Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well I kind of briefly mentioned this during the regular show.
But big congratulations to our employee of the Quarter, which
is Jamie. Wow, our very own Jamie. We have an
employee of the Quarter twice a year.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Yeah, it should be four times a year.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Well that would be a quarter, but we only do
it like twice. Is that what happened?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
We do it?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
We do it in eighth Yeah, it's really odd. So
Jamie won it? How did he win it? And how
did he celebrate? You're about to find out. We ain't
done yet. It's time for the one podcast Find a.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Year completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
The the show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Now, Oh little baby James, Baby James did it? I
can't believe it. Yes, so we do this thing in
our building and the employee of the quarter and you're
supposed everybody's supposed to vote on that. Well, uh, you know,

(01:17):
even though we're a radio station with big time radio personalities,
no radio personality ever wins this thing. Never. Oh no,
why why is that not weird? I think I know why.
Sales promotion or like you know, the the front you know,
desk person or like a like random people win it,

(01:38):
and I think I know because there's such weird jealousy
and competition within the radio different radio stations. Nobody's going
to vote for another radio personality, you know. So I
don't think that's why we'll ever win it. So it
is what it is. But sometimes if you band together, yes,

(02:00):
then you can make things happen. Yes, And that's what
happened with our boy Jamie. I think at least, I'm
not even really sure. So we got the email it's
time to void for the Employer of the Quarter, and
you get it and you're like, all right, well, who
the hell am I going to go?

Speaker 5 (02:13):
Well, first, you say yourself, oh, we're still doing that
because we didn't do it last quarter.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, I'm sorry. Well, who who's left that we're going
to pick to win this Employee of the Quarter? You know,
I mean, okay, we we've given it to a few
people that we like in the building, or who's left?
And I thought to myself, you know what, you know,
who could you? And at the prize is like it's
like two hundred and fifty bucks. That's a pretty decent,

(02:40):
decent prized. Yeah, you know, I should give this my
vote to Jamie. We want to give it to Jamie.
I can use two fifty bucks. Yeah, you know that kid,
you know works hard.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Well, you know, it depends its well.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
You know, sometimes I look in there, I'm like, oh,
is he asleep?

Speaker 6 (02:58):
I saw dozing off last week?

Speaker 5 (03:00):
It was a lot. Well, we do have the you know,
early morning face times with the girlfriend that he has
to get out of the way before we moved on
to face.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
When has he ever done that? I've never seen him
do that.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
No, Oh, I'm sorry when when she's overseas, first thing
in the.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Morning, you.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Got time to FaceTime, time to clip, but that was
going on.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
It is.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
It is a little jarring when you walk into a studio.
You know, we're still all like kind of half asleep,
we're barely speaking full sentences. And I see the guy
on FaceTime, I'm like, this seems aggressive for this early.

Speaker 7 (03:46):
But I guess when your girlfriend's out of the country,
you know.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
I guess. Interesting. Yeah, So you know, Jamie does a
pretty good job, you know, and he's in charge of
like our social media, and you know, according to these
videos and things like that, and then uh, he's really
hit the jackpot because Jamie loves going to concerts.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
And so for us to go to concerts and take
videos and pictures and things like that is tough, especially
during the week. We're old, and so that's a young
man's game, it really is. I mean I used to
go to concerts in the middle of the week and
then be like igetugg man, I'll show up drunk or whatever.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I can't do it anymore, just can't do it.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Just doesn't go to the concerts.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
It's not funny.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
She loves, but it has to be somebody that I'm
dying to.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
See, like the garage band you saw that was.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
On a Saturday.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Jamie is a young man, so he does not give
a ship. So he goes out to all these different concerts.
It doesn't matter what day of the week. He'll go
take pictures, all that stuff. Do that for the station,
which is great. Yeah. Uh so I said, you know what,
kid earned it. Wow, I'm a bone. I'm gonna gonna
vote for him for Employee of the Quarter.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Oh you guys voted.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, Well, I made the big declaration in here. You
were sitting right there. You didn't hear me. I I
let Jamie know voting for you kid putting it out there,
I'm voting for you for employee the quarter. Hopefully everybody
else will banded together. This guy a dub. But I
didn't hear if anybody else did, and so I just

(05:30):
kind of went along and went all right, well, hopefully
you know you guys will And then later in the
day we get the email. Here's the big winner.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
They towered him up that fast. I guess I think
we got a Florida situation going on.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Didn't the winner is Jamie? Was I the only one
that voted for him? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I didn't vote for anybody. Yeah, clearly I deleted it
and then I couldn't find it again.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, yeah, I voted.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
For Jamie last two times.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Whoa.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
I remember the first time I voted, Eddie said, how
can we vote? Like Jamie had literally been working here
like a month. And Eddie's like, nope, cancer for him.

Speaker 7 (06:12):
Yet I did.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
He didn't prove his word, that's what he said. Quarter.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Yeah, he goes, how can he be the employee of
the quarter if he hasn't been here a quarter.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
I'm like, well, he's been here a month.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
He's doing an amazing job, amazing amazing.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Guy's over compassating now because the first month.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
He did an amazing job.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
You guys, remember like when you start a job and
you try real hard at the beginning, and then you
just kind of fall off and start taking.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
Naps in there. But so the first two.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
Times I voted for Jamie and then Jamie didn't win,
you guys, spoiler alert those last two times, and then
there was a problem with the link this time, and
also right, and also we skipped the quarter before.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
So I was so annoyed. I just deladed. I didn't
vote Sky, but the previous two times doesn't count. I
voted for Jakes. He didn't win Sherry one last time.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
It doesn't mean it. No, this doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Okay, I feel like it means something. Why because in
my heart he's the employee.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Of That doesn't count in my heart.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
In my heart Jamie, Emma, So I.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Was going to delete that email so fast, like I
don't give a show.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I don't give a shit.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
It's always looks like Eddie just said, it's always some salesperson.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Or something like that used to vote for himself.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yes, yeah, I do know that.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Yeah, I'd say I'd say no, I'd say thor does
a great job on the morning show.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
They only get one vote.

Speaker 7 (07:35):
I mean it shows one show himself.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I did.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
So I did delete it until Eddie brought up in
the studio Jamie who I wasn't gonna pick it.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
I wouldn't have.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Rocked the vote.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
I wouldn't, and so I opened it back up.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
So I threw Jamie.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Voting for him.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah that's stunning.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Yeah that's nice.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
We go to votes. Wow, that was all it took.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Really, no one else in the building vote.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
I don't know, maybe not. Maybe everybody just deletes it now. Probably,
I don't know what happened, or you know, if other
people are noticing his get up and.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Go for him.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Are you friends with people in the building?

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Yeah, you know, I don't know if you guys ever
noticed this. Jamie will will bounce around different studios.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Oh it bothers you.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
When we're in the middle and I see him in
there talking to Jesse and Tazi in the.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Jelly, Yeah, maybe hey, they're about to talk about this,
talk about it first.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Wow, Jamie would never do that.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Okay, look at him going on in there.

Speaker 7 (08:49):
What's going on in there?

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Okay? So you still thought enough of him to vote though, correct,
and he has apparently a couple of people in here
that voted for him because he won. So that's great.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yay, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Undred fifty bucks. Can't wait for you to buy his breakfast?

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Great?

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Sure, that's how you're gonna He doesn't look like he's going.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
To do that. Now, you you, When you do whoever
you vote for, you are supposed to put in a
comment about why this employee was deserving to win set award.
My comment was a real stunner. Well, you know, I
mean I think I put it in there and put
it over the top.

Speaker 7 (09:28):
Really is that what sealed the deal?

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Yeah? I put it on there, something like Jamie works
works real hardtal Hard uh said, does a good job
for the show and their social media and does a
lot of social work and stuff with the station at concerts. Whatever.
A pretty basic comment with you and then, uh, Emily.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
What did you end up writing? You would say?

Speaker 5 (09:57):
I would.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
I'm far enough to type out his first to last name.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
That's where I draw the line.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
He has a last name, Jamie.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
They put it on the sweet baby James.

Speaker 6 (10:10):
How did they know, yeah, James to call him some
switch which work to come up with something to say
I typed his name.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
He's probably grateful enough for them.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, no comments from me. There was three, so they
put in there, you know, this is Jamie's the employer
of the quarter. Uh. And then they actually picked three
comments to put in there of why Jamie is so great?
One of mine made the cut. My three people voted
for maybe, I mean, and then Emily's no comment, no comment.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
It just said Emily, no comment, Jamie, did.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
You know that that was my comment? You're talking to
the microphone. Yeah, yeah, this is the radio I'm about
to I'm about to take away this employee.

Speaker 7 (10:48):
Oh you're taking away the award.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
I mean, he's not doing it great.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
I had a feeling it was yours.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
How did you know?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Well, the top comment I was told by who the
person was, who was their top comment?

Speaker 1 (10:59):
And uh then it was me?

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Was you?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
That's can I ask who the top comment was?

Speaker 3 (11:05):
It was our friend Cat?

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Oh, Cat for you? Which did you think she was
gonna vote for?

Speaker 5 (11:13):
You?

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Nice?

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I mean, that's crazy. I don't get it. You docate it.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I been here fourteen years.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
I didn't fourteen years. I got twenty five. Okay, I
didn't even get a fucking watch Okay, I didn't even
get a pat on the back twenty five.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Years and you got donuts once once and then I
don't think it was for everybody.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
It wasn't for me. It's true.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
Yeah, I got twenty five years and didn't even get acknowledged.
So so with that, Edny at least got a fucking
email shout out.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
I didn't get nothing. Truth So anyway, Okay, so Cat
gave you a nice.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Cat eddie and then you know, no shame. I pulled
a thor voted for myself.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
What you vote?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
You voted for yourself?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Did Yeah?

Speaker 7 (12:00):
So that third promm.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Insane?

Speaker 7 (12:07):
What is it? You know what? It says?

Speaker 3 (12:12):
The long one?

Speaker 1 (12:12):
You had a lot to say about yourself.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I mean, I feel like everybody has a lot to
say about themselves.

Speaker 7 (12:17):
What did you say about yourself?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I said, good looking guy, really thin?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
But it was something like, I work hard, uh, bettering
the socials. I go do concerts, I bring listeners behind
the stage and give them a once in a lifetime experience.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
Wow, Jamie, once in a lifetime experience.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Hey, how many times have you met Creed Emily?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Zero?

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Zero times? You're right down?

Speaker 7 (12:42):
Wow, once in a lifetime.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I mean, you just show them where to go. You
don't really do anything. You're not the one they're excited
to be.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Okay, some people are excited to meet me guy a
comic con face.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
That's that's wild. To make yourself the winner. What if
it came down to like a tie and you broke
the tie for yourself. Don't you think that's a little odd?

Speaker 4 (13:09):
You're glad, Jamie, did you have it?

Speaker 2 (13:13):
I have three comments.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Let me know which one is yours, Eddie. Jamie works hard,
is always down to work weekends to bring our social
media to life at shows and events that you're.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Definitely me okay, mind the most basic comment, Jamie, that's
cat yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
And then this is the most basic comment. He goes
above and beyond for the show and social media concept
for the station.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
You had to write something.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Jamie's comments.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Break it down about Jamie. Give it to Jamie. I
believe that Jamie, so you're talking to the third put.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
The rock.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
He's the rock.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
He's the rock. This is crazy.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
I believe that Jamie has been really working hard.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
At improving the social media presence of the show as
well as k o Z.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
In the past few months. He has interviewed multiple artists.

Speaker 8 (14:09):
Facilitated multiple meet and greet I brought the concert experienced
listeners at home, and even posted a few relatively viral posts.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Relatively relative about the stars of the viral content. All
I did is I did is put post employ the
credit for that. What gme? Listen, We're not jealous at all.
You just voted for Okay, what about it? There's no comment,

(14:43):
no comment, you get nothing your comment.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
On.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
So how does one celebrate such a successful you know,
prestigious award?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Champagne?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
No bottles of champagne, nothing like that. No, No, nothing
like that. That would be nice. No, you do a
sweet photo shoot, a.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
Photo like a radio photo shoot with like some sort
of a ward or something.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
No, we're looking at more of a kind of a
western vibe, a western.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
Why are we doing a Western photo shoot?

Speaker 1 (15:21):
That's a great question, Skuy. I think when you were
you and Julian, where'd you go?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
That wasn't Julian.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
I don't know what's up with Jamie and his girlfriend.
He sort of doesn't. I don't want to say he
doesn't have a say, but he just it feels that way,
But it does because he just does kind of whatever
she wants when it comes to these photo shoots.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
She's very artsy with her videos.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
That's it right there.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
He's got a denim jacket on denim short in the
middle of a field.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
In the middle of a field with.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
A fleece.

Speaker 7 (15:58):
Is just part of the cost.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
It's summer. What's up with this photo shoot?

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Are you a.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
Christian rock band?

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Could that actually happened nine months ago?

Speaker 1 (16:07):
Well, and you're just posting him now?

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
What? Why?

Speaker 7 (16:11):
Why?

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Because I was just deleting a bunch.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Of Okay, that is that is hardcore classics?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Is that cow he's got, he's got, he's got his
boots on, ship kickers, aviators.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Just get him sick, get him a sick. That's a
lead guitarist. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, he doesn't fu. Nine
months ago, why are you just getting on? The post?

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Was going through my camera because I was running out
of storage.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Me drinking water? Yeah, you drinking water was.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Like a heart rate.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Looks like.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Straight vodka, straight vodka.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
A pony. This is I'm letting out, babe.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
I'm tired.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
I'm letting it out down. I don't want to hear out.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Yeah, Jamie Saladom maritinage. You could see those pictures.

Speaker 7 (17:12):
Who wow, that's a.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
You know what, I just need my guitar now, that's
all you need. All drink of water.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Stop playing games, babe?

Speaker 1 (17:24):
What what's up with this photo shoot?

Speaker 3 (17:27):
We went to Julian, we took the pictures.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
But why why are you doing pictures?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Man?

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Did you pick that outfit out like as your Julian outfit.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Or was it for a photo shoot?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Yeah? No, that was just the way you were dressed.
That's just how I was dressed in the middle of December,
so I needed very.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Well, very.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Very How do these photos happen? Do you go, oh, babe,
this is a great spot or is she the.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Art directions regularly? I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
That was all natural, candid pictures.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
I was just did you not read the comment about himself?

Speaker 5 (18:04):
No?

Speaker 7 (18:04):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Yes, I mean what we just did?

Speaker 7 (18:07):
Sky oh the one from what he won? I thought
you meant on his.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
What did he say?

Speaker 3 (18:12):
The post comment is yeeha, the cowboy.

Speaker 7 (18:16):
Had a move, the cowboy emerge.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
You know what I take back.

Speaker 8 (18:21):
I take
