Speaker 1 (00:00):
So we heard during new releases at the end of
the show here that Thor has a new PS five.
He's got himself a new PS five. He still has
his old PS four that he's trying to hawk off
on poor Emily over here.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
You know where the controller is.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
The power I'll find it.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So you got this new PS five and like Thour
a little bit of an addictive personality here where he's
now locked into one particular game.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
It's time for the podcast year completely uncensored and uncing
filtered except for that part the.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Now, Hey, listen, I get it. I can't say anything
about it. I limit myself to like a game here
because I get so locked in and I can't stop
until I finish. And I don't even want to see
my family because I just all I think about is
wanting to play my game. And so I know this
about myself. So like once a year, I'll play a
game and then sorry, I'll see you. It's about two weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Do you have one up next? Like one on deck
wild question.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I'm surprised you'd never played fall Out before?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
No, I never did.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
My buddy thinks it's like the greatest game ever.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
It's probably up.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
He just let me borrow it.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, because last of us. You know, I'm watching the
series right now. I kind of want to go back
and play the game again just to remind myself of
like different things that are going on in the series.
But I have like seventy five games at home that
I've never even opened, So I'm like, I can't go
back and play another game before I start playing these games.
So I don't know, I'll figure out a game here
as soon as the baseball season ends, then I'll start

(01:51):
playing the game. But there's a game that throws into
right now that he's locked. This is all he's been
doing as of late that I've I've been in this before. Yeah,
I've done this many times.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Yeah, I've been locked into MLB The Show twenty twenty
three game. So like growing up, like my life growing up,
especially this time of year, was playing baseball, practicing baseball,
playing with football, or playing MB the Show, Like those
are the four things I did.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
But my buddies, NonStop, that's all we did.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
And we would it would, yeah, and it would, and
it would rotate between with the Ball and MB Show
and then we'd play baseball at night because if we
had the games at night. So I kind of fell
off video games for years, and then I got this.
I just finally got this like man cave, and it
got this nice TV and a sound system and all
my sports stuff is up, and I thought the last
thing I needed to complete it was a PS five this.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, because this is not like you. You're not a
video game guy. You don't like to spend money on fun.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
How much?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
How much?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
It's like five hundred bucks?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Pretty purchase there.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I actually got mine for four fifty.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Okay, well hookup.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
No from yeah Johnscas again, it's incredible.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
He is the best. So no, I got the TV.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
You don't even want to know how much the TV was.
I don't want the TV and the sound system.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
You can't buy a coffee in this fucker. You don't
a million dollar TVs?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I don't. I don't buy expensive things. I don't.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Okay, when was the last time motorcycles? I don't buy?

Speaker 6 (03:24):
I mean expen, I mean you don't sold the plane
sold the at some point, but I took it alone.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Okay, it's still cost and.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
The Viory and Lulu I haven't bought any new Viewory
and Lulu and like.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
But you have bought it, that's the point.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
But I thought you all the time you're a fancy boy.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Speak fancy boy. Where's your watch?

Speaker 6 (03:47):
I just remembered, I'm only wearing at the gym. I'm
only using it as like a workout thing. I just
my wife got the.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Smaller face plate for it, and it's kind only one.
I want the bigger one.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
Yeah, but it's so I only use it really for
the gym stuff and keep my progress.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
But listen, you know Emily keeps track of everything that
you're gonna be doing because you and her have this
ongoing battle.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
No, it's really annoying.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
You participated.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
I got this PlayStation and now, like usually during the day,
if I don't go to the gym, then if I'm
just taking the day off, then I just I have
I have really not a lot to do because most
of my friends are working, or if I'm going to
do something later, it's later, so I've I got three
hour window doing nothing. That's why I got this PlayStation
because I don't want to be on my phone anymore,
and I'm not gonna watch I don't watch new shows
by myself. So I was just always kind of just

(04:44):
sitting around. So I have this PlayStation and will be
the Ship, and I've been.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Walked into March season mode.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
So I'm doing March to October right now. So that's
the season mode.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
So you play.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
So when I was a kid, you literally played every.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Game, nine innings of every game.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
So the way it is now though, unless I have
to change a setting, they start you in like the
sixth inning or the fifth inning or the seventh inning,
and then they give you scenarios of like it's a
two team, it's two to one, and you have to
come back and win.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Because I play. When I play m Be the Show,
I play a full season, all season long, all nine innings.
It's a full hour to play the whole one game.
It takes a full hour, and but I loved it.
It was so much fun, so that.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
You play a whole season. Now, question about this game,
because you know, I haven't seen games like this since,
like my brother was playing games. Do you are you
playing as a member of a team, Like.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Are you you're the whole team?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
You're the whole, the whole team. Oh, you're the whole
you do the whole line? Yeah, and the culture. Yeah,
so there's multiple things you could do though.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
You can create your own guy and play just as
that guy and start in the miners.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
People cheat when they do that, Yeah, she's all tens,
you know, the perfect player, Like you create their stats, No,
you create their Okay.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
It is pretty cool though, when you play as one
guy and you're like the left fielder and you're watching
the game.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
That is pretty crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Boring game ever.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Game.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
But but like and then with the March to October,
you do like trades and you can scout prospects and stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
But I'm not going to do all that, so.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
It gets really in depth. But one of the reasons I.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
Knew so much about all the players back then because
there was no MLB ticket, I only could watch Yankee
and Met games.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Growing up. I knew all.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
About the players because I would play the show so much,
so I knew every player on every team. So I've
been getting really back into baseball for how much fun
it was.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
And I'm playing the game.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I'm locked in. I'm in the A. L. D. S. Yankees.

Speaker 6 (06:41):
Obviously, I'm the Yankees versus the Indians.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
They're not.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Oh, the Guardians.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
American.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I mean, I mean, I am Native Americans. They were
the Indians for so long. Sorry, you're gonna talk about
the Washington football team too.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Out.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
So I'm locked in and it's game two. I'm up
one to own the series, and I'm locked in, and
my my, well, my wife's biggest fear was she dated
a guy in the past who was obsessed with video games,
so she only she would try to hang out them
and do stuff with them and ruin their relationship. So
she's been nervous about me getting a video game. And
I'm like, I'm not like that. So I'm playing this

(07:23):
video game. It's zero zero, we go to the tenth,
and then in the in the eleventh, I give up
a run.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
It's one nothing.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
I'm down. She calls me and says, hey, dinner's ready.
But it's one nothing. It's the eleventh, bottom of the eleventh.
I'm at home at Yankee Stadium. I can't just stop.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
I could I could?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I could resume game, Yeah you can. Also you could.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
You could save an exit too, well, yeah you can
save it, but but I'm locked in.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
So she says, dinner's ready.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Allay one second. So just like the boyfriend, yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
One nothing, bottom of the eleventh, I have Paul Goldschmidt up.
I crank a two run shot, a one run shot,
solo shot left center home run, tie the game.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I'm freaking out. I'm pumped.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I'm like, I'm amped up.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I just tied it in the eleventh. I can't believe it.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
I'm so excited. Actually I did it. Yeah, but I
timed it right.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
I can't.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
Because if you guess the pitches, it gives you a
better idea of what you're gonna how to hit.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
And I could not hit the slider, Like, I just
can't hit the slider.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
But I knew it was coming. I stayed back. You
time aim where you want, Well, you have to. You
have to line up where the ball is going to be.
So slider's gonna.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Check out the spin. Yeah, come on, you idiot. So
I hate the solo shot.

Speaker 6 (08:55):
I'm pumped. She tells me, dinner's ready. I go, it's
gonna have to wait. I'm tied at one right now, dude,
and I think I think I'll be able to finish
this game pretty quickly goes to the twelve what no
score goes to the thirteenth by of the thirteenth She's
legitimately pistol ready because was ready. She's eating without made

(09:16):
carne sada nachos and those aren't good.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Yeah, yeah, we saw get them out.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
What are we doing?

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Man?

Speaker 3 (09:22):
I'm locked in.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
I got Aaron Judge up to run home run, win
the game in the thirteenth inning.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I'm fucking amped up. I'm like, let's go.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
I'm screaming, let's go. I don't know by Watson's sitting
in the refiner next to me. It's like his recliner now,
so he knows he's pumped, you know. So I put
the video game down, walk into the living room where
our table is, and I'm like, didn't dine tables, And
I'm like, let's go, Haley, I just won. This is crazy.
I'm trying to tell her about it, and she could

(09:51):
give a fuck. It's a video game.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, but that I don't care.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
I don't care about some of the stuff that she
does when she when she when she does something new on.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Her horse, she physically did it herself.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Hold on, you are the king of talking to people
about things that nobody cares about. You will talk to
Sky NonStop about the giants, and you know, she doesn't
give a fuck about football, but you don't care. You
just have to spew.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
You don't even understand what you.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Talk about fantasy football to people who don't play football.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
You talk about all of these things to people you talk.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Do you not talk to your wife about fantasy football?
Does she not care?

Speaker 3 (10:31):
She cares?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
She does not care to talk to her about a
video game.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
But she likes baseball. Okay, but this isn't real baseball said, you.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Didn't do anything. That's not true.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
I knew a curveball was I timed it out perfectly
and hit a two run shot to win the game
the thirteen.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
That good job, little buddy.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
She did not the final bost. No, you didn't.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
Okay, from now on, when she does something with her
horse or right school, right now, I don't want to
hear about it.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
That's a pretty big deal.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
You don't want to hear about it. I don't want
to hear about it.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
If you get an a on a paper, tell somebody
who cares. Okay,
