Wow. We have an update,you guys. When last we heard,
man Emily's son Reid had a newgirlfriend. They had never hung out really
wait official, Yeah, they werea boyfriend girlfriend Okay. Emily took him
one time, weirdly to her softballgame. Emily really got in there.
Red introduced himself to her parents,which was a wild yeow. There was

all kinds of crazy stuff going on, but they've never really gone out on
a date. We have an updateon what's going on with the Riz and
his latest love life. We ain'tdone yet. It's time for the one

wasn't stalking her. I would justwalk back and forth in front of her

in the bush and watch he was. It was so innocent and beautiful,

had I dated an older gal Ohworked at McDonald's with me in the company
obviously under me since I was literallyokay, I was er. Some would
say, did I give for thebest shifts? Yes? Did you report
it to the arch, the GoldenArch to let them know that, Hey,

the Golden Arch called their HR department, right, Golden ar. No,
we don't make sure that they knewwhat was going on. No,
did your manager Bill, Yeah,he had heard some rumblings. Oh maybe

That Bill's probably been down that road. Okay. That was my first real

girlfriend. So I was like fifteensixteen right now, you know, and
and you know, some would sayit was pretty serious. Oh we did
it. That was when I lostmy virginity. So I lost sixteen to
her at McDonald's. No, wewere hi girl. Yeah, my god,
I wish we were still I wishwe were still family. You're married?

And did you forget Monique so quickly? Yeah? I did. I
moved on by sixth grade. Ihad a lot of crushes, but I
could never I didn't have the rizman, I didn't have many do it.
It was crazy, is incredible,it really is at this age to
have that kind of confidence to talkto girls like that. That just he

plows through them. Okay, someonesay he runs a train right through that
play. He used to like trade, but that's a different, different,
different different now he like now helikes used to like garbage man trains,

things like that, all the bigsemi trucks whenever they streets, sweepers,
big streets. He went from garbagetrucks and trains, tits and as yeah
girls, good man girls. Solatest we had heard he's got a girlfriend,
another new summer fling, and theyhad never really hung out. He

went to one of her softball games, like she was you and she was
playing, so they didn't hang out. Yeah, like a brief meet up
and that was about it. Likeliterally minutes talk every day on like Snapchat
or something like that. Yeah,that started. That started a snapchat.
But then obviously they got they changedyou to the regular phone numbers, and
so they'd be on FaceTime like allthe time together. Wow, but never
actually went out. No, Sowhat's the update? Never actually went out?

So this past weekend I got abit of an update. I think
it was on Friday when I gotthe update that I'm about to tell you
guys, And that's when my sonReid came in and told me he was
in a tizzy his friend, uhwas spending the night. His friend was
over spending the night. So itwas like in the afternoon or evening,

and that's when he was in abit of a tizzy, just like a
hubbub between him and his friend.And they were like, oh, no
way, look at that text.Look at this text. Oh what did
she say? What did he say? All this stuff. It turns out,
I guess the girl he was withtold his girlfriend. His girlfriend told
Reid she didn't like him as anymore. She likes another boy more. Whoa

boy more? You don't just saythat, So she broke up with him.
So she broke up with him.I know, Eddie, that's insane.
It's heartbreaking. Not really. Youdon't break up with the wizard,
No, you don't. And thenif you do break up with the guy,
you don't tell him that it's becauseyou like somebody else more text.

Yeah, the whole relationship. No, I'm not one hundred percent on that.
I'm not one hundred percent. Ifthere was a phone call followed up,
if one thing came before the other, if they even talked on voice,
I don't know that answer. Sadbut it was it wasn't anything like
probably a big explanation. I thinkshe just said that, and I think
he was pissed about it, andI don't know how he exactly handled it.

Or the fact that they never actuallywent out? Is this smile? Is

it even a real relation? Itwasn't like that. Yeah, it wasn't
really really really like what you guyssaying. But like also his reaction was
everything to me, Like he didn'tseem that affected by it, and like
it is pretty emotional if he isfeeling emotions. So if he was feeling
that way, I would have known, Okay, Like he doesn't hide things
like that. If he's upset aboutsomething, he would have told me he's
probably got a weird relationship with womenbecause of you. That's just blatant.

well, or he's just he's justlike whatever because he's already got his main
squeeze at home mom. Mom's alwaysgoing to be there for him, you

Now when he was sad from thebreakup, did you start singing him

and uh, I don't know whateverthe girl's name was, broke up Sandy,

Yes, Sandy. Family immediately goes, daddy loves you. It's a
beautiful it's a soothing song, andI let you know everybody loves you,
which is so nice to hear thatafter Monique, to which I could have
came in and said angel song toyou. Now, I still have some

lingering issues from that. No angelsongs for I didn't need to really get
in there in that way Sky becauselike literally he was not He had this
good thing you got too. Sothey were able to go out and ride
by a couple of Yeah, yeah, go to a bar. I need

then comes Saturday, and on Saturdaywe had plans to go out on the
boat and take the boat out onSaturday day gotto, and so we did

dollars later in the season. We'refinally getting to go. It's worked.
I'm knotting on big time because it'sworked the last few times we've taken it

We're on the bay floating around.It's awesome. Here we go, Floatopia,
Here we go. We park ourboat at one of our favorites,

And we were at Paradise Point andthat's when my son read Will Robert

and I go and get a beverageat Paradise Point Barefoot Bar while the boat
is stocked there read you docked theboat. We're out of here. We
talked the boat first and that's whatReid and his friend take off. Like
when you're at the Barefoot bar.Right to the left is the beach,
right, say hey man, let'sget out of here before they start fighting.
Yeah, ye, no, halfwaytrue. They take off. They

take off down the beach to theleft to go like play on the sand
and go swim in the bay shoreright there. And that's when Reid comes
running back, like I don't know, twenty minutes later, comes running back
and he goes, Mom, you'renever gonna go to who's here? And
I go, oh, And hegoes this girl who was the girl that
kicked off the Riz in the firstplace from Paradise Point last summer, that

chick he got the number, Thechick he got the number from who like
on the beach together when they sawbut the Danny I remember, Yeah,
basically I think that might have happened. Yeah, And so he says that

she's here, her family's here.They're super pumped because they like had connected
on Snapchat. But like we talkrandomly once in a while, you know
what I mean, but just alwayswere just friends since all that wait,
since he matter back then, Imean, this is the not even twenty
four hours later, already moved.Kid doesn't give a funnest about nothing.
What the hell? Remember his veryfirst girlfriend he breaks up with on graduation

day, which was really fast thismorning because he wanted to move on to
another girl that day that day.Yes, that's crazy, I always got
someone. Breaks up with the girltwenty four hours later, runs into a
runs into Yeah, another chick girlfrom last sum don't say it. Well,
you gotta we gotta breathe. Thisguy's a relationship guy get tied down.

Well, that's when he goes hangsout at the beach. We go
and move the boat to go meetup with some friends in that cove.
Well I wasn't No, I shouldn'thave been driving, Robert right, Rober
okay, And so we go meetup. And that's when Reid comes back
to go to our friends that wewere hanging out with left him who read,

Oh, he was on the bayand our boat was going to be
docked up to another boat like likelike twenty feet from the where he was.
Can you sit? I mean,we're doing this is like two thirty.
I wasn't that wrong. I don'tdrink and drive, so I wasn't
yeah, yet yesterday, I guessI was a couple drinks, shut up,

water, shut the fuck up.And so that's what Reid comes over
to the boat anyway, they literallythey're from here to from here to that,
and he comes swimming over and that'swhen he pulls aside and goes,
oh my gosh. He goes,I think so and so actually likes me,
and I like her and I wanther to be my girlfriend. That's

not how it works. That's nothow it works. He needs to stop.
Like even when I was and Iwould like a girl, I wouldn't
immediately ask if there be my girlfriend? Like they don't even Why is he
so possessive over these? I don'tthink he asked, but he's getting the
vibe. But then, but don'tyou say, Reid, why don't you
hang out toward hangout there before youmake her? Do you know what being

a girlfriend is? I say that? What does he say to No,
we like each other. We likeeach other. Yeah, he knows thet
He brushes it off. He doesn't. He's not hearing what I'm saying,
nor does he care. I'm tryingto. So he thinks if he like,
he thinks, if you like someoneand they like you your immediate boyfriend
and girlfriend. Yeah, yeah,I think that's where the way it is
with kids his age. I don'tremember that when I was a kid.

When I was a kid, Iwouldn't we say we're going out. That's
what we used to say. Yeah, we're going out. But what does
that mean? You eventually would bea girlfriend like we wouldn't. We wouldn't.
We wouldn't date anybody else, butI wouldn't call her my girlfriend.
No, it took you would takea little while. Yeah, I don't
know if kids are like I knowmy niece is the same age as Read,
and it's kind of like that inher world. In Point Loma,

it's like even a different area.But who knows. I think technology has
changed a lot of stuff. Rememberhow you would tell us that you can
basically hook up on the first datebecause you do so much groundwork on the
app. I think it's the samewith the kids. Their boyfriend girlfriend immediately
because they're talking every guys in thisworld. She she's in it so much.
You're so in your daughter's social life. Okay, hang out with and

you hang out with her friends.Guys. Guy is the one telling him
what to text. Okay, Idon't do it. Actually, I actually
respect what this guy's saying because sheknows I don't. I agree with Emily.
I hear the same type of thingsof like literally they talked for two
days and now their boyfriend girlfriend forever. It's like, okay, yeah,

forever, be together till the endof time. Yeah, so Saturday,
there's a buzz about it. SundayI got some official words that that no,
not official, official official. Ohbut but the fact, But that's
his girl right now, Like,that's that's who he's who he's talking to.
He wants only has eyes for her, he wants her to be his

girlfriend, and he's probably gonna askher this weeks is she allowed to wear
a T shirt? Is only sweatshirts? Only? Now will they actually be
able to hang out? Well,funny you say that, Eddie, because
they've actually planned to hang out daythe first in person, just them,
one on one, and it's happeningthis Thursday. They're going to the movies.

Oh now, the last girl.Remember we had the whole conversation where
Emily insisted to be in the theaterat the same time and she thought it
was wild when We were like,no way, that's super weird. Will
you allow them to go to themovies by themselves? Did we get in
