Speaker 1 (00:00):
Have you, guys, ever had a situation with your partner
where they do something so weird and you just can't
explain it, and they think they're helping, and you go, what.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Are you what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yes, yes, yes, I know, and guy, yes, I know.
You know Door I know knows exactly what I'm talking about.
So I had one of these things that happened yesterday
where I looked at my wife and I go.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
What are you doing? And I have to talk about
it because it was so strange. We ain't done yet.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It's time for the one podcast Find you over a
year completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.
The show's after show starts now. So I am sort
of the anti Boo where the Boo Sky's husband always

(00:57):
has projects. Always I never have projects. That's my goal
in life is to never have a project.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I like that goal.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
That's good, Yeah, And so I'm very rarely have things
like that home improvement stuff ever. But for some reason
I got involved in a lighting project outside and so
I noticed that, like maybe a month or so ago,
that my wife had bought these little small solar lights

(01:28):
for our outside front yard. And I they don't even
really light up, like they're so small. Yeah, and they're
like they're they're barely lit.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I have found thought they were broken.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
I found with solar lights, either they're like good and
you're like this is fucking amazing, or it's the cheapest,
worst piece of ship and there's nothing in between.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Well, you know, Deborah goes cheap.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I could see her at the dollar store like.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
A twelve pack yea, the tiny little soil lights, and.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I know she was waiting to check out.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Well, and I'm like I remember, because you know, I
leave in the dark, you know, at four o'clock in
the morning, and I remember seeing that. I'm like, there,
it's not even lit up, Like why are we why
are we even having these? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Because the cheap, crappy ones won't hold the charge all
the way to the morning, So probably they are lit
up to like ten PM.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
And the last guy that takes the dog out at
night at around nine o'clock and I don't even see
him lit up then. So I don't know if they're
broken or they're they're so faint that they do nothing.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Yeah, I've had shitty solar lights because you know, I
changed a little bit, but I used to be a
big like dollar.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
Tree that was an Amazon purchase. That was a bad purchase.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Now we are taking the film off them, right because yeah, okay,
I'm just making sure. I don't know they're so cheap
because the first ones I ever put in, I didn't
realize the solar panel has a clear film on the top,
and you don't take it off, it won't get the charge.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yeah, So I decide just kind of randomly, all right,
I gotta fixed this issue because this is terrible. And
so I bought a batch of new ones that are
bigger and they you know, like they're I don't know.
I was hoping they would be better and whatever, So
I don't know, you know until you get them.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
So I bought them.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I placed them around the property and they worked fantastic.
They hold the charge. They really illuminated and like the
So I bought like a six pack and they were great.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Didn't need a plastic film.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I didn't do that. I didn't do that. I didn't
even see a plastic film, so.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
I missed it the first time around.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So I go, we need more of these.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
This is great, And so I bought like six more,
put them around the property and I was like, man,
these are fantastic, And so I was like, probably more
spots around here. Now I'm now, I'm locked in. Now
I got a project.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I'm relating the whole place, the whole place.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I feel like I found my calling. Yeah, which I'm
not really doing anything but shoving them in the dirt,
but that's it.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
They make such a difference my time, Like they look
so good.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yeah, and I could kind of feel a slight you know,
I don't know if she's irritated, but like the fact
that I'm doing this and replacing her terrible story of lights.
She made a bad purchase and I made a great one,
like a kind of she's.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
A little bit bothered by that, but she's done.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
She's giving me the oh that's great, you know kind
of but not like I'm like, look how great this
looks and it's great, and she goes, what are you
gonna do with the old ones? I'm not tossing the
fucking suck? Yeah, build a trap, Like what do you mean?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
What am I suck? So whatever, it is, what it is.
And so I was like, I'm buying more. I'm buying.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Oh yeah, man, Like nobody's gonna be able to sleep
in my house because of these things are gonna be
so little, so I end up by another back. And
so these are ones where you take the top and
you screw them on the bottom of the part with
a stake in and you so you have to kind
of put them together. And so I got them a
couple of days ago, put them together, and then sort
of just left them on the living room floor, the

(05:10):
room that would none of us go in the front room,
and so I left him in there until I had
time to go out there.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
And figure out. Now I don't even know where I.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Have room left to put them kind of a little bit,
but not a ton like, so I'm just gonna be
randomly staking these things all over the place, like I
don't care in the backyard whatereverybe take it right in
a pillow.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Like whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
So I'm gonna figure out. But I haven't really thought
about it yet, you know. But I'm gonna figure it out,
and you know, it's my project. So yesterday I'm on
the couch watching TV when all of a sudden, I
hear the front door open and then close, and then
I see walking across the front window Debra holding three
of the.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Lights and I'm like, where the fuck is she going
with my lights? Like, what is going on here?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Your lights? Now?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Well, bottom, it's been my project. Yes, yes, they're my lights.
He's done, and I have you know, it's been my plan.
I'm the one who's doing it.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Yea. And where is she going with those lights?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Where is she going?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I have no idea. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I'm just like, what this is weird? So she comes
back in and I go, what are you doing? How
did you go with my lights? She goes, your lights?
And I go, well, yeah, I go, I get it.
There are property. But I'm the one that bottom, and
I'm the one that's been placing them. I have a plan.
I go, so where did you go with them? She goes, Oh,

(06:37):
I thought they look good over here. Oh okay, what.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
The fuck is that? I go?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I mean, I've been doing this this whole time. This
is my project. I bought them.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
You're just now going to take over? What the fuck
was I thought I'd help?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Oh, help, ask for help, help sticking them in the ground, Like,
what are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Well, I think she clearly wants them in a certain spot, right.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Well, I think she might have been a little bit
embarrassed that her terrible lights didn't work with the film
still on them. Yeah, apparently, and that she wants to
now be like, oh, I put him in the best spot. Yeah,
what do you think I was gonna put them? Of
course I was going to put him there, Like, what
do you? I don't I didn't ask for your help.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
It was weird.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
So it really got you, got you going.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I was.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I was kind of irritated, and then she's irritated at
me because she's not allowed to do that. What do
you I'm not saying you're not allowed to do it,
but I mean if you bought some stuff and you've
been doing it, I'm not just gonna go do it
without saying, hey, do you want me to help you
put these up somewhere?

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Yeah, I'm not just going to go do it, right,
that's psychotic.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
I agree. I feel like because I love your wife,
don't get me wrong, but I feel like when somebody
takes the lead on a project and when they started,
they're like the foreman and you now need to consult
them about any changes. If you're jumping the.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Boo and his shelves putting up for five years like fifteen, Yeah,
can you imagine if you just got in there and
hung up a shelf right, Like, what the are you doing?
I've been I've been measuring this shelf for twelve years.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Seriously, he has.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Not quick there.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Yeah, and I just slap it somewhere.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yes, it's not measured twice cut once. It measures seven
hundred and fifty times. That may be cut.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's so true.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
But but honestly, it's the boo doing this to me. Well, like,
so we've talked in the past.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
He knows you're gonna leave film on like a idiot.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
He's got to help you out.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
He did look at me like I was a fucking idiot.
When I'm like, name, all our solar lights are broken?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Why are they turning?

Speaker 4 (08:37):
He's like, did you take the film off?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
And like can you fucking blame them? Whatver?

Speaker 4 (08:44):
No, But he does this with me like daily, because
you know how I well what but I'm like on
a lower level but still just as annoying I feel
and infuriating. So you know how I've told you before,
like I'll get home from work and since he's staying
at home, he's so excited to talk to me and
tell me, like every minutia about the new fucking door

(09:06):
handle he put in and how it's no longer a
spring one and they don't make it anymore. And that's
what I currently I For the last three days, I've
been hearing about door handles.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
So anyway, who in their right mind would be interested
in that? I don't know. Nobody don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
He wants let me know the update on the door
handles that he's been working on.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Your Okay, I just I just came home from work.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
So he'll like kind of follow me right. Well, Sometimes
when I'm doing things around the house, the same thing
will happen. So I'll be like loading the dishwasher, and
then I'll go to grab a dirty pan off the sink,
and I'll turn around and he's in the sink starting
to put dishes in the dishwasher, or he's sane whoa whoaa,

(09:50):
or or I'll be like I'll be I'll be unloading
the dryer right, clean clothes in the laundry basket, so
you know what my next step is to take the
wet clothes and put him in a job. All of
a sudden, thank you for saying he'll scoop behind me,
go to the washer, open the door, and like stand

(10:10):
there on the ready and I'm like, this is a
one person process here.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
You didn't ask him to help. I mean, I mean, I.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Like when people help me, but there's certain areas I
don't need help.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
And it's weird when it's a one person job. Right,
you don't need the help.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
One person job.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I'm sure you turned around and said to him, right,
he said, excuse me, I'm doing this project.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
This is my job right now. That'd be nice. You
would say, what the fuck are you doing?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yes, that's right, right, what the fuck are you doing?
I know how to load the washing machine and dry, like,
you don't need to be here.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Like grabbing the up, grabbing this pan wasn't my last
thing to do.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Struggling carrying something and you want to come help.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I don't know if you should yell back the fuck up?

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Absolutely would, she absolutely would. But yeah, in this case,
I just don't understand it. I don't know, does this
happen to you? Kind of not really, to be honest,
because Robert, he's afraid he's gonna kill
