Speaker 1 (00:00):
Uh, so we beginning these updates with Thor and his
wife and having a baby and all that stuff, and again,
literally could happen at any minute. We've been on watch.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Thor didn't even go to bru ball last Friday because
he thought, you know, the baby was coming and it
was gonna happen. It's crazy. I feel like I feel
like you missed. You missed out. I missed out purpose
and I did the boy who Cried Wolf.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Yeah, yeah, I wake up this was gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
And I told my wife I.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Don't know about I don't know about you guys, but
I wake up every morning, you know, to do the show,
and you do.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I do. I actually wake up every morning and.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Then night, and then I wake up. Okay, yeah, it's
a crazy thing.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I'm thinking about it. I think I did that.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
You guys were all so similar.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
So the first thing I'm looking for when I look
at my phone in the morning is a text from
Thor letting me know that they've gone to the hospital
in the middle of the night, like I expected every
morning every.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Time my wife texted me, I think this is the
text that our water broke. But then talked yesterday on
the phone, and she said she wouldn't text me, she'd
call me. That's kind of a bummer though, because I
kind of wait for.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
You want it, you want to text? Yeah, you do
know that the water may not break and she can
go into labor.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah, the break still in still Read was like, I'm
not coming out. I refuse like that.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
So we get these different updates, and Thors had these
wild thoughts of you know, how the labor is gonna go.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
And watching movies and stuff, and you know, you know,
you're gonna be rushing.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Around like you know, you know, the guys watch and
so you know, he really the day that we're really
worried about is a Sunday. If the baby comes on
a Sunday, that's when things are. Today's Thursday honestly sucks.
It's you're we're pointed right in that direction.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
What's crazy is this Sunday. My wife and her whole family,
they're all Niners fans and I mean her, her dad
nine or Greg. And then the Giants and Niners play
each other on something.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
So I said, whoever wins that game, baby Walker becomes
the fan of that team. They get. The winner gets
baby Walker. So I think that's fair.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Well, he is going to be confused when one side
of his family when all of his cousins because it's
just me and my sister.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
She has three brothers.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
So when all of his cousins and uncles are all
Niner fans, and then he's the g stuck in a giantsman.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Sitting there miserable with his dad. They're turning it around
the Jackson Dart. Now, so if you know, baby comes
on Sunday, we've heard Or wants to do these crazy
things like watching uh the iPad and in the delivery room,
you know, all these crazy things, you know, And so
(02:55):
he wants to say in the playlist he's had all
these crazy thoughts about what's gonna to actually go down
during the delivery. Yes, okay, great. Once the baby comes though,
now things are going to get even crazier because Thor
has some wild thoughts on how that's going to look
as well.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Yeah, so, because the baby's so big, we've decided that
we're well, my wife decided that she's doing a sea section.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Now.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
She didn't want to do a sea section, but it's
just just baby's so big. Now, it's just it's too risky.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
We got a ten pounder.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah, I guess she could hemorrhage, so like, I don't,
it's just it's just safer.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
She says she's bummed because she really wanted to feel
what it was like to go through childbirth. I thought
that was a wild would anybody want to go through that?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
It looks like my wife said the exact same thing.
We had an emergency sea section, but she was a
little bit bummed that she didn't get to do because
we we labored the whole time. Similar with Emily. Yeah,
I labored the whole time, and then the last second, boom,
we got to get the baby out.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Like what a mindf for us, because we were I was,
I was pushing them out. They kept trying to put
me back to sea section, and I kept saying, no, no, no,
I want to do this, I want to do this,
but then boom.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, so yeah, I get I guess when that's yes,
she was over it all over this. I'm done just
getting anymore. So we're doing the sea section.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
And with the sea section, as you guys know, you
guys pay in the hospital three to four days, and
you know what the hospital we're going to is, right,
around the corner. Well, fifteen minutes from my house.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Wait, right around the corner from work.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
From work, but fifteen minutes from the house from your house, fifteen.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Fifteen minutes from to courney Mesa. Yes, I swear to God.
Obviously during she used to say that your drive to
aMule was what twenty minutes? Yes, and it was like
forty five minutes drive. Guy's a nutcase. Have no concept
at the time.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
I live off like you know, near seventieth in college,
and it takes me eleven minutes to get here.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
But that's I'm right there.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
And that's what's zero travels. Zero travel Do you live?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
We grow? I mean I don't.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Oh wow, So right now if I left on hey,
on second, Oh.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
God, I'm gonna change it.
Speaker 4 (05:01):
Let me change you change change, Well, I got it
right now. It's Pete traffic. It's seventeen minutes right now,
right now, seventeen minutes.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
That's door to door. That's what Google map says.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Fifteen okay, so seventeen minutes. So seventeen minutes, okay, give
or take a second. So we're gonna be in the hospital.
You know, it's not comfortable. So I said for me, oh,
for anybody, for anybody we have. I guess this new hospital,
you get your own room, you get the TV. Well,
I'm gonna bring my Apple TV so we can watch stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
What that stuff. That's that's it. I don't think I
watched one TV show when.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
I was in the I can't even call if there
was a TV in my.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
Room or not.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Honestly, you're so wrapped up in this new baby that
you're in charge of. There's definite TV in there.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
We had a TV on, but I don't ever remember,
like it was just on in the background.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
I just did, Yeah, he's gonna be sleeping. He's not
gonna be you know, the whole time, really, at least
for hours at a time. So I so I decided,
I mean, the babies do they're new boards, they sleep well.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
So when the baby is first born, lots of times
they're exhausted. So they'll sleep for a good like six
hours and you're like, yes, I got a good one,
a sleeper. But they're just recovering from being born.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
And then it.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Starts for six hours. I can watch TV.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
So and then it starts like every hour, like bay
I They're they're crying.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, for sure, So I.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Not at all.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
So I said, well, her mom's going to be here,
and her mom's going to go to our house and
she's gonna be staying there with the dogs and stuff.
So I said, well, you know, Hayley's me because I
haven't packed to go bag yet.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Still do you still have it?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
What are you waiting for?
Speaker 3 (06:43):
We have time?
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Do you realize what the point of the to go
bag is? You?
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Eddie told me and Sky when your water breaks, you
have time.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
You don't have to get rush. You might not be
a water break situation. She may go into labor and
you got to get her to the hospital. Okay, she's
not gonna we have seventeen minutes. She's not going to
give birth in the car.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
I have to have time to throw some underwear in
a bed.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
And again we're seventeen minutes from the hospital.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
But you're also gonna be stressed and anxious.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
So why not just like have that taking care be
not stressed anxious.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
We're seventeen minutes already having excity, we're seventeen minutes.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
In case, we're seventeen minutes from the hospital. If I
feel a.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Baby, arrow drive because that's where it's gonna be born
on the side of the fifth.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
I forget something, I could just go home and get it.
So my point is, oh, geez, I feel like, if
her mom's at the hospital with her, I could go
home for an hour or two.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
What an hour or two.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
I could take a shower, I can let the dogs out,
I could make a sandwich.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
I won't play Madden. Wait are you crazy?
Speaker 4 (07:46):
I feel like I feel like, if her mom's at
the hospital and it's like the third day in the hospital,
I could go home and like reset, do everything around
the house, make sure, like to throw some laundry. You know,
I feel like I let the dogs out here. You
want to break I don't. I don't see the big
deal of this. I don't want to have to shower
at the hotspake shower at home.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Movie.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
But I'm just saying I don't think that. It's not
like we're fifty minutes from the hospital.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I understand that. I don't think that. I don't see
the big deal. You you have zero concept of what
you're actually in for, Like you don't like you when
your wife has a C section, she's laid out, she
had major surgery. Literally, they take their guts out and
put it to the side to get that baby out,
and then they put them back in, and then they
(08:34):
shove them back in. I'm not saying it. And immediately
she can't get she can't get up. If it happens
on Monday. To make plain to see you, you're in.
You're gonna be in charge of everything, like whatever your
wife needs, you gotta get done, whatever the baby needs.
You're doing, let's do it. You're in. I don't know,
I'll try, but no, that's again, she's not getting up
(08:57):
from bed, so she's she's latching on the in the.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Bed and bringing it to her.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Yeah, you're changing it. You're doing all these other things.
And I slept her twenty four to seven. I showered there.
I ate there. The only breaks I got was to
go down to the cafeteria and eat and then and
then I'd head right back up.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
So instead of going to the cafeteria. Look at this guy,
I mean angel, he's Danny Tanner. I was three days
in of the year, three days. It was incredible, Danny Tanner.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Nurses were said, I've never seen anything like that.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
I'm sure I'm not going home to play Madden and make.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Us I would make it.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
I'm just if her mom is there. What I could
go home, take a shower. We have four animals, and
let's be real. I love her mom, Love her mom.
Don't trust her with my animals. I'll trust her with
the baby. Trust I trust her with the baby. Don't
trust Okay, Well that's it, and I think Hayley would say,
no chance, no chance.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
She I grew up like rescuing them.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
I trust her with the baby, not with the animals.
So I could go home. I let the animals out,
I take a shower. I come back to the Hobble refreshed.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
I love this guy.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
After your break break, I get two hours. I can't
get two hours two hours. You can't get.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
To Haley's reaction. We know how Haley is like. It's
her like knowing that you're gonna do that, she won't.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Want for two hours. I'll bring her back a Turkey club.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
I'll make a salad, whatever she needs when I pick
up some Chick fil A on the way.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
None. I don't see the problem. A great guy. I'm
not doing it day one or two, day three. We're
leaving tomorrow. Anyway.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
I'll get the house ready, just getting the house, ready,
clean the litter box.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
If it was somebody I didn't know, and they're like,
her mom's gonna be with her. I'm running home to
feed the dogs, take a shower, be right back. I'd
be like, Wow, this guy taking care of stuff at home.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
But it's just the fact that we know him. What
I mean, like, he's.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Gonna lolligag, He's gonna be on Twitter.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Oh yeah, you're.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Here, you lollly gag. Get over there.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
I can't check my fantasy team.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I mean you do that. You could actually do that
at the hospital you're fine with who knows. I don't know.
I can't do it. I won't have time. He wants
to take a break from being a dad two days
in it's crazy, you're wild, man. I'm not the one
getting the surgery. I can't leave. It's two hours, okay. Nurses, yeah,
(11:46):
they're not. They they're there. They come in, check your
wife's vitals, they do certain things. Check they don't they're
not there to take care of the baby. That's your job.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
And I'll ask her mama, Hey, I'm gonna go home
and check out everything. Do what Sky was just saying
way back in two hours, back in the last two hours.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
You know that's the truth. You know that's the truth.
Take thirty minutes to get hold of.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Showed you on Google Maps.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Oh well, good luck with all that. Jump onto a
break you could melt down and then
