Speaker 1 (00:00):
So apparently this is going to be a very difficult
week if you're in a relationship. Oh yeah, you heard
Thor already got called out by his wife this morning.
Oh no, it could get worse. I hate to break
it could get worse for you this week. This week
is a very very difficult week for relationships.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, yesterday actually holds the title of National Divorce Day.
Oh my god, because they say it started yesterday and
pretty much goes all week long. The first back to
work week of January is when divorce lawyers in the

(00:41):
US say they get the highest volume of people reaching
out to them asking questions about what do I need
to do to safely protect myself and divorce my spouse
just the beginning of the year, Yes, the beginning.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I don't want to do it during the whole days.
They want to wait till after maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, so we got that going on. And then there's
also something else that if somebody's not ready to go
full on divorce, they say, the adult cheating website elicit encounter. Okay, okay,
I don't know. If my husband's on listening, you just

(01:23):
screamed out my day. I think we all knew what
you were alluding to.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
I am not familiar with this website. No, the big one.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Was, yeah, I guess, I guess this is just like
Ashley Madison, a cheating site for married people. So you
know what you're getting into when you register on that site.
Wild Well, they say that Adalystit encounters they know that

(01:52):
this is their biggest week of the year, so they
actually bring in extra staff this because their memberships jump
almost forty percent this week every single year. Because again,
people have come to some realizations. According to relationship experts,

(02:14):
you guys were like speculating why why this week? Well,
this is what relationship experts say. Sixty four percent of
people who look into a divorce this week say it
was the holiday season that made them realize how unhappy
they are in their relationship and how it shouldn't be
that way because they see other families not being unhappy.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Oh didn't get that good gift? Huh out day.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
About fifty percent of people in the survey were a
bit more blatant and admit that their extra time at
home with their partner just made them realize they.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Don't like them.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Oh might be brutal, I just basically don't like them
at all, and they.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Speaking about you guys during break because like Robert Man
goes to work every day, and so it's like and
when we're off for a couple of weeks at least,
he's going to work and I'm not home with the
same person like for two weeks, I feel like that'd
be a lot.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, like you guys, I cherish the time with my family.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I love my wife, So I, to be honest, do
not feel that way. You know, like because it's Christmas time.
If it was two weeks randomly in like summer, I
may get over it. But because it's Christmas and there's
literally something going on almost every day, uh, and it's

(03:35):
all fun stuff for me, I don't feel that way.
And so I you know, and then there's other family
that I'm doing stuff with and things like that that
kind of brings up. Yeah, I went golfing, you know,
so I am doing stuff too. I'm not just sitting
at the house looking at my wife, you know, going
like like like Sky does.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Honestly, it's better when we're on vacation because he like
comes to terms that I'm like home and he's kind
of like talked out after the first day but yesterday,
you know, my first day back to work, returning home again,
he's following me around, updating me on what has happened.
I just want to read my book and take a bath,
and he's standing there.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
WHOA.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
So I actually had the realization it was it was
better during vacation because.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I because he was over you.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I think he was over me and he was used
to me being there the whole time, so I wasn't
gone and then coming back for an update every day.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Can twenty twenty six be the year you tell him
to get the hell away from you and give you
some for like, give.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Me ten bro.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Yeah, I get the wrong with that.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
One would think that when someone's talking and you put
your face in a book that they realized, oh.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
It doesn't matter the conversation. I get a little bit
of this. I was.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
I was pretty irritable yesterday. I mean that that three
thirty alarm came very abrupt, Yeah, yesterday, And so I
was irritable yesterday, and I knew that, and so I
tried to avoid any sort of confrontation or anything like that.
But I could be watching one of my shows or whatever,
and Deborah will come in and have no concept that

(05:05):
I'm clearly watching something and just start talking and then
I do the over dramatic grab the room up, put
it on mute or put it on pause, and then
look up like what sall do that?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
And so I sort of get that's solid.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
I think they would get when they start talking and
we don't turn our heads to engage, that that's some
sort of symbol to them, one would think, But not you.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
You being in a bathtub is that's so wild and
extreme of like like can I just can I just
be in here by myself for a minute.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
You close the door behind your bathtob like in your bathroom.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Sometimes I close the door, but I don't lock the door.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Is coming in. He's picking the lock. Yeah, so wild.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
So yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
So when it comes to divorces and cheating on your spouse,
they say, yes, the holidays realize you're unhappy, The holidays
make you realize you don't like your partner. And then
the final cherry on top is New Year's because New
Year's is a fresh start when we're told we're supposed
to make choices that lead to a better year, and
if that better year does not include your spouse, then

(06:19):
you may be calling a divorce lawyer this week.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Oh my gosh, well, so if you survive this week,
you're good.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
You're good. I don't know. That seems crazy. There you go,
