Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Caplis and welcome to today's online podcast
edition of The Dan Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. Really wanted to
do a light show today, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, right,
I'm sure Ryan, that was your plan also, And I'm
(00:21):
sure that's what you want driving home today, And believe me,
I preferred to that. But when you have a targeted
shooting of two National guardsmen in d C near the
White House, you know, at the very same time, you
have the left, you know, attacking our men and women
in uniform and attacking Trump and calling on people in uniform,
(00:44):
you know, to disobey orders, which you know they label unlawful,
but they won't tell you what orders are unlawful. Yeah,
then we got to talk about this. Three out three
seven one three A two five five the number text
d A N five seven seven three nine. And I
absolutely understand if you decide to just tune out. You know,
it's the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. None of us want
(01:04):
to be talking about serious stuff. This is one of
the most special afternoons of the year in my view,
because it's a special holiday.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I mean, for an.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Awful lot of us, the kids are coming home for
the holiday, and that's just the most important thing, you know,
in virtually everybody's lives, you know, next to God is
the kids coming home and being with the kids and
having the whole family together. And maybe your kids are
still young and they're at home anyway, but you're gonna
have Grandma, Grandpa, everybody's gonna get together. It's just such
(01:35):
a special holiday. And because for a lot of folks
it's a four day holiday.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Weekend, it just stands out.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
And that's the same trill we all get to Sunday afternoon,
and then we're thinking back and saying, man, I wish
it was Wednesday at four o'clock again, because you've got
those four days in front of you, at least hopefully
a good chunk of those four.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Days in front of you. So it's just a very cool.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Time and probably an awful lot of people driving home
this afternoon with smiles on their face, and you know,
I just hope it stays there for everybody. But we
do have to talk about this. It's a big deal.
And not because I can't sit here. Nobody could sit
here right now and say there's a direct you know,
a to B link between you know, the call for
(02:22):
our military to defy the president that we heard this
week from bennettice Crow and others, or direct tie between JB.
Pritzker and so many on the left, you know, criticizing
Trump for deploying national Guard, you know, in dangerous spots.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
We don't even know who the.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Shooter is at this point, so there's no way that
anybody can say there's a direct causal connection. But there's
a fair concern about that. Certainly, there's a fair concern
about that. It's been confirmed by the Merit DC at
this point that it was in fact a targeted shooting,
which you would have assumed anyway, correct, but here now
it is confirmed that it was a targeted shooting.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
We don't have all the.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Details, but it does need to be talked about, so
we will lighten it up during the show, will lighten
it up later during the show. We have a whole
bunch of that lighter stuff, including we really want the
very best family friendly jokes out there, just sure fire
winners at Thanksgiving dinner. We also of course, always talk
about okay, how do you manage And we've got some
(03:25):
sound on it, you know, kind of the crazy lefty
family members that you may have and the different kind
of shots they may take at you, and what's the best.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Way to deal with that?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Is it deflection or head on or you know, always
could I'd employ some humor humor diffuses while also making
your points, So we'll cover all that three out three
seven one three eight two five five tags a d
an five seven seven three nine jump in any time
you'd like Texter Pray for the airport workers, of course, also.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
The flight crews.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
That's how we're able to enjoy Thanksgiving because of their talent.
And I do not argue with that at all. I
can remember working out at the airport in the backroom,
you know, over these holidays, and it was absolutely brutal.
We do have along those lines some sound from Sean
Duffy talking about just how we can all be more
civilized on flights. I think I am already, but but
(04:20):
how can flying become more civilized for all of us?
I think his first suggestion was no pajamas. Ryan, does
it bother you when people wear pajamas on flights. I
can't say that's ever really stood out for me. Are
some other things that do. And you know, I'm glad
we don't have young kids right now, but but but boy,
(04:42):
I think parents have young kids right now, and that
came out wrong. I would kill to have our kids
be four and six again, you know things like that.
I mean, those are the best years. Every year in
life is tremendous, right, but those are the best years
in life when you've got those young kids and your
race them and all the fun stuff that goes along
with that.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
But what I'm saying is there are some extra challenges now,
particular in.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Flights, because yeah, you have all these.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
People watching stuff with a bunch of nudity, and often
those screens are visible to other people on the flight,
and I think that's got to be a particular challenge.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
For a lot of parents. And then how do you
deal with that?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
I'd be curious to know three or three seven, one,
three eight two five five texts DN five seven seven
three nine.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Damn. The most important.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Question is who coalesced the so called seditious six. And
I'm glad somebody texts on that because it's high on
my show. Prep for today, and I am not directly
connecting it to this targeted shooting of the National Guard
troops in DC.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
We just don't have the information yet.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
You could see how that would happen, but we don't
know yet that's what happened. But I had wanted to
make the point today the Texter is driving at which
is I was so happy to see that the FBI
is going to be interviewing or at least asking to
interview to Crow and the others who were part of
his gang, because it's very, very important to find out
(06:07):
who is behind this as you evaluate first of all
the security of the country, also potential criminal charges who
is behind it. I'm not predicting or expecting or calling
for at this point criminal charges against Crow or any
of his gang, because, as I said, when this first
(06:27):
was inflicted on the country, they protected themselves by saying
unlawful don't follow unlawful orders. Even though a very strong
argument could be made that the overall video was intended
to encourage members of the military to not follow lawful orders,
I think a strong argument can be made to that effect.
(06:49):
But in terms of legal prosecution, note they I think
they immunize themselves there unless additional information is found. Now,
others more familiar with the Code of Military Justice, which
would be virtually anybody who's ever read it, may be
able to prove me wrong on that, which I would
welcome because I think what was done was so wrong
and so dangerous and I personally believe so maliciously intended
(07:14):
that if somebody can prove me wrong on that, that's great.
I'm just sitting here saying right now a pretty good
track record at predicting when charges are going to be brought,
and if they're brought, when they're going to be successful.
I'm just telling you my take on this is yet
that that Crow likely did not commit any kind of
criminal offense. But it's so important for the FBI to
(07:35):
get to the bottom of it because who is behind it,
and what is their intent and what is their overall play?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
You know, what does this very damaging effort to undermine
the military? What does it tie into? If anything?
Speaker 1 (07:50):
You know, if whoever's behind it has as other plans.
For example, we've seen some billboards pop up at this
point along a similar line. Is this part of a
bigger plan? I don't know the answer to that, because
I don't know who's behind it. We know the one
Democrat senator has referred to having been sent a script
for this.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Who generated the script? I mean, these are.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
All big important questions that the FBI needs to get
answered to determine the true intent, whether it's part of
a bigger plan, and whether that bigger plan is to
actively encourage the military to defy lawful orders. Now, when
you get a situation like this where the military is
(08:33):
presented with this case that the president is using the
military against the people and the military needs to defy
any quote on lawful orders, but they don't identify even
a single un lawful order, which leads to the very
good argument that they were actually asking the military to
defy lawful orders. So yeah, FBI needs to get to
(08:54):
the bottom. Who's behind it? Is it part of a
bigger effort to cause this ru in our military? What
did Crow and the others truly intend? Can that be
ascertained from other evidence out there? But if the evidence
just comes down to the actual video, right, I don't
expect criminal prosecution because of the use of the word unlawful.
(09:16):
So that ties into the discussion today. Is that connected
and I underline is I don't know the answer to it.
Is it connected to the targeting, targeted shooting of the
National guardsman who obviously shot with intent to kill.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
There was actually an.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
AP report that they had died, and thankfully we're being
told no, that the two service members have not died,
and so prayers for them. Love your take three or
three seven one three eight two five five texts DA
N five seven seven three nine.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
You're on the Dan Kapla Show.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
It's an attack Jamie Priser by the President of the
United States. Now, he may disagree with the state that
didn't vote for him, but should he be sending troops
in No, he.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Said he has other aims. What are the other aims?
Speaker 4 (10:11):
The other aims are that he'd like to stop the
elections in twenty twenty six or frankly, take control of
those elections.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Well, that is JB. Pritzker.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
He's the governor of Illinois and he's talking about Trump
sending National Guard into Chicago.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
And again we don't.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Know the motives of this killer he intended to kill. Fortunately,
we're told that both members of the National Guard are
still alive, and pray that they remain alive and recover well.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
But that kind of talk.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
And I always say, and I've said for many, many
years on air, that we can't be censoring legitimate political
speech out of concern that some nutjob is going to
twist those words and go out and commit violence. We
can't be censoring everybody's political speech over that. And I'm
(11:06):
not suggesting we ever do that. But if you're going
to go out there and say completely deranged, provably false,
inflammatory stuff like that, then you're in a different league.
And Pritzker has to know that Trump is not sending
the National Guard into Chicago so there aren't any elections
(11:27):
in the future. He knows that, knows that he's lying,
and he knows that there are deranged people out there.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
The governor says that the president's our enemy and he's
trying to cancel elections. Pritzker knows that creates danger. Just
like and I'm not blaming Benette Crowe or any of
his gang who tried to subvert Trump with the military
in that dangerous video. I'm not blaming them for what
(11:54):
happened today. Nobody knows the motive of this attacker today,
But The point is, when Crow cut that video, he
had to know.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
He's a smart guy. He had to know that video was.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Going to create massive, massive, additional danger of assassination to Trump.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
He had to know that.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I'm not saying it was his intent with the video
to get the President killed. I think clearly the President
believes it was the intent of Crow and Kelly and everybody.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Else on that video to get him killed.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
And then you have to ask, well, can you blame
the president for believing that after everything he's been through.
But today's shooter, we just don't know. We don't have
enough information, but we know that it was reckless what
Crow did and recklessly created additional danger. We know what
Pritsker did was reckless and recklessly created additional danger. That
(12:46):
doesn't mean they cause this, but they certainly recklessly and
knowingly created additional danger. And again, I truly don't know
Crows too much of a coward to come on the show.
I truly don't know whether that's what he intended with
the video, So I'm going to assume he did not.
But how could somebody smart not realize that was going
(13:09):
to be the effect, whether it was intended or not.
Three all three seven to one three two five five
the number text d AN five seven seven three nine.
And again we'll just have to wait and see what
the motive was of this monster today who intended to
kill both of those troops. Did you see the false
or incorrect AP report Ryan that both National Guard soldiers
(13:31):
had died, But.
Speaker 5 (13:32):
They had based that on uh information given to them
by the West Virginia governor from where both guardsmen originate.
They're both Moms or West Virginia. So the governor got
that wrong.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, that's really concerning, Yeah, really concerning. It Obviously concerns
me about what the condition of each of these National
guardsmen is, because for the governor to make that statement,
it makes me fear that they're very very close to death.
Three h three seven one three eight two five five
texts DN five seven seven three nine.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
So prayers for them.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
I'll get to the text in a second, but want
to get you some of the other reactions from leftist
media today here is ABC.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
Focus will turn to whether these guardsmen were specifically targeted.
If that's the case, it would fit with what we've
been hearing from law enforcement officials for a number of
months now that some political flash points in the country,
whether that's immigration policies by the administration, the ongoing Israel
(14:39):
Hamas conflict, even amid attenuous ceasefire. Those kinds of flashpoints
have made people in uniform, be they military, law enforcement,
government officials, people in uniform have increasingly been targets and
that is going to be one focus of the investigation
going forward.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Sore as ABC there trying to blame Trump for this
his immigration policies, is that what they're trying to do. Well,
listen to what ms now and what in the world
is ms now? Is that some offshoot of MSNBC.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
It's it is MSNBC now rebranded. Oh really correct, that's.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Kind of waving the right white flag, right when you
have to change your name, that's that's when you know
you have been defeated.
Speaker 7 (15:26):
But of course, you know, there's so much controversy happening
in the United States right now with Ice who are
also wearing uniforms and wearing masks, and so there's you
don't know, people walking around with uniforms in an American city.
There are some Americans that might.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Object to that.
Speaker 7 (15:48):
It's so I'm fairly just shooting has.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Happened well, MSNBC at least is Kendalanian sounds to me
like blaming the victims somehow justifying the shooting is that
you heard from that three oh three seven one three
eight two five five of the number Tegt.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
D An five seven seven three nine.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Dan. The News is reporting that the guardsman of Dodgya
as we just touched on AP reported that. But Ryan
tells me that that was based on what the West
Virginia governor said. Obviously, we're going to keep our eyes
on that this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Dan.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
I've heard the clips about twenty times and the responses
from all the participants. I guess the issue is about
the Venezuelan drug boat interdictions, but no nobody has said that.
Nobody has come out and said this is critical. Nor
has Benedict Crow come out and said those orders, those
orders to take out those drug boats are unlawful. You're
(16:40):
not hearing Crow say that. You're not hearing cro say that.
Why aren't you hearing Crow say that? Well, in my opinion,
you're not hearing cro say that because, first thing aren't
and second, at that point, once Crow, once Crow is
telling the members of the military to disobey a particular order,
he's going to jail unless he can prove that was
(17:01):
an unlawful order. So that's why you see all these cowards.
And I understand Crow was very courageous in his military service,
and I've said it a thousand times on air.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
I admire him for that. I'm grateful to him for that.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
But just because somebody's courageous at one point in their
life doesn't mean they're courageous at every point in their life.
Thank them and admire him for the times they were.
But it was the ultimate political cowardice to lead the
members of the military into this peril, tempting them to
disobey orders from the commander in chief without telling them
(17:34):
what orders from the commander in chief they should disobey,
what orders from the commander in chief are unlawful. That's
the ultimate political cowardice. And it leads me to believe
my constitutionally protected opinion. I can't prove it, it's my opinion.
It leads me to believe they were absolutely trying to
generate chaos in the military while protecting themselves legally by saying, oh,
(17:56):
unlawful orders and why not tell them? And yeah, no
to the Texter's point and thank you for that.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Text.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Crow isn't saying that's an unlawful order. And if it
was an unlawful order, don't you think he'd say that?
Three out three someone three eight two five five text
d A N five seven seven three nine. There'll be
a lot of hard turns during the show today because
we're going to be talking about this deadly serious thing,
but then also doing some of the lighter stuff we
(18:25):
normally do the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I want to congratulate
CSU on a great hire with Jim Moore. I think
that's a tremendous hire. You may remember he used to
coach UCLA, has been very successful at Connecticut. In my
brief experience with him, which is very limited, I think
he's very very impressive in so many different ways. So
(18:47):
I think that is a great, great hire for CSU.
Three h three someone three eight two five five lines
are popping. We'll come back to those. I'll continue to
mix in text who do you blame for the shooting?
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Today? Where do you think this is all going to end?
You're on the Dan Capitlas Show.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Didn't you hear that today, Ryan, Oh yeah, I cut
that for you. Okay, yeah, that was last night. I
guess at mar A lago An event. Trump says, where's
Gabe from? Trump?
Speaker 2 (19:27):
You don't look gay? He is the funniest president ever.
I'm sorry. I'm sure everybody took it in good humor.
Oh yeah, all right, we're going to mix calls and text.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
We're talking obviously about the attempted murder of two brave
troops in d C today. National guardsmen will keep you
up to the minute on their condition and hopefully everybody
praying for them. And we're talking about cause we've got
a texture, says Dan.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
I blame the shooter for the shooting today. That's a
good start.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
That's a good start, and I think responsibly we have
to as responsible or they're talking about school shooters, people
who attack our men and women in uniform. We have
to dig as deep as we possibly can and find
every contributing factor so we can try to stop the
next one. Obviously, at this point, we don't even know
who the shooter is, let alone what the motivators are.
(20:16):
We know the surrounding circumstances and why there's good cause
to be concerned they may have motivated the shooter, but
we don't have the facts at this point. Let's start
in beautiful Franktown, Colorado. We'll talk with Jill. You're on
the Dan Kapla Show. And of course Franktown the scene
of that horrific mass killing committed by a criminal who
stole a car in Colorado, as so many do, because
(20:39):
they've essentially been assured by the Attorney General very very
soft treatment here and then slaughtered this young father and
multiple children.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Jill, Welcome to the show.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
Hi Dan, Thank you. First of all, Happy Thanksgiving you
too on this sad day, but happy Thanksgiving. And of
course all my prayers go to these National guardsmen. But
the thing that you were you were doing with the
ms NBC, which I call more stupid news crap, and
(21:14):
they're rebranding, so I can't say what I say what
I think it is now, thank you. But our our
guardsmen where a uniform. It's a uniform that is everywhere
as a guardsman and they don't look anything like I.
(21:36):
And for ms NBC to say, well they you know,
we don't know if they shout them because they were
eyes or they were you know that that's just insanity
to me, insanity to me and know better, they know better,
and they they they do want to blame Trump and
then also our Jason Crowe, Oh my gosh. But anyway,
(21:59):
he did didn't make reference. He didn't say that's what
the illegal part was. But he didn't make reference to
those boats that we have been blowing up. Keep those
drugs off of our shores.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Right.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
But but Jill, he won't take that next step and
say that was an illegal order because if he was
telling them, if Jason crow and he must know this, right,
he's a smart guy, if he was to come out
and tell the men and women of the military to
defy that order, he would go to jail and he'd
be there a long time because he cannot prove that's
an unlawful order exactly.
Speaker 8 (22:36):
Yeah, it's uh, he just bring he's just you know,
it's the passive passive aggressive Stevens passive aggressive. That's all
it is. Yeah, And that's what they're famous for.
Speaker 7 (22:48):
You know.
Speaker 8 (22:48):
Oh, well, I didn't really say that. I didn't really
mean that, you know, but they say it without saying it.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Yeah, they may have been they may have been way
too cute for their own good. Here, Jill, thank you
for the call. And I talked to Jill about the
Colorado ag essentially inviting car thieves. Here, I'm referring to
this sound, this from July of twenty twenty two.
Speaker 9 (23:09):
After someone commits a third or fourth car theft in
say three months, they should be kept in with a
really high bond, because you got a sense they're gonna
get out, they're going to commit more crimes.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
And this goes to a broader problem, which is what
you've had, is you've had the Left implicitly inviting criminals
from all over America to come to Colorado. I mean,
if you're a criminal in America, where would you rather be?
Where could you go to expect better treatment as a
criminal for any level of crime you commit than Colorado?
(23:44):
And at Polis and Johnston and Hickel, Leburn Bennett, they've
all done the same thing with illegal immigration. If you're
somebody in this nation illegally, where could you go that
would be.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Better for you than Colorado?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Where the Democrats just changed a lot to say you
can get a driver's license here first, stay here.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
You don't have to.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Show you ben here a while or paid any taxes
or intended to stay. So they are implicitly actively recruiting,
you know, people to come to Colorado, car thieves to
come to Colorado. People in the country legally, whether the
people are otherwise good people who wouldn't commit any of
their crimes, or whether the people in the country legally
(24:22):
who are hard and rapists and murders, they're inviting them
all here.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Garry in Cheyenne, You're on the Dan Capitalist Show.
Speaker 10 (24:28):
Welcome, Yes, or can you hear me?
Speaker 4 (24:32):
Dan?
Speaker 2 (24:32):
I can hear you. Now, let's trademark that.
Speaker 10 (24:36):
Yes or uh. I was a storm Russian reporter in
the seventies in the Marine Corps. Not that that means
anything except for the fact that I try to describe
some of that that video and basically the first part
of it is they are saying, basically, they're saying that
everything that Trump says is in a league order. You
(24:59):
are in said listen to the last part. You need
to listen to the first part of it.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Gary, give me a second.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
I want to reach into my foul cabinet because I
had a transcribed also, so let me pull the reporter's
transcript I had done. Give me one second, Ryan, I'll
keep you entertained while I'll pull that out.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Sure he seriously means this.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Okay, Gary, So specifically, what are you referring to for
our listeners out there?
Speaker 8 (25:23):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (25:23):
It says the administration is hitting our uniform military and
intelligence communities, community professionals, I guess American citizens. And then
there's on that little less and I say, stretch to
our constitution. Aren't just coming from it? You nailed it, man,
But from right here at home? Our laws are clearer
(25:46):
they are saying, aren't they saying that every quarter that
Trump gives is illegal?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
See?
Speaker 1 (25:53):
Gary, I am so impressed that you're going to hold
it up for Ryan to see. He can vouch for me. Ryan,
tell everybody, did I or did I not highlight the
exact portions that our friend Gary, the former court reporter
just read.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
I'm seeing the highlighted areas right there on your two
sheets of paper, word for word.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
I had the exact same read on it, Gary, But
have I had one thing highlighted in front of it?
This is one of the six Americans trust they're military,
but that trust is at risk. This administration is pitying
our uniform military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens,
(26:32):
And I think you are one hundred percent correct. What
I think what any reasonable person would take from that,
and any member of our military would take from that
is is yes, this administration they are alleging is issuing
unlawful orders to the members of the military, because that's
that's how they would be pitying our uniform military and
(26:54):
the intelligence professionals against American citizens.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
How else could they do it?
Speaker 7 (27:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah, man, great, great point, great point. Gary, No, I
hear you a loud and clear. I'm so impressed you
picked up on that.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Thank you. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
And you know, a court reporter like Gary whused to
do court reporters and court martials. Anybody you know who's
a court reporter, they could probably walk into court today
if they do in courtroom work and be a great
trial lawyer. It is such a great blessing to have
a great court reporter. That three week trial we just
did up beautiful Garfield County. We had a phenomenal court reporter,
(27:35):
woman named Sheila. She was fantastic, and it just it
makes the trial better for everybody. But yeah, these court
reporters could walk in and try the case themselves. But
listen to the verbatim that you're hearing from the Seditious Six.
This administration is pitying our uniform military and intelligence community
professionals against American citizens. How is that anything other than
(28:00):
a statement that they are issuing unlawful orders right now?
How could they be pitting the military against American citizens
unless they were doing it unlawfully. But it's even worse
than that, isn't it. I mean, think about it during
this break. It's even worse than that. What they're saying
(28:22):
to people is that that this administration has now turned
the military on the American people. Think about how that
endangers the members of the military. When you've got these
veterans telling the American military and the American people because
they knew this video would go to everybody military or not,
(28:45):
that the military has already been turned on American citizens.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
So wouldn't it.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Occur to this Seditious six that they're not putting only
putting Trump in grave danger of assassination, They're putting the
members of our military in grave danger of assassination by
telling the American people that the military has been pitted
against the people, that that's on, that that's happening right now.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
You're on the Dankplas Show.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
I'm really glad you turned me on too it because
now it's in my playlist.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
Love it.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
I love that song. What's the name again? It's like
hopping Bunny or something? What is that? I was close?
I love that song. I love that song, and.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
I kind of flashed back to my dream last night.
You know, it was so weird, and I'm wondering if
there's a connection here, because you know, when I play
that song, I obviously think of my wife. But you know,
I don't need a lot of sleep, and it's you know,
we all have our pluses and minuses. My one great
talent is I don't need a lot of sleep, and
(30:06):
I can function really well on very low sleep. So
I normally don't get much sleep. But last night, Ryan,
I fell into this incredibly deep sleep, I mean, like
one of those super deep sleeps, and for the first
time in maybe two years, I overslept.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
So I was in this deep, deep sleep, and.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
I was in this deep dream, and a lot of
the deep dream was about our marriage and our younger years.
Have you ever had those dreams where it's as real
as if you were standing right there. And sometimes it's
talking to somebody who's you know, left this earth, but
(30:48):
this one, it was just my wife and I in
our younger years. And then I woke up and I thought, wow,
that's so interesting. Why did that happen? But that song
reminded me of the dream last night, and then you
know what I thought might have triggered it. Do you
have an iPhone?
Speaker 3 (31:05):
Nope?
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Got to and right now, okay, well with the iPhone,
there's a new feature.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
There's a new feature, and the way it works is
you'll get a text and it'll flash on your home screen.
But sometimes it's just part of the text. And I
was in the middle of the show yesterday and I
couldn't interrupt him in the middle of a segment, and
I got this text that just immediately like short circuited me.
(31:30):
It was from my wife and it said I'm dying,
and it just like short circuited me. So played little sound,
went to my phone, see what's going on? And it
was part of a larger conversation where she's laughing at
a picture of oh Man the dog.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
That Caroline had sent me. You know what I mean.
But I just.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
Wonder whether the way the human mind works. Whether that
then triggered that deep sleep and all those memories ease
of our early life together, does that make any sense?
Speaker 2 (32:03):
No, it doesn't.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
But I'm just trying to, yeah, trying to figure all
that out. But I do want to shift gears and
get to something really, really important. And I thank our
caller from Cheyenne for raising this because I had obtained
I had the Seditious six video transcribed, and I obtained
the transcript because I wanted to make sure I had
(32:24):
the verbatim right. And he made this critical point that
may or may not tie into this horrific attempt to
kill the two National guardsmen today. We don't know the
motive of the actual monster because we don't even know
his name yet, but listen to this. From the start
of the Seditious six video, This administration is pitying our
(32:47):
uniform military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens. So
what these veterans did was to tell all Americans that
the military is now their enemy.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
That doesn't mean.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
That that's what caused this attempt to kill the National
guardsman today, but it does mean that it was a flagrantly,
diabolically reckless thing. For these veterans to say, and I'm
quoting verbatim, this administration is pitting our uniform military and
intelligence community professionals against American citizens. That's a present tense
(33:33):
statement that it's happening right now. It's on the military
is your enemy. That's what they're telling people now. Is
that their intent? I don't know, they're not coming on
the show, but we know the words they used, and
how would you interpret those words? Yet, how would somebody
(33:54):
unhinged interpret those words? You have these respected veterans, many
now serving in call, all now serving in Congress, right
coming out in saying the military has been pitted against
American citizens and then going on to call on the
military to disobey orders that they protectively label and lawful.
(34:16):
But they don't tell you what those are. But that's
what's really getting missed here, this verbatim statement, this administration
is pitting our uniform military and intelligence community professionals against
American citizens. How is that anything other than a message
to American citizens that the military has been pitted against you,
the military is now your enemy.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
How is it saying anything other than that? Ryan?
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Am I missing something? Semantically? You're very very good at
this picky semanical style.
Speaker 5 (34:46):
Well, and yeah, we've been picking that apart, you and me,
both in the same way, but maybe from two different angles.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
And for me, it just undermines the confidence.
Speaker 5 (34:54):
Of the troops and the orders they're being given, puts
them in peril having them make a decision that they
are not supposed to make in the chain of command.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
So that's where I come at it.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
And the additional analysis that you've provided, I think bears
the only explanation as to where this was all going
and why they did it in the first place.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Yeah, and it's this part that hasn't received enough attention,
right because all of the focus has been on the
call to disobey orders and Benner de krohe said, well,
I only said on law.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Florders, but he won't point out even a.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Single on law florder. So isn't the real intent to
say disobey orders? But that question aside, there hasn't been
a lot of attention on this, this flat out statement
this administration is that means right now, pitying our uniform
military against American citizens. That means the military to a
(35:50):
reasonable American citizen if they were to believe this, it
means the military is your enemy right now, correct, And
that's coming from Jason Crowe and Mark Kelly.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Was the Slotkin?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Wow wow, so very reckless. I'm not saying it caused
the attack, the attempt to kill the National guardsman today,
we just don't have information on the shooter or the
motive right now, but you could see where it would cause.
Somebody never justified the opposite of justified, heinous, demonic, criminal murder.
(36:25):
But if veterans are going to say the military is
your enemy right now,
