Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now then on the Legacy Retirement Group dot Com phone line,
foxnews dot com.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Contributor Lizpeak joins me.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
Liz, before we get into your latest story at foxnews
dot com, how about the elections in Wisconsin and Florida.
Florida kind of went the way we thought it would.
A lot of money was spent on that Wisconsin race
the Supreme Court there, with Susan Crawford getting to win,
and the court there stays liberal with a four to
(00:30):
three majority.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah, so there's a lot to talk about in all this,
but I mean, to me, the headlines are, yes, they're billionaires,
spent more than our billionaires. All you hear about is
Elon Musk spending twenty million dollars on that Wisconsin Supreme
Court race. Guess what, George Sourrows and Jay Pritsker and
all these other people also spent way more than that.
(00:54):
Plus they were on the ground early. They saw that
this was an opportunity, I think before the GOP kind
of figured it out, frankly, and so they won that race.
But the other thing that happened in Wisconsin is not
getting much pressed that I think is very significant is
that voters passed by an overwhelming majority of voter ID
law law, which Democrats hate. So it's quite an interesting
(01:17):
kind of one two punch In Wisconsin. Somehow they rallied
the young people in Madison and the liberals in the
college communities, etc. To go and vote for this lefty
Supreme Court justice. But at the same time, voters are like,
I mean, this is another issue voter ID where Democrats
are on the wrong side. I mean, Americans want voter
(01:40):
ID and this is a very good example of that.
In Florida, much has been made of the lesser margin
of victory by the GOP in these two districts, but
this is an off here election. It's a special election
in Mike Watson's seat. Yeah, I think it was fourteen
points spread something like that, down from something. But you know,
(02:02):
the Democrats raised ten million bucks, They outspent the Republican
candidate by ten to one, and they lost profoundly. So
I think we can kind of read from that number.
One Democrats are happy throwing ten million bucks away, which
I thought was ridiculous, But an awful lot of people
like myself who sometimes contribute to local races, I wasn't
(02:25):
going to put money in those races. I knew we'd win,
so you know, I think, Look, I don't think there's
a tremendous statement here either way. Democrats are continually earning
their worst approval ratings ever. I really laughed out loud
this morning. I woke up at four point thirty and
I was reading about this Corey Booker thing. The theater,
(02:45):
the Theater of the absurd, and this is supposed to be. Wow,
kind of the big turning point for the Democrats. Now
they're energized because the guy can last on his feet
for twenty four hours. Taking nothing away from Corey Booker,
Good for him, But what did he talk about? Talk about? Nothing?
He talked about lies about social Security. This makes me crazy.
(03:06):
There is nothing going on that should make people nervous
about Social Security payments except what people like Corey Booker
and Chuck Schumer and Jakim Jeffries are telling them. They're saying,
oh my god, you're going to lose your Social Security
and Medicare benefits because of Doge. We know, you know,
(03:26):
and I know it is not true. Elon Musk has
told people repeatedly. All they're doing in those agencies is
cleaning up decades of bad management, wasted money, illegal payments,
and this is what Democrats are fighting against. I mean,
you just have to take a deep breath and say,
what are you talking about.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
The only people that are going to lose Social Security
are people that have been dead for fifty years, right,
That's what Elon Indoge is doing speaking with Lispeak foxnews
dot com her latest piece under the opinion stab. It's
called Democrats in panic mode. It's Elon Musk and Doge
go public. And yeah, you blessed Corey Booker's little liberal
(04:08):
heart for doing what he did.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
But this is the problem. There was no substance.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I mean, yes, from a physical standpoint, good for him
he was able to speak and stand on his feet
for twenty five hours and five minutes. But once again
Democrats had no messaging that there's no substance other than
you know, we hate Donald Trump, we hate Elon Musk,
and you know what we're hearing now. Doze continues to
do what it does, and that is fine. Fraud, waste
(04:36):
and abuse and eliminate it. What's the problem with And by.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
The way, having Elon Musk and his Doge team make
a present, you know, appear on bread Bear's Special Report.
I don't know that audience is five million people something
like that. That was such a good idea because there's
this vision that they're these cowboys running around the government.
Who are these people, Well, turns out they're the heads
(05:01):
of major corporations, wildly successful, very smart business people who
are bringing twenty first century practices to agencies that are
rooted in the past. I mean, if you're happy eating
spam and wearing poodle skirts, you should be happy with
our federal government today. If you aren't, and you know,
(05:22):
you should be applauding this incredible cleanup job that they're doing.
And honestly, my hurt is sick that there are people
firebombing Tessa dealerships because they because some Democrats like Corey
Booker has said, oh my gosh, Elon Musk is your enemy.
No he's not. He is trying, literally out of the
(05:45):
Goodness's heart, along with all these other guys, to fix
what is profoundly broken in our government and nothing I
actually I wrote in this piece Donald Trump's going to
be remembered for a lot of things, including cutting down
on illegal immigration. It really be though, this modernization of
the government that is probably his most important could be
(06:07):
his most important legacy. When you hear that there are
seven hundred different tech platforms at just the National Institute
of Health, needless to say, they don't coordinate, they don't
speak to each other. A lot of the fraud in
our government is because you have systems like that all
over the government that are absolutely antiquated and literally decades old,
(06:30):
nineteen fifties kind of stuff. So, I don't know, I'm
very frustrated that the American people are getting such an
incredibly incorrect view and distorted view of what this group
is up to. And I think, honestly it is because
in addition to correcting tech problems, DOGE is also uncovering
(06:52):
out and that fraud and bad deeds by Democrats, and
so they're going crazy.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
I guess I'm kind of confused, Liz, because why Democrats
are so against DOJE and Elon Because President Obama actually
campaigned in twenty eleven it was called the Campaign to
Cut Waste.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
I'm sure you've seen the video.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
It's out there, and it's it's authentic video of him
basically saying the same things that Elon is doing, and
it's we need to be more efficient we need to
cut waste, We need to root out and eliminate the
fraud and the abuse in the federal government. Barack Obama
said all these things, he wanted to do all of
these things. In fact, he set up the US Digital Service,
(07:35):
and that's what kind of what this was supposed to be.
Elon took that to the next level. Is actually, you know,
implementing some of the thoughts that Obama had in twenty eleven.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yeah, guess who Obama put in charge of all that,
Joe Biden. Is it any wonder that nothing got done?
I mean, really, it's amazing, isn't it. But you're completely correct.
This should be This should be universally applauded. Again, I
think when Elon Musk revealed that there had been five
(08:08):
and a half million Social Security numbers issued to illegal immigrants,
and that one point pre million of those people, by
dint of that receiving that Social Security number, ended up
on Medicaid, which is illegal, by the way, but which
is what Joe Biden was trying to accomplish by not
only welcoming all these illegal immigrants but eventually making them voters.
(08:31):
And that a lot of those one point three million
were registered to vote. I think that's why Democrats are
going nuts, because they're revealing in USAID, in all these
NGOs like Stacy Abrams getting two billion dollars for absolutely nothing,
et cetera. They're revealing a lot of stuff that Democrats
don't want voters to know about. And you know, thanks Lord,
(08:54):
we're finding this stuff out. And the reason is these
guys are very smart and they have technology working with them,
and I think, uh, you know, I think that's just
sort of irresistible.
