04:22):
The hell I ended up taking a whoop cream pie
to the face.
Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Yeah, deservedly so.
Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
I don't think we need to.
Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
I think Ozzie would have loved to have thrown the pie.
No more tears. Great song, all right, Top five categories
now our top five territory should say, coming in as
my number five Ozzy Osbourne song is their way go?
(01:04:50):
Oh yeah, Flying High again? What did you think he's
talking about?
Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
Tell you yeah, maybe being in an airplace was bad?
Speaker 6 (01:05:01):
It makes that sounds okay?
Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
Yeah, no, Flying High again? Another kick ass song from Ozzy.
Guy just pumping out the hits. Yeah, this is a
great one. You know, should be higher. We'll just wait,
calm down, calm down, just wait.
Speaker 7 (01:05:15):
And when you get to these all these assye hits,
I feel like every one of them should be in
some sort of movie, you know what.
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
I mean, Like on a movie soundtrack. I feel like
this is a great movie soundtrack song.
Speaker 7 (01:05:25):
What No, I don't know, Like I feel like when
a bunch of people are like partying and they're rushing
somewhere I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Eighties talking about it, getting ready to go out.
Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Okay, I'm a bit old.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
The hell are you talking? All right? Flying I again?
Coming in at number five. Here we Go, coming in
as my number four Ozzy Osbourne song is horror movies guy.
Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Oh yeah, is.
Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
It about mister Crowley?
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Sure is he's so crapy.
Speaker 3 (01:05:55):
Oh he's the best. Yes, former principal, mister Crowley. Now
mister Crowley, A guess this is a classic Auzzie song.
Massive song. At that concert he did, Jack Black performed
this song. It was great. But yeah, this is this
is great, great Ozzy Osbourne song coming in at number four,
(01:06:18):
mister Crowley, all right, this song at number three was
one that people couldn't get over because it was so
different for Ozzy Osbourne. Coming in as my number three
Ozzy Osbourne song, is I know right?
Speaker 10 (01:06:39):
Like?
Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
Is this born.
Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
A slow ballad from Ozzie ballad Mama I'm Coming Home.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
I'm not a ballad guy.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
But this one though, come on, dude, you don't like
to sing.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
No I do. I'm just not a ballad.
Speaker 3 (01:06:53):
This is gorgeous.
Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
I don't like I don't like feelings.
Speaker 3 (01:06:58):
Some issues there.
Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Does he sing like this?
Speaker 5 (01:07:01):
But we can't understand when he does.
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
It's one of those things. It's one of those things.
It doesn't make any sense. But yeah, come on, Mama,
I'm coming home. Unbelievable. Not only number three though, Eddie.
Speaker 8 (01:07:13):
I kind of thought you hadn't hired Ballance.
Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
He does the next two though, there's no question these
two songs, uh, there are the best Ozzy Osbourne songs
out there.
Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
Number two Ozzy Osbourne song is Oh fuck at the Moon.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
You to yes this. If this doesn't fire you up,
you got no soul like come on but feelings oh yeah,
wow yeah. He doesn't like to feel feeling. He has feelings,
but this one. This is a workout song. This is
a workout.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Upbeat songs, upbeat like you know, kick ass, we're angry an.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
I think that's like sad and like it doesn't do
it for sadness. Wo there go. This is like I'm
warming up, but now are you ready to fully to
your pump? If you're ready to get your full pump on,
this is the number one Ozzy Osbourne saying you probably
(01:08:22):
figured it out by now. You hear it in every
NFL stadium.
Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
Yeah, let's kick it off.
Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Like the five songs they play in every stadium. Sing
this song and they're Sandman and then like.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
A N A c DC. Those are the three they
played the stadium. I mean, no doubt about it. Crazy
Train is the number one of all time. So Chargers
played this.
Speaker 3 (01:08:49):
Oh yeah, every kickoff, every single kickoff. Yeah, this was great.
Obviously this is I think this is a song. Ousie
ended with I think this might be his final song.
I don't remember, but but I mean it is number one.
He knew it was going to be number one on
my list, that's why.
Speaker 8 (01:09:04):
Yeah, and you're still not sick of it after play
it all these years.
Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
It doesn't have that factor for me. You hear that,
you're like, what here you go? Like, I'm up, I'm ready,
here we go, I'm awake. Let's do this. So there
you go. Those are my top ten solo Ozzy Osbourne
songs of all time.
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
We have heard about Emily's sweet new above Ground pool
that she got a big summer fun got going on there. Well,
this is not good for you, Emily. We're gonna hear
what is going on with above ground Pools.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
That's not great. Coming up next to the show A
rock on a five three Sublime on the show last.
Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
Sorry, Wow, this is pretty cool. Got big news. It
looks like our partners at the Global Citizen have just
revealed the lineup for the twenty twenty five Global Citizen Festival,
which is returning to Central Park on September twenty seventh.
Headlining this year the Weekend and Shakira Shakira. Yeah yeah,
(01:10:15):
that's pretty big deal. Of course, hosted by Global Citizen
Ambassador Hugh Jackman Ooverine. That's pretty awesome. So the festival
is pretty amazing. They're going to rally action to bring
energy access to one million people across Africa, all kinds
of rainforest stuff. It's really really great. Tickets are free,
(01:10:36):
but you got to take action if you want to
earn them, so download the Global Citizen app or visit
Global Citizen Festival dot com to get started. Of course,
we are partners here with the exclusive US audio partner
for the Global Citizen Festival, so definitely go look into that.
We have heard about Emily's new purchase, which is in
(01:10:56):
a brough above ground pool. Yes, now you may be think, wow,
a pretty big deal. You have to see this thing.
It's like six feet.
Speaker 6 (01:11:03):
It's nine nine six. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:11:06):
I didn't think I said anything wrong. It's basically a
large bathtub. How deep were.
Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
You on Amazon to purchase something like this, because who
would think above with the purchasing above ground pool on Amazon?
So you must be just deep on there, right.
Speaker 6 (01:11:20):
No, I went seeking it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
Oh you searched it.
Speaker 6 (01:11:22):
I went seeking it.
Speaker 8 (01:11:24):
We had a fifteen foot round above ground pool probably
ten years ago maybe less.
Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
What happened to it?
Speaker 8 (01:11:29):
It was up for one summer, had a blast in
that thing, and it started to get.
Speaker 6 (01:11:34):
Green once again the summer care of it. Yeah, we
just took it down, just shock the water. I did.
Speaker 8 (01:11:39):
I used, I was shocking it, but we let it
sit once the water once it started getting colder outside.
Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
Does this surprise anyone?
Speaker 6 (01:11:46):
So we drained that bad boy out and tossed that thing.
Speaker 7 (01:11:49):
What's the play on for this bad boy once winter
hits to not have it go green?
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Is there a plan?
Speaker 8 (01:11:54):
The plan is to just drain it and if it's
easily easy to fold up and put in our shed,
then to drain it and put it in the shed
for next summer or drained it was one hundred and
seventy five bucks and then the filters and stuff. So
like you know, yeah it all summer. You've got your money.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
So I haven't heard you recently getting in there though.
It's just been too busy here.
Speaker 6 (01:12:17):
I've just been a little too busy.
Speaker 8 (01:12:19):
I plan on going on it this weekend, but I
have been cleaning it and stuff. I got a little
handheld vacuum. There's a pool filter on it. I got
some shock that I did, and I do, like you
next for a pool. We have a cover for it.
My son's in it a lot. He goes in and
almost every single day. Because there's a jakoozie behind it.
He goes back and forth.
Speaker 6 (01:12:37):
Oh so he's enjoying it.
Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
You, Uh, not so much?
Speaker 6 (01:12:42):
So no I will. I went in it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
We don't need to be defensive. You don't need to
be defensive.
Speaker 5 (01:12:48):
How do you get in that bad boy? Is there
like a ladder?
Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Get in there?
Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
Make a jump?
Speaker 8 (01:12:54):
I mean I could just walk over it. I got
kind of long legs though, But it's not that bad.
It's not that hard to get into the sky.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Looks how deep is it looks like a bathtub.
Speaker 8 (01:13:02):
It's it's about thirty six inches high, so three feet
so about three three and a half feet high.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
It looks way bigger in the picture.
Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
It does in the picture. I was it's all about
the angle bro, I believe you bought something like this.
Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
How about the pool toys? That makes no sense.
Speaker 8 (01:13:18):
You can floating there, Robert and I did float in
there like two weeks ago, and floating there at the
White Claw, it felt really good.
Speaker 5 (01:13:25):
Okay, do you just keep jumping into each other.
Speaker 3 (01:13:28):
Though your legs have to be in the opposite ends,
because than.
Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
You think when you put two people in there. Okay,
like it's not it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:35):
I love that you described as it was cool.
Speaker 6 (01:13:39):
Is it going like.
Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
Like like you had some real plan. You're in the
grotto at the playbound. Yeah, it doesn't take much too
so no, I know.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
We can we can see. Well, I got some bad
news for you.
Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
What.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
I don't mean to kill your summertime fun here, but
apparently there's some issues with above ground pools.
Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:13:59):
A big note came out yesterday that over five million
above ground swimming pool sold in the US and Canada
from two thousand and two all the way up until
this year twenty twenty five are being recalled.
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
You need to go back to that truck bed pool.
That was where that was where life was real good.
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
That was good time. Oh that was great.
Speaker 10 (01:14:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:14:25):
Now I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:14:26):
Emily if your pool is part of the recall or
not sure it is. A Consumer Product Safety Commission has
a list of.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
Commissioner was like, no one ever.
Speaker 7 (01:14:39):
Yeah, I guess the whole thing has to do is
with the braces on the side of it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
So I'm like, nothing on earth would be funnier to
me than Emily in this pool in a float, with
the pool just going through that collapsing, that.
Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
Would be the fun You run the camera on.
Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
The funniest thing ever.
Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
I'm watching her freak out and be dramatic, slipping everywhere,
blaming Robert for some reason.
Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
Floods kitchen.
Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
Yeah, fldsdel not be funny.
Speaker 3 (01:15:19):
How has read not broken that thing?
Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
Seriously? How are those ones still standing?
Speaker 6 (01:15:25):
He went in at once with his friend and I
was sitting back there.
Speaker 8 (01:15:27):
That was took a lot of watch yourself, knock it off,
get that lot of there, because you guys are being
too rough in the pool. So since then he hasn't
been in there with a friend, so I think when
he's there by himself, he just chosen the floating.
Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
Okay, but when a friend comes over, it comes over.
Good luck comes over. Yeah, Yeah, Well, I guess it
all has to do with the supports around the side,
because I put this together myself.
Speaker 1 (01:15:53):
A lot of the models.
Speaker 7 (01:15:54):
Now it doesn't look like Emily's is one of the models,
but you definitely want to check the list and check
the ones that will won't recall.
Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
She won't at all.
Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
All together, probably.
Speaker 6 (01:16:06):
Like an hour and a half putting it together.
Speaker 1 (01:16:09):
That's actually.
Speaker 6 (01:16:12):
No, it wasn't too hard.
Speaker 8 (01:16:13):
The directions were pretty easy, so it was it was
like pretty like just connect, connect, connect, You're good.
Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
Here's what we would be. The good news for you, though,
is if it did get recalled, use it up for
the summer, and then turn it back in, get your money,
get a refine.
Speaker 7 (01:16:27):
Yeah well, yess the thing about this recall you don't
get a new one.
Speaker 5 (01:16:34):
They send Joe repair kit, so.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
There's some money. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:16:42):
Well, the deal is if you have an above ground
pool where the supports around the side have like a
little brace around them, I guess the deal with that is,
you know kids, the pool's tall enough so little kids
can't get in there and you know, not get out right.
But with those braces the way it's designed, kids can
(01:17:02):
stand on them as a step and it then they
can get in the pool. So there have been some
really bad accidents with little kids, and that's why they're recalling.
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Million pools. Not good enough to have that brace.
Speaker 6 (01:17:18):
It's nice though.
Speaker 8 (01:17:19):
There is little things in the corner that are bigger
than what you see in a photo I put on Instagram,
and it's big enough to put like a cell phone
in a beverage. Oh so that might be what they're
talking about, because it's this little flat part in the quarners.
Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
Yeah, so you can get in there to get that
bluetooth gone.
Speaker 3 (01:17:34):
Yeah, yeah, it's cool. Fourteen class it's great. Yeah, super
nice there, I mean I said fourteen fourteen. Come on,
it's a weekday. Well, speaking of summertime fun, we have
all been to the beach, right and you've probably seen
(01:17:55):
some things that will annoy you. Well, maybe you do
it yourself. If we're gonna go over the top bad
beach behaviors we see when we get back on the show,
I'd rock with a five to three jet on the show,
it's rock one O five to three. Now put yourself
(01:18:16):
in this situation, thor you and your wife. You decide
you're gonna go down to the beach. Of course you
have your beach chair.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
Yeah, Saturday going.
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
Yeah, you set it up, you sit down, you're you know,
enjoying a nice, peaceful gaze out at the ocean. Best
when a woman comes over with her rambunctious son and
her older gentleman lover and just starts blasting her tunes,
how would you feel?
Speaker 2 (01:18:44):
Pretty annoyed? Yeah, it sucks, and I would do a
lot of I would do be visibly, annoyed visibly, and
then I would do I would stare and hope that
they see me. Go, you need to get the hint. Yeah,
but people like this I don't care, unfortunately, because they
think they think they could.
Speaker 1 (01:19:04):
Do whatever they want in the world, and everyone owes them.
So I would get up and move.
Speaker 3 (01:19:09):
Oh wow, driving you away? It would drive me away.
Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
I go to another port on the beach because I'm sorry,
I don't want to hear iration.
Speaker 5 (01:19:15):
Oh that was very specific, efect perfect beach music.
Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
I don't want any beach music. I just want to
hear the ocean too.
Speaker 6 (01:19:23):
Well, you know, it's just a little background music.
Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Okay, So then I start, I'll start blasting music that
they might not music off.
Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
That's what I wow.
Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
That's another thing that wow.
Speaker 6 (01:19:34):
Somebody used to chill out.
Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
Well, yes, that could happen.
Speaker 10 (01:19:39):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:19:39):
You know, when you go down the beach, there's all
kinds of wacky stuff that we can see where they've
put together the top things you'll see that are kind
of bad beach behaviors.
Speaker 7 (01:19:49):
Yeah, they did a study about it, and of course
the majority of us, pretty much everybody said, yeah, I
hate when people do stuff. I hate when people aren't considerate.
I hate when these things happen. But then they went
on to ask, well, is there anything you do at
the beach that you know probably isn't the best, And
that's when ninety two percent of people had an answer, Well,
(01:20:11):
I do do this one thing I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
I hate when people also sit directly in front of you.
They see you sitting there, you're you have a good view,
and then they just come directly in front of you.
I would never do that to somebody. If anything, I'll
go alot to the side. I'm still see.
Speaker 6 (01:20:27):
Yeah, mine's like the similar.
Speaker 8 (01:20:28):
Like I was just going to say that, like when
somebody sits very close to me, even if it's not
in front of me, but if there's a lot of
space at the beach and there they put their towel
three two feet away.
Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
But right there?
Speaker 6 (01:20:38):
What But there's space, every space. There's no close as
I mean, there's a space. But but I'm here, this
is my air.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
I don't on the beach. You don't.
Speaker 6 (01:20:50):
I don't think I do. But yeah, common there's places.
Speaker 2 (01:20:55):
I agree. The problem is people. People are problem no
kidding people, I would say.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
But you're a person.
Speaker 5 (01:21:05):
Do you remedy this?
Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
People don't get people.
Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
People don't like rules. Man, there's rules, unwritten rules.
Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Wow man, wowach meltdown tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:21:18):
Now I'm good.
Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
So even though we hate all this, you.
Speaker 3 (01:21:21):
Already done it.
Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
Probably I could do.
Speaker 3 (01:21:24):
Okay, a good one.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
You can't.
Speaker 7 (01:21:31):
Well, ninety percent of us say we do have a
bad beach habit, And they said, okay, we'll name it.
Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
So here are the top ten. Number ten.
Speaker 7 (01:21:40):
It was just named sitting too close to somebody else.
People admit that if that's a good spot, even if
I'm practically on top of someone.
Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
I don't want to hear your conversation. You want to
hear my conversation.
Speaker 8 (01:21:52):
God, I can't. I can't handle if somebody does that,
like I can't, I have to get.
Speaker 6 (01:21:56):
Up and move. I'll get up and move everything. Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
Number nine.
Speaker 7 (01:22:00):
Bad thing that people admit doing at the beach feeding
the wild life, the seagulls, and then they're everywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
There's one psychopath that tries to hold the seagulls.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
That is a psychopath. Move his wife, communicate with animals.
Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
Wow, okay, okay.
Speaker 7 (01:22:19):
Number eight thing people say loops, I may do this
smoking or vaping at the beach.
Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
Yea, even even if you're drunk.
Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
I don't want I don't want to see it.
Speaker 3 (01:22:33):
You floated right, yes, bro bro.
Speaker 7 (01:22:47):
Seventh thing people admit to doing is glittering at the beach.
Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
That sucks your stuff up.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
Number six not picking up after their pets at the beach.
Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
That is so bad, so bad. Number five.
Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
Number five is Emily and her loud music.
Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
Now I know how to get her to move.
Speaker 8 (01:23:12):
Just sit next to you, man, hell yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:23:19):
Number four bad beach behaviors Americans have been doing is
taking too long in the beach facilities.
Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Yeah. I know.
Speaker 7 (01:23:26):
At Los Street Beach there's like a foot wash, and
I mean, come on, you're not taking an entire shower.
Just rinse off your feet and go. Okay, I don't
want to wait here forever. Sorry, Sorry, it's not meant
for an entire shower.
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
It's to rinse offet.
Speaker 7 (01:23:43):
Number three bad behavior Americans have been doing is taking
sand or shells from beaches where you're not allowed to.
Lots of people don't know that. There are many beaches
where you're not supposed to take the shells. I do,
but there are specific beaches I'm not going. Yeah, yes,
drift wood check really Okay, it's food is school bro?
Speaker 1 (01:24:05):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:24:05):
Come on, I mean a.
Speaker 3 (01:24:06):
Whole no one.
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
Driftwood is cool bro.
Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:24:12):
And the top two bad beach behaviors Americans have been doing,
with more than fifty percent of people doing these two things.
Number two is bringing booze to the beach when you
know it's banned.
Speaker 1 (01:24:24):
That's so business business. Draining a white cloth in a
water bottle.
Speaker 7 (01:24:35):
And the number one thing that's seventy percent of Americans say,
I know this is frowned upon, but sorry I do
it is going number one in the ocean.
Speaker 3 (01:24:46):
You can do that.
Speaker 1 (01:24:47):
Well, it's the world's toilet are you talking about? You
absolutely can do that. Go out of your mind.
Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
Here are there sitcom characters that you used to watch
or now watch that you just were like, I can't
stand that character. I hate that character. We're gonna see
who has been named as the most annoying and most
hated sitcom characters of all time? Coming out next on
the show, I'll rock with a five to three. That's
(01:25:16):
Nerveana on the show. It's rock one O five to three.
All right, Boom, would like to go see Creed in concert?
This is like the hottest ticket in town right now. Yeah,
Creed coming back to town August six, and if you want
to go check them out, you can give us a
call right now eight seven seven five seven one five three,
(01:25:36):
and we're gonna hook Kip with some tickets to go
see Creed. We have tickets to give away all week
long to go see Creed.
Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
My wife is mad at me because we're gonna be
out of town unfortunately, me and the show. But my
wife is going to the Creed show. Oh she's going, and.
Speaker 1 (01:25:52):
She's going with her arms right up, she's going right
open high, and she doesn't know who to take.
Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
I said, take Jamie. Ever met Jamie, okay, because Jamie
loves all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
You know, well, he does love that.
Speaker 3 (01:26:05):
He's already going. J was already going, yeah. Sorry, she
has friends, a lot of friends. So this is very
interesting if you watch certain shows and you're like, I
really like the show, but there's that one character. I
(01:26:26):
cannot stand that character. Why is his character even on
the show. I could ruin the entire show for you.
Maybe they're meant to be annoying, like Newman from Seinfeld.
Speaker 1 (01:26:35):
He's meant to be annoying, but he's but he was
also kind of I liked Newman, you know what I mean,
even though like you hated him, but you liked him,
you know.
Speaker 2 (01:26:45):
I The only character where I've ever watched the show
where I hated it and I couldn't even watch it
was Emily watches the show White Lotus, and it was
the first season of White Lotus, and it was Sidney
Sweeney's character.
Speaker 1 (01:26:58):
It was so.
Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Unrealistic, so bad. I don't get I didn't get it,
and people love this show.
Speaker 6 (01:27:04):
She bothered me.
Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
She's hot, but I just thought it was so ridiculous,
to the point where I couldn't watch the show anymore.
It bothered me that much.
Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
These are sitcoms.
Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
Always said sitcoms, there's funniness and fair enough.
Speaker 5 (01:27:25):
Yeah for me, I used to love the show. How
I met your mother.
Speaker 7 (01:27:29):
But Barney Neil Patrick Harris like that.
Speaker 5 (01:27:33):
I know he's supposed to be like that, but I hate.
Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
That guy, you know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (01:27:37):
So even though that's supposed to be your character, I
get it, but like, I hate that guy to the
point where, like I would get distracted during the show.
I'd be like, in real life, these people wouldn't be
friends with that guy, Like who would say that? So
it would take me out of the show to the
point where I didn't enjoy the show as much.
Speaker 5 (01:27:54):
I'm sorry, Yeah, sorry, Patrick Harris.
Speaker 3 (01:27:57):
Well, this became an entire thread of the most hate
and annoying sitcom characters of all time.
Speaker 6 (01:28:02):
Yes, Sex and the City a sitcom.
Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
That's the tricky one.
Speaker 6 (01:28:07):
Yeah, somebody that I can't stand.
Speaker 3 (01:28:09):
It's an hour mostly combs are thirty.
Speaker 6 (01:28:11):
Thirty minutes of Sex and the City.
Speaker 3 (01:28:13):
Actually the show, there's thirty.
Speaker 6 (01:28:17):
I didn't know you're questioning.
Speaker 7 (01:28:19):
I see he's pulling a sky on you right now,
giving you the look and then fingers to the keyboard.
Speaker 8 (01:28:25):
But anyway, I cannot stand and never have been able
to stand. Miranda like she bothers me. There's like four characters.
That's to the point I'd stopped watching it because I
see what she adds to it. But the way that
she dresses her demeanor, she's kind of an a hole
to a lot of different people.
Speaker 1 (01:28:38):
She thinks she's better, which was Miranda the Redhead red
Head Oh.
Speaker 8 (01:28:43):
Now Nixon who now is a lesbian in the series,
a lesbian alcoholic.
Speaker 3 (01:28:47):
Oh, just like that. You don't need to yell out spoilers.
Speaker 1 (01:28:53):
My wife.
Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
Sometimes we love Curb your Enthusiasm.
Speaker 1 (01:28:57):
I love it. But sometimes the stuff Larry does and
makes her so uncomfortable. She's like, I can't watch It's well,
she's married, delirious, what would make her uncomfortable. I'm just
like Larry, you are him to a t.
Speaker 5 (01:29:09):
Well, she can't turn the floor off, but she can turn.
Speaker 1 (01:29:12):
Why I want to take something.
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
Yeah, Larry will do something and I'll love it, of course.
Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
But I mean Larry does horrible things.
Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
Like what I mean time he picked up flowers from
his friend's mom, got his mom's friend and a car
accident and died, so he took flowers from the memorial
service and gave to his things like that. Things like that.
Speaker 3 (01:29:39):
Hysterical.
Speaker 1 (01:29:41):
So yeah, there's a whole thread that's gone viral.
Speaker 7 (01:29:43):
And here are some of the names that came up
multiple times from Full House.
Speaker 5 (01:29:49):
Kimmy Gibbler.
Speaker 7 (01:29:52):
They said her neediness and inability to take a hint
were so awkward that like it was hard to walk
cut it out.
Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:30:02):
When she barges open that kitchen doorsos, oh man.
Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
That was doesn't think they're her friends?
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
You thought that was funny.
Speaker 3 (01:30:13):
Later, she's dying. She's dying.
Speaker 1 (01:30:15):
What we were talking about her enthusiasm level? What's the problem.
Speaker 6 (01:30:21):
What's the problem today?
Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
Where's mercy rules at this house?
Speaker 3 (01:30:26):
And you can't knock?
Speaker 10 (01:30:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:30:28):
Yeah, what I don't understand that about sitcoms. Why are
people just allowed to walk into a house flying in
the house?
Speaker 7 (01:30:34):
Yeah, like so stupid places no no, also doors locked? Okay,
also making the list from that seventy show. Now, this
is at the very end when Tofer Grace left and
they brought in like his cousin Randy.
Speaker 2 (01:30:51):
Remember I was gonna say just now, yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:30:57):
I can't recall the actor's name. I remember his face
from your face.
Speaker 10 (01:31:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:31:01):
Yeah, but people were like, give me a break, like,
we see what you're doing here, stop it?
Speaker 3 (01:31:05):
Yeah his cousin, Yeah, so dumb.
Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
The show.
Speaker 7 (01:31:09):
Seriously, Jill from Home Improvement people were not a fan
of They say she left any sort of joy and
she was like basically a joy fortune.
Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
I mean who she's married to. He's an idiot.
Speaker 6 (01:31:24):
That's a good point though.
Speaker 7 (01:31:27):
The threat of boast hated sitcom characters from Married with children.
Speaker 5 (01:31:32):
When they brought seven into the family, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:31:36):
That was a rough one. PEG's my cousin had a kid,
seven and they left the kid there with the Bundanes
and he became part of the phone.
Speaker 3 (01:31:46):
Did get too old?
Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
I guess it was.
Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
Like it was like mid mid series, so it was
still funny. There was no need for it. And then
Peg got pregnant and that was the whole thing. But
then she in real life lost the babies. They like
a whole dream sequence. It was like one of the
worst seasons. Yeah. I found a TV channel that shows Uhren.
I started watching on Cozy Network.
Speaker 6 (01:32:09):
We're going to start That's where that's weird.
Speaker 2 (01:32:13):
Of course, it's like all these nineties sitcoms from King
of Queens.
Speaker 7 (01:32:17):
People don't care for Doug. They say he is an annoying.
Speaker 1 (01:32:22):
Yeah, my mother in law can't watch King Queens because
she hates Doug hefforts and the worst and his wife
is like a massive b That's what makes it work,
That's why it's so funny.
Speaker 7 (01:32:39):
And the final comment getting multiple mentions on the thread
of most hated sitcom characters. We have principal building from
Saved by the Bell. Richard they say, Actually, Richard, they say,
once you realize this dude is obsessed with these kids
and follows them around and pokes his nose into them.
Speaker 5 (01:33:04):
But like, it's only this group, it's not other.
Speaker 3 (01:33:07):
We don't see it.
Speaker 1 (01:33:08):
It's like it's weird. It's kind of creepy. Do you
know that they brought in his brother Rod Belding episode.
Speaker 6 (01:33:15):
I know, to take him on the river rafting trip.
Speaker 8 (01:33:18):
You would say, excuse me, kind of an inappropriate relationship
with Kelly, and he's like a grown man.
Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
See, it's so weird. Okay.
Speaker 7 (01:33:33):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:33:34):
Philip Rivers is gonna go down as one of the
greatest charges of all time. So it may not surprise
you what he did, but it may surprise you of
the timing of it. We're gonna see what Philip had
to say yesterday that took some by surprise. Next to
sports Dirt andres have continued their road trips, starting a
(01:33:55):
series in Miami against the Marlins. Yesterday. Odds actually got
on the board first when Jackson Merrill singled home Xander
Bogarts in the second. Then he scored on our team
Maldonado double. And he actually ran through the third base
coaches stop sign game the full like no, no going.
Jackson said, I got this, and either he was safe. Yes,
(01:34:19):
he put you in the third base coaches pants. You're
on third base coach and you're putting up the stop sign.
Your runner runs right through it. What are your star players?
Runs right through it? He's safe.
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
What happens?
Speaker 3 (01:34:35):
It's tricky because because he's safe, I'm not as angry.
And so when I do the after game.
Speaker 1 (01:34:44):
Speech after game speech.
Speaker 3 (01:34:45):
No, no, because because we scored and we win like
the pods. Okay, uh, after game speech, there's a little
bit of a laughter to me. We're not doing that again, though, guys. Okay,
because if I give you a stop sign and you're out, man,
that's that's not good. Okay, guys, So that's uh, I'm
(01:35:09):
putting up a stop sign for a reason, So let's
not let's not do that again. But anyway, but oh,
are you talking? You want to come up here and
get the speach because I'm talking. Okay, but I'm talking.
You take that, okay, taking take a lot. We're getting there. Disrespectful, disrespectful,
(01:35:35):
little punk talking over. So, yes, the Padres were up
to Oh the only run the Marlin scored was a
solo shot by Alcoholm's own Kyle Stowers, who's having an
incredible year in the fourth. Uh So the game was
two to one, and you know what you do. Handed
over to the four Horsemen. They came in, closed the door.
(01:35:58):
Robert s Warez. We got to save in the ninth
before they two to one. Win another one run game.
I can't take it.
Speaker 6 (01:36:05):
No, it's too much, ein too much.
Speaker 3 (01:36:08):
I like that eight to one game we had the
other day. That was great. Could relax a little bit.
So Philip Rivers apparently made this official. I don't know
what's going on. He is officially retiring as a Charger.
Now we sort of knew this already. I don't know
what we're doing here, but Philip announced this and now
he's sort of been retired since twenty twenty when he
(01:36:28):
last played for the Colts. But he made an official
announcement yesterday that he was officially retiring as a Charger.
Speaker 9 (01:36:34):
I'm Philip Rivers quarterback, and I'm retiring a Charger. What
he lived every day? This the day's at Murphy Canyon
on the practice for them.
Speaker 8 (01:36:45):
What.
Speaker 1 (01:36:47):
Wow, Yeah, you missed those moments. Oh, you're gonna get
me going.
Speaker 9 (01:36:52):
I picture riding down that hill he went in Qualcoff,
you know, and he's just going, man, shoot, they're they're
fired up to that and seeing the flags and seeing them,
you know, smoke from the girls going and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:37:06):
Yeah, cooking up.
Speaker 9 (01:37:07):
See, I just never got old. You know, that never
got old. Dang, I didn't expect to get up coming
down that hill.
Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
Here this girl fake cane's popped the boob on the
side mirror.
Speaker 6 (01:37:23):
That did happen?
Speaker 8 (01:37:23):
I did you stop Charger season tickets? And I was
running to catch a kickoff. I had big fake boobs. Fortunately,
I've had a lot to drink, and I let the
mirror of a lifted cho.
Speaker 1 (01:37:35):
Clip me and take me out. No, No, what.
Speaker 3 (01:37:38):
Would you given to see that?
Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
I remember telling Katy about that.
Speaker 3 (01:37:50):
Hell did you see this.
Speaker 5 (01:37:51):
Girl even a gun?
Speaker 7 (01:37:56):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
Marty didn't know.
Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
What to say.
Speaker 3 (01:38:00):
Wow, that did happen, did happen?
Speaker 10 (01:38:03):
Any?
Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
Philip Rivers the best sports interview ever.
Speaker 3 (01:38:06):
Uh, he's up there, up there.
Speaker 7 (01:38:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:38:09):
He was phenomenal. I mean he just he wouldn't give
you just standard answers. He didn't speak in like sports talk.
He just talked from the heart curd Honestly, that was
one of the biggest pleasures of being able to do
these charges broadcast. Two guys were phenomenal players and human beings.
(01:38:30):
Obviously Philip and lt. Lt was one of the greatest
dudes I've ever met, and like, I just those two
guys and the fact that they never got to go
to the Super Bowl is one of the most devastating things.
It was just brutal, just brutal, but both phenomenal guys,
phenomenal players for sure. The Cowboys and their owner Jerry Jones,
(01:38:52):
they got some interesting negotiating tactics saga thing going on
right now, and of course Jerry is the GM and
the owner. While he was at a press conference yesterday
and proceeded to insult both of his star players. Now,
he was talking about Micah Parsons showing up but still
not having a long term contract. When he said this
about him and Dak Prescott.
Speaker 10 (01:39:13):
Just because we signed him doesn't mean we're going to
have him. He was hurt six games last year. Seriously,
we've signed I remember signing a player for the highest
paid at the position in the league and he got
knocked out two thirds of the year.
Speaker 3 (01:39:26):
Dak Prescott, I mean, why would you say that?
Speaker 10 (01:39:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:39:29):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (01:39:29):
There's your star players. I don't know what.
Speaker 2 (01:39:32):
Jerry's eighty two now.
Speaker 3 (01:39:33):
He's senile man. Yeah, and he's running the team.
Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
He's running.
Speaker 3 (01:39:36):
He's not good.
Speaker 1 (01:39:37):
Yeah, that's weird. I don't get it.
Speaker 3 (01:39:40):
You guys remember Rich Hill, Emily you may remember this guy.
He pitched for the Padres in twenty twenty three for
a short time, but he was old and Washington and
they ended up releasing him. Well yeah you did. They
needed just an arm and they were like, which Hill? Okay,
you know, well he's back what now, faithfully not the Pods. No,
(01:40:01):
he's now forty five and he's getting the call to
start for the Royals. What He has actually tied the
record for the most franchises played for at.
Speaker 1 (01:40:12):
Fourteen Oh my god, wow, forty five years old.
Speaker 3 (01:40:17):
Yeah, I don't know what they're They must desperately need somebody. Yeah,
I want to watch that. That's crazy. There you go.
That is Sports Dirt for today. Well, today is Tuesday.
You know what happens on Tuesday. It is time for
no releases.
Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
When we get back on the show, a rock with
a five to three.
Speaker 3 (01:40:37):
That's the Chili Peppers on the show. It's Rock one
O five to three. Well, it is Tuesday, and on
Tuesdays we get to find out what comes out this
week in new releases.
Speaker 7 (01:40:49):
All right, new video games coming out this week tomorrow
is really kind of the only big title of the
week in regards to video games. Don't give me that
dirty look. I'm not in charge of making and release video.
Speaker 3 (01:41:00):
You okay, feel influenced it.
Speaker 7 (01:41:04):
Well, on Wednesday we get the game Wheel World for
Xbox and Place.
Speaker 1 (01:41:09):
Real World Noel, Yeah, where people live together, play or
bas something.
Speaker 2 (01:41:18):
Stop start getting start getting real, stop stop getting nice.
Speaker 3 (01:41:24):
No, wrong, you messed that up so mad.
Speaker 1 (01:41:29):
I know you start getting real, Yeah, but you stop
stop doing something, stop getting nice and start.
Speaker 3 (01:41:34):
No, there's no nice. Why would you stop? Why would
you stop being nice?
Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
That doesn't make any When people stop being polite, you
start getting.
Speaker 5 (01:41:47):
Okay, nailed it.
Speaker 1 (01:41:48):
Nailed it.
Speaker 5 (01:41:49):
No, you guys, No, that's not that's not the game
at all.
Speaker 7 (01:41:53):

Speaker 1 (01:42:31):

This is like the biggest movie of twenty twenty five
as far as like box office totals and stuff like that.
So still no announcement from Disney plus on because they
can still make money with you paying for it, so
you can start paying for that today. Coming to your
streaming services on Netflix today, we get a new train.
Speaker 1 (01:43:08):
Wreck in the Train Love Them, You Love them.
Speaker 7 (01:43:12):
This one is called PI Moms and it's all about
in the early two thousands. I guess there was a
reality show about moms that are also private eyes, but
then some sort of drug scandal and sabotage. So yes,
train Wreck, PI Moms.
Speaker 2 (01:43:29):
Today a TV show, a documentary about all the early
two thousands reality shows like that, because there's so many.
God the Fox Ones alone, you look like trashy like
that was on TV Millionaire.
Speaker 1 (01:43:46):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:43:48):
Coming to Netflix on Wednesday, we have a documentary critical
Between Life and Death. So this is a documentary series
that follows London's trauma centers. So if you're into emergency

Happy Gilmore too.
Speaker 3 (01:44:09):
Wow Yeah watch Party.
Speaker 6 (01:44:11):
Yeah, we were thinking about it actually my friend's house.
Speaker 1 (01:44:14):
But I was excited about the trailer.
Speaker 2 (01:44:16):
You weren't as excited about.
Speaker 8 (01:44:18):
Trailer, That's correct. I just I didn't think that it
looked bad by any means. I just you said the
words hilarious.
Speaker 2 (01:44:24):
I thought it looked really funny.
Speaker 3 (01:44:25):
Here's the thing that worries me a little bit is
all the cameos that are going to be in this
because there's a ton so I'm like, please make them
be okay.
Speaker 2 (01:44:34):
But I think that they kind of had to do
that to make because I think it because I think
you're going all out, and I think you have to
go so over the top with it otherwise it won't
be funny because that kind of happy humor.
Speaker 6 (01:44:46):
Is how dare you?
Speaker 2 (01:44:48):
Wow, You've never sad, but you're right like literally everyone
that's crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:44:53):
Yeah, so that should be interesting. That's Friday to Netflix,
coming to Hulu.
Speaker 1 (01:44:58):
This Oh, let's go coming to Hulu this week.
Speaker 7 (01:45:02):
Now, this one came out yesterday, but you guys are
probably gonna be interested. Trophy Wife Murder on Safari. This
is a docu series. I don't know if you remember
this news story, but a very wealthy dentist from Pittsburgh
went on safari with his wife and turns out she
ended up dead during the safari. So that's Trophy Wife
(01:45:24):
Murder on Safari to Hulu. Wednesday to Hulu. We have
a new series called Washington Black. It's like a historical
thing based in the nineteenth century. An eleven year old
boy on a sugar plantation must flee.

Speaker 7 (01:45:38):
Into an intense drama series that comes to Hulu on
Wednesday Friday to Max, we get Billy Joel and Sewing
Part two.
Speaker 1 (01:45:49):
I've heard part one. It's like two and a half hours.
Speaker 2 (01:45:51):
Yeah, so people, A lot of my New York friends
are like loving it.
Speaker 1 (01:45:57):
I've a lot bit I've heard scandaliss because he's a
part of it, right kind of.
Speaker 2 (01:46:00):
Yeah, he does interview, he doesn't interview stuff for it,
So I'm like, how deep can they really go?
Speaker 3 (01:46:06):
I mean him talking about the affair he had with
his friend's wife. I mean that, and I like led
to suicide, suicide attempt and all this crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:46:14):
What Uptown Girl was about or something?
Speaker 1 (01:46:16):
It might be Christine?
Speaker 2 (01:46:19):
No, this was that was pre No, she's in the video.
Speaker 1 (01:46:21):
Oh she is.
Speaker 3 (01:46:22):
She's a niptown girl. Bro, Uptown girliptown girl.
Speaker 1 (01:46:25):
Bro.
Speaker 7 (01:46:26):
Yeah what wasn't But he was doing funny business when
he was with money.
Speaker 3 (01:46:31):
Funny business, Yeah, funny, sedulous. I can't watch that.
Speaker 1 (01:46:36):
Yeah, you guys, you've done some done Son and Billy Joel.
Speaker 3 (01:46:43):
I mean this happened thirty five years ago. I don't know,
maybe even more.
Speaker 7 (01:46:47):
I feel like I'm late to the party and done now.
But okay, coming to Amazon Prime this week. We have
a new series that started on Monday called Justice on
Trial and it's all about the American criminal justice system
and notable cases.
Speaker 1 (01:47:03):

like Avengers Endgame. Wow, Like I mean, obviously you want
to go see them all and seeing them all, but
this one I'm like like giddy about. I cannot wait
because well that helps for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
Any early buzz very good things.
Speaker 3 (01:47:51):

I'll see it this weekend. Full show.
Speaker 3 (01:48:02):
All right, there you go. Those your new releases for
the week. Coming up tomorrow of course is Thor's Midweek Meltdown.
Plus I would have a new member of the family
if it was up to the people here on the show.
But that's not gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (01:48:16):
I'm gonna tell you about an unwanted guest at my house,
plus more Creed tickets all tomorrow
