Speaker 1 (00:00):
We talked yesterday about shad Or Sanders making his NFL
debut for the Browns on Sunday when some guys broke
into his house in Cleveland. And that's the This is
not the first time this has happened where we have
an NFL player doing, you know, doing his job, and
the bad guys figure out where they live and they go, well,
he's he's on the football field right now, We're going

(00:21):
to break into his home. So they uh, the stuff
taken from him valued it over two hundred thousand dollars,
which is a lot of stuff, which is not nothing. Right,
There is no indication as to what was stolen. Would
imagine the usual stuff. Probably some memorabilia, yeah, maybe some jewelry, electronics, whatever,
oh anything.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah. I don't know if he's a big art.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Collector or what, but like it could be it could
be anything that was but two hundred thousand dollars with
the stuff, yeah, they it was three guys. It's about
six forty five, that's the thing. Six forty five in
the afternoon, six forty five in the evening. That's brazen,
it is. I mean it's dark out at that time,
but still yeah, but I mean people are moving around, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Walking their dogs or eating dinner and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
And man, they were wearing masks and they spent about
twelve minutes inside his Cleveland residence. So well, we all
get to jump into his nightmare while the water is warm,
because he starts on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yes he does, Yeah, yes he does. Who do they have?
I don't know, that doesn't matter. Somebody really good? Well,
if you're Cleveland, everybody's really good.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Right, let's jump over to the Legacy Retirement Group dot
com phone line. Let's go to Capitol Hill, and our
man on the scene is Ryan Schmells from Fox News.
All right, it was pretty much a slam dunk yesterday,
green lights across the board. Congress proving to release the
Epstein files, goes to Trump's desk today expected to sign it.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
So what's the timeline.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Today, Well, well you can't. You can't talk about the
game the Ravens just played on Sunday and not get
me to comment. First of all, Okay, I mean, I mean,
so it's unacceptable happened to Sirgar Sanders with his home.
But number two, you know, I don't know if any quarterback,
I mean, he was putting a pretty winless situation going
out there, you know, midway through uh the game, and

(02:12):
the offensive line was not playing well, and you know
the Ravens certainly took advantage of that. I mean, when
you've got a safety he was blowing past one of
the best guards in history and Joel Patonio and getting
a sack, you know it's going to be a long
day for your quarterback.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, and again he gets a he gets a redo
this weekend. We'll see how he does. But things are
not looking great in Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Ryan.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Yeah, hey, but you got two first round picks in
the next next draft, maybe you get a quarterback, maybe
a stack up.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
But we always get round talking about congratulations. You got
the draft to look forward to.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, and and the Deshaun Watson contracts getting nearing its end,
So I think when that finally ceases, you can, uh
can finally start building again.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I was hoping you'd somehow make us feel better, but
you didn't.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
But that's okay, I appreciate it. So anyway, Trump's going
to sign this at some point this afternoon.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I would imagine, I don't know yet. You know, we
don't even know if the if the legislation has actually
made it all the way to the Senate even though
they've passed it through your unanimous consent. But you know,
President Trump is expected to sign this at some point.
We just don't know what that's.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Going to be.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Okay, and then and then what and then is it
like immediate or do they need to go through all
what ten thousand pages of all the documents that we've
got and go through and redact all the you know,
the sensitive victim information and then release it or how.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Does that work?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Essentially, Yes, there's still going to be redactions that are made.
The understanding is it's not going to be to the
extent that some of the information that's been released so
far has been. But at the same time, you know,
the big criticism one way is that the documents that
have been released so far is over redacted. The counter
argument is is that, well, this, this current legislation will

(04:03):
not do enough to protect victim's sensitive information. So there's
a lot of different arguments that are being made here.
But you know, we're going to probably see how it
plays out when when the dj starts starts in acting this.
If they started acting.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
In are you hearing anything, Ryan, Is there actual criminal
activity outlined in these documents or is it just like
embarrassing your your Epstein adjacent and it just looks bad
for you versus actually committing crimes.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Well, we don't know. You know, that's uh, you know,
that's that's kind of what we're trying to figure out
right now. Even if like some of the stuff comes
out and it looks like some of the documentation that's
come out so far may not have you know, led
to anybody being criminally you know, but prosecuted, And of
course there's always gonna be a question, well, if they
knew it had any dirt on people before, you think

(04:51):
the dj would have would have arrested them. But if
there's some serious allegations against people in these documents and
they never face justice for it, and that's going to
be an indictment on the government for not following through.
So you know, I don't know, We're not going to
know that until we get we see the documents and
see ultimately what's in them.
