Speaker 1 (00:00):
But first we have to get into our very first
Newly Show game of the year. The teams this week
are going to be Me and Emily versus Thor and Scott,
so we will see what happens. I like that.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I like that.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Weren't they the worst? Weren't they the worst team last year?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
We don't need to last year was Emily?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Okay, all right, so you guys have a chance and
we'll see what happens here. So, ladies, you will be
going to the soundproof booth first. Jamie will be asking
Me and Thor the questions, and then you'll come back
in and try to match your answers. I think we're
going to be fine. I think we're gonna be fine.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah, we're gonna be fine.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah. All right, ladies are in the soundproof booth, and
so Jamie go ahead and ask the questions.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
All right, I'm going to start with you. Okay, if
your partner has never done one of the following, which
one would they try first? Skydiving, bungee jumping, ziplining or
rock climbing.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay, So if they've done one of them, that's eliminated. Yeah,
so Emily has done ziplining, I know that for a fact,
and so that one she would not do, or she's
already done rock climbing. I don't foresee Emily ever wanting
to do anything that's strenuous, even though those hands man,
(01:21):
she could just grip onto the rock and just you know,
be fine. Skydiving or bungee jumping, I think she's afraid
of both, but if she had to pick one, I
think the bungee jump would probably be the option I
think she would choose. So I'm gonna go bungee jumping
him though I don't think she would have wanted to
(01:42):
do any of them.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
All right, Yeah, uh, Tholly, what about you? If your
partner has never done one of the following, which would
they try first? Skydiving, bungee jumping, ziplining, ziplining or rock climbing.
I don't think she would do any of them.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
The only reason why I'm gonna say ziplining is because
I've done zip lining and it's not like skydiving or
it's not scary. You're kind of just going pretty smoothly
and you're just going through. And I think she would
like ziplining through something to see for the sight seeing,
because it's kind of slow. That's the only reason I'm
going to say ziplining because she I wouldn't see her
doing any of them.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
She's pretty cowardly.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, she's pretty care if her daughter wanted.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
To do what?
Speaker 4 (02:22):
All right?
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Or I'm gonna stick with you for this next one.
If you could make a new Year's resolution for your partner,
what would it be?
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Oh so many?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Yeah, to dress different, act different, not talk as much.
If I could make a new Year's resolution for my partner,
what would it be to when she's wrong? This is
tough because I think she'll say she wants to go
back to yoga, but she could like read that she
(02:53):
could because I think she'll hear the question wrong. Uh,
I'm gonna be nice and say go back to yoga.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I'm gonna be nice.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
I want to say when she's wrong or not bring
up stuff that has nothing to what we're talking about
that happened thirty years ago.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
You know she does that?
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Ye?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Sorry, all right, that's a loaded question. It's a loaded question.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
What about you, Eddie? If you can make a new
Year's resolution for your partner, what would it be?
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Chill out?
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Sorry?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Sorry? Yeah, there could be a lot of things. I
could say in this one, but she joined this gym
last year and then she went for like a week
maybe two weeks. She went with us right now right,
and then never really return return, which is the most
bizarre thing. Ever. I think she still has the membership,
(03:46):
so I will say I guess to regularly return to
the gym.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
So we're both saying basically health, yeah, get healthy.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
I guess them both to start working out well once
you three get healthy.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't know, I don't know. I don't know if
she's gonna.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
It's like and Emily is the same way. They look good,
feel good, feel good, play good. Wow, so they come
in here with better at.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
I don't know about that. I'm not saying that, Eddie.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Last question for you, who does your partner think is
the worst backseat driver on the show?
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Oh wow, This is tough because I we're all pretty alpha,
and I think, weirdly enough, we all are like the
main drivers in our relationships. Like Sky is the only driver,
like we've heard he was afraid to drive. Yeah, the
boot doesn't.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Drive, haven't expired license.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I don't know, but either way he prefers to let
Sky drive, which I mean, so if she if she's
in the passenger seat. She can't help but try to
take charge. Emily was sort of the same way. She
kind of hates it, but she'll allow it. Me and
Thor will probably be pretty bad letting other people drive,
(05:02):
But I think Sky would be probably be the toughest
to deal with. So I'm gonna go yeah, I'm gonna
say Sky.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Wow, that's interesting. Thor, what about you? Who does your
partner think is the worst backseat driver on the show?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
See, I think it's Emily. Just hearing stories of her
with Robert and how she comes out of her skin
and she yells at him and remember one time and
they switch seats, I think she's the worst. We're all
nobody's good with vACC nobody wants to be. But I
feel like Emily is the worst.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
Emily.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
So Eddie and I say, h this is gonna be wild.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Was that it was? Okay, let's bring it back in.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
It's all good, all right, Emily, I'm gonna start with you.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
I want to go first.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Okay, So if you have never done one of the following,
which would you try first? So if you've done it,
it's eliminated. Skydiving, bungee jumping, ziplining or rock climbing.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
Oh god, I would never go skydiving. I've been ziplining,
bungee jumping good. I think if I learned how to
rock climb, that would be my choice, because I'm like
tethered down and I'm going up rock climbing.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Eddie went with bungee jumping.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
You're doing something strenuous like rock climbing. I can't foresee
that happening.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
It is the least anxious for me to think about.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
When you look down, you're not gonna be freaked out.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
I would not be able to take that jump into
the bungee jump like that's.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Let's be honest. You wouldn't do any of it, of course,
So that's what that was the hard part.
Speaker 7 (06:35):
Well, I thought about you and rock climbing as sweaty
hands when you get nervous, your hands sweats dry on those.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Rocks, slip and fall.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Use the chalk.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
She's got chok bag. And also rock climbing, like I
could choose. My height doesn't have to be the highest
thing ever.
Speaker 7 (06:50):
I mean, you're going like a foot off the crowd.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
I don't know if I can rock.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Gosh, all right, damn it, all right, what about you, Sky,
If you have never done one of the following, which
would you want to first? Skydiving, bungee jumping, ziplining, or
rock climbing.
Speaker 7 (07:08):
Well, hopefully Thorn knows that I've never been ziplining, because
I feel like ziplining is the easiest, least fearful.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
One out of the bunch.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
And I've never done any of those things unless you
count like the rock wall at Chuck e Cheese as
rock climbing.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
But I don't think we do.
Speaker 7 (07:25):
So ziplining all day.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
One with zip lining, Okay, it's the easiest. One's fun,
it's all day.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
I just never will never do you will never do it.
I will zip She won't just do it, she'll do
it all day. I didn't do it at the Safari Partner.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
You did the Hawaiian million times.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Oh you know, I don't leave the pool. Okay, all right, Sky,
I'm gonna stick with you. So I asked Thor if
he can make a new Year's resolution for you, what
would it be?
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
God, I got a lot of thoughts.
Speaker 7 (08:12):
Uh yeah, sure, to dress better, to take better care
of my clothes, to someday use that coffee warmer he
got me for Christmas. I'm I'm going to work on it.
He's normally offended by my clothes. I mean he's offended
(08:33):
by a lot of things out of my mouth and
how I eat, but I think it's mainly my clothes.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So to.
Speaker 7 (08:41):
Take better care of my clothes.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Thor said he was going to be nice and say,
go back to yoga.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I remember you did yoga. You're feeling good. A dump truck.
Speaker 7 (08:56):
Okay, you don't have to talk about my booty.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Wow, look at you.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
That's nice.
Speaker 7 (09:00):
I thought it would be more of a personal attack.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
No, don't listen back to the replace that she's wrong.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Things up, that nothing that we're talking about like ten
years ago. Said don't talk, I said, talk less.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Excuse me?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Okay, all right, Emily. I asked Eddie if he can
make a new Year's resolution for you, what would it be?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Oh my god, I got so many issues.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
To go to therapy, also, maybe take anxiety medication, to
take care of better care of myself, my body, to
drink less.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
If Eddie, I think that's the obvious one, that's the
one I would choose for myself.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
I'm gonna say drink less.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Wow, Eddie said, use that gym membership that you bought.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
It's that's what most people's New Year's resolutions are. And
you have a gym membership and you just don't go.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Yeah, I did go once over break.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
How about that? And I remembered that I never wanted.
That's a good time. That's a good time. You're in
your mind and also trying to think of realistic things,
you know, so one.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah, come on happening, I can't stop. Oh my god, Okay,
you're right doing. Come on, get it together, God, you.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Get one last shot out. I asked Eddie who he
thought you would think is the worst backseat driver on
the show.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
Who I would think is the worst backseat driver on
the show. I am a pretty awful backseat driver. But
that's what Robert Man, horrific driver.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Needs to tell them what to do. Thor I think
he would be pretty bad. Eddie definitely not. Well, actually
maybe with his wife Deborah. I think Sky she's a
control freak. She wouldn't be able to shut up, so
I'm saying Sky.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Eddie said, Scott, oh.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
We're on the board. I mean a lot of events.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
What Okay, all right, Sky, what about you? Then I
asked Thor who he thinks you would think is the
worst driver on the show, Max ba Baxy Driver.
Speaker 7 (11:28):
Yeah, if it was reversed, that would be easier because
I know Thor would say me, But I am not
going to say me because I am a delight at
Sometimes sometimes people confuse the ninety four West with the
ninety four East, and.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's not my bad.
Speaker 8 (11:41):
Okay, even though it was when were driving at the
time you were talking about that is true.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
See what I mean?
Speaker 1 (11:48):
She brings up something that weird sense.
Speaker 7 (11:55):
And who was yelling at me the most was the
one yelling at me the most. So yeah, I think Emily,
she may be coming out of her skin. She's not
saying anything any same thing.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
So four backseat driver four said Emily.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Emily, Emily made Robert pull over on the side of
the road and switch spots made.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, you know how many times that's happened.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
She's not gonna say anything. What are you talking about.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
I don't know why I'm considering that I'm driving in
this scenario, but you're right, if Robert's driving, somebody else
is driving. Yeahmy Emily saying something also.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
I said something because we were on our way to
the airport and you went.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
You.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
Spring Valley, very complaining with your term.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
A flight to.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Catch well after round one, it's all tied up. We
didn't do that great, but it's all tied up.
