This is Dan Caplis and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. These are fun days. We've got
what we've got the primary today, and there are some important primary races in

(00:21):
Colorado. I think we all knowhow all of them are going to turn
out, but we can have thatconversation today eight five five four zero five
eight two five five the number textd An five seven seven three nine.
Who do you think is going towin these different races? And do you
think any of these Republicans in Republicandistricts are now going to be vulnerable in

(00:41):
a general. That'll lead to abroader conversation obviously about Okay, what is
the key to the GOP winning statewide? Again? I think I have the
answer to that, and maybe onethat you haven't heard much or anywhere before.
So yeah, we got that conversationright, but that we've got this
first in our lifetime deal on Thursdaynight. Whatever you want to call it,

(01:03):
you can't call it a presidential debatebecause only one of the guys is
going to be the candidate come electionday. Biden won't be, but it's
going to be quite the spectacle. So we'll have the latest on all that.
And I know there's still a lotof people who have a lot on
their minds about that, and youknow, things can change. So maybe
people who yesterday thought that, hey, this is the way to go or
this is how it's going to turnout, they may have a different view

(01:23):
today based on stuff that's happened betweenyesterday and today. No, so we
got all that on the political front. Cool, but we got a lot
of stuff going on locally here inColorado. It's not directly about politics.
Ultimately, ultimately it's shaped by electionday. But we've got to talk about
because chances are pretty good you're listeningto the show in your car. Maybe

(01:45):
not, but if you are, then you probably drove this morning and or
you'll drive tonight. And the simplereality is this state has become a killing
field. It's become a killing fieldon our roadways, and it's crazy.
It's madness. There's always going tobe some of that, right, It's
just part of the human condition. It's horrific and it's sad, but there's
so much unnecessary killing on our roadwaysthat can be prevented. So I want

(02:08):
to talk to you about the lateston that front. Obviously, this state
is under assault from reckless truckers. Now, the good truckers, they're true
pros, they are true pros, and they allow us to have this great
life we have, but the underbellyof the trucking industry, which is getting
larger by the day. We areunder assault from that underbelly of the trucking

(02:30):
industry. And literally nobody's safe anywhere. You got to be wondering sometimes,
are you going to be the nextcar that literally gets blown up by some
trucker who knew their brakes are badand kept driving anyway, or didn't care
whether they had good breaks, orthey're not looking at the road while they're
going full speed or whatever. Yougotta wonder if you're going to be next,
right, because so much of thisis happening. So I want to

(02:52):
talk to you about what we needto do together across party lines, to
protect ourselves, to protect ourselves fromthis assault on our state. Unfortunately,
the Left has brought this on us. You're always going to have some but
the left has brought this on usin a much bigger form. So we
got all that to talk about, and anything else on your mind. We
work for you to a point eightfive five four zero five eight two five

(03:15):
five the number text d an fiveseven seven three nine Ryan, my heart
is singing. Yeah, maybe calledthe cardiologist. Oh well, but yeah,
no, my heart is singing.I just saw the Fox News Swing
state polling, and we all knowthat the top line nationally, which is
largely irrelevant unless it reveals a changein the treadline, had shown that Biden

(03:38):
had moved ahead of Trump a coupleof points in the top line polling,
which would be a three point shiftin his favor nationwide. But as everyone
knows, it's the swing states thatmatter. And Fox Swing state polling,
the latest came out today, andTrump, I believe, is leading in
each and every swing states. Sohave those margins narrowed, et cetera.

(04:00):
We'll get that data for you andprobably in the next segment. But still
up in the swing states, andI didn't see any radical shift there.
Maybe there's been a little nibble, but still up solidly in the swing state.
Just to reinforce those Fox numbers quickly. Here dan polls that came out
today, first the Atlanta Journal Constitution, no conservative outlet with the third party

(04:20):
candidates included, there'd be RFK,Cornell West, Jill Stein, Trump plus
five in Georgia, and then FabrizioAND's alone that is a very reputable polling
service in Nevada has Trump up threehead to head, but again third party
candidates, Trump plus seven in Nevada. So I think those are reflecting comparable

(04:41):
results to what you're citing in theFox News polling. And then we'll see
what happens post Thursday night as well. Yeah, no, interesting. I
do think the Fox is going tobe most significant because we know they're the
national top line polling had to movein Biden's direction. So if there's a
disconnect between that and what's happening inthe swing states, that encouraging and good
to see, right since so muchof the focus is on the Swing states

(05:03):
pretty much everybody else in all theseother states. I mean, we're interested
here, we follow it every day. So much of the future for our
children and grandchildren, everything depend onit. But we're not going to decide
this election. You know, Trumpis not going to win Colorado. We
all know that, but that doesn'tmean we can't still support his campaign.

(05:24):
That doesn't mean we're not interested inthis stuff. Eight five to five for
zero five eight two five to fivethe number. But yeah, the swing
states know they get to decide this. We'll talk also about the court today
in the wrongful conviction case in NewYork of Trump easing up on the gag
order a little bit just before thisdebate, right, yeah, when you've

(05:46):
got Biden out there running blanket adds, you know, labeling Trump as a
convicted felon be nice. If Trump'sable to fully defend himself in the debate,
though, how much of that shouldhe do? And let's throw that
out there to start this thing.Eight five five five A two five five
text d A N five seven seventhree nine. What do you want to
see Trump do or not do Thursdaynight with regard to the convicted felon thing,

(06:10):
because you know that's going to beright in his face whether Biden does
it. Because Biden must realize, right, he probably doesn't care because he
knows he won't be the candidate thatall he's doing is helping Trump when he
brings it up, because he's justconfirming he was behind it in the minds
of many. So it'll probably beleft to Biden's assistance Tapper and Bash,
you know, to hit Trump withit, and now Trump reacts to it,

(06:33):
et cetera. But how do youwant to see Trump react to it?
By the way, Ryan, I'mnot backing off my prediction that people
on Friday are going to be saying, Wow, Tapper and Bash were better
to Trump than I thought they'd be. But they're still going to do some
of that dirty work eight five fivefor zero five A two five five text

(06:53):
d an five seven seventh three nine. I'll stop saying that because I have
all these texts I need to getto already. Dan. Yes, George
Brockler will win exclamation point that fromAlexa. Ryan. Do you agree with
that prediction? Yes, I dotoo. I do believe that. And
listen, he's going to do agreat job out there. Dan, just
say no to jacked up Joe doctorRonnie Jackson. I don't believe that's the

(07:16):
real doctor Ronnie Jackson. What doyou think about this play from the president
now talking often about how Biden's ondrugs, it's his way of raising expectations
for Biden, right, he's fortunatelyoff of Biden. Can't string two sentences
together because we know they can getBiden up enough looking better and expected for

(07:38):
one of these things. So nowhe's on the well, Biden will look
better than expected because in Trump's words, they're shooting them up in the A
whatever. I know we can saythat word on radio. No, I
just don't like to say it thatoften. You say another word all the
time that I've kind of talked toyou behind the scenes that maybe we shouldn't.
Really what word is that you comming? You are playing off the God

(08:01):
Hates flags? Oh my lord, that's you cannot cover that news story talking
about the truth of what is beingsaying there. That F word is way
more offensive in my mind than asks. And Ryan is not talking about the
F word, by way, butin community, we don't have to hint.
He's talking about this issue of theGOP email that said God hates flags,

(08:24):
which I believe, in many othersbelieve was intended to echo the horrible
Westboro Baptist Church. No reflection onour Baptist trends, which has this horrible
motto and email domain and web domainof God Hates fags. That that's the
awfulness of that Westboro Baptist Church. And I believe the Colorado GOP email was

(08:48):
intended to echo that, which Ithink is absolutely despicable and anybody involved in
that should not be involved with theColorado GOP. In my humble opinion,
I agree with you one hundred percent. Yeah, eight five five zero five.
I have a two to five tofive the number. Dan Trump was
definitely a coke doer. Back inthe day, I thought he was,
well, he's a diet coke guy. Yeah, I've never seen any if

(09:11):
the guy doesn't do drugs, hedoesn't do this or that. Listen,
he just did a sit down andinterviewed, and I believe him. He's
never drank no alcohol, So he'sgonna do cocaine. I don't think so.
He's never smoked cigarettes. He's gonnado cocaine. I don't think so.
And he told his kids, don'tsmoke, don't do drugs, don't
don't drink. He's told his ownchildren that. I don't believe for one
second Donald Trump has done cocaine eightfive five for a five A two five

(09:33):
five when we come back, ofcourse, all the calls on election day
debate all that stuff. But Iwant to get into this Denver Post piece
on Diamond Mike Johnston. What hesays they're going to do to try to
cut the killing rate on Denver roadwaysand is he missing the point big time
because he's not willing to do theleft is not willing to do what would
actually work to protect you. You'reon the Dan Caplas Show and now back

(09:56):
to the Dankapless Show podcast. Justinto our newsroom. Governor Gavin Newsom is
moving back to the Bay Area, the Governor's office confirming to CACR three he
will move back to Marin County. The governor's office says the governor and the
first partner, Jennifer Cibel Newsom willkeep their Sacramento area residence and we'll stay

(10:16):
there when spending the night in Sacramentoand er. A statement released to CACR
three the governor's office says, inpart, the governor and first partner want
to create continuity in their children's education. Yeah, during the presidential campaign,
right, Isn't that what that's allabout? Moving the family back to Marin

(10:37):
County. Yeah, so the kidscan be in school there during the presidential
campaign. I don't think that's subtleat all. Eight five five four zero
five eight two five five the number. Obviously, the candidate's not going to
be Biden no matter how he doeson Thursday night. So yeah, I
think that's just a newsome getting readyto launch. David in Loveland. You're

(10:58):
on the Dan Kapla show. Welcome, Hi, Dan. You were asking
should be for the respective candidates Thursdaynight, Biden, it's a pretty low
bar. He has to be ableto express coaching thoughts, not the headlights
like they overstarts to the sweeves ofhis jacket. I really think that's all

(11:22):
he has to do. Fill himup with memorized talking points. Ask him
a follow up. He's just goingto report peat the talking point. My
friend, may I respectfully disagree.Just looking for permission here, But yeah,
David, here's my thought. Bidenis irrelevant on Thursday night, with

(11:43):
one exception. If he has oneof those deeply sad freeze ups that we've
seen repeatedly over the last few weeks, then it ends sooner for him.
Then it's just over officially on Thursdaynight, right, rather than having some
ants between now and the convention. But even if Biden exceeds expectations, and

(12:05):
I agree with you that happens byshowing up and fogging the mirror. Even
if he does that, it's notgoing to cause people to forget what they've
been watching. It's it's not goingto cause people to forget that he's normally
non functional, that that that he'sin steep cognitive and physical decline. People

(12:26):
aren't going to forget that because ofone night where where he's doing better than
he normally does. Are they hegot a bounce when they pumped him full
of red bull or whatever for theState of the Union, he did get
a bounce or how long then thathe went in back into the deer in
a headlight mode, right right?So I think that's and I'm not in

(12:52):
agreement with you that it's we're goingto agree to disagree if he's going to
be the nominee or not. Well, unless you're the Good Lord, I
don't know how we can do that, because only the Good Lord can reverse
this process that we're watching unfold.I mean, David, don't close your
eyes if you're driving, but inyour mind's eye, tell us now to
tell all these people listening what JoeBiden is going to look like and how

(13:15):
he's going to be functioning on Octoberfirst, the way we've seen now,
Oh, you think he's going tobe is that predicated upon because I'm a
good president and I've done good things. Campaign is predicated on p see and

(13:39):
Trump will be a fascist dictator.Yeah, David, appreciate the call.
We're having a little trouble with yourline. I appreciate the call. I
believe that that is too one dimensional, because certainly you've got a big group
of folks. As long as Bidencan FuG up a mirror, they're going
to vote for Biden. That's theway to vote against Trump, as I

(14:01):
said in twenty twenty, and it'strue again this time around. I don't
think there were five people in thecountry who actually voted for Joe Biden in
twenty twenty. I think you hada lot of people who voted against Trump.
Unfortunately, this time around, evenfewer people are actually going to vote
for Joe Biden. They're just goingto use him to vote for a Trump

(14:22):
alternative. Right. But I thinkyou've got a group of folks who are
going to decide the election in theswing states who are simply not willing to
vote for Kamala Harris, and theyknow that a vote for Biden is a
vote for Kamala Harris because he's notfunctional now. He'll be less functional by
October one, he'll be less functionalby November one. And there's not one

(14:46):
person in America who's going to votefor Biden believing that he's going to serve
out much of his second term.So that's why I think our friend David's
analysis is just too one dimensional there. All I'm saying is, and Ryan,
you tell me if I'm wrong. All I'm saying is Thursday Night is
not going to change anybody's impression ofBiden's fitness for office long term. People

(15:11):
may come away saying, hey, man, whatever they use to jack them
up, I want some of that, but it's not going to cause them
to forget everything they've seen with Bidenin the past, and it's not going
to cause them to ignore what theysee from Biden going forward. I don't
think you're right. I don't thinka lot's going to change fundamentally after Thursday

(15:31):
Night. I think Donald Trump couldreally solidify his position in this race with
a strong performance, and I believethat he will. I think Biden could
seal his fate. To your pointabout your theory him not being in the
race, there's a lot of obstaclesto get there, but if he lays
an egg on Thursday night, thatmight cement it. That's right up there

(15:52):
with my theory that the sun risesin the east. Okay, quite a
theory there, now, please oldclaim please. The race can't changed dramatically
on Thursday night, but it canonly change dramatically in Trump's favor. If
Trump has a great night on Thursdaynight, then the race changes dramatically in
Trump's favor, with carryover against whomthe DEM nominee will actually be. If

(16:18):
Trump has an off night. Trumphas been able to recover from off nights
and off performances before because he hasenough strengths and he did well enough.
I did very well in fact inhis first term, and off night is
not going to kill Donald Trump. On Thursday, a great night could come
close to ceiling it. Quick question, because I want the listeners to kind

(16:40):
of visualize where you and I areon this kind of continuum of Joe Biden.
What percentage chance do you believe JoeBiden will be on the ballot as
the nominee as the candidate on Novemberfifth? What percentage chance that he will
be that he will be percent?Five percent? Okay, I think it's

(17:02):
seventy five percent. Okay, well, dudes, that mean I get seventy
percent of a Tamaha. No no, no, no, because he either
will or he won't be Dan.And time's a ticking here. It's June
twenty fifth, November fifth. Imean, we're coming up on four months
away. And if they're gonna switchhim out, the mechanics of that have
to happen. The wool over theeyes of the American people has to happen.

(17:25):
They got to fool Are they gonnafool people in the middle. They're
gonna fool their own can stitch?Oh voll vote blue, no matter whom.
No. That's that's why Thursday Nightis happening. Biden knows he's not
going to be around for the normaldebates season. This is Biden's doing.
This is his chance to get onemore venom spew at Trump before Biden becomes

(17:47):
irrelevant. That's that's what Thursday Night'sabout. Okay, why do you think
it's happening? But we've never hadthis before. It's happening because Joe Biden
knows he will not be around,he will not be capable of debating Donald
Trump during the fall. I thinkit's his last chance to prove that he
can for people that are around himwell, with all due respect, all
the bunk that pretty quickly when weget back, no offense intended, and

(18:10):
we will get into this traffic carnageon the streets of Denver or what Mike
Johnston says they want to do tochange that. What you think about that,
I think he's unwilling to do whatwill really make a difference because of
his lefty politics. Are on theDan Kapla Show, you're listening to the

(18:30):
Dan Kaplis Show podcast. This ishow wildly different eighty year olds are,
right. I mean, you gotBiden, who's going on one hundred and
eighty, and then you got MickJagger, right, who probably has one
hundred and eighty groupies. So it'snot the number, it's the impairment.
It's not the number, it's thefunctioning. And that's the issue with Biden,

(18:52):
who truths be told, there's nota lot of functional difficulties. For
a lot of years, there's beenmore than one screw loose there. Now
it's just very sad phase of obviousdeterioration. So if you just joined us,
we're not just beating a dead horsehere. We're talking about Thursday night.
And my premise is this that itdoesn't matter if Biden has a good
night by his normal standards that thepeople of America know at this point,

(19:18):
you know, the he's in rapiddecline, it's not going to change their
impression of his fitness to serve inoffice. On the other hand, if
he has one of these very sadfreeze ups we've been seeing, it just
means that he's out right away.So it's all about Donald Trump on Thursday
night. In my opinion, Trumpis a great night. He takes a
big step toward putting this away againstGavin Newsom or whoever it's going to be

(19:42):
Newsom. By the way we playedthe sound earlier, the announcement's just been
made. He and as Alexa notesin her text, Gavin and his quote
first partner, seems to me thatif you're not married, you don't get
to be called first anything. Right. Shouldn't that be a slam dunk?

(20:02):
What are you going to have first? Friend, first friend with benefits.
What are you going to have right? No, you gotta be married to
be first anything? Hey five orzero five A two five five? Will
get back to the phones pronto, text d An five seven, seventh three
nine. It's all about Trump onThursday night. It's a great opportunity for

(20:22):
him. He has a great night, big, big head start on whoever
the demn nominee is. Let meget to a couple of texts before you
get to the phone lines, Danand Ryan, you numbskulls. I threw
that in. When do they printthe ballots for the presidential election? That
will determine if Biden is on theballot or not. I think they will
wait until the absolute last minute andthen make a decision, because they certainly

(20:45):
don't want Biden on the ballot. If he's not running, that would take
away votes from whoever they prop upthere. Well, you're certainly right.
The gist of what you're saying iscertainly right. But he's gone by the
convention at the latest. At thelatest if they have free if he has
a freeze up on Thursday night,he's gone in the next couple of weeks
as nominee, not from the presidency, depending I guess on how bad it

(21:08):
was. But no, at thelatest it will be the convention and they're
not going to print the ballots untilafter that. I know some folks are
wondering about Ohio, where there aresome other rules. Are they going to
print sooner there? But no,they they can make the change at the
convention, and still I believe befine everywhere. Dan, you said Biden

(21:29):
wouldn't finish out his term. Youwere wrong, Ryan. I know I've
been very busy in my law practice, but I didn't realize the term had
officially ended. I know that hisrole as commander in chief has essentially ended.
He's not functioning in many respects aspresident, but officially his term is

(21:52):
still ongoing. It ain't over yet. Yees. So I don't understand that
text, Dan new name for Bidenfreezy Joe. That would that would be
a little mean he might freeze up? Yeah, well right, but those
are just sad, right, Imean, I'm sorry, those are just
sad when you just see those freezeup. So we've seen what at least

(22:14):
three in the last couple of weeks. I'll get to some more of these
texts. Let me go to thephone lines. Mix in some calls,
starting with Steven in Denver, Colorado. You're on the Dan Kaplis Show.
Welcome, Spurry Song too, SperrySong too. Ed Coombs Spiry tutuo.
Wow, that just brought me backwith altar boy memories. Yeah. I

(22:36):
would do four times a year, for six days a week, six o'clock
mass for the nuns at the convent, and then I'd walk back home,
eat breakfast, and then walk backto school. And my dad was a
copper twenty five years now. That'scool, That is cool, and that's
all the Latin I know. Bythe way, Beckhamspira tutuo. Well,

(22:57):
I know some dominant no miscom andexpaalidocious and spell Mississippi. What do you
think in Stephen, Well, I'mthinking that I'm a one issue voter and
Donald Trump's the only man that's everdealt with the border properly. I'm seventy

(23:22):
four and sound forty seven. Butthe the Republicans really dropped the ball,
and you know, they slowed down, and Stephen may do this. We're
just very focused on the debate onThursday night. How do you translate it

(23:42):
to that? What do you wantto see Trump do or not do on
Thursday. I want to see himbe thoughtful and magnanimous, Okay, And
I don't think that he could becauseif they ask him, are you willing
to admit that the twenty twenty electionwasn't stolen? I would really like him

(24:03):
to say, you know, Ithink all of us who think elections have
been stolen, jury and the tendollars an election, and the lady,
the governor, lady in Georgia,we all need to let this go and
let's just focus on this year. And I don't think he's got it in

(24:23):
them. Wow, Stephen, thatis such an interesting point. Thank you
for your call. Ryan. Doyou think we might see that? And
there's no question from that the textwe've been getting, the yesterday string of
text in particular, people want tosee, at least when it comes to
Biden's infirmities. They want to seea more gentle, magnanimous, non attacking

(24:44):
Trump. In terms of the border, I don't think anybody wants to see
general anything. No, but interms of this question we all know is
coming. So there's no excuse forTrump not hitting this thing out of three
parks he needs? Did it outof the ballpark, over the park working
lot, and over the condos behindthe parking lot. This who won in
twenty twenty question? Right, Butwhat do you think of Steven's approach,

(25:08):
which is, Hey, I thinkthat Hillary Clinton and all those who who
deny I won in sixteen, andStacy Abrams and all those people who claim
she won in Georgia, I thinkwe all just need to just say that
those elections are behind us in focuson the future. What do you think
of that response? I think it'sa great answer, and I think Stephen

(25:30):
makes a great point because it providesperspective people that watch the warped presentation of
the mainstream media dan they might onlyknow, well, Trump denied the twenty
twenty results. Hello, Hillary Clintonnever really conceded. I mean she conceded
it in a speech, but shealways has believed to this day that the
Russians were involved in rigging that electionin Stacy Abrams, same thing in Georgia.

(25:52):
Well, we'll look at this wrongfulconviction in New York. The whole
prosecution case was election denial. Thewhole prosecution case was Trump stole the sixteen
election by paying off a porn stockstrue. So it'll be interesting to see
if Trump went down that road. Here's a fascinating text. Thank you for
raising this point, Dan. Theyshould ask Trump during the debate why he
sat for nearly three hours and didnothing when his cult followers stormed the capital

(26:17):
on January sixth. First of all, I don't agree with all that wording,
but we know he is getting thisquestion, and thank you Texter,
because we've not been focused on thatyet. How do you want to hear
him respond to the January sixth question? And the January sixth question will be
tailored. It will be mister president, separate apart from the issue of whether

(26:37):
you incited violence, because clearly Trumpdid not, and I've been saying that
from day one, and that's whythere's no charge on that. You know,
Tapper and Bash, who are anextension of the Democrats, won't walk
into that trap. Instead, theywill say, mister president, separate apart
from that issue, why didn't youdo more sooner on January sixth to get

(26:59):
those who were bring in the lawto leave, and then they'll try to
get him to concede that some peoplebroke the law, which some people clearly
did. So when we come backhow do you want President Trump to respond
to those questions? What do youthink the honest response is, because listen,
if the response isn't honest, it'sa loser to begin with. And
how do you want him to deliverit? Eight five five for zero five

(27:21):
eight two five five text d AN five seven seven three nine And now
back to the Dan Kapla Show podcastand number one. When in the Office
of the Surgeon General declares an issueto be a public health issue, not
only does that put it squarely therealm of public health, but it also
elevates it on the priority scale. This is what we saw happened half a

(27:42):
century ago with tobacco. Yeah.See, this is the play and I
told you about this during COVID.This is Biden's surgeon general declaring gun violence,
gun violence, this public health crisis. That's one step short of what
we're going to get if Biden winsa second, I fell into the trap.

(28:03):
Find me what we're going to getif the Democrat wins the presidency in
twenty four is we're going to geta declaration of a public health emergency,
which the Left will then use totry to set aside constitutional rights, just
as by declaring COVID a public healthemergency, they were able to set aside

(28:25):
constitutional rights. Now it won't beas easy for them this time around,
but that's clearly where they're ated, and that's why we get this announcement today.
Public health crisis, so a stepshort of the legal significance of public
health emergency. But get ready ifthe Democrat wins in November, get ready
for that emergency declaration. Well, fool me once, shame on, You'll

(28:48):
fool me twice, shame on me. And George W. Bush would say,
we won't. We won't get fooledagain. But COVID should have taught
us this lesson. Dan, youtalk about constitutional rights. For vivek Merthy
there to compare gun violence to thesmoke the anti smoking campaign. So there's
a second amendment, Yeah, rightto bare arms, have a gun point

(29:08):
to the amendment where we have aright to smoke. Yeah. No,
But listen, do you think theleft cares about that? No, they
don't. They just care about gettingwhat they want. They look at the
way they're distorting and undermining criminal lawin America right now to get what they
want. And I think they're goingto get the opposite for a Gene in
Golden You're on the Dan Kapla show. Welcome Hi Dan. Going back to

(29:33):
the debates, my concern is thatCNN is going to get Biden the questions
ahead of time, just like DonnaBrazil did well. They wouldn't risk getting
caught. So it's not going tobe anything that direct. But doesn't everybody
see the questions coming anyway? Gene? I mean, one of my hopes
for Thursday night is that that Biden, is obviously in rapid decline, gets

(29:56):
so confused by all of the peopleinvolved in a prep throwing stuff at him.
You know that that that's going tobecome counterproductive. But at this point,
don't you think we can all predictthe questions for Thursday Night? And
so if they throw a few oddball questions in there and Biden handled it
well because ahead of time, Ijust the CNN, the people who are

(30:22):
handling the debate, I just don'ttrust them at all. Well you should,
you should not trust him. Iagree with that completely. I look
at what CNN will do out oftheir own self interest, and I think
out of their own self interest athey will not risk getting caught since they
were busted on that once before.B I think that Tepper and Bash will

(30:44):
appear more fair than expected. Andsee, CNN wants Biden out of this
race. They want him out ofthis race because they know he's going to
lose to Trump. So I thinkI think CNN has a motive to push
him out. But great call,Jane. Really do appreciate at that.
Thank you. Let's try to squeezein. Mark and beautiful Greeley, Colorado.
You're on the Dan Kaplos show.Greeley may be the fastest growing place

(31:07):
in the state right now, andI understand why. Welcome to the show.
Mark, Hey, how's it going. You're asking that quick? You're
asking the question about the debate. What Trent didn't do for three hours?
He answered that on the CNN thetown hall a few months ago. He
even pulled out a piece of papershowing that he tweeted and so, you

(31:34):
know, tell people to calm downand stuff. Well, I think the
key, then, Mark, ishow do you package it up for Thursday
night? Because if the responses aregoing to have to be shorter, and
the shorter and more concise, obviouslythe more impactful. So a little bit
different than the longer town Hall. But but I get your point about the
core of it is He's going tosay, wait a second, I sent

(31:55):
this tweet in that tweet, andthen Tepper and Bash are going to come
back and say, well, butyou also sent this and you didn't say
that. There's going to be alot of follow up with him on that.
Yeah. I guess well, I'lljust give you a head. Appreciate
that. Thank you, man, appreciate You're going to be watching you too,

(32:15):
Thank you. No, you won'tbe alone, man, I bet
you. What do you think theseratings are going to be. I think
they're going to be out of thisworld and that is good for Trump.
Greg and Brumfield. Welcome to theDan Kaplis Show. Hello Dan. On
this debate with Trump and Biden,if one question comes out to Trump concerning

(32:36):
his trial and what do you thinkof his verdict and all that, you
should just say no comment, letBiden do his responses, rebuttal and then
if it comes back to Trump againto rebuttal on his answer to say no
comedy, just leave it alone. Why that's one thing I would do.
I don't think I just don't thinkit should be brown up. I mean,

(32:58):
he's going to feel it right now. He's convicted but eventually going to
get over thrown. So it's Mikeand has no bearing on the election.
Shouldn't have well, Greg, No, I appreciate that. Thank you,
my friend. If you're thinking that, I'm sure some other people are.
I think we can all agree thatthat Trump is going to have something to

(33:19):
say on that, and you canbet that the point he'll be making is
that, wait a second, I'mwrongfully convicted. Joe Biden is guilty but
not convicted, you know, andhe'll find some smooth way to deliver that.
But he will find a way toflip this, as he should,
into the point that, wait second, You've got Joe Biden who is obviously

(33:43):
and clearly corrupt, but because hehas rigged this system, you know,
he sits there not convicted when heshould be. Guy in Cheyenne, you're
on the Dan Kaplis, she'll welcome. Oh, thank you, Dan.
I've already named named the next viral, so I'm calling it the Pelosi virus,
so that you have to take thevaccine to see what's in it.

(34:06):
Okay, thank you, Guy,appreciate that. A five to five for
zero five A two five five textd A and five seven seven three nine
text DAN. While unsafe truckers area problem, they represent a very small
fraction of unsafe drivers in Colorado.Wait a second, that's like saying that,
hey, mass killers represent a verysmall fraction of all the crime in
Colorado. So what they're mass killers? These trucks inflict a unique kind and

(34:32):
level of harm. And as thestate continues to be under assault from reckless
truckers. A lot of great onesout there, and we're grateful to them,
but more and more reckless truckers aswe're under assault, Not only do
you have more and more victims, but but you have more and more people
just kind of terrified on the roadall the time. We can't live like

(34:52):
this, and there are things thatcan be done, but the left won't
do it. The left won't doit. In fact, Polis does stuff
that in courages this kind of recklessness. You're on the Dan Kaplas Show.
