President Trump hints very strongly that the ultimatum of 'unconditional surrender' for Iran's ayatollah is a final warning - the ultimate 'last call' before the coup de grace is delivered for the country's nuclear reserves.

Erin Lee, executive director of Protect Kids Colorado and parent of a daughter who suffered (and recovered) from gender dysphoria, joins Dan to discuss the landmark 6-3 decision by the Supreme Court of the United States upholding Tennessee's legislative ban on transgender procedures and drugs for minors. What effect will this have nationwide, including here in Colorado?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Just fighting. We're winning, and you know that's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Two three out three someone three eight two five five
The number text d A N five seven seven three
nine is certainly a lot more fun.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Than the alternative.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
A big win today in the US Supreme Court, very
well reasoned decision and the concurrence by Justice Barrett absolutely instant, classic, brilliant,
and this decision upholding the right of the State of
Tennessee to protect its miners from, you know, chopping off
of body parts, chemically altering their body for life under

(00:50):
the guise of transgender care. And then the State of Tennessee,
like many states right now, saying you're not going to
do that to our kids if they want to do
it when they become adults, say they have that right
as adult, and the Supreme Court saying, yeah, hey, wait
a second, this isn't a classification based on sex. This
is a classification based on age. This is a classification
based on type of medical care. So all the state

(01:13):
has to show is a rational basis for the law.
And then Justice Barrett just nailed it when she then
got to an issue that the majority, the six' to
three majority did not touch, today which, is, hey wait a,
second is transgender status entitled to special protection under the?

(01:34):
Law is it a suspect class the same way that
race or sex would. Be And Justice barrett says absolutely. Not,
now the majority didn't go that, far but the reasoning
behind her concurrence is so rock. SOLID i can't imagine
any sane court in the future varying from. That SO
i do want to deep dive that with you BECAUSE

(01:55):
i think it's. FASCINATING i think you'll think it's, fascinating
and you're probably not going to get there at that
anywhere else unless you have the time to just pull
the decision down tonight and take a look at, it
WHICH i think you would thoroughly. Enjoy three all three
seven to one THREE a two, five, five the number
techs d an five, seven seventh. Through now we're going
to talk about the latest In iran as. Well play
some fascinating sound As Tucker carlson goes After Ted.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Cruz we touched on it in the.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Last, segment but then we'll we'll do some look ahead
On iran and what is it going to be like
if that regime does? Fall, well what is it going
to be like In? Iran it's so fun to think
about the possibilities and this seminal. Question you, know do
you think THE, us if, necessary If israel can't do
it on its, own and it's done so much so,
well but it simply may not have the munitions to

(02:42):
be able to get to and completely collapse forward. Them
it may not be able to get to some of
these most deeply bunkered nuclear enrichment. Facilities so should THE,
us if, necessary go in and do?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
That?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
NOW i think we know a timeframe, now Right, ryan
because we just it just suck That trump has said the,
Administration i'm not sure The president will do it, directly
has set a briefing of The Full senate On iran
for Next. Tuesday, oh SO i think we can be
very very confident that if THE us is going to
go in via, air going to go in and take

(03:18):
out those deep bunkered, facilities that it will be Before.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Tuesday who showed more animosity Towards Senator Ted, Cruz Tucker
carlson in that exchange that you just, heard Or Michael
bennett on the floor of The. Senate we got really.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Upset, YEAH i Think tucker did it more. Coherently, oh
by the, way do you see that polling that came
out respected polster on the left in the governor's race,
now and it just confirmed everything we've been.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
SAYING i mean that you, Know bennett's just running away with.
It i'll go but grab the. Numbers but it was
something like sixty five thirty five or seventy.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Thirty dan on a scale of one to ten.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Against wiser against one right on.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
A scale one to. Ten how much would you like
to Debate Michael? Bennett?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Oh who. Wouldn't, YEAH i don't mean that in the pejorative.
RIGHT i mean.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Every single person who's who's announced for ANY gop race
would would mop the floor With Michael bennett because again he, yeah,
first he can't defend his. Positions do you think it even?
DEBATE i know it would. Have he would probably do
what all These democrats do right now is say they'll

(04:25):
debate as long as it's one person At channel, nine
who's the, moderator because then they're essentially part of The democrats.
Team and one of the really impressive things About Gabe,
evans remember when he Debated caraveo in that razor thin,
race and you, know THE kusa moderator came out of

(04:45):
the gate really hot at, him And gabe handled it so,
beautifully and we talked about it on the. Show we
played some of that sound AND i think that was
a very important moment in that, race not only right
on the, issues but has the right stuff for that,
job which is one Reason i'm headed for, here and
you know, me Because i'm up so.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Early in the morning.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Working i'm NORMALLY i go, home have dinner with my,
wife get some work, done go to, bed get up super.
Early but, tonight varying the, Schedule i'm gonna head off
to A Gabe evan's. Fundraise i'm Sure gab will appreciate,
that especially IF i stay.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
AWAKE i hope you.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
DO i, Mean i'm great at like two in the
morning on BUT i had eight o'clock at night and
the body says time for a few hours.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
SLEEP i was gonna, say you got to get some.
Sleep somewhere like do you just crash on the weekends
or what happens with?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
You?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Man you, know it's, fascinating And i'm so grateful for
this gift because everybody has their own strengths and, weaknesses
AND i just don't need that much. Sleep you're Like
President trump, Often i'm better without the diet. Coke i'd
love to meet him someday for a lot of. Reasons
but one is, task is it really just the diet
coke or do you have something else going on? There
because that's like supernatural. Stuff BUT i was telling you

(05:53):
two three nights, ago for some, REASON i got a
full night's sleep AND i was wiped out the next.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Day you, know your body just gets it's used to.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
It And i'm sure a lot of people listening can
relate because it's the same in their lives right now
for whatever reason there.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Is for, me it's. Trials it's too much.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Sleep you oversleep and then you're kind of like out of.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
It, yeah and if your body's used to a certain,
number right and everybody has their own stuff in, life
maybe a newborn, baby you, know a certain kind of.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Job for, me it's.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Trials you, know you get used to kind of a
minimal amount of, sleep and then you get a full
night sleep and it's, like, Oh i'm.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Pete but, hey before we go To kathy from you,
go what do you think of the?

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Hat it's a black bart vibe That i'm getting right.
Now AND i Think kelly took a couple of.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Photos oh, yeah, yeah don't post.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Them, well not, yet but if you approve of, them
we're gonna put them out.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
There yeah, No i'll never. Approve, well what do you,
mean it's just too self.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Serving, no we're doing.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
That that's what we're talking.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
About two of the most wonderful friends in the, World
pam And johnny and clients as, well came by today
and brought some, gifts including this black cowboy hat made
by the same person who Makes Coach primes. Hat it's
an identical ad if you look, closely it even has
to see you little See you buffalo kind of branded
in the, back and many people have said it's it's.

(07:10):
Transformative but a man can't sit on his own, Jury
so we'll leave it at. That kathy and you. Go
here we go on The Dan Kapla. Show how you doing?

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Good? DAN i enjoyed your show so much and listen
to you and talk to the radio and all kinds of.
STUFF i wish that the ads for your show were
about pride months for, veterans not being.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Pride, yeah we don't control the ads in the, show,
Obviously but.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
One quick question For. Kathy, kathy how do you listen
to the? Program do you listen online through the app
or on the website or over the air on the.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Radio on the, radio BECAUSE i get off work At,
force SO i hurry right out start my car SO
i can listen in the.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
CAR i appreciate your, cue hustle on your effort, there
but over the air radio, dance. Right we don't control
out of the content of those.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Ads, yeah, YEAH i am all for Having probably Not.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I'm all for having at least a month for veterans
and least a month FOR i am.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Too, YEAH i to my husband gave his life In.
Vietnam veterans and the whole we need to appreciate our military.
More and if you listen to the, ad it's about
A mexican restaurant and it's it is an offensive.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Ad i'll listen for.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
IT i have not heard Of, cassy but can you
tell us more about your, Husband.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Tell him. More he was In saiku and the Big red,
one First Infantry division sixty nine seventy and when it came,
home it committed.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Suicide i'm so, sorry so thank, you so.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
Sorry it, well we need, More we need more for, veterans.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Oh, lords lord. KNOWS i mean those suicide.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Rates are off the, charts, yes and you, know never
never having, SERVED i can't even. Imagine BUT i have
to imagine if somebody's out there and they're seeing the
things you see in, combat and they're doing the things
that you do to serve your country in, combat the
transition to everyday life has to be incredibly.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
Hard it, is and they do more now to help
veterans make that. Transition but in the, seventies sixties and, seventies.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
It just didn't, Exist, no not at.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
All you do a much better job.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Now and the veterans were subject to such abuse often
when they came back From, vietnam AND i think now
they're very appreciated and, honored as they should.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Be but, Well i'm so. SORRY i for you're, lost
and appreciate very much your hosting's. Service thank, you thank.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
You who's a good.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Guy, yeah OH i am. Sure, well thank you kat
that you take. Care i'll do, it thank.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, wow man.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
And the gentleman talking about he and his wife gave
me the head. Today our friend and, Client, johnny served In,
vietnam AND i wonder how Many vietnam combat vets are.
LEFT i wonder what that number.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
Is most in their seventies right, now you would.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Think so and and younger than seventy year olds used
to be, right three or three someone three, eight, two,
five five of the. Number, hey when we come, BACK
i want to do a lot of different. Things update
you On. Iran, Yeah President trump now SAYING i, MEAN
i think, confirming but saying only THE us is capable
of taking out the Key iranian nuclear. Site i'm reading

(10:50):
a headline that's just popping up right, now And i'm
sure he's referring To. Farto but we'll come back and
we'll confirm that that's the. One as everybody, knows deep,
deep deep into a. Mountain IF i remember, it it's
about one hundred miles From, tehran so you, know about
the same distance As denver To. Vail but, yeah once,

(11:11):
Once President trump says, that can you imagine a scenario
where THE us does not do. That he also saying
now that he's given The iatola the ultimate, ultimatum so
it doesn't get any more ultimatum than. That you're on
The Dame Kaplas.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Show and now back to The Dan Taplas show. Podcast,
yeah that's are.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
You a cowboy.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
People's?

Speaker 5 (11:38):
SUGGESTION i know a lot of people from around From New,
york From, washington mostly From New.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
York they are incredible. People they're, smart they're.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Energetic they can't be, difficult but so can.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
You you, KNOW i, know they're great. People they're smart,
people and those.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
People are getting healthy out of them, now and it's really, ashamed.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
So, stupid it's so. STUPID i think that's.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
A very fair characterization of The iranian, people isn't. IT i,
mean The iranians you've, KNOWN i, known they're just very,
impressive very. Impressive, obviously you, know you had this Radical
islamic regime take the people Of iran essentially. Captive i'm
not saying there hasn't been, support some support for that

(12:23):
for The iotolas In, iran particularly back in the earlier.
Days but what do you think if there was a,
true honest, poll they could be taken In, iran which
there can't be because you know you're talking to the
polster at the point of a. Gun, well what do
you think that people Of iran would.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Want it's probably reflective of what The american people have
told us about the nuclear arming Of iran and whether
they feel it's a danger or. Not i'm not. Sure
it's in the seventy to eighty percent. Range it would
prefer not to be under the yoke of The iatolas
and The. Mullahs and where this all turns, down and
this is the, case it was the case in The
Soviet union when it collapsed Aes, well it's where The
Iranian Revolutionary guard, stands and they have been lockstep with

(13:01):
the current, regime unwilling to turn against, them and until
learn less that. CHANGES i don't know that there was
a tipping point other than flushing them full out with
a full aerial attack that decimates their nuclear capabilities and
takes out The ayatola as.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Well and chicken and egg thing, right BECAUSE i, MEAN
i think the only time that The Republican guard folds
is if it's clear the people now that the people
are about to turn against the administration and take it
to the streets three or three, seven three eight two
five five text D an five seven seven three. Nine
can't really call that an, administration, RIGHT i, mean these

(13:35):
are terrorists holding ninety million people hostage essentially In, iran
just Like americans were held hostage by The Radical ISLAMIST
i want to get to the phone line's First, Texter
Dan Gabe evans would make a fantastic, governor he sure,
would but pretty darn sure he's running For congress, again
Because i'm going to a fundraiser form tonight and it's For.
CONGRESS i, Think, dan you should listen to the first

(13:58):
hour Of Alex jones today and see if you hold
the same position on this quote little action we are
about to take it. Around i've never used that. Word
you can be sure That i've never used that, word
AND i never would any time you're sending even One
american men or women into a battle. Zone it's not
a little. Action so you'll never hear me use that.
Word All i've said is clearly there is unquestionably a

(14:22):
very significant national security interest for this nation and making
sure The radical Islam as to Control lauran right now
don't have nuclear weapons and because of our great Ally
israel and other, events it appears from the outside as
if we're very close to that. Happening and if the
one remaining step And President trump said publicly today That

(14:45):
israel is not capable of taking out these final bunkerd enrichment,
facilities if it's that one remaining step that needs to be,
Taken i'd love to hear from you on. This would
you Support, America american men and women taking that? Step
all in the, air not on the, ground but would
you support. That let's go To joe In. Lakewood you're
on The Dan kaplis.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Show. Welcome.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Hey, YEAH i was gonna mention on THAT pts, THING
ptsd thing with that lady called in that her husband
tragically after we FIRST i wanted to, say you were
talking about how Good ryanian people, are Well trump Was
and some time AGO i was at a party and
there was a guy with a heavy accent and somebody
asked to worry for me From, iran and you, know
we got talking and somebody asked him and, said, so

(15:29):
how'd you get out Of? Iran and he's All iran.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
That's original but.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Good, YEAH i like. That and they have a great
sense of.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Humor, yeah, exactly exactly THE ptsd. THING i read a
book from A marine captain that was In vietnam and
he had SOME ptsd and of course The shoda, media you,
know the people he served, with and he had a
theory that he wished they would Study vietnam from then.
On was the first war where a soldier or marine

(16:01):
could be on a battlefield and twenty four thirty six
hours later he's On american. Soil in the. Past you,
know they're on a boat for four to six week
with you, know no. People that just went through the whole.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Thing, yeah, Sense, wow what a great, Point, Joe thank
you for.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
That what you, KNOW i want to ask maybe we
can get on air that the great great guy In,
colorado a tremendous psychiatrist guy Named Gary gutterman who's treated
a lot of. That's in, FACT i think he was
involved in treating returning POWs from them FOR. Ptsd get
his take on. That that makes perfect. SENSE i was
talking to a, friend A navy seal and in one

(16:38):
of those really well All navy seals right are in those,
positions but he was really in one of those, positions
and he would talk about That, ryan how he might
start the. Day he might start the day on a
mission in The Mid, east and then he might be
within twenty four hours standing in the ice cream store
with his. Kids, yeah and and and what that adjustment, Was,

(17:02):
like that's a great. Point, yeah because they would work
out Of, virginia, Right so how long would that flight,
be you, know, say over to one of those hot
zones A rock Or. Afghanistan and so within that same
twenty four hour, period you go from taking out Some
Al qaeda right to being in the.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Hagendas. YEAH i can't even imagine what that does to your.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Mind two quick points On. Trump we know that he
exhausted every conceivable diplomatic end to make a deal and
avoid a military. Conflict they', ron so that's on the.
Table and then Also trump is very hesitant to put
any of our troops at harm's, way and SO i
trust him with that decision on that.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Basis when you hear some, say, well it's become too
personal since it's probably around that tried to kill, HIM
i don't believe that for a. Second of course he's
not going to have that out of his. Mind but,
no he he's been a piece through, strength, Guy but
he also understands to be an effective piece through, Strength,
guy you have to use the strength when the enemy
has giving you the double middle.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Finger here on The Dan.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Camplush you're listening to The Dan Kaplish show.

Speaker 6 (18:12):
Podcast it's been fighting for kids for a long long time,
now and.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
To THE Us Supreme court helping out quite a bit today, saying,
No state Of, tennessee you can have your own laws
protecting kids from having body parts chopped off and chemically
altered stuff that can never be. Reversed if they want
to do it when they're, adults say so be. It
but you can protect them when they're. Kids so we've
been deep diving that. Opinion it's fascinating in the concurrence

(18:38):
By Justice, barrett absolutely. Brilliant but let's go To Aaron,
lee who is in the trenches every day trying to protect. Children,
AARON i don't know if you've had a chance to
read this decision, yet but what are your thoughts on?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
It?

Speaker 7 (18:51):
Hey, Dan i'm about halfway, through SO i haven't made
it to bear it's concurrence, yet but obviously super delighted
by this. Decision i'm not. Surprised, no one should be
surprised that this is not deemed unconstitutional to protect children
from irreversible medical. Harm you, know twenty seven states have banned,
this and this is great news that all of those

(19:12):
laws can be, upheld and then that paves the way
for states LIKE us to continue to pass these protections for.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Kids, yeah AND i have a number of texts AND
i will get to them from people, saying, well what's
the effect then On colorado's? Laws you, know that goes
so far out of the way to try to attract transgender,
kids to confuse kids To colorado to have these. Procedures
and it does not Affect colorado at, all because what it,
says it doesn't say you can't do this stuff to.

(19:40):
Kids it says the state can pass laws on. It
and some states pass good, laws Like, tennessee and some
states pass bad laws Like.

Speaker 7 (19:49):
Colorado's, right we've done the exact opposite right the law
THAT shermani. Defended but we're trying to change, that as you,
know we're through protect. Kids colorad running a ballot initiative
that would ban these irreversable sex change procedures for. Minors
and what this decision does is a firm that when
we pass, that by the will of the people In,

(20:10):
colorado it will be.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Upheld, yeah and that's, boy that's got to help your,
campaign right.

Speaker 7 (20:16):
Absolutely and you, know as you, know we're only tappling
the surgeries this time, Around colorado has just about the
most extreme views on. This but that being, Said colorado's
are still ready to protect kids from these. Procedures our
polling shows that they're more than ready to vote against these.
Surgeries once that, happens the dominoes will fall, Here, aaronly.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Our guests protect kids Of, colorado AND i want to
make sure people get the infoo contact and help this.
Campaign BUT i was just going to ask you about
polling BECAUSE i was guessing maybe there isn't enough funding
to do polling at this. Point my gut is that
at this point there'd be strong support and then the
opposition is going to put millions into trying to continue. This,
Right so what does the polling show right?

Speaker 4 (20:59):
Now are not.

Speaker 7 (21:01):
As high as the national average on these? Issues you,
Know New York times even put out that it's an
eighty twenty issue amongst all. Voters and that's both for
The New York times to admit that we're not quite,
there we're more in the seventy percent favorability, range but
that certainly indicates that we will win at the. Ballot
and AS i, said you, know that's just the first,
domino and then we'll tackle the puberty blockers and in my,

(21:23):
hope social. Transition my child was socially transition AND i
understand that that's the gateway to these medical procedures and
does great psychological, damage and so we've got to look
forward at tackling that as well.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Well and socially.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Transitioned i'd love for you to mention what happened to
your daughter if you don't mind you're and for those
new to the, show but the WAY i look at
it broadly is this socially transitioned IS i look at
it is people out there trying to take kids away
from their.

Speaker 7 (21:52):
Parents, yeah it's selling the lie to a child that
they were born in the wrong, body that there's something
physically wrong with them that needs to be. Changed and
my daughter was secretly transitioned at twelve years old in
a secret gender IN secx club at, school where they
taught her how to pursue puberty, blockers how to see
a gender affirming, therapist how to get a gender affirming

(22:12):
care letter written without my knowledge or. Consent and unfortunately
we live in a state where those things can. Happen
twelve year olds steward their own. Healthcare it's illegal for
a counselor not to affirm a child's gender. Confusion and
then we have all of these trends WHAT i call
child mutilation sanctuary laws that protect the doctors and protect
everyone involved in pushing kids down this path of. Medicalization

(22:36):
and that's always the end. Goal AND i should point
out that The Colorado medicaid website recommends puberty blockers at
panner stage.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Two which is eight eight here in the state Of.

Speaker 7 (22:47):
Colorado and if kids go on those puberty, blockers they
are ninety eight percent likely to go onto the cross sex.
Foremones and if they do puberty blockers into cross sex,
hormones they are one hundred percent guaranteed to be rendered.
Sterilized oh, my they will not be able to have.
Children these are not reversible. Procedures and you, KNOW i
hate the word gender. Affirming here backwards gender. Nonsense this

(23:11):
is not. Care these are irreversible sex change.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Procedures and you're not affirming anybody's, gender you're contradicting their true,
gender and you're, surgically you're chemically altering their true.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Gender so it are, impossible, right.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Right, Right and SO i should say you're right more
precisely the. Physiology but but let me ask you, This,
aaron what do you think the motive is behind? This
because when you hear all these things, described my operating
presumption is that these are people who don't care at
all about these, children and they're using them as political.
PAWNS i don't understand how people who truly cared about

(23:51):
these children would would do all these.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
THINGS i think we'll look back at this like we
do front full of. Botomies only way were. That you,
know at the, time the medical industry was selling that
this is a necessary, procedure and people got on board
with it because that's what the experts told them to.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Do, Well Joe kennedy's daughter had one, right, right.

Speaker 7 (24:13):
RIGHT i think most people's empathy has been weaponized in
the case of gender mutilation of. Children we are all
sold to. Suicide myth that you AND i have talked
about that if you don't transition a, child they will
kill themselves and that was the argument at The Supreme.
Court here in this From any, case which was debunked
on the, Spot Chase strangeo admitted that there's no proof
that mental health is improved by these physical procedures being

(24:35):
done to. Kids BUT i just think most people's empathy
has been. Weaponized they've been led to believe this is the, kind,
right good thing to. Do and we need a severe
culture wake, up and this is a big step in
the process of waking people up to the harms of these.
PROCEDURES i think people just don't understand, them and we
have a lot of work to do to educate on

(24:56):
how harmful they are and irreversible to.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Kids well, said how can will help.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
You so protect Kids colorado dot.

Speaker 7 (25:04):
Org we're going to need about two hundred thousand signatures per.
Issue we have three stopping sex, trafficking boys and, girls,
sports and then these surgery. Procedures so we need volunteers
and we need funding to make sure that we make
it onto the ballot that we. Win with the messaging
in the twenty twenty sixth election, cycle well, erin.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Thank you so. MUCH i hope you join us often
and keep fighting a good.

Speaker 7 (25:24):
Fight thanks for having Me, dan.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Thank you take care of, that Is Aaron. Lee so, well,
yeah let's.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Hope and you know the other, side, right they'll throw
any amount of money they have to.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Edit what do you think their true motives?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Are ryan on the other, Side, Listen i'm sure you
KNOW i know some kids who are going through this
kind of.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Confusion.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
PERSONALLY i think a lot of them is pushed on
them by you, know modern society, culture those with the
vested interest in peddeling this this kind of. Confusion but
these are still real kids in real mental and emotional,
pain and real families in pain and real. Issues so
and right, exactly and a very destructive. Remedy i'm not

(26:13):
saying that these aren't, big big. Problems i'm just saying
that right. Way but what do you think the true
motive is behind the so called? Remedies do you think
it's just the dollar motive of the. INDUSTRY i don't
think it could be just, that because because you've got
the left so committed to, THIS i, mean right, now

(26:33):
the left is more committed to the alleged right to
chop up these kids chemically alter these kids more committed
to trans rights than they are to rights For African.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Americans, hispanics et.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Cetera and it's one of the reasons that The democrats
are losing ground with With African, Americans, hispanics et.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
Cetera but what do you think the motive for that.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
Is complete and total, Science, Nile perhaps in the pursuit
of this as a, religion because to put it, bluntly
you can't put diesel in a gasoline.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Engine you, KNOW i not, twice BUT i think it's,
YEAH i Think ryan.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
An offshoot of.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
That for, ME i believe that that what's been behind
this big push because it makes no, sense, Right it
makes no, sensematically, logically even. Politically it just got him
crushed in twenty. Four BUT i think the big payoff
for the, left if they could pull this, off is
to separate people from the, truth separate people from their,

(27:36):
faith and condition society to being willing to bend the
knee to being willing to lie in order to avoid being.
Canceled because behind, this when you look at the left,
politically it's all about And. Colorado they're even passing laws
that criminalize telling the truth because if you tell the
truth and you, say oh, no that's a, man not a.

(27:59):
Woman now under One colorado, law your business might, face you,
know a type of. Prosecution SO i think it's been
this bigger goal from the left of trying to Get
americans to reach that point where they're willing to lie
to get, along because once the left can separate you
from the, truth separate you from your, faith then the

(28:20):
left can actually go get the bigger things they. Want
you're on The Dan Kapla show.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
And now back to The Dan Taplas show.

Speaker 6 (28:28):
Podcast, well glad you're with us five point fifty two
on this beautiful, afternoon and we've been bouncing back and
forth mainly between this really IMPORTANT Us Supreme court decision
today upholding the state Of tennessee's law protecting minors protecting
kids against getting body parts chopped off and being chemically altered.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Through puberty, blockers et.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Cetera and adults can still do, it but The Supreme
court say, no if a state wants to pass a
lot of protect kids like, that they can do it
and it is. Constitutional so very important. Decision and THEN
i think maybe the best part of this decision is
the concurrence authored By Justice barrett where she, said, hey
let me get to an issue that the majority didn't

(29:09):
get to today and just say. It transgender individuals do
not constitute a suspect. Class and she just laid this
out so. PERFECTLY i think it will be very difficult
for any future, court at least one that's interested in
interpreting The, constitution to vary from. This she just makes

(29:32):
a killer. Case AND i deeped oved earlier in the.
Show if you get a, chance you want to read it,
tonight but let me give you a quick taste of.
It and here's part of what she said The Sixth,
circuit how the transgender individuals do not constitute a suspect
class and it was right to do. So to, begin
transgender status is not marked by the same sort of, obvious,

(29:54):
immutable or distinguishing characteristics as race or Se in, particular
it is not defined by a trait that is definitely
ascertainable at the moment of, birth and then it goes
on from. There and here's why it, matters, because as
you probably, know if you've got a race or sex based, discrimination,

(30:18):
well that kind of law is almost never going to
be upheld because it has to pass these high levels of.
Scrutiny and whereas if you don't have race or sex based.
Discrimination then you can get to get a law that's
simply approved because there's a rational basis for. It so
you have this movement on the left to try to

(30:38):
get transgender individuals considered a suspect, class And Justice barrett
just lays out AND i just give you a, taste,
right just lays out the case for, why no matter
where you are on trans, rights there you're talking about
a legislative. Process she's making out the killer case for
why it would be a joke to try to argue

(30:59):
the transgender individuals are entitled to suspect class status as
a matter of. Law three all three seveone three eight
two five five the number text d an five seven
seven three. Nine so listen to a state Of colorado
that passes a bunch of bad laws encouraging this kind
of mutilation of kids and trying to attract people here
to have kids mutilated. Here those kind of laws are

(31:22):
not affected by The Supreme court decision. Today Supreme court
did not say you cannot have bad laws Like. Colorado's
they said the state gets to decide these. Issues and
the majority didn't even reach that issue of whether transgender
individuals constitute a suspect. Class, now the majority's never going
to go, there, right nor should? They they just, said

(31:43):
wait a, second we don't even have to get to
that because This tennessee, law this is just based on
age and it's based on a type of medical. Procedure
let's go up to beautiful four cowns. Again talk To.
Dennis you're on The Dan Capitalist. Show, welcome.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
My.

Speaker 8 (32:00):
Damn i'm, Sorry i'm going to be a little bit off.
Topic but something that's been bothering me for a long
time about this whole thing is what is the actual
motivation of most of these trans?

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Kids all the KIDS i spoke with.

Speaker 8 (32:17):
THEM i spoke with one of, them a sixteen year,
old and, YEAH i had a very very eye have,
surprised very good. Conversation BUT i told her THAT i
thought that the majority of these, people like ninety percent of,
them are doing.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
This out of seeking, attention and she actually.

Speaker 8 (32:42):
Agreed and it doesn't seem like we're doing anything to
attack the actual motivation anything that we're trying to.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Do, yeah, Boy, Dennis i've thought a lot about this
BECAUSE i know some of these, kids AND i know their,
parents and the parents are wonderful and the kids are.
WONDERFUL i think the answer is there are different causes
for different. Kids and it's certainly chic and hip and
and you, know woke and gets people attention other. KIDS

(33:11):
i think there's a different engine. There but the common,
denominator as you, know my, friend is it's just so
sad because these, kids they're, troubled they're, sad they're hurting
most of the, time and it's a real. Problem but
the fix is not to cut off body parts forever
or chemically alter them. Forever you. Know and this term

(33:32):
gender affirming care is such a lie because what they're
doing is is they're, providing you, know the these medical
treatments to undermine the true.

Speaker 8 (33:41):
Gender but my question is what are we doing to
get to stopping well whatever the inappropriate motivation is.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Well and as you can, see what the left is
trying to do With polus's lead is make it harder
and harder to get to that because they're passing laws, saying,
hey we're going to criminalize. It madame or miss, psychologist
if you try to tell that kid that that, no
really you're a, boy you're not a. Girl and businesses,
now if you're not willing to lie and say that
man is really a, woman then your business can be.

(34:16):
Punished so, no the state is actively working against the.
Truth but in the, end it's like a sign we
have in our law. Office the truth wins and it
will eventually win out. Here, ryan great, Job, kelly thank.
