Speaker 1 (00:00):
Listen, Sky, I know you're freaking out, but you've had
a few weeks off. Okay, we were off for our vacation.
You were in Oregon and we had the p one
Easter egg hunt, so you haven't had to do this
in a minute.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I know it felt so good.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Opposite, it's time to figure out a food that maybe
you might like.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
We don't need to figure anything out.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Oh we're about to. It's Sky's Wheel of Food.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Come down, It's time for Skyes wheel of food.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Guys food.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's like nervous splash, excited. I don't know which way
this is gonna go.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We spend the wheel wherever it lasts. Sky Guy's Wheel
of Food, Sky not a thing? Is this better or
worse than drive through surprise?

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Well?

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Good questions. It's only one dish, yes.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
So that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
So instead of it being like an order, you know,
a plate of clues, I have to try one bite
of each thing.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It's now just that thing. But I feel like the
things you guys are putting on the wheel are like I.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Got normal dishes or what was it? Crazy? Crazy normal
things you would?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah that's so true.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yeah, I mean these are like normal dishes. So we're
not putting on you know, like anchovy heads or anything
crazy like that. We could, okay, but we're not doing that.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
But in my world, a cottage cheese, anchovy head, a plate.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Of tomatoes basically is it's horrendous.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
And then I don't have the upside because occasionally on
drive through surprise I would actually get something I'd like.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
This is where we're going to disagree, because I truly
believe what we're going to hit something that you think
you don't like that you're gonna go you know what,
that's pretty good. I'm glad I tried this.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yes, I'm forty seven years old.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Who okay, both of you can. So I feel like
I've got it handled.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I know you don't. You really don't. You really don't.
I figured out. I figured nothing.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Out that I am a picky eater, and I'm going.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
To you're very child that way. No nobody accepts it.
I do. Well, oh no, but that's not good. I mean,
all right, So what we do? We spin a wheel
in here. We have several different foods on there. Whatever
lends on is what you're going to eat today. So
let's go ahead and spin the wheel.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
On.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Oh wow, Okay, this is very different sky. Yeah, this
morning you will be trying curry lentil soup. Oho soup
action Yum. Yeah, it's a specialty. I love a special
day soup of the day. How do you feel about curries? Guy?

(03:15):
Come on, you love what what do you?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Let's just say that one of our family's best friends
growing up were the Sinhas, and they lived right across
the street. Excuse me, the Sinhas a wonderful family. Uh,
two sons and a daughter. A really cool dog too,
so h and they'd invite us over quite often. And
to be honest, I could not go inside of the

(03:41):
Sinha's house due to the smell of curry. Oh really,
I have never And then and then growing up, you know,
my husband of course, is like, well have you ever
actually had it? I understand that the smell is and okay,
can you shut up? And uh, And so my husband,
I don't know, almost thirty years ago, made me try

(04:04):
a bite of curry.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
And I do not enjoy the smell nor the tape.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Oh you rejected it of curry, of any of the curries,
the reds, the yellow, spicy, This.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Is a curry lentil soup. So it's not a full curry,
you know, which is you know, pungent and just it's
just not that, it's just a different type of dish.
So maybe in this form, maybe you're back. Hey, now, Sky,
I know you like lentil soup.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
I do like a good lentil, But I got I
got a doctorate up with. I have this special little
spicy sauce I like called pepper plant.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Well, then curry is a spicy.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Oh it's very different. It's very two different worlds of spice.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
This is on your head?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
What's in my head?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
You have no idea already setting it up like being
negative about it?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Did you guys hear about the Sinhas house.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
I would play horse out in their driveway, lost every time.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Can I feel bad for having to live next to Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Can you imagine Karen? She was like twelve, Yeah, all right,
let's deliver this delicious dish to you.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Where does this hail from?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
It hails from a restaurant.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It's a restaurant.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
Yeah, okay, so it's going to be pop And I
immediately think of the Queen of suit.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
She is the Queen Emily does make great soups. Apparently
I've never had one great.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
She loves her great, she loves if it's better than
her meat loaf man.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Well. At one point, Emily was considering opening up a
soup only shop. Why isn't there one? There has to
be morning, noon, and night. I do love a morning soup,
all right? Uh well, I get is cereal soup? No,
never mind, here we go sky What is that?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Okay? She just said that looks good?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Does what's wrong?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I mean, look at it. It is the opposite.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
It does look like diarrhea.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
That does not help?

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Like like I mean, it's it's I it's I eat
a lot of lentils and a lot of lentil soup,
so I mean I do green lentils.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
It looks like a splip p almost it kind of does.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
It's a chunky brown green vibe going off there.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
So here's the things. Guy, I'm gonna admit something. I'm
not a big curry fan either. I don't I don't
like curry. I'm not a big curry guy. I wouldn't
want to be right now. Yeah, oh my god. Well
but you know what, maybe maybe this is the key
you liking it. Maybe I wouldn't be a little brat
and not try it. I just tried to be like, yeah,

(06:38):
not for me. I wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
It's brown, okay, and that's not me.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I'm like, why is saying that? But you will be
taking a full deep spoonful of the curry lentil soup
to the top and hopefully like it. What are you
doing smelling? Is this smell like the sinhas?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
It smells like a lighter version of the sinhas living around.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Maybe it's not a heavy so that's a good start.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Is there meat in that?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
I don't think so. No, it's just lentil, lentils and curry.
That's what it looks like.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
What kind of carrot would be in the I don't know.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I felt I got a meat vibe.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Meat vibe. We'll give you a meat vibe something watching it. Okay.
I'm just saying, all right, here we go, Sky will
be trying curry lentil soup.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I don't get any crackers, not an oyster cracker.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Salt something we're not at the restaurant.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
A little lot of bread of some sort, some pewter bread.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I'm excited for you to try me too.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Maybe I'm going to punch you and hey, Mary Poppins, No,
one punch you.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
She needs to tone down the sunshine about about her.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
The exact same thing she said, No, try.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
To stay positive, sky like she's coming from a place
of loving this.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
You know you don't.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Love this, and I don't know that. I've never had it.
I've never had currylenttal soup. I don't know what that is.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Gosh, okay, now it's smell, you know, throw up jets, surprise.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
The smell took so long?

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Yeah, it just got here, It just got here.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, okay, here we go. Okay, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
I gotta give my water anything soup?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
How long is it going to take her to eat
a bite this soup? Also, there is no there is
no swallow.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yeah, hopefully this one won't take us long together.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I would have guessed not.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
But you don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
All right, But you know what curry does. Stay on
the tongue, you know it lingers. It's a linger?

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Why is it chunky?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Okay? Here we go down the hatch and three two
one the whole thing. Okay, what is it hot? At least? Okay,
she's saying, she's saying, so, so what just what what
is it? I can't figure it out. What is going on.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
She's acting like it's like she's eating a sour skittle. Yeah,
or like the way she's doing her face. I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Oh she doesn't like it. You don't love it. You
take another bike, maybe the second one. You're like kicking.
Explain to me the flavors that are going on.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Oh, it's in there.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
It's just a super Tell a story.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Around and tell us the story of my childhood.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
When my parents announced me we're having dinner at the Sinaha,
it does.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
There is like if you were to lick their couch. Yeah, Jackson,
he's shocking.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
The texture wasn't as offensive as I thought it was.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
It's super because it not racing.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Chunky tends to be chunky. Yeah, so I thought i'd
have an issue with that. I was weird, worried. There
was like weird meat there.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
But okay, But but when that curry, that curry hit.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Oh yeah, yes, steph curry from three nice.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
My right, my mouth. I didn't want it.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
You didn't like the flavor.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I didn't want the three point.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
You're not a fan of the flavor.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
No, I told you that when we started. I don't
like Curry.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Okay, so not a fan, look at you. I don't know.
