Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, I don't know if you guys know this about
me or not. I'm a very particular man. Okay, it
may come as a shock. I'm very particular about certain things.
And so, uh, you know, like the way I like it, Okay,
and so I don't know if this was a faux
pall or not. It didn't seem to go over that well.

(00:21):
I thought I was helping. Apparently my wife didn't like that.
I kind of said to her that I didn't.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Really like the stuff she's buying me for Christmas.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Eddy, We ain't done yet.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
It's for the podcast, completely uncensored and uning filtered except
for that part.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
The show's after show starts.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Now, not everything one particular. Calm down, what.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
Did you say?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Hump the bricks?

Speaker 6 (00:55):
That's not nice.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Listen. It's all how you interpret thats.

Speaker 7 (01:00):
Okay, I didn't, It's all how you say.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah. I didn't say I don't like the stuff you
buy me. I didn't say that.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
What did you say?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
So every year Christmas we go crazy for each other,
you know, I mean, it's it is ridiculous, but it's
how we've always been. We're both big present givers, and
so to each other we go nuts same thing with
the kids too. But you know, I know what I'm
getting at Christmas time. You know, I know that there's
gonna be certain items that are going to be in
there that are sort of standard. Same with her, because

(01:28):
you kind of run out of ideas and so you're like,
all right, well what is she like?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I know she likes.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
You know, I got to get her a set of
pajamas or whatever, and so it's easy.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
She's not a robe chick. No, she's not really a
rope chick.

Speaker 8 (01:41):
That's like the easy robes are legit, Scott, that's all
you for. I feel like the of the running joke
for a mom is on Christmas, all mom's.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Guys a robe.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Oh yeah, like my fault.

Speaker 8 (01:54):
Every year my mom got a robe?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh really yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
My sister asked for a robe for me for Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
She gets it.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
Yeah, I got a nice fluffy one. It took a
couple of robes to get to the right robe. And
I wear it when I get out of the shower
and then I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
So cold, thank you, it's freezing. And then find a
spa great gift.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
It is a great gift.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
You hate it.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
If I had a spot where it fit. What am
I supposed to put it in my bathtop?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Like?

Speaker 6 (02:26):
Where am I going to put.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
You in it?

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
In your room?

Speaker 5 (02:28):
You've the husband sitting there by the door the whole
time is shower and he'll bring you in a warm towel.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
Just stand there with it, so I wear the robe then.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Sorry, and also in and out of the spa.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Thank you for asking, okay, which everyone, that's great.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Uh so, yeah, I you know, I know what I'm getting.
I know she's getting for the most part, things like that. Well,
obviously there's other things. But a standard gift for me,
and you guys know this because you guys do this
a lot too, is T shirts.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I'm a big graphic T shirt. We can't.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I have over seventy graphic T shirts that hang in my.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Closet, and you get rid of them, like you have.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
To I rotate them out.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
Yeah, you'll get rid of So seventy isn't like his
collection forever.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
It's just what's in your my regular rotation.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
So you won't see like if I wear a shirt,
you won't see it again for two months, over two months.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
It is crazy.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Yeah, it's a little risky though, to get your graphic
teas sometimes because I always I've done it before where
I bought you something you.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Well you bought.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I'm like, the last year, you bought me that Yoda
shirt that I had worn already for you know, multiple years,
and I'm like, you don't remember this, And then as
soon as I opened it and I said that, you went,
oh yeah, no, I think they do remember.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
So now I'm scarred for life because now I don't
get it.

Speaker 8 (03:46):
Yeah, I never have.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I think outside the box you have. Recently, recently I.

Speaker 8 (03:52):
Got some I got some good websites down Yeah, my
go to I got only a sick birthday gift there
so doesn't warn it. But I got her a sick birthday.

Speaker 6 (03:59):
What was it?

Speaker 8 (04:00):
The sanding of vintage padres.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I love it, by the way, I just haven't worn
it because I have to wear it with jeans and
a white T shirt. I can't wear with black leggings
because it's brown and tan. There's a whole thing I
want to wear it.

Speaker 8 (04:11):
Actually, that made me feel better.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Okay, Hey, and my jeans don't fit me right now,
my blue jeans.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
You only have one pair of jeans.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
They're all too little, too small, what happened, So I
needed to get what happened Momo forty two and her
body started to change.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh, they didn't drink.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
They didn't drink.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
You know, I've had them for years.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
So that's where we're at with that.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
And I actually knew you were going to say something
like that, so I've been thinking about telling you that.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Don't at least you don't hate it like Sky hates.
I don't tell I actually love me.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
I wish I had.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
She took a ship. Yeah, once you warm that up.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Okay, I like that.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I wish you wouldn't want watched we take a ship
in this tower. You thought that was the perfect What
am I.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Supposed to buy a new fucking house?

Speaker 7 (04:56):
So just.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
She's a two hundred suare foota.

Speaker 7 (05:01):
Yeah, seriously, why, I like, literally, I have I get
so cold getting out of water.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
I have to have the towel right by the edge.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Of the spa, And but it can't be right by
the edge of the spa because it needs power because
it's a towel warmer. What am I going to run
an extension court through my backyard?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
It's not nice?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Uh So, Yeah, So graphic t's is a standard gift
for me, and I get it, and you know, I
appreciate them. I love them. That's what I wear every day.
They're fantastic. Well, I had noticed that over the years.
Deborah has a kind of go to place to get
graphic ts, which is mainly Coals. She's a big Coals chick. Yeah,

(05:47):
loves shopping at Coals and not no offense Coals, but
you if you go to Coals, they have their little
graphic tea section today and they're all very.

Speaker 9 (05:57):
Geneticiously target almost exact same way, and everyone has Well,
if you know me, I like my graphic t's to
be kind of unique, Like I want somebody to go, oh,
that's a cool shirt.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (06:14):
I get that a lot with my some of my
shirts like my like my like eminem shirt, my wrestling shirt.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I guess you Scatterbou shirt.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
People love that people.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
I was rearing by Austin three sixteenth shirt the other
day and some went, oh nice shirt.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Okay, you're ripping shirt.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
That's a great one.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
So yes, I you know, I take pride in my shirts.
You know, I would like to be you know, nobody's
just gonna look at a shirt that just as Star
Wars and go cool shirt just as star Wars. And
that's kind of what she gets me for birthdays and
Christmas is these generic coals nurtures and I just I

(06:56):
don't really care for those and just and it's hard
for me to fain excitement. If I just open up
a regular shirt that just says marvel on it, I'm like, Okay, cool,
I can't wait to wear this.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Do you think.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
I have a hard time doing it?

Speaker 9 (07:12):
Do you do?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
You wipe your ass with it?

Speaker 1 (07:14):
No, I'm not that I still will wear it.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
I'm not a piece of shit, you know.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
I mean, I'm not a piece of it.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I still appreciate the thought. God, you know, Jesus was perfect.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
So I thought this year I got to put an
end to this because I don't want any more of
these shirts, no.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Offense, I mean.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
And so I have probably about seven or eight websites
that I go to that have some of the deep
cuts and some of the more unique T shirt stuff
that I was like, you know what I'm gonna do.
I'm going to compile these and I'm going to send
her an email basically saying, Hey, if you are looking
to get me a grabic T shirt in the future,
hold on to this and you can shop on these

(07:57):
because this is where I get a lot of my shirts.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I thought that that was a great.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
Idea, and that's how you did. That's how exactly it
went out.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Okay, but I you know, she didn't mention it, and
so I said, hey, you know, did you get that email?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
And she goes, yeah, I got it.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
She knew what you were doing. She knew what you
were fucking.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
So it didn't go over well, and I thought that
would be nice.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
See.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
I think the only way you could have got away
with it is if you would have sent her like
one site and been like, I just found this site,
like we got to do a little.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
She knows me better.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
I'm actually, I'll be honest with you, I'm actually concerned
that she just sees the website and then still somehow
gets you wrong t shirts.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Oh that is a good possibility. First of all, she
may buy it out of spite. You know, she'd be like,
fuck you, Eddie, I'm gonna get you a coold shirt
because you're old Navy. Yeah, where's an old Navy shirt? Anyway,
that could happen. It also could happened because we're the same,

(09:01):
you know, with our gift giving. She may have bought
me a shirt months ago and has put it in
her Little Stars legitimately, maybe that and so if I
opened that, and then I'm gonna be I'm gonna be hurt.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
My feelings hurt.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, because I'm like, you didn't take my advice for
getting these things in them, get this standard shirt.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
You're making it easy. That's what I love it when
people send me ideas or send me a link.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
And I'm not asking for specific You could pick the shirt.
I know, like, I know people like sometimes will send
links to the actual item.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
I mean you, I mean my daughter's power point Christmas
list presentation should do that links directly.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
I mean, I want to be a little bit down.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
No, I don't think that's gonna I don't think that
would go over well at all.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
That would be amazing.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
T shirt is a T shirt?

Speaker 1 (09:55):
See that again, I don't think. I don't think it would.
I don't think it would.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
So h, I don't. I don't know where I went
wrong here. I thought I thought so.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
I thought it was a great idea. What's your problem?

Speaker 7 (10:07):
Yeah, I think I get it, Like, because I'm just
saying she.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
Knows she knows what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I mean, I do have your bay.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Is that wrong?

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Like you know what I'm doing? Yes, and yeah, I'm
doing something. Why would I want to wear something that
I don't like when don't you want me to wear
something that I do like?

Speaker 4 (10:25):
But you?

Speaker 6 (10:26):
But you know what the subtext is.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
The subtext is you give me shitty shirts right, Oh
my god,
