Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we're getting close, man, We're every day it's getting
closer and closer. Thor and his wife Hayley are going
to be having a baby soon, less than a month.
We're not sure when, but you know it's still be
here any minute. It always happens.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I was telling her yesterday because her stomach starting to
look a little lower.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Oh shopping, Well you're having a son.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
So yeah, boy, that's what happens.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
So what's funny to me is like, because a bunch
of my buddies have had kids lately, and her brother
had a baby lately, and whenever you hit around this time,
everyone tells you that it's gonna happen a second now, Well,
we just know it's gonna come early, and then it
never does. My brother in law they had their baby
after forty weeks. Same thing with my buddy Lily, same
thing with my buddy Doug. It's just it always, but

(00:43):
they always, they're always like, I'm telling you this time though,
it's gonna happen, and it never does.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So if it does, then they are you going to
come in here and apologize? I apologize to who me?
I'm the one that's saying it. I know that was
a shot at me. I know that was a shot
of me. I'm just but it was a shot my
wife because she's the one thing that's coming early. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
So I went to the Difference yesterday and my wife's
best friend works as the dentist, and she said to me,
and it's I really think it's gonna be any day now.
I'm like, any day now. We're a month away. She's
only thirty five weeks, She's not thirty nine weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yeah, you know what I mean. That's the massive difference.
The baby, though, is coming in weighing in like twenty
seven pounds already.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Okay, it's not twenty seven pound Yeah, I think he
just graduated middle school.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Baby, So I don't I just hang on for a
little bit. But what I got? I got the Giants
game in that okay, I got. I got Sunday football.
Help she goes in Liberty today. Today, I got Sunday football. Sunday.
I got at least two or three more weekends of quiet.
You don't you you don't want your baby to come
because it will inconvenience your football.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Well, I just feel like I need I need a
couple more weeks of football.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
What the hell are you talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
I need a couple of weeks of quiet, no crying
in the house, right. Who wouldn't want that? I know
what's coming.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I would be excited to have a baby.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I am excited. I'm just saying it's like says like
it's an inconvenience. I'm excited. I just want a couple
more weeks of quiet.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
You got to stop saying stuff like this. I don't
think that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
It is.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I want a couple more weeks of quiet because I
know I know what's headed, So a couple more. I've
seen I've seen Frankie over at nine three three. He
looks tired. I seen the cat just had babies tired.
Another baby, by the way, that didn't come until after
forty weeks.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I've seen him. He's tired. I don't want to be
that tired yet. I'm not ready for that. I want
to get more sleeping.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
No, you want to watch football is what I want
to all.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
You care about. I want to get more sleep. Can
you Well? There has been something that has been brewing
and something that Haley has requested. As we get closer
and closer to the baby. By the way, how do
you request this. How ridiculous that is? Okay, well, this
guy not a fan of it and says he's not

(02:51):
going to do it, which is I don't know, man,
this is how he is? What is it?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
So my wife found out that her brother got her
sister in law a push present.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yep, it's the thing, the thing.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
I had to do it.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Yeah, I didn't even know about it until I had
a baby. That the hunter it's supposed to get a
gift for the wife.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Again, when did that start? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I don't know, you know what I mean, because it
doesn't surprise me that Eddie did it, because Eddie's gratifying gifts.
He's always on top of that. But it surprises me
that that that people even knew about it.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I never heard. This to me, seems like a thing that.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Millennials or gen zers started a couple of years ago.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
It could that's what That's what I felt. I just knew,
you know. So my daughter's sixteen, so it's been at
least that's what twenty years.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I'm surprised. I'm not surprised to hear that you got something.
I'm surprised to hear that you even knew what it was.
Somebody had to have told me. Yeah, I wouldn't have
known on my own, but somebody must have said, are
you getting her push president? And what the hell is that? Yeah,
and they said it's a gift you give your wife
if you well push.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
We ended up did both of them were c sections
section gift. I don't know. I mean the intent was
initially to have a natural birth. If you don't push,
you know, push. There was pushing.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
There was some pushing.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
My wife doesn't push. I mean you're missing the if.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
You're not, like, it's not a literal thing.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
No push, no present, no push, no present. So yeah,
somebody told me that you give a gift for the
pushing and the labor and all that stuff, and and
that you know you're going through.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
That, what you get you remember. It was a while,
a sixty.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Year No, I have no clue. I think it was
something that was like baby related, like a charm or something.
I don't something I don't remember, you know.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
So I initially heard about this for the first time
from our boss Mareene, because she told me that she
got a push present when she had one of her kids,
and I I was like, obviously to Noreen, my boss.
I'm like, oh, that's greatly, that's awesome. I'm definitely gonna
do that, okay. But then I walk out of there
and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Oh, what you know what I mean this? No, not
at all. It's doing something nice for your lady.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
I remember when I was talking and I heard about this,
and because I knew I wasn't with the kind of
guy that was going to get it for give me
a present, I took the other side and like, in hindsight,
I can recognize this, where like I was like, this
is so stupid.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
But here's the thing. My wife is like this with
a lot of other things. Yeah, with like she doesn't
want to be you know, like you know, yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I'm just kidding.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
She doesn't want to be like, you know, the stereotypical
mom with that kind of stuff. We don't want She's
cool exactly. She wants to be the cool mom like
somebody else.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
I know.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
That's what she and baby is she going on mom blogs? No, Okay,
I get it, but she gotta go stroller strives.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
So my so, my my sister does all that stuff.
And it's great because that's my sister and it makes sense.
But it makes my wife skin crawl. She doesn't want
to be like that. And I love my sister, but
that works for me.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
You know, you know you say to that just wait,
she thought of the word play date makes my wife
one of up, you know what I mean, he's going
to not stopping.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
So so then with but then I started to notice,
like like Emily had told my wife that you have
a boy, it's it's it's you know, you guys are connected.
And my wife even thought was like please, but now,
but now my wife is like, anytime I touch the
stomach or I say i'm gonna, like we talked about
the podcast yesterday, I'm gonna change him on the hard surface.

(06:51):
She freaks out, you can't do that to our boy.
So she's doing exactly what Emily said she was gonna do.
So she's changing in those ways, which is annoying. I
thought we were in that together. You know that you
didn't care where you change the baby. Yeah, so I
so she found out out this push president that her
brother did for our sister in law. And now only
did my brother in law get my sister in law

(07:12):
push present, He like wrote a card from the baby's perspective,
thanking the mall. I'm like, what a loser. My brother
in law, he's a great guy. I love this, buddies,
but come on, what are you.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Doing to me?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Do you remember what he got her?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
I don't know. I just know that he did those
two things. And I'm just like, what are you doing
to me? Bro? Because my brother, my wife idolizes her,
her older but she doesn't like that kind of stuff.
But her older brother, who she like looks up to
and idolizes, she he did that, so she likes it.
So I get a text from my wife saying, not
only does she want to push president, but us Gotti

(08:01):
wrote at this and that about from the perspective of
the baby, thanking the mom for the last nine months.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
So I'm just throwing that out there, winky face. Wait,
can you request your own push present? That's what she's doing.
So and here's where where are you at? I'm going
to be there. I'm in I'm.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
In the murdency, I'm in the hospital room. I'm going
to be sleeping on that share that's uncomfortable. I'm gonna
be uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
To the want to walk that back?

Speaker 1 (08:35):
What is he trying to say?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I'm just saying I'm not going to get any sleep.
I'm going to have be uncomfortable. I'm going to be
having sympathy pains. I'm not going to be if it's
on a Thursday night or a sudden I'm not going
to watch football. So like my moral support should be
the push president. No one's getting me a moral support president.
So why do I have to get her a present

(08:58):
forgiven birth? I can't give birth, are you not? God
didn't give me the right, give me the option to
give birth, but he gave me the option to be
morally supportive?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Are you trying to angle for a present yourself. I'm
just trying to say if I'm really confused, if she.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Gets a present, I shouldn't present, and if or no
one gets a present.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
You know what the president is? You know? You know
the push? Yeah? Part of the present. You you're not doing.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
You sleeping on an uncomfortable chair.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
I don't think you can compare to pushing a human
out of a small in your body.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
What about this? You could do it? I love you?
You got this?

Speaker 3 (09:37):
That does not compare to what I feel like.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
She doesn't even want that, she's annoyed by it. Oh yeah,
you need ice. You need ice chip.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
At the furthest ice, you need ice chips?

Speaker 1 (09:48):
What can I get you? What do you I mean,
I got the scrubs on.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
No you don't.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
I'm ready to go. So my thing is I actually.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Do well if they're doing that ship, yeah, but if
you're just pushing, you're not in scrib.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
You don't need my brothers a doctor, I'll throw them.
That doesn't make you a doctor.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
So if I'm just saying, if she wants a president,
you're not gonna you know, or gets a president.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
And again what a million times the baby is the president?
I think that. I think people. I think people recognize that.
I don't think so this is an addition.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
To we're spilling a society. The baby's not enough. Now
what's next. I gotta get a push president. Then I
gotta get a I wheeled you out of the hospital President.
Then I gotta get a first ride with the baby
in the car President. Then I gotta get it. Oh,
the baby latched a latch present?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I mean, when does it end? Oh the baby birth
the first time? Here's a role x? I mean, what
do you want from me here? When does it end
with the present? When does it end?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
With the president.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
You know what, change the diaper. Here's a rolex. You
know what, here's a necklace. I'm gonna get Haley pus No,
you are getting. You're gonna get Haley. You don't gonna
get hay the push president. You can't stop me. You
can't stop me. Present. You don't deserve one. I don't
deserve You're not doing anything. All you care about is football.
You don't get anything. Hayley's doing all the work. She

(11:21):
gets a push present. She's not doing all the way. Yes, yes,
what did you hear about the ice? You're not doing that?
Your garbage? You hear about I'm not? Yes, you are.
You are garbage. I will get Haley a push president.
I'm done with you. You're eliminated. I'm not eliminated. You're
not You're your fire. This guy
