Speaker 1 (00:00):
We got him.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
On the evening of September eleventh, a family member of
Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend who contacted
the Washington County Sheriff's Office with information that Robinson had
confessed to them or implied that he had committed the incident.
This information was relayed to the Utah County Sheriff's Office
and seen investigators at Utah Valley University. This information was

(00:25):
also conveyed to the FBI. Investigators reviewed additional video footage
from UVU surveillance and identified Robinson arriving on UVU campus
in a Great Dodge Challenger at approximately eight twenty nine
am on September tenth, in which he is observed on
video in a plain Marion T shirt, light colored shorts,

(00:47):
a black hat with a white logo, and light colored shoes.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
When encountered in person.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
By investigators in Washington County on September twelfth in the
early morning hours, Robinson was observed in consistent clothing with
those surveillance images. Investigators interviewed a family member of Robinson,
who stated that Robinson had become more political in recent years.
The family member referenced a recent incident in which Robinson

(01:13):
came to dinner prior to September tenth, and in the
conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Was coming to UVU.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
They talked about why they didn't like him and the
viewpoints that he had. The family member also stated Kirk
was full of hate and spreading hate. The family member
also confirmed Robinson had a gray Dodge Challenger. Investigators identified
an individual as the roommate of Robinson. Investigators interviewed that roommate,

(01:43):
who stated that his roommate, referring to Robinson, made a
joke on discord. Investigators asked if he would show them
the messages on discord. He opened it and showed several
messages to investigators and allowed investigators to take photos of
the screen as each message was shown by Robinson's roommate.
These photos consisted of various messages, including content of messages

(02:05):
between the phone contact named Tyler with an emoji icon
and Robinson's roommate's device. The content of these messages included
messages affiliated with the contact Tyler, stating a need to
retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle
in a bush, Messages related to visually watching the area

(02:28):
where a rifle was left, and a message referring to
having left the rifle wrapped in a towel.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
The messages also referred.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
To engraving bullets and a mention of a scope and
the rifle being unique. Messages from the contact. Tyler also
mentioned that he had changed outfits. I know there has
been speculation as well as to the writing on those casings,

(02:59):
those those bullet casings, and I believe we have that
as well, and I will share that with you now. So,
the area north of Campus Drive Road where the suspect
crossed over, you saw some of that in the video
that we released last night, consists of a grassy area

(03:20):
with trees on the edge of the UVU campus. Investigators
discovered a bolt action rifle wrapped in a dark colored towel.
The rifle was determined to be a Mouser Model ninety
eight thirty six thirty six caliber bolt action rifle. The
rifle had a scope mounted on top of it. Investigators
noted inscriptions that had been engraved on casings found with

(03:43):
the rifle. Inscriptions on a fired casing read notices, bulges,
capital OWO, What's this question? Mark inscriptions on the three
unfired casings read hay fascist exclamation point, catch exclamation point,
up arrow symbol, right arrow and symbol, and three down

(04:06):
arrow symbols.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
A second unfired.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Casing read oh belli chow bella chow bellichow chow chow,
and a third unfired casing red.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
If you read this you are gay l MAO.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
We are indebted to law enforcement across the state who
has worked seamlessly together local law enforcement, state law enforcement,
and our federal partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
We're grateful for everyone who worked together.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
In such a short amount of time to find this
person and to bring justice. I want to think the
public who has been so engaged reviewing, reviewing videos, helping
us with sending in tips, and helping us get.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
To this point.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I want to thank the family members of Tyler Robinson
who did the right thing in this case and.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
We're able to bring him in to law enforcement as well.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I especially want to thank the family of Charlie Kirk Erica,
Charlie's parents, his children. I want us to be thinking
of them as we bring justice in this case. They
will be involved in that justice. We will be working
very closely with them as we.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Move through this process as well.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
This is a very sad day for again for our country,
a terrible day for the state of Utah. But I'm
grateful that at this moment we have an opportunity to
bring closure to this very dark chapter in our nation's history.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Governor Spencer Cox of Utah just earlier last hour as
the press conference was held the FBI and attendance there
as well Cash Bettel, the director as they apprehend the
suspect in the Charlie Kirk assassination, twenty two year old
Tyler Robinson. A question is we go to break Ryan
Schuling filling in for Ross Kaminski here on KOA. I

(06:16):
was having this conversation in the newsroom prior to going
on air today, and that is you heard what Governor
Cox said about the family of Tyler Robinson and how
difficult that must be on some level to turn in
your own family member. And reportedly in this case, there
was a minister involved who was connecting the dots the video,

(06:36):
the still shots that were released by the FBI yesterday
and appealed to the father to turn his own son
in for having executed Charlie Kirk.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
In broad daylight on Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
My question for you in the audience is, if this
were your son, if this were your brother, this were
a family member of yours, this was a close friend
of yours, would you do as the family and friends
of this monster did and turn him into authorities. Because
we've seen many instances where the family becomes very obstinate

(07:12):
and uncooperative, but that appears not to have been the
case here, and if so, full credit, and again, not
an easy thing to do because what the father knows
he is doing in that instance, based on what President
Trump has said, based on what Governor Cox has said
about the death penalty in Utah, that will almost certainly
be his fate. Could you reconcile yourself to turning your

(07:33):
son in if he committed an atrocity like this. We'll
take a break, we'll come back. I think Governor Cox
has shined in this moment. I've been a critic of
his in the past. He's very close friends with our
own Governor Jared Polis, by the way, but he has
been brilliant throughout all of this during a very dark time.
And there's a comment that he makes that will have
coming back for you as we continue this conversation and

(07:54):
you can contribute to that conversation. We invite you to
do so at five six six nine zero and Sholing
filling in the Charlie Kirk assassin the suspect easing custody.
That is the topic of conversation today here on KOA.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
I absolutely believe that this is a watershed in American history. Yes,
the question is what kind of watershed, and that chapter
remains to be written. Is this the end of a
dark chapter in our history or the beginning of a
darker chapter in our history? Look, I mean, if you
look at true political assassinations in this country of someone

(08:31):
of this stature, this feels a lot like the late sixties,
and having one so gruesomely displayed on camera.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
In all of our hands and in all of our pockets.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
We are not wired as human beings biologically, historically, we
have not evolved in a way that we are capable
of processing those types of own imagery. And by the way,
we've seen another one with a gruesome stabbing very recently

(09:04):
that went viral. This is not good for us. It
is not good to consume. Social media is a cancer
on our society right now. And I would encourage again,
I would encourage people to log off, turnoff, touch grass,
hug a family member, go out and do good in
your community. That is happening, and it's happening organically right now.
Had a friend in a small city in Utah who said,

(09:27):
we're getting together, the Republicans and Democrats in my little
town are getting together to have a discussion tonight last night,
just to find a way to find their better angels.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
So yes, this could be.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
I mean, you know again, you have to go back
to JFK to have seen a video live of something
like this happening. I wasn't born until nineteen seventy five,
but I know that things were really dark in the
late sixties.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Sorry to some of you. I know some of you
were there. But this, this is our moment. Do we
escalate or do we find an off ramp? And again,
it's a choice.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's a choice, and every one of his gets to
make that choice.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
It is a choice.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Governor Spencer Cox again shining in this very dark moment.
Republican governor of Utah announcing today at a press conference
that the apprehended suspect Tyler Robinson was in custody. He
the alleged shooter and murderer, an assassin of Charlie kark
Kirk earlier this week on Wednesday at Utah Valley University.

(10:31):
Now to answer that question, I pose it to all
of you, and that is at five six six nine zero.
Is this the end of a dark chapter in our
history or the beginning of a darker chapter? He references
the nineteen sixties. It sure feels a lot like that
to those of you who remember the sixties.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
I do not.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Was born in the seventies, but of course had many
conversations with my parents living through the sixties and their generation,
the baby Boomer generation. The Zapruder film, however, was not
really least until much later, we did not have live
video footage of President Kennedy being shot, Perhaps for the better,
but I do recall watching the archival footage of Walter

(11:10):
Cronkite in real time as the president had been shot
and whisked away to a hospital in Dallas and a country,
a nation on edge as Walder Kronkite continued to report
on the president's status. And I felt very much that
same way on Wednesday, as this was happening during my
program on six point thirty k how Ryan Schuling live.

(11:30):
You can tune in two to four pm week days.
And I received the true social post from President Trump
announcing the.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Death of Charlie Kirk. That's a lot to process.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
That's a lot to handle on Aaron, as you recall
watching Walder Kronkite just holding his glasses and really struggling
to announce that President Kennedy was dead.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
It's a very somber moment.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Your text at five sixty six nine zero about turning
this suspect in if you were a family member of his.
Of course you have to tournaments as this texter. This
one says I'd turn them in without hesitation. And this
one also agrees, of course you tournament. He's a first
degree murderer. The only people arguing not to rat not
to rat are criminals themselves. And then finally this one

(12:11):
as we go to break Ryan, Historically I have not
liked you filling in thanks for your honesty.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I have often said mean things about you.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Today we are unified and sorrow unified in our shared
value of protecting freedom of speech.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Aimen to that.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
And I'll have a clip from Kyle Clark of nine News.
I affectionately refer to a comrade Kyle, but I wish
no ill will upon him, and I will echo his
sentiments in words one hundred percent. You'll hear two minutes
from him coming up later in the program, But up next,
Representative Lauren Bobert. She called for a moment of silent
prayer on the House floor and that turned into some turmoil.

(12:46):
Well that sound for you, and her description of it
in real time, her reaction to Charlie Kirk's assassin being
apprehended today, all of that still to come on the
ros Kaminski Show, Ryan Schuling filling in on KOA.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Let's let's let's wait a minute, wait a minute. The
house will be an order. The house will be in order.
The house will be in order.

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Sh we.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
The house will be an order. We will join for
prayer right after this, Okay, Speaker Mike Johnson.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
The House floor just the other day, and that was
Representative Lauren Bobert calling for a moment of silent prayer
to reflect upon the assassination of Charlie Kirk, who was
met with some consternation. Let's get down to the details
of that. The congresswoman representing the fourth Congressional District here
in Colorado. Lauren Bolbert our guest, Lauren, thank you so
much for taking the time.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
It's wonderful to be with you today. And you know,
obviously we're still mourning and grieving, but we're not going
to allow that grief to flow us down and stop us.
We're going to pick up right where Charlie left off and.

Speaker 6 (14:25):
Keep moving forward.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
It's a very difficult week, and I know for you personally, Lauren,
because you knew Charlie and I wish I had gotten
the chance to meet Charlie. But take us back to
that scene that we just heard the visuals of that
it seemed like a pretty benign request. Let's just have
a moment of silent prayer for Charlie Kirk. What happened
after that?

Speaker 7 (14:45):
So it's actually there's a few more details in that.
We did have a moment of silence for Charlie. And
just to take you a little deeper into my mindset,
in that moment, I had just received the best available
information Bill been alive that he had a pulse, and

(15:09):
that was right before the moment of silence, and it
didn't feel right to me to only be quiet, and
so I asked permission of a speaker after that moment
of silence to speak out of turn, which was granted,
and I asked if we could all pray aloud for Charlie,
and I said, I believe that silent prayers get silent results.

(15:32):
And that's when I was shouted down by my colleagues
on the left. I had also requested that we pray
aloud for the victims and the Evergreen shooting here in Colorado,
and they were, you know, shouting down, No silence is okay.
Clearly democrats want us to be silent. They're fine with that,

(15:57):
but it's the moment that we speak out is when
they want to shut that down. And you heard the
speaker say we will pray right after this. There was
no prayer after anything as a body, as a whole
that was conducted. And so it was just moments after

(16:19):
that exchange that we had learned that Charlie had passed.
And you know that certainly wasn't a moment that I
was trying to have go viral or or get something
out of. I truly wanted that power of agreement and
us pray for our friend Charlie and for the victims
in Colorado and that school shooting, and so that it's

(16:43):
been a it's been a really rough couple of days here.
It's it's never easy to hear of the passing of someone,
especially and in this manner. I mean, Charlie was assassinated,
if executed, in front of our eye, and it's been
extremely difficult. He is my friend, you know. We were

(17:06):
supposed to attend Truth and Liberty in Woodland Park together
and instead of going there last night, I chose to
spend time with my son at his football game and
my other boys and enjoyed dinner at home with them.
But it's a really difficult time in this political rhetoric

(17:27):
passed two in. Charlie was a man who gave a
platform to those who disagreed with him, those who even
hated him. He welcomed the conversation, he welcomed the debate.
He embodied the First Amendment of our Constitution. And even
more than that, he was a man of faith who
shared his faith everywhere he went and made it his

(17:50):
mission to not only bring our youth to the right
and to conservative values and back to the principles our
country was founded on, but bring our youth to Jesus,
and that's what I want Charlie's legacy to be, to
be known for, to be known as, and that is

(18:12):
what I am going to continue to carry on his behalf.
I believe that there were ten million Charlie Kirks made.
On September tenth.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Representative Lauren Bobert joining us. You can hear the emotion
in her voice.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
It's being confirmed in the press conference just over an
hour ago, Lauren that there appears to have been a
political mode of no surprise there the shooter apprehended the suspect,
Tyler Robinson, a twenty two year old male, and that
there were engravings on some of the ammunition anti fascist.
But I say that, and we know that the Democratic

(18:49):
People's Republic of Korea is neither democratic or a republic.
So just calling yourself an anti fascist or antifa, you
just can't slap a label on it. These are the
very fascists they're warning us about, in my opinion. But
these engravings on the ammunition, there was another one. I
want to give these details to our audience and to you.
This observation made one of the cartridge writings is part

(19:10):
of a song, says this person on ex Bela chow,
a nineteen forties anthem from World War II Italy sung
by anti fascist resistance fighters. So if we're dealing with
a demented aspect Lauren of the left that views themselves
truly as anti fascist warriors, and that the assassination of
Charlie Kirk was some noble, justified thing, where do we

(19:33):
even begin in terms of reconciliation as Americans?

Speaker 7 (19:39):
There needs to be, first of all, harsher judgment on
political violence and violence even in general. We've heard about
the tolerant left for more than a decade now, and
I've yet to see anything tolerant come from Democrats, from liberals.
Everything is is do what we want or else. And

(20:03):
unfortunately it's come to this point where now we've had
two assassination tempts, thank god they were failed on President Trump,
and now, I mean truly as close as as close
as you could get to a member of the First Family,
Charlie Kirk was assassinated for his political belief. Charlie Kirk

(20:25):
never promoted violence, he never spoke of violence. He spoke
of justice and truth and fairness and welcomed those conversations.
And so where do we go from here, hopefully there
is a revival. And I believe that there's something stirring
in the spiritual realm that is trying to instill fear,

(20:49):
so revival does not take place, and that America does
not live up to the expectations that it was created to.
But I believe that it will have an opposite effect.
There were millions of prayers and still are that are
going up because of this moment. And God is faithful.

(21:10):
He is not a man that he should lie, nor
the son of man that he should repent. And God
said that his words contain power, and they never ever
return void of power. They always produce what he promised
they would. And I believe that we are going to
see a great harvest from the prayers that have been

(21:30):
spoken over the past couple of days now and and
I want America to be the continue to be the
greatest nation, but also the most united nation.

Speaker 8 (21:44):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (21:44):
We are the only country that has a banner that
we life probably that stands for liberty and justice for all,
and that's what I want embodied in this moment and
to come out. Charlie was a pioneer in this and
he has paved a way for millions to follow, and

(22:06):
and that's exactly what I want to see. I was
on an interview with Leland on News Nation the other night,
and you know, one of his remarks was, after nine
to eleven, we had a common enemy to unite us. Well,
I don't believe America needs an enemy to be united.

(22:26):
We have so many wonderful things that can unite us.
But it is a time for us to put aside
our personal differences and disagreements that that caused so much
hateful division. And we don't want to see anyone on
the conservative movement retaliate in a violent way. We want

(22:51):
we want this conversation and dialogue to continue, but we
are not going to be silent, and it's time to
be longer and more bold than ever. And Ben Shapiro
said it best. We are going to pick up Charlie
Kirk's bloodstained microphone and we are going to run with
it and speak truth louder and more boldly than ever.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
Speaking with Representative Lauren Bolbert, she of the fourth Congressional
District right here in Colorado, Lauren, I want to get
to more of Charlie Kirk, the person as you knew him,
And here is President Trump earlier this morning talking about
just how excited his son Baron was to meet Charlie.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
What do you as a dad? And a lot of
dads and moms are wondering what to say? What do
you say to them? So Baron's a very good student.

Speaker 8 (23:38):
And Baron came to me and he said, Dad, I'd
like to meet somebody that you know who Charlie Kirk.
I said what I thought he was going to say,
want to meet like King Charles or something like we're
going to meet soon, right, But he said, really you are.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
And I set up a lunch with him, and he
came back. She said, that guy's great. Dead, that guy's great.
He's unbelievable. I don't know what way.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Charlie had a magic over the kids and large numbers
of them and very diverse black, white, I mean, everybody,
the young women and boys, and I've never seen anything
like it.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
And it was all good. I mean, it was good stuff.

Speaker 8 (24:22):
It wasn't some of the stuff you read about whether
in favor of all these horrible things. It was really
good stuff. And we lost an unbelievable warrior, Lauren.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
More proof of that was Gavin Newsom sitting down with
Charlie Kirk, the governor's own podcast, saying that his thirteen
year old son wanted to stay home from school and
go into the studio to meet Charlie. So it was
Gavin Newsom's son, it was Baron Trump's son of Donald Trump.
The appeal of Charlie Kirk was massive. Do you have
a personal story about Charlie and your interactions with him

(24:52):
that really stands out to you?

Speaker 6 (24:55):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (24:55):
So without Charlie, I don't know if I would have
the platform that I have today. Certainly I've met him
after I was elected to office, but the moment I
was there, Charlie brought me into this turning point family.
And you know, he didn't treat me as second rate

(25:16):
or lesser than. He immediately gave me an opportunity to
headline events and gave me a massive time allotment to speak.
And you know, the conversations that we had, I believe
are what led up to that generosity of time that
he gave me to speak to the children that he

(25:37):
was installing his vision in. And you know, every time
that I saw him, he was nothing but happy. We
talked about policy, we talked about God, we talked about
the future of our country, our children, our children's children.
And you know, Charlie has defended me when others wouldn't.
Certainly have been through some things over the years, and

(26:00):
he has always been there for me. But also not
only was I supposed to be with him at Truth
and Liberty last night in Colorado, but he was also
scheduled to be at Colorado State University. And you know,
I had communicated that I was going to be in Washington,
d C. I would love to be there, however, and

(26:21):
I pulled my kids out of school and send them
and so arrangements had been made for them to be
there at the tent with Charlie, and uh, you know
that's not going to happen now. But my sixteen year
old son, he I didn't tell him that I had
already made these arrangements.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
And he showed me on his phone.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
He said, Mom, do you know this guy he's he's coming,
he's coming, uh to Fort Collins. And I said, yeah,
maybe that's that's Charlie. That's my friend. And you're going
to he said, I am, And so I told him
the story and he, uh, he said, you like know
him well enough to have his number and I chuckled

(27:02):
because I guess I didn't realize that that's not something
we talk about. He hasn't attended those events with me,
and uh, you know, I told him, I said, I
do have his number. And you know one regret, one
regret I have is I almost text Charlie in that
moment to tell him we were talking about him, and
I thought, oh, I'm going to see him on Friday,

(27:23):
so I'll just tell him then. And you know, that's
another reminder of just you never know. And so when
someone is on your heart, to reach out to them,
and and and and say what say what you want
to say to him now, because you don't know if
you can Later.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
Representative Lauren Bobert our guest, you had mentioned the shooting
at Evergreen High School happening on the same day, Lauren,
and I just wanted to get your reaction to this
from Jeff Coo, Sheriff's Department p IO Jackie Kelly and
the status of an s RO on site at.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
That high school.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
School used to have a full time SRO. That SORO
is on medical leave right now. So it's a shared duty.
Horrible timing, of course, but share duty. So we have
a couple of part time SROs that share this school
right now, there was no one at from the SORO
unit at the school when.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
The shooting started.

Speaker 9 (28:19):
He was there until about ten thirty ten forty five,
and then he was dispatched out here for an accident.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Pretty close by.

Speaker 9 (28:25):
On those chef CO officers, they.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Are on time with the district.

Speaker 9 (28:29):
Those are Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies.

Speaker 7 (28:31):
Who are our SROs. And then in lieu at the
first song lead.

Speaker 9 (28:34):
It was a shared negotiate between honels, but normally there
would be someone staff full time.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Yes, what time is yes, Lauren? To me, that's not
good enough.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
If I'm one of the parents of one of the
two students that was shot, you were supposed to have
a full time SRO there and the rotating part time
SRO because the full time one was on medical leave
had to go to the scene of an accident. Can't
be two places at the same time. This seems unacceptable
to me. How about you?

Speaker 7 (28:59):
Yeah, yuh, certainly it's unacceptable and unfortunate.

Speaker 10 (29:03):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (29:03):
You know I tried years ago to unspent COVID funds
to secure our schools uh, and you know that was
that wasn't good enough for my colleagues on the other side. Uh,
And this is something that we need to make a priority. Unfortunately,

(29:25):
there's there's so much in the world right now that
is causing confusion and division in our youth. And uh,
you know, there's there's so many that are are auto
medications and and.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
So many different things.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
And I don't know the status of this shooter obviously,
but you know we've seen this in the past, and
to secure our schools is the most important.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Thing we can do.

Speaker 7 (29:47):
And it's not about banning guns.

Speaker 8 (29:49):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
Gun free zones are are not safe zones. That that
is where we see the most violence and the most
use of of guns and force like that. So we
have to secure our schools. We have to have law enforcement.
We have to have armed guards in some capacity, whether

(30:11):
it's the teachers. And I love what Faster Colorado does
to arm our teachers and to train them and equip them.
But it's not enough, and we need more. You have
to have a good guy with a gun to stop
a bad guy with a gun. You can't just put
up a sign or make a law that says, in
this building, in this area, you are not allowed to

(30:32):
have guns, because someone.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Who is that.

Speaker 7 (30:36):
Of violent and evil and will will go right past that,
and the law abiding citizen will obey and not have
a way to protect themselves from imminent harm. And so
obviously I grieve with the families of the victims, I
mean praying. I believe there's still one student in critical condition,

(30:59):
and the shooter took his own life, but this is
something that is absolutely unacceptable. Our children are our nation's
greatest asset, and you protect your greatest assets at all costs.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
You can follow her on asset. Rep.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Bobert, Representative Lauren Bobert from the fourth Congressional District of Colorado,
joining us here today. Lauren, I know it's been an
exceptionally difficult week for you, for me, for everybody who
knew or admired Charlie Kirk, and he was a personal
friend of yours. So my condolences to you on the
loss of your friend. Thank you so much for joining
us here today, and we'll talk again soon. Yes, so

(31:35):
thank you, Representative Lauren Bolbert. We'll take this time out.
Ryan Shuling filling in for Ross Kaminski. Your response your
reaction via the text line fifty six six ninety after this.
I'm filling in Ryan Shuling for Ross Kominski here on
KOA on this Friday, heading into a Broncos weekend. They're
going to be on the road against the Colts, right a, Rod, Indianapolis.

(31:56):
That's what we're talking about. Okay, and we have a
watch party, right yeah?

Speaker 1 (32:00):
So he do the Orange and Blue watch party burn
now on Sunday. Yeah, look at that. I'm a company man,
so we could look forward to that on Sunday two o'clock. Right, yes, indeed,
game is it too?

Speaker 6 (32:10):
All right?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Looking forward to that, looking forward to your text?

Speaker 3 (32:12):
At fifty six six ninety we were just joined by
Representative Lauren Bobert. And if you're just tuning in, welcome,
appreciate you. You missed the entire first hour.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
What is wrong with you? Never mind?

Speaker 3 (32:23):
You can catch it on the podcast or I'll do
my best to fill you in right now. The alleged assassin,
and you know, the video evidence is overwhelming. We'll see
where it goes from here, but it's a twenty two
year old white male named Tyler Robinson and more details
coming out that his father, his own father, cooperated in

(32:44):
turning him into authorities. Now, ay, Rod, you have more
details about his father and their background. There a difficult decision,
no doubt about it. But his background may have contributed
to him wanting to cooperate. Can tell us more?

Speaker 11 (33:00):
Yes, Yeah, so his father what twenty plus years as
a sheriff, and I had seen that there was a
threat by the sun to essentially commit suicide and leading
up in that confrontation or that the discussion with his
father to turn himself over, so sally, it was a

(33:21):
pretty nasty situation for his father to assist in his
giving himself up or turning himself in.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Yeah, and we're getting reports and again if you have
not heard of the comments of Governor Spencer Cox of
Utah were really uplifting during a dark and depressing time.
And I thought he really shined in this moment. And
this was his moment. He let off the press conference
announcing quote we got him, gave details as to the apprehension.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
And think about this.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
Do you remember how long it took to apprehend the
Boston marathon bomber suspects, and one they would kill and
the other one they would apprehend. That was a fog
of confusion. You know, you have this big mass event,
A lot of people in attendance, the bombs go off,
and then they're able to track down And this is

(34:12):
now some years ago, but with video surveillance footage piecing
it together like a puzzle, and that's exactly what happened here.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
And think about this.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
It is less than forty eight hours later and they
have apprehended the assassin.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
And I was worried, folks.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
And let's say the first twenty four hours that the
more time elapsed, the more difficult it was going to
be to catch this shooter. But credit to law enforcement
on the ground, local in Utah and federal and the
FBI for getting this job done and setting up shop,
parsing through that video evidence and relying on the good

(34:49):
faith of this demonic monster's father and a minister apparently
and a lot of people recognizing him that were close
to him from the video evidence that was released by
the FBI. Let's get some of your texts before we
go to our first break. Here in our number two
five six, six nine zero is where you can send
those ryan. I would turn a relative in if they

(35:11):
killed a good person, if it was someone I deemed
bad or evil, Probably not. You can't play that game.
Who are you to play God like that? No, co Dan,
if somebody close to you murders anybody. I was just
telling Rob Dawson about this, and then I'm going to
get to a comment eclip from Kyle Clark from nine
News in which I agree with every word he says.

(35:32):
We have political adversaries and they may be opponents in
that arena of ideas, and we do battle with words
and campaigns and winning hearts and minds and votes and
winning elections. That's how we handle our differences in this country.
We don't demonize our opposition to the point where we
would sanction, condone, endorse, and celebrate the murder of our

(35:56):
political opponents. Folks, it could be anybody, and there are
people I make fun of on a regular basis.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
So it is ross.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Whether it's the squad represented Rashida to leave from my
home state of Michigan, I think she's nuts, oreoc Oreana Presley,
or Bernie Sanders, any of them. Completely reject and oppose
any notion of violence being perpetrated against any of those individuals.

(36:22):
I might disagree with them strongly. I will try everything
I can to oppose them in the political arena. But
the answer is never violence. It's never Okay, I don't
care how much you dislike that person, I can say that.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
What about you?

Speaker 3 (36:35):
And I'm talking talk about the royal you here, if
you're gonna you know what good person? I would turn
my relative in? Bad person?

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Now? Who are you comparing Charlie Kirk to here? An
evil person? Like?

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Say, I don't know Ted Bundy, the BTK killer. Is
this the level that you're putting him on. We had
a British commentator on the BBC compare Charlie Kirk to
David Duke.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
I mean, this is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
You make a mockery of yourselves with these over the
top comparisons that are based in total rubbish. Ralphin black
Forest says Lauren Bobert is awesome. I gave money to
her campaign even though I'm not in her district.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
Good to know. I mean, see that's the other thing.

Speaker 10 (37:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
I know Lauren fairly well, and I know she's a
polarizing figure and she's a firebrand and she speaks her
mind much like people I just described on the other side.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
But I worry about Lauren now.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
I mean, if it's open season on these people that
you just don't like you don't happen to agree with,
And in some kind of bizarre, warped, twisted logic, you say, well,
because they represent things and ideals that I find to
be fascist or evil. Therefore, by any means necessary, we
need to take her out. That is a dangerous and

(37:54):
dark path, folks, that we need to avoid. We have
those frank conversations right here and now. And does the
rhetoric need to be toned down on either side? Of
course it does. You have to base your opinions in facts, logic, evidence,
present it, win hearts and minds, have a convincing argument.

(38:15):
That's your best weapon. This twenty two year old ne'er
do well Tyler Robinson, he did not kill a movement.
He killed a man. But the Turning Point USA movement
that Charlie began will continue. And now, as Representative Bolbert said,
and I agree with it, he has created probably a

(38:36):
million more Charlie Kirks. This is backfired on him in
a way he could never have anticipated. I mean, it's
much like the scene from Star Wars where Obi Kwan
Kenobi warns Darth Vader, if you strike me down, I'll
become more powerful than you. Can never imagine that's what's
happened here. This is if you are on the left,
you should be absolutely infuriated that this happen because it

(39:00):
should not represent who you are, or what you believe,
or the goals that you seek to achieve in politics.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
This is not that means to an end.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
And for those that can't call it out, I've been
having a block party on Facebook. If you cannot condemn
what happened on Wednesday outright, with no qualifiers, no, but
Charlie kirk was, shut up.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
And get out of the conversation. You are a madman.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
You were a mad woman that you would even entertain
the thought of endorsing or accepting this as tolerable behavior
in our dynamic.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
We'll take this break.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
We'll come back with those words from Kyle Clark on
the other side of this, Ryan schuling in for Roskominsky,
this is koa.

Speaker 12 (39:42):
Once it becomes acceptable to kill someone for their speech,
for participating in politics, then we have unleashed a force
we cannot control, a force that will strike out in
every direction at any American. There are countries like that.
We don't want to live in a country like that.
We want to live in a country where someone like
Charlie Kirk can speak his mind, making some people cheer

(40:03):
and other people's scream in anger, and if they want,
they can meet his speech with speech of their own,
and then everyone goes home safe to their families. That's
how America is supposed to work. Words can hurt, words
can harm, words can cause fear. But words are different
than physical violence, and this country has long recognized that

(40:24):
even harmful speech is worth protecting because speech is an
alternative to violence.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
Cheering the rise in political violence, be.

Speaker 12 (40:35):
It the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the killing of
a Democratic legislator in Minnesota, the murder of Charlie Kirk,
celebrating or excusing that political violence is an invitation to
bloodshed on a scale that we cannot imagine. It's an
invitation to war between Americans.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Too.

Speaker 12 (40:55):
Many of America's leaders at this moment seem incapable of
leading us to or de escalation. There is power and
profit in a darker path, but let's not wait for
them to lead. Let's start with ourselves and our neighbors.
Not by disagreeing lash. We should disagree all we want.

(41:15):
It's our right as Americans but then let us each
take the opportunity to remind each other we're not enemies.
We're neighbors who disagree, disagreements that begin and end with
words and words alone.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
Amen to that. Kyle Clark nine News.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Now I affectionately refer to him as Comrade Kyle, because
I do believe he's oriented on the left politically with
his editorial point of view.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
And that's fine.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
But in no way shape manner of form would I
wish any ill will upon Kyle Clark. He's an important
voice in the sphere. Now, I have my opportunity on
my program over on six point thirty k orre this
one when I'm filling in for Ross Kaminski to rebut
or refuse or allow me to retort as Jules says

(42:03):
in pulp fiction, now before the violence that takes place
in that scene. My point being, we need to have
robust debate, disagreement. That's fine, That's part of what makes
us Americans, you know, the ugly American label. We're not
all going to think the same way, believe the same
things for the same reasons. Our backgrounds are different, our
value systems and structures are different.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
And I respect Kyle Clark.

Speaker 3 (42:27):
He's got an enormous audience, tremendous following, big level of
influence in the Denver Boulder corridor, and there are people
such as Ross Kaminsky, Mandy Connell yours truly that we
push back against those narratives, and that's fine, but the
answer is never to solve it with violence of any kind,
because that's when you know you've lost the argument if

(42:48):
you've got to resort to that.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
We'll take this time out.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
We'll talk about the in between time between the assassination
of Charlie Kirk, the apprehension of his shooter today and
the media reaction to it. Was steep El Miller Versus
media podcast host one of the bright minds on x
You can follow at Red Ste's He resigns right here
in Colorado and he's next on The ros Keminski Show,
Ryan Schuling filling in.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
This is KOA.

Speaker 10 (43:11):
We don't know any of the details of this that
we don't know if this was a supporter or shooting
their gun off in celebration or so.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
We have no idea about this.

Speaker 10 (43:19):
But following up what was just said, he's been one
of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures in this
who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate
speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I
always go back to hateful thoughts lead to hateful words,
which then lead to hateful actions.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
And I think that's the environment we're in that people just.

Speaker 10 (43:44):
You can't stop with these sort of awful thoughts you
have and then saying these awful words and not expect
awful actions to take place.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
And that's the fortunate environment we're in. Matthew Dowd on MSNBC,
this guy.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
Former Bush Neokhon Iraq war supporter, war Hawk himself going
back better than twenty years now, a pundit on MSNBC
basically saying that Charlie Kirk was responsible for the assassination
of Charlie Kirk. If he just would have kept his
mouth shut and not spoke in his mind or used

(44:22):
his First Amendment rights in public forums like college campus
as well, maybe this wouldn't have happened. Even Joe Scarborough
earlier today chimed in on that horrid take.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Took bed holes and also from leadership of.

Speaker 13 (44:36):
This network, somebody came on Matthew Dowd yesterday came on
and made a wild speculation that was obviously wrong, and
it extraordinarily hurtful to many people. And Becca Cutler said
so last night, came out and condemned his words in
the strongest term.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
So we're glad that she did that.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Okay, condemned his words in the strongest terms. The guy
should be jettison from the network altogether. And Katie Terr
was equally awful in her presentation of coverage I'm a
MSNBC in real time as the situation wasn't unfolding in Utah,
where Charlie Kirk was shot and then later died from
his wounds. Joining us now, he is the host of
the Versus Media podcast you can follow on x at

(45:18):
red Ste's Steven L. Miller, our guests Steven Wilcome.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
Are you sleeping, Okay, Ryan, No.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
As a matter of fact, it was one of the
roughest nights I've had, honestly since twenty four years ago
to the day.

Speaker 6 (45:31):
And yeah, obviously not sleeping much as someone who's in
this arena, certainly not at the level that Charlie Kirk was.
But it's interesting I feel a lot I didn't know
Charlie Kirk personally, but I feel a lot going around
how he persuaded people. You know, he went to college
campuses and you know, he would do these Q and a's,

(45:52):
and some people kind of accuse him of punching down,
and I don't think that's really it. I think what
Charlie Kirk's power was was basically making an your generation
of college and age males in particular, realize that they're
not some weirdo walking around campus that they don't have
to keep to themselves. And I think what Charlie Kirk
really did was basically say to these kids, you're okay

(46:15):
to believe that you do believe. You know, you're surrounded
by you know, weirdo. Progressis in furry costumes or whatever
it is.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
And that's really what he unlocked.

Speaker 6 (46:25):
And if you know, a lot of people don't you know,
know this, but the Romney Ryan campaign of twenty twelve
did not visit a single college campus in the one
hundred days of their presidential campaign. Not one that was
a space that was kind of seated by the old
guard GOP, you know, the national reviews, the Weekly Standards,
and those writers. And if you abandon those spaces, something

(46:48):
is going to fill it. And for the kind of
older guard of the Republican Party who disapproved of Charlie
Kirk's tactics, I don't want to hear it. Charlie Kirk
filled a vacuum that those guys abandoned, and he became very,
very influential over to the point to where he was
killed over it. And that's really where he drew his

(47:09):
influence and power. And you know, I don't think that
the political left understands what's coming electorally. I think you're
going to see one hundred of thousand or so redkilled
college day to males coming here in these next few elections.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
Steven L. Miller, our guests.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
We've seen myriad polls, Stephen, revealing that Gen Z coming
up maybe the most conservative generation since the greatest generation,
the World War II generation. We see them, they're more
pro life, they don't drink or smoke as much. They
are getting red pilled. To your point, they went through COVID,
many of them coming into college or out of college,

(47:46):
and they had that taken away from them with the
draconian lockdowns and so forth. How much of that shift
for Gen Z moving to the right do you attribute
and credit to Charlie Kirk himself, I.

Speaker 6 (48:01):
Would I would say a lot of it, the majority
of it, but there's other you know, there's other influencers.
It's kind of what the network that Charlie Kirk created.
When when Charlie Kirk kind of landed on the scene
a bunch of years ago, he was kind of this
kind of goofy pucker Carlson's style, want to be kind
of infotainer, and that was really just kind of the
response to the kind of media reaction to Barack Obama.

(48:23):
They decided he's going to be info pointer in chief,
and the plot were I countered with that. And then
as Charlie got older and he kind of matured, I
think he saw that, you know, there's a there's a
better way of doing things that hey, I'm going to
try to talk to you. And you know, maybe where
I think he did make his mistake is, you know,
as he said, he's trying to persuade people to the
other side. And you know, I think that he was

(48:44):
probably one of the biggest political forces since Andrew Breitbart,
and I'm an Andrew Breitbart conservative that he was kind
of the guy that I got into coming up and
I think when Andrew Breitbart realized is you know, there's
there's a faction of these people that just have to
be defeated. And you're now seeing the political left settle
into this thing called stochastic terrorism, and it's their entire narrative.

(49:05):
It's oppressed versus oppressor, and Trump is the ocer, and
therefore LGBTQW is the oppressed. Never mind that this is
the best time to be gay in the history of
the world is in the United States of America in
twenty twenty five, and therefore they justify anything as violent
against them. Your speech is violence, and therefore any violence

(49:27):
I commit against you is a defensive tactic. You see
this with the Hamas playbook, and that's what's kind of
at work to I don't want to traffic in speculation
with the you know, we still don't know the motive
of the shooter. I think it's pretty clear myself, but
this is dangerous. This is where the political left is now.
We're seeing not just kind of a few loonies on

(49:48):
social media celebrating this. You're seeing speakers in academia celebrating this.
You're seeing medical professionals celebrate the shooting of Chartlie Kerr,
and you know the he is going to start this,
the political riot is going on a cancel culture spree.
And yes, that's what we do. We don't burn buildings down,
we don't go out and buy it, we don't destroy
people's businesses. And so the media should be thankful that

(50:12):
getting a few people fired for this is all that
we're going to do in reaction to this.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
Steven L.

Speaker 3 (50:16):
Miller versus media podcast hosts. You can find that on
a substack and also via his X page at red
Ste's I'm old enough to remember the assassination attempt against
Ronald Reagan. I was with my grandmother at the time,
and she broke down crying, and of course through the
comparisons to Kennedy and good thing that old Dutch survived
that and it brought the country together. And I don't remember,

(50:37):
and I was young, but even when I go back
watch archival footage, I didn't remember a single America, not
at least that was anywhere near the mainstream going.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
Man.

Speaker 3 (50:44):
I wish John Hankley had gotten him and taken him out.
But now we had the University of Texas at Austin,
keep Austin weird. One of the most liberal bastions in
the nation, despite it being in Texas. And these were
the reactions of students after the Charlie Kirk assassination.

Speaker 1 (51:00):
Kirk got shot and killed. How do you feel happy? Goodbye?

Speaker 7 (51:03):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (51:03):
Did you see that Charlie Kirk just got shot and killed? Wow?

Speaker 14 (51:08):
That's good, that's good that people are getting shot yourself
in political view.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
Good the people are dying in America. Did you see
that Charlie Kirk gets shot and killed today?

Speaker 6 (51:21):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (51:21):
I did.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
How do you feel about that? I don't really have
any feelings about it. Who are you?

Speaker 14 (51:30):
Charlie Kurt gets shot and killed today? We're just getting
people's opinions.

Speaker 1 (51:33):
How do you feel about that? Girl? Someone had to
do it, and that's how I feel at this point
in time. But yeah, I appreciate your honesty, I truly do.

Speaker 7 (51:43):
So.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
You just have someone have to do it. Yes, trying
not to get all pulled up into that. But he
was a misogynist. He was a disgusting person with disgusting beliefs.

Speaker 14 (51:55):
So if you had a magical wand a magical button
that you could press and keep him from being assassinated,
would you oppress a No? I think things happen for
a purpose, and if that's how his life was ended, then.

Speaker 1 (52:11):
That's how it was ended.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
So Stephen, I'm not the most religious guy in the
world by any means, but I look at this emptiness,
this soullessness, and it seems to me to derive directly
from nihilism. And we know that one of the foundational
tenets of Marxism is to divorce people from their gods,
and their politics becomes their religion, and that becomes their
god replacing that. There's a reason why in the Soviet

(52:34):
Union in China they've banned religions because nothing can supersede
the power, the centralized power of the government. This is
disturbing on many levels, But how would you analyze as
to why we are here? Why so many young people
and that's just a sampling, right there have this reaction
to an innocent man being murdered in broad daylight.

Speaker 6 (52:56):
I think a lot of it has to do with
the status of our soli media platforms and their beer groups.
You know, they see posts that people cheer and it's
kind of the devalue of life. The interesting thing about
Charlie Kirk is he took away a lot of the
less power to.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Insult.

Speaker 6 (53:16):
And you know, this was something that he did. He
was recently featured on South Park. He was made fun of.
Is he took away the power to be offended. And
so when I hear those clips, you know, and there's
probably people in your audience who are offended by this stuff.
Charlie Kirk is the kind of guy who probably just
laugh at some of that stuff. And this was something
and this is the thing I've been on for a while,

(53:38):
if you've read my posts and stuff like this, The
power to offend the political right and especially the religious right,
whether it's through entertainment, through artworks, through academia, has always
been a very very potent weapon for the political left,
and Charlie Kirk was a guy who took that away
from them. On one of his there's a video of
him on one of his college events and a guy
comes up to him in a full light boat say

(54:00):
in costume whatever, and he got the head and he's
chanting and Kirk just kind of laughs and clips at him.
And that was also his reaction to appearing on South
Park here just a few episodes ago, which is you know,
he made you know, Charlie Cartonan his Twitter avatar, and
he said, this is great. I guess I've made it.
And that's something that infuriates that side of the aisle,
and it's something that infuriates the media because it really

(54:22):
is a new right. They talk about the new right
and the youth right. And so when I when I
hear this with you know, these kids saying this in
this interview, I kind of just shrug it off. If
I'm being honest, it doesn't offend me. You know, there
is you know, our humor in times like this, and
you know, Kirk was a guy who was able to
poke fun at himself and whether it was an act,

(54:43):
you know, he really did disarm the political left that way.
And again that's one of the reasons he became so influential.
A whole generation of people saw this guy over here
who was having fun, and they looked on the other
side and they see people scolding them for their skin color,
for their choice of me for their choice of fashion,
for their diet. You know, you're killing the planet with

(55:04):
your meeting. And that was that was another big part
of his influence in all of this, and it really
is where that side of the aisle is and again,
when you're sitting at you know, twenty percent approval rating,
the political left sits in a very dangerous place right now.
And again, as someone who is in that arena as well,
I don't take that for granted at all.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
Steven L.

Speaker 3 (55:25):
Miller versus media podcast hosts, I saw you comment on this,
so I want to break it down as we go.
This was Representative Dan Goldman, Democrat, New York, one of
my least favorite in the House, on with Anderson Cooper
last night.

Speaker 15 (55:36):
That's certainly now the message we're hearing from some in
the sort of far right you know podcasting sphere who
make money off off this.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
But this kind of.

Speaker 15 (55:47):
Rhetoric, I mean they're talking about war. There's a war
targeting and conservatives.

Speaker 4 (55:52):
Yeah, look, it's that is incredibly dangerous. I I am
really really disappointed. And what I would urge I would
really urge the President of the United States to speak
out against that. What I don't view this as an
issue of the right or the left. I think we've

(56:15):
seen political violence, you know, on both sides of the spectrum,
and it's not that one is worse than the other. Obviously,
the efforts to assassinate the President were horrific. Thanks, and
we're absolutely unacceptable, should have been unacceptable. But we can't

(56:36):
get in a tit for tat here where we're just
going one after the other after the other.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Well, Representative gold but I might remind you that it
wasn't that long ago that Senator Chris Murphy said this
are we at war?

Speaker 1 (56:48):
Like we're we're in a war right now to save
this country. And so you have to be willing to
do whatever is necessary in order to save the country.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
Whatever is necessary, including taking out Charlie Kirk on a
college campus and you.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Goldman continues, and I hope.

Speaker 4 (57:02):
These far right podcasters come to their senses and recognize
that this is not war. We are Americans at bottom,
and we may be Republicans, we may be Democrats, but
we don't we do not divide this entire country based
on political ideology, and we can't do that. And we

(57:23):
have to come back and remember that we are all
Americans in the greatest country on earth, and that we
may disagree on how we move forward, but we all
want our country to move forward.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
Kumbai Jah, come together. Except this was Representative Dan Goldman
a year ago, just.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
Unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public
office again. He is not only unfit, he is destructive
to our democracy and he has to be He has
to be eliminated.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
Donald Trump has to be eliminated now, Stephen.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
This is why I think you are so important, why
this show, and why I feel I have a duty
to Charlie Kirk and everybody else, because Democrats assume the
American people are stupid, that they have no memory of
anything that they've said in the past. Just forget about
all that. We're all good now, but we have long memories.
The Internet is forever, and these audio clips are in
archives that exist.

Speaker 6 (58:20):
Yeah, you know, after what happened yesterday, I don't think
I'm going to be getting a lectured at at a
guy and a party that throws a stone and hits
the nearest NRA member after every mass shooting. That's you know,
that's just kind of how I look at this. These
guys and they know how bad this looks. They you know,

(58:40):
and that's why a lot of this is finger wagging.
And you have Mars bay AOC out here calling for
more gun control and everything like that, and it's really
interesting that, you know, conservative is the one getting shot
at right now, whether it's at college campuses, whether it's
while they're attending church with kids and the bullets are
flying in one direction. That's not always the case. But

(59:01):
you can look at the rash of political violence, including
two attempts on the Republican nominee for president last year,
And I said, if the Democratic Party thinks they're going
to take guns away from the people being shot at,
let me let me tell you that that's going to
be a hard no, right, that's going to be a
conversation killer right the bat. And so they don't really

(59:22):
know how to handle this. You know, something that's interesting
is we're seeing this rash of celebratory tweets and tiktoks
and everything, and there's not a single Democratic leader out
there telling them, too cool its right now. And that's
really the problem here. And again it's because you hear
Dan gold in there. This is the perfect example of
what I talked about. The stochastic terror is, you know,

(59:44):
Chris Murphy, we're in a warm and they're destroying the democracy.
And therefore if you think that and you act, can
take it against them as a service to protect the democracy.
And again it's it's dangerous. That's where they're at and
it has to be resoundly defeated.

Speaker 1 (59:59):
And that's it. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
I don't know what else to put to.

Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Say one more clip that I want people to hear.
And granted this is from overseas in the BBC, but
this is Nell's Abbey. And if you think it's bad
here in America, we know how bad it's getting in Britain.
You're being penalized, you're being punished, you're being arrested for
free speech and mean tweets. And just listen to how
he characterizes Charlie Kirk here. Doesn't want to justify Charlie
Kirk's murder, but.

Speaker 16 (01:00:22):
I don't agree it was a sistery of for a
TikTok aage. I believe it was a David Duke for
the TikTok Age and I have some degree Ke was
the former Grand Wizard of Kunukok Klan that this was
a very seriously deep Now, this is by no means
trying to justify his murder. Political violence is wrong at home,
this is wrong abroad.

Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
It is wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
It's also wrong.

Speaker 16 (01:00:45):
Political violence must be condemned, as must be the propagandizing
for political violence and the dehumanization of people. Charlie Kirk
was somebody who was shiver, particularly for conservatives when he's
described as conservative, because he wasn't a conservative by any
means whatsoever. He was quite clearly a comfortably of supremacist.
If I was somebody who was going on television, I'm
sure you would have described somebody who doesn't TV and

(01:01:07):
blames Jewish people for what he described at the coursening
of Western culture. Says things like the Equality Act or
the Civil Rights Act or so was a mistake. Says
things like women shouldn't be in ties into abortions.

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Well, that's a gross exaggeration of a lot of Charlie
Kirk's positions. But Steven, my final point would be this,
you know, the likening of Trump to Hitler, it's become passe,
and that any one of us who supports Donald Trump,
we're Nazis, we're brown shirts, we're ASTs whatever. And now
the comparison here of Charlie Kirk to David Duke, I mean,
there might be the average person on the street that
if they believe that comparison, that through line, that if

(01:01:42):
they had an open shot at David Duke, of the KKK.

Speaker 1 (01:01:46):
Of course they would take him out because that would
be justifiable.

Speaker 6 (01:01:50):
Yeah, I kind of think the authoritarians are the ones
shooting people.

Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
Indeed, Steven L. Miller, he is the host of the
Versus Media podcast. You can find it on his and
I advise you to follow him at red Ste's on X.

Speaker 6 (01:02:22):
This, One.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Ryan i've been surprised by the callous nature of people
the past couple of. Days respect for other human, beings
whether we agree or, disagree must return to our, discourse
and for human life in. General it's FROM. D. K
broomfield and he, says, Ps i'm typically listening to sports
talk this time of day WHILE i, work But i'm
so disturbed by The Charlie kirk. ASSASSINATION i turned the
dial TO koa this. Morning surprised and happy you're sitting

(01:02:45):

Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
Him that Was governor Spend cox Of utah and he
was very eloquent with his remarks earlier this morning announcing
at a press conference that they had apprehended the shooting
suspect and the assassination Of Charlie kirk on the campus
Of Utah Valley University. Wednesday he Is Tyler, robinson a
twenty two year old. Radicalized his father was a. Sheriff

(01:03:20):
but on the ammunition was found some inscriptions like fascists catch.
This there was an anti fascist song that was sung
in the forties against Fascist. Italy so this guy obviously
had been indoctrinated on some, level and he probably sought
out his own sources for this and the radical extremes

(01:03:41):
of The. Internet and that's something That Governor cox commented
on as, well AND i could not agree. More Now
i'm on social, Media ryan schuling in For Ross kaminsky
in this third and final hour The Ross Kominski show ON,
koa and you can follow me to freedom ON x
At Ryan schuling At chuling.

Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Last name Is.

Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
Dutch it's, weird like Gold member From Austin. POWERS i
have an extra vowel, Too so if you want to
buy a Vow i've got one for sale and it's
all yours if you want. It but WHERE i agree
is we need to take time to put down our.
Phones this is WHERE i never could understand.

Speaker 1 (01:04:15):
This in the first.

Speaker 3 (01:04:16):
PLACE i was a substitute teacher in The Chesterfield county
schools outside Of, Richmond virginia Mid lothian in the early two,
thousands and this is when cell phones were still relatively
in their infancy back, then and we didn't even have smartphones.
YET i think those the iPhone came out of what
two thousand and, seven something like, that around and around that,

(01:04:36):
time the first, one the first generation of. THOSE i
was also a grad student AT Cmu Central Michigan university
from three to, five AND i didn't have these. Problems
it's being on their. Phones but even IF i, Did
i'd be that. Guy i'd be that teacher that would
be polarizing in this. Way there would be kids and

(01:04:57):
parents that would love, me, like, oh, man you got
to get miss. Shooting he's, awesome blah blah. Blah and
then there would be many of the, oh he's a
right wing. LUNATIC i don't like. HIM i don't want
my kid in his. Classroom but WHERE i think many
parents might come. Together and that's what we're looking for
here in the wake of this horrible week that was
including the shooting At Evergreen High, school which we've been
talking about as, well and that is student enters the,

(01:05:21):
Classroom i've got a basket for, you and this is
where you're gonna put your cell phone while you're in
my class today and we're going to, learn and you're
not going to have your head buried in your phones
or using it to cheat or seek OUT. Ai and
maybe they do that on their own time With, HOMER
i don't even know how, you if you're a teacher out,
there take me through, this if you, would.

Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
Please how do you guard against?

Speaker 6 (01:05:41):
That?

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
NOW i, MEAN i caught a student, cheating but what
she did was she brought her boyfriend into the audio
production lab that very WANTONLY i might, add and had
him do her audio projects for her on the equipment
we had set. Up this was an audio lab In
Mount pleasant At Central michigan where there were four, stations
and she's just standing there watching him do the.

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Work and there's three other students In they're, like what
do you what's going on? Here my boyfriend?

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
Audio and of course somebody rated her out and she
ended up getting a failing. Grade but, now but now
you can go on the internet THROUGH ai and do
some kind of search and have somebody write a paper for,
you can HAVE ai write a paper for. You so
unless you know this is just my thumbnail sketch of,
it unless you know a student's writing, style kind of

(01:06:31):
propensity to use certain words or punctuation or mistakes that
they might take typically, make and now those don't exist
in the paper that's been turned. In maybe then you catch,
it BUT i can't believe it's one hundred. Percent and you,
know whether it's mathematics or anything, else you, know are
the students actually, learning, absorbing retaining this information and with?

(01:06:52):
Phones my answer to that would be. No their, attention
their focus is, divided it's. Diverted their attention spans are
far far, short now than they were twenty years ago
WHEN i was in the academic. Realm one other part about,
that before we go to, BREAK i got to get
used to this clock still that they, oh you got.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
To go to break right on the first.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Hour, there we'll get to your text as, well anything
that we've spoken about on today's, program or anything you'd
like to submit to the. Conversation you want to go off.
Topic It's, friday why not fifty six six. Ninety but
back to The Kyle clark topic and the two minutes
that he, delivered WHICH i agreed with, wholeheartedly one hundred.
Percent Kyle clark is an important voice in the sphere In,

(01:07:29):
Denver boulder and top, ratings all of. That it's kind of,
following and there are many like myself that are detractors
that aren't fond of. Him but never WOULD i ever
want anything bad to happen to him or any member
of his. Family in, FACT i tell my listeners all the,
time AND i have a feel an obligation to restate
this because you, know who, knows whether it's this show
over on my radio, show MAYBE i have some radical

(01:07:51):
listeners that are far to the right of, me and
they might take SOMETHING i say literally and act upon,
it and on no uncertain. Terms WHAT i want to,
emphasize be, respectful be, kind be, courteous show class and.
Grace To Kyle, clark if you ever see him in
public and he's out in the, bond he goes to the,
restaurant he goes grocery.

Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
Shopping i'm not going.

Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
To pull A Maxine waters here until you get up
in their face and you tell them THEN i welcome here.
Anymore now what kind of person does? THAT i disagree
With Kyle. Clark so what we're in the arena of.
Ideas we're doing battle with, words just like he, said
and he's. Right and my point going to break was

(01:08:32):
WHEN i was At Central michigan two thousand and three to.
Five granted it was a much different time again over
twenty years ago, now but in the broadcast In Cinematic arts,
department you might IMAGINE i was one of the only
right of center members of that, faculty whether it was
full time professorial status or me as a graduate assistant
kind of junior. Professor if you, WEREN'T i know that

(01:08:53):
the WOMAN i reported to by adore to this, Day
Heather pulinski very, much not of my political.

Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
Persuasion it wasn't a big deal of that. Time and,
folks we were in an election year right in the
middle of my grad student experience in two thousand and, four.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
And they KNEW i was a big Supporter GEORGE. W,
bush and they made fun of, me AND i made
fun of. Myself we had a great time about. It
AND i REMEMBER tc he was one of my fellow grad.
Students and picture if you, will you, remember if you're
a fan of The, simpsons the comic book store.

Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
Guy that was. Him that's how he looked at the
ponytail to.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
Everything he's a, liberal classical liberal, though and he, SAID
i may disagree with, you BUT i would fight to
the death for your right to say, it you know,
whatever that sort of.

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Thing and we would go out and have beers.

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Afterwards what was then Called Buffalo Wild wings and The
Third WING bw three was whack and we Had we
had a great, time and we liked each, other and it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
Wasn't a point of.

Speaker 3 (01:09:45):
Contention you're Supporting George. Bush, well He's, hitler although that
did come up at times back. Then if you, Remember
bush was Called hitler when you do. That you're crying
Wolf Bush's, Hitler McCain's, Hitler Romney's. Hitler well guess what
if Everybody's, hitler then nobody's HIT i Know trump is Really.

Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
Hitler and just wait in twenty twenty, eight whether IT'S.
Jd vance Or.

Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
Marco rubio Or Ron DeSantis or whoever, else that's the
nominee for The Republican party to pick up the torch For.
Trump you're going to get the op eds in The
New York times The Washington posts that read the, Following.

Speaker 1 (01:10:16):
This is WHY.

Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
Jd vance is even more dangerous Than Donald. Trump he
represents Trump, ism but he's smarter about.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
It that's.

Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
Coming brace, yourselves, and As Charlie kirk might, say prove me,
wrong Because i'm gonna put myself right in a couple of.

side Of hollywood today two pm over on six thirty K.

Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
O let's get some of your. Text five six six.

Speaker 3 (01:11:54):
Nine, zero ryan thanks for not crashing the nineteen eighty
Five Red. Rusty yugo, that's very, very specific and As
a Yugoslavian, DESCENDANT serbian i take great pride In. The
yugo one of the worst automobiles ever manufactured in the,
nineteen eighties and if you want evidence to, THAT end
i cite for you and those of you who Maybe

(01:12:15):
from MICHIGAN like i will. Remember this, it's TRAGIC so
i hate to make light, of it, but hey we're.
Coming up it's almost what is that the thirty sixth
anniversary of. This happening september, twenty second nineteen, Eighty Nine,
leslie pluhar thirty one years Old Of, royal oak died
when Her blue yugo nineteen eighty seven vintage plunged over
the thirty six inch high railing On The mackinaw bridge

(01:12:40):
and proceeded to fall to. Her Death the ugo that
was not good publicity, for THEM and i think shortly
thereafter was kind of out. Of production and, then Obviously
The mackinaw bridge took greater efforts to reinforce their, safety
standards the. Railings on it's a five five mile suspension
bridge was at the time like state of, the art

(01:13:00):
one of. A kind i think it Surpassed The Golden
gate bridge in terms of. Engineering technology and what it
does is it bridges The lower Peninsula, of michigan, the
trolls as the upers, call us up to The upper Peninsula.

Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
Of michigan and that happened almost thirty six years ago to.
The day.

Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
Uh yeah on the subject of students and how do
you kind of, filter cheating it has to be a
nearly impossible task for you teachers out there, these days
with all the various ways that that can.

Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
Be done.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
I've seen some teachers starting to do handwritten essays. DURING
exams i think this makes a lot. Of sense that's
really the only way to. Ensure it it's in their, own,
handwriting right not. Typed up but what do you do
about like, a paper a, term paper a, research paper a. Book,
report yeah to get to handwrite those two maybe the
kids even, Write Anymore and i'm serious.

Speaker 1 (01:13:50):
About that do you?

Speaker 3 (01:13:51):
Learn cursive do they do anything outside of, THEIR signature i.
FOUND myself i rarely write things down anymore. AT all
i have a, checkbook. Still yep i'm a gen x
or very few THINGS that i need. Checks for but
EVEN when i write, those out my hand cramps Up
because i'm not used to using those muscles and.

Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Writing anymore it's kind of sad. TO me i used
to have really, NICE handwriting. I think i.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
Don't know remember turn it in for papers and various.
Math assignments what a disaster that was on some papers
that every. College assigned there were only so many ways
to write them to make it unique for the, turn
in not to think it. WAS plagiarized i heard some
teachers give kids a test based on the paper they just.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Turned, in oh that would.

Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
Be great so when you wrote this portion of, It,
here ted what did you Mean by thermo?

Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
Nuclear?

Speaker 6 (01:14:37):
War?

Speaker 7 (01:14:38):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
WHAT uh i don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:14:43):
More of.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Your texts we close out through the final portion of,
Today's Program ryan schuling filling in bottom of. The hour

Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Right there are the good times? Really over? For good
is what. He's asking and this was An a. FACEBOOK
post i just pulled. That audio didn't it?

Speaker 3 (01:15:03):
Overly political he's just asking, a question and yet he
Said Rip. Charlie kirk he might not Agree with. CHARLIE'S
politics i don't Know what sammy's. POLITICS are i do
KNOW that i love. THE guy i think. HE'S awesome,
i mean as it comes to like quality of Human
van hagar to me greater Than. Van HALEN but i
just saw A van halen cover band and they. Were

(01:15:24):
awesome and here's. The thing not only did they sound Like. Van,
halen No nobody's Eddie. Van, halen okay let's just get
that out there. Right now but the Guy portraying Eddie,
VAN halen i Swear, to god Looked like Eddie. Van
halen like you could try to play, like him mimic
him being a cover band Of, Van halen but when
your mug Actually resembles Eddie, Van halen i'm getting a little.

(01:15:45):
Spooked there and over on bass it looked Just like Alex,
van halen. THE guy, i mean did you have like
casting calls? For this the guy that portrayed the, Lead,
singer now he was obviously in the Mold Of David
lee row who was a bit of a, loose cannon
went off did his own solo thing in a falling
out with the other Members Of, van HALEN and i

(01:16:07):
think even The van halen brothers there might have been some.
Friction there and then they Brought In. Sammy Hagar What
sammy hagar was and is is he's a. Glue Guy
and i've never heard a bad Word About. Sammy hagar
he's a. Good time he's The.

Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
Red rocker. You know he's just a few months younger than.
My Dad my dad's.

Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
Seventy eight sammy's gonna be seventy Eight, in october just
a month from. Right now he still looks, really GOOD
and i thought his voice sounded really good for. Late
seventies but that's a question to put out to the audience,
right now especially if you're of a certain GENERATION, Gen
X van halen Or. Van hagar which one did? You
prefer and why send? Those in at five six six

(01:16:47):
nine zero The Koa common spirit held text, LINE there i.

Speaker 1 (01:16:50):

Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Right now you should play Clips Of charlie kirk speaking
his bigotry and racist views here, We go there. We

this is the left's knee. Jerk response you go to,
a playbook you pull from the. Talking points you all sound.
The same you're parroting the and it's not based in reality. Or,
FACT now i got a couple of them here, for,
you texter and you may tell me you disagree. With

(01:17:17):
them but your, description bigotry, RACIST views i would require proof.
Of that we've been talking about the. Education system how
do you conduct. A test how do you know a student's? Not,
CHEATING well i think you might have been lifting. Some
notes so if you can find specific Evidence Of charlie
kirk being, a bigot, a, hater misogynist, a racist you

(01:17:40):
throw these labels.

Speaker 1 (01:17:41):
Around, you eh. That's it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
Conversation's over i've just qualified. This person they are rotten
and not saying you. Text her but there's plenty of
them out there on the left, Right, now well he
was a, bad guy so. Assassinating him that's not the
end of. The world, in fact maybe it's a. Good,
thing no that should not be.

Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
The.

Speaker 3 (01:18:02):
Response again let me roll. REVERSE here i always want to.
BE fair i want to call balls. And strikes pick
any member of. The left, let's see it's SOMEBODY who
i greatly dislike or. Disagree, with, okay uh don't mess
With The Zoran. Kami Mumdanni And president trump has given
him a new nickname here just weeks before.

Little communist you can put him in. Your pocket he's not. Very, big.

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
See that's how we deal with our, political adversaries AT
least i do with humor and. Good CHEER and i
Don't Want zoran mumdani to be elected Mayor Of New.
YORK city i think he'll run it into. THE ground
i think the city will turn into what it was
in the, nineteen seventies which was a vast wasteland of crime,
and debauchery porn, shops everywhere needles on. The streets heroin.

(01:18:56):
Addicts crime That Was New york city in, the seventies
And Then Mayor rudy giuliani Comes in republican mayor in.
The nineties it was a golden Age For New. York
city it, was clean it, Was safe they cleaned up,
the streets they got the criminals off. OF them i
Went To New york city back in the. Late nineties it.
Was glorious i'm, Walking around i'm Going, To brooklyn i'm In,

(01:19:17):
The bronx i'm taking. THE subways a lot of, PEOPLE
say i don't Know About. New yorkers, you know they're
they're kind of they're rough around the edges and. They're
rude what does this say about ME that i kind of?

Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
LIKE that i. LIKED them i get Along With.

Speaker 3 (01:19:29):
New yorkers they're straightened to the point they, you know
straight And, Note chaser you're not gonna get any fluff,
from THEM and i just. Go back this is one
of my favorite interactions With A. New yorker it Was Totally.
New york, You know i'm going To a Yankees game
YANKEE stadiumcause i want. That experience I'm a. Tigers fan
WHAT do?

Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
I Know and i'm on.

Speaker 3 (01:19:46):
The concourse and this is back when we still had,
paper tickets so this is like twenty five odd.

Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
Years ago i'm trying to figure OUT where. I go
i've never Been to YANKEE stadiumfore i don't where.

Speaker 3 (01:19:54):

Speaker 3 (01:20:24):
Oh man i'm, telling you once you, go there you'll
never go back. Anywhere else all kinds of celebrities have. Been,
there uh there's sandwiches or, you know they're one Of
those jewish delis, that's like, you know six inches of
the pumper nickel, or whatever and you.

Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
Only get mustard. ON it i was told exactly how.
To order and that's. Another thing it was kind of
like The.

Speaker 3 (01:20:41):
Suit nazi you, show up you got to come Correct
at katsas you don't, SHOW up i don't KNOW if
i want the prescriming or the root that you gotta
have it ready. Your order they're gonna get it on.
A Line and i'm proud. OF myself i got it.
Right there but you'll never have another sandwich. Like it
there's so much Wonderful About New. York city bringing this conversation,
full Circle And zorah mamdani is likely to. Ruin it

(01:21:02):
he wants to open the prisons and, the jails he
wants to set. Criminals free he wants to reduce. The
populations why would you just artificially, constrain that no matter who,
they are we're not going to GO above x number
of people in custody and, captivity incarcerated because that's. Not
fair we got to bring in uh equity and a

(01:21:23):
higher percentage. Of them are you know people that we're
trying to protect from? Being, marginalized YEAH and i don't
care if they. Committed murder let's let them out on.
The streets and we need to defund. The police you
have to defund. The police he's all over the. Social
media he's trying to walk. That back But how kenny
put that genie back in? The bottle do you want
to defund? The police you want to send a bunch

(01:21:43):
of social workers out there to negotiate with these people
holding their loved.

Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Ones hostage and maybe talk them down and. Prevent them
what are, you? Doing man do you have a death
wish for.

Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
Your city he wants to have government run grocery stores
that Turnout In, kansas city oh that shut down and
the whole supply chain. Got ruined and he does the
same Thing That bernie sanders and all these socialist borderline communists,
tell us is that, we, no, no no wait what
the breadlines And The soviet union was actually a, good
Thing Said. Bernie sanders not a, good thing, but okay

(01:22:14):
the whole notion of supply and demand and how you're
able to corner. The market and if it's totally, state
controlled there's. No competition guess what you're gonna run out. Of,
everything well and Then The soviet union they just didn't do,
it right And In kansas city they didn't have the.
Right plan if we just do it socialism the, right
way it, can work it will work and will care,

(01:22:35):
for everybody and there'll be no richer people and no,
poor people and everybody will be. The same oh, uh
oh where's the incentive, for achievement, for aspiration, for success?
For innovation when you forcibly not just level the, playing
field but you did a, bad job you get a
see you did a, Great job you get To see
we're not going to reward.

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Achievement, anymore no no more meritocracy that.

Speaker 3 (01:22:59):
Makes the people that don't achieve things Feel bad and
won't anybody think of their feelings because. They, failed well
Here's what i've done in, my career in. My Life when,
i've Failed and i've failed, a lot you. Fall down
you learn. From it you apply the lessons that you've
gained from. Set experience you recalibrate what you're going to do.

(01:23:22):
Going forward you set. A goal you set, a goal
and you develop a plan and a path and how
are you going to achieve? That goal and you have
to rely on yourself look out for. Number one you
can't count on other people to make things happen. For
you the best advocate for you. Is you you've got
to have, the gumption, the hustle, the desire the, want to,
the belief. The, Confidence well i've been beaten down by

(01:23:44):
a government that doesn't believe. In me how many of
these democrat run cities can you point to, and say you,
know what that's.

Speaker 1 (01:23:51):
A success.

Speaker 3 (01:23:53):
There, aren't many, if any that exists right now in,
real time and crime is out. Of control so my
belief is if Or on mumdani, Is Elected New york
city will go into. The, gutter however EVEN though i
viscerally disagree with virtually every policy Stance that, mumdani has
except for maybe this dynamic pricing thing, about concerts he
might have a point on.

Speaker 1 (01:24:14):
That one what's that?

Speaker 6 (01:24:15):
That?

Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
ONE aside i.

Speaker 3 (01:24:17):
Do not advocate support condone OR would i tolerate OR
would i even equivocate if any political violence were Perpetrated
against Zora.

Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
On mumdani that is not the HEADSPACE that i ever
want to.

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
Be IN and i see so, many people including on
our text, line here, like well, You Know charlie kirk
didn't deserve to. Get Assassinated but i'll stop you. Right
there first, of all you can just wash out anything
you said before, the butt and then what you really
meant was everything after, the butt and what happens after
the Butt Is charlie kirk was this fascist and he

(01:24:52):
espoused hatred and venom, and vitriol and he was evil
and maybe he kind of had it coming to Him
That matthew dowd FIRED. From msnbc that's how lunatic fringe that.
Take is and if you just reverse Engineer this. God
forbid let me. Preface this if anything were to Happen,
to zorammdani GUESS what i would. CONDEMN it i, wouldn't,

(01:25:17):
go well, you know he didn't, deserve it but you
know he was kind of, A communist so, things happen.

Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
How much of a jerk and a HOLE would i?

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
SOUND like i would call. MYSELF that i don't want
to be. That person so if, he wins tip of,
THE hat i don't. Like it we're going to have
to try to work our way back And Win New
york city back through elections and winning hearts and minds
and showing the failures. Of socialism that never thought growing
up in the halsionic days Of the reagan eighties and

(01:25:48):
my family enjoying. UNPRECEDENTED success, i mean we went from
living in the late seventies And the. Carter administration you
might need to put on, another Sweater Said. Jimmy carter
whoop turned down Your, thrtumstat.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
No This, is america what are you. Talking about we had.

Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
A leaky roof in a two bedroom Cottage, In, brighton
MICHIGAN and i remember a little kid having to move
pots and pans around to catch the water that was
dripping from.

Speaker 1 (01:26:16):
The ceiling that's where. We were in the.

Speaker 3 (01:26:18):
Late Seventies the sholing family and a working class would
have been an upgrade from where. We were que of the,
Nineteen eighties reagan.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Becomes.

Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
Present now it was a little shaky there in. The
beginning when my dad got a promotion. At work you got,
a raise and we got into, a ranch a nice
three bedroom House, In.

Speaker 1 (01:26:34):
Paintney michigan we had a yard and it.

Speaker 6 (01:26:36):
Was nice it.

Speaker 3 (01:26:37):
Was nice and then the, eighties happened and then my,
dad enjoyed unpreceded his success in. His job you can't
tell me that. Was coincidental the economy took off in. The,
eighties greed for lack of a, better word. Is good
greed when it comes to the pursuit, of, excellence yes.
Is good you should not be made to feel bad

(01:26:57):
for your success because guess what? You've earned it now speel. Other,
people well you had, white privilege? Were you maybe you
inherited a great deal. Of money and for those people
out there that, did more power.

Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
TO you i envy you.

Speaker 3 (01:27:09):
A Bit but i'm not gonna hate, the rich hate,
the rich tax, the rich punish, the rich and reward who,
the lazy those that, don't work those that don't pull their,
own weight that are expecting a government. Hand, Out now
god helps those who. Help themselves it might be you
might have been dealt a more. Difficult Hand and i'm
telling you, RIGHT now i was dealt to. Difficult hand

(01:27:30):
nobody gave, me anything, you know coming out. Of school
SO when i graduated from high school in nineteen, ninety
two there was a group. OF us i was the
president of, our Class Grass Lake, high school and the
gals had. Been talking so we're talking on the present,
vice president treasurer or second, or whatever and they had

(01:27:50):
been talking to some of. Our classmates for lack of a,
better word these weren't exactly academically. Inclined students and the
girls came, to me the president of, the class, and said,
you know we don't want to wear our honored tassels
because we don't want to make the kids who didn't
get them. Feel bad SO which, i said they can take.

(01:28:12):
A hike i worked my, ASS off i didn't go.
OUT partying i. PLAYED baseball i didn't want to get
kicked off. THE team i didn't drink in. HIGH school
i spent my. TIME studying i, Earned this i'm, wearing
it and all the guys on. My side it was
definitely guys versus girls in, this case, we're, like yeah Nowhere.
With ryan you should never apologize for. Your success this
is what the left wants you.

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):
To do don't.

Speaker 3 (01:28:33):
Do it and speaking of never Apologize For mandy, connell's
success and you?

Speaker 1 (01:28:38):
Brought it what? Is this what?

Speaker 6 (01:28:39):
That?

Speaker 17 (01:28:40):
Is Okay so i'm not saying my massage therapist might
be better than everybody else's, massage, therapist probably but my
massage therapist made me pumpkin muffins and chocolate zucchini muffins and.

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
A lot, of THEM so i am.

Speaker 17 (01:28:51):
SHARING them i did tell her to bring Them on
friday because there are so few people in the office
and not everyone deserves. A, muffin ryan you deserve A often. I,
do yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
You can you can. Have to oh, MY god i
think they smell. SO good.

Speaker 6 (01:29:08):

Speaker 1 (01:29:08):
Walked in we got.

Speaker 17 (01:29:11):
To chocolate do can you hear a pumpkin?

Speaker 1 (01:29:13):
Over THERE so i got a question, For. YOU mandy
i shouldn't use that kind of. Violent language this.

Speaker 3 (01:29:18):
Is a big controversial topic of, the day and that
is here we Are it's? September twelfth is it still
too early for pumpkin? Themed everything are we all in that?

Speaker 17 (01:29:27):
RIGHT now i feel like once you hit the official start?

Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
Of fall what is the official start?

Speaker 17 (01:29:32):
Of fall september? Twenty second is the is the? Official
autumnal But Really? Labor day like don't we all Think
Of labor day as kind of kicking?

Speaker 1 (01:29:41):
Off fall let me SEE if i got? This, right
okay so summer and winter are? There? Solstices yeah spring
and autumn are? THE equinox i? THINK right i have.
THAT right i hope that the equinox Is.

Speaker 17 (01:29:54):
On june it's the date, Is uh september, twenty second
and it Goes on december. Twenty first, Yeah so BUT but, i, mean,
honestly like the unofficial start of Fall Is labor day
because kids are all back in school and you can't
wear white anymore unless you live in a resort Community
in florida where white is Almost After?

Speaker 1 (01:30:16):
Labor, day yeah put the pineapple? Upside down oh? Stop
it what does? That mean what are those loof? As? Doing? Are?

Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
So okay best pumpkin themed item you've, ever had.

Speaker 3 (01:30:25):
And the worst pumpkin theme item You've had i'm. A,
PURIST okay i don't do pumpkin.

Speaker 17 (01:30:30):
SPICE lattes i don't do any of that stuff because
if you're drinking a pumpkin spice, spice latte what you
really like is cinnamon. And sugar that is What you're
that's what you enjoy in. Your coffee how? Many, calories,
Yeah Exactly so i'm. A purist i love. PUMPKIN bread
i make really good. PUMPKIN bread i haven't had these,
muffins YET but i think. Still amazing And then i've
had a pumpkin spice BEER that i honestly wanted to

(01:30:53):
punch someone in the face over it, WAS again i,
don't basically would you have some cinnamon sugar in? Your
beer that's what it tastes lot, it was, It WAS
but i don't like. Flavored beer i'm also a purist with.
MY beer i want my beer to taste. Like beer call, me,
crazy right?

Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
You know do you Drink Like? OCTOBERFEST bruzzes, i like like.

Speaker 17 (01:31:11):
A Heavier, darker octoberfest but an Ale a logger like,
pretty straightforward don't don't put any weird flavors. In there
the only Beer that i've ever truly ENJOYED that i
would consider having a. Flavor in It Was Ed's Cave
Creek chili beer Out of Okay, In Arizona.

Speaker 1 (01:31:26):
NEW mexico i.

Speaker 17 (01:31:27):
CAN'T remember i got IT when i was twenty one
years old as part Of a beer Of the month
CLUB that i was in love those if you want to,
Experience beers but that was before they started making IPAs
that i think try to.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
Taste BAD so i had a ballast point sculpin that's
Brewed In san diego and it was hob, and NARROW
and i wanted My Buddy jason nick to. Try it
he was my Producer, in lansing and he doesn't like
beers like. That all, he likes, you know bush light.
AND whatever i got it a man of.

Speaker 1 (01:31:53):
Simple taste will you please just?

Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
TRY this i love. This beer it's got a snap
to it had a nice little heat That's what i'm,
talking about burn on.

Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
The backside and he's a.

Speaker 3 (01:32:01):
Funny guy he could do stand. Up comedy he drinks
it and without this in a beat just doesn't make.
Your phase goes tastes like taco bell. Fire sauce.

Speaker 1 (01:32:10):
And that was the end.

Speaker 17 (01:32:11):
OF that i a response for anything IS when i
make my husband try SOMETHING that, i Love like brussels
sprouts or something, like that and he's, A gamer i,
try it but then the immediate, RESPONSE is i don't
know why anyone would eat.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
That, twice okay we'll take that as. A no we'll
just make that. A no what's coming up On The Mandy.
Connell show you.

Speaker 17 (01:32:31):
Know after the last, Two days ryan, and granted we
do have to talk about the fact that they have
finally caught the man who Allegedly Shot charlie kirk and
he seems like a.

Speaker 1 (01:32:38):
Real winner.

Speaker 17 (01:32:40):
After the last, TWO days i have, gathered up thanks
to my listeners On my, facebook page a series of
the stupidest topics in the history of. The world we're
gonna start with things to get caught in Your teeth

Ends, That yeah and ambrosia anything doesn't have coconut in,
It too.

Speaker 1 (01:33:28):
And marshmallows, green jello pineapple.

Speaker 17 (01:33:33):
Coconuts literally the worst thing you can put in. Eating fingernails.

Speaker 3 (01:33:37):
It's, disgusting yes my favorite candy bar of, all Time,
almon joy.

Speaker 1 (01:33:42):
