seven one three eight two five five three oh three Martino,
(00:46):
We've been doing this for a very long time.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Here's the bottom line. Over three hundred million dollars cash,
merchandise exchanges, refund services, blah blah. You get the idea,

Like I said, we've recouped a lot of money in
(01:09):
studio with me. Jesse Schillinger, how are you.
Speaker 6 (01:13):
Sir, wonderful, thanks for having me up.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
He is with Honest, Accurate and Colorado Springs. By the way,
kr DO is our affiliate down there. They're kicking ass
as always and taking names. Hou's biz down in the Spring,
Sir can't complain? Okay, does that mean good?
Speaker 7 (01:30):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (01:31):
Cars are needing to be fixed and we're trying to
get them done as quick as we can.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I wonder at a curiosity if the demographics between Kevin
calkinshop shared an auto tech in Denver compared to Colorado Springs.
I wonder if you guys see the same ear make
not you're the same age of cars? You think so?
Or do you think Colorado Springs would be a little
older cars, maybe even newer cars. I don't know. I'm
(01:56):
thinking of such a military takes.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
Similar I think were talking. If it's the same, it's.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
The same stuff. Yeah, so you have the same parts problems.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
These guys do the same parts problems, same problem with
folks don't call when they don't make their appointment.
Speaker 7 (02:09):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
What's the biggest issue, uh, you're seeing with parts availability?
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Jesse?
Speaker 6 (02:15):
It's the everyday needed parts like rods. Hard to get
get good quality ones that company stopped making the good ones.
Now they're making a less quality one. Yeah, I got
you things like that. Same with electrical parts, we see
the same thing.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Do you ever install other people's parts they bring in? Uh?
Speaker 7 (02:34):
No, Okay.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
I had to call Kevin on one yesterday. It was
a dealership in Colorado Springs. Do you remember which one
it was, Kevin?
Speaker 7 (02:43):
Uh No, it don't.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
It was on an F three fifty Super Duty. It
might have been a Chevy.
Speaker 7 (02:48):
Though it was chev Silverado with a diesel. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
So the guy actually ordered an aftermarket def pump and
one of your dealers down there, and I don't want
to say which one it was because I don't remember.
Else I would say it installed it. The guy drives
three hundred yards and it blows out from the underneath,
and of course the dealer's going to ask piece of crap.
(03:12):
Part not our fault, and this guy's going no way,
the part was fine according to the manufacturer. You guys
didn't install it, Ray, you didn't tighten the sleeve. And
it's like, God, why would a dealership do that?
Speaker 7 (03:24):
Jeff?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Do you ever do it?
Speaker 7 (03:26):
Extremely seldom?
Speaker 8 (03:27):
I mean usually when we do with something like somebody,
you know, one of the classic cars. They want a
new shift or put in or something like that. You know,
I mean, I'm not going to get any deals on
that kind of thing, so there's no mark up for
me to be making in there. And plus that could
be something with you know, they might they want a
personal touch to it. So yeah, go ahead and bring
that in. We'll charge you for the labor. They have
shown up with parts before. We're like, I'm not gonna
put this in your car.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Yeah, like Kevin, you'd never put in an alternat or
someone bought off Amazon.
Speaker 7 (03:51):
No, No, I brought in from the junk yard. Yeah,
or rock Atto or one of these Yeah yeah, rock OUTO.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
That's right.
Speaker 6 (03:57):
The problem is warranty. They bring in a part, they
think you're going to get a three year warranty in
the company that they bought it from. Like, no, there's no.
Speaker 9 (04:03):
Well the problem is just like this guy's problem, I
mean no, and he's saying no, and now he's.
Speaker 7 (04:08):
Stuck with it.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, now he's stuck. He dropped two grand. Here was
his argument. The dealer wanted for that deaf part. Remember
it was a dealer that installed it, which is still crazy.
Mike Maroni, it's just Hi, Mike Maroni and it's it's
you're down there with Yeah, but can you believe they
did that? I'd be like, if I was the service manager,
(04:31):
I'd never take anything like that. You're asking for trouble
because now the guy's blaming them, and honestly, we'll never
find out whose fault it was. But something like Jeff
was saying, like a custom this or that I could understand,
or something that's not going to fail, you know what
I'm saying, Like if someone brought in certain headlights, you
(04:51):
might do that, right, I mean the bulbs.
Speaker 8 (04:53):
Yeah, sure, like a certain frequency color. Usually that's not
something that brings to somebody like myself. Yeah, but if
they hap transmission shot. But if they happen to be
in there, and this does happen from time to time,
you know, we're doing a much larger project on the vehicle.
By the way, in the back seat, I've got my
windshield wip perspective. Can you put them on?
Speaker 7 (05:10):
No problem? All right?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
By the way, that's Jeff Vick kimmera transmission Kevin Cokin.
Then we got the beer man in stock, Steve Moss.
The Final Rock and Roll Brewery is the final weekend
before the big big party Man brew Fest twenty twenty
five Rock and Roll Brewery. He's only got a few
tickets left. We're going to dive into that and talk
(05:32):
about that. A lot of cool stuff going on on
the way to work that I'm gonna jump to the
phones on the way to the studio today. I look over.
Everybody in here has seen a homeless or I would
argue a lot of them aren't homeless, but someone holding
the sign begging for something. Right, We've all seen this
this corner down here off of twenty five and what
(05:55):
is that? Quebec? Did you see him? Yeah, he's on
his cell phone. Now wait, oh yeah, he had his
cell phone. But did you see a sign? Don't say
what it said? Okay, I took a picture of it,
and I'm gonna put it up on our YouTube stream.
So I'll put a link to it over the first break.
So if you go to YouTube dot com and type
(06:16):
in Troubleshooter Network, you'll see us all right here live
and you'll hear us during the breaks and all kinds
of good stuff, and of course here the show. But
I'm going to put a link to it. You just
click it and pick and picture. If you can't see
the sign, great, just zoom in. It's a great photo.
But you might have to zoom in and tell me
if this guy is not the dumbest sob with this
(06:38):
sign you, I can't even everybody's thinking of different things like, oh,
what could this sign possibly be? It's absolutely amazing what
this sign is in that he is holding it. It's crazy.
I almost interacted with him, like really really, but I
didn't because I don't want him to throw some thing
(07:00):
yet me, or scratch my car or something.
Speaker 6 (07:02):
Might have thrown that cell phone at you.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
You might have thrown that cell phone. So you saw
the same guy, okay, and he didn't look horrible. Some
some look like the walking dead. I'll just say it
like it is. Some homeless people look like literally their zombies.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
I was checking out his phone because it's like better
than mine.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I thought he's probably got an Apple what is it
a Model twenty seven now or whatever? Crazy stuff? Hey Julie,
what is going on with his contractor?
Speaker 10 (07:27):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I thought, hey Julie, Hi, how are you. I'm doing great?
How are you doing?
Speaker 11 (07:34):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (07:35):
Well, I've been a little bit better.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
What's happening?
Speaker 12 (07:39):
Well? I built a beautiful home in Salmon, Idaho, And
I had a contractor that bailed bombie and didn't complete
the job according to his contract.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Well wait a minute, I want to understand a few things.
When he built a home, how did you do it?
Did you go? How did you fund it? Did you
have cash and pay as you went to? You go
get a bank loan?
Speaker 12 (08:02):
My wonderful mother was my bank.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
So she bankrolled it for you. And how would she pay?
Like when the foundation was dug and poured, you'd pay
a certain amount. How did the schedule look correct?
Speaker 12 (08:14):
Well, the gentleman didn't know what a schedule was, first
of all, but we did have a timeline of payments. When,
for example, the foundation was poured, I would pay thirty.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Percent okay cost? So did you ever get to the
point where there's a CEO and you can go close?
And by the way, when you did close, were you
going to convert it into a mortgage to pay your
mom back? Or is more of a gift?
Speaker 12 (08:38):
No, that's how everything went awry. I had actually had
to call for a CEO because he wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Okay, and.
Speaker 12 (08:48):
I was getting a loan to pay her back. And
one of the subcontractors who had not been paid, was
called by the title company to get a release of leaves.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
So before wait, I'm sorry, so before closing, right before
the mortgage in the closing correct, exactly. So they called
up in how much how much of a lien did
they put on the on the property?
Speaker 12 (09:13):
Well, they hadn't put on a lian yet they were
going to It was going to be for about twenty
one thousand.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Dollars and what was that for? By the way, what
was the service or part the electrician? So he didn't
get paid at all? Or is it one electrician out
of many? Or how did that look?
Speaker 12 (09:31):
He got paid for the first portion of the job,
but not for like the HTAG and the death work
and stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Okay, so he didn't get paid. He calls up the
title company and but at this point, your mom really
has funded everything, she owns the property, she owns everything, right, Yes.
Speaker 12 (09:50):
Put a lien on it. She's the first lean position.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Yes, excellent. So then what so the title company, I assume, says, Okay,
did they did you guys bond around it? And are
you waiting to close?
Speaker 12 (10:03):
Well, again, my mom is my hero. She bailed the
electrician out and paid him oh off, so he wouldn't
file the lead. But then also the builder asked for
thirty one hundred dollars more or he was going to
file a lead, so she paid him as well.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
So you ended up coming twenty four thousand above what
you guys contractually agreed to. But when you say the builder,
I mean he was also the general contractor, right, he's
is he the one that should have paid? Are you
saying the general contractor should have paid the electrician and didn't?
Speaker 7 (10:44):
Correct?
Speaker 13 (10:45):
We were.
Speaker 12 (10:45):
Our last payment to the general slash builder was supposed
to be eleven eight hundred dollars. However we paid him
the twenty paid the twenty four thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
And then he paid the contractor. He was supposed to
wait a minute, Wait a minute. So at the very
end you had to pay the builder or the GC
an additional twenty four thousand we.
Speaker 12 (11:09):
Had to pay the I paid directly to the electricians,
the twenty one thousand that.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Got a general dig and then three thousand whatever to
the general contractor. Correct, Then you went Then you went
through and closed, and everything's done. That's where we're at now.
Speaker 12 (11:26):
No, we did not close.
Speaker 14 (11:28):
We veiled.
Speaker 12 (11:29):
We stopped on the loan and said, Okay, what are
we going to do now? Am I going to.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Sell the house?
Speaker 5 (11:33):
And why?
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Why over the twenty four thousand.
Speaker 12 (11:39):
It's been a long haul this past year. I'm a
teacher and a single mom.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I'm asking you. I'm not I'm not like berating you.
I'm literally asking you over the twenty four thousand. That
became the straw that broke the camel's back financially on
this deal. Yes, okay, hold on, let me put you
on hold. That's interesting they didn't close. I think they're
holding all the cards with the exception they paid them.
They paid them the twenty four thousand. I think you
(12:06):
probably should have made that. We've got a lot to
look at here. By the way, Mike's got a problem
with the sale, and Dan's got a problem with FedEx.
That's one. We don't get a lot ups. Yes, FedEx. No,
I'm interested what that is? Everybody hold tight. I'm gonna
get that link up to three oh three one line
open three oh three seven one three eight two five
five three oh three Martino.
Speaker 15 (12:33):
Go with a sure thing Denver's best roofer Excel roofing
dot com. You don't pay a cent until you're content.
Time for an insurance check up free, no obligation. In comparison,
call Compass Insurance paying too much your coverage at dozens
of insurance companies. Find out now three oh three seven
to seven to one help. You'll think you're his only
(12:55):
customer when you choose Frank durand the real estate man
dot com to list your home with Max Alliance three
oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty two. All right,
I swear I'm working on getting this thing uploaded.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
I'll get it next break. But you got to see
this picture on her YouTube channel. I got halfway there,
so I promise i'll knock it out. I forgot I
had that two minute spot with Mark, so I'll blame
Mark on it. But that fifteen percent deal they had
seems absolutely great. One line open three oh three seven
one three eight two five five. I'm going to get
back to Julie. She had a house build, her mom
(13:30):
kind of funded it, her mom played the bank. They
got almost finished, almost finished, and the guy comes to
her and says, we need another twenty four thousand dollars.
Apparently the general contractor, the builder himself underestimated the costs
In fact, that's one of the questions I have for you, Julie,
if you looked at the contract, I mean, what did
(13:52):
it talk about when it came to variances in pricing?
I mean, was he did he have the ability to
raise it?
Speaker 13 (13:59):
No?
Speaker 12 (14:00):
He did not, So he.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Just blackmailed you guys, basically, and by by not paying
the electrician and charging anymore.
Speaker 12 (14:08):
Exactly, he has one part in his contract that says
all labor and materials are included other than we're specified.
Speaker 16 (14:17):
And then and then the other part of.
Speaker 12 (14:18):
The contract he says electrical plumbing, interior walls, and insulation
are not included in the contractor's bid and therefore becomes
the sole responsibility of the owner and will not be
covered by the contractor's warranty.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Or Yeah, so basically it's elusive at best.
Speaker 12 (14:35):
Yeah, so he doesn't.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
So why do you guys pay him? I mean, you
basically gave them all the power when you guys copped
up that twenty four You didn't close or did you close?
Speaker 12 (14:45):
No, we didn't close.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Did you get the CEO though? I mean your mom
owns the house. Yes, Now the bank itself, the bank itself,
is that the issue with closing now. I think you've
got to forget about the twenty four thousand. I mean,
if you want to go, Sue, I mean, that's fine,
you can go see them. My guess is it's going
to cost you more than twenty four thousand dollars. If
you didn't pay them yet, then I would have a
(15:08):
lot of other ideas. But the fact you already paid him.
That's where we're at now. So let's dig into why
you're not closing at this point. Why aren't you buying
the house? Are you not able to get a loan
for that additional twenty four.
Speaker 12 (15:23):
Well, I guess that's part of it. But I guess
my main reason for calling you or talking to you
is there's still a whole list of things that he
still needs to complete, Like the backyard is not graded
and the driveway is not filled with gravel. He didn't
clean up, there's still punchless items, and while doesn't need
to be pained.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
So what does he say when you call up? I mean,
what does he say at this point?
Speaker 12 (15:49):
Nothing? He won't he won't talk.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
He just won't contact you at all.
Speaker 12 (15:53):
He won't contact me. I have even put in the shelving,
I've had to put in the bathroom hardware.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
God, do you keep doing everything he's supposed to though?
Speaker 12 (16:03):
Yeah, because he blows smoke.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
If I call him up, I mean, is he going
to have the same story you do. I find it
highly doubtful that I'll call him up and he's going
to say, yeah, I refuse to do the punch lift. Yeah,
I refuse to do this. I mean, what's his side
of the story going to be?
Speaker 12 (16:21):
I have no idea, just won't call. I mean when
when my mom went to go basically pay him off,
he said nothing like he.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
He's got a.
Speaker 12 (16:35):
Part for me for one of my doors.
Speaker 16 (16:39):
So he has a dressed that there is something.
Speaker 12 (16:42):
Needs to be done.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
But he's not telling you when he's going to do.
Speaker 12 (16:45):
Him No, no, But I've already been reported by the
city for not for having a mess in front of
my house. Yeah, brought the dirt and gravel that he's left.
And I, you know, not to have a sob story,
but I broke my neck in my back and an.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Oh my goodness, that step up.
Speaker 12 (17:03):
Yeah that's a long story. But yeah, and I mean
putting up shelving is just.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Well, I'd like to call the guy. Is that okay
with you, I'd like to see.
Speaker 12 (17:12):
Oh love it. I tried to have him arrested Tom
and they wouldn't do it.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Well, why did you? That's just a quick little side
an offer ramp there. But I almost feel dumb asking
why what happened? Well, just because he's a sister, Well,
you don't call up to cops and say, hey, this
guy's a sister, come a snag him and put him
in cuffs.
Speaker 12 (17:36):
I don a lot states that if you don't fulfill
a contract, or if you falsify a contract, you could
have somebody arrested.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
You know, so what So what happened? I mean, go
down that path now, since it's relevant. What did the
cops say?
Speaker 12 (17:51):
The cops looked at this labor and material section of
the contact where it says that that we are responsibility
responsible for this and we took this part as warranty worked,
and he took that as being we're responsible for paying
the subs and he didn't want to do it. I mean,
and we're a count of three thousand. I mean, this
(18:12):
guy's gonna.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Yeah, Wow, that's insane. Hold on, give Kelly his information.
I want to talk to him. I want to look
up that law in Idaho. Though I like that, I
wish they had that here in Colorado. I mean, I
get it, that contract. You can construe that either way.
Just from what she read, I mean literally one section
of it says you're responsible for everything. The other section
(18:37):
says we'll do all the parts in labor. But I mean,
if the police came out looked at it. Can you
imagine if in Colorado we could call up the police
because some scumbag comes out and says, hey, i'll pour
your driveway, give me fifty percent down. You sign a
contract with him, and the guy never shows up and
the cops actually do their job and come out and
(18:58):
arrest them. We have the Tractors Trust Act. But let
me tell you, the teeth are like in old man's dentures.
There's not much to them, dentures that don't fit, that
are broke. I mean, they don't do anything. They never
do anything, very rarely do they do anything criminally. Get
that information. Let's get that guy's side of the story, Kelly.
(19:20):
I'm not sure really what's going on with it yet,
so I'm not gonna say the guy's a bad guy,
but we're gonna find out after this.
Speaker 15 (19:33):
Go with a sure thing Denver's Best roofer Excel Roofing
dot com. You don't pay a cent until you're content.
Time for an insurance check up free, no obligation. In comparison,
call Compass Insurance paying too much your coverage at dozens
of insurance companies find out now three O three seven
to seven to one help. You'll think you're his only
(19:54):
customer when you choose Frank durand the real estate Man
dot com to list your home with remax Aliance three
oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty two.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
All right three three seven one three eight two five
five one line open. I did get that picture up?
I mean to me, this guy is the dumbest guy ever.
He's well, you know, he wants you to think he's
a homeless guy, and he is holding a sign up
that makes no sense. Guys don't say what it is
because if people want to see it, they can go
to our YouTube channel. But what do you think, honestly,
(20:30):
is it ridiculous? It's ridiculous. It's it's crazy. It'd be
like it'd be like someone holding a sign up saying
I just want a cigarette, and he's got a pack
of cigarettes. In his pocket, he's got a car yet
one in his mouth, and a carton in the floor.
It's absolutely insane. Or like, just give me a beer.
We've all seen those. Just give me a beer. And
(20:51):
he's got like eight cases of beer around him. Now,
what's the best sign you ever saw? And I'm gonna
get right back to this. But I mean, there's I
like the ones that probably just say, hey, why Lie,
I just want to be here, or I'm a drug
pretty give me a joint, whatever it happens to be. Hey,
I do want to go back and talk to Julie
(21:12):
just a little bit longer. Did we reach out to
that contractor Kelly.
Speaker 17 (21:15):
Yes, we did. I loved him a message.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Did he answer no?
Speaker 17 (21:19):
But his voicemail was an actual voicemail and not an
automated Okay.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Julie, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna we're gonna
lay the word out to him and hopefully we hear
back from him. Kelly's pretty good at leaving messages, So
when we hear back from him, we're gonna give you
a callback. Make sure we have all your information. In
the meantime, I would like you to send me a
PDF of that contract. I would like to look at
(21:45):
the verbiage, and I'd like to send it over to
one of our attorneys. But our attorney doesn't practice law
in Idaho. But it's for a general look at it.
For a legalese mind, I'd like him to eyeball it.
But from what you read to me, I would assume
there's not much you're going to do on the legal
side besides get in front of the judge and spend
a lot of money. The other thing, I'm curious, I
(22:08):
know a lender that has pulled off miracles and they
do lend an Idaho. Is that something you would like
to still look at because that house could appreciate over
the next few years. My goodness, it's a brand new
house and you could recoup those losses.
Speaker 12 (22:26):
Yeah, you know, I would be interested in. I mean,
right now, I'm at an igistrate of what six point two?
So if they could eat that, that would be nice.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, But who's it to six two? Your mom?
Speaker 11 (22:40):
No?
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Me, Oh, so you did go ahead.
Speaker 12 (22:43):
I didn't get the loan. That's what I'm walked in at.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Oh you're locked in at six to two, but you
can't get the loan, are you saying you can get
the loan, but you just haven't moved forward.
Speaker 16 (22:52):
Yeah, I can't get the loan.
Speaker 12 (22:53):
I'd have to have mortgage insurance, which I'm not too
thrilled about.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Yeah, but that doesn't add that much, honestly. Listen, and
I want to help you with the contractor. I want
to get John Clayson. I want you to stay on
for a second, Julie. I'm going to go on to
another call, but I want to get somebody on here. Hey, Mike,
what's going on? Mike? Michael? Hello, Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 7 (23:18):
Mike?
Speaker 18 (23:21):
Just looking for some advice?
Speaker 19 (23:22):
Really?
Speaker 2 (23:23):
What is it?
Speaker 13 (23:24):
Vehicle?
Speaker 7 (23:24):
A few years back?
Speaker 13 (23:26):
Uh?
Speaker 18 (23:27):
Got it, picked it up in Louisiana. Actually got a
call a couple of maybe almost a year after the purchase.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Hey, give us a little give us a little color,
Hold on, give us a little color. Is it a
car you were buying to drive? What kind of vehicle
is it? And how much?
Speaker 18 (23:44):
Uhs just over twenty seven K four and a Sierra
thirty five Duramax.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Okay, cool, nice vehicle.
Speaker 18 (23:54):
It is?
Speaker 13 (23:55):
It is?
Speaker 18 (23:55):
I had no trouble with the vehicle.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
But anyway, so you picked it up. Yeah, but let
me guess the title's not clear.
Speaker 18 (24:02):
What No, no, no, it's nothing like that. I'm coming
to the end of the loan and I was going
over the contract. Found out that they financed one hundred
percent of.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
The purchase price.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Not a big deal.
Speaker 18 (24:16):
I handled the payment, you know, I've been making payments whatever.
But about a year after I purchased it, I got
a call from the dealership saying, hey, we actually never
collected your down payment. It's a fourth time. You know,
we had talked about four thousand dollars out payment, No problem,
gave my card number, cleared it.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Everybody moves on, Well hold on, did they actually wait
wait wait, wait, wait wait wait, I'm gonna have questions
as we moved through here. Did they actually charge the
credit card four thousand? Did you actually end up paying
four thousand? Yes, you did so.
Speaker 18 (24:49):
I didn't think, you know, fat finger f of somebody
up the paperwork. We had agreed to that amount of
a down payment, so I really, you know, maybe be
a little irritated. I was like, yeah, it is what
it is, you know.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
So Mike, you you did pay. Hold on a second,
you did pay the four thousand dollars on your credit card,
But then you said something else. You said you financed
one hundred percent of it. So which one is it?
What does the paperwork say? What does the contract say?
Speaker 18 (25:19):
The contract says one hundred percent of the price. The
sale price is finance?
Speaker 2 (25:23):
And how much was it by?
Speaker 18 (25:24):
Four k?
Speaker 7 (25:25):
So?
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Hold on, So let's go back to twenty seven thousand.
They put twenty seven thousand on a loan. You had
a loan for twenty seven thousand with a credit union
or a bank or someone. Is that correct?
Speaker 20 (25:37):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (25:38):
And you gave them four thousand dollars. Yes, And the paperwork,
the actual contract that you both signed, does that show
a down payment of four thousand dollars with a balance
of twenty seven thousand to be financed? Or you're saying
the purchase price of that vehicle on that contract is
(25:59):
twenty seven one thousand dollars and you literally overpaid four
thousand dollars for that vehicle?
Speaker 14 (26:07):
Correct?
Speaker 2 (26:08):
I want to see the paperwork. Hold on, if you
can produce that paperwork, and I bet he can. I
believe everything he said they owe him four thousand dollars.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
They called him up and said they never collected the
down payment. So are they're looking for more?
Speaker 7 (26:19):
Money.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Well, okay, that's a good question, Kevin, real quick, Yeah,
why are they even contacting you now?
Speaker 18 (26:27):
Because they said they screwed up and the four thousand
dollars down payment was never collected. I should have I
should have told hold on, wait, wait, let me check
the paperworkings.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Mike, hold on a second. This is why I started
with this question. You literally not only gave them the
credit card number, but they charged four thousand dollars and
you paid it. You have a credit card statement somewhere
that shows blah blah blah charge four thousand dollars and
you paid it and they never refunded it. Correct. Okay, Hey,
(27:00):
so what are they saying they never got it? How
are they possibly saying that?
Speaker 18 (27:08):
When I was actually at the dealership, gave the sales
guy my card, he went off somewhere to run it,
came back, gave him my card back, and when they
called me, I actually went back through my statements for
that month and found that there was not a four
thousand dollars charge on the card. So I, okay, you
(27:29):
know I agreed to this payment, so I made the
payment and didn't think anything.
Speaker 13 (27:34):
More of it.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
When did you just make that how long ago.
Speaker 18 (27:38):
That's been probably two years, maybe a little more.
Speaker 7 (27:41):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Okay, so you did make it, and they know you
made it, but yet on the agreement it was sold
at twenty seven thousand and never talks about a down payment. Correct,
Why the hell would you give him four thousand? You
just never looked at it. You were trying to like
be a man of your word.
Speaker 18 (27:59):
Yeah, man, I agree to the down payment.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
And so you thought you would only have a loan
hold on. I want to make sure we're on the
same page. You thought you would only have a loan
for twenty three thousand.
Speaker 18 (28:13):
Yeah that ball, Yeah, a little more than that.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
But yes, okay, So that's where the problem is. You
go to pay off to the vehicle and you find
out you paid thirty one thousand for the vehicle, not
twenty seven like the contract says.
Speaker 18 (28:27):
Yeah, there's thirty one thousand is nowhere anywhere on the paperwork.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
I want to see that. Can you send us that
paperwork right now?
Speaker 18 (28:35):
I'm waiting on a copy of it from the bank.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Oh, I'm sorry about that.
Speaker 18 (28:40):
No, it's right over nothing. So I called the bank
to confirm what I thought was true.
Speaker 2 (28:46):
You know what I mean, yeah, what are you going
to have it? Here's what I want to do with you.
I want to see that paperwork, because that's a big
problem for them. If everything you're saying is correct. How
many years has it been period? You made that credit
card for four years?
Speaker 18 (29:04):
Well the payment in the neighborhood of two and a
half to three years.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I'll tell you if I haven't.
Speaker 18 (29:10):
Pulled the stabs set and take a look at it,
I don't know, but I'm trying to be at such
of the dealers.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
What state is the dealership Louisiana. I'm gonna look up
the statue up there on this. But here's the other thing.
They're gonna have a dealer board. I mean, you can't
simply sell a car for twenty seven thousand and then
charge thirty one for it. And he's gonna have all
the evidence. He's gonna have everything, and they're gonna have
to do the right thing on this man. I mean,
(29:37):
whether it's gonna be through the court system or the
legal system, or if it's gonna be through the dealer board.
I mean, the dealer board here in Colorado would slap
them up side the head. You can't tell someone the
vehicle's twenty seven. You sign it, he signs it, everything
says twenty seven. You send it over to financing for
twenty seven. Then you charge him four thousand on a
(29:59):
credit a card. You can't do it.
Speaker 8 (30:01):
Well, he hasn't had this conversation with the dealership yet either,
so they may just step up and do the right thing.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Yeah, why haven't you had this with them? You're waiting
for the paperwork?
Speaker 18 (30:11):
No, I've I've left to leave me multiple messages.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
And they're just not calling back.
Speaker 7 (30:19):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
What kind of dealership is it? Do they sell new vehicles?
Just use vehicles to buy here? Pay here?
Speaker 6 (30:24):
What is it?
Speaker 18 (30:25):
It's a big It's a big dealership right out of
New Orleans.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
What's it called.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I mean, that's I haven't heard of them. But okay,
hold on, man, I want that paperwork. When do you
think we can get that paperwork? Brother?
Speaker 18 (30:40):
They told me to be as long as a week.
I talked to them day before yesterday, So sometime within
the next four or five days, they're supposed to email
me a copy and send me a paper copy.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
You know, here's what I'd like to do. Hold on,
hold on, listen to what I'm saying. I'm putting you
on holdough. Hey, Kelly, I want to give this right
now to Deputy D. I want Deputy D in the
next hour. If he's listening, I think he is. I
would like him to call up the dealership and try
to get a copy of the paperwork. That's what i'd like.
(31:15):
If he's got to do a three way call with
this guy, that's fine, but call up. Don't say anything,
and I'm talking to both of them. I'm talking to
Mike and D right now. Don't say anything about what
we're trying to achieve. Just get a copy of the
damn paperwork. It shouldn't be that hard to get a
copy of the paperwork. See if we can get that.
If not, we're gonna have to wait for the paperwork
(31:37):
to come in through what he's doing through the credit
union or the bank. So let's just go from there.
Make sure we have all of Mike's information. Dan, you're
gonna be up next. We're gonna have two lines open
three oh three, seven to one three talk three oh three, Martino.
Speaker 15 (31:57):
Go with a sure thing. Denver's Best roof excel roofing

Speaker 2 (32:33):
All right three o three seven one three eight two
five five. You know someone, Jeff Vick made a good
point about to picture I put up on YouTube about
the guy holding a sign.
Speaker 7 (32:44):
It makes sense he's always hungry, Yeah he is.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
So it's a very heavy set guy holding a sign
saying I'm hungry, and I'm thinking, how is this even possible?
But Jeff, You're right, a lot of fat people are
always hungry.
Speaker 8 (32:58):
And henceforth, I have told you twice. Now I'm going
to scold you for a third time. Yes, you should
have given him a dose of your trouble glucis line

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Heckide I'm on the GLP one.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
I wonder if you could go to jail for that. Hey,
come over here, man, I'll hold a cheeseburger to get
him over to the window. Then when he comes over,
I stick him. I stick him with the jab. Now
you're not going to feel hungry in about eight hours, brother, Yeah,
something tells me you'd probably get in trouble just for
jab in somebody.
Speaker 8 (33:31):
I don't think the homeless go to the police on
a regular basis.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Probably not Okay, but I will admit this. You are right, man,
You're right. He probably if it said I'm starving, then
it would make sense. But to say I'm hungry, he
probably is literally hungry all the time.
Speaker 7 (33:47):
He's hungry all the time.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Oh, he looks like he's hungry all the time. Dan,
what's going on with you and FedEx?
Speaker 10 (33:56):
I'm mark, thanks for taking my call, of course, man.
So daughter is an upcoming artist and her medium of
art is canvases. So she painted a canvas. It was
forty eight inches at thirty six inches by one inch,
and she sold it to somebody online who went to
FedEx to ship it. She went to the FedEx shipping
(34:18):
center and had an employee helped her put everything together
to ship it.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Okay, hold on, Hold, on. I love this because I
think this is going to be an insurance deal. But
it sounds like they packed it, which is good because
the first thing they always do is say you didn't
pack it right. We're gonna find out what happened there
and a lot more right after this.
Speaker 15 (34:47):
Go with a sure thing Denver's Best Roofer Excel Roofing

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Yeah, rit of bad news, need advice?
Speaker 3 (35:26):
Who you don't have? Come running as fast as we
can show Shooter's gonna help coming man.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
This is the Troubleshooter Show. No Tom Martinez, Welcome, Welcome
my friends to the only show of it's can We're
here to solve problems, answer questions, take complaints. You got
a bad contractor in your life. Maybe a bad landlord,
maybe a bad attorney. We really don't care. We go
after all of them. We've already assigned two cases today,
one on a home builder or a GC that apparently
(36:00):
overcharged twenty four thousand. We're working that one in multiple angles.
And then we have another issue going on behind the scenes.
But it's also car day. What does that mean? That
means I've got car experts in uh well, from pretty
much to front range. We got Jesse Colorado Springs, Kevin
really Denver Metro than Jeff Vick. He specializes transmissions period.
(36:21):
I mean that's really all you do. I mean you'll
do other stuff.
Speaker 8 (36:24):
Drive trains, so transmission, transfer case differential, that's our main focus.
Speaker 7 (36:27):
Got it.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
You don't go to Kimera Transmission to get an oil changehop.
Speaker 20 (36:32):
No.
Speaker 8 (36:32):
I mean if we're doing if we're already doing a
project on your two oil change, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
We're happy to do that. I think when you were
doing a transmission service on one of our Santa Phase
years ago, I think you did a break job too.
You're like, hey, you need some pads. I think I
remember that.
Speaker 8 (36:46):
We're happy to do that. It's not something we generally
bring in us a standalone item.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
But and Kevin, you guys will do a transmission, but
you'll just r and r one another ones, you'll buy
one from someone like jeffep and then you'll just swap
it out, drop it out exactly. So I mean, really
that's the specialty you guys do a kimera. I mean,
you really crack that thing open and you rebuild it
from scratch.
Speaker 8 (37:08):
We will rebuild it from scratch. And the idea is
the majority of the time we can save you money
underneath that box unit.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Yeah, so let me ask you this, what is generally reusable?
Of course the case as long as you didn't hit
something but likes a flywheel, generally go.
Speaker 8 (37:24):
The flywheel on an automatic is actually called a flex plate.
It's not actually a flywheel because it has to be
thin enough that it looks like it. It looks like
a flywheel, but it's very thin. It has to be
able to actually move to flex with the torque vert
because it's gonna swell when it heats up.
Speaker 7 (37:38):
Got it.
Speaker 8 (37:38):
So something like a flywheel, that's something or a flex
plate rather, that's something to replace as necessary because teeth
or because it's cracked or something along those lines.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
So when someone comes in with any given transmission in general,
something that's easy to part do. You buy a kit
and the kit includes let's say, everything that should be replaced,
and you do that and then you look at the
other Well, kids.
Speaker 8 (38:00):
Come in different levels, so I mean you have overhaul kits,
and you have banner kits, you have master overhaul kits,
kits with steel, so on and so forth. So depending
on the level of the job that you're doing, it
determines the kit, and then everything else is all a
cart So you're you know, going through the vowel body.
There's different voel body kits for that. There's also specialized valves.
You may may or may not need, planetary gears. You
may ormain I need a drum, the pump will get rebuilt,
(38:22):
so there's different there's multiple components that go into it.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
How much less are you, generally than if someone goes
to a dealer and the dealer. Dealers don't even rebuild
transmissions anymore, They get from the manufacturer already rebuilt.
Speaker 7 (38:36):
There a few dealers have builders on house.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
And one yeah, I don't think. I can't think any
of the do. It just doesn't make sense to their model.
I mean, the vehicles there.
Speaker 7 (38:44):
To the profit margins just not there for them.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
So what generally do you save somebody from a boxed
dealer transmission?
Speaker 8 (38:52):
It's got to be easily about two thirds the price.
Oh wow, Yeah, so, I mean there's a lot of them.
It's getting harder and harder to do that because all
these parts are going way up in price. Yeah, so
sometimes we're kissing it. But especially you know on a
lot of truck. We do a lot of truck. You know,
we're doing a lot of upgrades inside there to increase
the durability and their effectiveness. So the justification is that,
(39:13):
you know, you're actually getting a better unit than you
can get out of that box.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Got it? Listen? We had actually we had full lines
going into break and two of them dropped off. I'd
love to hear back from you. Three oh three seven
to one, three eight two five five three oh three Martino.
We're going to go back to Dan. Though his daughter
isn't an art is an artist and basically painted something
and brought it to FedEx one of these packing ship fedexes.
(39:39):
I assume FedEx owned it, although they could be a
franchise and they actually packed it up and they shipped it.
Is that right, Dan, that's right, But it's not insurance. Okay,
So where did everything go from there? They packed it up,
they shipped it. Now what.
Speaker 10 (39:55):
They charged her eighty five dollars and ninety nine cents
when she was there in charge against their credit card
to ship it.
Speaker 7 (40:02):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (40:03):
A few days later, an invoice shows up for one
thoy twenty five dollars.
Speaker 14 (40:10):
Why additional Why?
Speaker 10 (40:14):
Their fine print apparently says we can adjust your shipping
rate once we adjust to whatever the actual package is.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
And describe this package again, it's a canvas? What size
it's a.
Speaker 10 (40:28):
It's an art can forty eight inches by thirty six inches,
so four by three by one inch.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
And that's the whole package size. I mean, the package
has got to be a little bigger.
Speaker 10 (40:42):
Yeah, it's a little bigger because it's got cardboard or whatever.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Yeah, but it's not it's not like they put it
in a refrigerator box, right, I mean, it's basically a
little bit more on the cardboard.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
I can't understand, for the life of me even why
that would cost a thousand? How much did this thing weigh?
It's just a canvas.
Speaker 5 (41:02):
Weights five pounds.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
So when you when you call up, what do they say,
I mean, did she overnight it? Did she ship it
thirty minute guarantee or something? I mean, what kind of shipping?
Speaker 10 (41:13):
Was it cheated not? She wanted to ship it as
cheaply as possible. Yeah, that's what she told the agent.
And I shipped the exact same thing and it costs
me one hundred and twenty one dollars.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
For the life of me, how did they justify this?
Did she not go back down there?
Speaker 5 (41:31):
They don't justify it.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
They just point to that she went.
Speaker 10 (41:36):
Back down there and said what's going on? They said, oh, yeah,
that must be an error. Called this a revenue number
or whether they have like a revenue number to call.
So she called that text to them and then emailed
them all the information and they said, yep, it's one
thy twenty five dollars. And they said, well, we'll give
you two hundred and sixty dollars as a concurratcy credit
(41:58):
against that invoice.
Speaker 9 (42:00):
That sounds absolutely We ship transmissions across the country for
four hundred bucks on FedEx.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
This makes no sense. And you're saying she didn't buy
any insurance. She didn't check a box saying I want
like twenty grand of insurance or something.
Speaker 10 (42:16):
She didn't insure it.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
No, she didn't insure it at all.
Speaker 7 (42:20):
I would contest that charge with us with a credit card.
Speaker 10 (42:23):
Insured for whatever, the minimum hundred dollars or whatever.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
They're Yeah, whatever it comes with. Where did she ship
it from? Where is this in Colorado going out? Or
is it coming in? Or what?
Speaker 4 (42:34):
It went?
Speaker 10 (42:34):
From New York San Francisco.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Cross country, New York to San Francisco.
Speaker 10 (42:42):
I cannot to Indiana for one hundred and twenty one
dollars and they are just like stonewalling at the issue.
Speaker 5 (42:50):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
I cannot Did they actually issue that one credit already?
Speaker 5 (42:57):
Well, they haven't sent a.
Speaker 10 (42:58):
New invoice with that showing credited. No, but they said
that they did.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
I want to tell you what I would do, But
I've got a couple of questions I want to ask
and hopefully you know the answers. So she goes in
and they swipe her credit card and they give her
a receipt for the initial eighty five bucks.
Speaker 7 (43:14):
Yes, so on that.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Receipt that she literally signed, there's nothing but that eighty
five dollars. It doesn't say anything like, you know, it
might be one thousand dollars. It just says eighty five bucks, right,
And then a couple days later, because they already have
the information, does it rebuild the eighty five dollars or
(43:37):
is it an additional thousand?
Speaker 10 (43:41):
It's an additional thousand, and it set off the fraud
alert at the card. So she said, I don't know
what this is.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
Yeah, okay, did she call her credit card company? What
did she call the credit card company?
Speaker 13 (43:58):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (43:59):
And did she justute the thousand?
Speaker 6 (44:02):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (44:03):
And what did they do? Did they give her the
provisional credit?
Speaker 10 (44:07):
Yeah, it was never charged. They never let it go through.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
Okay, so she's not out a thousand. That's great news.
So I mean she afraid FedEx is going to come after.
Speaker 10 (44:19):
And I mean posted on her credit.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
I mean, now, wait a minute, wait, why would it
be on her credit.
Speaker 10 (44:27):
If she doesn't pay an invoice, that's issue. They can't
mark that against their credit score.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
No, no, no, they'd have to go get a judgment
that that would be not good. They can't do that.
In fact, FedEx is big enough to know they're not
going to do that. I mean, they're smaller companies that
might try it. No unless if there's some contractual agreement
of that thousand, and I would argue all day long
there wasn't. I mean, I just would. But if they
came after her for that amount, actually I like where
(44:54):
you're at right now. Here's what I was going to
tell you For people listening, though, If she did get
charged additional thousand bucks, not only would I can test it,
I would say it was fraud. I would say I
don't know anything about it, have no idea. I did
one thing with this company a week ago or whatever
it was, for eighty five bucks.
Speaker 7 (45:15):
That was it.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
I gave them their credit card number, here's the receipt
right here, and now they're charging me another thousand. I
never did anything. That's what I would have done. But
we're not even there. Well, actually we are there. She
did exactly that. I would not be afraid of them
coming after her for this. It would be nice if
they would negotiate and do something. So I'll offer you
(45:37):
two things, Dan, I don't mind putting a deputy on this.
If you want someone to reach out and go, how
is this even possible? Because I find it egregious to
ship something that's five pounds the slowest possible way by
FedEx that cost one thousand bucks with no insurance, no
stated value. I find this insane. I don't even I
(46:00):
don't even know what's wrong with it. So I don't
mind having a deputy call up and trying to reach
out to public relations. We might even have an angel
there and say, hey, look into this. She doesn't mind
paying a little more if that's what it is, but
ten times more. Are your people so stupid? Literally, are
your people at the counters so dumb? They get it
(46:23):
that wrong? Who could give an estimate that wrong? I mean,
that's kind of the tact we would take with it,
but it probably is going to be a little higher,
or I just sit back and not do a damn thing.
The last thing I would do is pay it now.
The only thing I'm afraid of is because of the
way she protested with her credit card company. Did she
(46:44):
acknowledge what did she acknowledge to the credit card company?
Because if she said yeah, and then apparently I signed
something saying it could be more, well if FedEx tells
them the same thing, and they're probably going to reverse
that credit. So I don't really know where she's at
with her credit card company. Usually it can be sixty days.
(47:06):
How long is it these days for a chargeback? Guys?
Do you know.
Speaker 9 (47:10):
We have to answer within like five days, five to
seven days, or else it's.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Over or else it's over. So I don't know where
it is with the chargeback part, Dan, but that could
be an issue in the future. So really it's up
to you. Would you like me to assign someone to
call up?
Speaker 10 (47:27):
That'd be great because I'm getting nowhere.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
Yeah, that's fine, so send us over. I need the receipt.
If you have a picture of the canvas or picture
of something the same size, it doesn't have to be
the same thing. And then you already saw the weight,
I would assume right on the FEDEC sticker they weigh
it and it actually says five pounds, right, yeah, I mean.
Speaker 10 (47:48):
On the invoice that they sent for one thousand, they
said that it weighed five pounds. Perfect, they kicked it
into a ninety pounds category.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
I mean on the receipt where they charged you a
thousd ho in it says it's ninety pounds. Yeah, well
wait a minute, does it say it's five pounds but
they charge you for ninety pounds? I mean, what does
it literally say on the.
Speaker 5 (48:10):
Receipt that's what it says, item weigh five pounds ninety
pounds card.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
Well, that sounds like it's just a screw up. Okay,
I need a copy of that, so I'm going to
put you on hold. Get that over right now. I
want to see that. Get that over to Kelly asap,
even if you just got a text it to her
or email it, email it real quick to her. Yeah,
I mean that's crazy. What do you guys think on this?
You guys ship stuff all the time, all of you.
Speaker 7 (48:38):
Yeah, there's Steve.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
Do you ship stuff rock and roll Brewery? I mean
I don't. Can you ship beer? I don't even know we.
Speaker 20 (48:44):
Are gonna ship merchandise soon? Right now you have to
pick it up at the brewery. But we are, you know,
I'm set up for It's all fedacts, So.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
I don't get it. How do you I never realize
that I used to ship stuff, not necessarily in the
automotive I've had stuff shipped in. But in the computer business,
I'd be shipping motherboards all across the country.
Speaker 7 (49:04):
No, we seriously ship motors across country for four or
five hundred bucks.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Do they ever tell you it could possibly be more
absolutely not, No, I have never heard of this. Hey, Kelly,
before you hang up on him, drag and make sure
she understands this. I want the actual location. If it's
not on the receipt, I want to see if that's
a company FedEx store. We might have some rogue franchise
(49:27):
out there trying to put on the okie doke.
Speaker 15 (49:37):
Go with a sure thing Denver's Best roofer Excel Roofing
dot com. You don't pay a cent until you're content.
Time for an insurance checkup free, no obligation. In comparison,
call Compass Insurance paying too much your coverage at dozens
of insurance companies find out now three oh three, seven
to seven to one help. You'll think you're his only
(49:58):
customer when you choose Frank Ran the real estate Man
dot com to list your home with Remax Alliance three
oh three nine two zero sixteen twenty two.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
All right, three three seven one three eight two five five.
I'm trying to pull up that receipt. It's crazy on
this FedEx deal. The more I think about it. We
were talking during the break, I mean guys, Kevin said
he ships engines all over the country.
Speaker 7 (50:25):
For how much on a Pallette four or five hundred bucks?
Speaker 2 (50:27):
Four or five hundred bucks. Jesse brought up something that
was crazy. Not only did you ship a car, but
the car was full of stuff, and how much was that?
Speaker 6 (50:35):
It was eleven hundred bucks, including five hundred over the weight.
So they could throw you know, TVs and bowling balls
and clothing. This they could ship their house.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Out almost people with signs sorry yeah, and then okay,
here it is FedEx. I want to actually see this.
I'm going to put this up on her YouTube too.
It's probably dim package that was fluffy but took up
a lot of space. Oh no, that's some lady saying.
That's some lady like trying to justify Robin. I appreciate
(51:03):
your email. I love when people. But she's saying, interestingly enough,
it's probably a dimmed package that was fluffy but took
up a lot of space. I mean, I get what
she's saying. It's just a large package. I just had
a one of those mattresses that rolls up into a box.
The thing had to weigh one hundred pounds as a
(51:23):
king size and granted its foam so they roll up.
But the box was huge it was like five six
feet tall and weighed over one hundred pounds. It came
FedEx and was less than one hundred bucks to ship.
So none of this makes sense to me, and I
still don't have it, Kelly. I don't know how we're
going to figure that out. Oh wait, it just came through.
I'm sorry. Here we go. I got to look at
(51:44):
this and then I'll put it up over the break.
But I want to see this actual receipt FedEx shipping.
This is the credit, this is that, this is that. Okay,
that's not the right thing. I love when I'm looking
and talking. It's same time. There's a lot of danger
that could be had here. Okay, here's the receipt FedEx. Yep,
(52:06):
it was like one hundred and twenty seven bucks. I'm
gonna look at that a little more. Hey, I got
to flip this around on my computer and stuff to
really look at this. But I want you to hang
on Dan, if you've got time, because I might have
questions after I digest this, so just hang tight. I'm
gonna move on to Jeff right now, but I do
want to tell everybody this hour is brought to you
(52:30):
by Denver Region. I have been taking this shot of
the GLP ones now for six months. I've dropped forty
five pounds. I'm gonna get off of it soon, so
that'll be a new adventure. But I'm telling you right now,
if you want to lose weight, you want to cheat. Yeah,
it is cheating. I don't care what you say. It's cheating.
You don't feel hungry, and the food noise is gone.
(52:51):
These guys ordered pizza like we do every Friday. I
guarantee I want to have one slice of pizza. But
it's not because I'm sitting here holding back. Everybody's dieted
before and the cheesecake comes out and you go crazy.
Or if you're doing no carbs, the good beer comes
out and you can't drink it and all you do
is think about it. The food noise is gone with
(53:12):
these drugs. That's what's remarkable about them. The MD is included,
the doctor's visits. You're gonna have access to the MD
pretty much anytime you want the drugs. Everything's included. Less
than three Indred bucks a month. No one's doing it
at those kind of prices. Denverregen dot com, Denverregen dot
com now Jeff's got a comment on FedEx. Go ahead, Jeff,
(53:34):
what's your comment?
Speaker 4 (53:36):
Yeah, Hey, well, I ship a lot of different stuff eBay,
et cetera, been doing it for years, and FedEx has
really jack or rates lately.
Speaker 2 (53:44):
Yeah, but form one hundred to one thousand.
Speaker 4 (53:47):
Oh yeah, No, I'm just gonna say, but yeah, yeah,
that's completely insane. But the lady that mentioned the dimensional thing,
yeah that is a factor. Yeah, okay, but probably a
quick way to solve it. Jump online FedEx dot com. Now,
I don't think you need an account, but I've got
an account. But if you jump on FedEx dot com,
you can build a shipment. Yeah, and just fill in
(54:10):
what it was where from where to the dimensions?
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Okay, they you have an account? Are you in front
of a computer? Now?
Speaker 7 (54:17):
For us? Out your number?
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Hold on, I want to deputize you. If I send
you this receipt, can you plug it in in? This
receipt from FedEx looks like it has dimensions and everything,
and we already got the dimensions.
Speaker 13 (54:29):
I'm sitting in my car.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
I could do it later today.
Speaker 2 (54:31):
Well that's not gonna help me. What kind of deputy
are you?
Speaker 10 (54:34):
Not?
Speaker 2 (54:34):
What you work for the Denver Police Department. I'm getting robbed. No,
I'm kidding, man, I'm just an idea.
Speaker 20 (54:41):
Man.
Speaker 2 (54:42):
Do you guys have a FedEx account? None of you?
Do you have a FedEx? Oh he doesn't. That's great.
You're like the deputy I have. He never shows up.
He's at the donuts store. All right, Hey, Jeff, I
appreciate that. We're going to do that no matter what,
We're going to find an account number or let's just
see guys, someone go to FedEx and see if you
(55:04):
need an account number.
Speaker 7 (55:08):
Yeah, you do.
Speaker 4 (55:09):
Gibs counts based on your shipping volumes.
Speaker 2 (55:12):
So well, here's what kills me about this one more
than anything, even if their rates one up. Think about this.
You walk into a FedEx store, you have the damn
thing with you. They see the size of it, they
measure it, they weigh it, they put the weight on there,
and they charge you one hundred bucks. Then two days
later their estimate is so bad it's actually a thousand.
(55:36):
Is that really possible? No, that's just not I agree,
And that's the problem with this. They they said, whoops,
we made a mistake. I can understand. To get somewhere,
and it's you know, another twelve bucks. I'm curious how
many times it goes down though, you think once in
the in FedEx history, someone ships something for one hundred
(56:00):
and the final receipts eighty five. I say, no, HF,
I appreciate it. Man, three oh three seven to one
three eight two five five. I'm going to digest this.
We have two lines open right now. I'm going to
digest this receipt over this break. But I do got
to bring this up. I'm staring at it. How many
tickets do you have left?
Speaker 7 (56:19):
Steve?
Speaker 2 (56:20):
So we're talking about check it out. Rock and Roll
Brewery forty years of brewing beers. They're a local brewery.
In fact, he opened up this year, his first year.
But he's been brewing beer in his brewery forever, but
now he can actually have people there and enjoy it.
In brew Fest twenty twenty five, celebrating forty years, he's
got seventeen different beers he makes. He's been on the
(56:41):
show numerous times. But it's coming up a week from Saturday.
Speaker 20 (56:45):
Yes, sir, and you know how many tickets last? We
have a lot of them sold. We'd like to we'd
like to dump up at least ten more tickets today.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
That's it just ted.
Speaker 20 (56:54):
Well, you know there's some that are all right, here's
the deserved for some other people.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
Can I get this price yet or no?
Speaker 20 (57:03):
What you can do is you can get for forty
five dollars, you're gonna get a seven piece Famous Daves.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Hold on, let me do it. I get paid to
do this. Seriously, people listen to this, and there's people
that have paid seventy five. In fact, I got some
friends paid seventy five. But he's down to the last
few tickets, so you know you gotta get them quick.
It's fully catered by Famous Daves, so you're gonna have
a full seven piece dinner. You're gonna get free VIP
(57:29):
NASCAR race tickets, and if you've never been out to
the races, it's an unbelievable time. In fact, Steve sets
up Rock and Roll Brewery out there and sells beer
during you too, so you'll be able to see him again.
Out there, they're gonna have a live band. Remember all,
this is a week from Saturday. A chance to win
a Fender Stratocaster guitar, and then you get a free
(57:51):
event t shirt which is kick ass. Is it the
one you're wearing.
Speaker 20 (57:54):
Yes, sir, there's two different designs. These are there's different philosphies.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
I'm gonna have a hold on during the week ago.
I want you to show the camera the shirt they get.
So if you go, if they go to YouTube dot
com and type in Troubleshooter Network. But you've got a lot.
Oh yeah, that is a cool zombie staff. I love it.
You're gonna love these T shirts. And they're not cheap.
It's not like that cotton that shrinks up. What is that?
What do they call that?
Speaker 20 (58:18):
It's almost like a Spandex POLYESTERUSPANX.
Speaker 2 (58:21):
It's kick ass.
Speaker 7 (58:22):
They're like sixty dollars shirts. I don't do cheap adventures.
Speaker 2 (58:25):
So you get a you get a sixty dollars shirt,
you get catered meal, you get the VIP race ticket. Now,
a couple of weeks ago you were doing two VIP
race tickets. That's different because that was seventy five bucks.
Speaker 7 (58:38):
I have a new.
Speaker 2 (58:39):
Deal today, you have a new one.
Speaker 7 (58:40):
Yeah, we want to do we want to get a
ten ticket sold.
Speaker 20 (58:43):
What well, if you do the VIP forty five, of
course you get you know everything you just mentioned. You know,
you get the admission you get the shirt, you get
the VIP NASCAR ticket.
Speaker 2 (58:54):
Give them a free mug.
Speaker 7 (58:55):
Dude, get the seven piece famous dag.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
You give them one of those kickass bucks.
Speaker 20 (58:59):
There's sixty their glass sixteen ounce event mugs.
Speaker 7 (59:06):
Brus took our logo on it and they have a
huge a red dye on the bottom. The really cool,
super high quality.
Speaker 20 (59:14):
I'm gonna give you that butt, but if they tell
me it's from you, they heard it on the show.
Speaker 7 (59:18):
I'm also gonna jim an event hat.
Speaker 2 (59:21):
Okay, so hold on, hold on. So there's gonna be
people out there, listen. Almost every brewery Suzanne and I visit,
we buy some kind of garb. Almost everyone everyone in
most T shirts. I don't care if it's one oh
five in Castle Rock, I don't care who it is.
I'm telling you most places get thirty to sixty dollars
for a T shirt. Okay, Now you're gonna get the
(59:43):
T shirt. It's a fully catered meal. You're gonna get
to VIP NASCAR tickets. You're gonna get a chance to
win the Fender Stratocaster. You're gonna be hanging out with
some really cool people.
Speaker 7 (59:54):
Live music guys will probably jam with them.
Speaker 2 (59:57):
Yeah, and Steve, by the way, he does our intro
when we come back next hour. That's the intro. He's
done the tree farm. This guy does jingles. That's how
he pays the bills. His his passion, his beer. You're
gonna get the mug. I feel like I should be
on the Home Shopping Network. Right, you get the mug,
you get the hat, you get the t shirt.
Speaker 7 (01:00:15):
Oh wait, there's more.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Wait wait, wait there's more. It's incredible.
Speaker 7 (01:00:20):
I have a deal. I want to propose something more. Well, Uh,
hold on, I.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Gotta take hold on. I gotta break.
Speaker 15 (01:00:35):

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
You know, listen, I want everybody to understand what this
FedEx receipt says. It's absolutely insane. So what happened is
this guy's daughter goes in and ships something and this
is FedEx ground FedEx office in Greenwood Village. In fact,
let me ask him. So he shipped it out of
(01:01:27):
Greenwood Village or she did?
Speaker 7 (01:01:32):
Jeff, I thought she's in New York.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
Yeah, I'm a little confused here on this receipt.
Speaker 7 (01:01:39):
It was Dan that you were talking her.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Dan, I'm sorry, Dan, Yeah, So what is this receipt
you sent me?
Speaker 10 (01:01:47):
That receipt is.
Speaker 5 (01:01:48):
A receipt the one that I had sent previously.
Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
Yeah, but I want to see the receipt they charged her.
Where is that?
Speaker 10 (01:01:56):
If you look at the last page of that PDF, yeah,
or the last few pages, that's the invoice.
Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
The FedEx billing online. Is that what it is?
Speaker 10 (01:02:07):
That was rebuilding the package like that guy just offered.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
Yeah, I see that for the thousand, one thousand, twenty
five bucks. But where's the original one?
Speaker 5 (01:02:18):
The original one's not there.
Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
Well, that's what I need more than anything. How do
I know the original one didn't say a thousand bucks.
Speaker 5 (01:02:26):
If you look at the first page of that invoice,
it shows a credit for the eighty five ninety nine
that they charged her card against that thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
I get that, But here's what I want. That receipt
you sent me. That has nothing to do with this,
but I understand why you sent it because it's very similar.
I get it. But it has the size, it has
the weight, it has the packing, it has everything, it
has everything. Does she have something like that?
Speaker 7 (01:02:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:02:57):
I need to get that. That's the piece don't have.
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
That's the piece for the That's the piece I want.
I'm putting them back on hold. Honest to god, guys,
that's the piece I want.
Speaker 11 (01:03:07):
That.
Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
I'm going to have probably Deputy Bow or Chop or
reach out directly to FedEx. In fact, I'll ask Suzanna
if we have an angel there. We'll figure that out.
But that's what I need to see. I need to
be convinced that she didn't check something that has to
do with insurance or something. I got to make sure
what the hell I'm up against. I get this. This
(01:03:29):
basically says it costs one thousand dollars to ship it,
and that's what they charged her. You literally sent me
everything I don't want, So let's get that three zero
three seven one three A two five five. I gotta
take a break because I ran so long in that
last one. But three zero three Martino, it's car to
any car questions I'd love to hear. Do you guys
(01:03:50):

Speaker 7 (01:04:09):

Speaker 20 (01:04:10):

Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
All the axes brand new? But I'm talking about I'm
talking about sports car and the axes Suzann's. That's not mine.
Don't say that. I've already been corrected on that many times.

and we're gonna battle down to three. And for those three,
people are gonna win something, and somebody's gonna win the guitar.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
I might do a little kirk Ham.
Speaker 7 (01:06:47):
You win an air guitar, so you at least get.
Speaker 2 (01:06:52):
You know what, he's giving away, six air guitars.
Speaker 7 (01:06:56):
You give my kidney if I have to.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
You get a free hat, you get a free mug,
you get everything. It's forty five bucks. Forty five bucks,
and this stuff costs more than.
Speaker 20 (01:07:07):
Forty If not make a dime on admission, people think,
oh my god, forty five dollars.
Speaker 7 (01:07:12):
I'm trying to cover my cost.
Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
I'm always trying to get his t shirts and hats
and promote him. I guess that's trying to everybody.
Speaker 7 (01:07:19):
You good stuff. I didn't want a cheap meal. I
didn't want cheap shirts. You know, I want people to
have fun.
Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
This is our first one is going.
Speaker 20 (01:07:27):
To be an annual cover year is going to be
you know the same thing, bruf Us twenty twenty six
next year.
Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
So we want to have fun. We want to walk
away happy.
Speaker 8 (01:07:36):
And you can't get three people out of McDonald's for
forty five dollars. No, No, you're getting famous daves, you're
getting beer. You're getting a good time, spending hours seven
piece face.
Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
You know if you say seven piece again, that drives
me crazy when you say that. Listen, you say famous
Dave's meal. You love this seven piece. I swear to
against a lot more. Okay, trag in your brain. If
someone said you get a five piece dinner, or a
seven piece dinner, or a twelve piece dinner, does any
(01:08:07):
of it make sense?
Speaker 20 (01:08:08):
It does when you say you get brisket, you get
hot links, you get mac and cheese, you get beans, coleslaw, cornbread.
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
And a napkin and a napkin that includes utensils.
Speaker 7 (01:08:23):
Come on, little what.
Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
He loves that though I swear to God every time
he always starts out Steve always. I don't know what
is in your mind. It's almost a little bit of
OCD where you have to say it's a seven piece
meal because.
Speaker 20 (01:08:36):
I negotiated for a long time and I finally talked
him into a seven piece for the price of a
six piece.
Speaker 11 (01:08:41):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
Now it comes to from which the truth comes out.
He spent four hours negotiating.
Speaker 7 (01:08:48):
I'm kidding, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Scooping on mac and cheese.
Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
They don't give you a deal on anything. I'm kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
It's a kick ass deal. Though, so really not many
left ten fifteen tops rock in Role dot beer the
forty five bucks. Really you get tons of stuff there.
Susanne and I will be up there, so we look
forward to seeing you listen another two hours coming three
oh three Martino three oh three seven, one three eight,

This is.
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
The Troubleshooter Show. No Tom Martino all right, three oh

welcome to the show, the only show of it's camera
here to solve problems, answer questions, take complaints. It's Friday.
We're having a lot of fun on the show today,
but I really do want to sink in and solve
some problems. So if you've been ripped off for taking
(01:10:46):
advantage of police three oh three, Martino, it's a perfect
time to call. I got three lines open. I'll go
to the phones in a second. I want to introduce
everybody here. We've got Jesse Schillinger from Colorado Springs Honest
Accurate Auto Service. You guys got a couple locations up there,
and you guys kick ass for us up there. We
(01:11:07):
have a lot of people call from Colorado Springs that
need a good mechanic, good technicians, and you guys do
a great job. You do tires, yep, you do alignments,
you gotta do alternators, breaks, engines, transmissions. What don't you do?
Maybe that's a better way.
Speaker 6 (01:11:21):
We don't paint cars.
Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
You do not do bodywork.
Speaker 7 (01:11:24):
Bodywork yep.
Speaker 6 (01:11:25):
Everything else we'll take care of.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
So now let me ask you what is that place? Guys?
Where like if you break a mirror? I mean like
the whole assembly. You can buy him for pretty dirt
cheap in Denver, like on a Ford F one. No,
not factory it's.
Speaker 9 (01:11:39):
Uh oh yeah, the body supply do.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
You guys like, would you do something like that if
someone needed Yeah, you would do that.
Speaker 6 (01:11:47):
We just don't do bodywork, fenders, paint. I'll fix a bumper,
no problem, We do merors. Yep, gotcha covered.
Speaker 2 (01:11:54):
You do all that.
Speaker 7 (01:11:54):
Yep.
Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
I've got a windshield guy, so a lot of people
will drop off in the morning. I'll call him, he'll
come over and do the windshield. We'll to the service,
you pick it up, both are done. You're happy, but
good to.
Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
Go where you bill insurance for that or no?
Speaker 10 (01:12:04):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
They will yes?
Speaker 7 (01:12:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
In other words, you do it and they send it
about it. Yep, you're talking about curt Fit CURTI Fit.
I used to sell there. I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 7 (01:12:14):
Not that stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
No, I'm telling you you could get. The color can
be an issue, but a lot of times it's not
a lot of times if it's a normal one of
the four or five major they have it. So let's
say you have a mirror and it's electric. The full
blown Ford f one fifty fifty Toyota. Whatever mirror gets
taken off, curtifit might be one hundred bucks back in
(01:12:35):
the day for the whole thing, the whole unit where
the dealer and I'm not kidding, could be eight nine
hundred dollars.
Speaker 9 (01:12:42):
And the quality is different. I mean it's it's a
little different. It's not apples to Apple.
Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
No, but if you're getting a mirror on a you know,
a twenty twenty Santa fe come.
Speaker 7 (01:12:51):
On exactly, No, there's a there's a place for it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
That's Kevin Cauk and shared an Auto Tech. Kevin, you
do a lot of pre purchase Jesse. I assume you
do too.
Speaker 7 (01:13:00):
Yeah, we were just joking about that.
Speaker 9 (01:13:01):
We we hate doing the post purchased inspection as opposed
to the pre purchase.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
I heard you guys talking about that last hour, and
of course the difference is massive, especially Yeah, who buys
it and then brings it in and says, hey, what
kind of condition is it? Really? But who are those people?
Why why do they wait?
Speaker 7 (01:13:20):
Well, we don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:13:21):
They say they have seven days to return it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Yeah, they think they did.
Speaker 7 (01:13:25):
That's what they told me.
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
I've got a three day writer or whatever exactly. You know,
you were saying something that was really funny. Though we
have that call here all the time. I bought the
vehicle and a week later it needs transmission or you know,
three days later it needs this, and the extended warranty
I bought won't cover it because they say it was
a pre existing condition, whatever the problem is. But they
(01:13:47):
never had it checked out, had it checked And we're
pretty much you know the show, Tom and myself, we're
in their face. It's like, why didn't you have a
checked out? But the reason we do that is so
people listening get it checked out. It's not to break
the caller. It's a little educated, well maybe a little
bit so. But you were saying, this is really funny
(01:14:07):
thinking about as a shop owner, because I was years ago.
You're kind of right, but I was still probably a
little more in your face, a little more in your face.
But explain what I'm talking about. You If someone brings
in for a post inspection and it's got all kinds
of problems. It could even have rust, it might need
an engine, it could be anything horrible.
Speaker 6 (01:14:29):
We tried to present it gently, gently, gently, Ah, we're sorry,
but you know what we're honest, we're accurate, but we're
trying to be gentle.
Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
That that three thousand dollars car with two hundred and
forty thousand miles you just bought, it's not as great
as you thought it was. In fact, it probably needs
about twelve thousand dollars worth of work. So pretty much
we feel really bad for you here at honest accurate?
Is that? What am I doing this right?
Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
Or exactly?
Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:14:58):
You give him this and you say, yeah, that's about
ten thousand in work. So the three thousand you bought
the car for it might not be the best deal
you got.
Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
See where I tried to work them up. I go
back to that dealer right now. I'd slap them over
the head. You see that discount tire commercial. No I'm kidding,
but you see that more than pre inspections, guys, for real.
Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
I don't know about more. I mean a lot of
people are pretty smart about the pre purchase, but we
see a fair amount of post purchase.
Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
Now, how many times do you see a pre purchase
and there's nothing wrong with the car?
Speaker 6 (01:15:30):
Ever, it's pretty rare, you Sally, you could cars or cars.
Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
Take get a car off the road and we can
pick those things apart.
Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
Yeah, you gotta, you gotta find something.
Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
You get one once in a while, it's just and
you amaze yourself. You look at you like, wow, it's
incredibly Yeah, i'd buy this. Yeah, yeah, blame you.
Speaker 6 (01:15:47):
Take this back, now, bring me something else. This one
ain't worth it.
Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
I would think with a pre purchase worst scenario, absolute
worst scenario, you can give them a writeup of stuff
it needs and they can go back and negotiate down.
Speaker 6 (01:16:00):
We'd like to give them things that are upcoming to
in prices, so they know, hey, you might need break
once you're at four. You don't need them now, but
you're going to need them in a year, right, So
put that in there. A little bit that you're going
in with.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
On newer vehicles, like someone's buying let's say something I
guess i'd consider, let's say a twenty fifteen and up.
So on a vehicle in the last ten years, do
you really need to do a compression check or will
the check engine light and other factors they make it
to where there's no purpose in doing a compression check anymore.
Speaker 9 (01:16:28):
I would only do the compression test to verify what
we saw through the scanner.
Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
So if the scanner's saying, hey, misfire on three or whatever.
Speaker 9 (01:16:36):
It yes, or if the scanner's been reset and what
they you know, the monitors have not reset. So somebody's
cleared codes, stay away from just stay away. Yeah, somebody's
cleared codes for a reason.
Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
Why would We had a caller that had a newer
Santa Fe in fact, it was still under warranty about
twenty thousand miles fifteen, twenty five thousand, whatever it was.
They had a misfire number three that came on and
they said like they couldn't get it cleared. Everything they
said seemed to run fine, but they brought it to
AutoZone or whatever and they couldn't clear the code. The
(01:17:09):
computer wouldn't allow them to clear it. And I've used
scanners and generally you just hit clear. Could that be
because it was still happening? Or why could you not
clear a code because you have a cheap code reader? Okay,
and that's what they see.
Speaker 7 (01:17:24):
The condition is still there.
Speaker 6 (01:17:26):
Or the condition is there or that now other things
that have to happen before you clear it. Sometimes we
have to do different programming and things like that.
Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
But could you a misfire code Kevin, you worked out
one of my RVs years ago, yep, and it was
a ten cylinder four chassis I think yep, and you
ended up doing a coil on it. It cost me less
to go to Kevin. It was still under warranty, but
then I'd have to drive it and keep it at
trans West and blah blah blah. I was like screws.
(01:17:53):
So I brought it to Kevin. So when I dropped
it off, you said, a misfire is either going to
be a coil, or it could be a spark plug
or spark plug wire or then of course big issues
like a cylinder problem. And it turned out to be
a coil. So is it possible to have a misfire
code and then all of a sudden it does go away?
Is that even possible without replacing anything?
Speaker 6 (01:18:15):
Yes, Hondas have valves that we have to adjust, Yeah,
every hundred thousand, and people don't understand that correctly.
Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
How much does that cost?
Speaker 6 (01:18:23):
It's not cheap?
Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
Well, what's nice for six hundred bucks worth of work?
But it's is it literally called for in the manual?
Speaker 7 (01:18:28):
Correct?
Speaker 6 (01:18:29):
And if you don't do the valve adjust you can
cause misfires that will come and go.
Speaker 7 (01:18:33):
Because that damage to the heads.
Speaker 6 (01:18:35):
Well, if you don't do them, can you.
Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Have an intermittent coil problem?
Speaker 7 (01:18:40):
Is absolutely?
Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
So what like when it's super hot maybe.
Speaker 7 (01:18:43):
Yep, yeah, under load under certain Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
So how do you diagnose that? So let's say a
misfire on number two or number whatever, and you guys
pull it up and you're going to see the same code,
even a cheap code reader sees. So how do you
determine if it's the coil, spark, plug, the wire, a
cylinder problem? What does that troubleshooting look like?
Speaker 6 (01:19:03):
I hire great technicians and they go to work.
Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
Okay, it's like serious.
Speaker 9 (01:19:07):
Well sometimes you go, you know, you just go redneck
and you swap a coil and a plug from one
cylinder to the other and see if the.
Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
Mismoves, and see if it moves.
Speaker 9 (01:19:15):
If the mismoves, you know you have one of those components.
If the mis stays at the same cylinder, then you
move on. I mean you can spray water, you know
on the coils. You can do all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 6 (01:19:26):
You can test them and watch your scan tool. It'll
show you when it's missing. So you know what cylinder
is And yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:19:31):
Is there anything anymore that has any kind of cap
and rotor? No, no, no, I don't totally gone. Yeah,
there's no purpose, no distributor, no distributor at all.
Speaker 7 (01:19:41):
Ye, that's all. It's all controlled by the UCM.
Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
Hey Jeff on maintenance for a transmission A lot of people,
including a Hondai. That's one I know because I got
a Santa Fe. But I might have been troubleshooting my
own misfire. And number two by the way, but we
won't go into that on air. So but on far
like a Santa Fe or on any vehicle that says
like you don't have to do you don't have to
(01:20:06):
do a transmission service for sixty one hundred thousand miles
or some of them. Nowadays, literally there's no way to
even check.
Speaker 7 (01:20:13):
The fluid level.
Speaker 8 (01:20:14):
There is a way to check those fluid level, but
it's been taken out of the hands of the actual
daily consumer, got it. So most of the time we
have to get them up in the air. It may
be a plug, there may actually be a dipstick. You
look like a lot of the six bee Fords. It's
a plug on the side, but when you pull out
there's a little bitty dipstick in there. It's about three
and a half inches.
Speaker 2 (01:20:33):
So it's not like the old school we remember that's
three feet long.
Speaker 7 (01:20:36):
What they've done is remove your access to it.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
I got you. But going to the question if it
says sixty or one hundred thousand miles to people truly,
and I already know what you're gonna say, but I'm
always fascinated by it because you look at the manual
and it says you don't need to do a transmission
fluid either ever or not until one hundred thousand miles.
But you always say do it every thirty or every
two years.
Speaker 8 (01:20:58):
Every three years, or thirty six miles. I mean, at
the end of the day, fluids are the cheapest thing
you're ever gonna put just inside your car. I mean
maybe maybe your girlfriend, I don't know, I haven't matter.
But as far as as far as staying on top
of stuff so that you know you're given that vehicle,
whether it's the transmission, where there's the engine, whether it's
the coint you're given that vehicle every opportunity to maximize
(01:21:21):
the life.
Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
Yeah, that's wild, man, So just do it.
Speaker 6 (01:21:25):
Maintenance, especially if you're gonna care it's cheap compared to
repairing a car. Maintenance is cheap.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
You guys can get in, do you two, especially get
in people like on Hondas and stuff. They'll have a
thirty sixty ninety thousand mile so it'll say at thirty
thousand miles to the cabin air filter, the air filter,
whatever it says, we have.
Speaker 6 (01:21:45):
We recommend it all the time.
Speaker 7 (01:21:47):
We explain no.
Speaker 2 (01:21:47):
But I mean you have people bring you stuff that
you know most people think they have to go to
the dealer.
Speaker 7 (01:21:53):
On to do a lot cheapsoutely, absolutely yeah, and then
have about the dealers a month out.
Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
You have about timing belts, yep? Do they call for
timing belts?
Speaker 7 (01:22:03):
A lot of them mere changes, a lot of them change.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
If it is a belt, do they say replace it
at sixty?
Speaker 6 (01:22:08):
Yes, And they also have in the manual they don't
tell you, but they have a severe duty which changes
all of your numbers.
Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
But what are we.
Speaker 6 (01:22:19):
Why are we severe? Altitude? Air temperature? There's so much things.
Speaker 7 (01:22:23):
Driving mountains, driving conditions, mountain roads.
Speaker 2 (01:22:28):
Well, that's a big one. Discount tired. That's why they
sell more tires here than anywhere.
Speaker 8 (01:22:33):
Quite frankly, that's a huge on suspensions out here. It's
tearing vehicles apart.
Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
You know, I'm going to go to the phones, but
I wanted to ask you guys something. This is a
little outside everything. Then I promised I got three lines going,
so we got one open three oh three seven one
three A two five five. I promise I'll jump to
them in all seriousness, answer this question honestly, including you Dragon,
and I'm gonna ask you to Steve. I'm your driver's license.
(01:22:59):
Are you a donor? Yes you are, Jesse, Yes, yes
you are. Yes, Jeff, I'm a donor. Are you a donor?
Speaker 7 (01:23:08):
Steve? Yes, dragging yep, Yes, sir.

out what I told you, guys, you organ donators. But
I'm going to go to the phone right now, but
I'm going to come back, and I got bad news
for anybody out there, anybody out there that's an organ donator.
(01:24:13):
I mean really bad news. I might change the fact
that I'm an organ donator right now. I'm not kidding.
This is no bs there whatsoever. Hey, Mitch, what's going
on with you?
Speaker 6 (01:24:28):
Well?
Speaker 11 (01:24:28):
I have a question about my automobile, my Paho. Yes, sir,
the light comes on for traction like a traction control
or something's not working right, but then it goes out.
Is there any way to check that channel without plinm
the light's not on?
Speaker 7 (01:24:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:24:45):
Absolutely, there's a history code in there. It'll point us
in a direction and we can start there. But anytime
that code that light has come on, it'll generally always
store a history code for us to look at.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
Oh okay, guys, why would it give me an idea
why it would come on?
Speaker 7 (01:25:00):
Speed sensor?
Speaker 5 (01:25:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:25:02):
Multiple you could have a wire touching rim that's shorting out,
and when you're driving, it's it's causing that wire to
short out. And when you hit a bump and it
moves a little bit, now it's picking up good, it'll
go back out. It happens all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
Can't simply be you're on ice and the wheels you're
slipping when it comes on.
Speaker 8 (01:25:17):
The purpose of the traction control, so we just recognize
as that. So it powers you down and tries to
keep you from slipping. Get that set the light or no.
You might get indicator that it's being active at the point,
but no, that's not going to set the light.
Speaker 6 (01:25:29):
Yes, it'll go out on straight.
Speaker 11 (01:25:31):
Not in a couple of times, and it's been a
while that I didn't want to all of a sudden
if I need it and it's not working.
Speaker 14 (01:25:38):
However, the engine light's been on for.
Speaker 11 (01:25:40):
A couple of years, that little light, I can't seem
that a couple of years.
Speaker 2 (01:25:44):
I quite seem to get rid of that.
Speaker 8 (01:25:46):
Damns a block electric table over the top of it.
Speaker 7 (01:25:49):
You'll you'll never miss it.
Speaker 6 (01:25:50):
Maybe those two are related. Maybe the check engine light
has information for the Stabila track.
Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
You know, I actually, well, I bought a vehicle one
time that literally someone put a piece of black tape
over the TPMs light. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 9 (01:26:07):
Yeah, well well part of the way too long though,
that code will clear itself after fifty seventy five.
Speaker 2 (01:26:14):
Recently, Mitch, did you ever have it scanned or have
any information what it is?
Speaker 11 (01:26:19):
No, not bad.
Speaker 13 (01:26:20):
I've had it.
Speaker 11 (01:26:21):
Actually, it's been there at Kevin's a couple of years ago,
and uh, because.
Speaker 2 (01:26:31):
It was fine un till I brought it to Kevin
to check my hair pressure.
Speaker 11 (01:26:36):
Now they looked at me and said it needed to
be somebody come in that had a special machine, like
the dealer, or I could go to a dealer. And
I called him and you know, they never charged me.
I had no fault there. And I tried Johnson Auto.
Speaker 10 (01:26:49):
They took forever, wouldn't do it.
Speaker 11 (01:26:50):
And it's been in Maroney Chevrolet and a couple of
times this and that. Every time I changed something, the
lights still or have it changed. So I've just learn
to live with it.
Speaker 7 (01:27:01):
Hey, let me ask.
Speaker 10 (01:27:02):
You know, when I want to get a small and
plug it.
Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
Let me ask you guys something, what what would you
these days? I mean snap on in these these companies
have scanners. It my god, I mean ten years ago
they cost ten thousand dollars. What can what nowadays can
a dealer scanner do that has certain I understand that
a manufacturer, especially maybe the first year, might be able
(01:27:28):
to have certain software that hasn't been sent out everywhere yet,
But what can a dealer scanner do these days that
an expensive good scanner can't.
Speaker 8 (01:27:39):
Be from from the manufacturer's level. And they've got this
agreement with all the multi amount of all the manufacturers.
But whether it's not on, whether it's Mac, whether it's Launch,
they only provide, they'll provide all the information to them,
but they tell them what they cannot use inside the scanner.
So that's actually kept manufacturer captive. So there are some
things that they try to keep away from you now wrong.
(01:28:00):
There's a lot of things that we've done to go backdoor, yeah,
and be able to get into the stuff. You know,
we're able to do programming in house.
Speaker 7 (01:28:05):
Now.
Speaker 8 (01:28:05):
We've got pass through connectors so we can actually get
onto GM's website. We pay for a license fee and
we can do all the things that the dealers do.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
Is that how they do it now they actually charge
a fee.
Speaker 7 (01:28:15):
Oh yeah, it's a subscription. Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:28:18):
Is absolutely horrible. Chrysler is the worst. They are cost
wise or well, no, they only release so much information
because they have to by law, but the rest of
it they keep under wraps and you have to pay
to get into it, and if you don't pay, you
can't get into it.
Speaker 7 (01:28:30):
In certain to that site is just as well.
Speaker 9 (01:28:35):
Someone like Nissan will charge you like a part for
a download.
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
Hey, Mitch, you got any other questions?
Speaker 14 (01:28:41):
Man, Yeah, so it's been a little while, so I
should wait if that light comes on again and then
get it over to you.
Speaker 15 (01:28:49):
Light.
Speaker 7 (01:28:49):
The light's already stored the code. It's just saying the
traction light.
Speaker 9 (01:28:52):
If it's been six months, six months.
Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
If it goes off, just back to this.
Speaker 8 (01:28:58):
It hasn't seen the condition to set it. Okay, after
a couple of key cycles, if it hasn't seen that condition,
it will turn the light off with a little store
in the history.
Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
But at what point, I guess the question is this,
at what point if the light comes on then goes off.
Let's say it goes off the next day, at what
point should someone bring it into a shop to check
out if the light's off at that point, I realize
you can pull the history, but it seems as if
the problem went away.
Speaker 8 (01:29:25):
The problem didn't necessarily really go away. It's just not
manifesting right now. A personally, it's still going to be there.
I would say, it's he next visit.
Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
So that light, and I'm talking about the traction light.
It wouldn't be set off like what he's talking about
purely on conditions. In other words, if you try to
peel out and it doesn't have traction, it sets the light,
then it resets the next day. You're saying, if that
light comes on attraction control light, there must be some problems.
Speaker 7 (01:29:52):
There right now. Does not mean Susanne does not have
an issue.
Speaker 12 (01:29:56):
Shut up.
Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
That was good though, I get Hey, Mitch, I appreciate
your call. Three oh three seven one three eight two
five five, Deputy bo. I'll get that update there. We're
gonna have two lines open. Three oh three Martino. I'm
just gonna read this New York post all you organ
donators out there, which includes myself, organ donors lives endangered
(01:30:21):
by rushed transplant procedures investigation fines. I saw this on
I think it was ABC or CBS Nightly News. Last night,
so I started doing research on it. Here's the bottom line.
People look and see that you're a donor, so they
rush your ass to the hospital because some of the
(01:30:41):
organs they harvest have to be done in a certain
amount of time. These reports are literally saying they rush
people there that could have been saved and back to
normal life. But because you're an organ donor, now you're
dead because they didn't give you the time because they
wanted to harves. How crazy he's that. This was like
(01:31:04):
a full report. And I'll tell everybody who's.
Speaker 19 (01:31:06):
The report just stuff own around like twenty something years ago.
That's just an urban legend.
Speaker 2 (01:31:10):
No, this is it. This is crazy, man. I'll read
who this report came from. I mean, right, there is
a New York Post and I saw it last night.
It used to be Lester Holt. Who does Lester Holt?
Speaker 5 (01:31:22):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
Whoever it is? It's that guy he talked about it.
Then I looked it up and saw this, and then
Kennedy Junior, Robert Kennedy Junior is trying to reform the
system so this doesn't happen anymore. But I never would
have thought in my life. The reason I'm willing to
give my organs up. That doesn't mean I'm willing to
give my life up. I'm like, we need a new
(01:31:44):
box on the license that says, do everything possibly human
for a long time before you take my heart.
Speaker 15 (01:31:58):
Go with a sure thing. It's best roofer Excel Roofing

Speaker 2 (01:32:31):
All right, three oh three seven one three A two
five five. I wasn't kidding about this. I just want
to read a little piece of this. This is the
New York Post, and these guys Dragon was giving me
crap over the brink, like, oh no, the ambulance isn't
gonna do it, but look here. A new report claims
several families have stated that surgeons attempted to initiate Oregon
(01:32:55):
retrievals while patients were still alive or improving, noted in
a July twe A three port from The New York Times,
It goes on to say, amid a growing push for
increased transplants, a growing number of patients have endured premature
or bungled attempts to retrieve their organs. They're saying in
Kentucky alone, there were more than seventy canceled organ removals
(01:33:19):
in Kentucky. They should have stopped sooner because the patients
showed signs of revival. Think about that. I never would
have thought that being an organ donator might lead to
your death. I mean, I realize this isn't happening all
the time, and I truly think people should still donate
(01:33:41):
their organs, but I think they need to get this
figured out. Dragon.
Speaker 19 (01:33:46):
I still don't think if you got hit on twenty
five you're lying on the pavement, an officer is not
going to be going through your wallet going is.
Speaker 2 (01:33:53):
He a donor? Is he a donor? Let's let the
guy die. Oh, they're gonna save your life. Well, that
goes to this case right here. Happened on this guy
got a flat tire and the vehicle went over to
the right and he hit like a little boulder. He
had a scratch on his hand, no other, no nothing else.
That's it, a little teeny injury on his hand. The
(01:34:15):
ambulance showed up to check him out. They took his
arm right there and his heart all in one pop
rocks and Coca Cola. Yes, no, of course that didn't happen.
I don't know. Okay, So what do you think? Are
you gonna continue to be an organ donator?
Speaker 7 (01:34:32):
Yeah? Absolutely, Yeah, me too, I guess.
Speaker 6 (01:34:34):
Staying on, why do they tell his stuff like this?
Speaker 11 (01:34:36):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:34:37):
Why why do they come out and tell his stuff like, hey,
if you're an orgon donor, you might die prematurely? Why?
I don't want to know that. I don't Jeff, are
you going to continue to be an.
Speaker 8 (01:34:47):
Organ I've actually I signed up with an actual different
group so that when I die, they will come with
the harvest whatever they can, whether it's tissue, it's my eyes,
my heart, whatever, and then at their expense, they creamate
my body and send it back to whomever.
Speaker 6 (01:35:03):
Really, you found a way to get cremated for free.
Speaker 8 (01:35:06):
And it was literally I was a twenty five dollars
sign up. You think that's real. Yeah, because I did
it after my mom did it, and that's exactly what
ended up happening.
Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
So you received your mom. Yes, that's for twenty five bucks.
Twenty five bucks what's it called? I can pulled out
of my wallet?
Speaker 7 (01:35:21):
Null?
Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
That's crazy. So how does that work? Though they get
your body parts.
Speaker 7 (01:35:27):
They get the body parts so people at.
Speaker 2 (01:35:29):
The hospital can't use them for somebody else.
Speaker 8 (01:35:31):
And my mom died of cancer, so there wasn't a
lot they wanted to harvest out of her.
Speaker 2 (01:35:35):
Yeah, of course.
Speaker 8 (01:35:35):
So the majority of what they did was actually just study,
you know, with the effects of whatever surgery she had,
you know, the progression of the cancer, so on and
so forth. When they were done, a full report was
sent back to us, along with whatever medical generals are
using it for, and they cremated her and sent it
back in a cheap earn. You probably want to buy
something nicer, depending on who you are. I don't know,
but that was the initial sign up was twenty five dollars.
(01:35:58):
They came, they collected the body right after death, did
what they needed to do, had her back in two weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:36:03):
Twenty five bucks. We had an advertiser years ago and
they're still around. They do cremations and burials. Well, I
don't know. I don't know where you get buried for
this price, but it's like a thousand bucks. I was like, man,
that's cheap. This is the name of twenty five bucks.
That's cheap.
Speaker 7 (01:36:20):
It's through Science Care And I signed up in twenty fifteen.
Speaker 2 (01:36:23):
They're still around.
Speaker 8 (01:36:23):
Yeah, they're still around, so I don't know if they've
gone up. Maybe the thirty five bucks now, I don't know,
but yeah, yeah, it's not much. They're going to benefit
out of your death in one way or another. So
it's just a matter of the cost of the administrative
cost of putting you on the list.
Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
Wouldn't that be a weird business to be in just
death in general? I mean, to be an undertaker or
whatever they're referred to. Hey, Deputy Bo, what is this
update on Jurassic Air and Mary?
Speaker 14 (01:36:47):
Yeah, Mark, I just want to bring this up to
our listeners and our YouTubers. Mary called Jurassic Air and
they came out and put out put on the water valve.
Honeywell Valve charged for fifty six hundred dollars. Oh my god,
(01:37:08):
Now that was exorbitant and In addition, I did some
research and nine News did a story on this company
where they were taking deposits for water heater installations and
never doing the water heater installing, never doing the install.
Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
That's what did we end up doing.
Speaker 7 (01:37:27):
Well.
Speaker 14 (01:37:28):
I just right now, I can't do anything. I just
want to warn our listeners about Jurassic Air. Ronnie Cadolva,
the owner, he just will not return calls or Texas.
And I just think this company should go right up
to the top of the sleeves brigade. They're taking people's
money and not doing the work. And in mary situation,
(01:37:49):
fifty six hundred dollars test you could buy a new
water heater for two thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Yeah, that's insane.
Speaker 14 (01:37:55):
I mean, it's just a bad company. I've called in Texas.
Speaker 2 (01:37:59):
Which size water heater was it?
Speaker 16 (01:38:02):
Uh?
Speaker 14 (01:38:02):
It was a ram forty gallons.
Speaker 7 (01:38:04):
My god.
Speaker 2 (01:38:05):
You know, we've got a company, euro Plumbing on referral list.
It sells those brand new installed all day long, new
gas lines, water lines, everything for under fourteen hundred dollars.
And you're saying these guys were charging her how much they.
Speaker 14 (01:38:19):
Charged her fifty six hundred repair it, to replace the
Honeywell gas valve gas. The gas valve cost is like
one hundred and ninety five.
Speaker 2 (01:38:30):
Yeah, but even if they charged her five hundred or
six hundred or whatever, I don't think I'd care. But
the point of fifty six hundred dollars? Are we sure
there was nothing else they did?
Speaker 14 (01:38:41):
I looked at Dan, but I spent a lot of
time on this. I talked to Mary, I looked at Dan. Boys.
All they did was come out and install the gas valve.
Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
Cat that's insane.
Speaker 14 (01:38:52):
No pipe.
Speaker 2 (01:38:53):
Have we tried to get these guys on the air.
Speaker 14 (01:38:57):
I'd called four times, all right, hold on, hold.
Speaker 2 (01:38:59):
On, hey, Kelly, get that information from Bow. I would
like to know if they'd like to come on the air.
I'd like to know if there's another side to that story.
Fifty six hundred bucks for a valve. Generally we don't
get into the pricing business. Look, hey, we all know
you can go online and buy a light switch for
ninety nine cents on Amazon. But if you call up
(01:39:21):
a good reputable company like Plumbline or fix It, it's
going to cost a heck of a lot more than
that for a technician, insurance, a truck, and everything to
come out and install it. We get that, but fifty
six hundred bucks when you could have got a new
water heater for less than that seems absolutely crazy. Jesse's
got a problem with his brakes. That and a lot

more coming up.

five three zero three Martino Deputy bo, Hey, did I
hear you say, Kelly? You tried to call over to
Jurassic Air and you got an out of business or whatever.
Speaker 17 (01:40:37):
So they actually have two names. One is Jurassic Air LLC.
The other one is Jurassic Home Services. Both list the
same number which has now been disconnected.
Speaker 2 (01:40:48):
Oh my goodness, bo when's the last time you tried
to dial it? Did you? Uh?
Speaker 14 (01:40:52):
I've been working on us for a few months. I
left the message about three and a half weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (01:40:59):
So listen to the You probably already did this, But
for people listening Jurassic Air, tell us about their reviews, Jesse.
Speaker 6 (01:41:06):
Yeah, it looks like thirteen total reviews, all one star.
Speaker 2 (01:41:09):
You have to work for that, now, I mean, you
honestly have to really work hard to get thirteen one
star reviews. So nothing B is.
Speaker 6 (01:41:18):
Not going to give them a rating because they're still
looking at their ten complaints that they have on the
Better Business Bureau.
Speaker 2 (01:41:23):
Oh my god, that's crazy.
Speaker 17 (01:41:26):
There's an AI component to this which I looked up,
and it says the reviews for this company and surrounding
areas are overwhelmingly negative, citing issues with poor communication, unfulfilled promises, permits, scheduling, cancelations,
and incomplete work.
Speaker 2 (01:41:45):
Hey, it sounds like in good news. Is It sounds
like the BBB's actually stepping up a little. It wasn't
long ago they had someone that was in federal prison
that was convicted of stealing over twelve million dollars as
an accountant that was five Star, so seriously, the good
news is these guys are moving on. Hey, Deputy Bow,
(01:42:06):
it looks like these guys are out of business and
gone like they should be. Let's try to find out

(01:43:52):
In fact, Jeff vic Kimber Transmission. These guys are great.
Jeff's done a lot of work for me over the years,
different transmission and services. Actually, you helped me get a
warranty on one of my Santa Fes. Right before the
one hundred thousand mile warranty came up. You looked at it.
What was wrong with that?
Speaker 8 (01:44:10):
We had some leaks on there and all actually, and
they were deep enough leaks they weren't going to try
to repair them in car. Yeah, So they went ahead
and I think you got a transmission and transfer case.
Speaker 2 (01:44:19):
Out of that I did, they replaced, They didn't do
any repairs. They replaced it under the one hundred thousand
mile bumper to bumper. It was awesome.
Speaker 8 (01:44:25):
Yeah, had it been an axle seal, that probably would
have fixed you up. But it was deep enough in
there it was going to be level. A technician job.
They just switched it out.
Speaker 2 (01:44:33):
You know, that same vehicle right after you did that
within five thousand miles. This is crazy, man. It finally
got the oil consumption problem that Hondays have. So I
went down to McDonald honday. They did like an oil
change I paid for. Then they rechecked the level. That's
how they checked for it. They rechecked the level in
I think it was like thirty days, sixty days, whatever,
(01:44:55):
and it was at whatever, and it qualified for a
new engine. So write at about one hundred thousand miles.
I got a new engine and a new transmission in
that and then we sold it right after that. But
that's that's incredible, A.
Speaker 7 (01:45:06):
Great selling point to put inside the ad.
Speaker 2 (01:45:08):
Yeah, no kidding, I did too, I said, I Actually
I did new power train. And then Kevin Calkin, You've
done a lot of work for me too.
Speaker 11 (01:45:15):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:45:16):
The one that always comes back is my RV. It
was still all under warranty. But if you have a
big rig, it cost way more to drive it down
and leave it for days.
Speaker 7 (01:45:26):
Somebody follow you, pick you up, and then you got
to go back and get it.
Speaker 2 (01:45:28):
And yeah, it's it's crazy, but you've done more than
that for me. Kevin's done a lot of work. And
then Jesse, I've never used your shop, but you're down
in Colorado Springs, but I've known you ten plus now.
Speaker 6 (01:45:38):
You've been there twice.
Speaker 2 (01:45:40):
Not for work. Oh you did do an oil.
Speaker 6 (01:45:41):
Chain couple oh changes and filters for you.
Speaker 2 (01:45:44):
Yeah, you're right. When I used to go down to
krd O a lot, You're absolutely.
Speaker 7 (01:45:47):
Right you did. Does he still o you for those?
Speaker 6 (01:45:50):
Ye know, we'll get to it.
Speaker 2 (01:45:51):
I traded him two pizzas. Jesse was kidding over the break. Well, no,
he wasn't kidding. When you call into his shop, I
do his voice over, so if if they have three
or four lines going and it's got to roll over
to voicemail, I'm on the voicemail. Yes you are, And
he appreciates that very much.
Speaker 6 (01:46:13):
Makes me feel really nice.
Speaker 2 (01:46:14):
He says. Man, we always sound like to calm guys.
Speaker 8 (01:46:18):
This is the same guy that says he butters people
up the bought cheap cars. Yeah, this is the guy
that you don't think you're getting buttered up right now.
Speaker 2 (01:46:25):
I am getting buttered up, dude. I am definitely from
you right now. I'm a piece of toast. I'm a
Thomas English muffin sitting here all right. Three oh three
seven one three A two five five. Jerry, what's going
on with you? Man?
Speaker 13 (01:46:38):
I got a question. Uh, this is actually my daughter's car,
and actually she's in Ohio and her breake sweat and
they were grinding, grinding, grinding, so she took it to
an outfit that was close to her other in Kia.
(01:47:01):
It's a twenty twenty Kia.
Speaker 2 (01:47:04):
I don't know the model, but it's a twenty twenty.
Do you know approximately how many miles she has on it?
I don't know, Okay, but she started hearing grinding. Yes, guys,
generally that you went all the way through the pad
and you have a caliper going metal to metal with
the rotor.
Speaker 7 (01:47:22):
The backing of the pad is metal, so you got
to brek Yeah, all.
Speaker 2 (01:47:26):
Right, Well, so where's the issue?
Speaker 13 (01:47:28):
They said, the back brakes are shot and in turn,
so she says, go ahead and fix it. So I
guess the outfit put it up and you need a
code to release the back breaks.
Speaker 2 (01:47:49):
What does that mean, Jesse?
Speaker 6 (01:47:50):
You're like, yep, yeah, you gotta plug in with your
scan tool and you have to put it in break
repair mode so that the electronic parking brake that these
cars have nowadays will release that we can do a
break job.
Speaker 2 (01:48:01):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:48:02):
And if you don't do that then you will be
messing up the calipers. And sometimes if you don't get
your brakes done before they do metal to metal, you
can still push that piston out on the electronic brake,
and you have to buy calipers, which by the way,
are electronic, which are not cheap.
Speaker 2 (01:48:16):
So someone could theoretically bring in a car like this
for a break job and the shop doesn't quite know
what's going on and they can try to.
Speaker 6 (01:48:25):
Pry that caliber yep, or they'll try to push the
piston back like you would in a regular job yep,
and that can destroy more. That is correct. If you
don't put it in repair mode, you're going to ruin
that caliber and the electronic parking brake. That's part of
that caliber, and then you've got to go in and
repair all that.
Speaker 2 (01:48:40):
Now wait a second, well, let me ask Jerry this. Jerry,
is at your assumption that they screwed up because they
didn't know what they were doing.
Speaker 13 (01:48:49):
No, no, no, okay, they called Kia for the code
and they says no, they don't.
Speaker 7 (01:48:56):
Give it out.
Speaker 2 (01:48:57):
What does that mean, guys? That makes makes no sense.
Speaker 6 (01:48:59):
Yeah, you just have to have a scan you're blowing
smoke up your as the proper scanner.
Speaker 13 (01:49:04):
Wow, she had to take it to Kiya because they
wouldn't give out the code to release.
Speaker 2 (01:49:10):
Wait a minute, wait, wait, wait, guys, listen, sounds like
the shop didn't know what they were because if you
have the scan tool, it's not like a code like
like on a door lock. I mean basically, you hook
up your scan tool and you give it a code
to release it. It's not like a like a master
lock code.
Speaker 7 (01:49:28):
You give it a command on your scanner to go
into a mode so you can work.
Speaker 2 (01:49:31):
They was this place? What were they called?
Speaker 13 (01:49:34):
Well, it was they do auto repairs and okay.
Speaker 2 (01:49:40):
And were they parked under a big shade tree?
Speaker 13 (01:49:45):
I don't know. See, this is my daughter and she's
in Ohio.
Speaker 2 (01:49:49):
I think I think hold on, Jerry, and we'll get
and we're going to try to help you. But I
think she brought it to somebody. According to three experts
sitting next to me, I didn't know what they're doing
at no time, do you guys have to call Kia
or Hondi or anybody for a twenty twenty vehicle code
to unlock the brakes.
Speaker 6 (01:50:10):
I was trying to think of the newest one I
did was probably a twenty three. I don't think we've
done the twenty but anyways, we didn't have to. We
just pluted it and it's all the same.
Speaker 2 (01:50:19):
So go ahead, Jerry, where are we at now?
Speaker 13 (01:50:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 21 (01:50:22):
So, well, she took it to Kia, and because she
was stuck, she had to get the brakes done before
they were grinding so bad.
Speaker 13 (01:50:35):
And then everything was gone, the this and so you
know everything, ads and everything.
Speaker 2 (01:50:43):
Yeah, did they sell her calibers or you don't know, Dad,
I don't know so generally though, guys, and I'll be honest, man,
you know, depending on if they're composite rotors or whatever,
and what kind of vehicle. How often you don't turn
rotors anymore? Do you don't you just sell new roadors?
Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
Yeah, the price nowadays and yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:51:03):
There's no reason to spend an hour on the lathel
when it's a lot of.
Speaker 7 (01:51:07):
Times we don't have enough to cut yet, or do
they make them.
Speaker 6 (01:51:10):
Respect right, I cut it putting new brakes on, and
then six weeks later you're shaken like it's it's it
doesn't behoove me to bring you back and do it again.
Speaker 2 (01:51:18):
I'm as well do it over and over. So generally
with any break job, Jerry, you're going to do pads
and rotors. So if they didn't do the calipers, I
don't know what they possibly over solder.
Speaker 13 (01:51:29):
Well, I think it was the disc.
Speaker 7 (01:51:33):
Those are the roads and the rotor.
Speaker 5 (01:51:36):
Yeah, yeah, and that's.
Speaker 2 (01:51:37):
That's what I'm saying though, believe it or not, Jerry,
I understand, even fifteen years ago, a lot of times
you would put those on a lathel and you would
long as they were in spec, you would mike them
and then you would bring them down and get them
nice and flat and the rotors would be fine. But
with composite rotors, the price of rotors, everybody just replaces them. Now,
(01:51:59):
that's just what they do, right, I.
Speaker 13 (01:52:03):
Understand that because you know her son was going to
do it. You know, because he's somewhat.
Speaker 2 (01:52:13):
Of a he's not going to do it. If he
doesn't have a scan tool, he can't do it. You're
just is your whole purpose in this call is it's
just unfair?
Speaker 13 (01:52:26):
Well, no, I I unless the guy that she took
it to it's a shop, if he doesn't have a regular,
good scan tool.
Speaker 2 (01:52:35):
Yeah, and he didn't.
Speaker 6 (01:52:36):
And that's not uncommon nowadays. There's a lot of people
that just go out and start shops nowadays. And yeah,
I can repair cars, and then they get in where
they can't do certain time.
Speaker 2 (01:52:44):
How much do you have now, let's just talk about
diagnostic equipment. I'm not talking about alignment racks. I'm not
talking about racks. I'm not talking about tire machines. I'm
talking about diagnostic tools. How much do you have in him?
Look at a shop. One hundred and fifty eight, one
hundred and fifty grand, Kevin.
Speaker 7 (01:53:02):
Yeah, hundred. We spent over ten grand in software.
Speaker 2 (01:53:05):
So I mean, Jerry, that's just how it is these days.
Speaker 13 (01:53:08):
Okay, well, how much do you.
Speaker 2 (01:53:10):
Oh, that's a good question. Kevin did that first mechanic
charge her any money. No, okay, Yeah, well it happened
the way it did. I think she found a shade tree.
I mean literally right.
Speaker 13 (01:53:24):
So so you know she had to go to the deal, yeah,
because it was quite a ways a way.
Speaker 2 (01:53:32):
I don't know the area she lives in. Listen, I'd
be honest about this. I don't know the area she
lives in. But I bet you there's a firestone, or
a good Year or a NAPA Autocare affiliated store. You'll
see a NAPA sign on the outside of it. Any
of those could have done it. I don't know where
she went, but any of those could have done it. Hey, Jerry,
(01:53:53):
I do appreciate your call though.
Speaker 13 (01:53:55):
Man, all right, thank you very much. Well, I listened
to you guys all the time, and I call him periodically.
Speaker 2 (01:54:02):
I love it. With some problem, Hey, let me ask
you this, what did you think about that organ donor conversation.
Speaker 13 (01:54:09):
That I well, no, I don't have to I had
two cancers. Well, like Tom Martino, I had a whipple.
Did you really I had stomach cancer?
Speaker 2 (01:54:20):
Wait? Wait, Jerry, how long ago did you have the whipple?
Speaker 7 (01:54:26):
Two survivors?
Speaker 2 (01:54:27):
Man, that's incredible. Man. Let me tell you people, if
you don't know what the whipple is. This man, Jerry
and Tom went through something that's absolutely remarkable. They it's
like getting gutted. They take like twenty plus percent of
your stomach, they take a big chunk of your pancreas,
they get rid of your gallbladder altogether. Then they rewire
(01:54:50):
you so your digestive system and everything works. I mean
it's incredible. Hey, Jerry, out of curiosity, I don't know
what your definition of normal is, But when did you
start feeling normal? If ever a year? Two years? Give me,
give me let me know more than that. It was
(01:55:11):
a tough.
Speaker 13 (01:55:12):
It took a couple of years or two, you know,
just to get better. Yeah, because you lose so much
weight and then you got to try and get it
back on, and you got to take all these new
drugs to help you out. Well, so it's it's a
long process.
Speaker 2 (01:55:29):
How are you doing now, though, I mean it's been
so many years, you must do you still go in
for rechecks? How do they handle that?
Speaker 14 (01:55:36):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (01:55:36):
Yes?
Speaker 11 (01:55:37):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (01:55:37):
They got me going in uh every six months just
for a check up.
Speaker 2 (01:55:42):
God, do you realize you're you know you're you're you're
pretty much a three percenter. I mean, did you know that. Yeah,
it's incredible. With Tom they caught it so early. He
actually was coming back from Hawaii Christmas last year. I mean,
we always take a couple of weeks off, so you know,
Suzanna and Irof somewhere and him and Steph were off
(01:56:03):
in white and basically he got joarndice. All of a sudden,
he turned yellow, his eyes were yellow. It was johnnas.
His liver quit functioning, and he gets back. Of course,
he goes straight to the hospital. What tell's going on.
He's not like an alcoholic or anything like that. And
then boom. What happens is the pancreas had the tumor
at the end of it, and it went and it
cut off the bile ducks into the liver, so he
(01:56:26):
went into liver failure. The ironic part is if that
tumor was anywhere else, it wouldn't have cut off the
bile ducks. And the first time he knew he had
pancreatic cancer. If that happened, could have been at stage
three or four. They basically caught it before it was
even really a stage one, and they were able to
go in with that whipple and get rid of the
(01:56:47):
tumor and do everything they needed to do, and he's
cancer free. But it is so it just doesn't happen
a lot. And I am so glad you called in, Jerry.
Speaker 7 (01:56:57):
That was going to be my question. Two.
Speaker 8 (01:56:58):
What stage were you at? What were your symptoms that
were able to track it down?
Speaker 7 (01:57:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:57:03):
How did yours go down?
Speaker 14 (01:57:05):
Uh?
Speaker 13 (01:57:07):
My urine turned like coke? Yep, the color of coke?
Speaker 7 (01:57:14):
What caused that?
Speaker 2 (01:57:15):
In the body?
Speaker 13 (01:57:16):
And my stool was white?
Speaker 2 (01:57:18):
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. That when I've heard
that's all because your liver wasn't functioning right right yep.
Speaker 13 (01:57:25):
So I had two tumors in the bioduct going out
of my pancreas at the head yep. So they went in,
took the tumors out. Yep, the pan Chris and everything else.
Speaker 2 (01:57:41):
You know, the whipple in ninety five, Think about that, Guys,
thirty years ago, this guy had the whipple. I realized
it's been around for a while. It's named after the guy.
But man, thirty years ago, how many did your surgeon do?
Speaker 7 (01:57:55):
Do you know?
Speaker 5 (01:57:58):
I don't know?
Speaker 7 (01:57:59):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:58:00):
Hold on, Jerry three O three seven one three A
two five five. I'm not trying to turn this into it,
but let me tell you something. When there's a couple
people you know, and I've known time for thirty plus
years at this point, are pretty close to it. My goodness, man,
to think of three percenters and have one call up,
it's it's remarkable. It's absolutely remarkable. And that man Whipple what,
(01:58:23):
I don't even know how surgeons work, guys. I mean,
think about cars. When you have a problem with one,
you diagnose it, you replace something. Think about designing something
though like that, Like like what kind of surgeon is
so smart? They're like, here's what we got to do.
Speaker 7 (01:58:37):
Nineteen thirty five.
Speaker 2 (01:58:39):
God, it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. And now they're still doing
it nineteen thirty five. It's crazy.
Speaker 15 (01:58:46):
Everybody, hold on, go with a sure thing Denver's Best
Roofer Excel Roofing dot com. You don't pay a cent
until you're content. Time for an insurance check up free,
no obligation. In comparison, call Compass insurance paying too much
(01:59:08):

three all three seven to seven to one help. You'll
think you're his only customer when you choose Frank durand
the real estate man dot com to list your home
with Remax Alliance three all three nine two zero sixteen
twenty two all right.
Speaker 2 (01:59:24):
Three O three seven one three eight two five five.
That was a great conversation. I really do appreciate that
guy calling in and we got his UH number and
stuff for any follow up questions. Chris has a problem
with possible wrongful termination, and then I am going to
go to Drew after that. Drew is kind of a
frequent caller. He's a really good guy. In fact, him
(01:59:47):
and Tom teamed up years and years ago, and I
think it was out of New Jersey. It might have
been New York at tep point, but man, they dug
into something and there was a big settlement and it
was crazy. But Drew's problem now now, well we're going
to find out what that is. But first, Chris, you've
been holding a wow Chris, what's going on? Where did
(02:00:07):
you get fired from?
Speaker 13 (02:00:10):
So?
Speaker 16 (02:00:10):
I started a job last Wednesday as an insurance sales representative.
Speaker 2 (02:00:16):
Aren't those mostly purely commission or were you W two?
Speaker 13 (02:00:20):
I was W two?
Speaker 2 (02:00:21):
Okay, go ahead, yeap?
Speaker 16 (02:00:24):
So after an employee meeting. The owner came into my
office and said that she noticed that I pick up
my nails or my cuticles, just a nervous habit. She
said that this was a problem for her and she
did not want clients seeing me with bitten nails or
biting nails or picking up cuticles. It needed to stop.
Speaker 2 (02:00:45):
Got then asked me if I.
Speaker 16 (02:00:47):
Had tried handcovers. I said yes, that didn't work for me.
I just told her I was so shocked. I just
told her that I understood it and left it at that.
Got myself together. My teams messaged her and said, hey,
we need to talk about the nail biting and how this,
(02:01:08):
you know, is affecting my performance. She had me come
into her office. Uh, she started to question me. I
just felt really bullied. Why I bite my nails, how
long I've been in my nails, just that she can't
have it and didn't want.
Speaker 13 (02:01:28):
Customers to see my nail.
Speaker 16 (02:01:32):
She went over the things that I've tried. I told
her that I had some anxiety and that I felt
like this was probably a nervous habit. I mean, I
told her much more about my medical than I.
Speaker 13 (02:01:46):
You know, an employer.
Speaker 16 (02:01:49):
Yeah, but you know it was brought up that anxiety,
you know, just didn't offer any solutions other than this
is like, I can't have this, and and so I
just said to her, do I need to.
Speaker 13 (02:02:04):
Get my things?
Speaker 16 (02:02:05):
Like I didn't know where this was going, And she said, yes,
you do and nodded her head. So I went in
and got my things and.
Speaker 7 (02:02:16):
We left.
Speaker 2 (02:02:19):
Now are you trying to add a curiosity, Chris? Are
you trying to get like unemployment or that has nothing
to do with this call?
Speaker 16 (02:02:27):
Well it will, but it won't.
Speaker 2 (02:02:31):
Well you should be able to get unemployment based on
the conversation you just told me about.
Speaker 12 (02:02:36):
Well, well she's she's emailed.
Speaker 16 (02:02:39):
While I went in the next morning to get my check,
they would not give it to me unless I signed
a letter of resignation. Yeah, I said I would not
sign it. I didn't resign.
Speaker 2 (02:02:49):
Good job.
Speaker 16 (02:02:51):
Yeah. And then I got an email from her later
in the day that said, you know, I just want
to go over our conversation again.
Speaker 14 (02:03:01):
I was just what did you say, Oh, she just
emailed it to me.
Speaker 2 (02:03:06):
No, no, no, I'm saying, okay, that's fine. Did you reply?
What did you say?
Speaker 13 (02:03:10):
I have not reply.
Speaker 16 (02:03:11):
I wouldn't reply, Okay, I had a reply together just
to I wouldn't do it that I okay.
Speaker 2 (02:03:18):
Yeah, well, okay, Chris, if you are going to reply
because you feel the need to just make sure she
understands it she fired, you don't even give her any
kind of language that can be construed any other way.
So I want to talk about two things with you. One,
unemployment I don't think is going to be a problem
if you actually, if she fights it, I don't think
it's going to matter. You're going to win the hearing.
Speaker 11 (02:03:39):
Go.
Speaker 7 (02:03:39):
So she's only been there for about a week.
Speaker 2 (02:03:41):
I don't know if that matters. You've got to build
it up in the coffers. No, no, no, no, no, it
goes back to her last and last employer, correct.
Speaker 13 (02:03:49):
Yes, yes, yeah, it'll go to the and.
Speaker 2 (02:03:53):
In fact, it can even go to the one before that.
So I don't think unemployment is going to be an issue.
But the second part, I think you're alluding to wrongful
termination in the state of Colorado, and in fact, I
think every state in this great nation now it's at will.
So unless they fired you for like being a woman,
or fired you for being black, or fired you for
(02:04:14):
being handicapped, now that might be an argument, but I
don't think you're handicapped, so I would take that argument away.
But I'm not an attorney, so I'm just kind of
giving you advice, how I see it, by taking a
lot of these phone calls and seeing the outcome down
the road. Just like I did with the unemployment, I
don't see as that is an issue. I think you
just got to move on, get unemployment and find a
(02:04:35):
new job.
Speaker 13 (02:04:37):
Okay, Yeah, I just was curious.
Speaker 16 (02:04:40):
I mean I didn't want to, you know, obviously sue
or anything like that.
Speaker 2 (02:04:46):
There's nothing to sue for. In my opinion, there's nothing
to sue for. I know you don't think it's right,
but that is not a protected class. Someone that bites
their nails. I mean, she can fire you for virtually anything.
I mean, she can for having flag right, she can
sire you for anything.
Speaker 16 (02:05:06):
I mean, when I talked to the EOC, they said
that nail binding is a symptom of anxiety, and anxiety
is you know, if you do have a documented disorder
free of anxiety.
Speaker 2 (02:05:18):
Yes, yeah, but okay, Chris, let me ask you this,
do you even want to work for You could care
less at this point, right, No, No, But if you're
on I'm just trying to be very right, matter of fact.
So if you can get unemployment or unemployment you're going
to have that coming in, then you can go find
another job where you're not going to have issues with
(02:05:40):
the employer. Yeah.
Speaker 16 (02:05:42):
I guess I'm just more concerned about the unemployment.
Speaker 2 (02:05:46):
And if the unemployment's not going to be a problem,
we have an angel. In fact, we know personally the
head of unemployment in Colorado, the guy Okay, so if
there's an issue there, we can reach out. I'm taking
you at your word the conversation you had, but I
want you to quit focusing on what a jerk this
boss was. I understand why you feel the way you do.
(02:06:09):
I don't know her perspective from it because I wasn't there.
I don't know how bad. I don't want to call
them tremors but to shaking or the nail biting, whatever
it is. I don't know how bad that is. But
I understand how you feel because if anybody called me
out for anything, whether it was really happening or not,
it would still irritate me. But I don't want you
to focus that on anymore. Get the unemployment and find
(02:06:30):
another job. I think personally, my opinion is that's the best.
Speaker 7 (02:06:33):
For you, right right?
Speaker 16 (02:06:36):
That was Yeah, my biggest thing was the unemployment and
my word against hers because in her email that she
sent me, she's saying now that I resigned.
Speaker 2 (02:06:47):
But well, of course she is because she doesn't want
to paycheck.
Speaker 8 (02:06:49):
But yeah, and they refuse to give you a paycheck
until you actually signed that release that says you resigned.
How they surrendered that yet.
Speaker 6 (02:06:56):
No, I still don't have a.
Speaker 7 (02:06:57):
Paycheck to the labor board.
Speaker 2 (02:06:59):
Yeah, well that's another thing you can do that you
know how quick they're supposed to give you that paycheck.
And this is more for people listening.
Speaker 16 (02:07:07):
It's the labor board told me they have to give
it to you that day or they have six hours
into the next day.
Speaker 7 (02:07:13):
That's right, that's exactly until the next payroll period.
Speaker 2 (02:07:17):
Yeah, then it would be a standard payroll check, whether
it's monthly, weekly, bi weekly, whatever. But Chris, don't, I
wouldn't even respond in you this All they're doing is
fishing for you to somehow give them any kind of
ammunition in front of the either the labor board or
in front of unemployment. Don't be a fish, respond I
(02:07:38):
wouldn't respond to a damn thing. What I would do
is file for unemployment right now, and then I would
contact the labor board that you were terminated and they
refuse to give you the paycheck. Those are the steps
I would do, and both of them are going to
play out wonderfully for you.
Speaker 16 (02:07:56):
And if I have additional issues, I could call in with.
Speaker 2 (02:07:59):
Your Oh heck, yeah you can. You won't call in
with the angel. What will happen is we will relay
the information and they will get directly involved in your case.
Speaker 16 (02:08:09):
Okay, all right, Okay, I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (02:08:13):
Yeah, you got it, Chris. I appreciate you calling, and
honestly make sure you call back. In fact, I rather
you call back either way when you're on unemployment. When
you find a new job, I'd love an update, a
good or bad. The bad will help you with the good.
We just like to hear hold on.
Speaker 15 (02:08:34):
Go with a sure thing Denver's best roofer Excel roofing
