Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Kaplis and welcome to today's online podcast edition
of The Dan Kaplas Show. Please be sure to give
us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. And way is
a beautiful full weekend. We've got one ahead of us tomorrow.
If you're in the Denver Metro, it's going to be

(00:21):
seventy degrees in crystal blue skies, sunshine all day, and
then across the state pretty much the same. You'll get
some pockets here and there, obviously cooler up in the mountains,
and then yeah, dips a little on Monday in the
metro down to like you know, sixty two fifty four
sixty three early in the week, but in a beautiful
weekend again next weekend. Glad you're here. Three all three, seven, one, three, eight, two, five, five,

(00:44):
the number. So much interesting stuff to talk about, So
we're doing truly an open line Friday kind of thing
because we have so many great topics this week that
there has been enough time to sink our teeth into
fully and then some updates on each of those. So
anything on your mind fire at will, Texter Dan, I, Mom, Donnie,
not sure who first said this and paraphrasing, but never

(01:07):
interfere with the enemy when he's in the process of
destroying himself. Certainly that the political opponent here. You're right
about that. And this is so good for America to
be able to see where the Democratic Party is headed,
because it is well here in Colorado, it's already there
right where you have the socialist wing of the Democratic
Party running the state. And they can dress it up

(01:27):
and put perfume on the pig and everything else in
the form of polists and how they message things. But
that's what they are, and so it's only going to
get more and more blatant. And Mom, Donnie is going
to be He's going to be their great symbol. He's
going to be their great example. And that's going to
help conservatives everywhere. Dan Colorado ultimately giving support for Chauncy
Pillips good acts would be nice, But I think the

(01:49):
Internet has made most people fickle. Oh yeah, all this
social media stuff, it's keyboard warriors. It's made society so
much meaner, but doesn't mean we can't overcome it. So
the question for you is Chauncey Billups resumed innocent. But
even if he was to be proven guilty of these
gambling related charges, do you think Colorado, Denver Metro should

(02:12):
have some kind of focused, organized outpouring of thanks to
him for the good things he's done well, not condoning
anything bad he may have done. He's in a very
direct denial today from the Billups camp, so let's see
where the evidence goes on that. But it seems to me, Ryan,
am I being naive here? It seems to me that
when you have somebody like that who has done so

(02:35):
much good for a particular place, like Chauncey Billups has
done for this place and all the stuff for kids
and everything else, that when they are down is when
they need your support the most. Not condoning bad acts,
but thanks for the good stuff and saying we haven't
forgotten the good stuff.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
It seems to me there should be something like that
for you, for me, for a lot of our listeners.
And there's a lot of reasons why Chauncey Billops means
a lot to a lot of people. I think he
has earned benefit the doubt status for sure, but he's
definitely built up a lot of capital to use with
those who admire him in all of the good deeds

(03:12):
that he's done. To your point, he's done in Metro
Detroit with kids, He's done it around here with kids.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
He's a very selfless guy.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Everything I know about the guy Dan contradicts what we
heard yesterday.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
It just does. Yeah, and I hope he's innocent, and
very direct denials from his camp. I would think it'd
be very odd if the Biden and Trump administrations would
go down this road without a lot of evidence. But
all I'm saying is, even if he's guilty, what form
should that show of appreciation for the good things he's done?

(03:44):
What form should that take? Texter Dan, What's odd is
if Trump is a developer in nefarious like they say,
you would try to build another property in DC for
the ballroom purpose. It's an interesting way of thinking because
obviously the White House they need some big ballroom. Yeah,
you have all these heads of state come over and
everything else. And unless you're gonna have that little crowd

(04:06):
in the East room, you know you got to go
out and pretense up. Now we need a big ballroom.
Trump's trew and doing a great thing here, and so,
as a Texter, says Dan, I think it's great to
update these wing what's the issue. The issue is obviously
that the left has lost their minds, and that is
helping us so much right now, because I'm telling you

(04:27):
people don't believe it, because people are logical and they
haven't had the life experience I've had as a Democrat
for many years. And you have so many Democrats who
just don't know how crazy their party has become, and
stuff like this helps open their eyes.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What you know as well, Dan, is if this is
the shiny object that John Fetterman warned about, the red
laser pointer pen that the little cats. So the Democrats
are chasing, this is what they're most concerned about. That's
how you know we're winning and Trump's win.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah, and it's the gift that keeps on giving, Right Dan,
how many legals do you think Lad Loma employs what
this is? You know, this is just goofy. I assume none. Right,
And where this comes from is I was telling Ryan,
I don't know how we got off on this. That's great.
I had fajitas over at La Loma the other night

(05:18):
with Amy and it was phenomenally good. And you spend
your money there. Yeah, boy, that's like the guy you
see this text, which one ripping on me? Which one? Oh,
this one that says here it is, oh a good point. Yeah,
I'm just kidding. Now, I we'll do it alphabetically chronologically,
Dan food banks and now Mexican food So I got

(05:41):
a texter ripping me because I mentioned my wife works
at a food bank. That's from the Well remember that
guy from yesterday or the day before.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I do, But I don't understand what the criticism is
of FAMI doing that.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
And no valid criticism. But he went off on some
weird tangent about how they're tools of the left and
this and that, and I made the point that they're
actually what Jesus said to do. And she, by the way,
she's not on the payroll there. She volunteers like so
many people do at those places. Right, yeah, okay, all right?
Three or three seven? Three?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Are you wishing I had somebody screened some of them
before you read them?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
On? No, No, we pride ourselves and being fearless. Some
of these are a little dicey, though, I'd say that's
what we're here for. Well, we're not afraid anybody or anything.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
But I mean, you know, they're inappropriate even for over
the air radio, you know.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
What I mean.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Well, then we can work around that, all right. I
just want to make sure I'm looking out for you.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Here's somebody talking about your show earlier.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Dan.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I don't echo Dick Adam's confidence on the government shutdown
from earlier today, but I did enjoy the interview with
Ryan on the defeat of Tom dashel by John Thune
in two thousand and four.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Great.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, so you had Dick on obviously today and he
thinks what that the government shutdowns can end soon.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
He thinks the Dems are going to cave and that
the Republicans hold the winning hands, so why would they
concede or give any ground on anything?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
And that goes to some of.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
The sound that we listen to, both he and I
and the audience from John Thune himself. And the more
I hear Thune and the more I watch him, Dan,
the more I like him, and the more I have
confidence in him as a leader, certainly much more so
than Mitch McConnell, and that he's pulling in the same
direction as Trump and as Mike Johnson. They make a
pretty powerful triumvirate.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Oh yeah, No, I've always been impressed with him. But
I'll tell you this, mcconnald, Yeah, don't agree with him
on everything. Disagree strongly on some things, but he does
not get enough credit for some things.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
He gets the judges through.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, but it's not just okay and the judges. No,
it's like a top priority, right top of the list,
because there goes your democracy if all of a sudden
you have an Obama pointing instead of Neil Gorsich. Are
you kidding me? That was heroic work by McConnell to
keep that seat open until Trump won and to get

(07:50):
just as Barrett confirmed in thirty eight Days, Yeah, I
had some legendary stuff that we're all going to benefit
from for a long time. Our kids are going to
benefit from. Let's see so many great texts today, don't Dan.
Curious on your take on James Carvill. Ryan played a
clip and he mentioned mega people being rounded up and

(08:12):
spat on is he married to Mary Madeleine a conservative?
I think they still are. Mike, Thank you for calling
on that, because this goes back to my whole take
on that, the no Kings thing, and it's not a
reflection on a lot of the people who just showed
up because they don't like Donald Trump. God love you.
Just enjoy all the benefits Trump is bringing you. But

(08:33):
on the organizers, and my belief can't prove it is fact.
My belief as to what's really going on, which is
the rehearsal, the putting in place the mechanism for future
civil disobedience because they know they're losing at the polls,
and you can see what they're trying to do, or
at least some lefties are, which is to take over
individual areas with large crowds, large numbers of people, so

(08:54):
federal law can't be enforced there. I've seen it in
La Trump overcame it with Marines. We've seen it Inland.
Trump is going through the courts to be able to
overcome it there with National Guard. We see it right
now in Chicago. That's the left's play. So when you
get people like Carville, who you know, he's always been
a lefty, but he's always been kind of a fun,

(09:15):
enjoyable lefty. When you see Carville turn ugly the way
he has, and we'll play that sound on the other side,
I think that's just consistent with my theory that the
left sees the future as much more often the open
use of violence and encouraging violence and civil disobedience, that
that's where they see the future. Pray for President Trump.

(09:38):
You're on the Dan Capla Show.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
His corporations up.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
My fantasy dream is that this nightmare ends in twenty
twenty nine. And who ought to have radical thing? I
think they all ought to have the head shaven. They
should be put in orange pajamas and it speak march
down Pennsylvania Avenue and the public should be invited to.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Spit out them. Not subtle, right, But this just goes
to the point I've been making for a long time,
which is clearly the left is preparing for violence. Obviously
they're already violent, right. I just look at LA before
Trump called in the Marines, in Portland and Chicago and
some other places. Yeah, it comes down to this. The

(10:32):
left wants power, and it's very clear that they're not
going to be able to get it at the ballot
box the way they want it. So do you think
they're just going to go away? I don't mean your
typical democrat, I mean the left. I mean the big money,
hardcore secular, radical left. Do you think they're just going
to go away? Not a chance. And you've seen how

(10:55):
the left has used violence throughout recent American history. So yeah,
that's unfortunately what we're in the middle of now. Just
look at the three examples I gave you, and there
is more to come. That's the reality. And our job
is to just and by our I mean you could
be a Democrat, you could be unaffiliated, you could be

(11:16):
a Republican. But if you share these conservative views, and
it's so funny within the modern Democratic Party now, they'd
run jfk out instantly, right, he could not even be
a Democrat, for example, the former president. Yeah, so in
the modern Democratic Party, if you believe in capitalism, the
people who hope power in the party would view you
as a conservative. So yeah, so everybody Democrats on affiliated

(11:40):
Republicans with conservative views. Our job is to just keep
winning and winning more and winning more, and not being
intimidated by their violence and their threats and more violence,
to come and protect our president and protect everybody else
who's standing up to them. Three at three seven to one,
three eight two five five of the number techs DAN
five seven nine will start the calls in Beautiful Denver, Colorado. Frank,

(12:04):
you're on the Dan Kaplis Show.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Welcome, Hi Dan.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
This is this is about the basketball.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
Yes, sir, they made the mistake of getting into bed
with the mafia.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
You know it's going to come to plea deals.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
When that happens, the mafia is not going to roll
over on their own mafia, but the players and the coaches,
they're going to throw them under the bus to get
a good deal. The question is, you're Chauncey's lawyer and

(12:40):
they the Fed say we're going.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
To give you a great deal.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
All you have to do is.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
Testify against the Gambino family.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
What do you tell them? Good question? I would have
to know, as Chauncey's lawyer would. I would have to
know what the true facts are. I mean, as lawyer
came out and said Chauncey's completely innocent, do you really
think he'd risk everything for this? I'd have to know
what the true facts are? What's my guy really facing?
And again I don't do criminal defense. I do catastrophic

(13:10):
injury work. But what's my guy really facing here? If
Chauncey Billups is facing life, then you're going to be
more inclined to deal and take your chances. If he's
facing maybe a year or two in kind of a
country club different, Yeah, But.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
Do you want to testify against the mafia?

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Well, again, it comes back to what you're facing, right,
I mean, And so I don't know what Chauncey's up
against here. I hope he's innocent, but you hear a
lot of reporting now that it could also involve some
NBA gambling. And so if he's facing life, if he's
looking at a real possibility of life or close to
life in prison, maybe you're more inclined to take on

(13:54):
that risk of testifying against the mob.

Speaker 5 (13:59):
But the mob is they're the mob.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Yeah, they're the mob. Yeah, great questions, Frank, And I
think everybody listening shares your belief that if Chauncey is guilty,
I underline, if that you would have to imagine that
maybe there was something in the past that made him
indebted to the mob and that's how he ends up
being the front man at these card games. If he

(14:23):
is guilty, three or three seven one three eight two
five five takes d A N five seven seven three.
Now we're going to talk about this more Monday. But
if you had to answer it right now, Ryan, how
much how much illegal rigging is going on in pro

(14:43):
sports right now? In college sports right now?

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I have wondered that for the last twenty four hours
and Dan, and that's just me personally.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
But if you're a person out there the likes to
make prop.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Bets, and that means like an individual player, it's an
individual statistic higher or lower, over or under.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
I don't trust that as far as I can throw it. Listen,
and let's start in college sports. Okay, since you have
this advent of legalized gambling, online gambling, et cetera, I
have to think there is a vast amount of cheating
going on in all of the major college sports, because
I mean, look at what you're talking about. You're talking

(15:20):
about kids, right You're talking about many their brains are
still developing, they got all these other things going on
in their life. We've all done some really really stupid
things as kids, and then there's this chance then to
the action, the excitement, the picking up extra money. And
this is not an indictment of college athletes. I'm talking

(15:42):
about a very very very small percentage, but I have
to think there is a lot of cheating in the
form of, say, information being passed on to gamblers. It
could be to just friends they know, so the friends
can make a little money. True, it could be, you know,
to organize gamblers who are then paying them something. I
just think there's probably a lot of it going on

(16:03):
at every level now that I still think is probably
one percent max of the people involved in those sports.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I think we have to be very frank about what
we're dealing with here too, Dan, And that has been mainstreamed,
it's been normalized, the concept of sports betting in any forum.
All of these commercials that are on bet three, six'
Five DraftKings Fan, duel gone down the. Line it's built
into the broadcasts of a lot of these.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Sports, now so where is the.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Line it's a blurring of the line of what's, right what's,
wrong what's, good what's?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Bad you. Know and then you talk about insider, training,
right because even your most, sophisticated law abiding, corporations they
have to have these incredibly rigorous processes in place to
avoid even kind of unintentional insider training information from being. Relayed.
Correct so now you're talking about all these kids spread
all over the country and all these major college sports

(16:54):
and then you're talking about pro athletes and everything, else
and all of the information they have access to them
can be enormously valuable to. Gamblers so the idea that
that's somehow being contained is ludicrous.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
And it calls into question now the integrity of the competitions,
themselves any of those college sports that you, mentioned THE, nba.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
The World series.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
TONIGHT i, mean you have to at least have some
level of concern if you're not completely naive that how
much of this is going.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
On, Well i'd quibble with that a little. BIT i
think you have to have a high level of certainty
that there's some funkiness going. On. Now the question of
whether how often it affects, OUTCOMES i don't have access
to the infoid need to know to really. Know for
me as someone who enjoys, SPORTS i think it probably
very very very rarely affects the outcome of a, contest

(17:44):
as opposed to prop bets and things like. That but
it's just going to continue to grow the. Problem, Right
and do you think this legalized gambling has been good
or bad For? Colorado you're on The dankapla.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Show you're listening to the Dan kaplis show Podcast, rick
the stock.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Market has been telling us what to believe ever Since Liberation.
Day Stock mart, said this is not going to be
this is not going to be the end of the,
world like so, many like almost unanimously business reporters at
terrists for the end of the. World and here we.
Are you know what are we have thirty six percent that,

(18:29):
yeah you, know AS i said at the, time right
That trump knows a little bit about all of. This
his stuff has worked on the job like it worked
in his first, term and it's working in his second.
Term remember all those People ryan When Liberation day came
and they're predicting the end of the world, Economically, hey
we told.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Him on this.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Show, no here's how it's going to play. Out you,
know he's at pieced through. Strength he's got the, leverage
he's got the. Credibility who used this to force great?
Deals and then we'll make a lot of money off.
Tariffs how has it worked? Out three or? Three? Someone three, eight,
two five five the. Number, obviously anytime we tried to
link success or failure to the stock, market it's going

(19:07):
to be a little, imprecise because that can be up
a bunch or down a bunch on any given. Day but, overall,
yeah it's worked very. Well and there are going to
be so many lasting gifts From, trump, right just so
many paradigm shattered that should have been shattered because they
were always built on sand to begin. With and so

(19:28):
we just need to make sure that whether It's vance
Or marco or, whomever that another really good conservative wins
in twenty eight three or three someone three, eight, two,
five five the, number because once you, can you, know
continue this for eight years or, so there's so much
good is going to. Happen people aren't going to want
to go. Back. Dan destroying the drug trade In central

(19:49):
And South america is critical To United Western hemisphere and
way crush And china stay awake all. Night what a great.
Point it's also critical To President trump delivering on his,
promise which he's obviously very determined to. Do his promise
to the working people Of america who elected him, twice
and his promise is your kids matter as much to

(20:09):
me as my own, kids as any kids In. America
your kids matter as much to me as the rich.
Kids and so the way you prove that to the
working people Of america is you attack the people who
are killing the children of the working people Of, america
and those are the drug. Dealers so's are the fentanyl,
dealers those are the other drug, dealers and so you,

(20:30):
KNOW i love it When trump says this To, President
if you are declaring war against these, cartels And congress
is likely to approve of.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
That, process why not just ask for a declaration of.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
War, WELL i don't think we're going to necessarily ask
for a declaration of. WAR i think we're just going
to kill people that are bringing drugs into our.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Country, Okay we're going to kill. Them you, know they're
going to be like.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Dead, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Okay i'm.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Sorry that's such you. NEED i, mean you've got accurate
in the bounds of the, law but that's what you.
Need somebody who truly cares About american. Lives and it's
become real obvious in a million different ways that The
left does not care about the lives of working people
in their. Children it just doesn't look In colorado here
the way they kick in the crotch working people in their,

(21:21):
children starting with people of, color starting with others who
may be you, know you may get folks who are
lower in middle, income yet they just don't. Care they're such,
snobs they're such, elitist and they're sowing the grips of
the wealthy radical. Secularists, yeah But trump does. Care he sincerely.
Cares it's so obvious about working people and their. Kids

(21:43):
and that's why he's whacking all these drug. Dealers AND
i expect it's going to be high on his list
when he sits down with g Next. Thursday now this
isn't some go To, china you have a big banquet
kind of state, thing state. Visit this is going to
be on the sidelines of a meeting that's going. On
but it's still going to be a very important get
together and hopefully one that is good for everybody's four

(22:07):
oh one k as well three oh three see three
eight two five. Five let's get to some of those
great texts D an five seven seven three Nine. Dan
if players will kneel against The american, flag why wouldn't they?
GAMBLE i don't connect the two. Myself my point is,
simply it is incredibly naive to sit here and think

(22:28):
that with legalized gambling right, now that you don't have
a certain percentage maybe one percent, max but that's large
enough to wreak havoc in college and pro sports who
are leaking information to. Gamblers i'm With. RYAN i don't
think you're having games outright. FIXED i think it's more
on individual, performance which people bet on through prop. Bets

(22:50):
but it would be naive to think there aren't going
to be some games whose outcome is influenced by. Gambling,
yeah and we're going to Talk monday about do you
think legalized gambling has been good or bad For? Colorado
if you do, it has it been good or bad for? You?
DAN i can't erase the mental image of you Drinking
scotch all day and nothing. Happens, Sure, dan you are.

(23:12):
Hilarious why would you want to erase that. IMAGE i
don't know i'd want to erase that. Image that's not
SOMETHING i brag. About it's just a fluky. Thing it's my,
doctor Doctor. Levinson we've got to get him, out and
he calls me a medical. Marvel kids laugh at. It

(23:33):
amy laughs at. It But i'm grateful for. It. DAN
i like the muscle in The. Caribbean it shows The
russians And chinese we are. Exercising, listen it's peace to, strength,
right and every leader in the world, now including those
who are most. Evil Understand trump is strong and that

(23:54):
doesn't guarantee us, peace but it's the very best chance we. Have,
DAN i lost a multi unit rental property over sports
gambling when it became legal In, denver who On East
cofax because all the tenants were doing? It trying to
figure out that. Text does that?

Speaker 2 (24:09):
MEAN i thought he meant he lost it in a
poker game or, something but he means he lost it
because the people there were.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Gambling But i'm trying to figure out the. Connection does
that mean then that they lost their money and couldn't
pay their? Rent, right because maybe anybody who gambles seriously
is going to end up losing their, money with, very
very very few, exceptions right this. One Dan Craig silverman
not my favorite, name BUT i wish you could Represent.
Chauncey this is his alumnus. Set chauncey could be very

(24:36):
wise to Call. Craig craig's a very fine. Lawyer. Dan
the donation to pay military worries. Me this puts pressure
On republicans because it's not sustainable talking about a friend
Of trump anonymously given one hundred and thirty, Million but
obviously it's going to take billions to meet. Payroll here's
why the shutdown's going to. End shutdown's gonna end because

(24:56):
there's a very serious problem right now that most of,
us most in the audience were not aware of, it
because most of us are probably not going to food
banks right. Now but food banks are getting. Overwhelmed and
it's not just by the usual folks who are. Hurting
it's also people who are now missing these, paychecks and
so many hard working people are working paycheck to, paycheck

(25:17):
and so now you have folks who they're not getting
their federal. Paychecks they're showing up at food. Banks this
is a legit crisis that is a little bit beneath
the surface for most folks right, now but it is
very real for the people it's very real for AND
i think that pressure is going to force The democrats
to eventually do what they should do and end this. Shutdown,

(25:41):
dan you have to, remember The democrats started this first civil,
war and this one will end just as badly for.
Them i'm not comparing what's going on right now or
is coming to the civil. War What i'm talking about
is the, left the hardcore secular left that owns and.
Operates The Democratic party, has in my, opinion long supported
violence because they can't win the argument on, facts, merit.

(26:06):
Etc and we see this taking different Forms la Till
trump called in The, Marines, Portland. Chicago we've talked about all.
THAT i just think there is more to come because
there's more success coming For trump and for the. Right
and the more that, grows the more violence we will
see employed by the left because they aren't just going

(26:26):
to walk away and give up. Power our job is
to not be intimidated by it and to keep fighting to,
win keep fighting to win for what's. Right, Dan i'm
a fifty eight year Old denver native AND i couldn't
care less About Chauncey billups And i'd like to talk
to that. Person do they Know? Chauncey do they know his? History? Here,
dan what's the over under on the average investment that

(26:47):
the ballroom attendees Making trump's. COMPANIES i don't understand that
shot At trump at. ALL i think that you see
all these big companies stepping up and giving like at
least twenty five million at a. Crack you have a
bunch of those kind of donations from big. COMPANIES i
think it's just smart on their. Part it's very good For.
America these companies make plenty of. Money and if you

(27:11):
are any nation in the world right, now if you're
any big, company et, cetera and you see a president
who's enormously, successful wouldn't you want to be on his good?
Side you're on The Dankapla.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Show and now back to The Dankaplass show. PODCAST a glorious.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
WEEKEND i wish, Man i'm working all. Weekend You, OH i,
KNOW i. KNOW i play this, song yeah that you're
working for the. Weekend, YEAH i love that. IDEA i
love that idea my. Mind, yeah it's you, know it's getting.
There but, yeah this particular weekend, anyway it's going to
be a glorious one around The denver metro if you
happen to be in that area, statewide really, though cooler

(27:57):
up in the. Mountains but it is that time of the. Year,
predictions AND i get no credit from. You, Right we're
going TO i predict to see you upset Over Iowa.
STATE i expect to. Command the first sound we have
On monday when we open the show Is dan. Predict, no,
okay but see you thirteen and a half point dogs
that you taught. TOMORROW i think The buffs are going
to win that football. Game straight. Up don't bet on,

(28:17):
that BUT i mean, literally don't better on. IT i feel,
guilty BUT i do think AND i have a remarkable
everyone who comes to predicting see you.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Football, well even on the, cover they're thirteen and a,
half that's two.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Touchdowns, OBVIOUSLY i think they're going to win the football.
GAME i. Know, yeah that's.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
WHY i, mean if you think, that then that's that's
a very good, bet just independent of everything, else based
on that, spread because, now not only do you think
they're going to, win but they could still lose by
thirteen and you win the.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
BET i would just feel terrible if anybody bet their
hard earned money based on anything like, Said i'm just
saying gambling. ASIDE i, think see who's going to win
that football? TEAM i think See us a much better
team than its. Record And i'm also very excited about
WHERE csu is. Headed you, KNOW i think they've got
so many great coaching. PROSPECTS i think the future is right.
There but, anyway that all leads up to the serious

(29:06):
Prediction i'm going to make regarding the end of this
ludicrous shutdown that's inflicting so much unnecessary. PAIN i think
that's going to end within the next ten. Days and
the REASON i think it's going to end within the
next ten days is because we are coming up on
a point in time in Early november where there won't
be these food stamp benefits, available and people are already

(29:29):
hurting to a certain extent. There but The democrats cannot afford.
That they simply cannot afford that because so much of
support For democrat candidates is based on the assumption that
they will deliver these public, benefits and The democrats cannot
justify the closure of government that they have engineered at this.
Point SO i believe that's going to force an end

(29:52):
to this, big wasteful shut. Down charles In Las, Vegas New.
Mexico you're on The Dan Kaplis. Show Welcome Dan.

Speaker 4 (30:00):

Speaker 4 (31:10):
YEAH i hope you Know. Billups i'm An East denver
longtime resident for a tired And, BILLUPS i didn't know him,
personally But i'm very. Disappointed and what's the? Allegations AND
i do Wish Craig silverman could represent. Him moving On,
CARVILLE i think he's starting the beginning of the end

(31:32):
of his. Career you, know he was the one that
coined the term it's the economy. Stupid So carville used
to have common. Sense Good louisiana fellow my, senior, obviously
but he said some horrible. Things AND i Think Ryan
ryan does such a good.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Job you, know your.

Speaker 4 (31:50):

Her it's starting to worry me a little. Bit she
goes out of her way to, say Why ryan is
really sounding? GOOD i really appreciate. It, yeah very. Much,
yeah but, no that's, see that's that's impressive to, me because,
again it's not like she sits around listening to talk radio.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
That and and we know that, ideologically there's probably out of.
Things she hears me say that she would not.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Agree WITH i would venture to oh, yeah, no but
but she says, that she, Says I'm i'm not Sure,
ryan AND i. Agree she just thinks you're very good at,
this and so, yeah he is very humbled by. That

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
