Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Dan Caplis and welcome to today's online podcast
edition of The Dan Caplis Show. Please be sure to
give us a five star rating if you'd be so kind,
and to subscribe, download, and listen to the show every
single day on your favorite podcast platform. You are literally
fighting for the American way in this election in a
way we really haven't had to before in our lifetime,
(00:21):
though sixteen is very close, maybe even equal. Okay, maybe
even equal, because think about what happened in sixteen. Trump voters,
and Trump saved America. We would not have American democracy
as we know it if Trump had lost in sixteen,
because we'd have a solid liberal majority on the US
Supreme Court, and every major policy issue now would be
(00:43):
removed from the democratic process and would be designed by
liberal Supreme Court justices. So that saved American democracy in sixteen,
and that and so much more at stake this time around.
So glad you're here. And what a gift from the founders,
right that. I mean, think about all those years, decades, centuries,
even people had to go out and fight and die
(01:05):
the way our brave men and women in the military
still do today, just in order to have this democracy
but today the rest of us, you know, under the
protective shield of our great military, the rest of us,
all we have to do is vote. All we have
to do within the political process is go out there
and give everything we've got to try to make sure
(01:27):
that America survives and thrives. Glad your hair. So much
going on today, I won't even try to control it.
There's just so much going on. Treat it as open lines.
We have a wide array of sound. Every cut is
hot and important, and we're just going to get it
in as soon as we possibly can. Also have spe
my conversation with Speaker Mike Johnson, who was in town
(01:50):
late yesterday in support of Gabe Evans, And if you
haven't looked into Gabe's race, please do first. He's a
great Guy's a great candidate, be a tremendous congressman from
CD eight in color Lorado, and you know control of
the House could easily turn on it is you'll hear
the Speaker say during our conversation yesterday. And also want
to mention, I mean, decide for yourself once you have
(02:11):
the tape. But Mike Johnson, I've had the privilege of
interviewing so many super smart people, and I encounter a
lot of super smart people in my real job, which is,
you know, I've been a trialer for forty years. But
Mike Johnson is clearly one of the very smartest people
I've ever been around. Whip smart, very cool guy, just
you know, kind of a consummate, big timer. So I'm
(02:32):
glad he's risen to this level. And we had a
great conversation, including at one point to get into the
issue of whether God saved Trump and the assassination attempts.
And one of the great things about Speaker Johnson very
open about his faith and how his faith shapes his
actions in office. And I love that because if you
(02:52):
don't live your faith, then it's not faith. Right and
I'm not claiming to do it perfectly, but that's just
the truth. If you don't live it, it ain't faith. And
he does live it. So that conversation coming up with
House Speaker Mike Johnson. We're going to have Brittany Vestli
with us from Colorado Catholic Conference at five point thirty six.
(03:13):
But this is far, far beyond a Catholic issue, and
this is the issue of the attempt to put in
fantaside into the Colorado Constitution in the form of this
insidious amendment number seventy nine. And literally, I mean, what
would you be building in is is healthy moms, healthy babies,
full term, nine months dilated, ready to deliver. You can
(03:35):
chop that baby up and it's going to be right
there in the Constitution. And guess what you get to
pay for too, because it'll be taxpayer funding of abortion
of seventy nine passes, as well as doing away with
parental notifications. So just a lot of horrible things that
the left now wants to put in the Colorado Constitution,
and across party lines, across religious lines, across all lines,
(03:57):
we need to band together and stop that lunacy. We
have far better people than that. Your friend Ryan, if
Valdemar is going to join us at four point thirty six,
very cool guy as well, a lot of cool guys
on the show today and gals. Kelly's here to kick
it off, and Brittany's certainly a cool gal, but star
studied here. Yeah, Valdemar was trying to get into a
(04:20):
bar and they wanted to charge a forty dollars cover
because he had a daga hat on forty because he
had a mac ad on so and it just happened
to be a gay bar. But no bar should do that,
no anything should do that. And so he will join
us at four point thirty six to describe that experience.
Please text us on any or all of this dam
(04:43):
five seven seven three nine. Hey, prayers please for the
folks in Florida. As this Hurricane Milton. Where'd they get
that name? But this Hurricane Milton now bearing down on
Florida in a way we rarely see from hurricanes, because
this one's coming sideways at him across the Gulf, and
it's a category five already and looks like it could
(05:04):
be absolutely vicious, and they've already had just an awful
lot of harm there eight five five was her A
five eight two five five takes d a n five
seven seven three nine. Where do you want to start again?
So much good news for those of us who want
to save America by electing Donald Trump. But nothing's guaranteed, right,
(05:26):
nothing's guaranteed, but just an awful lot of good news.
Let me start with this. I don't know why, but
when you have lost Saturday Night Live as a Democrat candidate,
then you've got to figure you've pretty much lost. I
probably won't play this whole thing, but long enough for
you to get the feel for it. You know, the
shots at walls. That's fun and expected. But what really
(05:46):
surprised me Ryan was that they portrayed Kamala as a wino. Now, previously,
you know, we had the Rogan you know, the Rogan
Show where one of the guests had labeled her a
wine mom, America's wine mom, that sort of thing. But
this is sn L portraying her as as. They didn't
(06:06):
use the word why not, let's say, as somebody. How
would you describe it heavily consuming?
Speaker 2 (06:15):
You're sitting there with Doug m hoff by Andy.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Sanders, honest thing, whatever that may be.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Okay, my friend, you said play the whole thing, and
which cut his e? Because I just played double zero? Okay,
this cut double zero then constitutes the whole thing. Okay,
got it?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Come on, just relax.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
You know you haven't had a night off in three months.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Do you want to watch something less stressful like the
Menendez Brothers show.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
I don't know, Dougie, I kind of wish I had
picked Josh right now, Oh, Josh Shapiro, No.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Josh holding up a wine body.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
It will be fine.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
It's not like he's gonna say something crazy. I've become
friends with school shooters.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, So why do you think SNL's doing this.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
I think that it was such low hanging fruit that
they had to mimic it.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I thought it was a really clever joke.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
On the Josh Wine that is a brand of wine,
and Shapiro with that joke worked in and Jim Gaffigan
is who we saw as Tim Walls saying that I
became friends with school shooters and then she crushes the
glass of wine in her hand.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah. Yeah, now, and you have to see the visual
to see kind of the portrayal of her as as
likely having a lot of wine. Eight five five zero
five eight two five five. We'll get to the text
EA N five seven seven three nine. I see there's
a preemptive text. That's when you know we're in the
stretch run of the campaign. Speaking of which Ryan, I
(07:47):
can't believe we're not flooded with calls already, people saying, Dan,
you were right on multiple fronts angry with me for
taking the suspense out of life, but on the sports front,
predicted the Bronco victory, and of course it was all
of that on the political front, you know, predicted, Hey,
what are we going to see? What are we going
to see down the stretch? Donald Trump has been a
tremendous closer in sixteen and twenty and I said, he
(08:11):
is in closer mode as of Friday. And what did
we see? I mean that you can't even call it
a rally in Pennsylvania. That was a revival. It was
like a revival and we've got some great sound for it.
But if he didn't catch any of it, it was
I thought, so well put together, so thoughtful, so well developed.
(08:33):
It honored the importance of the moment. It was really
smart and powerful and moving and certainly I think very
moving for the Did we ever get an official crowd
estimate in Pennsylvania? Mus Well, yeah, and listen, and then
you saw the crowd in Wisconsin. And I'm just here
to tell you you're pulling those kind of crowds down the
(08:55):
stretch before election day. Very hard to see him losing either,
because those people, obviously, you know, reflect an awful lot
of other people out there. But it all comes back
to right, it all comes back to intensity, It all
comes back to the intensity of support. And as we
sit here right now, whether in the left, right, somewhere
in between, just step back, close your eyes, the most
(09:18):
powerfully honest moment you can have. Who do you think
has more intensity of support right now? Trump or Kamala
Harris who didn't get a single vote in the primaries,
couldn't even make it to Iowa in twenty was installed
in a backroom deal in the middle of the night,
can't even do a press conference. Yeah, I don't think
it's even close. And I think these rallies are part
(09:39):
of that proof. So a very powerful sound out of
the Ryan calls it revival. Can't argue with that. In Pennsylvania,
coming up, we'll have my interview with Speaker of the
House Mike Johnson, who was in town yesterday to support
Gave Evans and I hope you do too. Please check
out Gave Evans website. He's running in CD eight. Much
more ahead on the Dan Caple Show.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
And now back to the Dan Kaplas Show podcast.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
You want to.
Speaker 6 (10:04):
Clarify with the law is there in Minnesota? Abortion Finder,
a website that helps women find access, says abortion is
legal throughout pregnancy in Minnesota. There is no ban or
limits on abortion in Minnesota based on how far along
in a pregnancy you are, you sign the bill that
makes it legal through all nine months. Is that a
position you think Democrats should advocate for nationally?
Speaker 7 (10:25):
Look, the Vice President, I have been clear, the restoration
of Roe versus Wade is what we're asking for.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Way make her own the law does. The law is
very clear.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
It does not change that that has been debunked on
every occasion.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
Let's agree what you signed is there's not a single
limit through nine months of pregnancy. Roe had a trimester
framework that did have limits through the pregnancy.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
The Minnesota law does not have that.
Speaker 7 (10:49):
This puts This puts the decision with the woman in
her hellhire.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
But that's busted on the lie. I mean to me,
it's just flat im moral. He is behaving in a
flat in moral way. He knowingly deliberately lies about that.
But think about how encouraging that is. Why does he
lie about that? He lies about that because he knows
if people knew the truth, they wouldn't vote for him.
So what are they admitting. They're admitting America is not
(11:16):
the pro abortion America they claim it is, or else
they tell the truth about their position. Think about how
significant that is. Yeah, and Shannon Briam did an excellent job.
The only quib I'd have right there is she said, no,
under rowe there were some limits semester framework. No, what
had happened was various decisions had come down that created
(11:38):
a situation were under rowe. You know, there was abortion
right up till birth. But what you've had in states
like Colorado is the legalization through state law of in fantaside.
Now you know, my view, more importantly, the view of
every credible scientist that life believes the conception. So you're
taking the life of an innocent child at every stage
because there will never be just as a matter of science,
(12:01):
that human will never be on the face of the earth. Again,
that's the one and only time you will have that
human that DNA. But certainly every thinking sane person can
agree that you've got a baby there nine months about
to be delivered, the mothers dilated. There's like what a
millimeter or two in location difference between that baby being
(12:23):
inside and outside, and at that point Jared Polis, the
Colorado Democrats, Tim Wallas Kamala Harris say you can dismember
that baby and in Colorado. In fact, they want to
put it in the in the Colorado Constitution. And we'll
talk at five point thirty six with Brittany Vesli about
this insidious Amendment seventy nine, which which would put in
fenocide in the Colorado Constitution. And by the way, tell
(12:44):
you you got to pay for it as a tax payer.
So that is the truth about Harris Walls. But they
know if you know that truth, you won't vote for
good job by Shannon Breen, really good job by Breed,
and then she pinned him down throughout the rest of it.
But this goes to a question I have as well
from a Texter to Da in five seven seven three nine, Dan,
(13:06):
what are your thoughts? In comments we're getting Kamala going
on quote call your Daddy. Supposedly she had one hundred
and seventy thousand views. Djt's recent interviews have four million
to twenty seven million views. That from Alexa, Thank you, Alexa,
tremendous observation. We have some of that sound from Kamala,
who just lies all the time. It's just the location
(13:26):
that changes. And here's one. This is Alexander Cooper and
she does this call your daddy business. I just heard
about it last week because I think, what are you
laughing at? Do you listen to that?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Just call your daddy business?
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Listen to that?
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Absolutely?
Speaker 8 (13:44):
Not?
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Okay, okay? Because I heard she was in town recently,
right it was Alexander Go Yeah, well the yeah, Alexander Cooper.
I think she was doing some sort of live show
in town. That's when I first heard about her. And
I said, what's that? And I and I don't think
she does hey. In fact, that's how it came up.
Caroline said, some buddies were going. I said, what do
you want to do to night? John go to in
(14:04):
and out or some shit. Yeah, some buddies are going
to this thing and I think I may go. I
don't know, and I said, well, I'll go with you.
She said, no, what's it about? But anyway, I learned
that this Alexander Cooper she does a sex show, you know,
where they talk about sex acts and all this other stuff.
And so that's why Caroline I did not go. But anyway,
(14:27):
they said, I don't think she went. I'll check with
her on that, but anyway, that's what she does. So
I think what's so interesting to alexis point is that
Kamala Harris, who is dodging all these other interviews, decided
to go on this show. What does that tell you
She's not confident she has this block locked up. She
(14:49):
had to go on that show knowing the blowback. She
would risk, right, because you're dodging all this other stuff.
You won't do a press conference, but you're going on
a sex show. So she was willing to Where's that
blowback because she's not confident she has that demo, or
at least not enough of that demo. That was the
most interesting thing to me. And then listen to this
(15:10):
daffy exchange here.
Speaker 9 (15:12):
I want to pose this question more to you and
the Daddy gang, But one of the biggest conversations in
this year's election revolves around a woman's body.
Speaker 8 (15:21):
Yep.
Speaker 9 (15:22):
I want to take a moment and can we try
to think of any law that gives the government the
power to make a decision. I know what you're gonna
ask about a man's body.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Let's no, no, is there any law?
Speaker 3 (15:42):
No? No, it's no.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
I think Kamala Harris needs to visit Fort Logan, right, Arlington,
Norman Dy, all these cemeteries full of dead men's bodies,
because the law says, the government can tell you you
have to go to war even if you don't want
to go to war. Let's just start with that. Yeah,
(16:10):
how funny is that? But of course that the obvious
response to that for anybody intellectually honest is these laws
that say, like Georgia Supreme Court restored the heartbeat law
to day, that say you can't kill these girls. You
can't kill them by the hundreds of thousands and millions
(16:33):
before they're born. These laws are about the girl's body,
the girl who's being killed. These laws aren't to control
the body of the woman, of the mother. The laws
are to save the body of the young girl, to
save her from being killed, whether it's at nine months
(16:55):
moments before she's delivered into the world, as Jared Polis
has legalized in Colorado and would ask you to put
in the Colorado Constitution, or whether it's earlier in the
girl's life. The laws are about that body, the innocent
young girl who's about to be killed and lose her
one chance to walk on the face of the earth.
(17:16):
But glad Kamala had a good laugh there. Eight five
five for zero five eight two five five the number
and then you know you won't want to miss this
at four thirty six. It's not exactly an everyday story
or topic. Going to have a gentleman on the show
who was charged a forty dollars cover. I don't think
he paid it. Did he run? Heck no, he was.
(17:36):
They tried to charge him a forty dollars cover to
go into a bar.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
They went across the street instead. It was a group
of three of them.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Yeah, with a Maga hat. So they wanted forty bucks
because he was wearing a maga hat, is what he
tells us. And he'll be with us, Valdemar and will
be with us at four thirty six. Happened to be
a gay bar. I thought, do we have this? It's
hilarious the sound that was posted. Yeah, I'll grab it
like that as well. Yeah, it's absolutely hilarious. So hey,
glad you're here. I'll also have coming up my speaker,
(18:02):
my interview with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who
was in town yesterday. I was supporting Gabe Evans up
in CD eight. I hope you do as well. Gave
a very good candidate, and again control of the House
may turn on CD eight, I spoke with speaker Johnson
at lengths about how your life in Colorado will be
worse if the Democrats get control of the house. You're
(18:22):
on the Dan Capitlas Show.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
You're listening to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast Baby When.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
This is fifty two eighty based Homo coming to you
from fifty two to eighty the mile High City of Denver,
a friend of mine, Chris, the Midwest Homo, and Valdemar.
Where's Valdemar? He's back there sending a text message. As
you can see, I am wearing my May Gay Bars
Gay Again hat along with Chris. Valdemar is wearing of
(18:52):
a dazzled Maga hat. We were just told by the
bouncer at Buddies that are charging a forty dollars cover
for the three of us to get into this bar
when they are not charging anybody else that cover. This
is discrimination in homophobia against gay people who have conservative ideology.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
This is where we're at.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
In the club of inclusivity and tolerance and love and respect.
If you don't go along with their narrative, if you
don't agree with their political views, they are going to
discriminate against you.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Let's make sure that we share.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
This all over social media and blast buddies in Denver
for their discriminatory practices and charging conservative gay people forty
dollars covers that they aren't charging to anybody else. They're lying,
they're discriminating, they're being homophobic, and they're literally disenfranchising members
of their own community. And it's wrong and they need
to be blasted and called out for it.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Wow. Wow, what a story. So Valdemar Archiletta kind enough
to join us. He was one of the three referred
to in that video that's been up on social media
getting lots of attention. Baldemar also, of course, the GOP
candidate running against Diana to get in CD one big
debate tomorrow night. Ryan told me he's going to be
there rooting you on there, Valdemar, So a hero comes along,
(20:10):
my friend. Welcome back to the Dan Kaplis Show.
Speaker 8 (20:13):
Thank you for having me on the show. It's great
to be back with you. Ain't no playing that song
in me all emotional before I talk on the radio.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Hopefully you can you can compose yourself Baldemar for the segment,
but no, I'm glad you guys made this public. Now,
what has Buddies had to say about it? Let me
check my voicemail. I put a call into him when
I saw this story. Let me see if I've heard
back from him. But go ahead, what if they had
to say.
Speaker 8 (20:41):
As far as I know, they haven't said anything. Yeah,
So Saturday we went there. I had never been to
Buddies before, but you know, we thought it would be
a fun place to go. Other people have told us
you've been there, and it was. It was good. So, like,
you know what, we're going to meet here with with ourselves.
Several other of the log Cabin Republicans I'm worth LGBT
(21:05):
Republicans were worked, but they were probably about ten of
us in total. Really, Yeah, and we we had talked about,
you know, wearing more conservative or Republican attire. Technically I'm
the only person who had on Republican attire that night.
I had a Trump jersey on, and, like was mentioned
(21:28):
in the video, my rhinestoned Maga hat, which is fabulous
by the way, I had to make it took me
to two weeks of bluing rhinestones on that hat. And
so you're a dazzler, I am not that is the
first time I ever did. It was probably the last.
(21:50):
But I love a hat, and so I had that
hat on. But Chris and Rich had make gay Bars
Gay Again hat, So from a distance you don't read them,
it looks like they're wearing mega hats. The three of
us walking together, the other guys were already in the bar,
and so we go in. I kind of go up
(22:11):
to the podium where there's a guy sitting there and
I give him my ID. He shuts our IDs, and
then he said there's a forty dollars cover to get
in tonight, which I thought was a joke. So I
think I laughed and.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
Did they usually have a cover?
Speaker 8 (22:28):
I don't know. They're not a very big bar, so
I don't see why they would have a forty dollars cover.
They the guys, he looked very serious, like he looked,
you know, he was serious about it. And then another
guy walked over from the back and kind of like
just stood behind him and they kind of glared us
down and say, no, there's a forty dollars cover to
(22:50):
get in.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Were they charging other people to cover?
Speaker 2 (22:54):
They were not.
Speaker 8 (22:55):
At this point, we didn't really know that. We didn't
because I don't. We were kind of shocked at you
forty dollars cover, like what's happening? You know, We're like,
all right, well, let's we may want to go somewhere else.
So the three of us went outside, and I did
see that one of our other members was across the room,
so then you know, we were talking, and I mean
we asked other people as they were coming out if
(23:17):
they had to pay a forty dollars cover, and everyone
was saying no. Then some of the other members of
blog Cabin Republicans were in there, came out and asked
us what was happening and if they wouldn't let us in,
and we told them what was going on, and they
didn't have to pay a forty dollars cover to get in.
And we were asking other people as they were going in,
like if they ask you to pay a forty dollars cover,
(23:38):
come out and let us know. And nobody said they
were asking them to pay a forty dollars cover to
get in, so we believe it was just us, the
three of us were the only ones they were asking
to pay that much to inside. At which point, you know,
that's when Rich made the video and you know he's
rich and the wrong gay man to get mad boy.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
I can tell, yeah, I can.
Speaker 8 (24:03):
Tell with the wrong gay man. Yeah yeah, now yeah,
that video is just kind of gone all over the internet.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Now yeah, how many views so far?
Speaker 8 (24:14):
I'm not sure. It's a lot, it's a lot.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Yeah. And you know Valdemar Archiletta our guest running in
CD one against Diana to Get. Where's this big debate tomorrow?
Speaker 8 (24:25):
It's going to be on Channel eights and they're recording
it tomorrow. But I don't get airs tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
Okay, Well, the good news is the great news is
we know Diana to Get is still with us. I
mean I haven't been aware of a sighting in a
year or two. Well, I guess that's right. I'm just
an optimistic guy. But I'm expecting her to show up tonight,
which will be great news that she's with us, bad
(24:51):
news that she's with us as a sitting in congress person.
Speaker 8 (24:55):
I've only seen her once in this whole in this
whole campaign, they were both out. Uh no, I've seen
her twice. I saw her at Chinese New Year's Okay, okay,
if I saw her in June, So this will be
the third time I see her in the campaign. Yeah,
but it'll be good. I'm I'm excited to.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Be able to do this, and.
Speaker 8 (25:19):
Yeah, hopefully, you know, we'll have a good conversation and
the people of Denver will be able to watch it
and make an educated choice as yeah, they feel represents them.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
And it's Archie letter for Colorado dot Com. I only
read that Fallow Marcus' have a little trouble with your
cell connection. But as compelling as you are, nobody's going
to listen if there's a bad self connection. But but
now that the big news, because I'm sure a lot
of people listening have had the same experience where they
either have not worn their mega hat or they've worn
it and taken abuse. But are you going to continue
(25:52):
to wear it? Will we see it in the debate
tomorrow night?
Speaker 8 (25:55):
I will not.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Oh see, they censored them. They cut of his cell
the gut right there. Yeah, I think Valdemar is telling us, oh, yeah,
so you're not wearing the hat tomorrow night, which, yeah,
it'd probably be impolite indoors.
Speaker 8 (26:11):
I will say, and I hope you can hear me.
I'm sorry to confect next is not good, but we
went across the street to the X Bar, which is
a gay bar, and they let us in and they
had any problem with us. Everyone was nice to us.
You know, people did come up and pass about it,
and we met people that are in anil Harris tire.
(26:31):
We still we were able to have civil conversations with people,
and you know, I have that please. I think it's
a rare the most. Yeah, they are not going to
do that too, because I've also worn that same hat
other places around town, and yeah, I have a problem
with it.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
So and Valdemar, thank you so much for joining us.
I'm sorry we have a bad sell connection, but appreciate
you filling us in on the story here. And I'd
love to get Baltimore back shortly. We can talk him
about the debate and then I want to ask him.
Remember we were covering the story last week Denver Post
reporting there's only one lesbian bar in Colorado and it's
about to close. I want to find out for Valdemar
(27:10):
for he has any insight on how does Colorado only
have one lesbian bar and why is it closing? I
have a theory, but I'd love to see if Valdemar
has some insight on that anyway, Glad you're with us,
say five five or zero five A two five five
the number text d an five seven, seventh, three nine.
We're covering a lot of ground and I'm going to
have my be able to try to get it. In
(27:31):
the next segment, my interview with Speaker of the House
Mike Johnson, who was in Colorado yesterday supporting Gabe Evans
and CD eight, I hope you think seriously about doing
that as well, really good candidate in a race we
need to win. And I asked him about the importance
to you, whether you're Democrat, Republican, whatever, of Gabe winning
(27:52):
CD eight in very concrete terms. I also asked him
about the Speaker's belief that God saved Donald Trump from
that assassin's bullet Pensylvania, belief I share, and he spoke
very eloquently to that. You're on the Dan Kapla.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Show and now back to the Dan Kaplis Show podcast.
Speaker 10 (28:10):
One of the reasons, besides the side that this is
of such an interest to Trump and the Republicans, there's
a trend here. You're looking at the Trump era, You're
looking at party registration in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
And look at this.
Speaker 10 (28:21):
When Donald Trump first came on the scene. You know,
back in twenty sixteen, the Democratic advantage in party registration
in Pennsylvania was over nine hundred thousand votes twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Look now in twenty twenty four, that's.
Speaker 10 (28:33):
Been cut almost in two thirds there, down to about
three hundred and thirty thousand. There's been a little bit
of a boost for Democrats since Kamala Harris took over
in registration, but the big picture trend here has been
more competitive for Republicans in party registration. So where are
we looking in Pennsylvania. What's going to decide this state? Well,
believe it or not, in the Trump era, there are
(28:53):
only ten counties in the entire state where Democrats perform
better now than they did before Trump came along. However,
some of these counties are very big.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Focus on these four collars.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, then it gets into the breakdown. But the point
is obviously voter registration in Pennsylvania, which is likely to
decide the election unless it just breaks enormously for Trump,
which it could as we've been talking about. But that
voter registration in Pennsylvania trending very well to Republicans, and
I believe still an edge right now, meaning that Democrats
(29:25):
are down. I don't mean a gross edge, but Democrats
are down and the early mail in balloting and Republicans
are way up. So our Republicans cannibalizing election day turnout
to some extent probably, But here's the thing. We all
know right that if in twenty twenty the GOP had
put the focus on early voting, Trump wins that race.
Speaker 8 (29:47):
Right.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
It was a tactical error to say vote on election
day because there's leakage. You know, people get busy, this happens,
that happens a failure in a polling place. But getting
out this early vote can only help the GOP. So
very glad to see the President emphasizing that. We do
have some very compelling sound from the President. On Saturday
(30:07):
night in Pennsylvania will be getting that. The five o'clock
hour will also be playing My interview with Speaker of
the House Mike Johnson, who was in town yesterday to
support Gave Evans and CD eight. Had a great conversation.
Really cool guy, super super smart guy, and we got
into okay, your life in Colorado concretely, how will it
(30:30):
be worse? If Democrats get control of the House and
CDA could determine that, the speaker said, it will determine that,
but it certainly could. And then I asked the speaker
about his belief, which I shared that President Trump was
saved by God, spared by God from that assassin's bullet
in Pennsylvania. Get into a really deep, great conversation. So
(30:51):
all of that coming up in the five o'clock hour,
eight five five were zero five eight two five five
the number of so much of the great sound today
Kamala Harris going on CBS right sixty minutes she's recorded
this interview. It will air tonight and I can't wait.
You know, some of the early bites that were getting
(31:13):
giving us a taste. But then you wonder, because CBS
obviously wants her to win, right, I mean, look at
the way they tried to rig that thing against jd
Vance until he flipped it on him. You got to
wonder what they left on the cutting room floor as well.
But so far, we see some you know, we see
some good questioning, including they're rarely scene with Kamala Harris
(31:33):
follow up questioning. But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyah,
who is not listening well. Bill.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
The work that we have done has resulted in a
number of movements in that region by Israel that were
very much prompted by or a result of many things,
including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Wow, I mean, good Lord. But yeah, her mind just
doesn't work the way you need a president's mind.
Speaker 2 (32:10):
To work well. Which their mind just doesn't work well.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
I mean, it doesn't work the way it needs to
to be president. No matter which party you're from. We've
seen some Democrat presidents who had terrible ideas, very bad
for the nation, who were who had tremendous intellectual capacity.
I mean Barack Obama was intellectually brilliant. He just had
all these terrible far left ideas that were bad for America.
Speaker 5 (32:35):
I would even say Dan thirty years ago, when Joe
Biden was advocating his own crime bill, when he would
speak extemporaneously. He was no mental giant, but he was
mediocre and he could get through a speech like that.
She cannot, she can't ye now, and she's of sound mind.
We think, Yeah, he sounds sexist. You compare her intellect
(32:56):
Dan to that of Hillary Clinton and it's night and day.
It's that's a great example.
Speaker 10 (33:01):
Right.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
No, No, Hillary Clinton, all these offul ideas would have
been a terrible president. But Hillary Clinton has a very
high IQ, a lot of mental capacity. She just did
it to do bad things and advance bad ideas. But yes,
a lot of intellectual horsepower with Hillary Clinton. Just yes,
with Kamala Harris, you have even worse ideas, but without
(33:24):
that same intellectual horsepower as Hillary Clinton. Dan, I saw
a yard sign in my neighborhood that said vote like
your daughter's life depends on it, and so I wanted
to leave a sign that read, yes, half of all
abortions is somebody's daughter. No one on the pro abortion
side seems to talk about that aspect of abortion. They
won't even use the word abortion anymore because now so
many people have seen ultrasounds. They know abortion is the
(33:45):
taking of an innocent human life. So they have to
come up with this euphemism reproductive rights, right, I mean yeah,
When they can't even use the word abortion anymore, that
tells you we shouldn't have it, Dan. The government never
tells men what must they do with their bodies. Vaccine
mandates that goes to this amazing sound. So Kamala Harris
(34:07):
going on this sex show, call her daddy and had
this to say.
Speaker 9 (34:13):
I want to pose this question more to you and
the Daddy gang, but one of the biggest conversations in
this year's election revolves around a woman's body.
Speaker 8 (34:22):
M yep.
Speaker 9 (34:23):
I want to take a moment and can we try
to think of any law that gives the government the
power to make a decision. I know what you're gonna
ask about a man's body, Let's know.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Yeah, it was so funny, right, all those men in
all those graves at Fort Logan, Arlington, Norman Dy. Government
got to make decisions about third body. You have to
go to war where you want to or not. Our
Texter's great point the vaccine mandates. Harris was having people fired,
men fired all over the country for not having the
vaccine mandate. My interview with the Speaker of Next
