Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Capless and welcome to today's online podcast
edition of The Dan Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. So Jenna Griswold
has Tina Peters removed over one BIOS password and listen.

(00:21):
I understand that Peter story has other layers, but I'm
talking about the password in particular here and removed over
a BIOS password and says that the compromise of that
BIOS password quote alone constitutes a serious breach of voting
system security protocols. And then what does Griswold's office do

(00:42):
put six hundred BIOS passwords up on the internet. So
Rose Paglici, a real GOP star and house minority leader,
kind enough to join us on The Dan Caplis Show.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Rose, welcome back.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Oh, thank you so much, Dan. I appreciate you having
me on tonight.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Well, thank you, and on such a big issue because
I expect that there's going to be a real effort
to make this a one day story. It cannot be.
I mean that raises so many questions. There's so much
that needs to be done to ensure there's you know,
election integrity. But Rose, you're right in the middle of
all this, please just take.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It and run.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Thank you. You know, there's two things that I think
we really need to focus on. As you know, and
maybe not all your listeners know that on behalf of
our House Caucus, the assistant minority leaders high Windsor and
I issued a statement this morning basically saying that Jenna
Griswald needs to resign. But this is just a reminder

(01:41):
of the pattern of reckless disregard for any professional standards,
lack of transparency by Jenner griz Wald. And if you're you,
and I'm sure your listeners, remember that she mailed thirty
thousand postcards to non citizens illegally encouraging them to register
to vote, and then falsely informed other voters that they

(02:03):
hadn't voted when they really had and now disclosing election
system passwords. We have some really big issues in the
Secretary of State's office. Now. What I do also want
your listeners to know, and I hope Daniel help me
get this message out, is that while I don't trust
Jenna Griswold, I don't know that there's a lot of
people in the state that do. I do have the

(02:24):
most trust in the integrity of our county clerks, and
they're the ones who are actually overseeing the accounting of
the vote. I am a candidate myself. I trust my
clerk and recorder in al Pasco County. So I want
to make sure that there's a distinction between holding Jenna
accountable for your responsibility her mismanagement of the Secretary of

(02:44):
State's office. But I also need people to know that
they need to get out and vote, they need their
voices to be heard, and we need to restore balance
in Colorado.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Rospiglici our guest, and I share your confidence in county clerks.
What I don't know, Rose, because I don't subpoena power,
so I can't get inside all of this. What I
don't know is what can be done with these passwords.
And you may very well, and it may be a
case where nobody could have used one of these passwords

(03:15):
to affect the integrity of our system. But I think
that question right now remains unanswered for the general public,
and I think we need to have a reliable, high
level answer and explanation.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I absolutely I think we have got to hold Jenna accountable.
The people of Colorado deserve answers. I do want to
add though, there are several layers of security. Thank goodness,
we don't have to rely just on Jenner Griswold and
my county clerk, who was nice enough to contact me
this afternoon to reassure me that there are systems and

(03:52):
protocols in place to protect the integrity of the election
irrespective of what Jennia Griswold did.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
And then I think we need to figure out how
it happened, right, And as I said yesterday, my first
reaction remains today is I don't think anybody did it intentionally.
I don't think anybody was looking to commit a crime
or anything like that. But we've got to know the
truth about how it happened. And obviously we can't rely
on Jenna Griswold to investigate herself.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
No, absolutely, and the Health Republicans are looking at various
options to understand better what our power and authority is
and what we can do moving forward to get the
answers to what is in your mind, what's in my mind,
and what's in the voter's minds?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah, and is there going to be a process. I mean,
I haven't heard anything from Phil Wiser on this. I mean,
is there going to be a special counsel independent who
investigates this as forensic experts, because at the very least
we need to know how it happened and make sure
it doesn't happen again.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I absolutely agree. And anything that we can do to
make sure that is a process that's put in place,
obviously we will be engaged in that process.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Yeah, and credit to the Colorado GOP for breaking this story,
important story, and credit to Kyle Clark for.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Doing a real good job on it.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And we'll be playing some of that sound and wow, Rose,
So hey, what else do we need to know? As
long as we have you here. I was just all, folks,
my own theory on this as to why Kyle in
this just personal opinion. Why Kyle did such a great
job with this and blew up Jenna Griswold in the process.

(05:29):
Is the governor's race starts in the open a week
from today, and I think you've got a lot of
hungry Dems who want that open seat, and I think
they want Griswold out of the way.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
But that's just me.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, you know, I don't know his motivation, obviously, I
haven't talked to him directly, although I do appreciate the
good work he has done. I actually learned about this
story from Kyle Clark, so I do appreciate his transparency
and putting all that information out there. I think, irrespective
of whether Jenna runs for governor or not, I think

(06:04):
what has been done here is just an absolute disregard
for the people of Colorado. I mean, she hasn't even
taken accountability for it. It's not like she said, Hey,
I don't know how this happened. I am going to
put every process in place to make sure this never
happens again. I take full responsibility as leader and as
Secretary of State. But she did none of that, and

(06:26):
I think that is really another part of this issue
is how would you ever trust someone like that in office,
whether it's this office or a future office. I don't
know how the people of Colorado could.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Trust her, right, And that's the problem, right is, you know,
we need confidence in the system so that everybody goes
out and vote. We need the system to be clean
so that votes are accurately counted.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
We need all of that in place. And my own
belief in Colorado.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I've never seen any evidence that we've had any races
changed because of fraud. That does occur, but I think
the standard needs to be no fraud. But just Jenna Griswold,
because of her hyper partisanship, I think she alone undermines
confidence in the system.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Well, and I think that's what this particular issue highlights.
And I hope, you know, going back to Kyle Clark's motivation,
I hope that part of it is just the lack
of transparency to the people. And that's not a partisan issue, right,
That's not a Republican or Democrat issue. We all want
to have faith in the system. We want people to
believe that they can submit their votes and their vote

(07:33):
ballots will be counted, and that it'll all be on
the highst of integrity. And Jenna underlines that in every
step in everything she has done in the Secretary of
State's office. Again, I am so grateful for the county
of clerks across the state who are working so hard
to ensure the integrity of our elections. But when you
can't trust the person who oversees for the state this

(07:54):
election process, it undermines voute her confidence and so I
mean I think she has novels to resign. She has
a noveloge me not see you, Dan, but to all
of the people of Colorado and.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
To a cause greater than self to trust in elections.
And I think you're absolutely right.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Rose. Thank you for the time today. Look forward to
the next visit.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Oh, thank you, Dan. I really appreciate you and all
of your listeners. Please go out and vote.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Amen to that. Amen to that. That is Rose Glici.
She is the House Minority leader. Thank you, Rose. I
want to play this sound and again, you know, regardless
of motivation, Kyle Clark did a great job here.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
This is tremendous journalism.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
It's a great service to the state, and I particularly
enjoyed this part.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
A final question, this is not the first time that
your office has made mistakes that have damaged voter's confidence
in our elections.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
In twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Two, your office sent out mailers to thirty thousand non
citizens inviting them to register to vote.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
They, of course, are not eligible to register to vote.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
That same year, your office used Colorado's ballot tracking system
to send messages to specific Colorado's encouraging them to vote,
when in fact they had already voted, causing confusion that
had to be cleaned up by the county clerks. And
now this leak of the voting system, passwords given your offices,
repeated errors that have damaged confidence in our elections, which

(09:18):
you say is paramount.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Will you resign?

Speaker 6 (09:22):
Absolutely not, Kyle, And I just want to your unfairly
characterizing and leading out some crucial information.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
No, he's doing a great job with that, and he
made the most of his last interview with Jenna Griswold, right,
because that's what the left does. If you ask him good, tough,
fair questions, they never come back. So that's the last
time he will ever talk to Jenna Griswold and commend
him on a job very well done. As I said earlier,
my own suspicion can't prove it, not even sure it's true.

(09:54):
Is that what's behind this is that the left once
Griswold out of the way, the govern nurse race begins
a week from today. They want Griswold out of the way.
It's inconvenient for them. You know that all the big jobs,
all the big jobs held by Democrats state wide in Colorado.
You know they I'm other than hers, you know, seem

(10:16):
to be the property of boring old white guys. Mike
Johnston a little bit younger. So yeah, they want her
out of the way. A five to five for zero
five eight two five five.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
The number you're on the Dan Capla Show.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
And now back to the Dan Kapla Show podcast.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
Wow, that's terrible. That's what it says. That's what it says.

Speaker 8 (10:59):
So yeah, remember Hillary, she said deplorable and then she
said irredeemable.

Speaker 7 (11:06):
Right, but she said deplorable.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
That didn't work out. Garbage, I think is worse right.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
But he doesn't know.

Speaker 8 (11:11):
You have to please forgive him, Please forgive.

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Him for he not knows what he said.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
So hilarious. I think Biden knew exactly what he was saying.
And as I've said from the moment Kamala got installed
and he got deposed, he wants her to lose. He
wants the people who humiliated him this way to fail.
And he's shown that pretty blatantly, hasn't He thrown on
a Trump had to make America great at and now

(11:41):
doing this last night. So thank you Joe Biden for
doing what you did. And it's the way he truly
feels and I think that's part of what motivated him
last night as well. He wanted to get a final
shot in. This is how he truly feels about us.
He's made that clear in other ways before. She's made
it very very clear before. And yeah, that's why they
jail pro lifers and do all this other stuff that

(12:03):
they do. But I think he just wanted to get
that shot in. He killed two birds with one stone.
He got it off his chest about us, and he
hurt her at the same time. That's a good night
in his mind. All Right, I'm looking at one of
the greatest images I've ever seen right now, and we'll
get you a little bit of that sound. We have
some great text and calls. I want to get to
those as well. But President Trump right now in Wisconsin

(12:27):
Green Bay. And we talked earlier about how he appeared
in a garbage truck earlier wearing a garbage kind of
a waste management vest, let's call it garbage man vest.
And so now he's wearing that vest as he gives
his speech at the rally, as he does the weave, Ryan,
can you take us in there for suff.

Speaker 9 (12:50):
Thank you?

Speaker 8 (12:51):
Our campaign has been endorsed by the four hundred thousand
members of the Fraternal Order of Police and every single
police group all around our Tho.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
What about the sanitation workups? I really Harpey wats that
one up too. That's a big deal.

Speaker 8 (13:09):
It's been endorsed by the Border Patrol. We have the
greatest people that Border Patrol.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Those agents are kind about very true. Thank you Ryan
for that. I wanted people to get a taste. But
also you've got to picture this.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
He's got the shirt on, he's got the red tie on,
but he's got what Fox describes as the trash man
uniform on.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
It is just perfect.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
It's not quite as good as McDonald's, but it's a
real close second.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
You're not garbage to me. You're great Americans, Okay, Dan?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
That is and this great line he had. CNN put
it on a headline a few minutes ago. I think
I took a picture of it. Let me check Hereah
Trump to Harris, you can't lead America if you don't
love Americans.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
CNN put that headline up. Yeah, no, they've got to
be ticked.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Hey, I want to find some time to get into
the latest holding et cetera, and all of the data
that I think just just portends very well for President Trump.
It isn't all positive. Obviously, there is concern out there,
and it's a legitimate concern. I think there are other
explanations for the fact that early returns in the swing state,
early voting in the swing state is running ten to thirteen.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Points female at this point.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
And obviously there's a gender gap in the polls, you know,
where Trump's winning big among men and hairris big among women.
So there is some cause for concern in that, but
there could be other explanations. As I look at all
the data as a whole, I think it again, the
data suggests it's going to be a very good night
for Donald Trump on election night, a very good night
for all of us and for America. And then I

(14:43):
think there are fundamentals beyond the data that make that
even more clear. But we'll find out together. David in Denver,
you're on the Dan Kapla Show.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Welcome.

Speaker 10 (14:52):
Hey Dan, good to talk to you. I haven't talked
to you since COVID summer four years ago. Oh man,
do you frequently at the time. We've talked to Ryan
every time urging you to run for governor at the time. Wow,
because hoping for nothing more fun to see than having

(15:14):
you debate Jered Polis. But now since Ryan just brought
it up again and Kelly approved the message, I want
to add myself to the third it and say, I
certainly hope you surprise us one week from now with
the announce your announcement for governor of the state of Colorado,
because I think you alone could single handedly change Colorado.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Please, David, take all the time you need. Yeah, yeah, no,
thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
I'd be surprising above all myself if that announcement got made.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
But thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
I really appreciate the kind words. It's going to be
amazing to watch, though, isn't it, Because we've got an
open seat.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
We've got an open seat.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
So I think the big news will be anyone who
doesn't get into the race. I think we're gonna see
a ton of really good people get into the race
on the GOP side, and we'll see a ton of
Dems get in the race. But here's the question for you, David.
Does Jenna Griswold get in the race?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Now? I think this put a stake in.

Speaker 10 (16:12):
That No, it rocks the boat for sure.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah, yeah, no.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
I she may get in just because what else is
she going to do but that that? Yeah, boat, I
like the analogy that that ship ain't selling.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
David, thank you.

Speaker 10 (16:25):
A long time ago, Dan, you did say that you
wanted nothing more than at some point to serve in
a higher public office. And I can't think of a
better time than we help you do.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
David, Thank you man. That means the world to me.
Really appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Eight five five for is there a five A two
five five at the number. Let's get to some of
these great texts. I've got to get to.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
My favorite one of the day. Where is it came
in earlier?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Ah? Here it is, Dan, great post on X quote
just because your garbage doesn't mean you can't do great things.
It's called the garbage, not a garbage cannot that's from Lexile.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Love that post. I love that post, Dan.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
President Trump just arrived in Green Bay and a Trump
garbage shock. Yeah, we've been talking about that since he
popped up. It is a beautiful image. I'm sure you'll
enjoy it when you get home. Somebody quotes CRS one
thirteen seven eighty two. Any person who knowingly publishes or
causes to be published passwords relating to a voting system
shall immediately have their authorized access revoked and is guilty.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Of a Class five felony.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
The operative word there is knowingly right, and so I
don't practice that kind of law. I do catastrophic injury,
work and wrongful death. So I'm not familiar with the
historic application of that statute. If I'm betting you in my house,
my gut tells me that this was not done intentionally.
It wasn't done to undermine security, but the fact it

(17:56):
could occur shows to me a level of disorganization, of incompetence,
of recklessness inside that office that has to be addressed
and fully exposed. So I'm not expecting any kind of
criminal prosecution, but there needs to be an investigation led
by an independent prosecutor using forensic experts just to get

(18:17):
to the full truth and get it published. Cannot rely
on Jenna Griswold to investigate herself when we come back.
I think one of the most important votes you can cast.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
You're on the Dan Caplis Show.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast party.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
What's your office said? What's your office said?

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Was that the public disclosure of the biospasswords alone constituted
a serious breach of voting system security. So now that's
your office has leaked passwords, does that also constitute a
serious breach of voting system security protocols?

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Well, to push back on you, Kyle, that sentence is
in the press release, but there is a much bigger
press release and part of that investigator in Mesa County
was two sets of passwords, unauthorized access stolen.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Wait a second, I've got it right in front of me.
Her press release says what Kyle Clark said. It said
that the public disclosure of the BIOS passwords for one
or more components alone constitutes a serious breach of voting
system security protocols. Kyle Clark was absolutely right and did
an excellent job in that, and we're going to continue

(19:29):
to dig deeper into that. There needs to be a
full explanation of how this possibly could have happened and whether,
in fact, there is any security issue arising from it.
Let's go to the VIP line and welcome to somebody
who's doing fantastic work out there right now on one
of the most important issues. I respectfully submit that any
of us will ever have the chance to vote on

(19:50):
it as Brittany Wesley, executive director, Colorado Catholic Conference. I
don't care if you're an atheist, I don't care if
you're Catholic, a Christian. Whatever this is transcends all of that.
It goes back to just fundamental human decency and basic
truth and reality about what abortion is, what late term
abortion is, and what the left now wants you to

(20:12):
put in the Colorado Constitution. Brittany, welcome back to the show.

Speaker 9 (20:17):
Hi, Dan, thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Well appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Hey, yeh, tell folks if you would, what Amendments seventy
nine is and what it would do, and why it's
so important that we across all lines defeated.

Speaker 9 (20:30):
Absolutely so. Amendment seventy nine is pouted as a way
to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution, but it
goes far beyond Roe v. Wade, and certainly far beyond
even Colorado's twenty twenty two Reproductive Health Equity Acts, which
already codified statutory abortion for all nine months. What Amendment
seventy nine does is insert the government into the parent

(20:51):
child relationship by removing all common sense safeguards for abortion,
including parents and notification, so a minor could be coercid
center an abortion without their parents' knowledge. This is because
of the language in the amendment that says the government
shall not deny, impede, or discriminate against the right to abortion.
That removes everything. It removes common sense regulations on abortion clinics,

(21:14):
so the safety standard is down. And it also removed
section fifty of Article five in our constitution. And the
PROPONENTCE of seventy nine say this is to allow for
public funding to go to public employees health insurance plans.
But that's not the reason to remove it entirely. The
reason to remove section fifty of Article five entirely is

(21:34):
to pave the way for a direct tax pay allocation,
a multi million dollar bill passed by our Colorado State
legislature as soon as twenty twenty five for abortion procedures
and travel.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Brittany Vestlely our guest.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
And so at this point, obviously, first people need to
vote and vote against it. Can't mail it in and
it's too late for that. You got to go and
you got to drop your ballot off. What else can
people do to help defeat this In City of seventy.

Speaker 9 (22:01):
Nine, Well, we just had a rally and a declaration
of healthcare professionals at the steps of the Capitol this morning, Dan,
So there's over one hundred and twenty healthcare professionals across
the state of Colorado signed a public declaration. They put
their Jane, their John Hancock's signature are on this declaration
saying Amends seventy nine goes too far. So you have

(22:23):
an incredibly diverse coalition of people, even those who support
abortion access saying Amends seventy nine goes too far. And
we have an AD that's out on digital platforms, on
connect TV broadcasts and targeting independent and moderate voters because
our data shows that if if this is not too
late in the game, we're still We've been hammering away

(22:45):
for over a week on our AD platform, but for
months trying to make sure that the moderate and independent
voter voting block know that this amendment is so extreme
it goes far beyond any reasonable, our common sense safeguards
on abortion and Colorados if they knew that they would

(23:05):
vote against them at seventy nine. So on Saturday, we're
having a sign waving day. We are asking people to
go to their high traffic areas wave signs that they
either make themselves or their yard signs against them at
seventy nine because Ammas seventy nine, it hurts women, it
hurts families, It puts the government in the parent child
relationships by removing parents and notification. And if Colorados knew

(23:26):
what it did, they would vote against it. And that's
the biggest thing as we go to the last six
days of the election. We need to make sure Colorons
know this goes too far.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
And if folks want to look at stuff that lays
all this out, what's the best website for that?

Speaker 9 (23:39):
Thank you at www dot Right to know c dot com.
That's r idht D Hey n owco dot com and
you can see our issue committee and all the news
and data on and messaging on this amendment and what
it actually does is on that website platform.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Yeah, and I have to have Brittany Vesseli, our guest,
had a guest on the other day at Genesee Jensen Chessen,
and she is involved in an organization that fights human
trafficking and she was talking about how Amendments seventy nine,
if put in our constitution, will help protect traffickers and

(24:22):
will help human traffickers complete their their horrific mission and
I thought that was a very compelling argument as well.

Speaker 9 (24:31):
Absolutely, well, look on national scale, Colorado is one of
the top sex trafficking states because we're on that I
seventy and I twenty five corridor, So there's a lot
of sex trafficking that goes through Colorado. Individuals on both
sides with political I'll agree to that. Why would we
put forward an amendment to our constitution that removes p
rents and notification so a miner who is being sex

(24:53):
traffic can be taken to an abortion clinic, even from
out of state, taken to an abortion clinic in the
state of Colorado, and they would have an abortion without
any requirement of parental notification or knowledge. So they could
be into an abortion clinic, have an abortion, and be
back on the streets portioned to the slavery of sex trafficking.
That's how harmful Amendment seventy nine is and why Colorads

(25:16):
need to vote against that.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Well, Brittany, keep up the great work, and this could
be one of those that comes down to a handful
of votes, because you know, the left and the abortion industry,
they need fifty five percent. They need fifty five percent
because it's a constitutional amendment right, So this could come
down to a small number of votes.

Speaker 9 (25:35):
Absolutely, That's another reason it's very concerning. What the Secretary
of State just oh my lord, in the last couple
of days with the passwords to the voting systems, we
have the data that shows that we only need to
drop public sentiment by five percent to win this, saying
the other side of the proponents of seventy nine know this.
That's why they are so scared of the parental notification argument,

(25:57):
because they know that parental notifications on the line that
this is a paruntal rights issue beyond even the abortion issue.
And that's why Couloradden, even those who support some measure
of abortion access, has to vote know against them at
seventy nine.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Man, I think it's one of the most important votes
that I'll cast in my lifetime and that any of
us will cast in our lifetime.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
So thank you, Brittany, keep it up. Thank you so much, Dan,
take care.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
That is a Brittany vestly kind enough to be with us.
She is, of course the executive director of Colorado Catholic Conference.
I want to get to some of these great texts
as well. If you just joined us, Thank you on
this really kind of wild afternoon, right, feels like winter
all of a sudden. Be careful out there because this
stuff's going to start to freeze, I think.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
But quick recap the highlights this afternoon when you get home.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
One of the great images you'll see President Trump in
a garbage truck, wearing the vest that you often see
our trash men and women wear, and answering questions from reporters.
A big Trump twenty twenty four on the side of
the white garbage truck, American flags flying, and that is
he's given his talk. Another just bought a powerpacked rally

(27:05):
in Wisconsin, Green Bay.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
In this case, he's wearing the vest.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
He's wearing what Fox is describing as a what a
trash worker uniform. It's just it is such a cool image.
Not quite as great as what we saw at McDonald's,
but it is really good. And then now when we
come back a little taste of this, we're going to
deep dive it tomorrow because it's so much fun. Want
to give you a little taste as I get through text.

(27:29):
Also of just an awful lot of data out there,
most of it new data, fresh data, a lot of
it polling data. It can be early returns, photo registration.
So much data pointing in Trump's direction, some data pointing
the other way. Want to make sure you have it all.
You're on the Dan Kapla Show.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
And now back to the Dan Kapla Show podcast.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Boy, I gotta thank President Trump.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
He has made my life so much easier tomorrow in
two big ways. First of all, you know, in fact,
our daughter, who works at her Love firm, she's phenomenal,
was just saying to me today, what are you gonna
wear tomorrow?

Speaker 2 (28:05):
We're all dressing up. Man, What's what am I gonna wear?

Speaker 8 (28:07):
Now?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I got my costume right now.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
It's the trash man vest that President Trump is wearing
on stage in Wisconsin as we speak. And then he
also took care of tomorrow's show. Because normally you get
a good bite or two out of a Trump rally,
right what do we have?

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Six seven, eight, nine, ten bites?

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Because the stand up routine he's doing on the whole
trash man vest and the garbage truck thing right now,
it's like instant classic. It's so good, hey, which brings
it back to what idiot included a so called comedian
in Sunday's rally in New York. Trump's the funniest guy around,
and I don't want to relitigate that whole thing, but

(28:45):
he is a hilarious.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Isn't this that positive?

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Is?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Yeah? Yeah, no.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
And Ryan's whole point, which is legit, is that I
viewed as a monumental blunder Sunday to have that idiot
up there who got up there to hurt Trump, and
it was such a rate.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Event in so many ways. So I'd give you that
as a huge blunder.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
But Ryan's point is, without that huge blunder, you don't
get Biden coming out last night during Kamala's so called
unity speech and saying, yeah, the only garbage I see
floating out there is Trump's supporters. So yeah, in the end,
it's it's a net plus. But that brings me to
some of the data. We'll be doing a deep dive
tomorrow because it takes more time to do it right.

(29:24):
But I wanted to give you a little heads up
on the way home if you're wondering about the latest polling, etc.
But here's how I respectfully submit. The more accurate way
to view all of this is, you know, the polling
is just a piece of it. I think I think
the polling is a helpful piece of it, at least
in terms of overall trends rather than individual polls as

(29:46):
some of the other data. There's so much focus this
time now right on early vote returns, and that's relevant
to a point, but I think it can be so
hard to interpret because twenty twenty, right, the last presidential
with early voting a whole different critter because of COVID.
So I think there can be some overreading of early
returns if you are going to read those. And yeah,

(30:07):
you like the fact that you see some really good
GOP numbers in Pennsylvania, Nevada among other places, you know,
you may not like the fact, not from a gender standpoint,
but simply a race outcome standpoint, that women are out
returning men at this point by an average of eleven
or twelve points, and Trump does better among men than women.
But again, I wouldn't overreact to that, because you've got

(30:29):
stronger early vote returns now from Republican women as well.
But I just I come back to some of these
core fundamentals, right, and then some of the fresh indicators,
like when if we had a race where you had
Washington Post La Times and USA Today all say they're
not endorsing the Democrat. You know, I tend to put

(30:50):
more weight in that than certain polls. And then just
the big fundamental where we just step back and we
get away from the individual piece, is look at the
big picture. America really going to vote for a far
left radical from San Francisco, That would be such a
break in precedent for this country. I just cannot see

(31:11):
that happening, and America just voting for more of the same,
because again, she's the sitting vice president in a nation
where what twenty eight percent of the people say we're
on the right track. No, So I think that big
picture stuff too, all makes me very very confident for Trump.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Obviously, it could go the other way. We all know that.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
There were a series of polls out today, put out
by CNN. I tend to believe they're politically motivated. I'd
be very surprised if they're accurate, but showing Harris with
big leads in Wisconsin and Michigan, like five six point
leads in Wisconsin in Michigan, which I just don't believe
based on a lot of different things. But even those Ryan,

(31:51):
you noticed, even those CNN polls had them tied in Pennsylvania,
and Pennsylvania is like the big Enchilada.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
By the way, I think President Trump very well.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
To cancel his appearance at the penn State game this weekend.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
I think that was in a home game for penn State.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Right Ohio State.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I think that was going to be a home game.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Why would he cancel, Well, I think he's going to
be in Virginia instead. But oh, I just think if
it is in fact a home game for Pennsylvania, for Penn.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
State, I believe it is.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
I think it'd be wise to cancel because I think
he's sitting real pretty right now in Pennsylvania, and all
of a sudden, if you start disrupting traffic and entry
into the stadium and everything else at a big game
like that, you could take some people off.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
That's a great point.

Speaker 11 (32:35):
And the thing I'm going to say right now, Dan
is no matter what Harry into and I know he's
got to cover the horse race aspect of this for CNN.
I can't see these polls suddenly breaking toward Kamala like
there's error in Trump's favor. I don't sense that. I
don't feel that. I don't think that at all. If anything,
it will break toward Trump, maybe not as much as

(32:55):
twenty sixteen or twenty I don't see it breaking toward
Kamala at all.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
No, and you can back to the common sense reasons
as well, right, I mean, no, you would think at
this point, and we tend to see this trend in
the polls. It's not overwhelming, but it's been there except
for some exceptions such as the CNN polling, this trend
toward Trump, which again makes perfect sense because the Trump
years were good, but also in the polling, come on,

(33:19):
I mean, you've got Trump supporters being labeled enemies of
the people. I like the President I'm paraphrasing, and now
being called garbage by the president Kamala Harris. It's kind
of the cool kid thing to say in certain circles.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Yeah, and for Kamala Harris, etc.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
So so many reasons that Trump supporters would not be
admitting it to pollsters, and people who aren't supporting Harris
would think, God, it's the more socially appropriate answer to give.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
I just think there are so many reasons to believe
this is trending Trump.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
So I wanted to get to this great.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Text though, and this Texter asked about Dan J justsaw
on Fox an anti abortion ad that showed pictures of
supposedly aborted fetuses. Could only catch first name of Terry.
Somebody could you look into and comment? Yeah, I haven't
seen the spot yet and I can't find it online,
but it's Randall Terry as I understand it, and he

(34:10):
is a candidate for something somewhere. But the reason, and
I think this is so beautiful, the reason that the
networks are forced to carry the spot is because it's
for a political campaign and the law does not allow
them essentially to censor political ads. And I know it's
very hard for people to look at, but it's very

(34:31):
important that people know and see the truth about what
abortion is. It is obviously the destruction of innocent human
life in a very very violent way. So as uncomfortable
as it is, it was uncomfortable to look at some
of the other horrific things that have happened in our history.
People need to see these pictures, but that's why that's happening.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
