I remember this because it was a big deal for
me at the time, because I had no money, and
also I rarely came across the picture we took. Because
I've been going through my pictures making photo albums and
a photo album. Guy, I rarely came across this picture
of the me of us with my parents in old Town. Yeah,
so Sky Sky wearing exactly the same outfits. This was
like eleven years ago. So it doesn't happen very often.

But when it does, you know, obviously it's a big deal.

Well, I guess there was a situation this past weekend
where four offered to treat like.

Who so I had my wife's pregnant obviously, so then
thank you the boy. Uh and my my father in
law and my stepmother in law guess are in town. Yeah,
and they're great. Greg and Ded love Niner. Niner and
Ded and we went out to dinner and we were
actually going to the comedy show downtown at the Yellow

Door to see Brent Earns. Before the show, we wanted
to get dinner, so I said it was downtown dinner. Yeah,
so I said, I said to Haley, as we're going there,
I'm going to pay for dinner.

I want to pay for dinner. Oh, well, you feel like,
are you okay?
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I just felt like, I don't know.

Because we knew the comedy tickets were on the house.

Well, they didn't know that. I just felt because I
wanted to buy lunch. We went to Tacos olt go
for lunch, which is so good, and go for lunch
and I wanted to buy lunch, but Greg snuck in
and paid for paid for most of the tacos, and
I was like, I wanted to do it.

Because it's cheaper.

I wouldn't say that, I would just say yeah. I
stopped trying to protect so I was like, damn it.
So I had to get in there. I got it.
I gotta pay for for dinner and.

I feel like whenever in laws, my parents or my

in town. I did anything for my dad, and my
dad always does the somebody take a picture. This is crazy.

Anyway, So we're going out to dinner. Went to a
nice restaurant downtown and I notice on the menu I'm seeing,
I'm looking at everything is more expensive nowadays, to the
point where it's insane. Like bread's forty dollars, it's insane.
And I see on the menu. Now, I I know
that no one's going to order this. I know no

one's going to order the one hundred and thirty dollars steak,
or like the one hundred and fifty dollars surfing turf,
or like the the ninety dollars ribbi. So you're like
a steakhouse, yeah, and I know no one's going to
order that. I do like a ribbi. Yeah. Hundred years too,
those are different, a hundred years A mistake. Sorry, sorry,

I'm sorry. So I so I like to I like
that I see that stuff, and I know that no
one's gonna order it, but but you never know. So
we're all looking at the menu going through.

they're gonna get, even though my wife's looked at the

no one's getting that right. Is it already been stated

that you were going to be paying? Yeah, I said, guys,
dinners on me before we before we got in the car.

So then when we were all sitting down, I went, oh, man, crazy,
I start talking about how crazy the prices are recent
and like the surcharges, and and then I I did
my whole bit sky about how it's not right that
I get charged. I get taxed on bonuses, but waiters
at tax on tips. So I did that bit, and

then and then I said, I can't believe how expressive
the rabbi is. No one's getting that though, right, Like
I said, like jokingly, so you're putting parameters. People can
say when you're treating. I wouldn't say you're treating. I
wouldn't say parameters. More of like you could get it.

was looking at Haley and I go, oh god, that

what it automatically does. I swear to god what it
automatically does is I'm uncomfortable what I'm ordering. And now

Honestly, if someone said that, I would then look for
what the least expensive thing on the menu is and
be like, okay, I'm just gonna no, no, okay, But
