This is Dan Caplis and welcome totoday's online podcast edition of The Dan Caplis
Show. Please be sure to giveus a five star rating if you'd be
so kind, and to subscribe, download and listen to the show every single
day on your favorite podcast platform.Appreciate the chance to start the show with
Congresswoman Lauren Obert, who is alwaysin the news right, I mean,
(00:20):
the left is absolutely obsessed with her, and a great opportunity to talk about
some of the super hot topics ofthe last few days with the congresswoman.
Hey, welcome back to the DanCaplis Show. Dan, it is wonderful
to be with you. I amtraveling. I'm in northeast Colorado now and
I'm headed to kit Carson County,so I am on the campaign trail.
(00:44):
Sorry if there's traffic noise in theback, but you know, I can't
risk not being on the road andgetting in front of oters. Am ender,
that has to be one of themost beautiful days ever out there today.
It's just so pretty right out onthe planes on a day like today.
Absolutely gorgeous during a blizzard, eh, not so much. But let
me start with this one because theshow got super hot on this yesterday and
it's you know, the President madea statement suggesting that he might have to
(01:08):
do to the Democrats what they've doneto him if elected president. Now,
I think he was fantastic about notmisusing DOJ against the left when he was
in office. I think it wasvery gracious not having Hillary Clinton prosecuted.
But where do you come down onthat. Do you want to see him
when he gets this second term dueto them what they've done to him?
(01:32):
Well, Dan, see, it'snot just about vengeance, it's about justice.
And I absolutely want President Trump tohold the people accountable who have misused
their powers, abused their powers andthe Apartment of Justice, and of course
we've seen mcbrupt judges, We've I'vebeen on your show talking about some of
(01:55):
them, like Judge Marshawan, youknow. And so I absolutely want Congress
and President Trump to do our duediligence and actually hold someone accountable. Now,
I would disagree with you that heshould have held Hillary Clinton accountable,
and you know, he was verygracious for whatever reason that may be.
(02:16):
But it's also given a path tothese radical leftists who don't seek to misuse
their physicians and weaponize the federal government. I was a part of creating this
department, this weaponized federal government subcommittee, so we can look into the abuse
(02:37):
that is taking on that they havetaken on and actually do something about it.
I don't think that we've done enoughof what we should do, and
I hope that the American people giveus a health majority of Senate majority and
President Trump so we can actually dothe things our strongly worded letters say that
(02:57):
we want to. You. Yeah, Congressoman, I guess you make an
interesting point about Hillary Clinton, becauseyou know, President Trump, I believe
was acting graciously and believing that itwas important to unity in America to not
have Hillary Clinton pursued legally. Butthe obvious difference, in my opinion is
I believe that Trump is completely innocentof the felonies he was charged with in
(03:22):
New York, whereas I think HillaryClinton was obviously guilty of multiple crimes that
she was given a pass on.So looking back on it, I think
he was very well intended and verygracious, But I think a powerful argument
could be made that it was importantto prosecute her for crimes she actually committed,
and crimes that could be proven beyonda reasonable doubt because I was on
(03:45):
air the day James Comy came outand he gave that preposterous press conference where
he just, you know, BananaRepublic style, just sort of assumed power
and just came out and said,no, she couldn't be prosecuted for these
even though he's FBI director and Isat on air at that time. Congressoman,
this is going to distort American politicsfor decades to come, because once
(04:06):
you give somebody a pass on obviouscrimes, where do you go from there?
You're not going to prosecute people onthe other side you do it.
So, yeah, I think youmake a compelling case that she should have
been prosecuted by the Trump administrative. But you know that's what Spiden is doing,
right The Biden administration is prosecuting Trumppolitically. I think she should have
(04:27):
been independently prosecuted by Trump's DOJ tothe extent they felt they could prove it
beyond a reasonable doubt. Yes,and we are not asking to, you
know, just come up with Trump'suff charges if you will. We are
not trying to go after someone foryou know, hyperbole or something that is
(04:47):
not real. There are very realcrimes that have been committed. The Oversight
Committee has been investigating Joe Biden's abuseof power by selling access to the federal
government as a vice president, evenwithholding aid to Ukraine when he was vice
president and having that whole quid proflow go down with the prosecutor in Ukraine.
(05:11):
I mean, that's on video andnothing has been done about that.
Uh. There are there are manythings here that the dj has been weaponized
to do. They have gone aftermoms and dad's grandparents and even you know,
I mean we have we have afather who has been attacked by the
DJUH for expressing concerns about a manassaulting his daughter in uh in a high
(05:39):
school bathroom. And so there's there'sso much that we need to do.
And I do believe that President Trumpwill do it, and he will do
it according to the law, andit will be fair, uh, not
like what we're seeing now against him. Who do you think the Democrats presidential
nominee will be. I'm firmly convincedcome election day, it will be not
(06:00):
be Donald Trump versus Joe Biden. It'll be Donald Trump versus somebody else.
But what do you think about that? And if I'm right. Who do
you think the dem nominee will be. It's hard to say who they're going
to pull from. But we justsaw the embarrassment of the Presidents of the
United States today not even really connectingwhere he was or what was going on
(06:23):
at the eightieth anniversary D Day celebration, having to be escorted out before it
was over. It was very sadto watch a commander in chief in a
state like that. And so,I mean, of course, my go
to for the Democrats is Gavin Newsom. I don't believe it would be Kamala
Harris. They know that she pullsmuch lower than Joe Biden even and so
(06:48):
it really could be anyone from theirlist of radicals. But also that person
is just a face for their agenda. We know that Joe Biden is not
running his administration. Of course, the blame goes to him because he does
hold that office. However, he'snot the one making the calls each and
(07:09):
every day. That is his administration, his staff and the Democrat Party working
behind the scenes. Congressman Lauren Bobertour guest recently. Obviously, you're in
a televised debate with I think avery very talented field. I think there
are so many super impressive people inyour race. And it was moderated by
(07:31):
Kyle Clark. What was your takeawayfrom that debate? Well, this debate
was absolutely seven on one, butI expected that. Of course, everyone
is going to go after the frontrunner and attacks who they fear. Most
of my opponents have taken a unitypledge or I've heard all of them say
(07:54):
in certain settings in person that theyrefuse to attack other Republicans in this race,
and they wouldn't go that direction. But they've all abandoned that position and
have teamed up to go after meagain expected but also Dan. But I'm
happy to debate policy with them, especially because we do differ vastly on many
(08:20):
policy issues and I would love toget into that some with you. But
I'm not going to attack them personallybecause we need these people in their areas
to bring the Republican Party together. We need the Republican Party unified after this
primary. So I'm not attacking anyonepersonally. You know, I can throw
(08:41):
a punch, you know, especiallywhen I'm attacked first, but that's not
my goal here. My goal isto have a strong Republican Party in Colorado,
so we could begin to take ourstate back. But when it comes
to policy, I will debate thatall day long. You know. I
think that is so smart with thatevery day on this show because I see
some things happening out there right now, with say the Colorado GOP that I
(09:05):
don't like at all, and Icomment on it occasionally, but the left
in Colorado and nationally is doing suchterrible things to this state and to this
nation. I think it's just soimportant to stay focused on the true threat,
this enormous threat that's doing so muchdamage, and that's the left.
Congressoman, appreciate your time today andwish you the best. Thanks so much,
(09:28):
Dan, And you know I hopeto come back and join you soon
and maybe we can get into someof those policy differences. Until then,
Laurenfrocolorado dot com ballots have gone outand I'm that top line on the ballot,
and hey, anytime you want andyou want to come in, sit
down in the studio, do whatand policy deep dive. We're always open
to that. So thank you, mich I would love that. Yes,
thanks Dan, you take care ofthat. As Congressoman Lauren Bobert eight five
(09:52):
firs zero five A two five fivethe number and again spoiler alert, and
I'm sorry to do this and takethe suspense out of your life. But
as we were talking about yesterday,Joe Biden's days as the demnominee are very
numbered, and some things happened todayin Normandy that that's certainly proved my point.
Now when we come back, andthis is going to be very important,
(10:13):
because you may get misled by somethingthat's out there today. One thing
that did not happen today that's beingwidely reported, very important to get cleared
up. Joe Biden for lots ofreasons. Clearly not competent, clearly not
capable, but he is being unfairlyaccused of one thing today and I want
to make sure you know the truthon that. You're on the Dankpla Show
(10:37):
and now back to the Dan KaplisShow podcast. Soldiers, sailors and airman
of the Allied Expeditionary Force, youare about to embark upon the great crusade
toward which we have striven these manymonths. The eyes of the world are
upon you. The hopes and prayersof liberty loving people everywhere march with you
(11:00):
with our brave allies and brothers inarms on other fronts. You will bring
about the destruction of the German warmachine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over
the oppressed peoples of Europe, andsecurity for ourselves in a free world.
Your task will not be an easyone. Your enemy is well trained,
well equipped, and battle hardened. He will fight savagely. But this is
(11:24):
the year nineteen forty four. Muchhas happened since the Nazi triumphs of nineteen
forty forty one. The United Nationshave inflicted upon the Germans great defeats in
open battle. Man demand. Ourair offensive has seriously reduced their strength in
the air and their capacity to wagewar on the ground. Our home front
(11:46):
have given us an overwhelming superiority inweapons and munitions of war, and placed
at our disposal great reserves of trainedfighting men. The tide has turned.
The freemen of the world are munchingtogether. Do victory. I have both
competence in your courage, devotion, the duty and scale in battle. We
(12:07):
will accept nothing less than full victory. Good luck, and let us all
be peaks of blessing of Almighty Godupon this great and noble undertaking. Man,
imagine getting ready to board one ofthose landing craft or you know,
(12:28):
just climb into the plane because you'regoing to drop down behind enemy lines.
Imagine that and hearing those words oror reading that as you go into battle.
Man. And crazy thing is,it wasn't that long ago. But
where have all those heroes gone? You know? Do we have those people?
(12:50):
We know we do in the military. We have the great men and
women at the military. But whenyou get up to those high ranks now,
right, because it's also politicized bythe left, do we have those
leaders? What do you think wouldhappen if if we pose that same face,
that same kind of threat today, and we do in certain ways,
right, do you think Joe Biden? Do you think Joe Biden would fight?
(13:13):
Or do you think Joe Biden wouldimplicitly surrender? Yeah? But whatever
I mean, Obviously, everybody listeningis so extraordinarily grateful to all the men
who did that and that we hadthose great leaders. I'm a firm believer
personally that the founders had it right, you know, that last line of
(13:35):
the Declaration of Independence, because theyknew that if you looked at the odds,
if there was Vegas. Back atthat time, the founders were likely
to lose, so they were goingto go. Most of them hat pretty
comfortable lives. They'd kind of carvedit out over here, and they were
likely to end up swinging from atree until dead. That that's heavy odds
on that. But last line ofthe declaration, they weren't trying to hide
(13:56):
it. You know, with relianceon divine providence, we pledge to you
our lives, our fortunes, oursacred honor. So they believed God would
intervene and they would overcome what appearedto be impossible to overcome. So I
just think we've been blessed at everyreally key swing point in our history with
(14:20):
those great men and women. Nowwe're at a pretty important point right now.
We've got a dufist in the WhiteHouse. We've got a guy who's
actively assisting Hamas with the things he'ssaying and doing, a guy who is
embarrassing us on the world stage. But more importantly, we can handle some
embarrassment more importantly in dangering us becausethe enemy obviously smells and sees this weakness
(14:41):
and has taken advantage of it.I e. Afghanistan, Ukraine, the
horrific tax in Israel. But Istill believe. I still believe that we
are going to have that great leaderagain. Now, one thing, though,
I do think you want to know, because you don't want to fall
into this trap. If you haven'tseen it already, you might see it
(15:01):
tonight when you get home. There'sthere's a video going around out there.
I think i'll double check. Ithink the RNC put out a version of
this, and I'm going to doublecheck on that because if they did,
they need to be called out onit, and because it's just so wrong.
Listen, Clearly, Joe Biden isincompetent, he's not capable to be
(15:22):
present, and he embarrassed and endangeredthe US again today with his appearance in
Normandy. But he is not guiltyof this accusation that he he defecated himself
on that stage. And there's avideo out there. You've seen it,
Ryan, I'm sure you see everything. But there's a video out there that's
(15:43):
been unfairly edited to make it appearas if he was relieving himself in his
pants on that stage. And Ihad to go research and find the actual
unedited video because when I saw it, sure, look that way to me
and many many folks, including likeBen Shapiro. Here's Ben Shapiro's tweet.
(16:07):
If Trump doesn't hit Biden with thepoop and Joe nickname within twenty four hours,
I'm not even sure what world we'reliving in anymore. And so Ben
Shapiro's sharp guy. He wouldn't intentionallymislead you. He fell for this video,
this edited video that's out there, but if you've seen it or when
you see it, it does looklike he's doing that because somebody withheld the
(16:33):
rest of the video. There reallyis a chair behind him, and he
was starting to sit before everybody elsewas, which is just part of his
diminishing metal capacity. But he wasnot defecating on himself the way it was
made to appear in the video. So don't fall for that. And I'm
(16:55):
going to go see if it wasthe RNC that put that out, because
it was it was the RNC,and that's just that's just wrong. That's
just wrong. Listen. There's somuch valid evidence that he's not competent to
be president, and even if therewasn't, you just don't lie. And
that edited video is a lie.Now eight five five for zero five A

to get into as something from JaredPolis that is so revealing about his profound
hypocrisy and dishonesty when it comes topublic policy and people of color. But
it also is encouraging because it showsthe opportunity that's here for the GOP to
(17:38):
make big in roads, big inroads in Colorado. Ryan, before we
get into that, which I'll nowhave to wait till the next segment.
Did you see that video I'm talkingabout? Yeah, I saw the video
both. The one that concerned memore though, is when he's being exported
away with doctor Jill and McCrone. You can see him being confused. He
runs after Biden, then he comesback and he's back with the veterans.
(18:00):
That was weird and that's fair. And there's another video of him getting out
at a different location where he's obviouslyconfused. So, as I said in
the preface, there's all sorts ofevidence, including today in Normandy, that
he is not fit for office. But the video I'm talking about that was
falsely edited to make it look likehe was defecating on stage. That ain't

Americans, last night, when Ispoke with you about the fall of Rome,
I knew at that moment the croupsof the United States and our allies
(18:47):
were crossing the channel in another andgreater operation. It has come to pass
with success thus far, and soin this poignant hour I ask you to
join with me in prayer. AlmightyGod, our sons, pride of our
(19:12):
nation, this day have set uponthe mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve
our public, our religion, andour civilization, and to set free a
suffering humanity. Plead them straight andtrue, Give strength to their arms,
(19:37):
stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness intheir faith. They will need Thy blessings.
Their role will be long and hard, for the enemy is strong.
He may hurl back our forces.Success may not come with rushing speed,
(20:00):
but we shall return again and again. And we know that by Thy grace
and by the righteousness of our cause, our suns will cry them wow.
Today's Democratic Party would impeach him forthose references to God. Right, where
have all those great leaders gone,Hey, let's go to the VIP line
(20:23):
talk with our friend Greg Lopez.Greg, as you know, is going
to win this special election coming upon June twenty fifth, and he's going
to serve out the rest of kenBuck's term. And Desa wanted to chat
with Greg about some stuff in thenews lately. Greg Lopez dot C is
the website. Greg, Welcome backto the Dan Kapla Show. Hey,
(20:44):
Dan, pleasure to be back. How you doing today? I am living
the dream, my friend. Lasttime you were in here, you were
debating Cherchia Calvareesi, who is yourobviously Democrat opponent in that special election.
And that's one thing I wanted toask you about. It's been in the
news, Abby, I'm sure youget asked about it a lot, and
that is you guys were supposed todebate at the Grizzly Rose last weekend.
(21:06):
It's this big, rockous, successfuldebate that the women of Weld have and
then you had decided not to.So please just explain to everybody why you
made that call, because obviously Ithink the world of the women of Weld
and Tammy and other people who runit. So how did all that come
down? You know, it's likeyou said, Dan, I mean,
(21:26):
look, the Women of Well. They're a great organization, you know,
Tammy Klein and her mom, MarchKlein, and Jillian Smith. They do
a lot of great stuff for theparty. But let me tell you,
you know, it's like any family. There was a lot of things happening
behind the scenes. I just didn'thave time to be part of any drama.
I wanted to focus on my campaign. I wanted to focus on making
(21:48):
sure that the people, the votersof CD four, were really getting a
sense of who I was. So, you know, I respectfully decided to
step aside. You read some ofthe articles that are out there, you
know, But ultimately, at theend of the day, I have a
huge respect for the Women of Well. I always have, always will so.
But I'm out there talking with thevoters, talking about the border,
(22:12):
the crisis at the border, talkingabout inflation, talking about you know,
what's going on with water issues herein Colorado, and you know, I'm
finding more and more that people aremore interested in what's going on, not
only at the national level, butwhat can we do to help their quality
of life, to make sure thatyou know, what they still believe like
(22:33):
you just started that America is stilla great place. We have great leaders,
and we're focusing on what is inthe best interests of our nation and
our republic. And Greig, myunderstanding and correct me if I'm wrong.
Is that the way this came downsurrounding this big debate at the Grizzly Rose
was that you had wanted an endorsementfrom the Women of Wealth prior to the
debate. They felt it wouldn't beappropriate prior to the debate since they were
(22:57):
also hosting your competition and in thedebate, and that's what you separated over.
Is that right? No, that'snot a correct statement. You know,
there was a lot of questions.Again, I'm not going to go
into it on the air, Dan, you know, if this is something
that it was deeper than the nominationor the endorsement had nothing to do with
(23:18):
my ultimate decision. It goes alot deeper. But people are saying they're
reporting what they want to report, and that's okay. You know, I
am not going to speak ill ofany of our organizations because they're strong organizations
that do great jobs. So youknow, I'm going to focus on my
election. I'm going to focus on. Oh, by the way, I
(23:40):
don't know if he even knew Iended up winning the straw Pole even though
I wasn't there. Oh that's agood day. I mean, maybe you
should stay away more often. Now, That's that's what my kids would have
said to me. Greg, Ijust couldn't help myself. But hey,
tell people the website if you would. It's Greg Loki dot G. All
right, they can go there andlearn more about me. Well, appreciate
(24:04):
the time. Thank you, youbet you take care of that is obviously
Greg Lopez. Glad you're here, and let's fly over to Denver, Colorado.
Here on the dan KAPLA shall welcomeLynn. Hello. There's a saying
trust and verify, but I'm alwaysthe opposite of those things, and I
say verifying trust and when I I'malways skeptical about things. Is that in
(24:27):
your wedding virus? Wells, Ipromised to verify it. Forty six years
later, guys, go, Idon't think you could marry in kindergarten.
Oh well, thank you, yeah, forty six years But anyway, so
I saw that, and I writeaway, I'm skeptical about things. So
(24:48):
I looked it up and researched itreally quick and it was easy to figure
out that it was not true. And I find it disgusting and I think
they should have those people who didthat. I'm hoping the whole RNC did
not condone this, but I thinkthat they should get people of higher caliber
because they don't represent me. Link. Can you explain to people what you're
(25:12):
talking about, because that was lastsegment and we got a bunch of new
people with us now, so tellthem what you're talking about. Oh about
the video of Biden, I'm well, I describe it this way. There's
an unfairly edited video of Biden putout by the RNC that make it appear
(25:32):
as if he defecated himself on stagetoday in Normandy. Now, he appeared
incompetent in multiple other ways, butclearly that video was falsely edited. He
did not defecate himself on that stage, and it was wrong for them to
do that, right, I agree, And so I'm finding it disgusting that
they did do that and make avideo like that that. If it was
(25:56):
the RNC that did that, yeah, no, the RNC put it out.
Now others put out a similar editedversion, but the big one that
when viral came from the RNC,and yeah, yeah, so disappointed.
And now now I'm just gonna haveto and I did today anyway, but
now just gonna have to double checkeverything they put out. I usually do
(26:18):
because if it doesn't sound right,it's not true. And I don't want
to believe something just because there's somebodythat I disagree with or don't care for.
I'm not going to believe a bunchof nonsense. And so well,
and Ben Shapiro, you know,Ben Shapiro's normally a straight shooter, so
he got fooled by this. Heput out this viral tweet. If Trump
doesn't hit Biden with the poop andJoe nickname within twenty four hours, I'm
(26:41):
not even sure what world we're livingin anymore. So I'm sure Ben Shapiro
is probably very upset with the RNCright now. What same on him for
automatically believing or something like that. No, no, listen, I'm not
going to be critical of Ben Shapirohere because it came from the RNC,
and listen, it's from the rnC. I couldn't blame him for accepting
(27:02):
it at face value. And Ihad to work real hard to find the
full video because I was like you, I looked at it and I said,
wait a second. I'm the guywho's been predicting on air that very
soon we're going to have, unfortunately, that clear breakdown moment for Joe Biden
and it will officially be over forhim as the nominee and maybe even as
presidency. And when I saw thatvideo, I thought, Okay, maybe
(27:23):
today was the day. Unfortunately,we know it's coming, but on something
that important, you know, Iwent and I had to work real hard
to find the full video. SoI'm just guessing Ben had just trusted the
rn C. Well that's where Isay, verify than trust. Yeah,
okay, okay, Well let's workfor you for forty six years, right,
yeah, yeah, okay, thankyou, Thank you. Lynn.
(27:47):
I wonder what some of the craziestwedding vows ever have been. Yeah,
anyway, glad you're here. Hey, when we come back, this this
is worth your time. We're aboutwe're far enough away from that wrongful conviction
of Trump now for the polls tostart to settle in and tell us something.
Fox News, which always trends alittle bit left, that's their tendency.
(28:11):
Fox News just came out with anew series of swing state polls,
so we'll tell you where they camein at let's call it four fifty one
year on the Dankapla Show and nowback to the Dankapless Show podcast. I'm
sure anybody listening who's done that trip. It's just one of my most powerful
memories ever is being at Normandy andthat is so cool. Thank you.
(28:34):
And we're playing a lot of realtime sound from DDA today throughout the show,
and we'll continue to do that.Glad you are here. A couple
of things before we get to whatI was going to talk about, I'll
give you those poll results because nowI think it starts to be really worth
your time, because we're what abouteight nine days? In ten days?
(28:56):
Are we almost a full two weekssince that conviction? No? About a
week? Are we? Was thatjust last one week? Holy cow?
I'm sorry. There is so muchgoing on. I know, so much
going on in my law practice. It just wow, it's been a whirlwind.
Yeah, But like you said,Dan, it feels like that long
of a news citle two weeks andwith the resulting polls, You're absolutely right.
(29:17):
So that verdict was just a weekago, exactly one week ago.
Oh cow, wow, that's amazing. So I think we need a little
more time before these these polls settlein enough that we can really see the
clear trend. But there's no doubtin my mind the clear trend will be
what I predicted it would be,which is in Donald Trump's favor for all
the reasons we have discussed. Butreally, one quick question, Dan,
(29:40):
wasn't that the left's best shot leftat Trump between now and November fifth?
That's it. None of these othercases are going to trial. They've got
their guilty verdict. It didn't movethe needle. That's it. One big
caveat okay, unless the left's bestshot at Trump between now an election day
comes from Trump. True, okay, fair enough? Their best shot though,
(30:02):
right, their best shot, becauseit comes back to what I've been
saying for a long time. Itis Trump's to lose. He has earned
a second term. He earned itthrough the way he performed his first term.
He's earned it through his toughness witheverything that's been thrown at him.
But he could still blow it.And so it's really what we're going to
find out. We're going to findout a lot more about President Trump between
(30:23):
now an election day, because ifwinning is his top priority, we'll see
him act a certain way. Ifother things may be his top priority.
And listen, he's only human.Who could blame him after being so wrongfully
treated and persecuted and now convicted ofthese fake felonies. In my opinion,
if he lost his balance and hemade it about other things. Yeah,
(30:48):
he's only human, but he'll blowit if he does that. So we'll
find out between now and an electionday whether the priority is winning that second
term, because if it is,he will. I just saw a headline
Biden promises he will not pardon Hunter. Joe Biden says he will not pardon
Hunter Biden. Yeah, the sameJoe Biden who said the laptop was Russian
(31:08):
disinformation. If there's one thing youcan be sure of, more sure than
your name itself, it is thatJoe Biden will pardon Hunter Biden. He
wants. I believe he wants thisconviction because this conviction helps Joe Biden,
because Joe Biden can then get upand say, look at equal justice under
(31:29):
the law. Even my own son, I could have pardoned him, and
I didn't because in America has tome fair. But then wait until the
trial that really hurts Joe Biden, which is the trial on tax evasion charges
come September, because where do youthink that money was coming from? He
wasn't paying taxes Hunt, It's right, Yeah, let's see what happens before
that trial. But Joe Biden willpardon Hunter. Biden. But might he
(31:51):
have said that having confidence in anot guilty verdict for Hunter? Because if
you remember Dan, he was planningto celebrate and spike the football disipation of
a guilty verdict for Trump. Ohyeah, but there's no reason to expect
a not guilty for Hunter. Imean, you don't think so in Delaware.
No, you could have that atthe Biden dinner table, because you
know the Biden benefits from a guiltyverdict here, and Hunter knows he's going
(32:17):
to be pardoned. And I wouldbet you in my car right now he'll
be pardoned before the tax evation trialin September. I mean, Biden will
likely be out of the race beforethen, but he'll be pardoned before then.
Yeah. So I want to giveyou those swing state results. It's
a weekend at this point, somaybe they're a little less determinative, but
(32:39):
they're still significant, particularly because theycome from Fox and Fox lean's left and
it's polling. So Trump has actuallygained in a couple of swing states since
the wrongful conviction. I think he'slost a point or two in Florida,
which is actually good news for reasonsI'll explain in a second. Florida it's
a four point race, fifty fortysix. Virginia Trump has gained. It's
(33:02):
a tie. Wow, Nevada Trumpfifty forty five. I think about the
same place he was in Fox pollingbefore. I'll double check that. Arizona.
He's gained two points in Arizona, and Fox polling he's now up fifty
one forty six in Arizona. ExpectFox tomorrow will drop Michigan on some of
the other states. But that andthis is all what I had predicted and
(33:23):
what we had all hoped for, right, which is that people will see
the reality of what happened in NewYork and it makes it even more important
to elect Trump. But here Ryanis why I think the fact that it's
narrowed a bit in Florida is goodnews for Trump long term. Okay,
because far and away it's not evenclose light years of separation. The very
(33:45):
best VP option he has, aslong as they work out the constitutional issue
is Marco Rubio. Okay, Andso maybe if there is titaning in Florida,
it makes it more likely he picksRubio. Could be true. But
what surprises you more, Dan,the only plus four for Trump in a
state DeSantis one by twenty Florida,or the tie in Virginia, which surprises
(34:07):
you Mark, Yeah, And Virginiaalways teases, right, Virginia always teases.
But in the end, it's sohard for a Republican to win Virginia.
Trump might this time because of allthe stuff we've been talking about.
But Florida. Listen, Trump's goingto win Florida. We all know that,
right. Trump is going to winFlorida. He will. But anything
that helps put Marco Rubio on thatticket as the VP. And there isn't
(34:30):
time to go into all the rationalenow, but we've talked about it before.
Rubio would help in so many differentways. He would help with women
enormously, obviously help solidify Trump's greatmomentum with Latinos as well, but the
fact that he would clearly be agreat president himself. That's going to help
Trump across the board. Here onthe Dan Capli Show,
