Speaker 1 (00:00):
Joining us right now is WWE Women's Champion, Jade Cargill.
How's it going, Jade? Going great?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
How are you all?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
We're fat? I should say, how's it going? Champ?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Oh? There?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Because listen, when you're the champion, you know, you get
you get a lot of perks and a lot of
different honors as well thrown at you. It's pretty cool
being champion.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Huh, yes it is, Yes, it is. But you know
what I always knew I was going to be champion,
So here I am.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
That is That's so true. That's so true. Jade. How
could you not meet champion? I mean when you when
we see you and when you, you know, show up,
and you know when you came to WWE, We're like,
any minute the belt is going to be on Jade.
I mean, she's just you look so awesome. You do
such a great job in the ring. It was kind
of a matter of time before you got the belt.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Exactly. You know. I was playing by the rules at first,
and so it got me nowhere and I had to
take things to my own hands and look at me now.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
You know. We just had the Survivor series here in
San Diego. What an I mean? It was one of
the coolest things I've ever been to in my entire life.
I've been a wrestling fan for most of my life,
but I've never seen anything like that. You know. Unfortunately
you weren't on the card, but were you? Were you
here in San Diego? Did you Did you get to
see how it looked?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I was not, but trust me, I was watching. I
was with my family. You know, we never get time
off like that that. I got a little bit of
time off giving. You know, we all sat about on
the TV and washed and it was a talk of
the town. We were excited about it, and I wish
I could have been a part of it. But you know,
things happened. But as far as I know, I think
it was the highest gross thing Survivor series that we've

(01:36):
ever had, and.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
That, yeah, that's very cool.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I mean, honestly, Jade, I don't know that they could
have put you in that war Games match. I would
be honestly scared for all the other women if you
were here that Wargames match. You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Do you see what I went through? Did you see
my scar? I can't handle anything weird?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm worried about the other
women in that War Games match. I mean, you you know, yeah,
you did get you know that banged up a little bit,
you know, prior to it. But I mean, if you're
in that cage with the with those other girls, I mean,
I'm honestly really afraid for their safety. They're done, you
know what.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I think they should all thank me that I wasn't
a part of it, the advantage of it that I wasn't
a part of it.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Let's just say that now, Jade, when there is a
big event like that and you're not booked for it,
do you get the fomo or are you actually like,
you know what, It's fine. I'm actually happy to be
at home and just chilling.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
No. What I had I had some fomo because last
year I was supposed to be a part of it
and I went through an injury, so I was pulled
from the card, and you know, so it's something that
I definitely want to check off. So it's one of
the pls that I have not been a part of. Okay,
I've been a part of. This is the one that
I definitely need to check off and I need to
have a match at So I had a little bit

(02:59):
of fomo. Yes, you know, you enjoy the time with
your family, but it's something that I want to check
off for sure.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Now when you wrestle in when you wrestle in a stadium,
how much? Because I was seeing that, I mean, the
entrances were so incredible. It was like being at a
rock concert. You know, you're just it's so loud and
so huge. How different is it wrestling in one of
those big stadiums.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
It's different, you know, because the noise goes up and
in arenas it bounces off the wall and you can
kind of hear it. It comes off to you, and
when you're in stadium it kind of travels up and
you don't hear as much. Even though it's super loud,
you don't hear it as much as you do in
arena arena arenas, it bounces off and you can hear

(03:44):
it all to where you can't even hear yourself think,
oh wow, loud in stadiums it's more so depending because
we're going to Vegas for estummating A forty two at
the Allegiance Stadium. They have a top that closed, so
it still goes up, but it still bounces off the top.
And comes down. Okay, But for a lot of stadiums
that are just wide open, you don't you hear it,

(04:07):
but you don't hear it as much as if you
were in arena.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
That's interesting because man, you could hear it in the stands,
that's for sure. Tickets are on sale now for both
for both WrestleMania Saturday and Sunday in Vegas, which is
April eighteenth and nineteenth, at ticketmaster dot com. We're so hyped,
we gotta go. You gotta go for it, one hundred
percent dream.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's a dream now, Jade Piggybacking off what Eddie said,
I watched WW unscripted, and one of the things that
Triple H told h jay Uso was, hey, you gotta
be careful because he was getting too they said, blown
up by the time he got to the ring. And
you don't look like you've had that issue because of
you're an incredible shape, But how do you control your

(04:46):
adrenaline being in front of seventy thousand people so then
when you're in the ring, you're not like out of
breath and having like a big adrenaline dump.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
You know, I never had that question asked before. Whoa
never had that question asking for I think it's just repetition,
you know, and just being to control the environment. You know,
my entire being is storm, right, so I'm able to
control my element and get people to stand up or
sit down. I I control how I react. I'm going

(05:18):
to control because I need I need people to register
what I'm doing and be able to act, and I
have to be able to sow things down. I think
repetition has helped me a lot to where I'm good
at what I do and I'm not going to overthink

(05:38):
what I'm doing because when you overthink that, yeah, that
makes sense.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
I can't imagine like the adrenaline rush and being in
front of seventy thousand people.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Your entrance, Yeah you don't. You don't run to the ring.
You're you're very controlled, so you can kind of, you know,
control yourself a little bit, right.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I mean, I run through the ring when I have
to beat somebody else, that's right. So, but you know,
the bigger the audience for me just speaking for myself,
the better I think, and I can really attach myself

(06:17):
more to my character and I can grow in SOMEI
It's just it's better for me because I feel it
more when it's a smaller audience. It's like you can
hear a pin drop, you know, you hear this matterie.
You can hear people talking and screaming, and you know,
people can our fans can get more into themselves and

(06:37):
they can really act up, and I like that. I
welcome them. I'm like, yes, like, please give me something. So,
you know, WrestleMania, which is like the grandest states of
them all, and we're gonna have it at the Allegiance
WrestleMania forty two. We're bringing it back to Las Vegas.
You know, it's it's something I cannot describe. It's our

(06:58):
super Bowl. You know, our crowds are I think last
year we grossed over one hundred and twenty thousand tickets
in two nights, and it's something that I can't compare to.
And the fact that I'm two and zero at this event,
it's something that it's crazy because every wrestler wants to
have this notch under their belt and only a select

(07:20):
few of people can be a part of this event.
So that's going to be awesome.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
And you know what, Jay One Jay, we had Mark
Henry in studio a couple of years ago. And we
were just talking about, you know, who's the next big thing,
who's the next big superstar, and he said you yeah.
I mean he was talking about you, you know obviously
when you were in ae W and you know, he
was saying, no, she is going to be the biggest

(07:46):
star in wrestling, and he was saying that way back when.
And so to see come to Fruition and you be
the WWE Women's Champion now, it is pretty wild to
think about that that Mark knew you were going to
be a star, even way back when.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
You know, Mark is one of the hardest people on me.
He just wants to see me that be the best
that I can be, and he's seen the vision before
I even did. I always knew I was going to
be a legend. That said I was going to be
a household name, and you know, I'm still getting to
that point. But I think everybody should experience me for
Wrestlemantia forty two coming to the Legion Stadium April eighteenth

(08:22):
and nineteenth, and you guys should get your tickets at
tickets dot com.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Absolutely we will, Jade, We're gonna come. We're gonna come
check it out. Thank you so much for your time
and congratulations on the championship and all your success.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Thank you, I appreciate it. Guys.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Absolutely there you go. Ww wins Champion Jade Cargill Jesus wow.
