Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Caplis and welcome to today's online podcast edition
of The Dan Kaplis Show. Please be sure to give

and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. Beautiful day to
site of the American Way. And it's not going to
end at midnight. Holy cow, have you seen the weather forecast?

(00:22):
Just glorious for about the next week and a half,
So joy every minute of it. And that's across our
listening audience here in Colorado. If you're outside of Colorado,
God help you. Three or three seven three eight two
five five the number text d A N five seven
seven three nine. Lots of ground to cover. Quick note though,
on Hamas right, because the left they just can't wait

(00:43):
to somehow try to reverse this big success for Trump
with Mid East peace. So now you have that the
demons from Hamas now executing people in the streets of Gaza.
So the left to saying, see, I told you it's
a failure. No, no, really, you think you think these
are children? You think Donald Trump be meant in Yahoo?

(01:05):
The Arab leaders who did this piece too, you think
their children? You think they just believe Hamas would suddenly
go away. No, they got a deal that required Hamas
to disar. Nobody ever expected Hamas would then voluntarily disarre.
The terms of the deal now allow them to go
disarm Hamas. This is phase one and a half, right

(01:30):
before phase two. Now they've got a license to kill Hamas.
And so it will happen. And what form will it take?
That's going to be fascinating to watch. Is it going
to be the idef going back in it? Maybe, but
I think chances are greater that it will be undercover.

(01:51):
It'll be squads of people going in looking like rival
gangs taking out Hamas. But does anybody for a second
think that, after all this, after Trump and nen Yahoo
and the Arab leaders got together and decided to do
this monumental deal, that they're going to allow these roving
bands of devils to defeat it. No, they planned on this,

(02:14):
and this is now their permission slip to go in
and take them out. Permission slip from each other, permission
slip from the Arab bleeders, most critically, to go wipe
them out. That's what's about to happen. It'll never be
every last one of them. That's not how human life works.
But this is all part of the plan. It's very
unfortunate the devils get to kill any more people. But

(02:37):
as a practical matter, working your way to where this
is likely going to end up, which is with a
rebuilt gaza that is so much better for the people
there in the world. Yeah, this step was inevitable and
it's been It's been structured as well as it could
be any flowing that logic grind. Does anybody for a

(02:58):
second think that all he's here a bleaders, Trump and
Bebie are now going to be defeated by Hamas? Zeron
Mandani might think, then, what a gift to the GOP. Wow,
the new face of the Democratic Party. And I guess
he had strong words to say about Hamas today.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
He well, he was on with Martha McCollum Fox newsless
I found interesting And the slug the headline on the
bottom of the screen there for Laura Ingram said that
Mandanni had no opinion on Hamas.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
No opinion, which tells you what first effect he was
on Fox and second that he would say something so
insidious like that, What does that tell you? Race over?
He's done the math he's won.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Is this one just thinking this through Dan logically, and
it's New York. So we know that if Andrew Cuomo,
we assume would be better by default, even though he's
got his share of flaws as well. If it was
just a one on one race, would Cuomo have a
better shot for sure?

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Right? But now, this is the future of the Democratic
Party and that is an awful thing and a beautiful thing.
And here's why. Because it's not the future of America.
Americans won't go for this. So it's scary in the
meantime because you do have this block of socialist slash communists,
whatever the ist is. It's real bad for this country.
And this is where an awful lot of Democrats are

(04:23):
right now. But they are a very, very very big
block of Democrats who would vomit at the thought of
socialism or communism. And a lot of my Republican brethren
don't get that because they've never been a Democrat like
I have. I spent years as a Democrat. I know this,
I've lived it. There are so many Democrats who are

(04:45):
revolted at the thought of socialism or communism, and once
it becomes clear to them, that's where their party's going
they're not going there with them. They are not going
there with them. And then the question is can the
GOP do what it needs to do to flip those
people and get him to vote Republican.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
So even I agree that long term, big picture, i'm'm
Donnie mayoral tenure in New York City would do nothing
but help Republicans. That said it would destroy New York City,
I think economically from within. As much as I like
Curtis Sliewa, the Republican candidate in that race.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
That's silly. Should he be no dropping out? Yes, no,
that's that's silly, But I kind of agree with yeah, yeah, no,
that's and listen, I've had him in are I think,
but it would have been a long time. We've all
got egos, right, And I'm sure everybody listening you've had
the same experience that I've had, which is I look

(05:39):
back at my life and hopefully another eighty years to come,
and I look back at this and I say, yeah,
I'm so grateful for so many things to you know,
real glad all this and that went right. But when
I look back at any mistakes I made, there's usually
an ego component, right, So you see a guy like
this staying in the race and all he's doing is

(05:59):
hand into the kami. Yeah, that's an ego out of control.
But in New York City. There'll be a lot of
harm in New York City, but it's not going to
fall into the ocean or into the Hudson. I mean,
New York City's still going to exist after a lot
of damage is done by this this communist term as mayor,

(06:21):
but the country is going to benefit greatly. I mean,
Trump was a rejection of Obama. Trump was a reaction
to Obama totally. Yeah. Yeah, and so thank you Barack
Obama for that. Dan. Today is the sixteenth anniversary of
the Balloon Boy hoax. Wow, I've got to tell you,
I was. I was so excited by that story while

(06:44):
it was happening. I just thought it was such an
interesting story, and then it turned out to be a hoax,
and I was really ticked. Do you remember following that
live balloon Boy?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
No?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Oh, you don't know. I do not. Do you even
know this story?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
No?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
When was this? Oh, my goodness, when was this? That's
the first thing in your life you've been uninformed? Well,
it was sixteen years ago. Wasn't here sixteen years ago? Well,
you were on the planet on the more. This was
a worldwide story. I think it was out a longmond.
A little boy allegedly was up in this balloon okay,
that was then floating across down the front range. And

(07:24):
if I remember right, I think fighters were deployed and
scrambled because the story released, if I remember correctly, by
family members, was that there was a little boy taken
away by this balloon. Hot air balloon. Yeah right, just
some kind of weather balloon kind of thing. If I
remember the story right, it's been a long time, remember this. Yeah,
So the whole nation stopped and was captivated. It was

(07:46):
being watched on every TV everywhere across the globe, deep
in the Amazon. People who had never met other humans
were watching it. Where were you?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
So this wasn't Boy in the Bubble type stuff LIKELT
movie or Seinfeld?

Speaker 1 (08:01):
What was yes, bubble boy?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
What was the end result of this was all the
folks that the boy was up in the attic? Hell,
come on, yeah, now, don't blame the boy, don't blame
balloon boy. Were their charges filed against his family? I
can't remember, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah. But while it was happening. I was transfixed, that
the whole country was transfixed. And I think part of that,
I mean, we all just knew somehow the boy was
going to be safe, right, because you had all these
government resources being scrambled and planes and everything else. But
the best thing about all that was I and you know,

(08:37):
my firm belief is that God created us to want
to be united, to want to be together. It's one
reason that that sports are so popular, right, and going
to games is so popular because you know, unless you're
at a Rockies game where half the team's fans are
for the Cubs and the other for the Rockies or
whoever the visitors is, you know, most most games we

(08:58):
go to, whether we're going to see Nuggets at Paul
all Lebroncos or whatever, most of us are on the
same side. And I think we're created to desire that
kind of unity. So you had this balloon boy thing
going on, and the whole country's rooting for balloon boys.
Save balloon boy. Say balloon boy total and he's up

(09:18):
in the attic. He's in the attic. Crazy. Yeah, I'll
look up during the break whether there were ever charges.
But yeah, Dan, the handshake between President Trump and McCrone
was twenty six seconds long. Yeah, I watched it during
the break. It was fascinating because we've been talking about

(09:39):
power moves and how men should sit and not sit
and things like that. Dan Sean Connery as James Bond,
used to sit with his legs cross tightly. No one
is more manly than that, except at that moment. But
thank you, Texter, because when I was doing my research
on this exhaustively during the last break, it turns out
in Europe that's how men sit. That's common, which would

(10:01):
explain a lot. It had certainly explained the falling birth
rates in Europe and James Bond never had kids, right, Uh, well, no,
I'll tak the franchise. So that's one of That's the
price you pay for sitting like that. Dan bad Bunny
sits with his legs crossed. You know what kind of
man sits that way? And then it goes on to

(10:23):
inappropriate stuff. I'm traumatized by that. Three or three seven
one three eight two five five takes d A N
five seven seven three nine. Hey, when we come back,
quick hit on this one. Colorado Springs Airport not allowing
the Christy nome tsa video. Has the Springs gone woke?
Or what's up with that? You're on the Dan Kapla Show.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
And now back to the Dan Tapless Show podcast.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Talk about it. A man should said, how did this
topic start? Oh, Barack Obama? Somebody texted in about Obama.
He did this interview and here I'll play some of
the sound for you, because he clearly he understands right
now that obama Ism is dead and that he's shrinking
before our eyes. I mean, ideologically, he knows that. And

(11:16):
so he was sitting like that with his legs tightly crossed,
one leg over the other and arms crossed. And that
led to the conversation about wait a second. When I
grew up, I was always taught and understood very appropriately
and physiologically that a man should not sit with his
legs tightly crossed like a woman, one over the other.

(11:37):
And it's perfectly appropriate for a woman, right, God made
us differently anatomically, and a man should sit with you know,
either the legs, you know, one ankle up on top
of the other knee, or the legs spread apart and
hands on the knee. But you don't sit just with
your legs tightly crossed. So that's how we got off
on that topic. But here is a bite from that

(11:59):
interview where just you can hear it in his voice,
he's just so bitter. We're being tested right now.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
If you are a Hispanic man and you you're frustrated
about inflation, and so you decided, ah, you know what,
all that rhetoric about Trump doesn't matter. I'm just mad
about inflation. And now you know your sons are being
stopped in La because they look Latino. Well, that's that's
your that's a test.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
M what's going on with Barack Obama? There by the way,
do you do this after a happy hour? Yeah? I
mean that he's a big drinker. Oh no, And I
wasn't implying that at all. If you yeah, if you
go back and read his his book Dreams of My Father,
you know he talks about some other adventures, but the bigger,

(12:49):
the more important point here is and he still doesn't
get it. And I don't want to digress into the
serious stuff, but he doesn't get it. I mean, with
the Latino vote moving sharply away from the Democrats, you
think it's over inflation? Have Broack Obama and it just
goes to his elitism. He doesn't understand. See the first
thing is he and the rest of these lefties and

(13:11):
it's like kicking Looper and Polis and all of them,
and Bennett. And that's why once they get outside the
Colorado bubble, they just get flattened. They don't understand people
of faith. Right, and you've got the thriving, thriving faith
within the Latino communities. It certainly happened to be Catholic community, thriving,

(13:31):
robust faith. And so many people of faith, whether they
happen to be Latino, black, white, whatever, are moving away
from the Democratic Party because it's run by godless secularists
who have an open antipathy toward faith. Yeah, oh, so
what a shock Latino is moving away from the Democratic crew.

(13:51):
Oh that somebody would actually value eternity more than whether
lefties like them? Yeah, yeah, do the maths. Barack Obama,
But he doesn't get it because these guys are all
such elitists. They think so many of them just like, oh,
people believe in God, they're dummies, Yeah, the dummies other
people who don't. But they just don't get that. Three

(14:12):
all three, seven, one, three eight, two five five the
number and those critical moral issues separate for a second.
There are so many other reasons, right Latinos there anybody,
regardless of skin color, is going to see this Democratic
Party isn't your dad's, or it isn't even the Democratic
party you had ten years ago. Dan, I never believed

(14:33):
the balloon boy's story. That balloon was too small to
carry the kid. Plus the family was trying to get
a reality show before the hoax took place. Now, how
could we have known that when the balloon's in the
air and you've got national media reporting there's a boy
in that balloon. I think most of us thought it's
being reported nationally, everybody's watching, it must be true. And

(14:55):
it was more fun to think it was true because
we all knew balloon boy was going to be safe.
One way or the other. He was going to land safely.
There was some tension, but you just knew somehow he
was going to be safe. And we're right, because there's
in the attic the whole time. Dan, In two thousand
and nine, the balloon boy dad was trying to get
a TV show for his family. His dad had him hide.
The fear was the balloon, which looked like a spaceship

(15:17):
would burst thousands of feet in the air. Both parents
were charged with crimes. The family moved out of Colorado.
Police pardoned balloon parents. Is that true? I missed that
Polish pardon Richard and Miumi somebody in twenty twenty. I
missed all of this. I'm gonna look that up during
the break. Why would you pardon balloon parents? Yeah? What

(15:40):
purpose does that serve?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
You want something to serve as a deterren from perpetrating
such a hoax? Right, Yeah, so they had to pay
some kind of price. Yeah, I am fascinating. You're wasting
the resources.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
You were talking about goodness the time. Well, and I
mean you think about it, right, any of those pilots
who were to help, they they could have edited a disaster,
stir any of police going to the scene. They could
have had a disaster, all sorts of stuff, true, Dan.
And by the way, my text are so screwed up
because I dictate to my phone when I'm driving. And
by the way, have you decided to throw your hat

(16:11):
in the rain to be our next governor of Colorado?
Because you know you win things? You can use my name, Glenn.
I don't think it's rained recently. How do I throw
my hat in the rain if it won't rain. Thank
you for that, my friend. You are very very kind. Dan.
If I were to sit and cross my legs with
my ankle on top of my knee, I would snap.
It kills me to sit like that. So I crossed

(16:32):
my legs where my right knee is over the top
of my lesson, and quite frankly, I don't give a
blank what people think about me, if I'm a man
or not. My wife knows I'm a man. A Thank you, Texter,
appreciate that. Didn't mean to upset anybody. Yeah, Dan Obama
super skilled, propped up by MSN, Hollywood elites, etc. Oh
sure he was. But you're going to deny that Barack

(16:54):
Obama in his prime or Bill Clinton in his prime
or super skilled. Give me a break, both five tool
players when it came to skills. Now, Ideologically, you know
Obama was an incredibly bitter, destructive radical, and Bill Clinton
he just cared more about getting well, you know what

(17:15):
he cared more about and what a waste in both
cases because both had tremendous skills, and more of a
waste in Clinton's case because with Obama. Hey, he was
just a died in the world radical, right, That's just
who he was. That's what he believes, that's what he
was going to do. Bill Clinton, I don't think he
had a guiding ideology. He just had these tremendous skills.

(17:36):
And he's another guy. What if Bill Clinton had actually
had had the correct ideology? What if he had been
a conservative? He would have been a spectacularly successful conservative.
I mean, assuming that he could maintain the other stuff. Yeah,
Oh wow, Jay from Wheatridge saying, our good friend Tom

(17:58):
Martino chased after balloon Boy in the helicopter. Could that
be true? Tom is like the most interesting man in
the world. Yeah, and where did those commercials go? By
the way, But we will we'll take that call when
we come back here on the Dankplish Show.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast. Balloons translated
ninety nine left. Balloons is the German original, the English
versions better.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
But we're talking about a texter said today's sixteenth anniversary
of balloon Boy, and that's set off all sorts of conversation.
And then somebody else said, Paulus pardoned the balloon Boy
parents who pulled this hoax, and sure enough they're right.
I'm looking at the story right here. The so called
balloon Boy incident captivated television audiences in two thousand and nine.

(18:53):
Is the parents of a six year old appropriately named Falcon,
reported he had been carried away in a large, uf
fall like balloon thousands of feet in the air. News
media helicopters tracked the balloon. The National Guards sent another
to helicopters in a rescue attempt. Denver International Airport was
temporarily closed as thousands, it was actually millions awaited news

(19:15):
of the boy's fate. Falcons parents, Richard and Mayumi Heeney,
told authorities he was accidentally carried thousands of feet into
the sky in a homemade weather balloon experiment gone wrong,
but after the balloon landed, authorities did not find the
boy inside. Instead, he had been hiding in a box
in the attic the entire time. The parents pled guilty

(19:38):
to crimes. And then it goes on to say Governor
Jared Polis pardoned the parents. Quote in the case of
Richard and Mayomihiny the balloon boy parents, we are all
ready to move past the spectacle from a decade ago
that wasted the precious time and resources of law enforcement
officials and the general public. Police said, parents pay the prize.

(20:00):
In the eyes of the public, serve their sentences. It's
time to move on. And then David Lane, who's been
on air often with me. David and I opposite politically,
but he's a wonderful guy and a great attorney. David
Lane was quoted as saying, quote, the balloonacy has ended.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Clancy like that difficult David, So, why do you think
Polis really pardoned him? I don't know the game favor
or something. In the public eye, it's about him. It's
about Jared Polis.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
So I wonder if whatever he got from Kim Kardashian
was worth it to spit in the face of those
victims who had the family members, you know, burned on
I seventy by that homicidal trucker. I'm not suggesting Polis
got a payoff or anything like that, but I wonder

(20:54):
whatever it was he got despicable and it may just
have been. Oh I get to talk to Kim kardash
Oh yeah, I'm sure he was starstruck. Talk about a
low point in any governorship in American history. On a
brighter note. Let's go to Jay and wheat Ridge. You're
on the dan Kapla show. How you doing Jay? No good?
Damn hell, I'm living the dream.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Thank you you are dang fellows. Anyway, there's room a
couple of things, and I really hope that the idea
of a couple of things comes up because I don't
want to get cut off right away. Here's my first one.
Mister Tommy Martino jumped in his helicopter, fired up, burned
his gas, his time, his money, his everything, and tried

(21:38):
to rescue that boy.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
See that is noble, Tommy.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
We should trigger dis triggered.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Triggered the dump button, yeah, which might have his goal.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Yes, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
No, yeah, you sound like still there?

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Am I still there?

Speaker 1 (21:59):
If you believe you're there?

Speaker 5 (22:02):
Okay, Well I didn't mean to say that word, but
I'm not kidding. Tom spent that much time and energy
trying to save that kid, and that's amazing. Yeah, thank
god Polis is gone. But I have another serious question
for you. It kind of involves the Middle East, and
in fact that he hugely involves the Middle East. Have

(22:25):
you miss Kaplus ever read the Koran? No? You know
where I got all my information from the Koran. Someone
I don't have a lot of respect for it, but
I don't have the tremendous disrespect for it was Craig Zipperman.
And from what he used to read on air, I

(22:46):
learned something that if if in context he was accurate,
and somebody has read the Koran and they still call
themselves a Muslim, then I cannot respect them. I cannot
even like them, and I cannot considered them so much.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
You're bringing back flashbacks because now that and I have
a lot of respect for Craig and all of our
years together. But you're right, I'm remembering now and I
can't What led to Craig reading the Koran on air.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
I don't remember exactly. He was nine to eleven and
he started reading from the Kram and I learned about
the Koran from Craig. And when I said, if you
can read that and call yourself a Muslim, you're disgusting.
You're not my friend, and I do not respect That's
why I learned what I learned. So I wondered if

(23:41):
you had read it or not.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
No, no, but but appreciate the call. That's fascinating. Jay
learned what he learned about the Qoran from Craig Silverman
on air. You don't remember that.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
It seems like it'd be pretty memoried now.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
That Jay's mentioned. And I gotta tell you, I had
nothing to do with me, but that had to be
some of the best radio ever in Denver. That the
run of that show, that show at its peak, I
thought you meant that episode where he ran from the car.
I'm sure that was an instant classic. A lot of
instant classics on that show, including the last day where

(24:17):
we let people know we got canned. Yikes, that was
actually a pretty good show. Yeah, it was you do
like a farewell episode, which was very kind of management, Chris. Listen.
None of us have a right to a single minute
on air, right, every one of those seven or eight
years we were privileged to be on air. But yeah,

(24:37):
they let us do a last show, which I think
we were both very grateful for. Yeah, and it, boy,
it came as a total shock toss in listeners. But see,
that's why are you like the Colorado Broadcast Association Show
of the Year this year? I thought you won some
big award. Never win that award. So the curse we

(24:59):
were the CBA, the show of the year that year
and which sealed our doom. Yeah yeah, but it was
a great run. How many shows last seven or eight years?
There you go? Yeah, three all three, seven, one, three,
eight two five five the number techs d an five
seven seven three nine Dan. I watched Balloon Boy's Magic

(25:19):
Rides so or over Boulder when I was working there,
before it even hit the news. Wow. Wow, you're trying
to reach Tom Martine just texted him. Okay, And for
those interested in more than the sixteenth anniversary of Balloon Boy,
you've come to the wrong place today. But actually we're
gonna shift right now unless Tom gets back to us.

(25:40):
A couple of things I wanted to hit on with you.
I find this fascinating because it was absolute brilliance on
the part of the administration. And I want to explain
why it's this business of so many airports, including the
Springs and DIA, but they don't even have video at
TSA checkpoints for refusing to air the video from Homeland
Security Secretary Christie Nome, and here's why.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
I am Christy Nome, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security.
It is TSA's top priority to make sure that you
have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience as possible
while we keep you safe. However, Democrats in Congress refuse
to fund the federal government, and because of this, many
of our operations are impacted and most of our TSA
employees are working without pay. We will continue to do

(26:28):
all that we can to avoid delays that will impact
your travel, and our hope is that Democrats will soon
recognize the importance of opening the government.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Yeah, Okay, everything she's saying true, right, but a lot
of airports won't run that, including Colorado Springs, and I
agree with Colorado Springs they should not run that because
of the political nature of the message, even though everything
she says is true. But here's the point. The administration
out maneuvered all of these people because it knew most

(27:00):
airports wouldn't run that. But it also knew it was
going to generate a ton of media coverage, which was
going to get the message across, probably to as many
or more people as those who happened to be in
the airport. So once again, I mean that the Trump
administration has been so intelligent in so many different ways,
going back to the campaign itself. But then again, the

(27:24):
benefits of the president having these four years in between
to plan a second term in office, and they've just
they've done so many smart things. It's never going to
be perfect. No presidency, no human endeavor is right, but
they have outsmarted the Left at many different turns. But no,
that should not be, in my opinion, aired in airports

(27:45):
because it's political in nature. If you take out the
shot at the Dems, even though it's a true shot
the right, then yeah you air it. But they knew that.
Three out three seven one three eight two five five
text d an five seven seven three nine some other
ground to cover. I think we'll probably put off till

(28:05):
tomorrow discussion of some really interesting stuff at the Supreme
Court today, just because it takes more set up. Hey,
quick note, we have a lot of people call the
show and I appreciate it, asking about the two hundred
and five million dollar jury verdict that we won up
in Garfield County in a case arising out of the horrific, heartbreaking,
brutal death of this wonderful six year old girl who

(28:29):
fell ten stories from a ride up there. And so
grateful to everybody who calls. And we've had a lot
of discussion of it on Eric that. The point today though,
is there is a piece today in the Aspen Daily
News done by a reporter named Rick Carroll on a
very important recent development of the judge entering in order

(28:49):
finding this to be a felonious killing. But my point
is the piece was so thorough and so balanced and
so well done. It was old fashioned journalist, some really
impressive stuff. So for those who have had an interest
in this case, this very important case for many reasons
public safety, you know, at the top of the list,

(29:13):
just check out the Espen Daily News piece today done
by Rick Carroll. It's just it's the kind of journalism
we used to have a lot of and very much appreciated.

the Dan Capliss Show.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
And now back to the Dan Kapliss Show podcast, Paul.

Speaker 6 (29:38):
When what were we looking at, Well, we were looking
at the Democrats with a very clear shot of taking
control of the US House of Representatives. According to the
Council Prediction Market odds, we saw.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Him in an eighty three percent chance.

Speaker 6 (29:49):
But those odds have gone plummeting down now. We're talking
about just a sixty three percent chance. Will the GOP
chances up like a rocket up like gold up from
seventeen percent, so now a thirty seven percent chance, so
will look like a pretty clear demo likely Democratic winning
the House come next year has become much closer to
toss up at this point, although still slightly leading Democratic.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Not a surprise, right, I mean the question is who
would be supporting Democrats at this point? And as a
former Democrat, I can tell you mainly people who just
have the wrong idea about Republicans, you know, vote against
the stereotype because what is there on the left to support? Yeah, so,
plus the success now of President Trump, and as we

(30:34):
get closer to the midterms, I just can't bring myself
to start talking about the midterms now. And I cannot
imagine you want me to start talking about the midterms now.
But if you do, let me know, Dan, So it's
okay for Christynome to waste taxpayer money producing an illegal movie.
What happened to the Republicans preventing waste? Who said that's
an illegal movie and it's all true? Yeah? Right, Well

(30:55):
it's this person one hundred and twelve. I mean, is insult.
It's one of those movies. No, Holy coyl they do that,
and you know it's everything she said is true. My
only point if you just joined us, is, of course
you can't show that in airports because it's overtly political
because she takes shots at the Democrats. A. It's all true,

(31:16):
and B. They didn't produce this tape because they expected
it to get played at airports. They produced this tape knowing,
like Wiley Coyote, that the left would take the bait,
they would run the story, and the people of the
country would hear the story and hear the video. So

(31:36):
many more people get to see and hear this video
now through CNN and MSNBC and the leftist media ripping
the video in news stories. Yeah. No, I'm not critical
of any airport that decided not to run it. But
that wasn't the administration's play to begin with. And once
again the administration out maneuvered the left. So know nothing

(31:58):
illegal about that video. Wow, man, I wish we had
two three more hours. Can you call out the West
wing on that? My friend? Let's see what I can do.
Did you see that Time magazine cover ye on trumphot
But again, it's the same point, right, it's Madonna and
the Mules, because who talks about Time magazine? So they

(32:19):
decide to put this very unfair, terrible picture of President
Trump on the cover, so we'd be talking about Time magazine.
But yeah, but Trump is a good looking man, and
they had that, what did they have to do? They
had to go to a direct bottom up shot to

(32:40):
try to make them look back. Who would look good
from that angle shot from right beneath his chin? Right,
I mean, any any man is going to look like
he's a turkey if you shoot from that angle right,
and they knew that, then they make it look like
he has no hair. Yeah, that was the creamliar part.

(33:02):
That was not fair at all. But again it's just
so you will talk about or we will talk about them.
This Jack Smith thing hilarious. Michael Brown does a great
show in the mornings on six thirty. Kitch I mean Denver,
he had the right take on this. Today. The people
on my Special Council team were like that the idea
that politics played a role and who worked on that
case or who got chosen is ludicrous and clearly, as

(33:29):
Michael said this morning, this is Jack Smith trying to
influence the jury. He expects to get indicted, and he's
out there he's trying to influence the jury, court a
public opinion, but also the eventual jury in that case.
And it's just what we said. It's just what we
said during the campaign. You're going to have an awful

(33:50):
lot of people who do not like Donald J. Trump
who are going to vote for him in twenty twenty
four because they don't want us to become a banana Republic.
And anybody paying attention could see that's exactly what Jack
Smith was doing. And then he goes on in that
tape to say nothing political, just a great team, just
cared about America. Yeah, then why did you insist on

(34:11):
bringing those charges very late in the game, right before
the election. Why didn't you bring them years earlier or
wait till after the election? Oh, coincidence. The timing's quits.
But here's the beauty. They think we're stupid, and it
just gets them beat over and over again because a

(34:31):
we're smarter than them, which is not hard, but they
have just deluded themselves. It goes back to denials. Not
just a river in Egypt, So keep denying, We'll keep winning.
Thank you. Ryan join us tomorrow on The Dan Kapli Show.
