Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, it's kind of crazy to think about Thor's baby
is gonna be here before you know it, Wow, like
three four months away. It's crazy to.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Think about October, November time, November seconds the due date.
But so we initially thought of November second, and we're
saying November second. But when we went in for our
first two ultrasounds, it was a week later, a week earlier,
so it may be earlier. Maybe October excuse, Yeah, maybe
a Halloween baby, that would be wild. I was I

(00:29):
wanted it on Halloween. I thought that would be cool,
But now I think.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
My uncle is born on Halloween and nobody cares.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So that's.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
You have a Halloween party and you go, oh birthday
to Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
I think about it at school like you would normally.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
So this went through my mind because I was born
on New Year's Eve and it's awful. So I'm hoping
if he is born in October, it's before Halloween. So
that's so he could have like the fun of a
birthday and Halloween mixed together a little bit.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
My friend, my really good girlfriend, is born two days
before Halloween, and now she's never wanted to dress up
like she's always been an anti Halloween person because she trying.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
To kill the holiday. Yeah, I get that. I get that.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
So then then me and my wife's anniversaries on November sixth,
So that'd be crazy if he was born ruined my anniversary.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, I don't know that.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
It's it's a blessing.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
November birthdays are so yes, we're getting pretty close here,
and then next month is the big baby shower. And
so you're talking about things on your registry and all
that stuff recently, and I got in there and we

(01:42):
were talking about changing diapers and all that stuff, and
I forget who brought it up, but somebody's asked, you know,
were you able to change diapers? So yeah, it didn't,
it doesn't. It didn't affect me at all. Like I
don't know why because I don't actually don't have a
great uh you know, like no might have a very
you know, sensitive nose and things like that, but when

(02:04):
it's your kid, it's just I don't know, something like
flips off.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
You have heard of those parents and they're putting it
on or Robert.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Because they just don't want to do it.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
And Robert, he'd be in there and he'd go like
he's making like the gagging noise, push out of the way, and.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Go, I got it.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I did that with my nephew Ethan when he was
like who, I tried to change the diaper and it
was I could who.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, I think too. I mean two is pretty is
you're changing diapers? Are two? Oh? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I mean some of that I think their other kids
still isn't probably trained all the way. Uh it's an
issue or I don't know, but yeah, And it was
disgusting and I couldn't do it.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
But I figured because it's.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
My own kid, it would be different probably, So I
have no problem picking up my dog's poop.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
What's the difference?

Speaker 6 (02:56):
The smells different than dogs.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
So it is what it is. We were talking about
that stuff and I didn't have a problem with it.
I said, but make sure you register for a diaper genie,
because those diaper genies are a lifesaver. Got it? Honestly,
you know, if you don't know what a diaper genie is,
it's just this kind of like tube where you you know,
it has like a bag in it and you put

(03:22):
the diaper, the dirty diaper in this thing, and it
like stores up all the dirty diapers in these bags
and then you take the bag out and you can
throw them all away.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Yeah, that makes a diaper stake.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah, but unlike just like throwing it in a regular
trash bag. After every diaper you put in there, it
like seals it off, you know, and like that, it
doesn't smell. It makes like a snake kind of by
the time you're done. But that's sealing. It makes all.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
It doesn't smell. So I said, make sure you REGI
for a diaper genie. And you said that you registered
for something else. You weren't really sure what it was.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Something my wife did the registry.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
I saw it something similar, but it's not a diaper.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, the same concept. Yeah, And then I started to
explain what the diaper genie was and he goes, I got,
I know, I know what it is. Wait what you've
had a diaper genie for you? No, does that mean
that doesn't make anything You didn't have whenever had a kid.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
When I lived in the apartment building, I want to say,
in like two thousand and like sixteen, so I was
living there and I had a outdoor patio on the
second floor. But and the the giant trash can to
throw away like dog poop or something was like like

(04:34):
your apartment dumpster the apartment dumpster. Sorry, yeah, it was
was pretty far down the block, and I didn't want
to walk all the way down there every time I
let the dog out. So one day I was with
my dog, Oscar RP and I was letting him out,
and I said, wait, what do you mean you let
him out? Well, I was walking to the front of
the building and there was like a little like dog

(04:56):
like Patrick Grass or something. Yeah, like Patrick Grass. I
wasn't even a dog area. But there's no trash cans anywhere.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
See.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
The only trash can in the vicinity was.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
All the way down the street where the parking lot is,
and it was a giant like garbage bin. And I
didn't want to walk all the way down there every
time I let him out to go poop. So I
go outside with him and I see somebody has a
free sign on a diaper Genie. So I'm like, oh,
this is phenomenal. So I take the diaper Genie and

(05:24):
I put it on my patio and then every time
he pooped, I would pick up the poop and then
put the poop in the diaper Genie.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Was perfect. It was perfect and.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Then when I had a diaper Genie for your dog.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
And then whenever I and then whenever I would throw
it away, I would take all the poop when it
was filled and walk.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
The track to the park down the street and throw
the coop away.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
That's one of the craziest things I've ever heard of.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
It worked out perfect.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
What did you What did you do with it?

Speaker 6 (05:55):
A diaper?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I kept it on the patio after oh, you don't
have it anymore? No, I eventually I think I just
put it back and but the sign that say is free.
But it worked great. Did you even know what it
was when you decided to take this? I saw diaper Genie,
and I think I googled it or asked something. Either
googled it or asked somebody, and I thought it would
be I'm like, oh, this makes sense because I didn't

(06:16):
want I thought about just getting a garbage can and
putting it outside, but that would eventually start to smell. Yeah, genius,
no flies. And for your dog, yeah, Oscar ever heard
that he was the best.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
What do you think about this?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
I mean, at first, I'm like, this is one of
the crazier things that I've ever heard. Knowing this guy,
it is. And also so you had to buy the
you know, the bag refals. Those were not cheap either,
because you know they come in that little ring thing
and it's the bag, the new bags.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
But it saved me the walk, I guess it did.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
I mean, but I can't be mad at it. It's
kind of genius.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
But you also know this guy, Yeah, how how far
could this walk have been?

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
It was?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I was on one end of the street, The complex
was down the garbage bin was on.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Down a hill.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Okay, now you know what I'm talking about, down a hill,
walking down the hill?

Speaker 3 (07:13):
That great walking up the hill? You kidd me.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I wasn't trying to do you take your trash out?
How often would you take it up? Once a week?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
It was just me so once a week.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Couldn't be this inconvenient for the whole complex to take
their trash out that you have to walk?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
There was nowhere else to do it? Bro Oh really,
I'm telling you there was nowhere else.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
This is insane.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
I'd love the map of this complex.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
I gotta see it. Okay, you're well, and now most
apartment complexes have like a you know thing baggies for
not all the way twenty sixteen, although.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Sixteen, I mean it wasn't like that long ago, and
like or a trash can in front of the entrance.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Usually it's almost still me something. Yeah, he probably never
even noticed it. There's probably something right there.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Yeah, and like the family that put that out for free,
they're probably like, oh, we're going to help another family
with it.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
So here's the place.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Okay, it's called Nightingale Apartments.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Here's the place right here.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
This was my apartment right here, second floor right there,
and then there's the hill. Oh, and then I went
too far here? And why you're too far here?

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Do you you're zoom in? So it went.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
This was the parking lot right here where this tree is,
and it was down here with the masses. That's pretty
far walk. I mean that's not even down that's pretty far.
It's a small complex, not even the way down this hill.
It's not at the end of the building. It's in
the middle of the building.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
It's way smaller than I thought.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
Right here, I was picturing one of the big ones.
Where do you have like twelve buildings?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, no, I got it. You'll see that.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
It's not that far and then you see that garbage,
You're already out walking the dog.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
So this is wild.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I can't believe you got a diaper genie for that,
you lazy bums?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Genius are I mean?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I shouldn't have brought that up. He made it much worse.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Look at this, Look at this? What what a genius idea?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Man?

Speaker 1 (09:12):
So the guy's experience with the diaper Genie, Wow, he
used it with his dogs.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
So will you be the.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Expert in the house when it comes to diaper disposal?

Speaker 2 (09:20):
No, diaper disposal. Yes, putting on I never put on
a type before. It's not very hard, so I've never
done it. And I'm very worried about things like diapers.
I'm very worried about swaddling.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
That's not I feel like he's gonna I could never
do it.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
I can never, really, So I'm worried about swaddling. Picked
him up to be a loose. I feel like Emily
would do it too tight.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
In the well, he would be explained some things me
