Speaker 1 (00:00):
Went to the movies yesterday. Guys, really, movie guy?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Saw the F one movie? The Brad Pitt movie that
you were supposed to go see this week?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I wanted to go.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I actually went.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I wanted to go.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Can I explain?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
No, it happened.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
And my wife was tired.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, she's pregnant.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
But here's the thing, though, you know, you know now,
whenever she doesn't want to do something, she says she's tired.
I don't know if she actually doesn't want to do
it or she's actually tired.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
So I can't say anything else. Didn't do anything, No,
it was no, we didn't.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
We did something Thursday and that was really And then
we watched the movie playing on Netflix with Gerard But
that was great, great.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Well, the how we decided on F one is the
real story here, because there was a lot of cooks
in the kitchen and trying to decide what we're gonna watch.
So I'll tell you how we ended up in that spot.
We ain't done yet podcast over a year, completely uncensored

(01:05):
and unacting filtered except for that part the.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
The show's after show starts now.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, So I had family in town this weekend. My
aunt and cousin came down on what was it Thursday night, Yeah,
Thursday night, and stayed the weekend and they just wanted
to get away, and you know, we have a pool
and so they wanted to just come chilled by the pool.
They really didn't want to do anything, which I loved,
and so just come down for the fourth and hang

(01:36):
out and it was great. I love seeing them, so
it was great. I did think though, at one point
when this was going on, having house guests of like,
fuck forehouse house guests, like every weekend? How does he
do it? I don't know how he does it. It
kind of kind of is because even though they didn't
really want to do anything, you're still hosting. I cooked
multiple times, and it was just like it was kind.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Of a expensive house guest in your normal.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Bothers me, but but it is. It is more about routine.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
When you feel bad when you're not around everybody, Like
when I want to go, like everyone's just sitting around,
how long can we Like we'll sit around talk for
like two hours. After a couple of hours, I'm over it,
so like, but I have to keep sitting there. But
if I go in like my sports room and play
a video game bylfah an asshole.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, I did that a couple of times.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
But yeah, we had we had her brother and his
crew from a Tuesday to Saturday. Then a week later
we had her dad and stepmom from Thursday to Monday,
and then two weeks later we had both her brothers.
It's like non stop, and then in August we're having
both mom and step mom.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Because of the baby shower. I love having a house.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Guess happen more than anybody else.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I know, it really is. It really is crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
It's not my family though, but I bet you know,
though I know who I'm married, and she's with her
family a lot, and luckily we all get along.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
And I wrote a saying, but it is it's exhausting though,
you know. So it was great having them there, but
now I'm ready to go back to normal. And so
yesterday we were sitting around and the idea of going
to the movies came up. So I been to the
movies in a little bit.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
What time we talked on Sunday?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
What time to the movies?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Early? Okay, you know I'm an early movie guy, and
so it was eleven forty five showing Wow early, Yeah,
I love good matinee save money.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I appreciate that on Sundays two o'clock movie because I
have nothing really going on.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Mad day, you know, I can get a madne Press,
but then.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I'm out of there before it's too dark out.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Well yeah, I'm I'm ready to go by hopefully like three.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
But then I still feel like I have what am
I doing the rest of the day?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Dinner? That's true, stuff like that. No, you got a
good point, you know anyway, so what to see? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (03:59):
Well, and here's the other thing about having company, and
I you probably don't suffer from this as much as
I do.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Well, you never have company?

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Well, yeah, but like every once in a great while,
and it's happened once or twice before. But in regards
to trying to make a decision on something like who
is gonna make the final decision, you know what I mean,
whether it's like I want Italian, I want Mexican, blah
blah blah blah blah, somebody's got to step up. And
since I'm so non confrontational, literally, this song and dance

(04:30):
with my family could go on for fucking ever, so
I couldn't imagine a group of people deciding on a movie.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
When it comes to food, though, it's easy. What whoever's
hosting decides, like we already have dinners picked out, like
going to dinner, Yeah, like going out to eat this
you pick?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Oh, yeah, you're not gonna run by anybody, no, because
we we it's madness.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I don't because we tell them, hey, it's your area,
it's our area, so we know the rest.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
You don't go, oh, like, do you want Mexican tonight?
You want to tell you tonight?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
I will say like, hey, there's this great Mexican spot
you guys need to have. It's awesome, and they'll go again,
let's do it.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I mean that that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
That's how we say.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
But but to just go tonight, we are going to
this place?

Speaker 7 (05:08):
Yeah, I have made.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I didn't want Mexican. I guess I gotta go get
an air. So yes, the movie thing got kind of tricky.
That's kind of crazy because what does everybody want to.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
See in multiple generations, different.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Ages exactly, because we went as you know, my aunt's
older all the way down to my kids, so they
don't really this house. What do we you know, what
are we going to see?

Speaker 8 (05:40):
You're also not going to watch something like wildly inappropriate
or something that they were.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Totally Yeah, there's nothing out right now that's like wildly inappropriate.
But I get what you're saying. Uh So the first
movie that was suggested, which was by my cousin, which
was the New Jurassic World.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Saw last week.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Now here's the tough part. Number one. Emily didn't give it.
Like a sterling reviews.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
They're not good, and she doesn't give it. And she likes,
you know, I was hoping wedding. She likes you know,
Happy Gilmore. Those are her movies.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
So if she would have came in and been like,
you know what, they completely changed everything and it was
so good and blah blah blah blah blah, I would
have been like, Okay, but she goes it is what
you what you expect.

Speaker 8 (06:23):
But I did say it was entertaining. I did say
it was gonna be still entertaining expect.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
You know, but it's still the same fucking Jurassic Park
movies over and over.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
They need to get something.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
There other ones now.

Speaker 8 (06:41):
Yeah, and then the t Rex there is at the
end scarch or hands and somehow straps herself to the
front of a boat she's hanging upside down and she's
trying to shoot her a little.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I didn't tell if she got it.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Do you see your tits?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
They just bounced around a lot in that white I
got se So.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Do you guys want to go see the new Jurassic
World movie? And I go can't? What I can't? Why
I can't?

Speaker 6 (07:07):
That seems like a good pick for all the different
I think, right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah, yeah, I haven't seen the last.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
One, Eddi.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
It was the Dominion really, because there was fall Jurassic World,
then dress World, Fallen Kingdom, and then the Minion. I
haven't seen that, Eddie news.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
You don't need to see all of the.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Word yes in order to I'm not going to run.
I won't know what's going on.

Speaker 8 (07:33):
It's actually kind of a new story, Chris c.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
But you have how did they go to this island?
Then it is where the island where the park used
to be.

Speaker 8 (07:41):
This one was where they were doing research and making
clones of different dinosaurs like seventeen years ago.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
There's a mutation. So this is because you don't need
they already recap it and you don't need to like.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
You're taking it that serious.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
It's a different cast.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Every time't do it to I won't do it.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Really, where's gold Bloom?

Speaker 2 (08:01):
He was in the last one.

Speaker 8 (08:02):
He came back this one like they brought back the
old some of the old characters.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Remember when they tried to make Jeff Goldblum a sex
symbol and lost World?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, oh yeah, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Jeff Goldblum is gross anyway, So I nixed it that alone. Well,
and that in Emily's Stirling review.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
You couldn't have figured it out, Like are you going
to go back and watch Dominion?

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, well you got to know which dinosaurs talking to
Chris practice time, Okay, apparently it.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Was blue still dinosaurs. I don't know, I tell you, yeah,
I don't know what's going on. So not going to
do it. I said, not until I see Dominion. Will
I see this.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
Next one that I would say that, Oh it was?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
It was fridiculous. Here's the other thing is my kids
have seen none of them. They've they haven't seen not
even Jurassic Park, which is it's their fault. I've suggested
it many times. Oh no, I said, you guess you
watch Dress Park and I'm like, yeah, yeah, and then
they never do.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
You never made them sit there and had it on
as a family watch.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
I'm not going to force you, but you got to
start with we don't watch things as a family like
you guys do.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
You got to start with Jurassic Park.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yes, because if you watch any of the new ones
and then watch the first one, you're gonna be like,
it's not because the special effects aren't even the same universe.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
You know, I'm just assuming it's a kid.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
I'm good. So that one was off the table. Okay,
So then Deborah weighs it, and you know Deborah, she goes, well,
we could either watch Elio or Lelo and Stitch.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah, shoot me, and I just I.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
See what's going on. She wants to watch a.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Disney Yes, Elio didn't that bomb.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Kind of kind of we when we were at Disney World,
they have this one theater in Hollywood Studios where they
show whatever Disney movie they have coming out, like uh
like eight minutes of it, and so it was hot
and we're like, let's just go in here and watch
this eight minutes of Elio. And we did and it
was whatever. It's a typical Disney movie. He wasn't terrible.

(10:07):
And so Debra though, now she has to know what
happened eight minutes, you got to know what happened. Crazy,
But really she wants to see Leo. Oh I support this,
which you saw and you loved.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
Oh yeah, it was really good.

Speaker 6 (10:20):
I'm normally not I'm not. I'm not a live action bitch.
You know that's about.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
I'm not a live action I have not.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
I have not supported any of those. Yeah, which ones
the Beauty and the Beast that was terrible?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Remember my top ten list?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yeah, I had some good ones on it. You watch
Lady in the Tramp don't love it?

Speaker 7 (10:42):
Yeah, you kind of got me because I never even
considered it.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
Lion King like all of it. Get out of here.
I don't I don't want any of your live action weird.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
But we were looking for something to do a few
weeks ago and went to see Leelo and Stitch me
and my daughter a live action highly recommend you love
you liked it better than the original Stitch.

Speaker 7 (11:04):
Yeah yeah, well not to san Diego at the.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
End shout out, but I, I mean you're going to
pass on that one.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I was the one who spoke up when Deborah suggested that.
I said, you guys can go I'm not going to
go see le Loan Stitch.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
You can't have one person in the group doing that.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
I'm good. If everybody wanted to see it, go for it.
I'm not going to go see you get the house
to yourself. That's all. That's what I really wanted.

Speaker 7 (11:32):
But in their minds, they are not.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
This is a group out.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
This is like, they're all, okay, you can't.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
I'm voting again for just really the kids would have
seen it, but they didn't. They weren't even involved in
the conversation, and so.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Sky can't comprehend that.

Speaker 7 (11:52):
No, they get an equal vote that movie.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
So then I suggested, well, why don't you guys go
see lelo and Stitch and all go in and watch
Mission Impossible.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Oh yeah, I'm kind of stunned that Mission Impossible wasn't here.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Here. Here's the thing. Deborah has been on my ass
saying she's seen it, like all of the Mission Impossible movies.
I know it for a fact she hasn't. And because
I watch them either with thor or on my own.
The last one I watched on my own on a plane.
And so I go, when did you have time to
sit back and watch these Mission Impossible movies. I know

(12:33):
you haven't. She goes, no, no, no, I swear I did.
She goes, she goes the one that has the Adele song.
I go, that's fucking James Bond. You did shit, that's Skyfall?
What the fuck?

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Good movie?

Speaker 5 (12:50):
I go, that's that's James Bond. Yes, you've seen the
James Bond movies, because you've watched it with me. You
haven't seen any of the Mission No. I saw the
one when he you know, he like stops on the
you know, hanging first.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
One's the only one you've seen.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
I go get out of here, and so I go,
all go in and watch Mission Impossible because I really
want to see it, and you guys go watch Leland Stitch. Yeah,
here's the issue with that. Mission Impossible is almost three hours.
Lelo Stitch is an hour and a half. So what
are they gonna do for another hour and a half. Yeah,
they can watch eos, Yeah that'd be great. And Mission
Impossible is starting to it's had like one showing, it's

(13:27):
already starting to come out out of the theaters.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Okay, it's gonna be on streaming in a week.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah, not great. So the only real other big movie
out there right now is F one? Oh? Wow? And
I go ooh is it rated? R? I have no idea, Like,
I know nothing really about the movie other than Thorne
telling me last week he really wanted to see it,
and so I looked it up PG thirteen and it's

(13:51):
only basically because of you know, there's like crashes and
stuff and then like language, but there's no sex or
like crazy violence or anything like that. So I went,
I would see F one. Really, I don't. I wasn't
like clamoring to see it, but I guess i'd go
see it. I don't know, it sounds okay, and so
I go, well, what about F one? And it was

(14:12):
like okay, sure. So that's how we ended on F
one Wow. So we all what a debacle? Yeah? I
didn't know, Like, are my kids gonna like this? Like,
I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
It's gonna be like like too many, too much adult?

Speaker 1 (14:26):
I don't know. I have no idea.

Speaker 7 (14:28):
Do your kids know who Brad Pitt is?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Taylor definitely would, okay, Jack, I don't. I don't know
has he been in anything.

Speaker 7 (14:37):
Kid that he would like thirteen year old would have seen.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
I have no idea. I don't know. I don't think
Oceans eleven guys. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
Yeah, I don't think my daughter would know who Brad.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I don't think he would either, really, Brad Pitt, I
don't think so.

Speaker 6 (14:49):
They don't know who like movie stars are. If you
ask him about TikTokers, they'll tell you all day. Yeah,
you know YouTubers all day?

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Ask her?

Speaker 6 (14:56):
Yeah, like, like it's crazy the movie stars and like
rock stars she's never heard of and looks at me
like I'm a psychopath for thinking.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
She because you guys, watch Pitch fucking Perfect everything, watch
any movies, knows she knows who Rebel Wilson is, exactly,
no problem. She knows, she knows who Boston Rob from
Survivor is, but she hasn't.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Yeah, we did have a big discussion of watching like
Billy Madison or something, and I was why is.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
It a big discussion was pop it in?

Speaker 4 (15:29):
It in?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
By the way, like they have a v C.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
She doesn't know what a VCR is.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
He probably doesn't doesn't, Probably doesn't.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Yeah, because the Boo has been trying to push spanglish
forever and are you talking.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
About Yeah, it's like a dramedy and it's kind of terrible.

Speaker 7 (15:44):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he's been pushing that.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Why why would he want to watch that?

Speaker 6 (15:49):
Because my daughter loves ocean stuff and we collect a
lot of sea glass, and the gal in the movie
collects sea glass, so she thinks that's enough to keep daughters.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Everything you just said was you collect sea glass a
whole jar?

Speaker 7 (16:06):
Don't you off?

Speaker 3 (16:10):
Myself? Conversation?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
So F one it is. So we went and went
and saw F one. Here's where I got Jack because
it's pretty cool. I mean there they film the way
they film it is from like the driver's point of view.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Well, the races, That's why I want to see it.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
And so you see, I mean they're going, you know, crazy,
driving around all the same and it's pretty good. Here's
what got him. At one point I leaned over and go, dude,
this is like Mario Kart and he went. I could
see his like a whole demeanor change, and he was
in does he like go Carton? I'm sorry, go Carton?

(16:54):
None of those places killed them all because I like
a race kid. You know, maybe I don't think is
he throwing bananas outside
