Speaker 1 (00:05):
Ripped off, so you don't have.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Come running.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Just as as you can.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Shooter's gonna help.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Come.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Man, this is the Troubleshooter Show now, Tom Martine, Welcome, Welcome,
my friends to the only show of It's Good. We're
here to solve problems, answer your questions, take your complaints,
make your life a little bit better. I got a
lot of deputies sitting around today. I got Suzanne with me.
We got Kelly answering your phone, Shannon operating the board.

(00:41):
Then we have Deputy Chopper sitting over there chopping on
the bit, ready to go after a bad contractor Deputy Scott,
an accountant trade ready to help you out with any
financial problems. You have Deputy d smelling good as always,
the only guy I know with the signature scent. Yeah,
it's kind of cool having everybody in studio. I love

(01:03):
having Suzanne in as well. I like getting a woman's
opinion occasionally. I think we're a male dominated show in
a way because pretty much Tom uh you know, forty
five years actually, I guess back in the day he
had didn't he have Primadonna? Does that sound right? I
want to say, Yeah, pri Madonna was a producer. Yeah,

(01:24):
and then sister Laurie eight.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Million years ago. You see which one did he sue?
I think he ended up suing.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
I think that pre Madonna ended up in all when
he went national.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah, quick story. I don't care if you know. I
don't mind. I just speak what's on my mind. I
actually heard over Thanksgiving. Tell me honestly, guys, by the way,
let me give the number out.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Let me do the basics. Three oh three seven one
three eight two five five.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
You've been ripped off taking advantage of we have recovered
over three hundred million dollars cash, merchandise exchanges, refunds. We
love digging our our teeth and we love helping. We've
got attorneys standing by from referral list, dot com, contractors,
you name it. We know all the good guys, and
we love exposing the bad guys. Maybe we can't help

(02:13):
you recoup money, but we can at least warn other
people if someone was a nightmare in your life. Now
I heard over Thanksgiving that I have no filter.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
I forget who even said it. I think it was
it the damn dinner table.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
We had twenty five people, and someone said it might
have been the new neighbors.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
They were a little shocked.

Speaker 7 (02:36):
I'm trying to figure out who didn't say that.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Oh, that's not fare.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
So you're in the recycling business, Mark, So funny enough,
right before we all sat down to dinner, you got
to figure twenty five people just walking around. Everybody's talking
to everybody, there's no one conversation. And I guess Suzanne
was talking to neighbor Nate and he was asking recycling.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
Oh no, no, well, okay, I'm sorry. Here's what happened.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
I was talking to our neighbor about recycling ahead of dinner.
You would not have known this conversation happened because you're
you know, mingling as well.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Sure, I watching football, drinking beer exactly because he was asking.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
He was looking to throw something away. He's like, do
you recycle? Okay, and I'm like, you know, we're going
to recycle, hell Mark and I we've never recycled.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I don't believe that. I think it's total.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
I know you're in the business. That's kind of why
I brought this Updy, but just and then I want
you to finish the story. But I have seen too
many shows, especially when I lived in New Jersey, about
these people paying for recycling and they literally followed the
recycling truck to the exact same landfill where the garbage goes.

(03:52):
No sorting, no nothing, and they charged for it.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
And they charged more, and they charged more for it.
So it goes in the same truck and into the
same sucking hole in the ground.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
It's unbelievable. I mean, they might as well dump it
into the ocean at some point.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
But he was asking.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
About that, well, so you know, he was I he
was asking about recycling. And then I'm like, do y'all recycle?
He says, yeah, but I'm pretty sure I don't know
where it goes, honestly, So okay, yes, we do recycle.
So then fast forward half hour hour later, we're at dinner.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
We're sitting down for our things.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
We're all we're all.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
In the same room, and I don't know how it comes.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Up at our table, but you yell out anybody who
recycles is a moron, and it's true, and you know,
like so new neighbor and just.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Got done asking about it.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, traditional Thanksgiving at the major family. Yeah, do you
have recycled?

Speaker 8 (04:50):
Ben?

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Oh my god, no, did you not?

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Did you not hear that? I truly believe and have
seen for my own eyes.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
A lot of these companies pick up your recycling, charge
you extra and dump it in the same place. Now,
I don't care. People out there are gonna are you,
Oh no, we've got a good recycler. I'm not saying
there's not good ones. But I'll ask you.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
You're in the business.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
I know you're.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Mainly just cardboard. That's a little different. But how often
does that actually happen when it comes to like ten
cans plastic water bottles. I mean, how much of it
do you think it's recycled?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Well, Mark, let me open by saying that for a
little more, we would actually take it all the way
to the ocean and dump it there for you four dollars.
You'll feed it to flipper for fifty bucks. We'll run
over spotted owl on the way back.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
If you want to say, God, you're killing me man.
So I mean, in general, you're in the business.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
And now, I granted I'm not in South Jersey anymore,
things were a little different. No, seriously, New York City,
South Jersey a lot of places where the trash is
basically ran by the government.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
It's as corrupt as he can get. If you ask me,
even more corrupt than you can.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, just like here now.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, I don't think is Denver actually forcing people to
use their trash service? Oh yeah, I know like Fort Collins,
I know, I think bolder other places are. I think
it's a total scam.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
It's a it's a very expensive thing that they do,
a taxpayer expense.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Yeah, and even if you don't have trash, they make
you pay to opt out.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah, that's Fort Collins for you, Denver. I don't think
there's an opt out fee on the garbage service, but
you don't have the options. So if you have a
single family residence in Denver, you have to have it. Yeah,
because the trash houlers are not going to be allowed
to provide you a trash service.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
It's crazy.

Speaker 9 (06:35):
Mark.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
I will say, you know when you made the comment,
it wasn't just about the neighbors, because I feel like
we're probably.

Speaker 7 (06:42):
In the minority with our friend group. Well are people
that don't.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
I feel like the majority of our friend group recycles.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
You think Mike and Steff recycle, it would be.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
The only ones I would say are more like us.
When you're saying any one new recycles is a moron,
I felt like you were insulting like three quarters of
our Thanksgiving family.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Okay, she'sating this picture.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
We're all sitting down at Thanksgiving dinner and like everybody's saying, Oh,
here's what I'm thankful for. And I just blurred out
in the middle of anywhere, people that recycle are morons.
Something led up. No, I said something.

Speaker 7 (07:23):
No, it's what I said at the beginning of this conversation.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I forget what led up to recycling at the dinner table,
but you just blurret that out really loud, because you're
kind of loud.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
See Mark, isn't it nice to get the woman's perspective
as you said? Three three seven one three eight two
five five.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Hey, Patty, how can we help you out?

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Hey, Patty, I guess Patty's not there. I don't know
what happened there on that.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Let's do this.

Speaker 4 (07:54):

going to break on time today. I'm gonna literally break

(09:46):
to the phones. Three zero three seven one three A
two five five. Hey Patty, what's going on with this
internet issue? And what does that mean? Internet issue?

Speaker 11 (09:58):
I'm just by a company based and voter that they
are discontinuing service center area.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
Well, what's the name of the what's the name of
the company, Patty? And is it a microwave company?

Speaker 12 (10:09):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (10:10):
Bero?

Speaker 1 (10:10):
How do you spell that? I haven't heard b E
r O.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
And they're discontinuing service. And I assume no one else
is picking up the slack or buying it.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
No, no, nobody.

Speaker 11 (10:22):
They purchased Peak Internet about three years ago.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I remember that.

Speaker 11 (10:27):
Yes, that they have not provided they have provided substandard service.
It's always been a list of excuses, like you live
in the forest. Yeah, yeah, In reality, we lived thirty
five miles from downtown Colraild Springs.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
Yeah, I got you. What area are you.

Speaker 11 (10:44):
At we're enforcing?

Speaker 12 (10:46):
Which is west.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (10:50):
I'm pretty curious, heyn would you, would you do me
a favor in text Mikey just to call in the
hotline real quick. He lives up there. I want to
see who he uses for a microwave there. What's wrong
with starlink? Why wouldn't you go with starlink? Or you
haven't even thought of that yet.

Speaker 11 (11:12):
It's our understanding that they want eleven hundred dollars upfront
from all of the people in ore, from a few
of the people in the neighborhood. Who does starlink wants
eleven hundred dollars up front?

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I don't think the equipment.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
I don't think that's right. No, in fact, I'm almost
positive that's wrong. I'm going to get someone up that
has both services right there in Woodland Park and knows
that area perfectly. Hold on, though, let's ask him. He
literally got starlink not long ago. I have starlink. I paid,
my goodness, I want.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
To say, four or five hundred bucks for the equipment
years ago. But my equipment's a little different because it's
for an RV. I have a buddy and the son,
and we'll ask Mike what he paid. I'm pretty sure
my son paid ninety nine or one hundred and ninety nine.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Bucks for the equipment. How much were you paying with
this bureau?

Speaker 11 (12:07):
They're always started out at ninety nine dollars a year
because I was working from home and head business service.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Well, whoa a year?

Speaker 11 (12:14):
I mean, I'm sorry, a month?

Speaker 5 (12:15):
Oh my god. I was going to say that's the
best price I ever heard. But where did they end up?

Speaker 11 (12:21):
They ended up a couple months discounting me, and then
they took us down to forty five dollars and said,
this is the only service product we can offer you.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Does she know I see those hotlines lighting ups us?
And does Kelly? Do you know I'm looking for a
call from Mike.

Speaker 7 (12:37):
Hold on one, Yeah, I know he's calling in right now.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Okay, hold on, I might be right there. Hold on, Patty,
We're going to find this out for you. So it's
not just you affected. There's a bunch of people affected.

Speaker 11 (12:48):
Our whole neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
Yes, how many people are in the neighborhood, Well, I'm going.

Speaker 11 (12:54):
To say about four or five hundred residences.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
And if I'm in neighborhood, if I'm coming up from
Colorado Springs and I'm going up towards West Creek. Do
I where are you guys from there?

Speaker 11 (13:08):
So you would you would go with them parts to
Highway twenty four.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
Got it?

Speaker 11 (13:12):
And then you would go into Divide or floors and
then go north.

Speaker 5 (13:17):
All right, I got it.

Speaker 11 (13:18):
Neighborhood goes through three zip codes.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Hey Mikey, here we go.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
Hey man, you've got do you Who did you have
for microwave when you moved up? There was it bureau?

Speaker 14 (13:31):
Uh No, that was Teller WiFi.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
It was Teller WiFi. But you've been using nothing but
Starlink now.

Speaker 14 (13:38):
Yeah, for like three years?

Speaker 1 (13:39):
And is it great or what is it phenomenal?

Speaker 14 (13:42):
I get two hundred meg plus where I'm at and
I have obstruction with tall trees and.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
You have obstruction with no problem. What did you pay
for that equipment? Because I know you bought a Mini
you were telling me about for your boat.

Speaker 14 (13:55):
Yeah, so the Mini is about five or that I'm sorry,
the regular package it was like five. The Mini was
like four to ninety nine For the equipment. It's basically
the same satellite, but the equipment comes with the router,
it comes with the t And.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Then how much your house? How much do you pay
per month? At your house per month, not the Mini,
but it's your house.

Speaker 14 (14:16):
Yeah, so just the house is one twenty a month.
That is their larger plan, the larger bandwidth plan. They
have a plan that I want to say is like
eighty dollars a month, which is very close. It's like
one hundred medcap or something along those lines. But the
two hundred plus package is one to twenty a month.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
And setting it up, it's just like I do on
the RV. You just throw it outside in BAM. I mean, granted,
if it's on your house, you're probably gonna want to
mount it.

Speaker 14 (14:41):
Yeah. It comes with a mount, like a little triangular
amount that would actually sit on a roof peak. You
can buy the poles and all that kind of thing
to side mount it to the side of your house
and all that sort of thing. It's all available from
Starling's website. But it's a very simple setup. You literally
unbox it, pointed at the sky, download the app, and
about fifteen minutes later you're online.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
See I'm pretty sure Miles bought his. I'm looking right now.
The Starlink Mini is now two hundred and ninety nine bucks.
I'm almost positive he got his on sale. At Walmart
for like ninety nine bucks. And I'm not kidding, in fact,
I'm looking for I'm looking right now.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
Would that many work? Go ahead, Mike, No.

Speaker 14 (15:20):
I'm just saying. I mean there are different retailers that
sell them. But I looked actually a couple of days
ago for another buddy of mine moving to Evergreen, and
it looked like they had especially going right now where
the equipment is free on the website, on.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
The website itself.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
When's the last time you looked on the website, Patty.

Speaker 11 (15:38):
I haven't had a chance to look yet, so.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
I can tell you right now it's not one thousand bucks.
And I can tell you something else. It is way
way better than microwave by far. In fact, the latency
I can broadcast anywhere in the work well, I won't
say the world anywhere in the country now with almost
zero latency even compared to my centrally Century Lake at

(16:01):
home residential service.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Yeah, you're right, Mike.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Listen to this, So Patty, go to starlink dot com
residential service starting at forty bucks a month in select area,
no upfront hardware costs at all zero.

Speaker 11 (16:16):
All right, I'll go take your looks in Yeah, tell.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Your neighbors too. You're gonna love it so much more.
Like Mike said, two hundred what were you getting my
two hundred up? Two hundred down? And what did you
used to get on that microwave thing?

Speaker 12 (16:28):
You had maybe a third of that a third of.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
It for about the same price too, huh.

Speaker 14 (16:35):
And granted there because of where I am and because
of obstructions with trees, yeah, I didn't have a perfect
line of sight, so I had a delimited service compared
to what some other people might be able to get
with the same microwave set up there.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
But the starlink is a no brainer, Patty, just give
go to starlink dot com, get it ordered, simple as that.
And I'm seeing an advertisement right here if you don't
want to wait for it to show up. It looks
like you can edit at Walmart for one hundred and
ninety nine bucks.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
So that's about.

Speaker 7 (17:04):
It, all right, all right, thank you guys.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
And I'll tell you one other thing.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
I got her on hold and Mike, here's what we
did at my son's house. So you go on to Amazon,
you buy the starlink. He bought his Walmart for ninety
nine or one hundred and nine. And if you have
an old Dish network or Direct TV, one of those
horseshoes on the roof four bolts, you can yank that
satellite because almost no one uses o's anymore. And then

(17:30):
they sell amount on Amazon for nineteen bucks where you
can take your starlink and attach it directly to that
pole and it's not like the old satellites where you
had to dial that in and if you've ever done
that yourself, it is horrible. It basically you just pop
it up and it works perfect. Now, listen, we've got
a lot of cook and I'm glad we could help

(17:50):
her out. Thank you, Mike Thomas. By the way, if
you're looking for the right guy for your network, I'm
going to give Mikey a nice little push here.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Here's the bottom line. Here's what Mikey does.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
In fact, he does it for some of our YouTubers.
In fact, for Tim if you have say five, six,
up to one hundred computers in your organization and you
need someone to kind of remotely manage them, and what
that means is basically he can remotely manage help people
out with email, and he does it all for a
monthly price, and I've been using Mikey well you know,

(18:23):
full disclosure. He's a great friend of the family, including
uh his wife was Suzanne. But for my god, how
long have we known him? Twenty five years?

Speaker 7 (18:30):
Yeah, close to Mark.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
He used to.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Manage one of my computer stores called Mountain Peak Computers.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
All right, Julie's got something to donate to charity. We
got an update on a Verizon issue. I'm not sure

because just Like dennis was so, frustrated just Like i've been,
there everybody in this room's been, there and somehow he's
still a customer thanks to.

Speaker 5 (27:10):

unique part is you can actually type in what you
want to donate, to in other, words breast cancer for,
example or colon cancel or small children or starving, children,

(30:34):
whatever so you can search by, that or you can
search by exactly what you kind of want to do
to see if they're top, rated and see if it's.

Speaker 5 (30:44):
LEGIT i mean really it's not even it doesn't even
really have to do with top.

Speaker 4 (30:48):

only what four months, ago and that's From Senator Michael.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Ahead, Hey, Mark so here's WHAT i found by looking
At morokisolar dot. Com so this is supposedly Their colorado web.
Page it does say that the Service Colora springs And. Denver,
however the phone number has an eight to five ZERO aera,
code which Is. Florida so If susan is, correct which
sounds like she, is and The florida company is. GONE

(41:45):
i think this was just The florida company trolling for
customers In colorado and pretending to be A colorado.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
Company well, yeah or it's just a marketing, company meaning
they just find someone else to put it. In but
WHAT i really want to figure out with her is
what happened or solar credits if she has, any and
then is the solar system. Working if she wanted solar
and it's literally like offsetting her, electricity it doesn't sound

(42:10):
like she's unhappy with the exception of the tax. Credits
she doesn't quite know how to use. Them did you
pick that?

Speaker 1 (42:16):
Up, no it wasn't easy for me to follow the.
Call but if the question is just about the status
of the solar, credits Then brooke would be a wonderful
resource to. ASK i would be a good right because
she deals with this for a. Living solar, credits.

Speaker 4 (42:30):
Yeah and curious if the COMPANY i know that company
on lease deals can keep.

Speaker 5 (42:35):
THEM i think the company can keep.

Speaker 4 (42:37):
Them in, GENERAL i know like car companies can keep
electric car, credits And i'm pretty sure if they, lease
like If tesla leases you a solar, system they might
get to credits back when they had residential.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Credits, okay that totally makes sense because they're the owner of,
it then the.

Speaker 5 (42:54):
System So i'm not even.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
Sure what's weird is she's saying they don't have, paperwork
they just have nothing on. IT i feel bad for,
it AND i hope they can get their. Daughter THREE
o three seven one three eight two five five three
oh Three, MARTINO i want to ask you guys something
while we're waiting on. That we got a couple lines

Speaker 7 (43:28):
Poor Little mini awesy.

Speaker 5 (43:29):
Mars, yeah check it. Out she had pancrea. Titus, yeah
and uh a stomach ulcer and a stomach. Ulcer so
they put her on Mad she's doing, better but it
was thirteen hundred bucks for they did AN x, ray they.

Speaker 7 (43:43):
Did an ULTRASOUND x, ray, yeah and.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
Then the medication and then of course you know the
doctors of. This, yeah so where do You we'd never
draw a line at thirteen hundred. Bucks But i'm, saying
where do you draw? It we were talking to people Over,
thanksgiving dropped twenty.

Speaker 7 (44:01):
Five grand in a year's time and the dog died, Anyway.

Speaker 5 (44:05):
Yeah eight months later that was over twenty five. Grand,
yeah but someone was just telling us eight or ten? Grand,
yeah who was?

Speaker 4 (44:13):
That Old mike And. Stephanie oh, Wow mike was on first. Hour,
yeah they. Dropped stephanie was telling me they. DROPPED i
want to say ten grand in one of their.

Speaker 6 (44:24):
Dogs, well, Okay, mark this is the thing with. Me it's, like,
okay we're fourteen hundred dollars. In then they, say, oh
it's another, thousand and it's, like, well we're already fourteen
dollars fourteen hundred, in what's another you? KNOW i mean
that's sort of my mindset when we start spending money
on a.

Speaker 5 (44:40):
Pup the worst we ever did WAS. SeeU i was
not happy with that at.

Speaker 7 (44:46):
All we brought her almost four.

Speaker 4 (44:48):

Joy and there was nothing they could do but tell
us here was fluid around his.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Joy you. Know as frustrating as that, IS i do
want to bring up the fact THAT i discovered a
very reasonably priced service veterinarian, service.

Speaker 5 (45:39):
Like an insurance or an actual actual.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Clinics so it's operated By Max. Fund oh and it's
called The Max Fund Animal Wellness. Center and they're downtown
kind of like around eleventh And cherokee or. So AND
i started using them BECAUSE i happened to live very
close to, there so it was super. Convenient now And
i've found the think they're cheap well. People i've been
used them for about five years, now oh, wow and

(46:03):
it's a part of a, nonprofit and they do encourage
people to come in and use their service because that's
one of the ways they generate revenue for the Entire
Max fund. Operation and the typical service office visit is
ABOUT i think About they published their prices on their,
website but it's about sixty. BUCKS i found lab Work i've.
HAD i had a very sick, cat and the lab

(46:23):
work averaged me about twenty maybe twenty five dollars per.
Visit i'm hundred hundreds right. Now i'm not saying it's
the same lab work that you. Used it was stunningly,
cheap and then the prescriptions were stunningly. CHEAP i paid
anywhere from six to Eight the most expensive PRESCRIPTION i
filled for this cat was sixteen.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
Dollars we got our first dog from, Them oh, So
i'm pretty sure or Maybe alley Was our first dog
Was adobe Or?

Speaker 5 (46:52):
ALLEY i think it Was, adobe A, doobe, big.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
Big, doberman one hundred, pound Beautiful, doberman got from The Max.
Fund in, fact we would work on their cars for
free for The Max. Fund they would bring them into
the good years and we would do. That but we
got our first dog there and it's a great. Organization
three oh three seven one three eight two five. Five

exactly what's going. On but she bought a solar, system
or at least had one installed.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Roughly a year.

Speaker 4 (48:08):
Ago apparently it's up and, running but they're trying to
figure out the tax credits and how to get the tax.

Speaker 5 (48:15):
Credits is that about, Right? Elizabeth i'm sure can you repeat? That,
Yeah so what's going. On is this the, Daughter, yeah
this is the. Daughter, okay so tell us what's going.
On help me out with your mom's.

Speaker 17 (48:30):
Issue, Yeah so we got solar and all of a,
sudden The muraki it's By Muraki, solar and the company
all of a sudden went out of. Business and so
now we don't know they were handed off to Like
Freedom solar or.

Speaker 15 (48:47):
Something so we've been trying to get a hold of them.

Speaker 17 (48:50):
In order to just talk about our, solar, right and
so we can't get a hold of. Them Freedom forever
doesn't call us back or. Anything so and they had
sold the business to. Them so now we're just like
paying on this. Solar AND i don't know if it's
an issue or, not BUT i think it's an issue

(49:10):
because we're paying on some product we can't get help.
WITH i got sent a number that's like way, overseas
and what.

Speaker 5 (49:19):
Is the actual what is the actual problem do you
think you?

Speaker 8 (49:23):
Have right?

Speaker 17 (49:23):
Now we're paying for this solar that like nobody.

Speaker 15 (49:28):
Owns like we own, it but and now we have they.

Speaker 17 (49:32):
Didn't tell us about a tax credit or, anything so
now we're over paying for the. SOLAR i feel LIKE
i don't think it's benefiting anybody you?

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Know, yeah so does the solar?

Speaker 12 (49:44):
Work?

Speaker 5 (49:44):
Though is it offsetting your Electric?

Speaker 17 (49:48):
NO i mean we're our bill is still one hundred
dollars or sometimes it's one hundred and.

Speaker 1 (49:52):
Thirty how much was he prior to the? Solar how
much was it prior to?

Speaker 14 (49:58):
Solar the?

Speaker 11 (49:59):
Same?

Speaker 15 (49:59):
Right?

Speaker 17 (49:59):
Mom about one hundred to one hundred and, thirty sometimes
two hundred. Two maybe it's offsetting it a little.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
Bit BUT.

Speaker 4 (50:10):
I guess What i'm trying to figure out is do
you think it's actually working or you think it's not even.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
WORKING i don't even.

Speaker 17 (50:17):
Think it's, working because, like if it was, working why
are we paying a solar bill or a energy?

Speaker 4 (50:23):
Bill, well it depends how much electricity you guys. Use
that's why it was like how much was it before and.

Speaker 5 (50:28):
After on the?

Speaker 1 (50:30):
Bill who do you guys Have?

Speaker 5 (50:31):
Excel have you?

Speaker 1 (50:32):
Looked is there any net metering on the actual? BILL
i can, look let me.

Speaker 17 (50:39):
SEE i didn't get a bill yet this, month BUT
i can look again BECAUSE i don't know how to
get into.

Speaker 4 (50:44):
It i'm curious if they ever GET i don't know
if they ever got it hooked hooked up to the,
GRID i would assume they. DID i wonder If, brooke
who is our solar, expert could actually looked at up.
Someway BUT i would think it is on one hundred.
PERCENT i would think it is on Your excel.

Speaker 17 (51:07):
Bills, Sean but how can we have to pay like
this company that's not available to us? Anymore, so, WELL
i think what.

Speaker 4 (51:14):
Happens to, Listen, LISTEN i understand your. Frustration you bought
solar from a company it looks like it's out Of.
Florida and the bottom line is they went out of.
BUSINESS i mean they're, not or at least they're from
what we can, see they went out of. Business but
a couple of, things if it makes you feel a little,
better we have a company that if you had a
warranty issue with the, parts not necessarily the, labor they'd

(51:37):
probably be able to step in and help.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
You but hold, On.

Speaker 4 (51:41):
Elizabeth the other, thing, though IS i want you to
understand it probably went through a finance.

Speaker 5 (51:46):
Company, yeah we.

Speaker 7 (51:48):
Did we went through.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
Dividend, yeah and you're gonna owe them no matter what,
Happens you're gonna owe dividend whatever amount of money it.
Is so, YEAH i wouldn't stop paying them because they
could come after you or come after your. Mother but,
really What i'd like to figure out is do you
have tax credits you can use or does your mom
have tax? Credits and then the other Thing i'd like

(52:12):
to figure out is if the solar's actually. WORKING i
truly would think, UH i would think That brooke or
someone over, There, suzanne you, know if she's around.

Speaker 5 (52:23):
Today we were talking about her this. Morning i'm not real.

Speaker 7 (52:26):

going to try to get in touch With. Brooke and

of where the actual solar was connected or, sold the
actual address of your mom's. House all, right three h

(53:46):

an outbound call to our. Caller get him back on
the air so we can hear his actual. Questions, yeah
And i'll be happy to discuss. Anything how much money
have you recovered from that this year to? Date pretty
close to about thirty thousand bucks this year.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
Thirty thousand bucks from unsolicited.

Speaker 1 (54:03):
Texts, yeah they're All. Now it's important to note That
i'm not suing scammers, right because it's very difficult to find. Scammers,
yeah people out on their. Basement And i'm suing space
well in. Overseas of, Course i'm super actual.

Speaker 6 (57:20):
Bought, yeah we have two, motorcycles twin motorcycles sitting in
archarage for the last nine years that have never had
regular tags put on, them and we've never ridden them
once other than the day we bought.

Speaker 7 (57:31):
Them and there what are they Called paggio's or what

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Husho maybe it is.

Speaker 5 (57:49):
FRESH i had a bicycle by.

Speaker 7 (57:51):
Then that's the dumbest purchase you've ever, made all.

Speaker 5 (57:53):
Right SO i bought to, listen there's three.

Speaker 6 (57:55):
Wheels never we've never ridden, them we've never tagged, them
and they have not come out of our garage since
the day you bought.

Speaker 21 (58:02):
Them what's the ones you take on THE rv, trip,
right that's sus. Crashes, no so these are electric. Scooters
these these, True these are two fifty. Ccs they're matching
and they're really weird. Looking you, guys three.

Speaker 5 (58:19):
Wheels they're technically a, scooter but truly they drive like a.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
Motorcycle and there's two tires in front and one in the.
Rear it's nothing like people are used to. Seeing they
at one point were big over and wherever. THAT i
think They're, italian but you could be. Right they Sound.
French and the only REASON i bought. THEM i don't
even remember.

Speaker 6 (58:41):
Why you had this great idea that you AND i
would be like this motorcycle couple running around.

Speaker 7 (58:48):
TOWN i, know.

Speaker 11 (58:51):
AND i.

Speaker 20 (58:52):
Wasn't tom had a name for the true motorcycle with
you know the wheels in.

Speaker 5 (58:58):
Front, oh, no that's that's uh, god they someone called
on one the other.

Speaker 4 (59:03):
Day he begins with, This, yet those things are wild
because anywhere you, go Like Las, Vegas, california they rent them.

Speaker 5 (59:11):
Everywhere do?

Speaker 1 (59:12):
THEY i MEAN i rode a three wheels.

Speaker 5 (59:14):
CAR i think those are technically a.

Speaker 1 (59:16):
CAR i don't.

Speaker 4 (59:19):
KNOW i Think i'm pretty sure they're a. Car you're
talking about the ones with two wheels in, front, Right
but it's like a. Car there's two people that sit
side by side they. Can, Yes i'm almost.

Speaker 5 (59:30):
Positive unlike uh Like Peter boyles has a trike and
that's a three.

Speaker 4 (59:36):
Wheeler BUT i think that's called a. Motorcycle what is
the name of that damn thing he's talking. About i'm
almost positive that's a. Car Good tom calls them spiders or. Something, Canam, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (59:47):
CANAM i think makes.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
Them that was the original name for.

Speaker 4 (59:50):
Him, well Can AM's a. Manufacturer they make what you
guys are talking. About have you ever driven?

Speaker 6 (59:57):
One?

Speaker 20 (59:57):
NO i drove a trike like. BOILS i, mean real
people put two wheels behind.

Speaker 13 (01:00:02):
You you?

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
Did do you drive? One? Now? NO i sold?

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
It but why do you sell?

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
It kind of like?

Speaker 20 (01:00:08):
You you, know a satin a man cave forever AND
i didn't use. IT i GOT i drove one on
THE pd. TOO i drove.

Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
It i'll be honest with, MOTORCYCLES i bet did you
just start thinking you might?

Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
Die that never worried. Me it was just a lack of, use,
really just lack of, use and you sold.

Speaker 20 (01:00:26):
It, yeah because at that point in Tom, MARK i
worked AT, fema SO i was always gone during the.
Summer i'd come home during the coldest part of the
year and drive. It AND i wasn't going to drive,
it even though you KNOW i was a three, wheeler you,
KNOW i.

Speaker 5 (01:00:40):
FO i finally thought i'd.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Die we took a.

Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
TRIP i just would drive like a maniac on my crowch.
ROCKET i truly THOUGHT i would just. Die do you
ever have a, Motorcycle? Dimitri oh, no, no, no, no, no,
No why because.

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
You're afraid of? Them Because i'm afraid of dying on. One, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:55):
Exactly it's not even the.

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
DRIVER i never.

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
THOUGHT i, MEAN i drove like a maniac WHEN i
was in my. Twenties but even when you're not driving
like a, maniac it's one dude in a car running
a red light and your toast or just not even
seeing you not even, SEE i had an employee that
got hit and got thrown like fifty yards and he
was in the hospital in a coma for like thirty.
Days he didn't wear a helmet the whole.

Speaker 6 (01:01:18):
Bit, yeah we had that, Friend brian's son who was
In florida all motorcycle and went off the off off
a ramp highway.

Speaker 7 (01:01:26):
Ramp picture like the kid not too long.

Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
Ago picture LIKE i twenty five guys coming From Castle
rock Through parker and you're gonna hop On sea four
seventy going West seafour seventy nine e four and you
go over that big turn and you're above. Everybody he
literally flew, off hit the wall on. Something it wasn't.

(01:01:52):
There it was In, florida but he hit the wall and.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
Flew it was.

Speaker 5 (01:01:56):
Ridiculous his dad said he flew one hundred and fifty
two hundred yard yards to his. Death AND i, Mean
i'm sure he was alive the whole time in the.
AIR i, MEAN i don't think hitting the wall on
the motorcycle just threw them over the.

Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
Wall it's. Terrifying, yeah, man just another reason to avoid,
motorcycles you. Know for, me NOW i realize that some
people are just they love. Them they're, dangerous they gladly
or they willfully accept that. Risk more power to. THEM
i have nothing against.

Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
THOSE a lot of people driving their whole lives and
never have an. Issue OH i think that's probably most motorcycle. Rider,
YEAH i would, guess so it's kind of. Crazy we
were on our Little. Suzuki this wasn't long. AGO i
don't even really consider it a. Motorcycle, WELL i, mean
it's definitely a, motorcycle but it's only a two point
fifty and it's an. Enduro and when we used to

(01:02:44):
go on our v trips before we started bringing a,
car we would put it on the back and we
would just bring to different. Places but we were on
slip rock and ut.

Speaker 7 (01:02:55):
YEAH i don't know if that's called slip rock or slick.

Speaker 5 (01:02:59):
Rock, yeah and we basically fell.

Speaker 5 (01:04:12):
Fun off road is so. Funny that was the especially fun.
Part up in a moab and. Stuff that's where they're really.
Fun even the four. Wheelers they're not four wheelers side
by sides and. MOTORCYCLES i don't think i'd want a
four wheeler up. There and then you used to Drive,
chopper that other, one you, KNOW i go back and

when those bars were around In colorado and you guys
went to, them were people drunk.

Speaker 1 (01:12:35):
Lift out of their? Minds they probably the dam owned. Whiskey, well,
NO i never saw, That but WHAT i did see

In those bars were so wild that there're before off
Duty denver osters in them keeping the.

Stairs but all standing one just watching you. Entertainment.

Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
Yeah, see until you guys told me, THAT i almost
kind of always pictured those places as like really. Mellow
like we go to. Breweries we don't go to. Bars
breweries are as mellow as he. Gets i've never seen a.
Fight the only Fight i've ever seen in a brewery
is maybe two, dogs because you can bring your dogs
in and sometimes there's a mean, dog but you, know

(01:14:05):
then the owner yanks him and it's.

Speaker 5 (01:14:06):
OVER i, MEAN i just never seen fights and. Breweries
it's so weird hearing that three to two. Alcohol there
was a lot more going on.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
There But, mark you got to remember their target clientels
eighteen year old guys, right who just started drinking for
the first, time and they're in high. School and then
there are girls around and clove. Cigarettes, peacock They're peacock's
exactly what they drank by the. Picture they didn't drink
by the. BOTTLE i mean you would hold so you'd

(01:14:36):
put it was all in, pictures so you put your
hand through the pitcher handle so they could hold a
home kind of you, know.

Speaker 5 (01:14:43):
Sacination, courage binge. Drinking oh boy did they?

Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
Ever and you walk in and all you hear is
this constant ding of quarters being like powers off these long.

Speaker 5 (01:14:53):
Long like hostyle. Table we all played. Quarters yeah that's. Crazy, Hey,
rick how can we help?

Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
You what's going?

Speaker 14 (01:14:59):
On?

Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
Well first two things BEFORE i ask about reverse mortgage
an Old my wife is an.

Speaker 5 (01:15:08):
Old uh never say my wife is an old, anything.

Speaker 15 (01:15:13):
But go, Ahead rick shot cut her time over At Stout.

Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
Street, oh those rules were mostly forgetting eighteen year old
girls and don't let them kid.

Speaker 5 (01:15:23):
You yeah that's WHAT i was.

Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
Thinking, YEAH i know that for a.

Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Fact, uh the. Stagecoach first TIME i was, THERE i
was riding a scooter and uh they jumped in last. Time, well, no,
NO i was A Harley.

Speaker 12 (01:15:40):
Driver, cool but last TIME i was there was about
a month.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
Ago.

Speaker 5 (01:15:43):
Yeah it's cool, looking isn't.

Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
It, yeah it kind of enjoyable.

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
Anyway, Uh i've got a.

Speaker 3 (01:15:51):
Sheelock coming out of its drop period and going into
the permanent loan.

Speaker 5 (01:15:56):
Period yeah where they, start you got to start painted off.

Speaker 3 (01:15:58):
Yep, yeah no problem. There i'm pushing eighty years. OLD
i got a bunch of, equity So i'm thinking of
doing a reverse. Mortgage, yeah, well what's the advice on?
That you, know of course everybody is offering reverse, mortgages
but those like brokers.

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Or, yeah well this is.

Speaker 5 (01:16:18):
DIRECT i wouldn't Even i'd go WITH cmg no matter.

Speaker 4 (01:16:20):
What because you're going direct with the, lender you're going
to have the lower fees compared to most, brokers and
then you're also going to have the best interest.

Speaker 5 (01:16:29):
Rate, yeah there is an interest rate tied to. It you're,
eighty so there's no.

Speaker 4 (01:16:34):
Problem BUT cmg for people over fifty, five actually have
a product they can.

Speaker 5 (01:16:41):
Do, really it's is a reverse mortgage good for?

Speaker 4 (01:16:44):
You as an entirely different, question, though IF i was
going to get, One i'd go directly WITH. Cmg there's
no doubt about. It they might do more than. Anybody
everybody else is going to mark them up or a
lot of. Brokers that's how they make their. Money but,
but but but if you, do you need the. MONEY i, mean,
really that's what it comes down. To do you want
to leave the house to? ANYBODY i, mean, like what

(01:17:07):
is your.

Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
Circumstance, well obviously to supplement income and take a draw. Off,
yeah that's kind of WHAT i use it. FOR i
use it more like a helock.

Speaker 1 (01:17:18):
Too if they offer Those, yeah they, do they do big.

Speaker 5 (01:17:22):
Time there's numerous different. Things let's do. This Get john
on real. Quick let's get the man.

Speaker 4 (01:17:27):
ON i, mean this guy's done more reverse mortgages And
i've taken calls ON i mean, honestly and let's ask
him the real questions whether it's. Good we have a
lot of people in our audience that are up Around tom's,
age and they, literally of, course are asking about reverse
mortgages all the. Time some of the THINGS i do
know is it'll eat up equity a little. Quicker But

(01:17:49):
i've never understood this from people Like i've never understood this.
Call and, guys please jump in with. THIS i don't
want to do it BECAUSE i want to be able
to leave the house to the. Kids so, meanwhile they
call into the show because they're kind of. Struggling they
don't want to have to make that mortgage payment, anymore

(01:18:09):
or they want to get access to some of the.

Speaker 5 (01:18:11):
Equity they've been building their whole. Life but they're thinking
of their children.

Speaker 8 (01:18:17):
Long.

Speaker 5 (01:18:17):
Term and there's nothing wrong with thinking about your.

Speaker 4 (01:18:20):
Children we all want to do, it BUT i don't
understand the mentality to where you would live somewhat, broke
not enjoying what you refer to as the golden years
because you want to leave the house to the. KIDS i,
mean you guys are older than. ME i, Mean, choppard
does this ring any bells with?

Speaker 13 (01:18:38):
You or Is?

Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
Scott? Oh, YEAH i have a reverse AND i love.
It you do love?

Speaker 19 (01:18:44):

that he's not going to get much WHEN i pass.

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
Away see?

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
That, Okay, okay just what you just said there drives me,
crazy not about, you but about your.

Speaker 2 (01:18:57):

Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
That everybody else thought the guy was. Nuts there was
a Guy i'm not going to say his, name and

would go to these bath houses to get. Meth, okay
and he called up and left a, message uh With.
Tom i'm not sure if they was At fox thirty
one or where it, was but it was literally For,

(01:24:03):
tom and he left messages for a lot of. People
But tom literally called him, back AND i Think tom
thought he was crazy at first because the, GUY i,
mean he's a meth addict and he was trading sex for.

Speaker 5 (01:24:15):
METH i, mean that's what this guy would.

Speaker 4 (01:24:17):

It but, literally one of the men That i'm meeting
in these bath houses and Then i'll go over and
we'll meet at hotels and stuff and blah blah blah
Is Sheriff. Sullivan, god how. Embarrassing and you've got to
think to, Yourself, oh this guy's. Crazy, YEAH i, mean

(01:24:39):
what are the. Chances, hell they named the jail after
the guy it was that was his, place, literally, Right
So tom set up a sting with this guy that called,
him and sure, enough guess who shows?

Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
Up Pat, Sullivan oh my, god literally showed. Up had
the cameras. Out tom got the whole. Thing he is
one percent the reason that went, down and that incredible story.

in law enforcement for decades and then he allegedly, got you,
know sucked into. Drugs right.

Speaker 5 (01:25:12):

You my, god what won't it do to?

Speaker 13 (01:25:16):
You?

Really if you think about, that if you're so bad
you got to go trade old. Men if you're in
your twenties or teens and you're going to trade old
men meth for, SEX i, mean it's just.

Speaker 1 (01:25:29):

the megachurch people who got in trouble in those, days
it's hard to keep them. Straight this guy was right
down the. Road, YEAH i Think springs the largest.

Speaker 5 (01:26:14):
Church on A, sunday he'd go in.

Speaker 7 (01:26:16):
There Ted haggard was his, Name New Life, Church New.

Speaker 4 (01:26:20):
Life he would literally tell everybody on A, sunday of,
course if you're, gay you're going to.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Hell if you do, this you're going to. Hell if
you do, drugs you're going to.

Speaker 4 (01:26:29):
Hell then during the day he was meeting male prostitutes
and doing meth off blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 5 (01:26:38):
Blah i'll leave it as. That and for some, REASON
i think boils the. GUY i think the male prostitute
literally called up peach.

Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Show, GOD i WISH i could ask.

Speaker 4 (01:26:51):
HIM i think he literally called a peach show, though
and that's how that guy got.

Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
Busted so the moral, is don't patronize male prostitutes because
they have loose. Lips loose lips sink shank.

Speaker 5 (01:27:03):
Ships, yeah that's really. Nuts you. Know one of the
BARS i. REMEMBER i love.

Speaker 4 (01:27:09):
THIS i love these kind of Talks, actually if you're
not From, colorado some of this stuff is. Crazy there
was a bar if you were going To Central city
in the old, days or ACTUALLY i should say Black,
hawk Isn't blackhawk?

Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
First and Then Central?

Speaker 1 (01:27:24):

Yeah Central city is.

Speaker 4 (01:27:29):

Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
Talking About Kermits?

Speaker 5 (01:27:45):
Kermits do you remember what their motto?

Speaker 1 (01:27:48):
Was, NO i didn't know they had a. Motto you.

Speaker 5 (01:27:50):
Didn't kermits is a notorious biker.

Speaker 4 (01:27:54):
Bar, now, yeah it hasn't been around for years and,
years but when we first MOVED i stopped there a few.
Times you want to know what their match books, SAID
i mean literally on their matchbooks with their.

Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
Logo does anybody KNOW i never went in? THERE i,
WELL i, know BUT i, know you, KNOW i brought
a bunch. HOME i was, like you. WON'T i was,
LIKE i was From South jersey AND i never seen
anything like.

Speaker 14 (01:28:18):
This.

Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
Never i'll tell you after.

Speaker 5 (01:29:01):
Update i'm going to recap real. Quick then we're going
to go to these two people THAT i PROMISE i
will say What kermit's old saying was on their matchbook,
covers but calls. First you know what's, interesting she this
woman really doesn't know what she.

Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Has and WHAT i mean by that is she Has
solar that a company that went out of business sold,
her and she doesn't even know if it's. Working meaning
to excel every hookup to the, grid is there net
metering in?

Speaker 5 (01:29:35):
Place we simply don't know the answer to.

Speaker 4 (01:29:38):
That but on top of, that with the company out of,
business that brings up a lot of other questions like
DO i have to keep? Paying, WELL i assume so
she's probably through a finance company and does if it does?

Speaker 5 (01:29:52):
Break what does that?

Speaker 4 (01:29:53):
Mean can the finance company actually be responsible for an?
Inverter which sounds, great BUT i Think brooke With Red
rocks a long time ago told me there's some things like.

Speaker 5 (01:30:05):
There so first Thing i'm going to do is go To. Brook, Hey,
brooke how are you. Doing i'm doing.

Speaker 16 (01:30:11):
Great, mark how about?

Speaker 1 (01:30:12):
Yourself i'm doing pretty. Good help me out.

Speaker 5 (01:30:14):
Here just on that first. Question then we'll dig into.

Speaker 4 (01:30:17):
This you told me something like if it's never hooked
up to the, grid say a solar company comes, out
installs his, system gets you to sign on the dotted
line for financing through, whomever and they never actually get
it onto the, grid can't they back can't the finance

(01:30:37):
company back charge and get their money back from the
actual bad solar.

Speaker 5 (01:30:41):
Company there was something like. THAT i remember you telling.

Speaker 16 (01:30:44):
Me, yeah so there are draws that they can do
against the. Account so IF i have a system that's,
FINANCED i have usually six months from the date THAT
i say the systems installed it to A pto or
they will take money out of my account and have
a negative, balance and that's. Normal that standard that's to

(01:31:08):
keep the.

Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
Soul she's almost like a credit card merchant, account.

Speaker 16 (01:31:11):
Honestly, yeah, exactly BECAUSE i need to get paid WHEN
i have the materials on the roof and the labor
that did. It BUT i also need to make sure
THAT i get the client what they. Need so that's
kind of a compromise in the. Industry, yeah that's kind of.

Speaker 4 (01:31:25):
Crazy, now what do you know about the information from her?
Caller i'm not sure what was sent.

Speaker 16 (01:31:31):
Over, yeah, absolutely SO i know that she wasn't sure
what was going on with her, system SO i Gave
excel a call to see if permission to operate OR
pto is. Received excel confirms that her system has been
up and running Since february of twenty twenty, four and
then it is still producing.

Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
Power so everything's.

Speaker 4 (01:31:51):
Working they just don't know what to do, Then so, Really,
elizabeth the main call in, THIS i believe is her
daughter Who's elizabeth, Too but the main issue was what
do you do with the tax?

Speaker 5 (01:32:02):
Credits?

Speaker 1 (01:32:02):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:32:05):
Yeah, Yeah So brooke has already looked it's up and,
running so your solar system does.

Speaker 5 (01:32:11):
Work there's no problems with, it and it is offsetting
your bill by.

Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
Whatever you, Know, brooke one of their questions, was they're
still paying one hundred plus dollars a month for electricity
even on top of the net.

Speaker 5 (01:32:24):
Metering is that normal these?

Speaker 16 (01:32:26):
Days, no that's not, normal and so that's why there
should Be there could be two things that. Happened the
first thing is the salesperson undersold the, system which happens
all the. Time and the second thing is is that
the system might not be working at the level it should.
Be maybe the inverter went bad or something like.

Speaker 5 (01:32:46):
That, elizabeth were you able to actually look at an
Old excel?

Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
Bill?

Speaker 17 (01:32:51):
No, UH i find one WHILE i was, waiting SO
i won't get one until this.

Speaker 5 (01:32:58):
Month, yeah but can't you log on and grab one
from last?

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
MONTH i.

Speaker 17 (01:33:02):
TRIED i don't know how to log, on AND i
just pay my built through the.

Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
Phone so, WELL i don't, Know, brooke how you can
actually look and. See how do you tell if someone
underbuilt to, system meaning it simply doesn't produce enough electricity
to offset the, bill or if there's something.

Speaker 5 (01:33:21):
Going wrong with, it LIKE i don't. Know some of
the panels aren't hooked up or for you, know a
rabbit chewed through. SOMETHING i, mean who.

Speaker 16 (01:33:29):
Knows, yeah, no great. Question so WHAT i would do
IS i would look at the system. SIZE i would
compare it WITH nurl DOT pvwats dot com that stands
For National Renewable Energy. Labs they have a pretty good
idea of what a system side should be, Producing SO

(01:33:49):
i would look at, that and based on those, NUMBERS
i could, Say, okay this is their, household.

Speaker 15 (01:33:54):
This is what they.

Speaker 16 (01:33:55):
Use the system was, installed, right a service case needs
to happen because it's not working or, yeah based on that,
information you know the system was only going to offset
their bill by fifty percent of what they're.

Speaker 15 (01:34:07):
Using so you just run the.

Speaker 16 (01:34:09):
Numbers, ESSENTIALLY i got.

Speaker 5 (01:34:10):
You and then you can.

Speaker 4 (01:34:11):
Tell so if it happens to be an under built,
system is it possible if they had another company come,
out like you, guys Like, alliance you guys go out
there and actually add panels to, it or another inverter
OR i don't even know what the issue would, be
but it's possible to get it up to where they
might not have a bill at.

Speaker 12 (01:34:31):
All.

Speaker 16 (01:34:33):
Yeah absolutely, so since they already HAVE, pto which Was
february of twenty twenty. Four any add ons to the system,
now as long as it's new equipment could be counted
for the tax. Credit so even though the tax credit
goes away this, year they could still add on and
backfile to that twenty twenty four.

Speaker 4 (01:34:51):
Date oh, wow that's. Interesting now what, Happens? Elizabeth let
me ask you something a lot of companies don't. EXPLAIN
i Know brooke, Does but if you don't have a
tax burden each, year there's really nothing you can do
with those tax.

Speaker 5 (01:35:05):
Credits and do you know anything about, That?

Speaker 4 (01:35:09):
Elizabeth, no, Yeah, brooke if they do have tax, credits
how could you look them? Up and then can you
sell them the tax credits Or i'm, sorry sell them for.

Speaker 16 (01:35:22):
Them so in this, instance we couldn't sell the tax
credits for. Them it wasn't set up that way, initially
so you can't backfile those kind of. Items, however if
they set me the contract, OVER i could put together
the form for them to fill that, out and THEN i.

Speaker 15 (01:35:42):
Could let them.

Speaker 16 (01:35:43):
Know you, know you pay one thousand dollars every year
to the, government so it's going to take you seven
years to get. It you're just going to refile this
every year with your.

Speaker 13 (01:35:51):
TAX i love.

Speaker 15 (01:35:52):
It, OKAY i love.

Speaker 4 (01:35:53):
It So, elizabeth you got to Call brooke. Directly i'm
going to give you a phone number. Here i'll make
Sure kelly give it to. You but, Hey, BROOK i
really appreciate you coming on as. Well you keep us
all educated on. Solar there's no doubt about. It there's
so many little nuances to. IT i don't know how
most people really enter into these contracts where they're taking

(01:36:17):
out financing on their biggest, asset generally their, house and
really have no idea how tax credits. Work they have
no idea if there even is tax. Credits they have
no idea how much it could possibly offset their. Electricity
they simply, listen like in this, case to some salesperson
from some company out Of florida that's no longer In.

(01:36:39):
Colorado they might not even be In florida. Anymore they
literally had no idea what they. Bought but you must
come up against us all the.

Speaker 16 (01:36:47):
Time, yeah it's pretty common for this to. Happen, unfortunately
it's like the.

Speaker 4 (01:36:53):
Wild west in your. Industry honest to, god it's like
the Wild, West like there's no. Regulation you just show
up at someone's.

Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
Door you.

Speaker 5 (01:37:01):
CAN i know you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:37:03):
Don't but it's basically LIKE i go To dimitri's house and, go,
hey you never want to pay an electric bill, again
and by the, way it'll be. Free we'll give you
tax credits and all this. Stuff you won't pay a,
nickel never have to pay electricity.

Speaker 5 (01:37:17):
Again sign, here and you don't read. It you simply sign.
There and every bit of, it of, course was a.

Speaker 4 (01:37:23):
LIE i don't even, Know Like, brook how do you
run an honest solar company where all the other ones aren't?

Speaker 5 (01:37:30):
HONEST i, MEAN i Know tesla is they're the big,
dog but other than, that, like, really how do you?

Speaker 4 (01:37:36):
Compete don't people? Think just don't? People it's almost like
a used car. Dealer don't you have a bad.

Speaker 1 (01:37:43):
Rap at this?

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
Point?

Speaker 16 (01:37:45):
Oh absolutely we. DO i would say eighty five to
ninety percent of solar companies operate the way you talked.

Speaker 6 (01:37:51):
About.

Speaker 16 (01:37:52):
Now one of my COMPETITORS i know is an honest
company is nam A, Stay SO i got to give
them credit for other folks that treat people, Well and
that would be another solar company in. Town and they're
out Of, boulder so they're local To. Colorado, ALSO i
think that's the biggest thing is you find somebody local
you any nation wide, company no matter what it, is.

Speaker 5 (01:38:12):
They can go away.

Speaker 4 (01:38:14):
Exactly, Yeah, no it's, crazy it really, Is. BROOKE i appreciate.

enough they used to have matchbooks in there and their

(01:39:45):
motto and this is what the matchbook would.

Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
Say And i'm not.

Speaker 4 (01:39:47):
KIDDING i just moved From South jersey back in ninety
three WHEN i saw, this AND i turned twenty one
right around that same, time AND i was going up
To Central city to play poker legally for the first,
time to. Casino, yes it was only five dollars back,
then but it was kind of a cool. Thing AND
i stopped there and they had dollar bills. Everywhere they

(01:40:08):
had dollar bills pinned to.

Speaker 1 (01:40:11):
The, roof the sides. EVERYWHERE i mean there had.

Speaker 5 (01:40:14):

No oh my, god can you? Imagine that was the.

Speaker 5 (01:40:37):
Motto Of Kermit's Hide whales on every match, book and
it was on some signs around like above the. URINALS
i had never seen anything like, That in.

Speaker 4 (01:40:47):

necrophiliacs meant BECAUSE i had no.

Speaker 5 (01:40:55):
Boy, look we don't know about that.

Speaker 1 (01:40:57):

gonna if you don't know what it? Is, Well god bless.

Speaker 1 (01:41:09):
You you've lived a.

Speaker 5 (01:41:10):
Better life because most people should not know what that,
is but they literally add matchbooks like.

Speaker 1 (01:41:15):
That can you?

Speaker 4 (01:41:16):
IMAGINE i, mean think about? That and how come you
guys weren't camped out down.

Speaker 20 (01:41:20):
There it's a little bit away from Dem, oh it's
out of your jurisdiction by, COUNTY i Think.

Speaker 1 (01:41:26):
Jeffco Or Clear Creek. MARK i have my Own kermits.
Story back WHEN i was in high, school my friends
AND i used to go To, kermits not To kermits Behind,
kermits Behind. Curt, yes we would park in front Of,
kermits walk back to shoot guns Behind kermits because they
they're kind of in this little, VALLEY i, know and
so they are only a request that they didn't. Care
they didn't care, there only a request was that we

(01:41:48):
don't set up our targets in the direction Of, kermits
that we shoot away from, them.

Speaker 5 (01:41:53):
And being a biker gang bar that they're probably used
to the gun shot, anyhow it adds to the.

Speaker 1 (01:41:59):
Ambience and then we would walk, back put away the
guns and go drink beer At. Kermits, yeah that was

duran the real estate, man And i'm going to talk
about him Because i've used him multiple. Times he gets
a bidding war on your house if you're of course
selling your. House it's pretty. INCREDIBLE a lot of people
might say they can do, it but he talks to,
talk And i've seen him walk the. Walk he got

(01:43:52):
us on our house In Castle rock in twenty. Fifteen
that's the last house we, sold at least in the,
State so listen. This i'm not going to give numbers,
out but he wanted to sell it cheaper THAN i
KNEW i could get, for and at FIRST i was,
like what the heck's going on. Here but along with
the other secret sauce that he had it creating a bidding.

(01:44:14):
War and back then he did this THREE d walkthrough
and it was called a, matterhorn and it's this camera
guy he had come in and you could literally walk
virtually through our house anywhere in the.

Speaker 4 (01:44:25):
Country frankad ninety some thousand, people not nine ninety plus
thousand people.

Speaker 5 (01:44:35):
Virtually walk through our house over a three day.

Speaker 4 (01:44:39):
Period On, monday we had about fifteen different, offers including
some offers that were cash ready to. Go then what
he did is where it gets rough if you're a crappy.
Realtor but when You're frank and you take negotiation classes
every single year for the last thirty, years it's. Easy

(01:45:02):
he got the good, offers the legit, offers the real
offers together in creating a bidding.

Speaker 5 (01:45:09):
War next, thing you know what he was asking. For
the house went, up, up, up, up up up.

Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
Up we ended up selling it for more than that
same model went for anywhere else in the, neighborhood some

Speaker 4 (01:45:45):
Life in, FACT i can honestly say this more, legit,
YEP i can say that he's straight up is just
the greatest. Guy Frank duran homes dot Com now three
o three seven one three eight two five. FIVE i
want to talk about savings accounts in a, minute and
there's a reason for. It DELL ceo donated six billion

(01:46:07):
Two trump. Accounts i'm going to explain what that. Is
but more, Importantly i'm going to explain why it's so.
Important but last hour we were talking about different biker
bars around. Town stage coach came up off Air. Pipers
is It? Pipers piper in The piper in yep On?
Hampton basically No Parker, road, RIGHT i was going to,

(01:46:30):
say what Is Parker? Road, oh it turns Into, leedsdale
it's kind of it's a little before, that but, yeah
It's Parker. Road and then the other one we never
brought up And, Rick i'll have your suggestion there in a.
Second the funny part is none of us are. Bikers
we were just talking about biker, bars crazy. Enough but
the other one used to be down The Sedalia bar And.
Grill that was an old school biker. Bar in, fact

(01:46:53):
there was a diesel shop under. It and one TIME
i saw this guy bring out a motorcycle he made
that had a diesel, engine a damn diesel engine on
a homemade, chopper which was the craziest THING i ever.
Saw when he started it, up it was so loud
it was. Nuts, Hey, rick what is your?

Speaker 3 (01:47:14):
Suggestion, Okay i've been around here about sixty, years so,
anyway The Bucks, Snort.

Speaker 1 (01:47:22):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
Dude we were actually talking about this during that. Show
it shut Down DURING. Covid we were going to a,
wedding Meaning suzanne AND i and our kids were going
to a mountain wedding up around, there AND i took
a we left a little, early AND i was going
to bring my kids since they both turned twenty one
at that point to The Buck. Snort because it's the

(01:47:44):
wildest place. Ever it's out in the middle of. Nowhere
you basically take a dirt road to the middle of.
Nowhere it's got a beautiful stream behind.

Speaker 5 (01:47:52):
It and it's got a sign on the door to
the restroom That i'll never forget in my. Life AND
i saw it over thirty years. Ago do you know
what that sign, Said, Rick oh, well it.

Speaker 12 (01:48:04):
Says beware a.

guys for a number of. Years thank. You So i've
got a tool drive FORWARD e three fifty DID i
like to convert to full wheel? Drive And i'm trying
to find out who in the area you guys might
know who could do. That i've looked, around got a few.
Estimates they range from fifteen k to.

Speaker 5 (01:49:34):
Let's Get jeff thick.

Speaker 4 (01:49:35):
On i'm not Even i'll be, Honest i'm not even
going to take a stab at this one BECAUSE i
don't even know how it would be done to. ME
i don't even know how you would do it with
fifteen thousand. DOLLARS i just can't even. IMAGINE i just
can't imagine it unless you're talking like an old hub
assembly where you would go out and actually shift everything.

(01:49:56):
In But i'll tell you, this just hang, Tight, Chris
we're going to get the bet in the business On.

Speaker 1 (01:50:02):
MARK i think That ford And chris correct me If i'm,
Wrong but isn't The ford fifty a?

Speaker 12 (01:50:07):
Van, yeah it's a.

Speaker 19 (01:50:09):
Van like.

Speaker 5 (01:50:11):
The entire it's a kind of. Line the entire series is.

Speaker 1 (01:50:14):
Like a white serial killer, van, Right, yeah like, yeah
with with. WINDOWS i painted mind.

Speaker 14 (01:50:19):
Black so.

Speaker 1 (01:50:21):
Is that free candy on the? Door what are you going?

Speaker 5 (01:50:24):
To why do you want to do?

Speaker 4 (01:50:25):
IT i do want to ask you. That why the
hell would you want to convert? It are you going
to turn it into a? Camper what's?

Speaker 8 (01:50:32):
Usable we?

Speaker 13 (01:50:32):
Do? YEAH i camp in it And i'm trying to
get into some gnarly places and it's you, know there's
several people out there and do. It they they're great
once you get it.

Speaker 4 (01:50:41):
Done but, YEAH i want to, ASK i truly do
want to bring Up, jeff so hold tight the conversions
from a.

Speaker 5 (01:50:49):
Van we know a, Guy suzanna AND.

Speaker 4 (01:50:51):
I we don't know him, great but we see him
at our local brewery In Castle rock one o five.
Occasionally and he bought a sprinter, van you, know The
mercedes or whoever dies, whoever depending on the ear you bought.
It he had a guy that he knew that's In
Castle rock convert his. Ban it took a, while But, mike,
goodness it is absolutely.

Speaker 5 (01:51:13):
BEAUTIFUL i mean. Beautiful you could LIVE i, mean if
you could live in a, van you could live in this,
thing and it's, like it's.

Speaker 4 (01:51:20):
Stunning, actually it's absolutely. STUNNING i want to talk about
This trump savings and why it's so, important And i'm
not going to make this. Political so when we were
raising our, Kids suzanne brought up something very. Interesting us
as a, family the four of, us we actually not only,

(01:51:42):
brag but get on each.

Speaker 1 (01:51:43):
Other who's got the best credit?

Speaker 7 (01:51:45):
Score now that sounds great competition in our. House.

Speaker 5 (01:51:48):
Literally in, fact right during the last, Break suzanne AND
i were seeing who's because we're usually right around the.

Speaker 1 (01:51:54):
SAME i looked mine. Up i'm eight, seventeen Did.

Speaker 6 (01:51:56):
JILL i couldn't find mine ON, amex but On capitol
One i'm eight twenty, two so.

Speaker 5 (01:52:01):
She's eight twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:52:02):
Two but last, time like when my son got his
house couple months, ago he was he was eight, ten eight,
fifteen And addie hangs right around there. Too so we
actually did that as they were. Kids we got them
secured credit cards at even the age, sixteen and then
at eighteen we added them onto our credit. Cards, yeah

(01:52:24):
so it would follow their. Credit so we built their,
credit but we also explained what credit. Was AND i
don't think either of my kids or our. Kids one
is twenty, five one is twenty. THREE i don't think
one time either of them has ever held a balance
on any of their credit cards.

Speaker 7 (01:52:45):
Ever, yeah they're so.

Speaker 5 (01:52:46):
Proud well they've prouded like it's paid, off you, know
like it's simple as.

Speaker 4 (01:52:51):
That and we were talking around And suzanne made the
comment because we were looking at the news on This
trump savings. Account to, me the first thing, was, wow
imagine at the age of three or, four you're now
showing your, Kid, oh you had one thousand dollars put
in when you were, born and that thousand dollars is.

(01:53:11):
Yours no one else can touch. It it is your retirement.
Account and at the age of five they see it's
GOT x.

Speaker 5 (01:53:17):
Amount now at five they're not going to know anything
but ten or, Eleven that thousand is now three four.
Thousand by the time they're sixteen seventeen and start understanding
a savings account or actually a retirement, account they could have, ten,
fifteen twenty thousand in there and they're learning the importance of.
Saving then with These trump, accounts at the age of,

(01:53:41):
eighteen it converts into basically AN. Ira at this, point of,
course you can't pull out of it without. Penalties in,
FACT i hope they make it to where you can't
pull out of.

Speaker 4 (01:53:53):
It hopefully they. WILL i Think trump's smart enough to
know that would be not a good. Thing but think about.
This they can't pull out of, it but now they
can add to. It they can take money out of their,
job just like any other qualified fund IN ira or.
Anything take ten dollars out of each weekly paycheck when
they're working at McDonald's or whatever they're, doing and keep

(01:54:15):
funding it and learning how.

Speaker 1 (01:54:17):
It grows in every five years or every.

Speaker 4 (01:54:19):
Year you look at, it and it's not going to
be Like Social, security where it does nothing but allow
the government to suck off of.

Speaker 5 (01:54:27):
It if you took all the money most of us.

Speaker 4 (01:54:29):
Have put Into Social security and bought an annuity From
joe And, jordan we'd all retire as. Millionaires there'd be
absolutely no doubt about. It we got so screwed Over Social.
Security NOW i realize we need that safety, Net but
really it was supposed to be there for. That it
wasn't supposed to be your only damn. Retirement it was

(01:54:51):
never meant to be your retirement.

Speaker 1 (01:54:53):
Account it was meant to be in the case of
an emergency in case you failed to accumulate savings for.
Retirement that's making For but now it's widely used by
people as their Primary they're only, retirement they're only a retirement.
ACCOUNT i love the.

Speaker 5 (01:55:08):
FACT i don't care if you Like trump or. Not
this is.

Speaker 4 (01:55:11):
Ingenius and he's given every kid a thousand. Bucks And
Michael dale came. In that's when they're. Born now here's a.
CAVEAT i guess you got to be born after twenty
five so or in other, words if you were born
twenty twenty, four you're not getting.

Speaker 5 (01:55:24):
Anything right from the.

Speaker 4 (01:55:27):
Feds But michael dal came, in and If i'm reading this,
right from the kids that are under ten years, old
he's donating like six billion dollars towards.

Speaker 1 (01:55:37):
It in each of those kids two d and fifty.
Bucks that's. Awesome what a Generous what a generous, Man.

Speaker 5 (01:55:44):
What a totally generous. Guy there's a guy that understands.
It he's not, Saying, OH i want to go out
there AND i want to make, Solar i'm going to
spend A Bill. Gates, YEAH i Guess, Chris chris And
peter Hold on.

that do, this but price. Wise chris called. In he
wants to convert IN e three. Fifty that's a twenty

(01:56:54):
FOURTEEN e three, fifty a twenty fourteen two wheel DRIVE
e three fifty into a four wheel DRIVE e three.

Speaker 5 (01:57:03):
Fifty just give me some thoughts on.

Speaker 8 (01:57:05):
That that's a lot of. WORK i, mean they do
have kids out, there do they range anywhere from? You
probably about sixteen thousand to twenty thousand for just the kid.
Itself that doesn't come with the transfer. Case it comes
with pretty much everything else, though no drive. Shafts so
you figure unless you're doing it, yourself you're probably All

(01:57:26):
i'm gonna, say between thirty five to forty grand, all.

Speaker 4 (01:57:28):
Am my, God, chris what prices have you been? Getting
you were telling me like five to? Fifteen, NO i there's.

Speaker 13 (01:57:36):
An outfit In utah does it for like. Twenty there's
a couple of outfits here In colorado to do it
anywhere from thirty to. Forty so we're on that same range.

Speaker 5 (01:57:47):
At, Jeff at what point does it make more?

Speaker 4 (01:57:49):
Sense, WELL i guess in e three fifty they never
made a four wheel drive, version right or do they?

Speaker 8 (01:57:54):
Now and then the other thing is too IS i
mean there's someone out there on the market for about
the same prices are going to have into. It so
unless you're a test to the, van, uh you, know
you can probably pick one up for you, know that
much or even.

the history of. It i'm just you, know yeahs In.

Speaker 8 (01:58:25):
Utah you know somebody who's already tooled up and specialized in.
That i'm sure that they can do it for cheaper
than somebody like, myself who you, know this is kind
of a one off a thing Where i'm literally buying
kits and having to go out and buy individual parts
for that. Vehicle so it's not going to be.

Speaker 1 (01:58:39):
Cheap is that one In?

Speaker 5 (01:58:40):
Utah literally in Like? Moab where is?

Speaker 8 (01:58:42):
It it's in totally so HOW i.

Speaker 5 (01:58:45):
THOUGHT i was sure you were going to say Mo
ab BECAUSE i was thinking it would actually make sense
in that. Area in this strange, WAY.

Speaker 13 (01:58:53):
I understand the especially the guys In utah that uh
some companies by fleet to. Vehicles, yeah and the and
these guys do the conversions you, know for like the
ski resorts and so.

Speaker 4 (01:59:03):
Forth, yeah that's What jeff was. Saying they're all tooled.
UP i mean they do them every. DAY i that
sounds like a lot better deal to.

Speaker 1 (01:59:10):
Me how does it?

Speaker 5 (01:59:11):
Work you drop it off there for what a? Month,
yeah it's not.

Speaker 13 (01:59:15):

Bad you drive it, out fly, back and then go
pick it, up, Right, yep that's. It that's a cool deal, Man, Yeah,
JEFF i appreciate. It at, FIRST i was, THINKING i
JUST i GUESS i understand why someone would do.

Speaker 5 (01:59:32):
IT i did like your, idea, Though.

Speaker 4 (01:59:34):
Jeff you could probably find someone that's already paid the
big bucks to have it, done or an old fleet or,
something and buy one like. That but this guy's already you,
know decked it out the way he wants.

Speaker 1 (01:59:45):

air conditioner but of course time a year furnace for
less than anybody else. OUT there i mean for less
than anybody else. Out there nick also Owns Renew home

(02:05:01):
innovations when it comes to the, shower conversions and they
do a great job. With that but prior to getting,
into that he ran and owned companies THAT did hvac
and he was getting sick and tired of hearing about
some of the pricing out there ten fifteen thousand dollars for,
a furnace so he decided to get back into, the
business add that under The Renew home innovations umbrella and

(02:05:27):
basically sell furnaces for less than anybody put him to.
The test three h three nine oh four, Two thousand

talking about with kids and the savings and credit when

(02:05:47):
your kids were, Growing, up chopper how old are your?

Speaker 5 (02:05:50):
Kids, now? Thirties, forties yeah thirties and.

Speaker 4 (02:05:53):
First, forties yeah you said that your kids you never
really had any ISSUES with i mean to a degree
when you were, Talking financially is?

Speaker 5 (02:06:02):
That correct?

Speaker 4 (02:06:03):
That's correct what do you associate that like for people
out there listening with? YOUNGER kids, i mean we've all
seen PARENTS like i don't know how to.

Speaker 5 (02:06:12):
Put it you can point out mistakes all, parents make but,
in general why do you think your children have never
had any? Financial issues AND when i, Say that i'm assuming, you,
mean like what do you mean by that they can
pay for their, own food.

Speaker 1 (02:06:27):
Their, own house they. HAVE jobs, i, Mean basics.

Speaker 20 (02:06:30):
All the basics. ARE covered i think the thing they
learned was a credit card is.

Speaker 4 (02:06:35):
Not cash that's a hard one because. Kids can't it's
hard to. COMPREHEND that, i mean it seems like an
easy thing as, an adult of course, it's easy but
it is kind.

Speaker 5 (02:06:45):
Of strange and then.

Speaker 20 (02:06:46):
They didn't go on out and buy a new car every.

Speaker 5 (02:06:49):
Other, year yeah that's another.

Speaker 20 (02:06:51):
Big one but they saw that from their mom and.
From me, you KNOW we.

Speaker 5 (02:06:57):
I think that's the number. One thing and you're alluding
to it live by.

Speaker 20 (02:07:00):
EXAMPLE exactly i mean we we just didn't go overboard.
On anything we didn't, want anything but we didn't we.
Didn't need you bought what you.

Speaker 5 (02:07:09):
Could afford is probably the most, important.

Speaker 12 (02:07:12):
Post.

Speaker 5 (02:07:12):
EXACTLY yeah i think the other big thing is. Work
ethic kids watching you literally work.

Speaker 20 (02:07:18):
AND work I mean i worked sixty hours.

Speaker 8 (02:07:21):
A week.

Speaker 5 (02:07:21):
Oh man you used to work.

Speaker 20 (02:07:22):
An extra twenty shift to send Them to catholic h
school schools and. High schools and they saw that so and.
They're workers they.

Speaker 1 (02:07:30):
Work hard.

Speaker 5 (02:07:31):
You know it Was, mostly suzanne but We taught taekwon
do like school in, other words they had to go
up to the dojo three four times. A week and
we don't care if they you know, their kids they
want to, quit anything, piano, lessons anything they simply.

Speaker 1 (02:07:47):
Couldn't quit we we actually made that, like school and
we made that.
